Days of Our Lives Update Wednesday 11/4/20

Allie sits at home with Henry and comments that the only reason he's on this earth is because of what his father did to her that night. Nicole comes in and greets her. Nicole notes that Allie wasn't home when she and the kids went to bed last night. Allie quickly assures she wasn't out partying. Nicole says she was just asking. Allie apologizes for snapping at her. Nicole asks where she did go. Allie tells her that she took a walk along the river to think. Nicole asks if something happened. Allie informs her that the DNA test results came back and reveals that it was a match with Tripp.

Steve sits at home. Tripp comes in and greets him. Steve asks if he got any sleep. Tripp says none. Steve says he didn't either. Tripp doesn't get it as there's no way he could be Henry's father so the test results have to be wrong.

Kayla is at the hospital with the DNA test results. Abe arrives and tells Kayla that he's so glad she is okay after the whole prison break ordeal. Abe then notes that Kayla looks a little upset. Kayla claims she's just thinking about another patient. Abe asks about Eli. Kayla says he had a good night so she told Lani that she can take him home as soon as he's cleared. Kayla tells Abe that he can look in on him now.

Lani goes to Eli's hospital room to surprise him with donuts but finds that Eli is gone from the room.

Eli shows up at Brady's door at the Salem Inn. Brady questions what he thinks he's doing here. Eli responds that they need to have a little talk.

Lani wonders where Eli is or if he's having tests done. Lani then finds that Eli changed clothes and pulls out her phone.

Brady tells Eli that he's not in the mood to deal with him right now. Eli informs him that he just dragged himself out of a hospital bed so he doesn't give a damn about his mood. Brady asks who put him in a hospital bed. Eli informs him that Ben knocked him out at the police station. Brady jokes that he'll thank Ben for that. Eli knows Brady is upset. Brady clarifies that what Eli did made him way beyond upset. Eli ignores Lani's call. Brady asks if he has any idea what it's like to see the mother of his child say goodbye to her daughter because she's being hauled off to prison for five years. Brady says that's because of what Eli did so he's beyond upset, he's devastated and pissed. Rachel wakes up crying so Brady goes to take care of her.

Nicole questions the test proving that Allie was telling the truth and Tripp was lying which Allie confirms. Nicole points out that's the result Allie wanted so she asks why she looks so unhappy.

Steve tells Tripp that he and Kayla heard what Tripp he said about how getting his DNA off the toothbrush could mess with the results. Steve adds that Kayla is willing to do the test again and says there is no other explanation. Tripp suggests the test was tampered with. Steve admits that's happened in this town before and that Allie could've learned the black art of switching test results from Sami but questions what good that would do her. Steve adds that Kayla will personally supervise the test and not let the samples out of her sight until they get the answers they need.

Lani leaves Eli a message to call her back as she's really worried about him. Abe then enters the room and asks where Eli is. Lani says his clothes and phone are gone and he's not picking up. Abe questions him just walking away. Lani wonders why and where he would go.

Brady gets Rachel back to sleep and warns Eli that he's lucky she went back to sleep so easily. Brady says he was awake most of the night, thinking about what Eli did. Brady brings up that he and Kristen got a lawyer to try to get Kristen off until Eli came around to convince her to toss her chance away. Eli brings up Kristen pushing Haley down the stairs and Melinda wanting someone to pay. Brady argues that Eli could've gone to others. Eli mentions Lani trying to get Abe to fire Melinda but Brady argues that Eli doesn't care about him, Kristen, or Rachel. Brady questions why Eli had to arrest Kristen in the first place when Lani begged him not to. Eli argues that Kristen is not an innocent victim since she stabbed Victor. Brady argues that they know that's because Victor let her think her daughter was dead for a year. Eli feels awful about what happened. Brady thinks Eli just came over to help him ease his conscience and that won't happen because he doesn't think what he did was okay. Eli responds that he didn't come to be let off the hook. Brady asks what he wants. Eli says he came to make sure Brady isn't going to tell Lani what he did.

Allie thought she would be relieved when the test results proved that she was right about what happened but now she feels sad about the whole thing. Nicole tells her that now everyone knows she wasn't trying to smear Tripp as he did what she said he did. Allie brings up that Tripp kept insisting that the results had to be wrong. Allie thought he would take responsibility but he's still acting like she's lying and he's the victim. Nicole feels that doesn't make any sense. Allie informs her that Tripp is making Kayla run the test again because he can't admit what he did, even when the proof is right in front of him.

Tripp tells Steve that he has to go. Steve wants him to stay for breakfast. Tripp doesn't want to run in to Kayla since she thinks he's a rapist. Steve informs him that she already left for work and encourages that Kayla wants to believe in him like he does. Tripp admits he did some bad stuff when he first came to town and brings up what he did to Kayla. Steve understands he was very troubled back then because of his childhood and what happened to his mom but Kayla has been in his corner ever since then. Steve assures that Kayla is happy that Tripp decided to come back. Tripp questions if she still is. Kayla then comes home. Steve questions what she's doing back so early. Kayla reveals that she got the new test results back so she wanted to deliver them in person. Steve asks what they say.

At the Kiriakis Mansion, Justin looks at a photo of Adrienne and says she missed a pretty harrowing night last night, but at least Orpheus is back in prison where he belongs. There's a knock at the door and Bonnie arrives. Bonnie comments that he looks like he's just seen a ghost.

Nicole asks Allie why Kayla agreed to a second DNA test. Allie says that Tripp keeps insisting there's no way he could have got her pregnant. Nicole comments that it seems like Tripp is in denial. Nicole adds that Tripp being her rapist will blow away his dreams of med school and after the second test, he will have to own up to what he did.

Kayla explains that she ran the test three times with the old samples and the new ones and they all came back positive. Kayla confirms that Tripp and Henry are definitely a match and the only other person who could produce that DNA is Steve and obviously it's not him. Tripp argues that it's not possible as he swears to God that he did not have sex with Allie. Kayla responds that tests don't lie so she guesses that Tripp does.

Lani returns to Eli's hospital room and informs Abe that nobody at the nurses station saw Eli so maybe he slipped out during the shift change. Lani wonders where Eli would go since he promised this time they would tell each other everything. Abe wonders if he could be disoriented from his head injury. Lani admits she didn't even think of that and worries that Eli could be out there wandering away. Abe decides to call the police station to put out an APB. Lani forgot that she and Eli put phone trackers on their phones since he's been protective of her while she's pregnant. Lani admits she thought it was ridiculous at first but not now. Lani finds out Eli is at the Salem Inn and wonders why he would go there.

Brady questions Eli coming to make sure he keeps his mouth shut and asks if he's threatening him. Eli says he's just making sure they are on the same page. Brady asks if he wants it written in blood since he doesn't think he's sacrificed enough. Eli assures that he appreciates everything Brady has done. Eli admits he had a nightmare last night and woke up in a panic. Eli tells Brady that the dream felt real and it was about Lani finding out that he taped Kristen's confession and leaving him. Eli wants Brady to reassure him but Brady admits he's leaning towards making that dream come true.

Bonnie asks Justin what happened. Justin tells her that he was just thinking about Adrienne. Bonnie asks if he wants her to go but Justin says it's okay and asks what he can do for her. Bonnie says she wanted to talk to him about the donation she made to Sonny's foundation in Adrienne's name. Justin says he was very touched by that and knows how much of a sacrifice that was for her. Bonnie says she owed it to Adrienne and she also asked if Justin could think about forgiving her before Steve marched in. Bonnie adds that she's here to hopefully, finally, get her answer.

Tripp feels like he's going crazy because he knows nothing happened between he and Allie. Kayla states that science doesn't lie. Tripp argues that something isn't right because he's not lying either. Steve asks Tripp if it's possible that he's not remembering everything that happened that night. Tripp says he had a couple of drinks but he was not drunk. Steve asks if someone could've slipped something into his drinks. Tripp insists that he remembers every second of that night. Tripp says if he was going to lie, he wouldn't be saying it didn't happen since it'd be easy to prove he's lying. Kayla questions why he resisted the DNA test. Tripp argues that he would've come around eventually but he was mad and hurt that she didn't believe him. Tripp says he had just come back to his family and they seemed so happy that he was back. Tripp adds that he was going to finish medical school here in Salem and he finally felt like he was totally on the right track but then this horrible accusation happened and everything was suddenly threatened. Tripp insists he has never in his life forced himself on a woman and the thought makes him sick. Tripp swears he's not like that. Kayla tells him how much she wants to believe him. Kayla says she's sorry and she has to get back to the hospital so she exits. Tripp cries that this can't be happening. Steve tells him that it is. Tripp brings up the way Kayla was looking at him and says that she thinks he's a rapist. Tripp questions Steve not saying anything and if he's starting to think the same thing.

Allie wonders what happens next if the new test says the same thing. Nicole says that proves Allie has a case against Tripp so she will get her a lawyer. Allie questions going back to London to open a case and argues that Tripp will get a lawyer to so he can fight this every step of the way. Nicole points out that Allie has the facts on her side. Allie didn't realize how hard this would be and talks about having to tell the court how stupid she was to get so drunk that she couldn't remember her own rape. Nicole insists that she did nothing wrong. Allie then gets a call from Kayla, who informs her that the test results are in so she asks her to come to her office so they can talk. Allie says she's on her way and hangs up.

Eli questions Brady saying he's going to make his dream come true when he swore. Brady argues that he has nothing to lose now since Kristen's already in prison while he and Rachel spent their first night alone with Kristen in a cell. Brady says Eli may have had a nightmare but he, Rachel, and Kristen are going to be living a nightmare for the next five years. Brady tells Eli that spilling his guts will keep him out of his life. Eli warns that if Brady busts up his marriage, Kristen will find out. Brady responds that he doesn't give a damn about his marriage and he thinks Lani deserves to know what he did to her best friend. Lani then knocks on the door, asking if Eli is inside.

Justin notes that his forgiveness seems to mean a lot to Bonnie which she confirms. Bonnie says that it's because she has so much respect for him. Bonnie adds that she really wants to be a better person and make amends so Justin forgiving her would mean the world to her. Justin admits he's been impressed by what she's doing to become a better person. Bonnie promises to do much more. Bonnie states that Justin is the first guy to ever treat her like a friend. Bonnie feels she screwed that up like she does with everything. Bonnie adds that she has never given to charity in her life so it went against everything inside her to give up her settlement check because that money would have changed her life. Bonnie admits she didn't mind giving it all up because it was the right thing to do and it honored Adrienne and made Justin happy. Bonnie says she felt good about herself for the first time in a long time. Bonnie repeats that the main thing is that it made Justin happy and she didn't do it to bribe him into forgiving her. Justin tells Bonnie that she has his forgiveness. Bonnie is thrilled and tries to hug him but Justin stops her. Justin reveals to her that today is he and Adrienne's anniversary.

Steve tells Tripp that he wants to believe him. Tripp questions him not believing him. Tripp brings up Steve going behind his back to help Kayla get his DNA sample without even telling him. Steve argues that he did that to prove he couldn't be the baby's father. Steve asks Tripp to look him in the eye and swear him that his version of what happened that night is the absolute truth. Tripp swears on his life that he never slept with Allie. Steve declares that if Tripp is telling him the truth, they will get to the bottom of this. Steve tells Tripp to just leave it to him.

Nicole and Allie go to Kayla's office with Henry. Kayla apologizes for dragging them down here since she could've called with the results but she assumed they want a copy. Kayla reveals that the second test confirms conclusively that Tripp and Henry share DNA. Allie asks if Kayla believes her now. Kayla responds that she always did and only questioned the accuracy of her memory. Kayla reminds Allie that she's a survivor too so she knows the courage it takes to come forward. Allie thanks her for saying that. Nicole points out that now Allie knows. Kayla says the question is what she wants to do next.

Lani continues knocking on Brady's door, asking if anyone is there. Brady tells Eli that she's not going away. Eli pleads with Brady not to tell her because it won't change anything for Kristen now. Eli asks if Lani finding out will make Brady happy. Brady then answers the door and apologizes to Lani for taking so long. Lani comes in and tells Eli that she's been so worried about him. Eli says he's fine. Lani says she had to use an app to track him down and she can't imagine why he's here. Lani asks if Eli is going to tell her why he's here. Brady claims to Lani that Eli just wanted to check on him. Eli tells Lani that he woke up and was worried about Brady so he wanted to check on him and Rachel. Lani calls that very thoughtful of him. Brady says he's just that kind of guy. Lani reminds Eli that he hasn't been dismissed from the hospital and asks why he didn't just call Brady. Eli says he wasn't thinking straight. Lani questions Eli not answering her calls. Eli claims the ringer was off. Lani checks on Eli and decides to take him back from the hospital. Lani tells Brady to give Kristen her love which he agrees to do. Lani then exits with Eli.

Bonnie tells Justin that she didn't know it was his wedding anniversary and she's so sorry as it must be a really sad day for him. Justin says he's focusing on the happy memories. Steve walks in which annoys Bonnie. Steve says he's sorry to interrupt but something has happened in Tripp's case so he needs to talk to Justin and it's urgent. Bonnie guesses it's time for her to leave. Bonnie remarks that she doesn't know what Steve's son has done but his lawyer is the best as she walks out of the mansion. Justin asks Steve what he can do for him. Steve informs him that he'll let Tripp fill him in. Tripp then comes in and hands Justin the DNA test results, telling him to take a look at those before he decides if he still wants to represent him.

Kayla informs Allie that she will need the test results if she still wants to press charges against Tripp. Allie brings up the problems and trouble she's already caused between Kayla and Steve. Kayla insists that none of this was her fault. Allie feels she shouldn't have gotten so drunk that night. Nicole says that doesn't give Tripp the right to touch her without permission. Nicole knows she urged Allie to go to the police but wonders if she was being too pushy. Nicole informs Allie that her father abused her for years and she was too ashamed to tell anyone so it kills her that she didn't speak up for herself. Nicole says that Allie wasn't like that and she did speak up but if she wants to end this, she won't say another word. Allie feels staying quiet now is like saying she did something wrong but if she goes public, maybe another girl will hear about it and it won't happen to her. Allie argues that if Tripp gets away with this, he will think he can do this to other girls. Allie declares that it's kind of up to her to stop him.

Lani gets Eli back in his hospital bed and says he scared the hell out of her this morning, questioning what he was thinking. Eli apologizes and says he wasn't thinking straight. Lani says from now on, she's doing all his thinking for him until he's back on his feet. Lani says he's been taking care of her since she got pregnant so now it's her turn. Lani asks Abe to watch Eli while she goes to see when he can go home. Abe tells Eli how scared Lani was and questions what he was thinking by going over to Brady's. Eli responds that he had a nightmare and woke up feeling like he was still in it. Abe asks why he went to see Brady. Eli explains that he had to make sure that he kept his mouth shut and didn't tell Lani but all he did was make him madder and he threatened to tell Lani everything then Lani came knocking on the door. Abe guesses Brady did keep his mouth shut. Eli says that he told Brady that Kristen would never forgive him if he broke he and Lani up. Eli notes that it worked for today but he doesn't know how long Brady will keep quiet.

Brady looks at a photo of Kristen and says he didn't tell Lani what Eli forced her to do even though he really wanted to. Brady says recovering addicts resist the temptation and fight the urge to do what would make them feel good at the time. Brady says that telling the world what Eli made her do would probably be more satisfying than a drink. Brady suggests one day he'll fall off the wagon and blow Eli out of the water.

Justin says as long as Tripp is maintaining his innocence, he will continue to represent him. tripp thanks him. Justin admits it doesn't look good and he doesn't know how he will explain it away except for the possibility of error or fraud. Steve points out that Kayla personally supervised the whole process. Tripp guesses Allie will now give the results to the cops. Justin admits there's nothing to stop her now.

Nicole and Allie see Lani at the hospital. Allie asks if she has a minute to talk. Lani asks what's going on. Allie and Nicole reveal that she just got the test results back on Henry and it confirmed everything Allie said and that Tripp is the father. Lani assumes that means she wants the case to move forward. Allie declares that she knows it won't be easy but she will do whatever it takes to make sure Tripp pays for what he did to her..
