Xander paces in the town square, worrying if Sarah isn't going to show up but then she does. Xander tells her she looks beautiful. Sarah apologizes for being late as she got held up at the hospital then had to go home and change but Xander tells her that she's right on time.

Gabi confronts the portrait of Stefano at the DiMera Mansion and says it must be tough for him to be helpless to stop her from outsmarting his son. Gabi says that Chad is on his way to Florida to be with Abigail while she just got off the phone with Li Shin's office and confirmed they are having a very important dinner so Mr. Shin will be very disappointed to see Chad is not here while she will be back on top where she belongs. Jake walks in and says that sounds good to him.

Will enters the living room of the Kiriakis Mansion and asks Sonny if he got his voicemails. Sonny says he heard them but asks why he would call him back. Sonny tells Will that they aren't getting Allie's baby because he blew it so there's nothing to talk about.

Nicole visits Allie in her hospital room to check on her. Allie says she's not so great. Nicole says she's sorry but Allie says Sami is the one who ruined everything.

Sami goes to Eric's apartment and says they need to talk about Allie. Sami tells Eric that he needs to help her fix the mess his horrible wife created.

Allie tells Nicole that this is not how this was supposed to happen as Sami had no right to talk Rafe out of the adoption. Nicole regrets telling Allie what Sami did but Allie is glad she did because she and Eric are the only ones she can trust. Nicole says that's not true. Allie informs her that she thought she could trust Will but he was lying to her too.

Will tells Sonny that he has every right to be upset but it's not like he conspired with Sami as she went to Rafe all on her own and all he did was not say anything about it. Sonny argues that Will lied to him and he doesn't understand why.

Eric warns Sami to never insult his wife again. Sami apologizes but says he can't blame her for being angry at her for opening up her mouth to Allie. Eric tells Sami that Allie wanted Rafe to adopt her child but Sami decided that wouldn't happen so Allie deserved to know the truth. Sami argues that it wasn't Nicole's place to tell her and now Allie hates her. Eric tells Sami that the only person to blame is herself.

Gabi questions why Jake is in the living room instead of upstairs with Gwen. Jake says he seemed to have dropped his phone. Gabi tells him that she doesn't know where it is so he can go. Jake questions her not wanting to help him look for it as he searches the room. Gabi questions him hearing part of her conversation. Jake remarks that he heard she likes being on top which he finds pretty hot. Gabi calls him disgusting and asks why he even needs his phone right now since she's expecting company. Jake tells her that he's in the middle of a film project of sorts. Gabi calls that disgusting which Jake laughs at. Jake finds his phone under pillows on the couch. Gabi tells him to get out then. Jake asks about her having a problem with him living in the mansion. Gabi asks him to leave her alone. Jake says he's just trying to make friendly conversation instead of her talking to a portrait. Jake then says goodnight and leaves the room. Li Shin arrives and greets Gabi. He asks where Chad is since the client is waiting for them at the Bistro. Gabi pretends to be surprised and says that Chad just left for the airport. Li says his assistant confirmed Chad would be here for this very important meeting. Gabi guesses Abigail was more important. Li says he promised the client a face to face meeting with the CEO. Gabi offers to pitch in but Li says that won't work this time because they are expecting a DiMera. Gabi points out that she is a DiMera. Li says this has to be a family member. Gabi insists they can pull this off but Li says he's sorry and it's not possible so he's going to have to cancel the meeting. Gabi stops him and says she has an idea so she tells him to have a drink while she will be right back.

Xander and Sarah sit together in the town square. Sarah tells him that she's grateful that he stuck around and apologizes for not calling about being late. Xander assures it's fine as he would've waited all night. Sarah understands if he was worried she wouldn't show. Xander tells her that all that matters is she's here now. Xander asks if there was an emergency at the hospital. Sarah informs him that Lani and Eli came in and thought something was wrong with the baby but everything is fine as they are having twins. Sarah says they are very lucky. Xander is sure that's difficult for her. Sarah admits being around pregnant women reminds her of everything she's lost.

Nicole asks Allie what Will did. Allie informs her that he knew about Sami talking to Rafe about not adopting her baby and he didn't say anything because he wanted the baby for himself and Sonny. Allie is glad she found out before signing the adoption papers as she's definitely not giving them the baby. Allie adds that Will not only lied to her but his own husband which surprises Nicole. Allie tells her that Sonny was really angry and she doesn't know how you could keep something like that from someone you love. Nicole tells her that it happens more often than she thinks as she did something like that too to Eric.

Eric tells Sami that if anyone is to blame it's her. Sami refuses to blame herself since Nicole told Allie. Eric says there wouldn't have been anything to tell if Sami didn't go to Rafe in the first place. Sami claims she was trying to be a responsible parent. Eric argues that she wasn't respecting her daughter's wishes. Sami complains about how Allie treated the adoption. Eric asks what Sami came for. Sami tells him that she needs her brother because her kids hate her and she needs him to help her fix this.

Xander wishes he could do something to make Sarah happy and take her pain away. Sarah tells him it's okay as there's nothing anyone could do. Xander suggests ordering champagne and toasting to Eli and Lani having twins as it might lift her spirits a bit. Sarah agrees that it's worth a try.

Eric tells Sami that the first step is to ask for forgiveness. Sami tries to argue but stops and says she's listening. Eric tells Sami to stop blaming Nicole for everything and admitting she was wrong. Sami acknowledges that is really hard for her. Eric encourages that she can do it. Sami agrees to swallow her pride and apologize to her kids. Sami decides she will go talk to Allie at the hospital but Eric stops her and says that's the last place she needs to go right now.

Allie asks what Nicole did to Eric. Nicole explains that when she found out Sarah was pregnant with his baby, she didn't tell him and she knows it was selfish but she kept her mouth shut because she was insecure. Allie understands that she was scared he might leave her when he found out. Nicole admits she was worried that he would feel obligated to make it work with Sarah but it was a terrible decision. Nicole says that's why she can't judge Will for keeping quiet and because Sami pushed him to keep the secret and she is his mom. Nicole adds that in spite of all, Will doesn't want to defy his mother and probably felt like he didn't have much choice. Allie guesses not. Nicole asks if Allie maybe could forgive Will now and change her mind about letting he and Sonny adopt the baby.

Will tells Sonny that he lied because he didn't want to drag him down into it. Sonny argues that he is his husband. Will apologizes as he didn't think it would go down like that. Sonny asks if he means he thought he wouldn't find out. Sonny asks about Arianna since they told her she was getting a little brother and he never would've done that if he knew this would blow up in their faces. Will tries to apologize but Sonny shouts that this was supposed to be a done deal and asks what he's supposed to tell Arianna now.

Gabi goes to Jake's room. Jake tells her that her timing sucks. Gabi says she needs his help then tells him to get dressed and come with her to the Bistro. Jake questions why. Gabi tells him that she will explain it on the way. Jake asks why he would do that. Gabi pleads with him to do this favor for her and says she will make it up to him and owe him one. Jake then agrees to do it. Gwen comes in and orders Jake to get his ass back in her bed. Gwen questions what Jake is doing with Gabi and tells him again to get back to bed. Gabi tells Gwen that he'll be back in a few hours because he's helping her with something. Gwen tells Jake to tell Gabi to screw off. Jake tells Gwen that he'll be back as soon as he can and promises they'll finish their movie. Gwen tells him that she's really not happy now and storms out. Jake tells Gabi that the favor she owes him just doubled. Gabi tells Jake to put on a suit and tie but Jake says he doesn't have one.

Allie tells Nicole that she loves Will but she doesn't think she can let him adopt her baby because it just feels wrong now. Allie thought they were on the same side and that he understood she did not want Sami involved but now she sees that Sami has way more control over Will than she thought. Nicole calls it just one time but Allie asks what about next time or what if Sami tells him how to raise the baby or convinces Will to give the baby to her. Allie says she won't put anything past Sami.

Sami thought Eric just told her to go ask Allie for forgiveness. Eric explains that Allie is in an emotional state right now and just gave birth to a child that she's about to give up for adoption so she needs space from her right now. Sami questions doing nothing. Eric points out that Sami can start her redemption with Will.

Will tells Sonny that Arianna will be fine as she wasn't even that excited about the baby in the first place since she wanted a puppy. Sonny argues that it's not about that but about their family. Sonny thought they promised to build their marriage on trust. Will knows that keeping Sami's secret was wrong and a terrible mistake. Sonny argues that it doesn't matter why, he lied to him. Sonny says their marriage was tested after what happened to his mom and now it's being tested again because of Will's mom.

Xander and Sarah have champagne. Sarah says she's starting to feel better now and thanks him. Sarah gets a text reminder to take her car to the shop. Xander asks what's wrong with it. Sarah tells him about a noise with the brakes. Xander offers to buy her a new car. Sarah calls that completely unnecessary. Xander worries about blowing this and says he just wants to make her happy so he can't help but go overboard. Xander then admits Sarah that he almost suggested she adopt one of Eli and Lani's twins but he knows that's ridiculous. Sarah agrees and says she has zero desire to adopt a baby right now then questions why they would even give up one of their children. Xander says he realizes what an insane thought it was but it just speaks to how desperate he is to try to find a way to take away her pain and make her happy. Sarah tells him to stop being so desperate to do that because it's not up to him. Sarah adds that being with him is fun and makes her happy which is all she needs tonight so she asks him to relax and be himself. Xander feels being himself is what got him in trouble in the first place. Sarah says that's not true but Xander feels it is. Sarah brings up that Victor told her she knew what she was getting into when she first got involved with him. Sarah knows he has an enormous heart so as long as he's honest with her, they're good. Xander then suggests they start over. Afterwards, they walk through the town square together. Sarah thanks him for a fun night and for being the Xander she knew. They joke about Xander not buying her a new car. Xander offers to drive her home but Sarah instead hoped she could spend the night with him. Xander asks if she's sure. Sarah tells him that she misses him. Xander says he misses her too as they kiss. They then head in to the Salem Inn together.

Gabi questions Jake not owning a suit. Jake tells her that he can go back to bed with Gwen if she wants. Jake tells her that he did own a suit but Gwen burned it back in Philly when she moved out which Gabi laughs at. Jake suggests wearing his leather jacket but Gabi says that won't work. Gabi then goes to the closet and gives him a suit jacket of Stefan's.

Will tells Sonny that this is not at all like what happened when Adrienne died as they barely made it through that and questions thinking this is anything close to that. Will admits he messed up and wishes he could blame it on Sami but it was his choice not to tell him and that was wrong. Will tells Sonny that he did it because he wanted them to have another kid and how happy it would make Sonny. Will asks Sonny if he can forgive him.

Sami questions Eric wanting her to apologize to Will. Sami thinks Allie's situation is more immediate. Eric thinks she needs more time. Sami just wants her to understand why she did what she did. Eric suggests letting her cool down. Sami then suggests Eric could talk to Allie since she trusts him way more than her. Sami asks if Eric will do that for her. Eric agrees to do that. Sami asks what he would say. Eric says nobody knows his sister better than he does or how much she loves her kids. Eric tells Sami that he wants her and her kids to be happy. Sami hugs him and thanks him, saying she loves him so much. Eric then adds that he also wants Sami to apologize to Nicole which she refuses to do, arguing that Nicole should be apologizing to her. Eric argues that Nicole just told Allie the truth. Sami says they know damn well that Nicole did it to make her daughter hate her. Sami declares that there is no way in hell that she's apologizing to Nicole for anything. Sami decides she doesn't need Eric's help with her kids as she'll do it herself and her way as she storms out of the apartment.

Nicole asks Allie what she will do about the baby. Allie says she asked Rafe again but he still turned her down. Nicole says that narrows down her options. Allie says she can talk to a social worker or an agency but she doesn't know where to start. Nicole has an idea and suggests it might help if Allie goes to visit her son. Allie questions how that would help. Nicole understands if it's still too painful but says it's up to her. Allie admits she wants to see his face but she doesn't know about holding him. Allie then asks if Nicole is trying to change her mind about keeping the baby. Nicole assures that she respects her decision but no matter where he goes, he's still her son. Allie asks if Nicole has seen him. Nicole confirms she and Eric went to visit him and he's beautiful. Nicole suggests seeing him could give Allie clarity or closure but if she doesn't want to, she'll let it go as it's up to her.

Will pleads with Sonny to forgive him. Sami enters and tells Sonny that if he needs someone to blame, he can blame her.

Gabi pleads Jake to put the suit on, promising it will be worth it to him. Jake remarks that he thought his life couldn't get any weirder as he takes the suit and exits the room. Gabi texts Li not to go as she'll be right back.

Xander and Sarah go to Xander's hotel room at the Salem Inn. Xander asks if she's sure she wants this. Sarah responds that she does want him as they kiss and undress then move to the bed to have sex. They lay in bed together afterwards. Sarah tells him that this just feels right. Xander feels the same. Sarah apologizes for shutting him out of her life for so long. Xander understands why she had to and promises to never do anything to jeopardize what they have again. Sarah says he better not as they continue kissing.

Gabi returns to the living room where Li tells her that he doesn't have time for these games. Gabi promises him that she has a flesh and blood DiMera for him to present to the client which Li questions. Jake then enters the room, leaving Li confused.

Sami asks Sonny not to blame Will as she is sorry for dragging him into this and he deserves his forgiveness. Sonny tells Sami that he doesn't have time for this right now because he has to go find Arianna to let her know that she's not getting a baby brother anytime soon. Will tries to stop him but Sami says to let him go as Sonny exits. Will comments that Sonny is very upset. Sami says she just learned that sometimes you have to give space to cool off. Will worries that Sonny might never forgive him. Sami encourages that he will because he loves him. Sami just hopes that Will can find a way to forgive her.

Nicole and Allie look in on the nursery at Allie's baby. Allie gets emotional as she states that's her son.
