Eli is at home on the phone with Justin. Eli says he would like to help but Tripp's case is out of his hands. Eli tells Justin that he will see him at the service and hangs up. Eli then picks up a flyer for Ciara's memorial service. Brady then arrives at the door and asks Eli if he's happy now.

Jennifer goes to Hope's house looking for her but she's not there. Jack comes in after her. Jennifer finds it strange that Hope didn't answer the door and she had to use her extra key. Jennifer calls out to Hope that they are here to pick her up but concludes that she's obviously not home. Jennifer mentions that Hope knew they were picking her up and then getting Doug and Julie at the Pub so they could all go to the memorial together. Jennifer wonders where Hope could be.

Julie sits in the Brady Pub where a photo of Ciara is on display. Claire comes in and complains that the blue napkins are not ready. Julie suggests just using the green ones but Claire says Ciara's favorite color was sky blue. Claire wanted everything to go perfect today for Ciara but everything is going wrong.

Ben is in his room at the Salem Inn, reading an article about Vincent's upcoming arraignment. Ben picks up his gun and declares that he's sorry but Vincent is going to be a no show.

Julie tries to calm Claire down but Claire complains about everything not being set up yet and that she forgot to call the florist. Julie tells Claire that everyone is grateful for what she has done but nobody cares about anything but being together. Claire argues that she cares because it's what Ciara deserves. Julie responds that her granddaughter doesn't deserve to be dead either then quickly apologizes for saying that. Julie says that Ciara knew they all loved her but Claire feels she didn't know that about her since she almost killed her. Claire feels she's no different than Vincent. Julie encourages her against that but Claire says she'll never forgive herself for what she did to Ciara's life so this memorial is her last chance to show her how much she loved so it has to go perfectly because she owes her that much.

Jennifer checks her phone but has no texts, e-mails, or calls from Hope. Jack notes this is not like her. Jennifer admits she doesn't know how Hope is holding herself together with all that is going on. Jennifer then finds an envelope with her name on it. She opens it up to find a letter from Hope.

Ben looks at his wedding photo and tells Ciara that he has not given up and he's not done with Vincent. Ben declares that he won't let Vincent go to prison until he gets the truth out of him. Ben argues that just because a bullet is missing from the gun doesn't mean it was used on Ciara. Ben says the bullet casing in the car doesn't prove that it hit her. Ben states that Ciara and Vincent are the only two people who know what really happened and since he can't find Ciara, he's going to make Vincent give him all the answers. Ben picks up the gun and says he promised Ciara justice and if there's any chance that she is still alive, he's going to make Vincent tell him and he won't stop until he finds her.

Julie tells Claire that Ciara saw that she had recovered and she could believe in her again so there is no unfinished business between them. Claire doesn't believe that since she had so much to make up for and ended up with so little time. Claire says she should've saved her. Julie asks how she could save her from a madman. Julie insists she has nothing to prove. Claire asks if she knows for sure that Ciara forgave her. Julie tells her she's sure. Claire thanks her. Julie decides she should set up the Pub while Claire goes to check on things at the church. Claire says that's great because it gives her time to do one more thing that she knows Ciara would have wanted her to do.

Jennifer reads Hope's letter, saying she's sorry she didn't call but she was afraid they would try to talk her in to going to Ciara's funeral but she couldn't because she's been through one child's funeral with Zack. Jennifer gets emotional reading Hope wishing that Bo was with her now and how he wouldn't accept that Ciara is gone either.

Lani joins Kristen in the interrogation room and says she had no idea her sentencing hearing was today. Lani asks how this happened as she still doesn't understand. Kristen says she plead guilty so maybe it helped as there is a possibility of parole after two years. Lani notes that's a long time but guesses it could've been worse. Lani still doesn't understand why Kristen plead guilty. Lani admires her for doing it but wishes there was another way to go about it that didn't take her away from Rachel. Kristen says with her past, the idea of community service didn't fly. Lani says she's trying to be okay with what she did because it was her decision to make.

Brady asks Eli if Lani is home. Eli says no. Brady says that's good and asks if he will see him at Ciara's service. Eli calls it a tough day for both of their families. Brady says before he goes to pay his respects, he has to take his baby to the police station so her mother can say goodbye to her for the next five years. Brady informs Eli that Kristen officially changed her plea to guilty so she's going to get five years because of what Eli did. Eli argues that Kristen stabbed Victor and is responsible for Haley's death so she was facing serious charges whether he recorded their conversation or not. Brady argues that Eli still forced her in a corner and she changed her plea to make sure Lani wasn't charged. Eli argues that he loves Lani as much as Brady loves Kristen. Eli says Lani's one mistake was letting Kristen get away while Kristen spent her entire life making misery for other people. Eli admits he's having a hard time feeling guilty that she's finally going to pay for some of that. Eli asks what Brady would've done if he were him. Brady warns that he'd be praying his wife doesn't find out he recorded her best friend's confession without her knowledge and then used it to blackmail her into pleading guilty. Eli asks if Brady is saying he's going to get back at him by telling Lani what he did. Brady tells him that Lani won't hear about any of this from him. Eli thanks him but Brady clarifies that he's not doing it for him or Lani but because Kristen made him promise to keep his mouth shut. Brady adds that Kristen wants Eli and Lani to live happily ever after with their babies and there's not much he wouldn't do for Kristen. Brady tells Eli that he couldn't care less about him which Eli questions. Brady prays that Eli is haunted by this deal he made with Melinda and when he's with his family, he thinks about the fact that he and Kristen's daughter will be crying her eyes out for her mother. Brady then exits.

Lani is shocked to learn that Kristen is being moved to Statesville prison today. Kristen says she's just waiting for the van. Lani asks where Brady is and why he isn't here with her. Kristen explains that he went to get Rachel after the hearing. Kristen is not too crazy about saying goodbye to her daughter in the police station but she has no choice. Lani hates that Kristen finally had everything she ever wanted and now she has to leave it all behind. Lani questions why Kristen didn't hire the best criminal attorney in the country and fight back. Kristen tells her not to get so upset and raise her blood pressure for her babies. Kristen says she will never forget how much Lani has done for her. Lani says she did what any friend would do. Kristen responds that she wouldn't know because for most of her life, she was never interested in a woman as a friend and always saw them as competition. Kristen says she only cared about getting the man and career she wanted and getting revenge on anyone who got in her way. Kristen adds that she then met Lani and found out what it was like to have a friend who would put it all on the line for her. Kristen calls Lani incredible and says she will treasure their friendship for the rest of her life. Lani asks if there's anything she can do. Kristen tells her to be happy and enjoy her babies. Lani asks what about her. Kristen cries that she's tough and she'll hate this but she will be okay. Kristen tells Lani that she loves her and Lani says she loves her too.

Jennifer continues reading Hope's letter where she says she's still holding on to the one in a million chance that Ciara is still alive. Hope said she could've waited to leave Salem but if she went to the memorial, she's afraid she would no longer have that hope and would have to accept that her daughter is really gone. Hope wrote that she doesn't know where to start her search but she will never give up on Ciara being alive.

Doug joins Julie in the Brady Pub. Doug mentions wearing a tie that Ciara gave him for his birthday. Julie tells him that Jennifer and Jack are coming to pick them up for the memorial and then onto the cemetery. They talk about Ciara's headstone being by Zack and Bo. Julie thinks it will be good for everyone to come to the Pub after to be together and share memories. Doug and Julie get emotional and hug as they cry while Doug wonders how they will ever get through this day.

Ben prepares to leave his room with the gun when Claire shows up at his door.

Jennifer continues reading as Hope wrote about Jack and Jennifer being so caring and kind to her so she knows they will understand her decision. Hope wrote that she'd be in touch with Shawn, Doug, and Julie when she's ready but for now she's going to impose on Jennifer and Jack with explaining to them that she needs to do this. Hope wrote that as much as she will miss everyone, finding her daughter is her priority with no distractions. Jennifer cries finishing Hope's letter, saying she loves her and that she's more like a sister to her. Jennifer tells Jack that she wishes she could believe that Hope will find Ciara but with what they know, she's so worried about Hope. Jack points out that Hope wouldn't be able to live with herself if she didn't do this. Jennifer argues that Hope is not in her right mind because of the grief and she's not thinking straight. Jennifer questions Hope leaving her family when she needs them and their love. Jack suggests that right now their love and support is letting Hope do what she needs to do. Jennifer asks if Jack really thinks they shouldn't go after her. Jack thinks she knows the answer to that. Jennifer agrees that they should let Hope do what she needs to do so she can hold onto the hope that her daughter is still alive, even if it's not remotely possible, because they can't take that from her. Jack hugs Jennifer as she cries.

Brady enters the interrogation room with Rachel. Lani decides to give them some alone time. Kristen thanks her for everything as Lani then exits. Eli arrives at the police station and asks Lani how she's doing. Lani says she's not good since her best friend is saying goodbye to her daughter for at least two years. Lani talks about Kristen doing what she did because she was led to believe that her daughter died and if that didn't happen then she, Brady, and Rachel would be a happy family now. Lani doesn't know what she would have done if she was Kristen. Eli brings up that now he has the pleasure of bringing Ciara's killer up from holding so he can finally get what he deserves.

Ben asks what Claire is doing here. Claire says she just thought she would stop by to see if he would change his mind about coming to Ciara's memorial service. Ben responds that he can't be there. Claire says at least she tried. Claire then questions where Ben was going if he's not coming to the service. Ben tells her that the only way for him to make it through today was to take Ciara's motorcycle out for a ride. Claire guesses she gets that. Ben says riding with her is how he wants to remember her, not a gravestone with her name on it and nothing underneath it. Claire asks if he still thinks there's a possibility that she could be alive. Claire then apologizes and says it's none of her business. Claire tells Ben that if he changes his mind and wants to be with other people who loved Ciara then he's more than welcome to come. Ben doubts that. Claire tells him that marrying Ciara made him part of their family so if he needs anything or just wants to talk, they are all here for him. Ben calls that nice of her to say but tells her not to worry about him as he's going to be okay. Claire leaves him a flyer for the memorial in case he changes his mind. Ben thanks her but says he has to go. Ben tells Claire to lock the door behind her as he quickly exits the room.

Kristen sits with Rachel as Brady talks about the fun day they had together. Brady tells Kristen that he will take pictures so she doesn't miss anything. Kristen tells Rachel that she won't see her for awhile but promises she will be back. Kristen says Brady will take care of her while she's away and she will think about her every day. Kristen talks about Rachel making her dreams come true and now she will dream of them being together again which will one day come true.

Jennifer joins Doug and Julie at the Pub. Doug thought Hope would be with her. Jennifer explains that she and Jack went to pick her up but Hope is not coming to the funeral as she just can't face it.

Eli goes to Vincent's cell and tells him that he has a date with the judge. Ben then grabs Eli from behind with his gun. Ben tells Eli that Vincent is coming with him. Eli gets how he feels but he has to let the justice system do it's job. Ben argues that Vincent is getting his kind of justice. Eli tells Ben to put the gun down and warns him not to make things worse after last night. Ben responds that Vincent took Ciara from him and nothing could be worse than that. Eli tells Ben that he can't let him do that but Ben says he doesn't have much choice. Eli argues that Ben won't shoot him but Ben warns him not to be so sure about that...

Kristen asks Brady to take Rachel out so she doesn't see them take her away. Brady assures that she's too young to know what's going on and he's spending every minute with her so they are staying. Kristen tells Brady how much she loves him. Kristen doesn't know if she can do this. Brady encourages that she can and that she'll be out as soon as she knows it. Brady says they will be right there waiting for her. Kristen says she loves him and Brady says the same.

Julie can't believe Hope isn't coming to her daughter's memorial service. Doug argues that Hope can't just stay home by herself and offers to go be with her but Jennifer tells him that he can't. Jennifer reveals that they went to pick Hope up but she wasn't there and they don't know exactly where she is. Jennifer explains that Hope left a letter, wanting her to explain to them that she had to leave Salem so she could search for Ciara and answers so she could hold onto hope that her daughter is still alive. Jennifer assures that Hope will be in touch. Julie cries that they've lost Ciara and now this. Doug says it's alright as he knows his daughter and understands why she can't give up on her daughter so they have to respect that. Doug hugs Julie as she cries.

Claire looks at Ben and Ciara's wedding photo in Ben's room. Claire says that Ben is a wreck without her and he tried to hide it but she could tell. Claire mentions telling Ben he could always turn to the family but she doesn't think he bought it. Claire adds that Ben said he would be okay but she has this really bad feeling...

Lani goes to the cell and finds Eli unconscious on the ground inside.

Ben walks Vincent out of the town square with his gun and puts him on his knees. Vincent asks what he wants since he already told him everything he knows. Ben says for his sake, he hopes that's not true as he raises the gun towards him.
