Lucas goes to see Allie at the hospital and apologizes for missing the birth of her baby. Lucas blames Kate telling him to put his phone on silent. Allie tells him it's okay but Lucas feels it's not because he missed everything. Lucas calls himself a terrible dad. Allie tells him that he couldn't have known the baby would come early. Lucas wishes he could've been there for her unless she didn't want him there because of how he reacted when he found out she was pregnant. Allie assures that she's not mad at him for that and is happy that he's here now. Allie adds that the only person she doesn't want around her right now is her mother.

Sonny tells Will that he's going to find Sami to tell her to stay the hell out of their business. Will suggests they stop and talk about it. Sonny argues that everyone in his family is afraid of Sami but he's not and she's going to pay for what she did. Sami then arrives at the hospital and greets them. Sonny asks if she's here to cause even more trouble. Sami asks what's wrong. Sonny tells her that she screwed everything up for them. Sami claims not to know what he's talking about. Sonny tells her to drop the innocent act because they know exactly what she did.

At the police station, Rafe gets a text from Nicole that Allie had her baby and that it's not too late to change his mind. Rafe then gets a call from Hope, who asks if everything is okay. Rafe informs her that Allie just had her baby. Hope thought she wasn't due yet. Rafe says it came early but he's healthy so they are doing fine. Hope calls that great news and tells Rafe that she's thrilled for him. Rafe then reveals to Hope that he declined Allie's baby to adopt her baby which surprises her. Rafe says he doesn't want to talk about it right now. Rafe asks if Hope was able to question Eve yet. Hope says they haven't had any luck finding her but she thinks their luck is about to change.

At the restaurant in New York, Chloe tells Shawn, Claire, and Ciara that she has no idea where Eve is and they don't really talk much anymore as they drifted apart. Chloe asks why they are looking for her. Shawn explains that they have reason to believe that she was responsible of a bombing at a church in Salem. Ciara adds that she then kidnapped her husband.

Eve and Vincent stand Ben up to face the mannequin with the video image of Ciara over it's face. Eve puts the tie in Ben's hand and encourages him to kill Ciara to end his pain. Ben looks at the neck tie and hears Ciara's voice asking him not to kill her.

Sami questions why Sonny is attacking her like this. Sonny asks why Sami didn't call them last night. Sami says her grandson was born and she was excited. Sonny questions her being unable to call and pressuring Eric not to call as well. Sami says they are all here now and suggests they go check on her grandson. Sonny says not until Sami understands what she's done to them. Sonny shows Sami the adoption papers and says Allie refused to sign because she's having second thoughts about giving them the baby ever since finding out that Sami was trying to control the situation when it's none of her damn business. Sonny tells Sami not to even try to deny it because they know she bullied Rafe into dropping out of the adoption. Sami asks how he knows. Will informs her that Nicole told them.

Allie tells Lucas that she's sick of hearing that her mother loves her and says it's not enough. Allie adds that Sami would be a decent mother if she respected her kids. Allie tells Lucas about Sami pushing Rafe not to adopt her baby and then not telling her because she knew she'd be so angry. Allie asks why Lucas isn't saying anything. Allie then realizes that Lucas knew. Lucas admits he didn't find out until afterwards. Allie guesses this is what they were discussing when she saw them talking which Lucas confirms. Allie brings up Lucas saying they were talking about Claire and questions why he lied to her.

Hope asks Rafe if there's no new leads in Salem either. Rafe says not yet and asks how Ciara is doing, guessing that she's going through Hell. Hope tells him that they are all determined to find Ben and bring him home. Rafe sends his love. Hope thanks him and says she will keep him posted as she hangs up. Hope then heads back into the restaurant where Chloe talks about how evil bombing a wedding and kidnapping the groom is. Chloe says that couldn't have been Eve. Hope questions if she's sure about that since Eve has wanted to avenge her daughter's death from the moment she lost her and found the perfect opportunity at Ben's wedding. Hope talks about Ben and Ciara just getting married and about to start their happy life together so they can imagine how insane that must have made Eve. Hope thinks Eve was more than capable of orchestrating the bomb and then kidnapping Ben as she would do anything to destroy his happiness. Hope guesses Chloe agrees with her on that.

Ben continues staring at the video image of Ciara on the mannequin, saying she knows he won't hurt her because he loves her as Eve and Vincent watch on.

Chloe doesn't believe Eve is capable of bombing a church. Shawn questions how well she actually knows her. Chloe says they spent a lot of time together in New York and bonded over their love of music. Hope asks when she last saw her. Chloe says they've been busy so it's been awhile.

Eve asks Vincent why Ben hasn't done it yet. Vincent assures that he will. Ben then wraps the neck tie around the video screen on the mannequin as if it is Ciara. Ben imagines Ciara telling him to run so he takes off and runs away.

Sami argues that she should've known it was Nicole who is always trying to turn people against her. Sonny tells her that this isn't about her feud with Nicole but about he and Will and something that was extremely important to them that she ruined. Sami asks what he's talking about. Sonny tells her that she ruined it for them but also Arianna because they already told her that she was getting a little brother and now it might not happen because of her. Sonny blames Sami sticking her nose where it doesn't belong and screwing everything up for them. Sonny asks what Sami has to say for herself. Sami responds by asking how it's her fault.

Allie questions why Lucas lied to her. Lucas explains that he didn't want to make trouble and Sami swore him to secrecy. Allie questions him being okay with that and asks why he just didn't keep her secret. Allie asks why everyone is so afraid of Sami. Lucas says he just didn't want to stir things up and upset Allie. Allie says to look how that turned out. Lucas wishes he could do it over but Allie tells him that the damage is done. Allie then remarks that the only person here for her is her brother as Will is the only person she can count on through all of this. Lucas tells her that he's here for her now but Allie tells him to leave. Lucas apologizes and then exits the room. Allie grabs her phone and calls Rafe. Rafe congratulates her on having the baby. Allie confirms she did and that he's perfect. Allie tells Rafe that she really needs to talk to him and asks him to come to the hospital. Rafe agrees to do that and says he'll see her soon as they hang up.

Sami questions how it's her fault that Allie didn't sign the papers when Allie does what she wants. Sonny argues that Sami manipulated Allie's decision behind her back. Will reminds Sonny that Sami wants them to have the baby which Sonny questions since she bullied Rafe into telling Allie that he didn't want to adopt the baby and now she's having second thoughts because she knows it wasn't Rafe's decision. Sonny asks if Sami wanted them not to have the baby either all along. Will interjects that there is something he needs to say.

Rafe goes to see Allie at the hospital. Rafe asks about her and the baby. Allie says they are fine. Rafe congratulates her again and says he can't wait to meet him. Rafe asks what she wanted to talk to him about. Allie informs him that she knows that Sami talked him out of adopting her baby.

Chloe mentions Eve getting back in touch with her in January when she moved to New York. Ciara pleads with Chloe to tell them that anything that might help. Chloe admits she noticed Eve had changed in that she always had a dark side but she had a kindness and humor that she saw. Chloe says this time when she moved back she was just different, like her light finally went out.

Vincent and Eve catch Ben before he can get far. Vincent hits him with his baton and says he's never seen anything like Ben's resistance so he must be crazy about his wife. Eve says of course he is but Vincent swore he could turn this around. Vincent assures that he will but they need to intensify his treatments. Eve demands Vincent do that now. Vincent declares that Ben Weston will kill Ciara Brady.

Chloe talks about how it got more and more difficult to spend time with Eve as it was depressing to be around someone so bitter. Chloe says all Eve would want to talk about was how people treated her poorly and it was exhausting. Chloe says she tried to encourage Eve to more positive things but she wasn't interested and seemed to stay in a dark place. Ciara asks if Eve ever talked about Ben. Chloe notes that losing her daughter was the worst tragedy of Eve's life so she did talk about Ben. Chloe says Eve would say things like wanting Ben to burn in Hell because she wanted so badly to avenge Paige's death and she knows Eve wanted Ben to pay for what he had done. Chloe hates even thinking that Eve bombed the church and then kidnapped Ben but the more she thinks about it, she thinks it's possible.

Sami stops Will and says now is not the moment to defend her. Sonny asks if she's going to defend herself or if she has an excuse for telling Eric not to call them. Sonny questions if she hoped Allie would decide to keep the baby. Sami responds that she made no secret that her first choice would be for her grandson to be raised by his own mother but she was trying to get Allie to sign the adoption papers when she went into labor so they would get the child. Sonny questions believing her. Sami tells him to believe what he wants but that Will knows the truth. Sami adds that she can prove it by getting Allie to sign the adoption papers right now.

Rafe tells Allie that he and Sami did talk about the adoption and she did make it clear that she thought it was a bad idea. Allie questions him not telling her. Rafe says he didn't want to upset her. Allie says that's not a good enough reason. Rafe says it was 100% true that he was having a rough time getting over losing David. Rafe talks about almost getting rid of the last of David's things but the one thing he hasn't been able to get rid of is that he promised to take David to the zoo but the day they were going to go, it was raining, so they painted his bedroom wall with animals instead. Rafe explains that after David left, he went and got paint to paint over it but he hasn't been able to do it. Rafe mentions that Gabi said he should keep it so maybe he's right. Allie thanks Rafe for being honest with her and says that is one of the many reasons she knows he would make a great dad.

Chloe admits Eve talked incessantly about how Ben killed her daughter and that she was horrified that he wasn't executed. Chloe mentions Eve getting drunk and making a scene at a restaurant one night. Chloe talks about urging Eve to talk to a therapist but she refused and that's when she realized it was too toxic to be around her so she distanced herself. Chloe adds that she saw Eve a few months later and she seemed different again, like she had a new purpose in life. Shawn asks what changed. Chloe responds that Eve said she felt like her life was finally coming back together again because she met someone but she wouldn't give any details. Chloe notes that Eve lit up when she talked about him and that his name was Vincent.

Vincent tells Eve that they will give this dose a few minutes and then resume the process as they have Ben strapped back down. Eve talks about how it wasn't long ago that Ben was strapped down like this about to be executed before Ciara came to the rescue. Ben responds that he did not kill his sister. Eve points out that he did kill her daughter and for that, he deserves to die. Ben yells at her to kill him then and shock his heart until it stops because he's the one who hurt her and murdered Paige so he's the one who should pay. Ben tells Eve to get justice for her daughter but leave Ciara alone.

Ciara asks Chloe about Vincent. Chloe says that Eve mentioned that he works at a clinic outside the city called Daybreak. Claire looks it up on her phone and finds out it's less than a 30 minute drive. Ciara jumps up ready to go. Shawn stops her and says they don't even know if Vincent will be there. Ciara argues that it's worth a try while Claire points out that a clinic can't be dangerous. Ciara adds that it's their only lead and could really help them out. Hope agrees to go with her. Ciara thanks her. Claire wants to go too but Hope instructs her to stay and wait until the CSI calls in to let them know if any evidence is found at Eve's. Ciara declares that she and Hope will go find Vincent. Shawn tells them to be safe as they hurry out.

Sonny stops Sami and says she's not going to do anything further to screw this up for them so they are going to talk to Allie. Sonny says they will find out what Allie wants and they will support whatever decision she makes. Sami responds that it works for her because she feels confident that Allie will make the right choice.

Allie tells Rafe that when she thinks about him raising her child, it all just makes sense. Allie says when she feels sad or worried, she thinks about Rafe and how lucky any kid would be to have him as their dad and that cheers her up. Rafe says that's really kind of her. Allie says that is how she feels. Allie asks Rafe if Sami hadn't insisted on him saying no, would he have said yes to adopting her baby?

Eve tells Ben that she is so tempted to put him out of his misery but that would be too damn easy. Eve plays a song that her daughter Paige wrote before Ben killed her and says she never got to finish it and write the lyrics because Ben took her voice away. Eve says she will always blame Ben for that and she will blame the world for letting him get away with it. Eve screams that she doesn't give a damn who she hurts because she wants Ben and the rest of the world to feel her pain. Ben responds that hurting him or Ciara won't bring Paige back. Eve screams that she knows she's going to suffer for the rest of her life and the pain will never go away. Eve calls Ben a murderer, who was going to spend the rest of his life happy with the woman he loves but not this time. Eve orders Vincent to push the button to inject another dose into Ben.

Lucas and Sami look in on Allie's baby in the nursery. Sami asks how Allie is doing. Lucas admit she's not happy with either of them. Sami says she's sorry about that. Lucas says some of it has been his fault too. Sami says she knows she's the culprit. Lucas suggests just focusing on their grandchild and goes to find someone to let them in to hold him.

Will and Sonny enter Allie's room. They say they heard about what happened from Eric and Nicole. Sonny says he read Sami the riot act as she has no business interfering in the decision she makes for her child. Allie agrees. Sonny promises that her son will be loved and cherished as they feel so grateful that she has chosen them to raise her child. Sonny says all that's left is for her to sign the adoption papers and they will take care of everything else.

Claire wonders why they haven't heard anything yet. Shawn says it hasn't been that long. Chloe says she has to get going to pick up Parker from her parents. Shawn thanks Chloe for helping. Chloe tells Claire to call anytime she needs someone to talk to or help with her music. Chloe hopes that Eve is not behind the church bombing and Ben's disappearance. Chloe hopes that Eve finds peace somehow. Shawn tells her to get home safe as she exits.

Ben screams in pain as Vincent injects higher doses into Ben while Eve urges him to pour it on. Eve continues playing the slideshow of photos from Ben and Ciara's wedding.

Sami looks in on Allie's baby and talks about making Allie so mad today but says someday they will understand that everything she did was to keep the baby in their family. Rafe comes over and tells Sami that Allie wanted to talk to him about her baby.

Allie tells Will and Sonny that she's sorry but she's not signing the adoption papers.

Claire complains about not hearing from Hope and Ciara. Shawn is sure they are okay and they just have to be patient. Claire admits she's scared for Ciara and is starting to think that it would be better for Ben if Eve wasn't the one who took him.

Ciara and Hope arrive at Daybreak Clinic and find that it seems totally abandoned. Ciara finds the tie that Ben wore to their wedding outside where Ben had fallen when he tried to escape earlier. Hope and Ciara then head in to the main room..
