General Hospital Update Tuesday 5/30/17

Jason tells Jake that this needs to end. He thinks that Elizabeth is right. It is late and everyone needs to go home. He wants Jake to pack up and go home. Jake takes out the Chimera Project. Valentin recognizes it. Jason begs him not to do anything. Jake turn it on. Anna asks Valentin if that is really the Chimera. Valentin confirms it is. Anna thought that Helena wasn’t going to use it. Valentin needs them all to get out of here. Jake demands that they all stay.

Dante is leaving Sonny a message. He had the pleasure of taking a statement from Scott. He said that Sonny was going after Ava. He is assuming it has to do with Morgan’s pills. Dante begs him not to do anything stupid.

Carly tells Ava to stop with her fake guilt. She is a horrible and evil person. She is like the bully on the playground and she picked on her child. Carly tells Ava to come and get her bitch. Ava throws a lantern on the ground. It explodes. Ava takes out a gun. She is going to shoot them if they don’t listen to what she has to say.

Nathan recognizes the picture of him from the card he made for Maxie. Nathan asks if she stole a picture for her advice column. Amy likes to use the word borrow. Nathan guesses this is what she meant by saying that he helped more than he knew. Amy feels that he should be thanking her. She has made him famous.

Anna tells them that they have to move. Valentin doesn’t think they can risk it and screams at Jake not to open that. Jason begs Jake to give him the Chimera. Helena tells Jake not to listen to him and to look at her. He needs to just look at her. Franco asks what Jake is looking at. Helena thinks that Jae knows what to do. Valentin tells Charlotte and Emma to get over by them. Emma doesn’t think that Jake wants them to leave. Anna begs her to get over. Valentin tells Charlotte to go with Nina and Lulu. Emma wants to stay. Anna tells Emma to go with Lulu and Laura. Valentin needs them to get away from this.

Lulu, Laura, Nina, Charlotte, and Emma all go into the lobby. Nina asks what just happened and wonders what that was.

Jason tells Jake that they are good. He knows they are scared but everything is good. Jake doesn’t think he can do that because she doesn’t want him too. Helena doesn’t. Elizabeth asks if Helena is here with him now. Jake confirms she is. Elizabeth needs him to listen to her. Helena tells him not to weaken. Elizabeth begs him to listen. She doesn’t have power. Jake does. He needs to give Jason the container. Helena demands that Jake open the Chimera.

Nathan has no desire to be famous and has no business giving advice to anyone. Amy believes he does. He is great at it. Nathan thinks it is false advertisement. Amy wants him to read it. Nathan asks what he helps people with. Amy thinks everything. Nathan thinks that this is all her. Nathan reads about “how to make memories on a memory foam mattress.” Amy thinks he talks about sex a lot. Nathan guesses this is the other job she was talking about at the Nurses Ball. Amy doesn’t think it is technically a job. She doesn’t get paid. She will eventually though. Amy hopes they are ok. Nathan thinks they will be once she takes down the blog.

Carly wonders if Ava is really going to do this now when the building is on fire. Ava doesn’t think there is anytime like the present. Ava thinks they are hypocrites telling her what a lousy parent she is. She wonders about them. Carly asks what about them. Ava replaced Morgan’s drugs but the fact that it got as far as it did isn’t on her. She wonders why they didn’t help him. Sonny wants to know what she is talking about. Ava heard about how Morgan became moody and depressed. He didn’t want to work at his coffee place. Instead, of trying to help they ignored it. He was falling apart. It didn’t occur to them that Morgan belonged back in an institution. Ava thought they would be there for him but they didn’t see it. Sonny isn’t going to stand here and listen to them. Sonny and Carly are leaving right now. She can shoot them in the back. Ava hopes they get out safety. Carly wants her to burn in hell. Ava tries to go out a back door but something is blocking her way.

Anna tells Jason that they don’t really know what is in there or what it could do. Helena knows that she and Jake do. She wants to give them a show. Elizabeth doesn’t think that Jake has to do things he doesn’t want to do. This is just a bad dream. She thinks she has won. Helena knows she has. She thinks that the hatred she has for everyone in this world is stronger than her love for him. Elizabeth doesn’t think she could be more wrong.

Amy thinks that Nathan is joking. Nathan doesn’t think he looks like he is joking. Amy has so many hits though. She even lined up a bunch of advertisers. They are the next big thing. Nathan thinks that using his image like this is against the law. Amy didn’t put his image on a porn site. He is just answering questions. Nathan asks why he had to do it and she couldn’t. Amy thinks that a smart blonde female is a dime a dozen. A guy who looks like him is what a woman really needs. Amy wants to help him save his marriage.

Dante gets a call from the station and asks if someone else can go and check it out. Dante asks who owns the warehouse. Dante says he will be right there and runs.

Ava screams for the door to open. She walks back down the stairs and runs towards the other exit. A block of wood starts to burn in front of the door.

Carly and Sonny try to make it out the building but there is too much smoke. Sonny thinks they need to go back. Sonny gives Carly a cloth to cover her mouth. They hear Ava screaming for help.

Charlotte wonders if Valentin is in trouble. Nina doesn’t think so. He is just trying to help. Laura explains that he saw that Jake was having a rough time. That is all. Emma asks why Jake was acting so weird. It was like he was afraid of the thing but he wanted to open it. Lulu suggests they race to the lobby doors. Lulu tells Nina that she should come with them. Nina is going to stay. She will be ok.

Elizabeth asks Jake to keep her eyes on her. Helena says that Elizabeth pretends to know what she needs but she hasn’t scratched the surface. Elizabeth knows he is strong. Helena is the one who helped him prep for his destiny. Helena wants him to release the Chimera. Elizabeth thinks that she, Jason, Franco, Sam, and his brothers all love him. Elizabeth thinks the best part of this is that he loves them too. Love is always stronger than hate. Jake nods. Helena doesn’t want him to listen to her. He needs to do what she taught him. Jake turns off the Chimera. He puts it back in the box. Anna takes it. She calls up the WSB. Elizabeth hugs Jake.

At Lulu’s house, Charlotte and Emma are in their pajamas. She explains that Valentin will be here to get her as soon as he can. That isn’t tonight though so another sleepover isn’t a bad thing. Emma still doesn’t understand what was wrong with Jake. Charlotte thought it was a magic show. Elizabeth assumes Jake was trying to keep them in suspense. Lulu bought more of the cookies for her next visit. They are in the kitchen. Charlotte asks if Emma wants some. Emma says yes and they go into the kitchen. Lulu asks what was in the canister. Laura doesn’t know but they shouldn’t have anyone else they love in that building. Lulu just hopes everyone is ok. Laura thinks that no news is good news. Lulu wonders if Helena could have really had something to do with this. Laura does but they don’t have to worry about this. They are home in Port Charles surrounded by family.

Elizabeth thinks that Jake is so strong. Jake tells Jason he is sorry. Jason doesn’t think any of this was his fault. He loves him. The two hug each other. Nina walks in and asks Valentin what is going on. Valentin told her to leave the building. Nina wants to know what is happening. Valentin says the threat was neutralized for now. Nina asks what that threat was. Valentin explains that it is called the Chimera and he had information that Anna’s sister wanted. Alex chasing him was because of this. Nina is glad it is over. Valentin doesn’t think it can be over until the canister is destroyed. Anna tells Jake that he is a brave boy. Jason is very proud of him. Franco tells Elizabeth she is brave. Elizabeth was scared. Jason thanks Elizabeth. Elizabeth wants to take Jake into the hospital to check him out. Jason thinks that is fine. He wonders if she can take him without him. He has some work to finish up here. Elizabeth asks what kind of work. Jason needs to make sure that Helena has no more surprises. Jason will check in with Jake later. Elizabeth and Franco take Jake out of the room. Anna needs the area sealed off so they can get this out. Nina will call the police and security. Nina looks at Anna with bitterness.

Nina calls the police reporting the situation. Someone walks over to her with a gun. He tells her that her call just dropped.

Nathan feels his marriage is just fine. Amy reminds him that he just said his marriage was on life support. He was worried about her and her ex. Amy isn’t sure why they live across the country from one another. Nathan thinks they will be fine. Amy needs to get to the hospital.

Ava is standing in the middle of the fire. She begs for help. She needs help.

Sonny doesn’t think they can help her. If they help her then they will all die. Sonny promises that they will get through this together.

Ava is passed out as the fire continues.

Carly and Sonny manage to make it out. Carly takes Sonny’s phone. She tells 911 that there is a fire going on and they need to hurry. Carly says that the fire was already reported and they shouldn’t go inside under any circumstance.

Elizabeth asks why this exam feels like it is taking forever. Franco promises that Jake should be just fine. Elizabeth cannot help but think about how close things go. Something inside of her took over. Franco kisses her.

Amy tells Nathan that she needs to change into her scrubs. She asks if they can drop this. Nathan will not do that until she changes the photo. Amy doesn’t think that there are other guys who look like him. Amy thinks that it has to do be him. Amy sees Elizabeth and asks what happened at the Nurses Ball. Franco will tell him them but they will not believe it.

Two people walk in holding Nina hostage. Jason asks if they are friends of Nina’s. Nina doesn’t think so. The men want the box. Jason doesn’t have the box.

Anna asks Valentin what he is doing. She asks if he is going to steal the Chimera again and sell it to the highest bidder. Valentin did that thirty years ago. He knows it was a bad mistake to do that but he knows she has regrets. Anna does. Robin almost dealt with her stupid choices the way she did tonight. Valentin tells her that she doesn’t have a price tag on her head like he does. She didn’t have surgeries to save up for. Anna was young and did it for money. Anna tells him he is in possession of a classified weapon. It has to be destroyed. Valentin is going to do so. Anna knows mistakes were made. Valentin doesn’t think that they can make those mistakes again. His daughter could have died. Anna wants to make sure that it doesn’t happen again. Valentin knows that this is going to get locked in a vault again. Anna knows the Chimera was a mistake. The WSB wants it destroyed. Anna wants him to be done with it. Valentin thinks that this is his past coming back to haunt him. He knows that there is a Chimera with her name on it somewhere out there. He asks what will happen when it shows the light of day. He asks if she will trust it to an organization that has failed her over and over again. Anna wants him to trust her. He gets a phone call. It is from Nina. Nina says that there is a man pointing a gun to her. He wants the Chimera. Valentin says that someone wants the Chimera and is pointing a gun to Nina. Anna thinks he knows what he has to do.

Laura is playing charades with Lulu, Emma, and Charlotte. Lulu guesses right. Lulu thinks they are playing it by themselves. Laura asks if Charlotte wants a chance. Charlotte wants to be with Valentin. Emma doesn’t think that Lulu is telling them the truth. Lulu isn’t really sure what is happening in the ballroom. She is sure that Valentin and Anna can handle what is happening in that room. Emma agrees.

Dante asks if Sonny and Carly are ok. Sonny says they are fine. Dante asks where Ava is. Carly says she is still inside. Sonny tells him that she started the fire. She got angry and threw a lamp at Carly. They thought she took a different exit out. Sonny says that their hands are clean on this. Dante hopes so because if anything happened to Ava then there will be a lot of questions.

Valentin walks in and tells the spies to let Nina go. He has what they want. They give him Nina in exchange for the box. They open the box but nothing is in it. Valentin tells Nina to run. Jason starts to beat up the spies. Valentin joins in.

Nathan finds Nina in the hallway.

Carly tells Sonny she is fine. Sonny knows she had a lot of smoke. Carly is fine though. She isn’t smoking anymore. They carry Ava out. They need to get her to the hospital as soon as possible. Carly is glad she got out. Now it is up to the doctors. Sonny wants to take Carly home. Dante needs them to come down to the station. Sonny already told him what happened. Dante heard an abbreviated version not on the record.

Amy tells Elizabeth and Franco that Jake is doing great. So great that they want him to stay over night to show all the other kids how it is done. She will be back in a little bit. Elizabeth sits down. Franco thinks he was brave today. Franco thinks it takes a lot of courage to face the demons in your head. Jake asks if Helena isn’t coming back. Franco doesn’t think so. Jake isn’t tired. Elizabeth just wants him to close his eyes and rest. She will be right here. Jake goes to sleep.

Anna tells an agent that she needs to make sure the Chimera is taken care of once and for all.

Nina isn’t going anywhere. Nathan tells her to get out of there. Shots go off and Nina walks in. she sees that Valentin has been shot.
