Eli finishes a call with Hope at the police station, who informs him about Ben being found. After Eli hangs up, he informs Lani. Lani says that's great news and asks what happened. Eli explains that Hope and Ciara found Ben outside of New York City as Eve Donovan had kidnapped him. Lani asks if Eve acted alone. Eli says Hope didn't have time to fill in the details but the important thing is that Ben is alive and safe. Lani says that Eve will go to prison and then Ben and Ciara can have their happily ever after. Eli points out that they are finally off duty. Lani wants to go home and have dinner but she feels a twinge in her stomach.

At the hospital, Sarah gets a call from Xander, who is walking past the Brady Pub. Xander asks if it's a bad time. Sarah says she's just finishing up her very long shift. Xander asks if that means she will be free since she promised him a date after the wedding so he suggests tonight.

Jack is at the Brady Pub when he gets a call from Jennifer. Jack asks if she's boarding now but Jennifer tells him that she couldn't get a flight so she will be back in the morning. Jack says he can't wait and he loves her. Jack tells her to keep him posted as he hangs up and looks at the flowers he had got for Jennifer to come home to.

Chad meets Kate in the town square. Kate asks about him going off to Florida. Chad says he's going so Jennifer can come home but he has a little time before his flight. Chad asks Kate what's going on. Kate complains that Chad is leaving her in a house full of strangers. Kate mentions seeing Gwen in Lucas's bedroom and she said it was her room and that she's Chad's guest which he confirms. Kate questions why. Chad informs her that she can spy on Gabi.

Gwen sneaks in to Gabi's room at the DiMera Mansion and opens a drawer where she finds a framed photo of Stefan and her wedding ring. Gwen then hears Gabi asking Harold if he picked up her dry cleaning. Gabi then enters her room.

Eli and Lani talk about their baby. Lani insists that she felt something and feels it's too early for the baby to be kicking. Eli is sure it's nothing but decides to take her to the hospital just to be safe so they exit the station.

Xander asks Sarah if tonight works for their date. Sarah admits she's been looking forward to it more than she realized. Xander understands if she had a long day but Sarah agrees to go home to shower and change and then come meet him in the town square. Sarah tells him it's a date. Xander hangs up and yells in excitement. Jack comes out of the Pub and asks if he won the lottery. Xander says even better, he has a date with the woman he loves.

Kate goes over Jake and Gwen showing up at the DiMera Mansion to move in. Chad explains that Jake is a DiMera. Kate knows Gabi is a schemer but asks if there is something specific that Chad wants Gwen to be spying on. Chad asks if Kate is not paying attention since Gabi believes she's entitled to a position at DiMera and she's been trying to woo her way back into the company. Chad tells Kate about how he came home from Florida to find Gabi with Li Shin, toasting their successes. Kate questions why. Chad explains that Li had flown in town to meet with him about a potential investor but he was out of town so Gabi stepped in. Kate says they know Gabi always has an angle so maybe now that she found out Jake isn't Stefan, she will go after Li. Chad respond that this is why he could use an extra pair of eyes in Gwen. Kate questions Gwen having no problem doing this for him. Chad explains that Gwen hates Gabi for going after Jake.

Gwen hides in the closet when Gabi comes into her room. Gabi complains about her dry cleaning and then makes a call for Mr. Shin. Jake then enters the room in a towel. Gabi says she will call back because something just came up. Gabi asks Jake what he wants. Jake explains that he needs to borrow some soap because they are out. Gabi questions him being covered in grease. Jake tells her that he just came from work. Gabi thought he would've quit when he moved in to the mansion. Jake says he still needs spending money. Gabi doesn't know why Chad invited he and Gwen to stay. Gabi blames Gwen on them being out of soap and continues to complain about her, calling her a cheap whore. Gwen remains hiding in the closet and trying not to react.

Kate tells Chad that it is wrong of Gabi to take advantage of this situation with Abigail. Kate knows Abigail is more important to Chad than the company so she thinks it's possible that he neglected his duties a bit. Chad assures that he's perfectly capable of balancing his personal life and work life. Chad blames missing the meeting on his assistant but says it's not important. Kate tells Chad that he needs her help. Chad says he doesn't since she's already working for Abe. Chad adds that he's told Shin that he's going out of town and has another meeting with an investor later in the week. Chad assures there's no chance of miscommunication this time so he can enjoy some quality time with his wife.

Steve and Kayla kiss at home. They start to head to the bedroom but Roman knocks on the door, saying he knows Kayla is in there and she can't ignore him. Kayla then answers the door. Roman congratulates them both and hugs them, saying it's incredible that they are back together.

Jack thought Xander gave up on Sarah since he was saying he thought it'd be for the best. Xander says that Jack told him things could eventually work out and he was right. Jack asks what happened. Xander explains that he thought he lost Sarah for good but everything changed for the better right after she accused him of sleeping with a hooker.

Eli and Lani go to the hospital. Lani tells Sarah about the weird twinge she felt. Eli says they understand if Sarah was about to leave but Sarah says she won't go anywhere until they figure it out. Sarah goes to get Lani a room. Eli assures Lani that everything will be okay. Lani points out they don't know that so she's really scared. Eli hugs her and reminds her they are in this together.

Xander explains to Jack that Sarah saw him getting a massage in his hotel room and thought he was with a hooker but after they cleared all that up is when he realized she still cared about him.

Sarah reminds Lani that everything was fine when she examined her after the explosion. Eli guesses it's probably nothing. Sarah checks her out and says this wasn't what she was expecting.

Jake tells Gabi that he didn't come in to listen to her trash his girlfriend. Gabi says she just thinks he could do so much better. Jake responds that he didn't come for advice on his love life either. Gabi asks if he loves Gwen. Jake says where he comes from, guys don't talk about their feelings. Gabi points out that he opened up to her after his mother died. Jake says he was feeling lost and promises to never let that happen again. Gabi then decides to walk him out to show him where the soap is. Gwen comes out of the closet and complains to herself about Gabi. Gwen remarks that if anyone's a whore, it's Gabi as she saw how she was looking at her man. Gwen then gets a call from Chad, who asks if there's anything with Gabi. Gwen says there's nothing but she did hear her make a call to a Mr. Shin's office but she got interrupted and hung up. Chad informs Gwen that he's leaving town tonight so she is to keep him posted. Chad hangs up as Kate comes back to their table and says Abe just wants to meet to go over speech. Chad informs Kate that Gwen heard Gabi calling Mr. Shin so he knows she's up to something.

Gabi calls Mr. Shin's office, pretending to be Chad's assistant and claiming there was a change in plans for the investor meeting to move it to tonight. Gabi suggests Mr. Shin to come to the DiMera Mansion and then the meeting at the Bistro which they agree to.

Kayla and Steve explain to Roman how they reunited at the airport. Roman tells them that he couldn't be happier for both of them. Roman talks about going fishing. Steve and Kayla suggest they talk about it tomorrow but Roman insists.

Xander tells Jack about not wanting to push his luck with Sarah but then she mentioned getting ready for Ben and Ciara's wedding so he suggested they go together and she said yes. Xander says that being at the wedding with Sarah was incredible but the best part was right after the church blew up. Jack questions that. Xander says it was awful but he carried Allie to the hospital so it was an added bonus that Sarah found it heroic and now they are having dinner tonight.

Eli asks Sarah what's going on. Sarah says to give her a second and then assures that everything is fine. Sarah says she was just confirming something she suspected which Eli questions. Sarah confirms the baby is fine and then reveals that Eli and Lani are having twins. Eli and Lani are excited but can't believe it. Eli asks how they didn't know sooner. Sarah admits it is rare but not unheard of to be surprised this far along. Sarah shows them the babies on the monitor so the twinge was probably just one of them kicking. Sarah assures they are both perfect and she's sorry she didn't catch it sooner. Sarah mentions having dinner plans and asks if they have any questions. Lani says no so Sarah says she will see them at their next appointment and leaves them with a picture of their babies as she then exits.

Xander tells Jack that this feels like the moment he's been waiting for and praying for as he really thinks he and Sarah might be getting back together. Jack says he's so happy for him. Xander says he's gone from thinking there's no chance she would speak to him again to feeling there's a real hope they could be a couple again and tonight is his chance to seal the deal to get the love of his life back. Jack notes that he has a lot riding on dinner tonight. Xander says it's just his future happiness and worries about if he blows it.

Kate asks what makes Chad think he can trust Gwen to keep an eye on Gabi. Chad says they both hate Gabi and want to bring her down. Kate asks what if Gwen wants more, like a piece of the DiMera fortune. Chad says he'll just worry about one gold digger at a time since Gwen is an amateur compared to Gabi. Kate tells Chad that she will keep an eye on things while he's away. Chad appreciates that but he hopes Gwen will do just fine.

Gwen pours a drink in the living room as Jake walks in. Gwen thinks Jake should quit his job and ask Chad for money. Jake doesn't want hand outs. Gwen argues that he's a DiMera so he's entitled to that money. Jake says they can just enjoy living in the mansion. Gwen questions how she can enjoy it when Gabi treats her like rubbish all the time. Jake asks how this became about Gabi all of a sudden. Gwen reveals that she knows he was in Gabi's room half naked so he can't deny it. Jake tells her that he was looking for a bar of soap and questions how Gwen knew that. Gwen tells him that she was exploring the house and was upstairs when she saw them leaving Gabi's room with Jake in just a towel. Jake repeats that he was looking for a bar of soap and assures there's nothing going on between he and Gabi. Gwen argues that Gabi wants there to be which means she wants her out of the way. Gwen swears if Gabi insults her again, she's going down. Jake asks why she didn't tell her that when she saw them upstairs. Gwen says she didn't want to give Gabi the satisfaction. Gabi walks in and questions that.

Roman informs Kayla and Steve about Allie having her baby. Kayla says they heard and congratulates him. Roman says the circumstances aren't the best and complicated but there's nothing wrong with another member of the Brady family. Roman mentions heading to the hospital to see his great grandson after he leaves her. Steve encourages him to get there now and gives him a box of cigars. Kayla suggests sending them pictures. Roman congratulates them and exits. They joke about not inviting Roman to stay as they kiss.

Xander tells Jack that his entire future with Sarah is riding on tonight. Jack encourages that he won't screw it up. Xander admits he doesn't have a plan and just told Sarah to meet him in the town square. Xander worries that he asked her for the dinner but he has no dinner. Jack tells him that the still has plenty of time. Xander agrees that it's not too late to pull something together. Jack suggests reservations at the Bistro. Xander wants to fly to Paris and book the Eiffel Tower. Jack tells him not to overdo it and just keep it simple. Jack offers Xander the flowers he was going to give Jennifer but she couldn't make her flight. Xander decides another woman's flowers is maybe not the best idea. Jack agrees. Xander says he should get going. Jack wishes him luck. Xander thanks Jack for the advice and says it's good to have a mate as he gives him a hug. Xander then walks off.

Lani tells Eli that having twins is exciting but a lot to process. Lani wonders where they will put a second crib and how she breast feeds twins. Eli insists that people have twins and do fine. Lani says she thought something was wrong with her baby but it turns out they are getting two little angels to love. Eli says in his case it's three angels. Lani calls it great that they are having twins. Eli agrees as they hug.

Gabi questions Gwen about not getting any satisfaction. Gwen tells Gabi that she saw her and Jake leaving her room earlier but she'll just let it go because she has nothing to be jealous of. Gabi tells Gwen that Harold has better things to do than wait on her. Gwen says she doesn't mind and grabs a bottle of champagne. Gwen suggests she and Jake go get dirty as they exit the room together.

Kayla tells Steve that at some point they will have to invite people over. Steve says not now because they have to make up for lost time. Kayla agrees as they kiss and then head to the bedroom.

Roman and Kate look in on Allie's baby, their great grandson, at the hospital nursery. Roman gives Kate a cigar. Kate says it's hard to believe they are great grandparents again. They tell each other they don't look old enough.

Lani tells Eli that she's so lucky. Eli says they both are. Lani knows it will be overwhelming but they will have so much support. Lani can't wait to tell their family as they will be over the moon. Lani knows it will be twice the work but also twice the love and joy. They agree that they are doubly blessed. Lani tells Eli that she loves him so much. Eli says he loves her too as they kiss.

Jack goes back into the Brady Pub and sends a text on his phone. Jennifer then comes out from the back and surprises him, telling him that someone didn't show for their flight so she got the last seat. Jack hugs her and welcomes her home.

Chad enters the living room of the DiMera Mansion where Gabi is pouring a drink. Gabi asks about him going back to Florida already. Chad tells her to say hello to Shin for him since he's sure the second he leaves, she'll be working him again. Gabi asks what she can possibly do if he has everything under control. Chad tells her to have a good evening and exits the mansion.

Xander paces in the town square, worrying if Sarah isn't going to show up but then she does.
