Ben dreams of being in bed with Ciara after their wedding until he is woken up by Vincent splashing water on him. Ben is now strapped to a chair with wires connected to him as Eve comes over and greets him.

Will joins Sonny in the living room of the Kiriakis Mansion. Sonny talks about working through the adoption forms. Will thought Justin said it was straightforward. Sonny reveals these papers are for getting a puppy and jokes about all the questions. Will thanks him for doing that. They joke about Arianna bribing them to get a puppy. Will offers to help Sonny but he gets a phone call from Lucas, who informs him that Allie had the baby. Sonny gets up and hugs Will.

Eric gets up from bed and tells Nicole that they still have their honeymoon so she can come back to bed but Nicole is looking over the adoption papers that Justin drew up for Will and Sonny. Nicole notes that Allie did not sign them.

Belle goes home to John and Marlena's, finishing a phone call with Shawn. Belle hangs up and informs Sami that Shawn and Hope went to New York with Claire and Ciara because they think they have a lead on finding Ben.

Shawn, Hope, Ciara, and Claire eat together at a restaurant in New York. Claire complains of the food. Hope notes that there are no records of Eve flying to Salem unless she used a different name. Claire complains about Eve blowing up a church and kidnapping Ciara's husband. Ciara gets upset and walks away so Hope goes to comfort her. Claire tells Shawn that they need to find Ben or else Ciara's going to lose it.

Eve asks Ben if he had sweet dreams because his nightmare is just beginning.

Will thanks Lucas for letting them know and says they wil see him soon as he hangs up. Will informs Sonny that Allie went in to premature labor but everything is fine. Will reveals to Sonny that it's a baby boy. Sonny says it will be amazing to have one of each and they leave the room to go tell Arianna that she has a baby brother.

Nicole tells Eric that she feels awful. Eric feels Allie had a right to know the truth about what Sami did. Nicole worries that Will and Sonny had their heart set on getting the baby so it's so unfair. Eric blames Sami for not backing off when it was Allie's decision to make. Eric adds that he's beginning to understand why Allie ran away in the first place but he's surprised that Rafe caved. Nicole explains that Rafe wanted to make sure he wasn't replacing David and then along came Sami. Nicole declares that the one good thing is that no matter who Allie picks, the baby will be loved and happy but if she does decide on Rafe then it will be a mess for Will and Sonny. Eric notes that Will said they would support whatever decision Allie made about the baby and that Rafe said if he was chosen, he'd make sure Will and Sonny were involved in the baby's life. Eric doesn't think it will end well for Sami as she could lose Allie and Will but also her grandson. Nicole remarks that Sami will blame her.

Sami tells Belle that if Eve did blow up the church, she gets it which Belle questions. Sami brings up Ben killing Eve's daughter and he gets to get married and live happily ever after so she can understand why Eve wouldn't be okay with that. Sami relates to if she didn't get Will back. Belle brings up all the other people in the church. Sami says she isn't saying it's right but losing a kid kills something inside of you. Sami asks what they will do when they find Eve. Belle says she doesn't know anything other than that Shawn and Hope are worried about Ciara while Claire is determined to redeem herself to Ciara.

Claire apologizes to Ciara and says she's mad and scared. Hope suggests they all try to calm down. Ciara just wants to get this over with, go to Eve's address, and get her to tell them where Ben is. Hope responds that she's sorry but that's not going to happen.

Eve reveals to Ben that he is being injected with a mind altering drug through the IV that he is hooked up to. Eve waves a neck tie in front of him. Ben asks what she wants. Eve reminds him that she is turning him back in to the neck tie killer. Ben says she can't. Eve asks when he last took his meds and says now he has new meds along with other special surprises designed to break him down, to make him hers and to make him choke the life out of Ciara like he did to Paige. Eve wants Ben to know how she's feeling.

Hope declares that she and Shawn will talk to Eve while Claire and Ciara stay behind. Shawn agrees that they would be a liability as they are too involved and emotionally shaky. Claire tries to argue but Hope says if they find out Eve was involved in the explosion, they will let the police handle it. Claire and Ciara wish them luck as Hope and Shawn then exit. Claire gets up and decides they have to follow them which Ciara questions.

Belle leaves a message for Shawn looking for an update. Sami notes that is the third call she's made in an hour. Belle admits she's worried and she didn't want Claire to go. Sami says it's good that she let her go or else she would push her away and that is awful.

Sonny and Will go to the hospital. Sonny feels Arianna seemed happy about having a brother. Will gets a text from his source at the police department that they haven't found Ben yet but they apparently have a lead.

Ciara stops Claire and says they are not going to follow Hope and Shawn. Claire asks why not, arguing that they didn't come all the way to New York to sit in a coffee shop. Ciara agrees with Hope and asks Claire to just sit with her. Claire apologizes and agrees to whatever she wants as she just wants to help and doesn't want to upset her anymore. Ciara assures she's helping just by being there and thanks her. Ciara wonders if Eve did this and worries that it could be too late. Claire tells her not to go there, pointing out that if Eve wanted Ben dead, she could've just killed him at the wedding instead of taking him away so if she's behind this, she took him for a reason.

Ben tells Eve that he knows he hurt her but Ciara didn't. Ben tells Eve that she can kill him and just leave Ciara alone. Eve talks about going to her daughter's grave and cursing God when Ben was let go because she couldn't understand how Ben could be free while Paige was dead. Eve says she learned maybe Ben needed to find love and that's why he had to live, so he could then know what it felt like when true love was killed. Eve declares that God gave him Ciara so that she could make him kill her and then he can stand at her grave and curse God, just like she did.

Belle questions Sami not telling her that Allie had her baby and asks if everything is okay. Sami tells her the baby is fine and Allie is okay too. Sami explains that she's happy but she's also sad because Allie didn't want her there and asked Nicole to be her birthing coach. Belle says that doesn't negate the fact that Sami has a grandbaby and Allie is fine. Sami wants to focus on that but it wasn't just that Allie didn't want here there, but that she doesn't want her in her life at all. Sami admits it's her own fault.

Will and Sonny look in the nursery at Allie's baby and agree he looks perfect despite being premature. Will calls him their son and says they are so incredibly lucky. Eric and Nicole arrive and greet them. Will wants to introduce them to their son. Nicole hugs Will and congratulates them. Eric then reveals that they already met the baby as Nicole was Allie's birthing coach. Sonny questions them being there and not calling them. Eric explains that Allie went into labor at their apartment and everything was happening so fast. Will asks why they didn't call after the baby was born. Nicole then reveals Sami told them not to.

Ben states that he will never hurt Ciara. Eve says they will have to see about that. Eve reveals that Vincent is a protege of Dr. Rolf, who was doing interesting things with mind control before the FDA shut him down. Eve tells Ben that he will go through Hell and be dying to do whatever she wants him to and he will have no will of his own whatsoever. Eve wants to get this party started as Vincent prepares to shock Ben.

Ciara asks Claire to stop staring at her phone since Hope and Shawn just left and they have no idea if Eve is even in New York. Claire says she just hates waiting. Ciara says this has to work because she has this horrible feeling that Ben is running out of time.

Vincent puts a device around Ben's head and says this isn't personal as he's a scientist, who dedicated his life to learning about human behavior. Vincent shows Ben the buttons, a green one that controls the dose of a pleasure enhancing drug and a red one that serves a dose of painful electric shocks. Vincent warns Ben that struggling will only lead to more pain as he presses the red button to demonstrate as Eve watches on.

Sami tells Belle that part of what killed her is how Nicole has always taken pleasure in causing her pain. Belle doesn't think that's true anymore since Nicole is devoted to Eric so she wouldn't want to hurt her. Sami thinks it still brings pleasure and blames Nicole for Allie freezing her out. Sami explains that Nicole told Allie something that she did which made Allie really mad at her. Belle asks what Sami did this time.

Will doesn't understand why Sami wouldn't want them here when the baby was born. Nicole suggests maybe Sami thought that Allie would bond with the baby and decide to keep him. Will thinks back to Sami telling him to keep his mouth shut about her talking Rafe in to not adopting the baby. Sonny states that Allie made it very clear that she wasn't ready to be a mother so he doesn't care what Sami wants, Allie wants them to have the baby and it's a done deal. Nicole says not exactly which Will questions. Nicole says there is something she has to tell them.

Eve tells Ben they are going to take him down a visual trip on memory lane by projecting images on the screen while Vincent tracks Ben's reactions and eventually controls his reactions. They begin by showing a picture of Ciara at their wedding.

Claire tries to comfort Ciara as she cries. Claire asks if she wants to take a walk but Ciara says she will be okay. Claire encourages that Ciara is doing great considering what she's going through. Ciara wishes she believed Claire and kept her as her maid of honor. Claire responds that she's standing up for her now.

Ben questions the photo of Ciara. Eve explains that she was at the wedding, watching from the shadows and took some photos for her own purposes as they go through a slideshow of Ben and Ciara saying their vows.

Hope and Shawn arrive at Eve's apartment in New York.

Will questions why Allie didn't sign the adoption papers. Nicole acknowledges that they need to know. Eric explains that she was about to sign the papers but she found out that Sami convinced Rafe not to adopt the baby.

Belle questions Sami getting Rafe to go along with her and then getting Will and Lucas to promise not to tell Allie that she went behind her back to interfere in the biggest decision she had to make. Sami argues that Allie wasn't thinking straight. Belle says it was Allie's decision to make and not what Sami wants. Belle tells Sami that she really screwed up this time. Sami blames Nicole for telling Allie while Belle argues that Allie deserved to know. Sami notes that Allie doesn't know that Lucas and Will covered for her. Belle tells her that she just isolated her from her family and got her father and brother to conspire against her. Sami feels she can explain it to her. Belle thinks it will be a long while before Allie wants to see her, much less forgive her.

Vincent monitors that Ben finds the wedding photos pleasurable. Ben responds that he loves to see Ciara happy. Eve states that's about to change as Vincent hits the red button to send electric shocks through Ben. They then display a photo of Serena Mason's dead body as Vincent asks if Ben likes that picture.

Shawn and Hope return to the restaurant and tell Claire and Ciara that they convinced the landlord to let them in but Eve wasn't there. Hope says they found something but they aren't sure what. Hope mentions being there earlier this year and Eve's place was neat and clean but today it was dirty and messy. Shawn adds that the landlord mentioned not seeing Eve for weeks. Ciara questions where the hell she is.

Vincent continues shocking Ben as Eve continues the slideshow of images of Ben and Ciara's wedding and then of Eve daughter's Paige's dead body which brings tears to Eve's eyes.

Sami argues that she didn't blackmail Rafe or pay him off as he was having doubts before she ever spoke to him. Belle talks about Sami trying to run everybody's life and then express remorse but then she justifies everything she did. Sami insists that her remorse is heartfelt and she needs to explain that to Allie because Rafe really was having second thoughts. Belle argues that the point is Sami took matters into her own hands so she has to give Allie space before she makes a bad situation worse. Sami asks how Belle would feel if someone told her she had to give Claire space. Belle points out that she just did as she had to. Sami responds that she can't just leave it like that so she has to go make Allie see that everything she did was for her. Sami then rushes out of the house, leaving Belle to wonder why she even tries.

Sonny argues that none of this makes sense since Allie told them that Rafe said he wasn't ready to be a parent again. Nicole explains that Sami bullied Rafe into backing off just like she bullied Eric into not calling them. Eric states that they have to go see Allie so he suggests they take a step back and take a breath as it could all work out. Eric and Nicole then head to Allie's room. Sonny tells Will that he knows Sami is his mother but he thanks God that Will is nothing like her..

Shawn calls in a favor to send a friend of his from the NYPD CSI unit to go to Eve's place to see if they can find anything linking her to the bomb. Claire points out that they still don't know where Eve is. Shawn thinks he might know somebody who might be able to help them.

Eve asks Ben if he'd like to see Ciara again and says they can arrange that. Eve and Vincent then bring a mannequin in a wedding dress in front of Ben with a screen over it's face. They project video of Ciara on the screen while Vincent pushes the button to further inject Ben's IV.

Sonny tells Will that he's going to find Sami to tell her to stay the hell out of their business. Will suggests they stop and talk about it. Sonny argues that everyone in his family is afraid of Sami but he's not and she's going to pay for what she did. Sami then arrives at the hospital.

Chloe shows up at the restaurant in New York. Shawn thanks her for coming down. Chloe asks how she can help. Claire tells her that they need to find Eve. Ciara adds that it's a matter of life and death.

Eve and Vincent stand Ben up to face the mannequin with the video image of Ciara over it's face. Eve puts the tie in Ben's hand and encourages him to kill Ciara to end his pain.
