Days of Our Lives Update Wednesday 4/15/20

Kayla tells Justin that there's nothing she wants more than to go home with him. Justin gets that she's still worried about Steve after just saving his life and she can't leave him right now so he will go. Kayla doesn't know what to say. Justin tells her that she knows where to find him if she needs him. Justin kisses her and goes to leave the hospital but Kayla stops him. Kayla decides she'd really like to go to dinner with him. Justin asks what about Steve.

Jack tells Steve that this is a lot for all of them to process but it's obvious to him that Kayla still loves him. Steve questions how that's obvious since she's with Justin now. Jack argues that now Kayla knows he never stopped loving her. Steve responds that he loves her more than ever.

Will and Sonny eat together in the town square. Sonny tells Will about Steve being awake and back to his old self. Will wonders if that means he forgot all the crazy stuff he did as Stefano. Sonny says he only got a text from Jennifer. Will suggests they get dessert and celebrate the end of Stefano and Princess Gina. Sonny jokes that too much sugar gives him weird dreams and he's had enough of those lately. Will wants to know about his weird dreams. Sonny informs him of his dream where he walked in on Will having sex with Leo.

Kristen talks to Brady about waiting so long to hold their baby in her arms. Brady explains that Eric and Sarah have just started grieving but he and Kristen get to stop because they have a beautiful future ahead of them. Kristen doesn't understand how the hospital could make such a terrible mistake. Brady notes that he didn't tell her it wasn't a mistake, it was Xander. Kristen asks what he's talking about. Brady explains that Xander switched the babies on purpose.

Xander remains in the living room as Eric walks in. Xander says he has nothing to say to him and tells him to get out. Eric refuses to leave and asks where Sarah is. Xander says she's upstairs saying goodbye to Mickie. Eric decides he will give her privacy while they have a little chat. Xander doesn't want his lecture. Eric argues that after what he did, he belongs in a grave like his little girl.

Sarah holds Rachel in her room, crying about how she has to let her go after loving her since the moment Xander put her in her arms. Sarah asks how Xander could let her fall so in love with a baby that wasn't hers. Sarah questions what she's going to do.

Kristen asks if Xander was just trying to get back at her. Brady thinks it was more about Sarah since he didn't want her to face what Kristen faced. Kristen understands the pain she caused Brady and Theresa now, suggesting it was retribution. Brady wants to move forward instead of looking back. Kristen declares that she's looking forward to making Xander pay for what he did.

Xander tells Eric to go ahead and kill him because nothing hurts more than losing Sarah. Xander questions why Eric told her when she was so happy. Eric argues it was the right thing to do. Xander blames Nicole. Eric shouts that Brady and Kristen thought their baby was dead because of him. Xander calls Nicole a nosy bitch so Eric punches him. Xander tells Eric that he won't feel better for a very long time because sooner or later, he'll realize how badly he screwed everything up. Xander says that Sarah is going to grieve for the rest of her life while Eric gets to watch Brady and Kristen raise the kid that could have been his if he kept his mouth shut. Xander adds that Nicole took the child Eric always wanted away from him and now he can never get her back. Eric responds that the one good reason for telling Sarah was that it stopped her from marrying a bastard like him.

Sarah cries about not being Rachel's mom but loving her like she was. Sarah calls it a dream turned into a nightmare. Sarah declares that nothing will be as hard as giving her up and she doesn't think she can.

Steve admits to Jack that he didn't tell Kayla he loved her more than ever because he didn't get the chance but he did tell her to rip up the divorce papers and marry him again though that was before she told him that she had moved on with Justin. Jack offers to go get Kayla so they can finish the conversation but Steve says no. Jack can't believe that Steve says he still loves Kayla but he plans to sit there and do nothing. Steve questions what he's supposed to do. Jack says the Steve he knew would at least talk to her. Steve says even before Stefano and Dr. Rolf messed with his head, he had let Kayla down so many times before. Steve insists that he loves her but maybe she's better off with Justin. Jack says maybe Justin was the best she could do but Steve is exciting. Steve wants the truth and asks if Kayla is happy with Justin.

Kayla tells Justin that Steve is awake and resting comfortably. Justin points out that he has his memory back. Kayla confirms that he should make a full recovery but she doesn't see a reason she needs to say. Justin says not medically but asks about personally.

Will jokes with Sonny about his weird dream. Sonny thinks he had the dream because he has deep insecurities he's not dealing with or he's really messed up. Sonny adds that it wasn't even the weirdest part of his dream but says they don't have to talk about it. Will says now they have to because he brought it up so he has to tell him the rest. Sonny tells Will that he dreamed that Leo talked them in to buying a baby from him and then it turned out he stole the baby from Abe and Sheila. Will questions how long this dream was. Sonny reminds Will that they had talked about having another kid. Will remembers that they agreed to discuss it further but then the accident happened and everything went to Hell. Sonny says that's in the past now so he asks if Will wants to talk about having another kid again.

Xander tells Eric that he loves Sarah and would've made her happy. Eric doesn't think sociopaths make good husbands. Eric talks about Xander standing by and watching the agony that Brady and Kristen went through and now Sarah is just beginning the same agony. Eric tells Xander that there is nothing anyone can do. Eric talks about seeing Kristen and Brady go through what they went through and how Brady worried that Kristen would take her own life but now Sarah is facing that same nightmare all because of Xander.

Sarah talks about all she and Rachel have been through but now she'll be with Kristen since she lost the first year with her. Sarah says she has to believe Kristen will be a really good mom. Sarah admits Kristen has done questionable things but Brady swears she's changed so she has to believe that because she has no choice.

Jack tells Steve that he hasn't spent that much time with Justin and Kayla. Steve takes that as Justin does make her happy. Jack explains that Kayla got the divorce papers while Justin lost Adrienne so they started spending time together and developed a closeness. Steve asks if they are living together. Jack informs him that Justin moved in to Kayla's new place. Steve questions Jack wanting him to break them up. Jack doesn't want him to give up. Jack says he's been very supportive of their relationship and he's also told Justin not to give up. Steve questions if he's jerking them both around. Jack says he wants them both to be happy. Steve says he won't get that wish because only one of them can be with Kayla.

Kayla tells Justin that Steve has a lot to grapple with. Justin asks if he has any memory of pretending to be Stefano all this time. Kayla says he does not. Justin realizes he has to deal with all the stuff he did during that time and the loss of Adrienne. Kayla mentions Jack being in with him and he'll stay as long as he needs. Justin guesses Steve assumed they would just pick up where they were. Kayla points out that they weren't in a good place when Steve was arrested. Justin asks if that's how Steve remembers it. Kayla asks if he's trying to get out of making her dinner. Justin guesses Steve wants to be with her. Kayla assures that Steve knows about them. Justin points out that she didn't tell him if she wants to be with Steve.

Eric goes to Sarah's room but she's gone so he wonders where she went.

Will tells Sonny that he warmed up to the idea of having another child after having a conversation with Abigail that convinced him it would be worth it. Sonny asks if he still wants to go ahead with it. Will calls it a big step and a long process. Sonny jokes that he guesses that's why people steal babies. Sarah walks by with Rachel in her stroller. Sonny stops her and asks what she's doing because he thought she and Xander were getting married tonight. Sarah claims the wedding is over and she just wanted to grab Mickie a few things before they go on their honeymoon because she just realized she couldn't stand to be separated from her.

Eric goes back to the living room and asks Xander if Sarah came down there. Xander says she didn't. Eric informs him that she's not upstairs and neither is the baby. Xander checks outside and sees her car is gone as well.

Kristen tells Brady that when she gets her hands on Xander, he'll wish he was never born. Brady says he hates his guts too and has for a long time. Kristen argues that this is different but Brady encourages her to look to the future. Kristen questions Xander getting off free. Brady is sure Sarah is making him pay. Brady reminds Kristen that this is Sarah's last night with Rachel. Kristen says she can't wait the whole night until tomorrow. Brady agrees to call Eric but he thinks it's important to give them time to say goodbye as this is the worst nightmare of their life. Kristen argues that at least they will know she's alive while they spent months thinking their baby was dead. Kristen says it's taking every ounce of self control not to rush over there now.

Sonny tells Sarah that he and Will were just talking about having another kid. Will mentions how adopting scares him because what if the biological parents want the baby back and he can't imagine giving up Arianna. Sarah calls it the worst thing in the world and says she has to get going. Will stops her and questions where her ring is if she just got married to Xander.

Kayla tells Justin that all of this is overwhelming so she wants him to cool it with the questions for now. Justin apologizes for pressuring her and being so insecure. Kayla understands he has every reason to want to know how she feels about Steve but right now she just wants to go home with him where she belongs. Kayla decides she will go check on Steve as her patient and then she will go home with Justin, her boyfriend. She kisses him and then heads to Steve's room.

Steve suggests Jack go get something to eat but Jack argues that Steve needs him to show him the reality of his situation. Steve says his situation sucks since Kayla is happy with Justin now. Steve declares that Kayla is fine without him. Justin questions him bowing out gracefully and calls that demeaning to Kayla. Justin argues that Kayla loves him and Justin but she has the right to know how he feels. Justin tells Steve to give Kayla the choice so she can decide accordingly. Kayla walks in and questions the decision about what.

Sarah claims that she left her ring at home. Will says as long as Xander is cool with it. Sarah says he understands and it was big so she left it home to be safe. Sonny asks where they are going on their honeymoon. Sarah says she doesn't know yet as she was going to decide before they take off and now she's late. Will tells her to enjoy the honeymoon as Sarah rushes off with Rachel. Will tells Sonny that Sarah is totally lying to them and questions who waits until the airport to decide on their honeymoon or takes off their wedding ring right after their wedding. Sonny asks why she would lie to them. Will guesses Sarah didn't want to admit that she made a huge mistake marrying that psychopath. Will bets she breaks up with him before the honeymoon is over.

Brady gets a call from Eric. Kristen wonders if they are ready to bring the baby over. Brady answers and asks what's going on. Eric asks if Sarah is with him but Brady says no. Kristen thought she was with the baby. Eric says Sarah and the baby are not at the Kiriakis Mansion so he thought maybe she brought her to them. Brady says they haven't heard from her. Kristen questions where they could be. Eric guesses she has to be on her way to them. Eric says to let him know if they hear from her. Brady agrees and hangs up while Kristen says she has a really bad feeling about this.

Steve claims to Kayla that he was trying to decide whether to push the call button or not because he has a little headache but says it's no big deal. Kayla doesn't want him to be in pain so she will go write him an order for a nurse to bring him meds. Kayla asks how he's feeling otherwise. Steve says he's great. Jack decides he will let them talk but Kayla stops him and says she's about to go home to Justin. Kayla asks if Steve needs anything else. Steve says he's good and he'll see her tomorrow so Kayla exits. Jack argues that Steve didn't take the opening so he questions if he's going to fight for her. Steve responds that it seems to him that she's already made her decision.

Xander goes to Sarah's room and thinks back to saying his vows to Sarah.

Brady tells Kristen to take it easy and not let her imagination run away. Kristen thought Sarah and Eric were going to go through this together so she questions why Sarah would leave without giving Eric a chance to say goodbye. Brady argues that her world just came crashing down so she's probably not thinking clearly. Kristen worries about Sarah being overwhelmed and driving their daughter who knows where. Kristen argues that they should've gone to get their daughter when they found out the truth. Kristen declares that she is not going to sit around any longer as she wants to go find their daughter so she rushes out of their room.

Eric calls Sarah and leaves a message to call him back as nobody knows where she is. Will and Sonny walk in and ask Eric what he's doing here. Eric responds that he's just trying to track Sarah down. Sonny informs him that they just ran in to her in the town square. Eric questions if she had the baby with her. Will confirms that she did and was picking up baby stuff. Eric guesses they'll be home soon. Sonny and Will say no because Sarah said she was heading to the airfield because she and Xander were headed on their honeymoon which shocks Eric.

Jack tells Steve that Kayla going home to Justin doesn't mean anything. Steve remarks that they will be climbing into bed together. Jack tries to suggest they don't know that but Steve tells him to shut the hell up.

Kayla goes back to Justin and asks him about Sarah and Xander's wedding. Justin reveals to her that they didn't get married and says she was strange from the moment she entered the room as they exit the hospital together.

Xander sits on the bed with Sarah's wedding ring and declares he will find some way to get the ring back on Sarah's finger as he will never give up on them.

Sonny makes a call as Eric fills in he and Will on Mickie really being Brady and Kristen's baby. Eric says he saw the DNA test results and they were supposed to say goodbye tonight but now it looks like Sarah has taken off with her. Will hopes Sonny will find something out from the airline. Kristen and Brady walk in asking if they found Sarah and the baby yet. Eric responds that there might be a problem. Sonny finishes the call and reveals that the Titan jet just left a few minutes ago with Sarah and the baby on board. Sonny adds that they did not file a flight plan. Kristen declares that Sarah has kidnapped their child.

Sarah holds Rachel on her flight and says everything is going to be fine no matter what anyone says because she's her little girl and no one will ever keep them apart.
