Chad is at the DiMera Mansion on the phone with Abigail. Chad says he'll be on a plane back to Florida in a couple hours. Abigail wants him to stay in Salem but Chad assures the kids are fine and asks her not to fight him on this. Chad tells her that he's coming back to be with her until she gets better then they will come back together. Chad says he loves her and will see her soon as he hangs up. Gabi then walks in and brings up when Chad said he was serving her last meal before she went back to jail so now she's serving him. Gabi knocks over the pieces from the chess table and revels the DNA test results which she tells Chad proves that Jake Lambert is his brother Stefan.

Jake/Stefan wakes up in bed with Gwen. Gwen greets him and asks if he forgot she was there. He says of course not and that he remembers everything as they kiss. Gwen tells him that making up with him always makes all the fighting worth it as they continue kissing.

Ciara and Ben walk through the town square, talking about getting married in a week. Ciara tells him that everything is on track as they are good on food, flowers, and music. Claire approaches and says she needs to talk to them now about Ciara's wedding dress.

Eli and Lani are asleep in bed when Lani has a nightmare about Vivian showing up at their door and shooting her. Lani then wakes up in a panic. Eli asks her what's wrong and if it's the baby. Lani tells him that it was a nightmare about Vivian coming back to kill her. Eli holds her and assures that Vivian is locked up in a cell so she won't hurt anyone else ever again.

Vivian is in the interrogation room when Kate enters to visit her.

Gwen gets out of bed and talks about wanting to paint Jake's place and get him a new mattress. He questions her thinking about moving in. Gwen questions if he's going to forget everything about his life and live as this other guy or if he's going to remember what is true and real like her. Gwen feels he clearly chose her. He responds that he was upset and confused. Gwen argues that he wasn't when he threw her in bed. He argues that they never even discussed getting back together. Gwen says they haven't had time to discuss anything lately so she just assumed but he tells her no. Gwen questions if this is about them or Gabi DiMera.

Chad reads the DNA test results while Gabi comments on his head exploding from the fact that his brother is alive. Chad responds that he could care less. Gabi stops Chad and tells him that she needs him to get Stefan's memory back.

Claire informs Ben and Ciara that she borrowed money from Victor and paid for the dress even though she didn't ruin it. Claire adds that she took it to a special dry cleaners place and they will do their best to work on it. Ciara calls that amazing and thanks her. Claire says it's the least she could do as her maid of honor and if they can't fix it, they will find her another dress. Claire asks what else she can help with. Claire says she knows jewelry even better than fashion so she thinks Ciara could use some help in that department. Claire then mocks the washer used as Ciara's engagement ring.

Eli brings Lani breakfast in bed. Lani brings up that they haven't been out much since getting married. Eli says that's what newlyweds do as he kisses her. Lani points out that they do have to pay rent so they have to get up, get back to reality, and go to work. Eli wants to postpone reality for awhile longer. Lani agrees and they kiss.

Kate tells Vivian that it's been a long time. Vivian says not long enough. Kate brings up the last time they were together when Vivian told her she was going to sleep in Hell before she shot her and buried her alive. Kate says now it's her turn. Vivian asks if she's going to shoot her again. Kate suggests maybe she has a gun in her purse.

Jake/Stefan tells Gwen to be reasonable for once. Gwen argues about him blowing her off after last night. He complains that he was feeling overwhelmed last night after seeing the DNA results, being forced to meet with Vivian, and everyone in town telling him he's someone else so he just wanted to be with the one person who knows who he is right now. Gwen asks if he's saying he used her. He tells her that he just needed to hold onto something but insists he wasn't using her as he likes being with her. Gwen mocks him so he apologizes for how it came out. He assures that she totally turns him on. Gwen shoves him and says that's not enough for her. Gwen asks if they are together or not.

Chad questions Gabi asking for his help and calls that ambitious. Gabi argues that he could get Stefan's memory back and she thought he would want that too. Gabi tells Chad that he needs to talk to Dr. Rolf and get his serum. Chad questions why Rolf would do that for him. Gabi says because he's Stefano's son. Chad reminds her that she already told him that as soon as Jake remembers he's Stefan then they are going to try to steal DiMera. Gabi argues that she said she would have as much claim to the company as he does. Chad tells Gabi no. Gabi calls him a son of a bitch. Chad says he has work to do and laughs her off. Gabi warns Chad that with or without his help, Stefan will remember her and then they will grind him to dust and that's when she will remind him how much of a pompous ass he is as she then walks out of the room.

Eli and Lani are kissing in bed. Eli says he wants to make love to her. Lani reminds him that they agreed to go into work today. Eli says it won't take long as they continue kissing.

Ciara explains to Claire that her engagement ring is a washer from her dad's motorcycle since the bike played a huge part in she and Ben getting together. Claire apologizes and tells Ben that it's actually very romantic. Ben clarifies that it's just a placeholder as he wants Ciara to have a proper ring so he's been saving up every dime from the garage and he finally has enough to buy one. Ciara informs Claire that they are actually heading to the jewelry store now so Claire asks if she can come.

Chad reads over the DNA test results and says he thought he was done dealing with Stefan. He crumples the paper as Jack and Jennifer walk in. Jack asks if it's bad news. Chad says that depends on who he asks which Jennifer questions. Chad then informs them that it turns out his brother Stefan is alive.

Gwen tells Jake/Stefan that she's not some pathetic loser who is going to sit around and wait for her to get through this identity crisis so she needs to know now if he thinks this is something worth waiting for. Gwen gets on top of him in bed until they are interrupted by Gabi knocking at the door. He gives Gwen her clothes and instructs her to hide in the bathroom which she questions. Gwen argues that Gabi could be his alleged wife but she is no one's other woman. Gwen then goes ahead and answers the door and comments on Gabi not looking very happy.

Vivian tells Kate that any idiot knows you can't walk into a police station with a gun. Kate informs her that they can make guns out of plastic now which Vivian laughs at and tells her to come up with something more believable. Kate warns Vivian that underestimating her can be a deadly mistake as she then pulls a gun from her purse.

Ben questions Claire wanting to help pick out Ciara's engagement ring and says that's not going to happen. Ciara thanks Claire for the offer but says it's something they should do as a couple. Claire says she gets it and that wedding bands they can do but diamonds are another story. Claire goes over the details of diamonds and says that's why Ciara needs her to make sure she gets a great ring at a great price. Claire adds that she wants to help out after the screw up with the dress. Claire says Ben should also want Ciara to be surprised when she sees the ring for the first time instead of Ciara picking out her own ring. Ciara then admits it would be nice to be surprised. Ciara decides she knows Claire will pick out something beautiful and it would make her happy for her maid of honor and her groom to do this together. Ben gets up and pulls Ciara aside to tell her that he's sorry but he thinks this is a really bad idea.

Eli and Lani lay in bed together after making love. Eli declares it's now time to get back to work. Lani suggests calling in sick. Eli says he'd love nothing more than to stay in bed with her but Vivian's arraignment is today so they need to make sure she gets everything that is coming to her.

Kate shoots Vivian with what turns out to be a water gun. Vivian jokes that it was refreshing because it's hot in the room. Kate says she's had her fun so now she's going to leave her to the jury. Kate adds that if Vivian escapes justice, she will be back to drive a stake through her heart. Vivian argues that Kate would be behind bars for murder. Vivian tells Kate that it's time she pays for some of her crimes so she'll just call the police commissioner to tell him what she did to her. Kate reminds Vivian that she just tried to blow away a pregnant bride so no one will believe her. Vivian argues that she can be very convincing and that Kate has a lot more to lose than she does. Kate tells Vivian that she won't let a psycho like her screw up her job for her so they will keep this matter secret between them. Vivian thinks she'll need more than that from her. Vivian declares that she wants her son back.

Jack questions Jake really being Stefan. Chad tells him that the DNA results prove it so Gabi can now make good on her promise that her and her dead husband can try to take back DiMera. Jennifer tells him that he needs to stop her and not let her do this to his family. Chad agrees but says he needs to be in Florida with Abigail. Jack is not so sure about that.

Gabi questions Jake/Stefan what the hell this is. Gwen informs her that she spent the night. Gabi questions how he could do this when he just found out that they are married and then he slept with Gwen. Gwen remarks that they didn't do much sleeping. Gabi argues that the test results prove that he is her husband. He responds that he knows how much it means to her, but it means nothing to him. Gabi asks Gwen to give them a minute as she has something to discuss with her husband but Gwen says she has something to discuss with her boyfriend. He then tells Gwen that they will talk later. Gwen tells him if he thinks she's going to leave him alone with Gabi, he has another thing coming.

Ciara knows Ben is still suspicious of Claire but she really thinks she's just trying to do the nice thing here. Ben argues that she's being naive and asks why he would want Claire with him, bossing him around about what diamond to buy. Ciara tells him that he can tell her no if he doesn't like what she picks out. Ciara tells Ben that she feels really bad as Claire has gone through Hell, thinking her life was ruined, being lonely and depressed in Bayview. Ciara admits Claire may be trying too hard but she's trying to be sweet and caring so she deserves a second chance just like Ben did. Ciara pleads with Ben, saying it would be so nice if they could do this together. Ben reluctantly gives in so Ciara thanks him and they go back to Claire. Ciara tells her to pick her a winner. Claire jumps up and thanks her, assuring that they will get her a spectacular ring for a spectacular wedding.

Chad asks if Jack doesn't think he should be with Abigail. Jack says they know he loves her and wants to be by her side but his brother rising from the dead is huge and it's just a matter of time before Gabi and Stefan come after him and DiMera Enterprises. Chad assures that he can handle that but Jack thinks it will be a tough battle from Florida. Jennifer adds that Abigail would insist he stay to defend his family's legacy. Chad agrees but feels he can't let her deal with what she's going through alone. Jack then reveals that he and Jennifer will be with Abigail.

Gwen questions Jake/Stefan kicking her out after everything they did last night. He tells her that he will call her later. Gwen says maybe she'll answer or maybe she won't. Gwen tells Gabi that he's a user, a womanizer, and a cheating selfish bastard. Gwen advises Gabi not to trust him with her heart as she then storms out. He tells Gabi that he doesn't owe her an explanation but says he was just trying to forget about everything for one night. Gabi says she has spent every minute thinking about how to get his memory back. He asks if she had any luck. Gabi declares that she needs the serum and to talk to Dr. Rolf. He reminds her that last time she asked Rolf to help her, he set her up to go to prison so he questions what makes her think he'd help her this time. Gabi admits she doesn't so she needs to talk to Vivian so she can talk to him but Vivian and Dr. Rolf are locked up in completely different places.

Kate questions Vivian thinking Jake is Stefan. Vivian reveals to her that Gabi had a DNA test done and insists that she knows her son. Kate asks what she wants her to do. Vivian wants Kate to go to Dr. Rolf and get that serum so Stefan can get his memory back since Rolf has a soft spot for Kate because of her relationship to Stefano. Vivian declares that if Kate does that, she will take the fact that Kate shot her in cold blood to her grave or else she will tell all. Eli and Lani then walk in as Eli questions what the hell is going on in here.

Chad questions if Jack and Jennifer are offering to go to Florida. Jennifer confirms they are because the kids really want Chad here. Jack adds that they are telling them they need Chad. Jack says they will get on the first plane to go there now. Chad brings up having the newspaper to run. Jack offers to let Jennifer stay while he goes but Jennifer says no. Jennifer says Abigail needs her so Jack and Chad can stay with the kids. Chad tells Jennifer that if anything happens to Abigail, he will be on the first plane. Chad hopes this will all blow over faster than they think and Stefan will realize Gabi is a trainwreck and get out of dodge. Jennifer says what's important is that Jack and Chad will be here with the kids. Chad decides he should go pick them up. Chad hugs them and thanks them. Jack says they are family while Jennifer says they love him.

Eli demands an answer as to what is going on here. Kate responds that she heard Vivian was back in town and since she's responsible for a bullet in her chest, she wanted to make sure she was locked up so she wouldn't hurt anyone else. Lani assures that she won't. Eli argues that Kate knows better than to be in here. Lani adds that the desk sergeant told them how Kate flashed her mayor's office ID card in his face and blew past him so she doesn't think Abe would be happy to know she's using her position to break protocol. Kate informs them that she was just leaving because she has a very important appointment with her doctor. Vivian wishes her luck as Kate then exits. Lani goes to follow her out but Vivian stops her and tells her that she has nothing to fear from her because it seems she didn't kill her son after all..

Gabi tells Jake/Stefan that Vivian would talk to Dr. Rolf but she has to break her out of jail first. He questions if she can just do that. Gabi doubts it since she tried to kill a police detective in front of witnesses so she has to find another way to get to Rolf but she needs him to promise her that until she gets the serum, he won't sleep with Gwen or anyone else.

Eli says they knew Gabi was running a DNA test and questions if it's a match. Vivian confirms that her son Stefan is alive but he doesn't have his memory back. Vivian adds that she's so sorry about the mess at the wedding.

Chad goes to Julie's Place. He makes a call to get everything they can on Jake Lambert. Chad sits at the bar where Gwen is drinking. Chad asks if she had a bad day. Gwen says he could say that. Gwen adds that it was going great until this DiMera bitch showed up and ruined everything which Chad questions. Gwen asks if he knows Gabi DiMera. Chad responds that he does. Chad offers to buy her next round of drinks so she can fill him in.

Jake/Stefan tells Gabi that he's not promising her anything to do with his sex life and questions what makes her think he would. Gabi argues that they are married and took vows before he was viciously ripped out of her life and says he promised they would have the rest of their lives to love each other. Gabi says that's all she wants and knows that's what he wants but she just needs a little more time to prove it. He then agrees to not sleep with anybody temporarily but tells her not to read into this as he's doing it for himself, not her. Gabi says that's fair enough and they shake hands. He says that goes for her too. Gabi responds that it won't be a problem and once he remembers everything, he will see it was worth the wait.

Ben and Claire walk out of the town square with a ring. Claire talks about what a good price the sales man gave him. Ben admits that Claire is a good negotiator. Claire calls it her thing and says the ring is so perfect in every way. Ben agrees that it's great and thanks Claire for her help. Claire says it was her pleasure. Claire then gets a text and says Ciara should be there any minute so she'll give them some alone time. Claire reminds Ben to post a picture as she walks away. Ciara then arrives and asks where Claire is running off to. Ben says she had somewhere to be. Ben then gets down on one knee. Ciara can't believe he found it already. Ben officially proposes to Ciara but when he opens the ring box, it's empty, leaving them confused.
