Eli finishes his call as Melinda arrives to the station and asks Eli for the evidence she requested. Eli hands over a list of everyone who was on duty the day that Victor accused Kristen and she walked out of the police station. Melinda asks for the footage. Lani comes out of the interrogation room and hands over the laptop, saying it's in there. Melinda asks where she can set it up. Eli questions her watching it right now. Melinda figures there has to be a free desk somewhere. Eli allows her to use the interrogation room so she heads in. Eli then asks Lani if she deleted the footage.

Steve questions Kayla being home instead of at work. Kayla explains that her patient cancelled so she decided to make Steve's favorite breakfast as a belated welcome home. Steve asks where Tripp is. Kayla responds that he just missed him.

Tripp sits outside the Brady Pub and thinks back to running into Allie and the argument they had then the conversation he had with Steve where he found out Allie had a baby and Steve asked if Tripp was the father.

Nicole is at home on the phone with Eric. She says it's wonderful having the baby in the house and everything is fine with Allie but she misses him so much already. Allie comes out of her room as Nicole finishes her call and stops Allie to ask where she's going. Allie says she ran out of shampoo so she was going to get more and asks if Nicole needs anything else. Nicole says she needs to talk to her. Allie says they can talk when she gets back but Nicole stops her and says they need to talk now.

Steve asks Kayla if Tripp said where he was going. Kayla says he mentioned the Pub and asks if he needs to see him about something. Steve says it's nothing that can't wait. Kayla asks if everything is okay. Steve asks why it wouldn't be. Kayla brings up hearing Tripp saying he didn't go to the medical school but she was called away before she heard what happened. Steve informs her that he didn't make it because he ran in to Allie Horton.

Allie questions what she and Nicole have to talk about. Nicole thinks they need to finish their conversation from last night. Allie says they did, she had a one night stand and got pregnant. Nicole says she's just trying to understand why she's making this like it's no big deal. Allie remarks that she sounds like her mom now and that's not a compliment. Nicole states that something is bothering Allie. Allie claims she's fine. Nicole points out that she was desperate to get out of the house and something is really wrong. Allie tells Nicole that she doesn't want to talk or think about it. Allie says it happened and it's over but Nicole doesn't think it is.

Eli asks Lani again if she deleted the footage. Lani reveals that she did not. Eli questions Lani handing Melinda the smoking gun. Lani acknowledges that she could lose her job. Lani admits she wanted to edit the footage but she kept thinking about Eli talking about her bending the rules and that's not the kind of cop she wants to be. Eli points out that if she didn't delete the footage, she won't be a cop at all. Eli doesn't understand why Lani keeps covering for Kristen but he loves her because of how loyal she is. Lani acknowledges that Kristen got her through the worst time of her life so she can't just forget about that and she's also the reason she and Eli are together. Lani says if she has to choose between her job and her friend, she's letting the job go. Eli hopes that's all because they know how vindictive Melinda is. Lani says Melinda has everything she needs to blow her out of the water. Eli offers to go talk to her and warns Lani to stay out of Melinda's way and work on another case while he tries to diffuse the situation. Lani tells Eli that she loves him. Hope then brings Vincent into the police station and declares that she needs the interrogation room.

Allie tells Nicole that it's over and in the past. Nicole points out that doesn't mean it stops hurting. Nicole guesses it's tearing her up inside. Allie says she'll get over it but Nicole says not by denying it. Allie says she shouldn't have told her about the night she met Tripp. Nicole brings up that Allie shut down when she got to the part where Tripp took her home and assures that she won't judge her. Allie responds that's only because she doesn't know what she did.

Kayla didn't know Tripp and Allie knew each other. Steve says he didn't either but it turns out Tripp met Allie when he was on break from med school.

Roman comes out of the Pub and greets Tripp. Roman offers him a free lunch but Tripp says he came to talk to him. Tripp tells him that he's so sorry about Ciara. Roman calls it hard to believe. Tripp brings up the chance that Ciara could still be alive. Roman informs Tripp that Hope sent him a text that she caught Vincent.

Hope explains to Eli and Lani how she tracked down Vincent. Eli asks where Ben is. Hope says they came back in separate cars, commenting that Vincent might not have made it back alive if Ben was in the car with him and he's lucky that she didn't kill him herself. Eli asks if he said if Ciara was in the car. Hope responds that Vincent refused to talk without a lawyer so she wants to see what they can do about that. Ben then arrives, grabs Vincent, and demands that he talk or he will kill him. Ben asks him about Ciara. Hope and Eli pull Ben off of Vincent. Eli says they need to leave now but Hope refuses. Eli feels she needs a break from this case. Lani agrees that Hope is exhausted and says they will call when Vincent is ready to talk. Ben refuses to leave too so Eli threatens to throw him in a holding cell. Eli tells Ben that they need to do this by the book. Eli asks them to both leave for Ciara's sake. Hope tells Eli to call her as she and Ben then exit the station. Melinda comes out of the interrogation room and calls Eli into the room. Eli says they are trying to book a perp right now but Melinda says Lani can handle that so Eli heads in to the interrogation room with Melinda. Eli asks what she needs. Melinda asks for one good reason not to charge his wife with obstruction of justice.

Steve explains further to Kayla how Tripp met Allie in London on his Christmas break. Kayla questions them not knowing they were both from Salem or that their families were connected. Kayla brings up Allie's pregnancy and asks if Steve thinks Tripp is the father.

Tripp sits with Roman in the Pub. Roman talks about Hope not knowing if Ciara was in the car. Tripp hopes she will find out now one way or another. Roman tells Tripp that it's good to have him back as the more family around, the better. Tripp brings up hearing Allie is back. Roman says that is good for her and her baby.

Allie reveals to Nicole that she got so drunk that she passed out and it wasn't the first time either. Allie talks about she used to be able to hold her liquor better which Nicole relates to. Allie says on that night, she got crazy drunk, blacked out, and had a baby. Allie cries that Henry doesn't deserve a mother like her. Nicole encourages her not to beat herself up. Allie thinks she has it coming. Nicole thinks hurting herself is punishment enough. Allie talks about being sober ever since finding out she was pregnant. Nicole credits her for stopping drinking. Allie argues that she shouldn't have gotten pregnant in the first place. Nicole says there's no point and brings up how many things she shouldn't have done in her life. Nicole wants Allie to open up so she doesn't feel so alone. Nicole asks Allie what she last remembers from that night. Allie cries that she remembers Tripp taking her home but nothing else as she woke up the next morning and Tripp was gone. Nicole questions if Allie was unable to agree to sleep with Tripp but Allie says she's not sure and it could have been her idea. Allie then remembers that Tripp was on top of her. Allie says that still doesn't mean anything as she could have invited him but there is no way of knowing because she was too drunk to remember. Nicole argues that if she needed Tripp's help to get home then he knew she wasn't in control which means she wasn't able to give consent. Allie asks how she knows that she didn't.

Steve admits to Kayla that the thought crossed his mind but Tripp seemed genuinely surprised that Allie was pregnant. Kayla remarks that Allie wouldn't be the first woman to hide it from the father. Steve says he asked Tripp if he thought he could be the father but he didn't get an answer since Claire showed up. Kayla asks if he thinks Tripp is avoiding him and that's why he wanted to see him. Steve declares that if Tripp is the father, he needs to help him step up to the plate.

Tripp tells Roman that Steve mentioned Allie having a baby. Roman says that Allie named the baby Henry but he doesn't know why since it's not a family name and he doesn't know anything about the father. Hope and Ben arrive at the Pub. Roman asks about Vincent. Hope tells him that he's at the station but he hasn't said anything yet.

Lani gives Vincent a paper to sign. Lani says they get that Ben did a lot of horrible things to a lot of horrible people including murdering Wendy. Lani says she can only imagine how much that hurt since Ben is free while Vincent and Eve have to live with what he did. Lani knows Vincent wants to hurt Ben but he's hurting all the other people who love Ciara, like Hope. Lani argues that Hope never did anything to him and he's putting her through Hell.

Eli asks Melinda what she means. Melinda shows Eli the footage of Lani helping Kristen escape the police station and asks what it looks like to him. Eli says he recalls there was a lot of press there that day so he believes Lani was trying to get Kristen past them. Melinda believes that Kristen had just confessed to stabbing Victor and Lani was helping her escape. Eli questions why Lani would help Kristen get away. Melinda says maybe because they are very close friends which she heard from Abe. Melinda talks about Lani and Kristen's friendship. Melinda warns Eli not to mess with her and plays the security footage, asking Eli to explain to her what's going on when Lani puts her hands out for Eli to handcuff her. Eli tries to say he doesn't remember but Melinda figures out that Eli is confronting Lani for helping Kristen escape. Melinda says Lani was telling him to go ahead and arrest her but instead, he did absolutely nothing.

Lani tells Vincent that the evidence against him is overwhelming so he's going away for a long time and maybe he's okay with that since his plan succeeded if Ciara is dead and Ben is hurt. Lani suggests it could have failed if Ciara is still alive. She argues that Hope deserves closure and to know if her daughter is alive or dead. Lani asks how Wendy would feel about what he's doing when she died helping complete strangers. Lani asks how Wendy would feel about Vincent putting a mother through what Hope is going through.

Hope tells Roman that Vincent won't talk without a lawyer and that Eli and Lani are booking him so he's awaiting representation. Roman tells her that he loves her and he's here for her. Roman can't imagine how hard this is for her. Hope says she is managing to keep going by being numb and forcing herself to push her emotions down. Roman says he understands. Hope cries that right now she just wants her baby girl back. Hope prays for her daughter back. Tripp goes over to Ben and tells him that he's really sorry. Tripp asks if Ben wants to be alone. Ben says he's not really great company. Tripp gets a text from Steve, wanting him to get home.

Nicole asks Allie if she wants to know for sure if she invited Tripp in to her bed and if she's sure she doesn't remember anything else. Allie says no so Nicole asks if it's possible that she doesn't want to remember because every time they mention Tripp, she shuts down. Allie says whenever she thinks about that night, she gets a really bad feeling and she doesn't know why. Nicole says that will never change until she knows. Allie then remembers a hand on her wrist that night and believes Tripp was holding her down. Nicole asks if she remembers anything else. Allie responds that she said no.

Melinda informs Eli that she has more footage so they can see what happened next. Melinda points out Lani not arrested, now with Brady in the interrogation room having an intense conversation and then Brady leaves. Melinda says it seems Brady went straight to an airstrip where he boarded the Titan jet to Paris where Kristen fled to. Melinda feels the only logical explanation is that Lani told Brady where Kristen went to. Melinda thinks the footage builds a very strong case against Lani, which could put her away for years. Eli asks why she's telling him this. Melinda responds that she wants to give him one last chance to save her.

Ben sits with Hope at the Pub and worries that Vincent isn't going to say anything because he has him where he wants him. Ben says Vincent couldn't make him kill Ciara but he can make sure he doesn't know if she's dead or alive. Hope gets a call from Lani, who says Vincent wants to talk to Hope and Ben right away.

Tripp goes home to Steve and Kayla's. Kayla says she needs to get to work and exits. Tripp guesses something is wrong. Steve thinks they need to finish their conversation from yesterday as he never answered his question as to if Tripp thinks it's possible that he's the father of Allie's baby.

Nicole tells Allie that if she said no, they have to go to the police to report that she was assaulted. Allie says she can't because they'd arrest Tripp and he's Steve's son. Nicole argues that what he did was wrong. Allie asks what she's supposed to say when she barely remembers what happened. Nicole says saying no is all she needs to remember. Allie tells her that she's scared. Nicole encourages that she won't go through it alone as she will go to the police station with her. Allie feels she can't because there are too many people she knows there. Nicole suggests maybe there's another way.

Melinda tells Eli that other than this, she believes Lani is a good cop so she'd much rather put Kristen away than Lani. Eli asks what she wants him to do. Melinda wants undeniable proof that Kristen DiMera is guilty, something that will put her away for life. Melinda declares that if Eli gets her that, she'll drop the entire investigation into Lani. Melinda brings up Eli arresting Kristen so he knows as well as anyone the things she has done so it's not fabricating a case. Melinda remarks that it would be a shame if Lani gave birth to Eli's children in prison.

Lani goes to see Nicole and Allie.

Tripp tells Steve that he's not the father of Allie's baby because he never slept with her.

Nicole introduces Lani to Allie. Nicole says Allie has something she needs to talk to her about but she didn't feel comfortable coming to the police station. Lani sits next to her and asks what's going on. Allie reveals that she wants to report a rape.

Ben and Hope go back to the police station to see Vincent. Vincent declares that he will tell them everything they want to know...
