General Hospital Update Friday 2/17/17

Julian wants to explain something to his sister Olivia. She wants him to get her General Hospital. He won’t do it if she continues to threaten the people he loves.

At GH Jason explains to Sam that the good news is that all the charges involving Sonny have been dropped. Sam knows that Ava is in custody though. Jason knows. Part of him wants to let this go because she did kill Connie. Sam knows that whoever killed Morgan is still out there though. Sam thinks that she and the baby can keep a little distraction for him for an hour at least. Jason thinks that is possible. They go to their child birthing class but it has been canceled.

Elizabeth is cleaning up and she finds a piece of paper that says “No justice, no peace. Fight the power!” Elizabeth gets out her phone and texts Franco good luck.

Kiki feeds Dillon ice cream. They start to kiss again. Franco walks in and starts screaming in anger. He believes that without art there is no life. Kiki wonders what he is doing home. She thought he was sick. Franco was but then he went down to GH to gather intel. For the nurses. It was sort of like being James Bond for the cause. Kiki asks what happened. Franco got fired.

At the Quartermaine mansion Olivia thinks that this has been a wonderful Valentine’s day. She thinks maybe her favorite of all time. Ned hopes that the day isn’t over yet. He wonders of she feels about spending the night. Olivia thanks him but she cannot. Olivia doesn’t feel comfortable by his family. She is just a visitor here. Ned considers her and Leo apart of the family so he is welcoming her here. Tracy walks in. She is calling an official family meeting. Ned asks if it is tonight. Tracy wants Ned to stay exactly where he is and Olivia can leave.

Griffin assumes that Finn doesn’t like Anna’s test results. Finn doesn’t. The condition is extremely rare. He wanted to make a diagnosis to be absolutely sure.

Valentin promises Anna that she is safe with him. Nina walks out sad. Anna wakes up. She wonders what is happening. Valentin promises that the doctors are taking very good care of her. Anna asks why he is here. Valentin was worried about her. Anna doesn’t want him to be. She is fine. He needs to leave. Valentin will go. He wants her to get rest. He leaves.

Valentin finds Nina in the lobby. He asks what she is doing here. Nina saw him holding Anna’s hand. She wants to know what he is doing with her.

Ned reminds Tracy that it is Valentine’s day. He has plans with Olivia. Tracy is perfectly happy with knowing nothing about them. This needs to be brought to the family’s importance immediately. Ned doesn’t want Olivia going anywhere. Tracy reminds him that family meetings are not open to outsiders. Ned doesn’t think that Olivia is an outsider. Olivia can just go. Ned already told her she isn’t an outsider. She needs to acknowledge that. If she wants him to be in this meeting, then Olivia needs to be there too. Tracy says fine. She will go find Dillon. Olivia would be more than happy to sit this out. Ned doesn’t blame her. He wishes he could sit it out as well. He wants her here though. He isn’t ready for the night to end.

Sam asks someone why the childbirth class was canceled. The man explains that the nurse who teaches it called in sick. Sam doesn’t think that Epiphany just gets sick. She hopes that she is ok. The guy doesn’t want her to hear it from him but the nursing staff are in danger of losing their jobs. They are staging a sickout in the process. Sam thinks that is a little crazy. Jason gets a call. It is Michael. He asks what is up. Michael feels that he may regret picking up. Tracy called a family meeting. Jason thinks this is a bad time. Michael knows that he hates being called into Quartermaine business but Tracy might be on to something big. He could use backup. Jason will see what he can do. Jason tells Sam that Tracy has called an emergency family meeting and Michael needs him. Sam thinks that if it is important then he should be there. Sam is going to go get some BBQ. Jason will meet her there.

Dillon isn’t sure why they got dressed. It doesn’t seem that Franco figured out what they were doing. Kiki agrees that he seemed pretty preoccupied. Dillon gets a call. Tracy wants him to come to the house right now. He has a Quartermaine emergency and he has been summoned. Dillon tells her it sounded urgent. He gets a text. It seems like it is life or death.

Julian thinks the point of this is that Olivia doesn’t need to keep threatening his family. She can get what she wants. The hospital is in chaos. It is only a matter of time before it will be sold. Olivia asks why he is giving her an ultimatum then. Julian wants assurance that when she is finished with him that she is finished period.

Alexis thinks that Valentine’s day is pointless and stupid. Alexis has someone ring her door bell. She has some who sent her flowers. She grabs them and tips the delivery man. She looks at the note. It says it is from Julian.

Nina got the text that he was at the hospital. She thought something had happened to him or Charlotte. Then she walks in he is sitting with Anna. Valentin got interrupted. Nina was scared. He wants to take her some place private. He can take her back to the Metro Court and they can talk. They walk into the Elevator where an orderly holding flowers walks out. Valentin takes one as the door closes on them.

Finn knows that this might seem personal for Griffin but until they have more information they need to not risk jumping to conclusions. Griffin agrees. Finn wants to explain to Anna what the next steps are. Griffin asks if he is sure he is alright to do this. Finn is better than alright. He lives to do this. He has the power to heal. He lives for the opportunity to use it. Griffin knows he will give Anna the best possible care. Griffin and Finn walk into her room. Anna feels a bit better. Anna asks when she can get out of here. Finn is afraid that they will have to keep her overnight. Anna asks what the tests show.

Julian has done everything that Olivia wanted. Once the hospital is done he is finished. He doesn’t want to see or hear from her again. Olivia guesses that he has her word. If he gets her GH then she will. Julian thanks her. Olivia doesn’t want him to thank. He hasn’t held up his end of the deal yet.

In their hotel room Valentin offers to pour some champagne. Nina will have some if it comes with an explanation. Valentin was very much looking forward to their Valentine’s celebration. He dropped Charlotte off at Misses Evans. He realized that he had forgotten something very important. He got back to the house and Anna was there. Nina asks why she was breaking in. Valentin doesn’t know. She passed out. He couldn’t wake her so he picked her up and carried her to the hospital. Nina points out that he could called an ambulance. She thinks he is a decent man to be so kind to someone who has been so horrible to him. Valentin is over whatever was wrong with them. He doesn’t understand why Anna will not let it go. Nina thinks that Anna claims it is the other way around.

Finn tells Anna that she has a blood clot. They caught it before it did any more damage. They will get her blood thinners to help her. Griffin wants to find out what caused the clot. Anna asks how they do that. Finn wants to start with the headaches she has had lately. Anna just has been having them for a few months. He asks if she ever feels flushed or if her skin itches. Anna does after a shower. She just assumed it was the bath gel. Finn wants to do a full body diagnosis.

Franco walks out from his room. He asks if Dillon is gone. Kiki notes that he had a family meeting. Franco asks if he interrupted something. Kiki guesses that he did notice. Franco thinks that she is practically his daughter. It is sort of hard to ignore. She knows that he said he was fired. Franco was. They are making cuts at the hospital Apparently, there is no room in the budget for an art therapy program. Kiki saw that the nurses were staging a sickout. Franco tells her that it is making Elizabeth crazy to have to stay away from patients. She really needs to make a stand. Kiki wants to know why he isn’t at Elizabeth’s telling her that he lost his job. Franco cannot tell her that he got fired.

Monica asks what this meeting is about. Tracy tells her that they are not all here yet. Dillon walks in and says he is here. Tracy is glad. Dillon sped the whole way. He wants to know what is going on. Tracy is only going to explain this once so they have to wait for Michael and Jason if he chooses to appear.

In the hallway of the mansion Michael thanks Jason for coming. Jason thinks that Michael is the only person who could get him here. Michael wants to talk to him about Ava quickly. The police arrested her for the bomb that killed Ava. Carly said that he isn’t convinced. Jason isn’t. He is the one who turned her in though. If she has to spend a few weeks in lockup then it is probably well deserved. Michael asks if he thinks that she killed Morgan. Jason doesn’t know. A lot of the evidence does point to her. Tracy walks out and informs them that they are waiting. They walk into the living room. Tracy has rounded them all up. Monica thanks Jason for coming. Dillon asks if they can begin. Tracy isn’t the one who kept them all waiting. Ned wants to knock if she wants to bicker or tell everyone what this meeting is about. Tracy explains that GH is in danger of being sold and turned into condos. Monica thinks that as upsetting as that is, it is old news. Tracy tells them that if something isn’t down quickly the hospital will close. Dillon knows what the hospital means to her but he asks what they can possibly do. Tracy is glad he asked her. ELQ is going to buy the hospital.

Alexis reads the letter. It says that a day doesn’t go by that he doesn’t try to make her happy. Alexis thinks of her wedding to him. Someone else rings the doorbell. She opens it and it is Julian. Julian is sorry to drop by but he needs to see her. He wanted to give her something. Alexis thinks that she already got them. Julian sees. Julian asks if she remembers the last time she carried these flowers. Alexis does. She doesn’t understand why he sent them. Julian reminds her that it is Valentine’s day. Alexis isn’t going to just forget everything he has done to her. Julian doesn’t think she will forget. He doesn’t expect her too. Alexis wonders why he is here then. Julian knows that she wanted an explanation as to everything that happened. Julian has one for her.

Kiki thinks that Franco should tell Elizabeth he was fired. She will understand. Franco doesn’t know about that. He hates the thought of disappointing her. Especially, when their relationship is on a new level. They are very much together. He gets a text wishing him good luck from Elizabeth. Franco wonders how he can tell her that he is unemployed. Kiki thinks that Elizabeth isn’t with him just because of the job. Kiki feels that you have to take the good and the bad when it comes to love.

Sam walks into Elizabeth’s house with a giant box. She is dropping off Jake’s science project. Elizabeth thanks her. She and Jason had child birth class but it was canceled. Elizabeth assumes it was because of the sick-out. Sam was just hoping to get a refresher course. Elizabeth hates that she is being affected because of their strike. Sam doesn’t want her to worry. She has a right to fight. Sam doesn’t know where to go to have the baby when the hospital is so understaffed. She asks if she should be making other plans.

Tracy hands them all papers. She tells them that ELQ is going to buy GH and the Quartermaine family is going to run it. Michael thinks that there is a huge difference between being on the board and running a hospital. Tracy understands but as luck would have it, they have two board members and the chief of staff right here in this room. She asks if they are in. Ned wonders how Michael feels being CEO as he is about this. Michael thinks that they have enough liquid capitol that it is doable. If it is the only way to save the hospital, then he thinks that they should move forward. Dillon wonders if Tracy is sure that the board members will be alright with them taking over a non-profit hospital. Tracy thinks that they have to smooth some ruffled feathers. It isn’t anything they haven’t done before. She is sure that they will be able to keep things going. Jason thinks that the hospital will not be able to take uninsured patients which means that people will be turned away at the door. Dillon doesn’t think that is right. Michael sees that the board could also end up back on the chopping block. Tracy feels that they should be able to come up with a way to save the hospital. Olivia believes that she has overlooked something. Tracy wants to know who asked her. Ned did. He asks what they overlooked. Olivia thinks that if ELQ cannot buy the hospital then the Quartermaine’s could buy it themselves.

Anna would like to know if a bone marrow biopsy is really necessary. Finn thinks that it will be over quickly. He will be able to tell her what they are dealing with. Griffin can be there for her if she wants. Anna will stay then. Finn thanks her. He leaves.

In the lobby, Finn starts to shake again.

Valentin is sorry that Nina worried about him. He hopes that she is able to forgive him. Nina doesn’t think that she can fault him for being a good Samaritan. It is one of the reasons she loves him. Valentin never told her why he went back. He takes out the ring. Nina thinks that is beautiful. Valentin thinks that they have done everything in reverse. They exchanged wedding rings before she even had a proper engagement ring. He asks if she will do him the honor of wearing the ring. Nina will. Valentin asks if she will continue to be his wife. Nina will.

Julian hands Alexis a key. She asks what it is. Julian explains that it is a key to a safety deposit box at the bank. He updated his will. The most recent copy is in there along with an explanation of what happened. Alexis thinks that it sounds like he is getting his affairs in order. She asks why. She wonders what is going on.

Elizabeth believes that the nurses want to get back to work. They are only staging this to make sure that they can keep their jobs. Hopefully, this will all be settled long before she goes into labor. Sam is glad. She wouldn’t want to have her baby anywhere else. Someone rings the doorbell. It is Franco. She wonders what he is doing here. She thought he would be at work. Franco needs to speak to her about that. He didn’t realize that she had company. Sam was just leaving. She leaves. Elizabeth wants to know how the spying went. Franco has something to tell her but it isn’t good.

Olivia knows that the Quartermaine’s are one of the most respected family’s in town. It isn’t just because they are one of the wealthiest. It is because when the chips are down they do what is right. Monica believes that they are talking about a lot of money. Michael thinks he could use some of the money that he was planning on putting towards AJ’s clinic. He would still be helping the sick. Dillon could liquidate his trust fund. Ned could sell L&B records. Olivia know that is his baby. Ned has other assets. Monica can contribute what she has. Tracy wonders what they think Edward would say. Jason is sure that Edward would have said it was a worthy cause after Lila reminded him. Jason has to meet Sam. His vote is yes. He leaves. Ned asks what she says. Tracy says that they start crunching numbers.

Finn is working and someone says hello to him. Finn thanks Ricardo for being here. He looks at him. He sees that he left pills to be distributed. He grabs one of them.

Griffin was terrified that Valentin had done something to Anna. Anna doesn’t think so. He caught her breaking in. Griffin asks why she did it. Anna wanted to bug him. Whether the man has a grudge against her or not.

Nina and Valentin kiss. Valentin loves her. He didn’t expect her to change everything. He loves her. Valentin knows that she should say what he just said but she is afraid. Not of him but of her feelings for him. Every time, she says that in the past she loses someone. Valentin doesn’t think that will happen. The two kiss passionately. He undresses her as the go on the bed.

Elizabeth is baffled that Franco was fired. Franco guesses that they cut the entire art therapy program. He won’t be able to spy for them. Elizabeth doesn’t care about that. She is shocked that the hospital would let him go. Art therapy can be very valuable. It helped Jake and she knows how much he enjoyed doing it. He guesses it wasn’t meant to be. Elizabeth thinks that they can find a way to save all of their jobs. Franco thinks it feels like a long shot. Elizabeth guesses that they can make it work.

Alexis wants to know what is going on. She asks if someone is threatening Julian. He claims that it is all in the letter. Alexis doesn’t want to read a letter. She wants to hear the truth right now.

Ned looks at a paper and doesn’t think that it is ok. Tracy rights down another number. Olivia has assets too. Tracy knows she isn’t afraid to use them either. Ned thinks that they will have enough money on their own. Tracy guesses that they are on their way to owning GH.

At the Floating Rib Sam asks how it went. Jason explains it was still going when he left. He just wishes that he could figure out who is in the picture with Julian. If it isn’t Ava then who could it be. Olivia is listening from behind. Jason is going to wash up. He wants her to order the usual. He walks into the bathroom. Sam gets out her phone. She looks up Olivia Jerome. She sees a blurry picture of a dead woman.

Elizabeth thinks that it affects the two of them. They are both affected by this. The two kiss each other. Franco thinks that the one good thing about this is they get to spend more time together. Elizabeth wouldn’t mind that. They need a miracle to save the hospital.

Ned thinks that Olivia is a genius. Olivia hopes that it works. Ned is sorry that things didn’t end as romantically as she would have hoped. The two kiss.

Dillon is just calling to let Kiki know that he is significantly less wealthy than when he left her. Kiki wonders how much less. Ned hopes that she enjoyed donuts and coffee. Kiki enjoys coffee.

Monica is really happy that they are going to save GH from the chopping block. Tracy wonders if that was a thank you. Monica wonders if that is what she wanted to hear. If it is then that is all she is going to get.

Dillon has to say that he is impressed with how Ned stood up to Tray about Olivia. Ned knows that Tracy said that Olivia wasn’t family. He realized that she was. He intends to make sure that she always is.

Jason comes back to the table. He asks what she is doing. Sam was just looking to reschedule their birthing class. Jason has to go do something. Sam kisses him. Olivia walks out of the bar.

Julian needs Alexis to trust him when he says that he cannot tell her. Alexis doesn’t trust him and he is scaring her off. She asks if he is about to be arrested. Julian is doing this because he loves her. Julian left instructions as to when she cannot access the letter. Alexis doesn’t understand him. Julian wishes her a happy Valentine’s day. He leaves. Alexis looks at the key.

Nina wasn’t able to put on the gift she got for Valentin. He swept her off her feet and they missed the step. Nina purposely got a suite that had a tub for two. She will run the water. Valentin gets out his phone. He calls GH looking to check the condition of Anna.

Griffin doesn’t want Anna to worry. Anna knows. Griffin wants her to rest. He leaves and turns off the lights. In the hallways Griffin looks scared. He gets out his phone and makes a call to Robin. He wants her to call back as soon as she gets this. It is about Anna. Back in the room, Anna tells herself that they will come back and says she is fine.

Finn is working. Griffin wanted to thank him. Finn wonders what for. Griffin thinks he was great with Anna. He is glad that Anna is in his care. She means a lot to him. Griffin will do what he can. Griffin thinks that they were right in not telling Anna that she might have cancer.

Alone in her hospital bed, Anna cries.
