General Hospital Update Friday 7/20/18

In the barn, Obrecht knew that there would come a day that she might have to burn her old life down just as she did Peter’s. Obrecht lights the bottle in her hand on fire and throws it against the wall. Nina screams for her not to throw it. Obrecht cackles like a witch. Nina asks what she has son.

Sonny is sitting in his living room, reading a brochure on an elder care facility for Mike. Jason walks in asking if there is any word. Sonny informs him that Diane got an in with a judge. She is visiting with Carly.

Diane tells Mary Pat that she can argue all she wants. All that matters is the signature from the judge. Mary Pat asks if the judge is acquainted with the psychiatric care of disturbed persons. Diane says that the judge is aware of the law. She needs to see Carly now. Diane informs Mary Pat that if she doesn’t give her access to Carly right now she will be breaching court order. If loses her position here that is great news.

Michael takes Nelle home. Nelle is glad to start her new life with Michael and the baby. Michael guesses that is a plan. Nelle has been dreaming about this for so long. Michael believes this is a reality. He welcomes Nelle home as Mrs. Corinthos.

Valentin demands to talk with his lawyer at the PCPD. Chase will see what he can do. Jordan comes to see Finn. Finn wants an update on Obrecht. Jordan is waiting on a DNA report back from the lab. Curtis walks in. They might not need to wait. Obrecht is on the rampage.

Lulu finds Maxie at the docks. Lulu had some work on the Haunted Star. Maxie is just waiting for the launch. She needs to get to Spoon Island. Lulu says that it is closed down. Maxie thinks if anyone believes that they are crazy.

Nina and Peter are on the ground struggling. Obrecht wants Peter to give her best to Faison from hell.

Curtis explains that Obrecht was with Maxie and James was released. That was the last they saw of her. Obrecht knocked Franco out at the docks, not Valentin.

Lulu thinks that Valentin really loves Nina in his own way. She feels terrible for her. Maxie knows that Nina is going through a lot. Maxie thinks that if she needs to get to the Haunted Star she can. Lulu was just there. Maxie guesses she can go home. Charlotte and Rocco are probably missing her. Lulu asks why she is so intense on going to Spoon Island. Maxie needs to get there right away. Lulu says that the Haunted Star has a Zodiac they could take over. Maxie admits that Obrecht has been acting strange for her. She has hardly spent anytime with James. Nina has been distant too. Maxie thinks that Obrecht has been holding Peter captive. She is worried that Nina is in on it as well.

Valentin asks if he gets his one phone call now. Chase explains that there is no point. He is free to go. Valentin thanks him for this complete waste of his time and being the only officer in PC to not automatically think he is guilty.

Nina begs Obrecht to help her get Peter up. Peter cannot move.

Jason wonders if Diane said anything about getting Carly released. Sonny thinks it is a matter of time. Sonny still doesn’t know what Carly was thinking. They both know that there is little that Diane can actually do.

Mary Pat takes Diane to Carly’s room. Diane is shocked to see that Carly is in a padded cell. Mary Pat justifies that Carly is violent and unstable. She managed to over power her. Diane thinks it is a conflict of interest for her to supervise her. Mary Pat claims to be a professional. Diane says hi to Carly. Carly is completely out of it and unresponsive

Michael explains that Monica had the housekeeper stock up on healthy snacks. Nelle wonders how Monica is doing. Michael thinks that she is better, and she sends her love. Drew walks in and asks how the baby is. Nelle says that the baby is fine. Michael is going to get her room together. Nelle thought that they were sleeping together. She intends on sleeping with him tonight.

Chase is shocked to actually have someone tell the truth. Jordan doesn’t want him to get used to that. Chase gets a call. Michael is on the other line. They are back at home. She is still acting like a blissful newlywed. Chase needs her to think that she is being strung along. Michael feels if she thinks that it is a trap then it will only make her more dangerous.

Drew asks if there is anything he can get Nelle before he leaves. Nelle is good. She thanks him for asking. Drew knows they are family now. Nelle points out that she has so little family of her own. Nelle feels they have a lot in common. They both came into this house as outsiders. She wants hope that one day she will be accepted like him. Drew thinks if she keeps trying it will work out. Nelle asks how Drew got everyone to overlook the fact that he is a killer.

Jason thinks that they have other resources. Sonny promises they will get Carly out of Ferncliff. Jason wonders if he had a bad day. Sonny tells him that Mike had another bad day. Felix calmed him down. Felix thinks it is time that he starts to think about permanent care. Sonny can’t do that though. Sonny doesn’t think that they know his dad. They are not family.

Diane tries to get Carly to respond. She asks if she can understand. Sonny sent her. Carly recognizes Sonny’s name and asks if he is here. Diane came. She is working hard so Sonny can come and visit. Diane wonders what drugs they are giving her. Carly doesn’t do drugs, they are bad. Diane needs to know the drugs. Carly tells Diane that she needs to stop Michael from marrying Nelle.

Curtis feels that Franco knew more than he said about all of this. If Franco knew about Peter, then he must have known that Obrecht’s time is getting short.

Maxie tells Lulu that some kid was able to identify Obrecht, in a cabin in the woods with a man who could be Peter. She knows that Obrecht has done some bad things in her life. Maxie guesses they found proof the kid was telling the truth. Maxie thinks this all makes sense now. Lulu thinks it sounds suspicious. Maxie is worried about Peter. She needs to save Obrecht and Nina herself. Lulu believes they are both out of their minds. Maxie feels it will take someone who loves them to save them. Valentin agrees. The launch is on its way.

Nina is going to get help. She runs towards the door, but it is on fire out there. She begs for someone to help them.

Nelle asks if that was out of line. She is sorry, but she can be a little blunt. Drew doesn’t think that anyone looks at him as a killer. He certainly doesn’t look at himself that way. Nelle thinks that he sure remembers things like Jason does. If most people did what Jason did he would be in prison. She asks how he got away with murder.

Sonny knows that everyone warned him that Alzheimer’s has a predictable end. Every time, his father would bring up the body in Croton he should have handled it differently. Sonny shouldn’t have pressed him. Sonny wonders if he is trying to look to not blame himself. Jason doesn’t think that this is how Alzheimer’s works. He is the one who will remember this not Mike. The choices he makes have to feel right. He has to live with the choices.

Carly begs Diane to stop Michael from marrying Nelle. Diane promises that Sonny and Jason will stop it. She asks if she is getting a short or pills. Mary Pat walks in saying her time is up.

Curtis suggests that Sonny could know something. Jordan will not put herself in a position where she owes Sonny a favor. Chase takes Jordan aside. Curtis tells Finn to calm down. Jordan is doing everything she can. Curtis knows all about the West Nial Virus going on. Finn assures him it isn’t happening. Curtis wonders why the island is under lock down then.

Obrecht calls out for Nina. Obrecht tells Nathan that she is sorry. She didn’t want it to end like this. Valentin runs over asking where Nina is. Obrecht is so sorry. Valentin tells Maxie and Lulu to get the police and coast card. Valentin rushes into the barn. Obrecht knew that Nina was right. Maxie asks what she has done.

Curtis says that there are signs posted everywhere. Curtis thinks it be a great place to hide a prisoner. Finn needs to get to the island before all hell breaks loose.

Maxie screams Valentin’s name. Obrecht thinks that he sacrificed his life for love. Maxie will not hear that. She tries to run in. Lulu is not letting her in. Lulu will not let her get killed. Lulu needs her to wait for a firefighter. Lulu needs her to be with her children. They have to come first.

Jordan tells Michael on the phone that he has to be careful. His life depends on Nelle not finding anything out. Michael is confident that Nelle is close to getting in contact with Chase. Chase doesn’t want him getting over confident. There is no proof she will do what they think. They will never know.

Drew wonders if there is something on her mind. Nelle just finds it interesting. He is a one-man podcast. Drew has no interest in providing wisdom. Drew suggests that if she wants to commit murder she can look elsewhere.

Sonny thinks that Jason knows why he resents his father. Jason realizes he had his reasons. Sonny tells him that after Mike left them, his mother ended up with Deke. He beat the hell out of both of them. Facts haven’t changed but how he feels about that might have. He doesn’t resent him anymore. He doesn’t see the ball of rage that used to be between them. Jason knows that it used to be even harder on him. Jason knows that Sonny always was able to pick himself back up after the weight was on him. Sonny assumes the weight is gone now.

Mary Pat inquires how Carly’s visit with her lawyer was. She is one pushy lady. Carly doesn’t know who she is talking about. Mary Pat guesses she needs some more pills. Carly doesn’t want anymore. Mary Pat informs her it is doctors orders. Mary Pat knew that she shouldn’t let that woman come in here. Mary Pat thinks that Carly is finally learning.

Obrecht is standing on the docks. She remembers claiming that Peter was the only one responsible for Nathan’s death. Peter thinks he would still be alive if it weren’t for her lying to him. Curtis walks over. He thinks it is dangerous for her to be alone on the docks at night. Finn stops her from getting away.

Valentin makes his way into the room and finds Nina passed out on the ground. Valentin picks her up and leaves Peter. Lulu is on the phone and is begging for police help. Valentin gets out. Maxie doesn’t think she is breathing. Valentin gives her CPR.

Sonny knows that he is getting old and Mike is losing his memory. It is the first time he has been close since he was a little boy. Sonny can see why people liked him. He is only getting to know him. Sonny wishes he had more time with him. He knows it sounds selfish. The many reasons he doesn’t want Carly to go through what she is, is because he needs her with him. Diane walks in. Sonny asks if she saw Carly. Diane did for five minutes. It was all that was allowed. Sonny wonders how she is.

Mary Pat checks to make sure that Carly took the pills. She doesn’t think that she will have any trouble sleeping. Carly doesn’t want anymore pills. Carly wants to see Kevin. Mary Pat feels she is in good hands with Doctor Lasaris. He is a visionary who had success with cases they thought were lost causes. He has something special in store for her.

Nelle just has a morbid curiosity in crime shows. She didn’t mean any harm. Drew is sorry he doesn’t share her excitement. Michael walks back in. He cleaned up his room. Nelle cannot wait to snuggle up to her husband. Michael says they can go. They get into bed together and Michael asks if she is comfortable. He holds her. Michael is still wide awake when Nelle has fallen asleep. He moves his hand and sneaks out of bed. Nelle opens her eyes. She remembers Chase asking if she deserves a man who will love her.

Chase looks at a picture of Nelle. He remembers telling Michael to live with the choices he has had to make to go after Nelle. Nelle calls Chase up. She cannot stay married to Michael. She needs his help.

Michael walks back into the living room. Drew knows that he and Nelle have not slept together in a long time. It might take a while to get used to her. Michael hopes it never gets that far.

Diane says that Carly is in a padded room, drugged. She will talk with the judge tomorrow. Sonny wants her out. Diane thinks they are within their rights. Sonny wants solutions. Diane points out that there is another doctor involved now. Sonny asks if he can get to him. Diane believes that Margaux wants him to screw up. She would have Carly transferred to D’arkham. Force will not serve them well. Diane thinks that a lot went into her choice to put Carly where she did. She takes the blame for how it went down. Diane will ask for her to be transferred to Shadybrook if she can. Sonny tells her to make it work.

Mary Pat is tightening her straight jacket. Mary Pat thinks by the time that the new doctor is through with her she will be forever changed Mary Pat leaves her.

Valentin begs for Nina to wake up. Finn walks over and tries helping. Finn asks if Nina can hear him. Nina starts to breathe. He asks if anyone has water. Lulu does and gives it to Nina. Nina knows she has almost suffocated. Nina wonders how she got out. Maxie explains that Valentin saved her.

Jordan reads Obrecht her rights. Obrecht nods. Curtis cannot reach Finn. He took off on Obrecht’s boat to Spoon Island. Jordan will have her transferred to the station. Obrecht thinks they are wasting their time. They can tell Anna something. They are even now.

Nina asks where Peter is. Maxie doesn’t know, they haven’t seen him. Valentin thinks the smoke was so thick that he didn’t see him in there. Nina explains that Obrecht tied him up in there. She lost it completely. She went to get help. Finn wonders if Peter is still inside. Finn goes towards the entrance of the barn and looks inside.
