Marlena goes to John's hospital room to bring him some clothes, but finds John looking at his laptop while holding back tears and asks him what's wrong.

Kristen tells Brady that he can't say anything to anyone if he loves her. Belle enters the interrogation room and questions Kristen changing her plea to guilty which she confirms. Belle complains that she's been busting her butt on her defense so she demands an explanation now. Brady responds that he can tell her exactly why.

Allie comes out of her bedroom where Nicole greets her. Allie asks if she heard from Lani and if Tripp has been arrested. Nicole informs her that she spoke to Lani this morning and told her that Tripp came by but it didn't seem to make a difference which Allie questions. Nicole guesses they are still trying to figure out what they can do legally. Allie worries that Tripp can just visit whenever he wants. Nicole tells her that she's sorry. Nicole asks if Allie wants to feed her baby but Allie says she should get going to see John so she will see her later. Nicole tries to stop her but Allie thanks her for watching Henry and goes to leave when Lucas arrives. Allie tells him she can't talk and walks out while Lucas questions what that was all about.

Steve is at home finishing a call with Justin. Steve tells Kayla that Justin hasn't heard from Tripp since he left the police station yesterday. Kayla points out that Tripp didn't come home last night while Steve adds that he's not answering his phone or responding to texts. Kayla asks if maybe Tripp took off to avoid being arrested. Steve says he wouldn't do that because he swore he was innocent and he needs to clear his name. Kayla asks what they do now. Steve decides he can't just sit around anymore so he's going to look for him but then Tripp comes home.

Marlena asks why John is crying. John informs her that he's just reading the article that Abigail wrote about Kristen's arrest. John cries that now Brady could lose the woman he loves and Rachel could lose her mother. Marlena encourages that Belle is doing everything she can to make sure Kristen does not go to prison. John cries then stops and says he doesn't know why he's getting so emotional about it and guesses it's another mood swing which Marlena confirms. John asks when this will all end. Marlena tells him that the specialist has to sign off and then she can take him home. Marlena assures it will be very soon. Allie then enters with flowers.

Lucas asks Nicole why Allie ran off like that. Nicole says she wanted to go visit John. Lucas points out that she was in quite a rush. Nicole thinks she just wanted some air. Lucas asks if everything is okay with the baby. Nicole says he's fine. Lucas asks if they are putting too much pressure on her to bond with the baby or if they should back off. Nicole suggests maybe they shouldn't put so much pressure on her right now. Lucas asks what it is. Nicole tells him that Allie is dealing with some things right now which Lucas questions.

Steve hugs Tripp and says he's glad to see him. Kayla adds that they were worried about him. Tripp apologizes. Steve asks where he was. Tripp responds that he was sitting out by the lake and lost track of time. Steve points out that he was there all night and asks why he didn't answer his texts. Tripp apologizes and says he assumed he talked to Justin. Steve confirms that he went to the station and Justin told him about Allie's accusations so he knows she is saying that Tripp raped her.

Belle asks Brady why Kristen suddenly changed her plea. Brady claims that it's just because Kristen feels she caused enough trouble for everyone and wants to take responsibility for what she did so her daughter can be proud of her one day. Belle asks Kristen if that's true that she did it for her daughter. Kristen says that it is. Belle admits that's admirable but wishes she would've let her fight for her. Belle declares that now that Kristen confessed to Melinda, she could be going away for a really long time.

Allie questions John crying. John tells her that everything is better now that she is here and hugs her. Allie apologizes for not coming sooner. John understands she has her hands full with her baby. Marlena asks if Allie is settling in with the baby and Nicole. Allie talks about Nicole being supportive and understanding, adding that she doesn't know what she would've done without her.

Nicole tells Lucas that Allie should be the one to tell him. Lucas questions what is going on and says he deserves to know. Lucas threatens to go to the hospital to confront her if he has to. Nicole says she's sorry to have to tell him this but maybe it will make it easier on Allie. Nicole adds that she doesn't want Sami finding out. Lucas questions what it is. Nicole thought at least one parent should be informed. Lucas demands to know what has happened to his daughter. Nicole then reveals to him that Allie was raped.

Tripp states that he did not rape Allie and doesn't know why she is accusing him. Tripp swears he didn't have sex with her so she's either confused or lying. Kayla mentions that she talked to Nicole, who said that Allie remembers Tripp on top of her and holding her down while she said no. Tripp reveals he talked to Allie after he left the station which shocks Steve and Kayla. Kayla tells him to be honest with them while Steve calls that a really bad mood in case it goes to court. Tripp says he just wanted to talk to Allie and find out why she's doing this. Kayla asks what she said. Tripp says she insisted she's telling the truth but she's not. Kayla doesn't understand why she would make it up. Tripp swears that he's innocent and would never do something like that. Tripp says they have to believe him.

Kristen asks Belle if she thinks Melinda would cut her some slack and recommend a reduced sentence since she changed her plea to guilty. Belle reminds Kristen that Melinda wants revenge for Kristen pushing Haley down the stairs and won't stop until she gets it. Belle feels her hands are tied. Kristen knows there is no turning back but asks if there is anything she can do to get her a lighter sentence. Belle agrees to see what she can do since she has to talk to Melinda to see what this all means for the trial. Kristen says she appreciates it as Belle then exits. Kristen thanks Brady for not letting Belle know the real reason that she confessed. Brady still hates that Eli strong armed her into doing it. Kristen argues that he had no choice since Melinda was going to prosecute Lani and she couldn't let that happen. Brady argues that if Belle knows what Melinda pulled, she could use that to her advantage because it was unethical. Kristen declares that Brady cannot tell anyone, including Lani, because if she found out that Eli pressured her into confessing then she would be furious and might even leave him. Kristen adds that Lani's babies are coming soon. Brady remarks that Eli and Lani get their happy ending but what about them. Brady asks what he and Rachel are supposed to do without Kristen.

Marlena asks Allie if she has any new pictures of Henry. Allie says she has a few and pulls out her phone to show Marlena and John. Marlena comments that he looks like Allie at that age. John knows Allie had reservations about raising Henry but he feels she won't be able to resist him for long. Allie responds that she wants to love Henry but it's harder now that she knows. Marlena asks her what's wrong. Allie informs them that she wasn't going to say anything but there is something they both should know about Henry's father and what he did to her.

Lucas questions Nicole saying that Allie was raped. Lucas asks when this happened. Nicole tells him that it was in London last December. Lucas asks why she didn't say anything. Nicole says she didn't remember a lot of that night because she was drinking too much but she remembers now being held down against her will. Lucas can't believe it and asks if Allie knows the guy. Nicole says they met at the club that night and then he took her home because she was drinking too much and took advantage of her. Lucas wants a name. Nicole confirms that she has identified the guy. Lucas wants to kill him and demands to know who it was. Nicole informs him that it's someone he knows and reveals that it's Steve's son Tripp.

Kayla tells Tripp that she wants to believe him but it's a very complicated situation. Tripp swears he's telling the truth. Kayla gets paged to the hospital and has to go to work but says they need to talk about this later. Kayla then exits. Tripp feels Kayla doesn't believe him and everyone is going to take Allie's side over his. Tripp says he probably would too if he were them. Steve assures Tripp that he's on his side and when it comes down to it, Kayla will be too. Tripp asks why Kayla didn't just say that then.

Lucas questions Tripp raping Allie and asks what he was doing in London. Nicole guesses he was traveling on break from med school and it was just a coincidence that they ran into each other. Nicole adds that they didn't know their connection until Allie ran in to him a few days ago in Salem. Lucas wants to call the police but Nicole informs him that she and Allie have already talked to Lani. Lucas asks if they are going to arrest Tripp or what. Nicole says she doesn't know as Lani is still trying to figure out if she can bring charges against Tripp here, otherwise Allie will have to go back to London to file a report. Lucas declares they will do whatever they have to do because he's not letting Tripp get away with raping his daughter. Nicole feels the same way. Lucas cries that it breaks his heart since Allie has been dealing with so much. Lucas then realizes that night is what led to the birth of Allie's baby.

John questions Tripp raping Allie. Marlena tells her that she's so sorry and asks if Sami knows. Allie says not yet. Marlena wishes she told them sooner as she's horrified of her going through this by herself. Allie says she didn't really remember until she ran in to Tripp. Allie says she talked about it with Nicole and then started remembering details which John asks about. Allie explains that she remembers him hovering above her and holding her down. John wants the police involved to put Tripp in prison. Allie notes that Nicole already brought Lani over to talk to her. John asks if they locked him up then. Allie says he was brought in for questioning but he hasn't been charged yet. John screams that Tripp needs to be behind bars while Marlena tries to calm him down. Allie apologizes for upsetting him and says she should go. Marlena assures it's not about her. John tells Allie that she did nothing wrong. Allie feels she should go so John can rest. Allie is glad John is feeling better then exits. Marlena tells John to calm own as she follows out after Allie. John then throws the flowers in frustration. Marlena catches up to Allie, who worries that she upset John. Marlena assures he will be fine and asks to go somewhere to talk about it in private but Allie doesn't want to talk about it and wants to forget that it happened. Allie says every time she looks at Henry, she remembers what Tripp did. Allie remarks that she can't even hold her own son without thinking about how his father raped her, right as Kayla walks by in the hospital.

Tripp tells Steve that he's not just worried about what Kayla thinks but he is worried everyone in Salem will think he's a rapist. Steve argues that people know what kind of man he is. Tripp informs him that Claire attacked him yesterday and wouldn't even let him tell his side of the story. Steve says it's an emotional issue for everyone and suggests they go over his side of the story again. Tripp asks if he's starting to doubt him too. Steve says no but he thinks it might help to get a really clear picture of what happened that night. Tripp goes over Allie being wasted so he brought her home to put her to bed but she wanted to dance and kissed him. Tripp says she could barely stand so he stopped it because she was so out of it. Tripp adds that he helped her into bed. Steve asks if Allie fell asleep in her clothes. Tripp hesitates then admits not exactly.

Kristen tells Brady that she's so sorry for screwing things up again. Kristen says when she almost has everything she ever wanted, she finds a way to lose it all. Kristen guesses someone like her doesn't deserve happiness. Brady tells her not to say that. Kristen points out where she is. Kristen wants Brady to know that whatever happens, she will cherish the times they had raising Rachel together. Kristen says her heart has never been so full. Brady is not giving up. Belle returns to the room. Brady asks if she talked to Melinda which Belle confirms so Kristen asks what is going to happen to her.

Steve asks Tripp what Allie was wearing when he put her to bed. Tripp admits it was just her underwear. Steve asks if he took her clothes off but Tripp says she unzipped her own dress and that he turned her back until she got in bed. Steve asks why he didn't just leave and why he hung around. Tripp explains that Allie was a mess so he wanted to make sure she wasn't going to get sick. Tripp says after she fell asleep, he left a note for her to call him and left. Steve questions Tripp leaving out the part about Allie getting undressed when he first told the story. Tripp didn't think it was important and certainly had no idea he'd be accused of rape. Tripp calls it insane. Tripp asks if Steve still believes him.

Kayla tells Allie that she talked to Tripp and she knows what's going on. Allie doesn't want to hear it if she's going to defend him. Kayla says she just wanted to tell her that she's sorry she's going through this because she knows first hand what it's like. Kayla tells Allie to ask if she needs anything. Allie tells her that for starters, she can get Tripp to stop lying and admit what he did to her. Marlena asks what Tripp said to Kayla. Kayla responds that he's maintaining his innocence. Allie guesses that Kayla and Steve believe him and remarks that she should've known they'd be on his side. Kayla responds that they are just trying to understand what happened. Allie shouts that what happened is Tripp raped her and that's all she needs to know.

Belle says now that Kristen has plead guilty, the trial has been called off, so she and Melinda are going to meet in the judges chambers to figure out how to proceed. Kristen asks if she should go with her. Belle says that's not necessary and thinks it's better to keep her away from Melinda. Brady questions just waiting. Belle says she'll come back to fill them in when they have an outcome. Kristen wishes her luck as Belle then exits. Kristen notes that Belle didn't seem too optimistic. Brady reminds her when she wanted to jump bail and he convinced her to stay and fight. Brady admits he thinks that was a big mistake and he thinks they need to get Rachel and get out of Salem now. Kristen questions Brady wanting to run now. Brady says they have to because they are out of options. Kristen asks about fighting but Brady says the fight was over the minute she confessed. Brady argues that she's still out on bail so they can leave the police station and they can't keep her here. Brady feels this is their only chance to be a family. Kristen says she's sorry but she just can't do that. Brady questions why not since she was willing to before. Kristen argues that things have changed and if she disappears now, there's nothing stopping Melinda from going after Lani and she won't let Lani take the fall for her again. Kristen adds that Melinda is not wrong, she is guilty so she needs to pay for what she did to Haley and Victor. Brady says no one blames her for what she did to Victor and Haley was an accident. Kristen says she still took a life so maybe prison will balance the scales. Kristen tells Brady that someday she will be reunited with him and Rachel so she can finally be the mother Rachel deserves.

Steve assures Tripp that he believes him. Tripp feels he's acting like he's suspicious. Steve says he just needs to know everything and tells Tripp not to hold anything back because every detail is important. Steve notes that Allie getting undressed could be important. Tripp insists they did not have sex but Steve points out how it can be misconstrued. Steve asks if there is anything else Tripp left out. Tripp doesn't think so. Steve then suggests Tripp write down everything he remembers as it might trigger some more memories. Tripp knows if he gets the smallest detail wrong, people will think he's lying including Kayla. Steve notes that it's a sensitive subject with Kayla. Tripp knows that Jack raped her a long time ago. Steve says that's why Kayla could be more inclined to believe Allie. Tripp hates that Kayla thinks he could be capable of this. Steve says he will talk to her and at the end of the day, she will be in his corner.

Nicole asks Lucas what he's going to do. Lucas says he's going to kill Tripp with his bare hands and then make sure Allie is okay. Nicole thinks he should wait here until Allie gets back because causing a scene at the hospital won't help anyone. Lucas agrees and thanks Nicole for being there for his daughter every step of the way through this. Lucas says he'll always be grateful. Nicole calls Allie a very special woman. Allie then comes home and asks what Lucas is still doing there. Allie realizes Nicole told him. Nicole apologizes for not asking her first but says she needs her dad and she thought this would be easier if she didn't have to break the news herself. Allie tells her that it's okay and she's not mad. Nicole decides to give them some privacy and heads to her room. Allie cries to Lucas that she's so sorry as he hugs her and assures that it's not her fault.

Brady tells Kristen there is no sense in waiting around for Belle since she can call them when she's done. Brady suggests they go get Rachel so they can be together as a family. Kristen agrees but Belle returns before they can go. Brady notes that was fast. Belle informs them that the judge accepted Kristen's guilty plea. Belle then questions if they were going somewhere. Brady admits they were going to spend time with Rachel. Belle reveals they can't do that because there's a guard coming right now which Kristen questions. Belle explains that while they await the judge's final sentencing, they are taking Kristen into custody immediately.

Allie is glad Nicole told Lucas since she didn't know how. Lucas tells her it's ok and he's here for her now to make sure she's okay. Allie doesn't know what she is right now. Lucas asks what he can do and if she wants to go to the police or a counselor. Allie respond that all she needs is to know that he believes her. Lucas assures that he does. Allie thanks him and hugs him. Lucas promises they will get through this and she will be fine.

Marlena tells Kayla that she's sure Steve wants to support his son but she doesn't think Allie would lie about something like this. Kayla says that's what she told Steve but she's trying to keep an open mind. Marlena understands it's hard for her knowing both people involved. Kayla worries that people will take sides when the news spreads. Marlena mentions John hearing about it and asks Kayla to sign John's release from the hospital. Marlena and Kayla go to John's room but find that he is gone. Marlena doesn't know where he is but has a bad feeling about it.

Tripp complains to Steve that this can't be happening as he should be working on his med school transfer and not trying to defend himself over something he didn't even do that happened a year ago. Tripp wonders why Allie is doing this. There's a knock at the door and Tripp says he doesn't want to talk. Steve says it could be Justin so he answers the door but it's John. John then walks in and punches Tripp down.
