General Hospital Update Thursday 8/16/18

Jason walks into Sonny’s restaurant. He informs Sonny that there is no way that Julian will be able to afford the bid of one of the contractors. Sonny knows without the contractor the expansion stays dead.

Jordan and Curtis sit down together. She knows they agreed to get married and they have hardly started the plans. Curtis wonders if she is stressed. Jordan assumes she is too. Curtis is marrying the woman that has captured his heart. He is the opposite of stressed. He thinks they need to talk about Shandra.

Julian tells Kim at the bar that he has been trying to honor his agreement and keep his business clean. He has separated himself from Sonny’s world. It is a little difficult when Sonny has every contractor in his back pocket. Margaux sits down. She wants to hear all about Sonny’s pockets.

Sam tells Kristina in Alexis’ living room that she wants to hear about Oregon and Parker. Kristina already did. Sam wants all the juicy stuff that she cannot say in front of Alexis. Kristina wants Sam to go first.

Stella knocks on the door at the Quartermaine house. She hopes she is not interrupting. Michael says hi to her. He asks if everything is alright with Mike. Stella says that he is fine. She actually came to look in on him. She is very sorry about this.

Elizabeth walks over to her friend Terry at the hospital. Terry is so glad that they are finally getting the chance to work together. Elizabeth doesn’t think that she has any idea how glad she is to see her. Terry wonders what is wrong. Elizabeth doesn’t think that it is anything to worry about. Cam got arrested for shoplifting. Terry laughs. Elizabeth asks why she is laughing. Terry thinks she knows why.

Carly closes the backdoor in the living room. Joss walks in. She asks what is up. Carly wants to talk with her for a moment. Carly knows she has been shoplifting. She found the clothes. Carly will believe whatever she tells her. If she finds out that she is not being honest it will put them in a hole. She needs Joss to really think about this. She wants her to answer her truthfully. She needs to know if she stole the clothes. Joss is sorry. She starts to cry. Carly thinks that she obviously didn’t want the clothes. She stashed them in Mike’s closet. Joss didn’t know what to do so she just put them in there. Carly wants to know why. Joss was in the store and she saw the stuff. She did it and she got away with it. Carly assumes that is the part that felt good. Joss hasn’t felt good in a long time. Carly cannot imagine what this has been like for her. How confused and alone she felt when she went away. She doesn’t think that stealing is the way to deal with it. Joss doesn’t want to talk about this. Carly wonders if this has to do with Nelle. It is going to be ok. Joss explains that Nelle said all these awful things about Carly. She believed her, yet she knows that if the situation was switched she would have stuck with her. She wants to know what is wrong with her.

Sam really doesn’t know where to start. Kristina suggests when Jason got back. Sam was in the hospital and Jason came to visit her. She knew it was him the moment she opened her eyes. She realized that it was him. She didn’t tell Drew. She was really confused. She made sure that Drew knew that she loved him. The issue was that she also loved Jason. She wanted to be around him. She couldn’t be around him though

Elizabeth knows she is a hypocrite going in on Cam after all the stuff she did as a child. She just isn’t sure where it is coming from. He had such a good year academically and socially. He was the anti-her at his age. She never had to worry about him. Terry suggests that is the problem.

Curtis explains that Shandra reached out to let him know that she took a job in PC. Jordan wonders if this was before or after she found out she was living here. Curtis is here for her. He didn’t reach out to her. Jordan knows who did and why.

Kim tells Julian that this is the new DA. Margaux assumes that he is Charlie. Julian tells her his real name. He assumes she knows it. Margaux feels just as much as the name Corinthos.

Sonny tells Jason that there was a guy who had been in the business even longer than Scully. So, the night of the job someone told him to accept the choice and honor it. He wondered if he could do it. Jason wonders what would happen if he couldn’t have accepted it. Sonny is not sure. Jason assumes he regretted it. Sonny didn’t for a second.

Kim thinks that Margaux looks familiar. She wonders if they met outside of PC. Margaux thinks that she just has one of those faces.

Jordan has done everything in her power to look past that woman. She keeps telling herself to be kind. Yet, the entire time she has been trying to sabotage them. Jordan thinks this is a warning. Kind might not be an option for her and Stella anymore.

Stella explains that there are special groups for parents who have lost children at birth. Parents who might think they didn’t get enough time to love the baby. She thinks that Michael knows better than anyone that is not true. Michael appreciates her coming but he will be fine. He has a handle on what happened and how to move forward. Stella feels that he acts just like Sonny. Grief doesn’t exist on a time table. If you don’t deal with it, then it will start with a loss. Stella wants Michael to take the pamphlets. She doesn’t want him to throw them out the moment she walks out the door. He has her number, he can call her. Michael tells Stella to take care. Stella wants him to do the same.

Sam asks if Kristina knows the night of the earthquake, her and Jason almost died. She told him the truth that she loved Jason. She told Drew the truth as well. Sam said the words and put it out there. Drew couldn’t handle it. He left her. It was his choice to end things. It was the right choice. Sam can finally breathe again. Sam thinks it feels good.

Carly promises that there is nothing wrong with Joss. She acted like the kidney was a gift. It wasn’t. Joss thinks that she saved her life. Carly thinks that Jax saved her life. They can debate until the cows come in if Jax was morally right, Jax did this because he loves her. What Nelle’s dad did was awful, but she doesn’t owe Nelle. She thought that Nelle was an innocent and kind person but she snowed her. Joss knows that everyone figured out what happened. Carly wants to know why Joss would believe anything else but what was said. She thinks that Nelle is sick and a sociopath. She tried to kill her brother. Joss wonders why she doesn’t hate her.

Sam admits she misses having a partner but working on what she wants is nice. Kristina wonders if that is what she should do. Sam doesn’t know. She wonders if that is what she needs to do. She asks what is going on with Parker. Kristina thinks that she is great with her work life. Sam wonders about their relationship. Kristina thinks that Parker has a life and she feels like she is drifting.

Terry hears that being the perfect woman comes with dealing with things. Elizabeth has to spend a lot of time with Jake because of his issues. Aiden is the baby. With Cam she never had to do that. He is just a kid. He deserves as much attention as his brothers. She knows that Cam will be the first to say she is a wonderful mother.

Carly could be sad and disappointed with the choices she makes, but she could never stop loving her. Carly promises. People say that they are so much alike. There is one crucial difference. There was a long time in her life before she had unconditional love. It was with Jason, then with Bobbie, Sonny, Michael, and Jax. The people in her life are not leaving. Joss has had them all her life. She thinks that knowing she is there. She doesn’t love her because she has her back or because she is her biggest champion. She loves her because she is there. Joss missed her. Carly missed her. They hug.

Sonny never had a problem eliminating a legit threat. The funny thing is the one thing that came back to bite him, he never would have thought that it would involve Joe Scully. Jason thinks they have to make sure that it never happens. Jason wants one way or another for the body to not resurface. Jason gets a text. Sam wants to meet. He wants him to let him know if he needs anything. They will handle this.

Margaux asks why Sonny would want to buy this place. Kim explains that Charlies Pub has a meaning to Mike. It be like a gift. Kim doesn’t think that every gift that Sonny gives has to be bad. Margaux feels most do.

Jordan knows that Stella doesn’t like her. She cannot have her thinking that she loves someone else. She wants their wedding day to be the best day of their lives. He needs t tell his aunt that se cannot come. Stella walks in.

Elizabeth thinks she needs to carve a little time for her and Cam to talk. She doesn’t want him to feel bad. Terry thinks she is a damn good parent.

Joss missed talking with her. Joss at least knew where she stood when she was here, She hated not knowing what she thought. Joss waned that to stop. The two hug each other. Carly kisses her. Carly asks if that is why she shoplifted. Carly assumes she wanted to not get caught but there was emptiness after. Joss sat there with the shirt and wondered why she would do this. She thought that maybe she could regain control over her life. She thought it would make things better. Joss hasn’t done it since she got back. Carly thinks that helps. Joss doesn’t know where she is going to put the clothes. Carly is going to have her return it, they will pay the vender back, and she will pay her back with the money she made this summer. If that is not enough she will bus tables at the Metro Court until she pays her back. They will start first thing in he morning. She wanted her back so she is back. Joss is glad. They hug again.

Michael sits down. Kristina walks in. Michael stands up. He didn’t know she was home. Kristina had to come see him. She is so sorry.

Kim tells Julian not to pick a fight with Sonny. She will leave. She has been honest with her since the beginning. People here are in such a good place right now. She really would hate for them to miss out on an opportunity right now. She doesn’t want to go somewhere else for her coffee.

Stella asks if Curtis would prefer she not be at the wedding. Curtis doesn’t agree but she hasn’t given them much choice with the nonsense she pulled with Shandra. Stella owned up for her mistake. Stella asks what they want from her. Jordan cannot trust a word that comes out of her mouth. Jordan is done here. Curtis is not letting anyone go anywhere until they figure this out.

Carly thinks this was huge. Carly knows it was kind of cool. Joss thinks it wasn’t a big deal. Sonny walks in seeing these smiles is the greatest thing. Joss tells Sonny that there is something she should know. The clothes that Mike found, she stole them. She was shoplifting for a while. She was overwhelmed with everything. She needed to take back control. Sonny should have asked a lot more questions. Joss owned her choices. Sonny thinks that now that she is her step-daughter. Fair or unfair, she has to be held to a different standard. Half of what Carly went through is because of her last name. Joss is glad she stuck with Jacks. Sonny needs her to call him or come to her the next time she wants to be break the law. The comes for everything. Joss wonders if she should become a nun. Sonny doesn’t think that is the worst idea. Joss and Carly thinks it is.

Jason walks into Charlies. Margaux tells him to sit and chat.

Michael knew better. She drugged their father. He still wanted to be with her. He created a situation like this. It got his child killed. Kristina checked with everyone. Jonah didn’t die because of the accident. There was nothing wrong with him. If he wants to regret his choices, then he cannot blame himself for Jonah’s death.

Sam thinks Jason for coming. She has Danny’s permission slip for him to sign. Jason signs it. Julian tries to wave to Sam. She doesn’t respond. Margaux asks if she is a friend of his. Julian says it is his daughter. Sam tells Jason that Danny thinks he is bringing a pig home. Jason thinks if he does bring one home it is going straight to her place. Sam wonders if there is something off with the new DA.

Elizabeth wonders if her cases are doing well. Terry thinks most of her patients are doing great. She has one case that is challenging. Kim walks over. She asks if Terry has time to go over blood work. Terry does.

Sonny thinks that Joss is so well put together. He thought she was handling this better than he was. Joss was minus the shoplifting. Carly thinks they can all agree that this could have been worse. She dealt with it well. Sonny thinks they are proud of her. Carly says not the stealing part. Sonny means everything else.

Kristina doesn’t think that this is his fault at all. Michael thought he was going to be the one good thing to come out of all this. He wanted to be able to raise him and keep him safe. Then when Nelle put him in his arms, she told him that she was gone. It didn’t compute. His brain refused it. He was looking down at this perfect and beautiful little boy. He thought that was going to open his eyes. He was going to move. He would breathe. He didn’t though. The first time he met his child he was already dead. Kristina hugs him.

Curtis loves them both. There has to be a way to work this out for both of them. He has no idea how.

Sam gets the idea that this is more personal for Margaux than just her being the DA. She has a lock on Sonny. It goes deeper than taking down the local crime boss. Margaux asks Julian if he is going after Sonny or if Kim call the shots. Julian thinks that she wants someone to provoke Sonny so she can take him down. Margaux asks what the issue is. Jason knows she will cause problems for Sonny. Sam thinks that is trouble for him.
