Brady goes to see Victor at the hospital. Victor tells him that he deserves everything he wants to say. Brady says that's not why he is here. Victor says he doesn't want his forgiveness as he doesn't expect it so he's not going to ask for it but he hopes one day that Brady will let him make it up to him, especially now that he has his daughter back. Brady reveals to him that he doesn't have Rachel back. Victor doesn't understand and assumes Kristen is in jail but Brady tells him that she's not in jail. Brady declares that Kristen and his daughter are gone and it's Victor's fault. Victor questions Brady letting Kristen run off with his child. Brady argues that she deserves to be with the daughter that she thought was dead because of him and if she comes back to Salem, she'll go to prison because of him. Brady feels it's the least he could do for the woman he loves, given the crap that Victor and Xander put her through. Victor admits they made mistakes but says it was out of love as he does love him. Brady responds that he has a funny way of showing it. Victor wants to prove it to him and offers to do anything he wants. Brady tells him to fire Xander as CEO by the end of business.

Sarah comes out of the shower and questions why Xander is still there. Xander argues that she slept with Brady to hurt him. Sarah tells him that he is out of her life and tells him to get out of the room. Xander then reveals that while she was sleeping with his cousin to punish him, he saved her mother from committing suicide which shocks her. Sarah doesn't believe it and says she wouldn't do that. Xander informs her that Maggie tried to hang herself and was almost gone when he got there. Sarah thinks back to visiting Maggie at the prison and accuses Xander of lying. Xander informs her that in five more minutes, Maggie would've been dead.

Justin visits Maggie at the prison hospital. He says Kayla told him that she wasn't responsible for the accident so he knows Maggie didn't kill Adrienne.

Sonny visits Christian in prison. Christian asks what he's doing here. Sonny responds that he wanted to see the animal who killed his mother.

Kayla comes back from the lab and says she has the results of the analysis and knows what was in the syringe. Gabi insists it was the serum to help Stefan get his memory back. Kayla then reveals it was actually the same compound used in the drugging of Abigail. Kayla adds that the lab did a complete chemical analysis and it is identical to what was found in Abigail's system, the drug that has caused her hallucinations. Gabi argues that it can't be. Eli asks if Gabi cares to explain that.

Brady thinks he's letting Victor off easy and remarks that Kristen did too by not torturing him. Brady tells Victor that Xander needs to be fired because it's good for business. Brady asks what the Titan shareholders will think when they learn that Xander got his job because he switched babies and did Victor's work for him. Victor argues that it was for Maggie. Brady offers Victor his phone and says he wants to hear him call Xander and fire him but Victor refuses.

Sarah asks Xander why no one called her if her mom tried to kill herself. Xander says he tried but her phone was off. Sarah doesn't believe him so Xander tells her to call the prison. Sarah argues that Maggie is not suicidal and wouldn't do that. Xander informs her that she wrote Victor a goodbye letter which is the only reason he got to her when he did. Sarah asks what if she tries to do it again. Xander assures that she won't because Maggie now knows the truth that she didn't cause the accident so she didn't kill Adrienne or Sarah's baby.

Gabi argues that Dr. Rolf told her it was the serum he used to get Jack and Will's memory back. Gabi cries that she just wanted her husband back. Jake insists he's not Stefan and calls Gabi crazy. Lani then handcuffs Gabi.

Brady questions Victor saying he would do anything to make it up to him except fire the pig that ruined his life. Victor responds that he can't and won't fire Xander because he owes him. Brady argues that Victor owes him as he had Kristen and Rachel but Victor took his family from him. Brady questions what the hell he owes Xander for. Victor then reveals that Xander saved Maggie.

Justin tells Maggie that he's so sorry for what she went through. Maggie knows how much he and Sonny loved Adrienne. Justin says after he learned about everything that happened, he thought about Maggie believing it was all her fault. Justin recalls a time that Maggie and Victor got into a fight and he had told Adrienne that Maggie was one of those people for whom right and wrong was real, like Adrienne was as well. Justin says Maggie holds herself to the highest standards so when she believed she caused the accident that killed Adrienne and Sarah's baby, it must have been Hell for her. Maggie cries about finding out that Sarah's baby had died. Justin knows Maggie sentenced herself to death for something she didn't do. Justin says he woke up today thinking about the pain and the lies that they have lived with for so long. Justin cries that he could hear Adrienne telling him to go and get Maggie out of prison so that's exactly what he's going to do.

Sarah questions Maggie not driving that night. Xander reveals that Maggie wasn't even drinking as she was chloroformed by Orpheus, who kidnapped Maggie. Sarah asks why. Xander explains that he wanted to ransom her back to Victor but his whole plan fell apart when he and his son drove Sarah and Adrienne off the road.

Christian tries to tell Sonny that it was Maggie but Sonny tells him to save it because his sister gave him up and the cops know everything. Christian argues that she wouldn't do that but Sonny says she had to in order to protect David from their father. Christian points out that he wasn't driving the car. Sonny asks if that makes it all better that his mother is dead, Will went to prison for a year, and Maggie tried to kill herself. Christian argues that he was just thinking about David. Sonny talks about when they grew close and he tricked him into thinking he was a decent human being. Sonny tells Christian that he hates him. Christian says not as much as he hates himself.

Victor explains to Brady that he had Maggie's letter saying she was going to kill herself and he called the prison but they put him on hold so he sent Xander. Brady can't believe Maggie hung herself. Victor asks if Brady sees now that he can't fire Xander because if not for him, they would've lost Maggie. Brady questions if he thinks that makes everything okay and wipes out what they did to him, Kristen, and Sarah. Brady orders Victor to fire Xander or he will never see him again.

Xander continues explaining to Sarah how Orpheus and Christian put Maggie in the driver's seat with the bottle of vodka. Sarah concludes that everything Xander and Victor did was really for nothing. Xander argues that they didn't know that then and they had to protect Maggie and Sarah from what they all thought Maggie did.

Sonny tells Christian that he can't hate himself more than he hates him. Christian talks about how long he has hated himself. Sonny argues that he didn't call the cops because he was too busy moving Maggie's body to cover his own ass while Adrienne was in the other car dying. Sonny questions if coming on to him was Orpheus's idea or his own. Sonny talks about how he made out with him after he killed his mother and sent his husband to prison. Christian admits he can't explain or justify anything but he fell in love with him. Christian tells him that he's so sorry. Sonny says if he wants to make it up to him, he can act like a man for once in his life and put down what he just said in writing.

Jake asks Kayla if she's certain about the test results that Gabi was trying to inject him with LSD. Kayla confirms that and asks Jake to go away because she doesn't want to look at him anymore since he looks just like the bag of garbage that ruined her life.

Eli and Lani bring Gabi to the interrogation room where Dr. Rolf is waiting for his lawyer. Gabi says Dr. Rolf can explain how he told her that Jake was Stefan and that he saved him. Dr. Rolf plays innocent and claims he has no idea what Gabi is talking about.

Brady argues that Victor let Xander steal his daughter and let him believe she was dead then watched he and Kristen grieve. Brady says now Victor is trying to manipulate him by using the fact that he loves Maggie to get him to let him screw him over again. Brady declares he won't let him do it this time. Brady says that Xander is out and Victor needs to make him the CEO again now.

Sarah tells Xander that she needs to go see her mother. Xander assures that she's fine and that Justin is already working on getting her conviction overturned. Sarah says goodbye and goes to leave. Xander stops her and asks her to promise that her and Brady won't happen again. Sarah calls him unbelievable after everything he's done to her and says she never has to promise him anything. Xander argues that she doesn't love Brady and he's not good for her. Sarah remarks that Xander could do whatever to try to control her life or he could stay out of her life. Sarah tells him not to think about her because she's never going to think about him again as she then exits the room.

Justin tells Maggie that Adrienne had an amazing way of cutting to the heart of the matter. Justin says they need Maggie back. Maggie can't wait to see Sonny since he and Justin are family to her. Justin tells Maggie that he will do everything he can to get her out but it won't be smooth sailing. Maggie responds that she hasn't had smooth sailing since the day Victor showed up at her back door so she asks what the problem is. Justin explains that right now, all they have is Zoey's word that Orpheus and his son were responsible so they need a confession and Orpheus has taken off. Maggie asks what about his son but guesses he's too afraid of his father to come clean. Justin informs her that Sonny is talking to him now so he prays that he can get through to him.

Sonny gives Christian a pen and paper and says if he wants to stop hating himself, he can give himself a reason not to and do the right thing. Sonny encourages him to write down what he just said so that Maggie doesn't have to keep paying for it. Christian responds that he's sorry but he can't do that.

Xander goes to Victor's hospital room and informs him that he found Sarah and told her about Maggie and that he saved her life but she hates his guts permanently.

Sarah goes to visit Maggie at the prison hospital and hugs her. Maggie assures that she's going to be fine. Sarah questions why she would do that. Sarah mentions that even when she thought Maggie caused the accident, she forgave her. Sarah says she can't lose her. Sarah brings up that Xander thinks she's supposed to thank him. Maggie jokes about Kiriakis men. Sarah hugs Maggie, who assures that she's not going anywhere. Brady then enters the room.

Gabi argues that Dr. Rolf is lying and that he told her he saved Stefan and where to find the drug. Dr. Rolf says she's always had a vivid imagination. Gabi says they can check the logs to see that she visited him in prison. Dr. Rolf says he didn't say she didn't visit. Rolf says he told Gabi that saving Stefan was impossible. Gabi insists that once she told Dr. Rolf that she could get him out of prison, he admitted the truth. Dr. Rolf thinks he would remember if she proposed a prison break. Gabi says that Dr. Rolf told her that he saved Stefan and that he never got his memory back like Jack and Will. Dr. Rolf asks Eli and Lani to control Gabi because he's feeling threatened. Eli says they can wait here while they wait for an officer to take them down to be booked. Lani tells them to play nice as she and Eli exit the room. Gabi questions what Dr. Rolf is doing and why he's lying. Dr. Rolf responds that he doesn't like her. Gabi realizes he set her up which he confirms.

Jake questions Kayla about Stefan DiMera ruining her life. Kayla says he was part of a grand scheme to destroy her marriage. Jake remarks that he's beginning to dislike his lookalike. Kayla suggests maybe Jake is Stefan and Dr. Rolf worked his magic one more time. Kayla adds that she hopes she never sees Jake again which Jake calls harsh. Kayla blames Stefan DiMera for losing the love of her life and declares that no one can ever take his place, right as Justin enters the hospital.

Victor calls Xander stupid and tells him to think about what he did to Sarah. Xander insists that he loves Sarah. Victor says saving her mother's life is just a start. Xander declares it's over and there's no hope. Xander then tells Victor that Sarah slept with Brady last night. Victor mentions seeing Brady earlier and that he said he would forgive him as long as he fired Xander.

Brady tells Maggie that Victor told him what she tried to do. Brady reminds her how much they all need her. Maggie guesses God had other plans for her and says she's really happy as Justin came to see her and she can face Sonny and Sarah again. Maggie asks Brady if he knows what he means to her. Maggie declares that she has her life back. Maggie tells Brady that she would love to be apart of Rachel's life too and asks if that would be alright with Kristen. Brady realizes Sarah didn't tell her which Maggie questions.

Sonny calls Christian a worm. Christian says he has to think about David since he's facing 20 years in prison but he still has a shot of getting out and making things up to him but if he does what Sonny wants, he may never see the light of day again. Sonny brings up David asking him about killing Jordan. Christian says David is his son and he means everything to him. Sonny argues that Sarah's daughter meant everything to her and he killed her while Arianna means everything to Will and he sent him to prison. Sonny adds that his mother is still dead. Sonny warns Christian that if he doesn't confess and Maggie keeps paying instead of him then Justin, Rafe, Sarah, Will, and himself will show up to every one of his parole hearings to remind the court exactly what he did. Sonny declares that he will make it his life's work to make sure that David knows exactly what a weak, pathetic piece of garbage Christian is. Sonny assures that he will not get away with what he did to the people he loves.

Gabi argues that Dr. Rolf just didn't want her to know that he saved Stefan. Rolf says he just played her and let her think that she outsmarted him. Dr. Rolf tells her that he led her right to a stash of the drug used on Abigail, knowing it would all end up in tears and handcuffs for her. Gabi asks what she's ever done to him. Dr. Rolf says she disrespected Stefano. Rolf says Stefano tried to use Chad to get Gabi out of the way but that plan never really worked while this one did. Gabi questions if he's saying that Jake is not Stefan. Dr. Rolf then states that is not what he said at all.

After Brady fills Maggie in, she tells him that she's so sorry that he lost his baby twice. Brady clarifies that he doesn't look at it that way since she's with Kristen and he knows she's safe. Brady hopes that he will see her again soon. Maggie knows it's going to be hardest on Sarah so they are going to have take good care of her.

Gabi asks Dr. Rolf if Stefan is alive or not. Rolf says that if Jake is Stefan then he's not the one who brought him back which is not to say that someone else didn't..

Justin asks if everything is okay and then sees Jake really looking like Stefan. Jake tells Kayla that he's sorry that she lost the love of her life as he then exits. Kayla asks Justin how much he heard. Justin says just enough.

Christian tells Sonny that he's wrong as he did get through to him since it matters to him more than anything that David does not grow up with a father like his. Christian asks Sonny to tell David that for once, his father did the right thing as he then begins writing down his statement.

Brady and Sarah leave Maggie's room at the prison. Sarah states that she almost lost her mom and that they need her. Sarah says after everything Maggie has been living through, she's still focused on taking care of her. Sarah declares that she is now Sarah 2.0 and that Maggie can take care of her while she and Brady take care of Victor and Xander.

Xander questions Brady sleeping with Sarah and then coming to tell Victor to fire him. Victor says he told Brady that Xander saved Maggie's life but he did not back down. Victor adds that Brady gave him an ultimatum to fire Xander and reinstate him as CEO or lose his grandson. Victor says he didn't give Brady an answer as he thought it was only fair that Xander hear it first. Victor then tells Xander that he's fired.
