Eric sits at home with his tablet when Allie comes out of her room and joins him. Eric mentions Nicole taking Holly on a play date. Allie talks about how she can see Rafe doing that with her child. Allie feels she would screw up in her first week. Eric tells her not to sell herself short. Allie then asks Eric if he thinks it's a mistake that she wants Rafe to raise her child.

Ciara complains to Ben that she tried on every gown in town and she just doesn't understand how nail polish could get all over her dress. Ciara mentions it being in perfect condition when Claire brought it back which Ben immediately questions. Ciara explains that Claire saw she was busy and offered to take it. Ben knew Claire was obviously up to something.

Claire finishes putting on nail polish at home when Gwen comes in. Claire asks where she's been. Gwen asks why she cares then apologizes for snapping, noting she's not in the most jolly mood. Claire guesses she went to see Jake. Gwen confirms that she did and they were about to go upstairs when Gabi showed up and told her to stay away from her husband. Gwen remarks that Jake is not her dead husband no matter what she thinks. Gwen hopes Gabi is about to go to jail for drugging Abigail. Claire then informs Gwen that she just got an alert on her phone that Gabi was cleared of all charges so she might have some competition with Jake.

Rafe shows Vivian a photo of Jake. Vivian cries that it's Stefan. Rafe explains that Gabi believes Jake Lambert is Stefan DiMera, meaning Vivian's son is very much alive.

Gabi returns to Jake with the DNA test results. Jake asks if she's going to open it so she does and begins to read the results.

Gwen can't believe they let Gabi off. Claire reads that the evidence against her was circumstantial. Gwen complains that she was caught with a drug that landed a woman in the mental ward. Claire guesses that wasn't enough proof. Gwen worries that Gabi will be free to harass Jake as much as she'd like. Gwen informs Claire that Gabi stole Jake's toothbrush to run a DNA test to prove he's her husband. Gwen says you'd have to be completely deranged to believe in bringing someone back from the dead. Gwen then questions if Claire thinks it's possible. Claire knows it sounds crazy but in Salem, she'd be surprised how many people survive death.

Will joins Sonny in the living room of the Kiriakis Mansion. Will announces that Gabi is cleared which Sonny is happy to hear. Will says he didn't get a chance to see Gabi. Sonny says they'll see her when she checks on Arianna. Will admits he was so afraid they'd have to tell Arianna that her mom is going to prison again. Sonny adds that now they can tell Arianna the great news that they might be adopting Allie's baby. Will feels that might be jumping the gun since they haven't talked to Allie about it yet.

Eric tells Allie that it's not his place to judge whether or not she should ask Rafe to adopt her child as it's her decision. Allie argues that he's her uncle and counsels people for a living so his opinion would mean a lot to her. Eric then tells her that he thinks Rafe is a great guy and if she decides to do this, he thinks Rafe would be a very loving and devoted father. Allie agrees since he was such a good stepdad to her and Johnny. Allie mentions seeing how much Rafe misses David and she feels this would be the perfect solution for both of them. Eric says it may be but before she asks him, she needs to be 100% sure because there's no turning back.

Vivian calls it impossible for Stefan to be alive as she was at the hospital when they pronounced him brain dead. Rafe knows it's mind boggling but Gabi is convinced that Jake Lambert is Stefan so she's having a DNA test run to prove it.

Jake offers to read the DNA test results himself. Gabi then declares that it's a match so Jake is Stefan. Gabi kisses Jake. Jake asks to see the results so she shows him it's a 100% match. Jake doesn't get it but acknowledges that according to these results, he really is Stefan. Gabi says she knew he was her husband and the only man who ever accepted her. Jake says she made that clear. Gabi admits she didn't go about it the right way but she had to get the DNA test and now she has the proof so she's happy to have him here instead of her dreams. Jake still doesn't get it because if the results are legit then his last two years in Philadelphia are the only real memories he has. Gabi says Dr. Rolf is fully capable of implanting someone with false memories. Jake says his memories all seem so real. Gabi hates that he remembers a whole other life but insists she's going to fix this and he will remember how much they loved each other.

Gwen tells Claire that she's glad they let Gabi off so now she won't think that she just won Jake by default. Claire remarks that a win is still a win. Gwen adds that she's not scared of Gabi but Gabi should be scared of her. Gwen asks Claire why she's here anyways instead of out with Ciara. Claire tells her that they already went wedding dress shopping all afternoon and says it was a great time. Gwen points out that pretending to be Ciara's best friend is an easy way to pull the rug out and ruin her life. Gwen says she asked her before but they got interrupted so she asks what Claire plans to do.

Ciara tells Ben that it's not fair to assume that Claire would want to ruin her dress after how happy she was about it. Ben argues that Claire faked being excited like she has before setting her on fire. Ciara insists that Claire is a different person like Ben was when he got out of Bayview. Ciara tells him that they had so much fun today and it was like she finally had her best friend back. Ben says that's how Claire would act if she's trying to gain her trust back and then she can sabotage their wedding from the inside. Ben says he just doesn't trust her. Ciara understands and asks why Claire would do something as obvious as pouring nail polish on her wedding dress, knowing she'd be the prime suspect. Ben suggests Claire would assume that so Ciara wouldn't suspect her. Ciara says she's confused and suggests they go talk to Claire to see if she has any theories about what happened to her dress. Ben says that's a great idea but Claire will lie and won't admit to it. Ciara asks Ben to just come with her and give Claire the benefit of the doubt. Ben agrees to do it for her and hugs her.

Sonny agrees with Will that they should talk to Allie before springing this on Arianna. Will doesn't want to get her hopes up about having a baby brother or sister. Sonny reminds him that last time she was more interested in getting a puppy. Sonny thinks Allie will be on board with them adopting her child. Will doesn't know why she would say no.

Allie tells Eric that this wasn't some snap decision. Eric guesses he just can't help but think of his own situation with baby Rachel where he felt like he missed out on so much and then he found out she wasn't his and had to give her up. Eric says he's only telling her this because Rafe went through something similar so she can't put him through that again. Eric warns her that if she offers Rafe her child, she can't change her mind.

Will and Sonny talk about making sure not to pressure Allie and being okay if Allie wants to have a role in the baby's life. Sonny points out that they've done well with Gabi over the years. Will brings up that Lucas still doesn't want Allie to give the baby away at all. Sonny thinks the more Lucas pushes, Allie will just rebel against that. Will declares there's just one way to find out.

Allie tells Eric not to worry because she's not going to jerk Rafe around and she wants him to have her child. Eric asks if she's going to stay in Salem or go back to Europe after the baby is born. Allie says she'll probably move back home but hasn't thought about it. Eric notes that she has family here so she's going to visit and will want to visit the baby. Eric asks if she plans to tell the child that she is their mother. Allie admits she hadn't thought about that either. Eric says those are some of the things she needs to think about because that decision will change the child's entire life.

Claire tells Gwen that her day has started to suck as she can't believe Gwen thinks she wants to hurt Ciara. Ben and Ciara then show up at the door. Claire tells them that she was just telling Gwen how much fun they had shopping. Claire adds that she took care of the dress. Ben responds that they know she took care of it.

Vivian questions Rafe about Gabi running a DNA test. Rafe explains that she stole Jake's toothbrush to compare it to Stefan's comb and the test results just came in.

Jake tells Gabi that he's sorry but even if the results prove that he's Stefan DiMera, nothing else has changed for him as he still doesn't feel anything for her. Gabi says that's not his fault because he remembers an entirely different life but all that matters is that she loves him and she actually knows a way to help him remember how much they meant to each other. Gabi kisses Jake and takes him by the hand as they exit the hospital together.

Allie admits she still has things to figure out but she thinks Rafe would be a much better parent than she would. Allie talks about wanting to do so many things with her life and not give them up to raise a baby. Allie then says she's sorry for being a terrible person which Eric questions. Eric understands it would be a huge life changing responsibility so it's okay if she's not ready for it. Allie states that none of this is definite as she hasn't even asked Rafe if he wants to adopt her baby. Eric thinks that is something she needs to do.

Claire asks what Ben is talking about. Ciara informs Claire that the dress shop called and when they opened the bag, the dress they picked out was covered in nail polish. Claire acts like she can't believe it and says that's awful. Ben then spots Claire's nail polish on the table and wonders if they should compare it to the stains on the dress. Claire asks if he's serious. Ciara says no one is blaming her for anything if she happened to accidentally get nail polish on the dress. Claire insists that she didn't and that she didn't even take the dress out of the bag, claiming she just took the bags back to the shop and then came home to do her nails. Claire swears she didn't ruin it. Ben questions taking her word for it. Gwen argues that if Claire says she didn't do it then she didn't do it and tells Ben to let it go.

Vivian tells Rafe that if her son is alive, she'll get her life back because she's been so miserable without him. Rafe suggests she get a lawyer first because she just tried to kill Lani. Rafe says he's going to do her paper work and he'll be back as he exits the room. Vivian pleads for Stefan to be alive.

Gabi brings Jake to the police station and announces to Rafe that she was right that Jake really is Stefan. Gabi shows Rafe the DNA test results that show a 100% match. Rafe admits he never thought this was possible since Stefan's heart is in Julie's body. Jake says he doesn't get it either. Gabi says once he remembers everything, their life will fall in to place and he will remember their love. Gabi asks Rafe to talk to Dr. Rolf and get the serum since she has proof that Jake is Stefan. Rafe reminds her that Dr. Rolf wants to make her suffer. Gabi wants her husband back. Rafe reveals that Vivian Alamain is in the interrogation room. Gabi questions finally catching her. Rafe explains that she was at Eli and Lani's wedding where she tried to kill Lani. Gabi is not surprised and calls Lani a murderer. Rafe argues that Lani was just doing her job while Vivian is a homicidal maniac. Jake guesses Stefan was close to Vivian. Gabi tells him that Vivian is his mother.

Allie tells Eric that she needs to talk to Rafe and thanks him for working through this with her as she's not used to having someone so kind and rational around. Eric tells her that her mom can be rational when she wants to be. Eric thinks Sami will be just as supportive when she tells her. Allie apologizes for putting him in a weird position when she showed up at his door. Eric says that's what uncles are for. Allie calls him the best and hopes one day she finds someone who loves her as much as Eric loves Nicole. Allie hugs him then says she's going to get ready to go ask Rafe if he wants to raise her baby.

Ben tells Gwen to stay out of this. Gwen argues that Claire is her friend and she doesn't like people accusing her friends of lying. Ben brings up why Gwen was in Bayview. Gwen tells him that she's perfectly sane and brings up Ben needing psychiatric help. Gwen talks about Ben being so protective of Ciara that she's scared he might strangle her right here. Ben holds Ciara back while Claire steps in and says she gets why Ben is protective of Ciara but the past is the past. Claire insists to Ciara that she's telling the truth and says she has to believe she did not ruin her dress. Claire asks Ciara if she believes her. Ciara declares that if Claire says she didn't do it then she believes her. Claire hugs her and thanks her, asking if she's still her maid of honor which Ciara confirms. Claire says the dress was beautiful but she'll help her find the perfect one again and says she'll pay for the dress that was ruined. Ciara says she doesn't have to but Claire wants to and says she can borrow the money then pay it back later. Ben questions why she's offering if she didn't pay for it. Claire explains that Ciara asked her to take care of it so it was her responsibility. Ciara repeats that Claire doesn't have to. Claire insists that she wants to handle it. Ben says they'll figure it out later as they have to go. Ciara agrees that they will talk later and exits with Ben. Gwen comments that Ben really does have a screw loose but admits he does make a good point, questioning why Claire offered to pay for the dress if she didn't ruin it, unless she has a guilty conscience.

Will and Sonny go to Eric's apartment. Eric mentions hearing about Gabi. Will and Sonny talk about being relieved as they didn't know how to break it to Arianna if Gabi went to prison again. Eric asks what brings them by. Sonny hoped they could talk to Allie so Will asks if she's there.

Jake/Stefan questions his mother just trying to kill a police detective and asks what else she's done. Rafe asks how much time he's got. Gabi adds that the last time Vivian fled town because she shot Kate and buried her alive. Rafe guesses the district attorney will be out for blood on that one. Jake/Stefan says he's never met the woman so it's not a huge blow to him. Gabi argues that he did love her very much and was shielding her when Lani shot him. Gabi suggests seeing Vivian could spark a memory of Stefan's since they can't count on Dr. Rolf's serum. Rafe agrees that it's worth a shot. Allie arrives at the police station and asks Rafe if they can talk. Gabi is surprised to see Allie then sees she's pregnant. Allie tells her that pretty much everyone knows now. Allie asks to talk to Rafe again as it's important and private. Rafe says it's going to be a long night so he invites her to get some food which she agrees to. Gabi asks if Stefan can see Vivian which Rafe allows since she's handcuffed to a chair and there's a guard on duty. Rafe and Allie exit the station. Jake/Stefan tells Gabi that he doesn't feel right about this. Gabi insists that he has to try because it could jog a memory to remember who he really is and how much they loved each other.

Eric informs Will and Sonny that they just missed Allie but they could leave her a message. Will thanks him but says they needed to talk face to face. Eric notes that it sounds important. Will then reveals that they wanted to ask Allie if they could adopt her baby. Will knows it's a big decision. Eric admits he wasn't expecting that and he's sure Allie isn't either.

Rafe and Allie sit together in the town square to eat. Rafe asks what she wanted to talk about. Allie tells him how great it was to talk the other day as he was so supportive and sweet like he was when she was growing up. Rafe says he's always there for her. Allie acknowledges that he's always been such a great dad and she knows he would've been just as great to David so it was unfair for the judge to take him away. Rafe says he'll be okay. Allie thinks she has something that could help. Allie then asks Rafe if he wants to adopt her baby.

Ben and Ciara go home to their room at the Salem Inn. Ciara doesn't want to hear Ben talk about thinking Claire ruined her dress. Ben tells her that no matter what Ciara wears, she will be the most beautiful bride and he can't wait to spend his life with her as they kiss.

Claire argues that Gwen just told Ben that she believed her. Gwen says Ben was being a stupid jerk so she wasn't going to watch her take that but they are alone again now. Gwen then asks Claire if she ruined the dress. Claire says of course not.

Gabi asks Jake/Stefan if he's ready. He asks if she's coming with him but Gabi says she and Vivian were not really friends so she thought he would do this alone. Gabi reminds him that Vivian loves him very much as he heads in to the interrogation room. Vivian calls out to Stefan, declaring that her son is alive.
