General Hospital Update Thursday 7/20/17

Carly and Sonny walk into his living room. Carly thinks that was a generous offer. Sonny thinks it would be if money were the only thing that mattered. Carly knows his restaurant means a lot to him. So, if he doesn’t want to sell then he doesn’t have to. Sonny doesn’t want to sell but he has no choice. He has to leave all his ties to his less than legal transactions. Sonny gets a call. He tells Max to send her up. Carly asks who he is having sent up. Sonny explains Laura. He hopes that Spencer is with him. Carly doesn’t want him asking to have Valentin wacked again. Sonny opens the door for Laura. Laura is sorry to just show up but she needs their help. Spencer is missing.

Dante reads Spencer’s notes from his Hamlet script. Dante wonders if Valentin is a Shakespeare guy. Nina admits that Spencer was quoting Hamlet at Wyndemere. He is doing the play at camp. Dante thinks that would explain these notes inside here. Nina thinks that Spencer is under the impression that he is Hamlet. Valentin can explain why he has it. Dante wants to take care of one formality first. He is arresting him. He reads his writes. Valentin thinks that he is making a mistake. He has a perfectly reasonable explanation. Valentin didn’t kill Spencer and they know it.

Finn is walking around the hospital on his phone. He explains to someone that he is back now. Finn wonders if he can have the data that he needs or not. He hangs up. Lucy walks over. She is so glad to see him back at work. Finn thanks her. He believes it only takes on person to cure a disease. Lucy has good news. She has the keys to his dream house and he cannot wait to show him. She wonders where Hayden is. Finn doesn’t know and wonders what is keeping her.

Obrecht decides to look into what Hayden has been up to. She sees that Hayden was arrested for attempted murder. It was dropped though. Obrecht sees grand larceny. Released though. She sees that the woman always slithers her way out. There must be something she is missing. Hayden opens the door and asks what Obrecht is still doing here.

Dante wants to take Valentin into the interrogation room. Valentin doesn’t think that there is any need. The sooner they can get this over with the sooner they can find Spencer. Nathan is sure is his first priority. Dante tells Valentin to sit then. He wants to know how he got the notes Valentin saw Spencer in the park yesterday. He was with Laura and Kevin. Nathan wants to know what he was doing around Spencer to begin with. Valentin thought him out. Spencer has written him as the villain in his life. He was trying to make a peace offering. He wonders if he appreciated the gift. Valentin admits he didn’t like it. Spencer said he would see him buried with it. Dante wonders where Valentin’s sense of humor was when he told Charlotte that he killed Nikolas. Valentin thinks that Charlotte was hurt by Spencer. Nathan asks what happens if Spencer wins the lawsuit. He would be taking Valentin for a lot of money. Valentin feels that is a pretty big if. Dante knows that it could cause him a lot of problems. It be better for him if Spencer never sees court.

Laura explains that she dropped Charlotte off at Lulu’s. She didn’t know where else to go. No one seems to know when Spencer went missing exactly. Sonny points out that this is Spencer they are talking about. He knows that she had him worried with his driver before. Laura already called Chandler. He doesn’t know where he is. Laura thinks that Spencer has a pattern of running off but this is different. This is Valentin. Spencer has decided he wants Valentin to pay. So, he has decided to sue Valentin for wrongful death. Laura guesses it is not completely impossible. Laura admits that Alexis thinks he could win. He told Charlotte today that Valentin killed Nikolas. Sonny knows that no father wants their child to hear about their crimes. Laura admits that Valentin was furious. Sonny asks if Valentin threatened Spencer. Laura says that Valentin told Charlotte that she would never have to see Spencer again. Carly is not defending Spencer but she does think it is a huge leap to kidnap Spencer. Laura knows and if it were anyone else then she would say that he was ruthless but this happened once before. Laura begs Sonny to use his connections to help her find him.

Obrecht is downloading all her records from her years at GH. She asks if she is not allowed to take that. Hayden thinks she has had plenty of time to gather her things. Obrecht did. She will add this all to her funeral pile. Hayden thinks she has no one to blame but herself. She is lucky Finn didn’t press charges. Hayden tells her that to get out of here before she has Obrecht arrested herself.

Lucy is shocked that Obrecht actually thought that the party was for her. Even though, she got fired for faking test results. Finn knows that Obrecht has a problem. She can be a gifted physician though. Lucy believes that Obrecht has caused more than her share of pain and suffering. Obrecht and Hayden walk out. Obrecht yells that this hospital is filled with mediocrity. Obrecht thinks that Lucy should have taken advantage of her talent when she had the chance. Lucy thinks that somehow the show will go one. She says goodbye to Obrecht. Obrecht tells Finn she has no hard feelings. She sees a bright future for him and his off spring. She walks out of the room.

Sonny has his guys looking for Spencer. Laura thinks that they might need more help. He might have gone to a middle man to finish the job on Valentin. Sonny would know if he did. His people wouldn’t take that job. There are contractors who would. Sonny is going to do whatever it takes to find him. Laura knows she is putting him in a bad position. Sonny tells her that Spencer is family and he will do whatever it takes to bring him home.

Dante asks when was the last time he saw Spencer. Valentin claims it was earlier today after Spencer upset Charlotte. He could see that Charlotte was upset and asked Spencer what made it important to hurt her like that. Valentin went to his lawyers to get visitation. Then he went to the Metro Court with Charlotte which is where Dante found him. Valentin thinks that they are wasting time with him they could be looking for Spencer. Dante asks another officer to take Valentin to interrogation. Valentin is walked into the other room. Nathan is going to check on his alibi. Dante is going to check on the witness. Nathan asks Nina if she needs a lift home. He is going to go to the court house. Nina has another request. Nathan tells her that she cannot see Valentin. Every time this guy pulls her back in. Nina needs to be trusted on this. Nina walks into the interrogation room. She wants to know the truth.

At the house Lucy is showing Finn and Hayden, she wants them to imagine what a show stopper this place could be once they put in their own main touches. Finn likes the touches. Lucy tells him that he might want to put a hold on his fixing up the place until after the baby comes. Finn feels they could do this right away. He has his own tennis court. Lucy thinks their son or daughter can use it. Lucy feels that buying a house is an extremely emotional decision. Lucy wants them to take a while to see if this place works for them. She has another appointment and can come back later. Finn thanks Lucy. Lucy leaves. Finn asks what Hayden doesn’t like. Hayden doesn’t think it is the house. It is her.

Spencer doesn’t want Laura to automatically think it is Valentin. Laura wonders who else would target Spencer. Carly has been through this and it is awful. Sonny will follow up on every suspect. Laura gets a call from Dante. She asks her to come to the station as soon as possible. Carly wants her to go and they will keep her posted. Laura leaves. Sonny asks if Carly is ok with this. Carly wants him to do whatever it takes. Sonny finds it ironic that when he wants to get out of the business that someone he loves makes him come back in.

Valentin told Nina the truth. Nina heard what he said. They are alone now. Valentin wouldn’t hurt that boy. He was mad at him. He is a spoiled brat. Valentin doesn’t think he has an excuse for hurting Charlotte. He is just lucky that he didn’t inform him how Nikolas faked his death and used it to blame it on Jason. He is lucky that he doesn’t know that Nikolas is on the other side of the planet not giving Spencer a second thought. Valentin would never hurt that kid. Nina doesn’t know that. That is why she is here. Valentin knows she has a lot of people telling her how horrible he is. She gave him the courage to change. She made him the husband that she could be proud of. He asks her to tell him that she doesn’t believe in that man.

Obrecht assumes that Hayden must have helped her father with his schemes but she walked away without even a slap on the wrist. She calls her a criminal.

Finn wants to know what is wrong. This house has everything on her wish list. Finn asks if she has been here before. Hayden hasn’t been here before. It just reminds her so much of where she grew up. It just brings up old memories of the person she was. Finn doesn’t care about the past. This place has nothing but empty closets and empty rooms. If she doesn’t like the tennis court they can rip it out and put in a rose garden or whatever she wants. Finn wants to start some new memories for the two of them right here and right now. The two kiss, passionately. Finn doesn’t think this is for him. It is for Lucy. They have to make sure that everything works. Hayden and Finn start to undress each other. Finn picks Hayden up.

Carly asks if Sonny has heard any word from Max. Sonny tells her that none of his people know anything. It doesn’t shock him. Sonny thinks that Valentin is to smart to use anyone connected to him. Sonny is going to retaliate against anyone involved. There is one option. Bring Spencer home without a scratch. Joss shows up. She is crying in Carly’s hands. Joss has done something terrible and she doesn’t know how to fix it.

Nina wants to believe Valentin for Charlotte’s sake. Valentin thinks for them and what they could still be. Valentin asks if she sees a monster or the man she made him want to be.

Laura asks Dante what he wanted to see her about. Dante explains that the amber alert has been sent out but nothing has been found yet. Laura asks what she has to do. Dante needs her to confirm something Valentin said. Laura explains she was present when Charlotte told Valentin that Spencer accused him of killing Nikolas. Laura was. Laura says both kids went back to camp. Dante wonders if he threatened him. Laura doesn’t think so but he thinks the implication was there. Laura feels that Valentin kidnapped Spencer or hired someone else. The witness in the Cassadine case is here. An old woman named misses Goodwin was there today. She told anyone who would listen and no one would believe her. She saw a man drag a little boy out of the park. Dante asks if she could see pictures that she would know who it was. Dante asks if there is anyone in the pictures she recognizes.

Nina sees a man who wants to be better for Charlotte. She sees a man she believes. Valentin thanks her.

Dante wants the woman to take her time. The man might not be in the photos. Misses Goodwin points to Valentin’s photo. Laura gasps.

Obrecht thinks that Hayden has managed to bury her crimes no matter how hard she looks. She is impressed. The world is your oyster when you grow up with a silver spoon in your mouth. Obrecht realizes she is looking in all the wrong places.

Hayden thinks that Finn is really persuasive with this house. Hayden asks if he is really willing to plant a garden in place of the tennis court. Hayden doesn’t think it is about the tennis court but what it represents. Lucy walks in and asks if everything was to their liking. Finn has no complains. Hayden doesn’t think one.

Carly wants Joss to relax for a minute and take a breath. Joss explains Spencer disappeared a few hours ago. This is all her fault. She is a counselor in training. She is supposed to keep an eye on Spencer. She should have paid more attention. Sonny asks when she noticed he was gone. Joss asks if Sonny will find him. Sonny promises. Joss saw him this morning. Spencer wanted to be center stage during his big speech. Sonny asks how Spencer was grabbed. Joss doesn’t know all the details but Charlotte wanted to see Valentin so she called Laura. She was with him when Valentine showed up. Laura asks if she was happy to see him. Joss thinks she was. Sonny asks if that is when she went to find Spencer. Joss couldn’t find Spencer anywhere. Laura was worried and then the police showed up and started searching the park. She asks what happens if Spencer is just gone.

Laura knew that Valentin did this. He has got to get Valentin to tell them where Spencer is. Dante promises that he will. Dante thanks Misses Goodwin for coming in. Dante asks if Misses Goodwin was wearing her glasses in the park. She claims to always wear them because her eyes are not what they used to be. He asks if Misses Goodwin can read the sign where she is standing. Misses Goodwin cannot see the print it is too small. She would recognize that Cassadine fellow anywhere though. She follows the news. Dante assumes that she saw him on the news. Dante wants to know if she can describe the officer who brought her to him earlier. She thinks he was a little fellow with a kind smile. She came in here voluntarily. If they don’t want to believe her then she will go. Laura thinks that was a waste of time. Dante is sorry. Sometimes you get people who want to be in the news. Laura thinks Valentin did. It. Laura runs into the interrogation room demanding to know where Spencer is. Nina doesn’t think he did it. Laura will not let him go anywhere. Dante cannot hold him forever. Nathan walks over saying that the social worker didn’t talk to Valentin. Dante guesses he doesn’t have an alibi then.

Hayden is sorry. They lost track of time. Lucy has learned plenty and nothing shocks her. She asks if they saw everything they needed to see. Finn thinks they did.

Obrecht thinks there are better ways to catch a rat. Sometimes you find them in a penthouse. Obrecht finds an article involving Hayden under the name Rachel getting married to a Jarret.

Carly promises Joss that they will find Spencer. She is thoughtful. She helped the police. She feels Joss did a good thing. Sonny agrees. They will find Spencer. He promises her. Sonny means this for real. Carly kisses Joss. She wants her to wait in the car. Carly has to go with her. She doesn’t want her to be alone. Carly thanks him for being so good for her. Sonny will do whatever he has to do. Carly wants him to do whatever it takes.

Valentin was at the court house the whole time. Nathan thinks that there is time that you cannot account for. Dante tells an officer to book Valentin. Valentin tells Nina she is right about him.

Hayden loves the house. She can picture their family here. Lucy thinks that this is fantastic. She actually has the paperwork done. They should maybe make an offer right away. Finn tells her to go get them.

Obrecht calls up the Jarret man. They have a mutual acquaintance. She would rather now talk about this over the phone. It is in his interest and hers.
