General Hospital Update Wednesday 5/9/18

Julian walks over to Kim and has an iced coffee for her. She hopes that he had other business in the hospital and didn’t just bring this for her. Julian wanted to bring it to her. Kim feels bad that he did but is so glad that she did.

Joss is on the phone with Oscar and asks how he is doing. Oscar is fine. She wonders if he told Drew about last night. Oscar doesn’t want to disappoint him. Joss thinks that there will be plenty of times to hang out. Oscar has to go.

Carly tries to cancel her appointment with Kevin but the receptionist has another appointment for tomorrow.

Sonny is boxing at the gym and thinks about Carly claiming that Nelle has an agenda that they haven’t figured out yet. Sonny is taking out all his anger. Michael walks over and asks if it is helping. Sonny wished it would help more.

Carly doesn’t think tomorrow works either. She will have to look at her schedule and get back to them. She hangs up. Joss walks over and asks why she is taking pulls.

Nell notices Ava wrapping a present and wonders if it is for her. Ava admits that while she was manipulated into going she still thought she should bring a gift. Ava is shocked she came into work today. Nelle thought she would come in to make her life a little bit easier. Nelle wanted to bring her something she could bring to her shower. Nelle thinks that this is what she needs. It will make Carly’s head explode.

Drew mapped out a trail for them to take. There might be some rough spots. Oscar thinks that this could take them all day. Drew packed them a lunch from Kelly’s. Oscar thinks it will be cool to have some company on a hike for once.

Julian wonders what Kim is checking on her phone. Kim is just checking the weather. Kim explains that Drew and Oscar are going on a hike and there are thunderstorms supposedly. Drew would march through five miles of bad weather. She asks what happens if he makes Oscar do the same. Julian doubts that Oscar would be dragged in five miles of rain. She cannot get involved in this. Kim reminds him that she is his mother. Julian knows but Drew is his father. This is one of those moments that she needs to trust that he will figure it out.

Michael wants to know how Carly is doing. Sonny doesn’t think she is great. Michael wants to know if he should be worried. Sonny keeps thinking that she is going to figure it out. Michael knows she is seeing Kevin but he has no idea why. Sonny admits that she has sworn she saw someone who wasn’t there and heard something that cannot be backed up. Kevin gave her some anti-anxiety medication. It has to do with Morgan. She dealt with Morgan’s grief so great and now she is crumbling. A loss like Morgan, anything can set her off again.

Carly promises she is taking care of it so she doesn’t have to worry. Joss is excited for Nelle’s baby shower. Carly moans. Joss thought she was going to give it a chance. Carly reminds her that she is going. Joss thinks she needs to work on her facial expressions. Carly doesn’t think that Nelle makes things easy. Joss wonders what Nelle did now.

Nelle needs Ava to put her name on the card. Ava asks if this is her special ink and her name will disappear. Nelle promises that everyone will know it is from her. Ava asks what it is. Nelle promises that everyone will know soon enough. Ava assumes she has no choice in this matter. Nelle doesn’t think that it is anymore of a choice than when she took pictures of Griffin’s papers. Nelle wants to know what she even planned on doing with those pictures. Ava doesn’t think it even matters now. She is blackmailing her. She will get Avery and Nelle will get Michael. Ava wants to know what she has in store for Carly.

Carly thinks that those guardianship papers were just an attempt to look good in front of Michael. Joss wonders what the issue is. Carly wans to know why everyone keeps saying that. She thinks that getting guardianship of the baby is a good thing. Joss thinks that Michael is going to make his own choices. One of them might be to get back together with Nelle. Carly wonders why she would say that. Joss ran into Nelle the other day and she said that they were making progress. Joss doesn’t think she is the devil. Carly believes that she is the closest thing. Joss reminds her that Nelle saved her life. It is her kidney inside her. She is here because of Nelle. Carly knows. Joss wonders if it would kill her to see some good inside of her. Joss thinks that Nelle could have seen the wrong she did. Joss begs her to try to see that for her. Carly would do anything for her. Joss thanks her. Joss will see her at the baby shower. Carly will.

Sonny thinks that as amazing as it was when Jason came home, in a strange way… Michael assumes he means that if it could happen with Jason then why not Morgan. Michael doesn’t think that it is rational. Sonny knows, but sometimes you cannot control the emotions that are around you. They have to be patient with Carly and wish that things get back to normal. This is only rationalizing her war with Nelle.

Nelle explains that Carly stopped over at the Quartermaine’s yesterday to help out with the baby shower. It was so fake. Ava suggests she is actually trying to build a bridge. Nelle reached out to Sonny and Carly but of course Carly took the gesture all wrong. Ava knows she would. Nelle thinks it is clear that Carly talked to a lawyer to get full custody of her child. Ava admits that unfortunately Sonny and Carly are very skilled at that. Nelle is fighting back. Ava needs to know what she is planning here. Brad walks in and Nelle wonders if Ava and Brad know each other. Brad says that Ava is her aunt-in-law. Brad explains she is about to get another little great-niece or nephew. Nelle asks if it is finalized. Brad confirms that they will be getting their child around the same time as Nelle. Ava asks if they could take their social call outside. Brad is actually here to see Ava.

Kim won’t call Drew. She will trust that she will do what is best for Oscar. Julian thinks she is doing great. Lucas walks over and asks if he could speak with Kim. He just got a copy of the ultrasound. Julian wishes he was there when him and his sister were born. He is here now though. Lucas needs Kim to take a look at a patient of his ultrasound.

Drew saw some thunderstorms on the forecast but hopefully they will miss them. Oscar stands up but cannot walk. He twisted his knee for the rehearsal for the nurse’s ball. Drew looks at the sprain. Oscar thought he could stretch it out. Drew promises they can do this another time. They have to take him to the doctor and he will have to see Kim. Oscar wants to hang for a little bit. It isn’t like his leg is broken. He just wants to talk. Drew wonders what he wants to talk about beside his knee. Oscar thinks anything like life. Oscar thinks this might be a bad idea. Drew is no expert at life, but he has been living it a lot longer than he has. Oscar knows he doesn’t remember most of it.

Kim thinks the patient looks good. Julian wants to know when the baby is born. Lucas will keep him in the loop. Lucas leaves. Kim wonders if he is ok. Julian is never better. Kim doesn’t think you ever get shot out of your kid’s life. Kim is the worst. She is here worrying about Oscar when she has an incredible relationship with Oscar. She is sorry. Julian thinks that she has every right to be protective of Oscar.

Brad was wondering if Ava still has a piece featuring a duck. Ava explains that the artist has a smaller version she could get for him. Nelle points out that it is pretty expensive. Brad assumes that there is a friend and family discount. Ava will see what she can do. Nelle asks if anyone is throwing him a shower. Brad will wait until the baby is here to do anything. Nelle is never alone but the thought that she is growing a little person inside her is a miracle. Just like his will be. Brad asks if Nelle and Michael are back together. Nelle promises that they will be soon. Brad tells her to go for it.

Michael doesn’t care if Nelle is manipulating them. She gave them a gift with the guardian papers. Sonny agrees. Michael knows that Carly has every right to hate Nelle. Sonny doesn’t think that Nelle is the problem right now. Carly assumes she is as she walks in. She thinks that is what he was going to say. Carly cannot believe this is happening right now.

Kim has such a great kid. They have been pretty good for the most part. It is a Drew thing. She so wants Oscar to have a relationship with his father. She just thinks that they are so different. Drew is a super macho guy and Oscar is not like that. Julian knows that father’s and sons are different sometimes. Kim admits that Oscar was worried about that before. Kim thinks that was in the beginning but now… Oscar already idolizes Drew. She wonders what happens if Oscar puts pressure on himself. Kim sounds crazy. Julian doesn’t think that she does.

Oscar wishes that he remembered when he was fifteen. Drew asks if he is having sex with Joss. Oscar says no. They could be though, and it be nice… Drew assumes he would like advice from his father. Drew is sorry that he doesn’t have those experiences to draw from. He wishes he did. Oscar asks if there is anyone out there who could help him get his memory back. Drew guesses that the man who initially did it could possibly do it. Oscar would love to know where he came from, but he assumes Drew would like to know who he is. Drew does but there are lots of obstacles in the way. He assumes it is time he gives things another shot.

Ava gives Brad a 20 percent discount. It would be a very nice investment for the baby. Brad loves his husband their child, but they cannot afford this. Ava says any friend of Nelle’s is a friend of hers. Brad reminds her that they are family. Nelle explains she is having boyfriend troubles. Nelle suggests that he register the painting for his shower. Sam is loaded. Brad just realized she will be drowning in loot with the Quartermaine and Corinthos family. Nelle would love Carly to just accept her. She needs to make nice with his family. Nelle thinks that his gift would be coming t her shower. The shower is at two today. Brad explains that his schedule is completely wide open. Nelle thinks it will be a shower to remember. Ava wants to know how far Nelle is taking things with Carly today. Nelle thinks by the end of the day Carly will be exposed as the raving lunatic that she is.

Carly wonders if Sonny and Michael do this a lot. Sonny was concerned. Carly is not losing it. Sonny thinks that they have to help each other. Carly is sorry. Carly shouldn’t have blown up like that. She cannot get a footing with Nelle. Carly went to the Quartermaine house yesterday and she had a civil conversation with Nelle. Michael loves her. Sonny thinks it is good she reached out. Carly doesn’t want Sonny to worry about her. Sonny thinks that is to late. Carly feels more relaxed. She is not having anymore Morgan incidents. Carly thinks his focus should be on his father. Sonny think that Carly go to Puerto Rico and deal with Kevin on the phone. That might be the best thing for her. Carly remembers that Virginia used to say that there wasn’t a problem that couldn’t be solved with an afternoon on the beach. She can only imagine what a month would do. Carly wants to do it. She kisses Sonny.

Nelle doesn’t think she did a bad job on the blanket she made her baby. Ava wants to make one thing clear. If Avery is in a line of fire then they will be out of there quickly. Nelle would never put an innocent child in danger. Just like she wouldn’t hurt an innocent young man with bipolar disorder. Nelle knows how to hurt someone with the maximum amount of pain. Nelle thinks that Carly doesn’t even know she has been haunting her. Ava asks what the hell is going on.

Michael wonders if it is weird to buy a shower present for his own baby. Joss thinks it is sweet.

Brad tells Lucas that they have been invited to Nelle’s baby shower. Lucas wonders why. Brad says she is a friend and their babies will be family. Lucas has to work. Brad thinks that he looks torn on that. He thinks his family holds on to grudges like a lifeline. Lucas points out that he forgave him. Michael and Joss walk over. He hears that the adoption is final. Joss has a gift for all three of them. She gives them each coupon books for babysitting.

Julian wants Kim to keep loving her son. He thinks that she needs to keep loving him for him. She is really good at doing that. Drew walks in with Oscar. Oscar promises everything is ok. He guesses he twisted it last night. Drew doesn’t think it looks that bad. Oscar points out that they didn’t go hiking. Drew tells Kim he is sorry. Kim knows he said he checked him out. She is sure that he has had his share of injuries. Drew promises her child is fine. Kim admits she freaked out a little. Julian hopes Oscar’s knee gets better. Julian will see Kim later. Kim thanks him for the coffee. Kim tells Oscar they are going to get x-rays. Drew needs to make a phone call. Drew calls Andre. He tells him he wants his memories back.

Michael wishes Joss good luck. Joss thinks she will need it.

Carly promises that she is going to be a great grandmother to be. Carly doubts that Sonny will ever be called gramps on her watch.

Ava wants to know how she is haunting Carly. Ava thinks if she is implicated at all, then Carly’s demons will not be the only ones unleashed. Nelle thinks between that and Sonny dealing with his father then Ava will have full custody. Nelle knows that Sonny will despise her but her child will have the most wonderful child in the world. Her babies life will be filled with nothing but job. She can count on it.
