Days of Our Lives Update Wednesday 3/25/20

Roman finishes a call with John at the Brady Pub then tells Hattie that John has no idea where "Steve" took Marlena. Hattie encourages that John will find her. Hattie talks about Roman always expecting the worst outcome in things and says he never smiles even if he's falling in love with her. Roman asks who said anything about falling in love. Hattie says he kissed her twice so she asks if this is going anywhere or not. Roman questions what the hell she's talking about.

Kristen and Brady visit baby Rachel's grave. Kristen mentions Mickie doing better and she's thankful that Sarah and Eric don't have to go through what they did as Brady hugs her.

Eric and Sarah talk about the doctors preparing to release Mickie. Sarah is ready to bring her home. Eric says it will just be a few minutes. Eric mentions hearing from Nicole that Sarah and Xander got engaged. Eric questions her not telling him. Sarah says her love life is none of his concern. Eric says he's thinking about Xander being Mickie's stepfather and asks if she thought he might have a problem with that.

At the hospital, Xander pays off the doctor who gave Nicole the test results. He confirms that he altered the results to say the samples didn't match and says he will take the secret to the grave. Xander remarks that he will too. Xander hopes Nicole will now back off because he will do a lot more than doctors and lab results to keep Sarah from finding out the truth.

Nicole reads the test results and says she doesn't believe it as she thought for sure that Xander switched the babies but according to the test results, Kristen is not Mickie's mother so she really is Eric and Sarah's baby girl after all. Abe then approaches and asks Nicole what's wrong. Nicole tells him that it's here in black and white but she doesn't believe it.

Ben and Ciara kiss in their room at the Salem Inn. Ben questions if this is really happening which Ciara confirms. Ben talks about looking forward to a hot shower as they kiss. Ciara suggests going slow as she wants to feel like all that is over. Ciara tells Ben that he's finally getting what he deserves as he then goes to shower. Ciara then calls for room service.

Abe questions if Nicole is alright. Nicole informs him that she has Mackenzie's test results. Abe has a sick feeling of deja vu and asks what she's up to now. Nicole asks him to promise not to say anything. Abe says that depends. Nicole knows Abe will want to keep it between them. Nicole decides she will buy him lunch so they head in to the Brady Pub.

Kristen asks if Brady if they will ever get past this. Brady believes his faith has been tested. Kristen declares that as long as Mickie is alive, she feels Rachel is still with them.

Sarah tells Eric that he doesn't get to say anything about it. Eric says he's being a concerned father because they know the things Xander has done. Sarah brings up the things Xander has done for her and her daughter. Eric reminds her that he never liked Xander anywhere near his daughter as Xander then walks into the room.

Roman tells Hattie they will talk later but Hattie says now, arguing that Roman would rather die than talk about his feelings. Roman sees Abe come in and goes to talk to him. Roman asks Abe about John not finding anything new. Nicole tells Roman that Eric is going crazy wanting to help find Marlena. Roman isn't sure what he could do that John isn't already doing. Roman says he has stuff to take care of so he will send Hattie to them with menus and walks away. Abe then asks Nicole again what she's up to now. Nicole reveals to Abe that she got a DNA test on Mackenzie. Abe isn't surprised and questions her not thinking that Eric is her father.

Eric tells Xander that he's still a crook who smuggled blood diamonds and tried to strangle his cousin on her wedding day. Sarah argues that this can wait for later somewhere else. Xander says he's never denied his past but he's not that person anymore. Sarah says not here and not now. Eric warns Xander to never forget that he's not the baby's father. Xander responds that he's very clear about who her father is.

Brady suggests to Kristen that they think about trying to conceive another child. Kristen feels it wouldn't be right because she feels they would be betraying Rachel. Brady doesn't understand why she would think that. Kristen says she is in their hearts so she doesn't want to replace her. Brady understands she's not ready to think about having another baby. Brady says they are grieving together so he suggests they could do something to help. Brady adds that the only reason Mickie is healthy is because of the hospital employees so he suggests setting up a charity under Rachel's name so that any kid that comes through can have the same treatment that Mickie got. Kristen kisses him and calls that a beautiful idea.

Ciara joins Ben in the shower and helps him shave his beard. Ben says he didn't expect a spa day as they kiss.

Kristen wants to do more than give money and be involved in the charity. Brady says they can do it however she wants. Brady declares they are going to do something good as he and Kristen kiss.

Nicole tells Abe about how she thinks that Eric and Sarah's baby died and somehow Xander switched the babies. Nicole says she knows from experience that it's possible and goes over the birth mark and Xander threatening Dr. Raynor, who then immediately took off. Abe asks about the test results. Nicole asks if they can really trust test results in Salem. Abe says if she's right, this is all very sad. Nicole agrees and says she has a horrible feeling that she's right and an even worse feeling of what it will do to Eric.

Eric brings up Xander taking Brady's job as CEO of Titan after Brady's daughter died. Eric warns Xander that he's not down and he's not taking his daughter from him. Sarah apologizes to Eric for not telling him about her and Xander getting engaged. Sarah says they know exactly who Mickie's father is. Sarah tells Xander to respect that Eric's concerns are valid then tells Eric that he doesn't have the right to dictate her life. Sarah says because of Mickie, their lives will always be intertwined. Sarah suggests they try to act like grown ups. Xander responds that he will if Eric does. Eric says he will if Xander stops provoking him. Sarah complains that this is supposed to be the happiest day of her life but she's too busy dealing with them. Xander apologizes to Sarah and Eric. Xander knows he has to prove himself so that Eric will trust him. Eric tells Sarah that he'll help her get Mickie home and settled in. Xander says that's no problem as he has some business to tend to. Xander tells Sarah that he will see her later and kisses her as he then exits. Sarah knows it's hard for Eric to believe but Xander really loves her and Mickie and there's nothing he wouldn't do for them.

Ciara and Ben continue their shower together.

Kristen tells Brady that he's the best thing that's ever happened to her and she's so sorry that her grief keeps her from letting him know how grateful she is to still have him. Brady says he feels the same. Brady suggests they go meet Seth Burns at the hospital to get this charity started and then they will come back to plant her flowers for Rachel. They then head to the hospital.

Abe asks Nicole why Xander would switch the babies. Nicole suggests it could be to get closer to Sarah or to hurt Kristen. Nicole says she knows when Xander is threatening to destroy your life or hurt someone you love and she saw the look he gave Dr. Raynor. Nicole insists that Xander bribed Dr. Raynor even though she can't prove it. Abe asks if she's doing this to get the truth out or to settle a score with Xander.

Roman finishes calling in an order so Hattie confronts him about avoiding her question. Roman tells her that they are at work and they have things to do so it's not the time or place to talk. Hattie says it's a yes or no question. When Roman doesn't answer, Hattie declares that she's done with this job and him as she removes her apron and storms out.

Ciara and Ben continue kissing in the shower.

Eric tells Sarah that all they have to do is sign the release papers and they can take Mickie home. Eric apologizes for their conversation earlier but says they needed to have it. Sarah guesses he will never trust Xander which means he'll never trust her fully. Eric admits her personal life is none of his business. Sarah says it would really help if he tried to accept Xander because he makes her happy. Eric argues that Sarah deserves better. Sarah brings up how Rex couldn't commit but she pushed him away because she was falling in love with Eric. Eric says he loved her too. Sarah points out how he immediately fell out of love with her the second that Nicole came back and he forgave her for lying to him about her baby. Eric says they are past that now. Sarah questions Eric thinking Nicole can change but Xander can't. Eric wishes he trusted Xander but he doesn't and he's worried that he's going to hurt her. Sarah mocks the idea that Nicole will never let him down again. Eric is sure they will have rough spots but he knows Nicole will never keep a secret from him again ever.

Nicole tells Abe that she will never forgive Xander for all the things he did to her. Abe asks if this is about getting revenge on him. Nicole insists it's about finding the truth and if Mackenzie isn't Eric and Sarah's baby and Kristen and Brady's baby didn't die, then they all need to know as they will affect their lives profoundly and hers too. Abe asks what happens to Eric and Sarah if it's true that their baby died. Nicole says that's why she has to have proof. Abe points out the test results but Nicole believes Xander had them altered.

Xander goes back to the doctor and wanted to make sure he's taking the secret to the grave. Xander warns that if he lets him down, he'll make that happen for him so the doctor then walks away.

Hattie goes to her room and begins packing her things. Roman knocks on the door wanting to talk but Hattie says she's tired of talking to him and him not talking to her. Roman convinces her to open the door. Hattie says there is nothing for him to explain to her. Hattie gets that she looks like his ex-wife without the soul or maybe he thinks an ex-cop can't date an ex-con. Hattie declares that she's done embarrassing herself and tells Roman to just go. Roman tells her that she should stay.

Eric and Sarah are signing Mickie's release papers when Brady and Kristen arrive at the hospital and greet them. Eric asks if there's any news on Marlena but Brady says he hasn't heard anything yet. Eric thought maybe that's why he was here. Brady explains that they had an idea to make a contribution to the pediatric wing after Mickie's treatment and they are going to do it in Rachel's name. Eric says that's great. Kristen starts to cry so Sarah sits with her.

Nicole tells Abe it's weird to feel sorry for Kristen but she knows how she feels. Nicole says Xander and Sarah are going to get married and he would do anything to keep Sarah from knowing the truth. Nicole thinks that's what this is all about and that in Xander's own sick way, he really does love Sarah and would do anything for her. Abe points out that Xander knows Nicole is suspicious and she knows how vicious he is so he doesn't think Xander will sit by and let her play Nancy Drew. Abe advises Nicole to tread softly. Nicole agrees and declares she has to get to Dr. Raynor. Abe is not surprised that Nicole is not treading softly. Nicole argues that she can easily crack Dr. Raynor if she can figure out where she is. Nicole thanks Abe for the talk and hugs him as she then exits the Pub. Nicole then runs in to Xander and says she was just about to call him which he questions.

Sarah tells Kristen that Eric told her that she asked to hold Mickie. Kristen apologizes but Sarah says she understands what she was going through. Sarah brings up the hospital having a program for volunteers to hold babies whose mothers can't. Brady mentions that Kristen said she wanted to do something more than just give money. Sarah doesn't think she could ever be as brave as Kristen. Kristen feels she's not brave but Sarah encourages her. Sarah says to let them know if there is anything they can do to help their charity which Eric backs up. Sarah hugs Brady and tells him to take care of Kristen. Sarah and Eric then exit with Mickie as Kristen tells Brady that Sarah was so sweet but she can't understand since they get to take their baby home while she and Brady will never be able to.

Nicole tells Xander that she thought about what he said and realizes now that she was crazy to think he would switch the babies. Nicole adds that there was no reason for him to do it. Xander agrees and says that Nicole and Eric are happy while he and Sarah are happy so she should leave well enough alone. Nicole claims she's going to so Xander walks away. Abe comes out of the Pub and asks Nicole what that was all about. Nicole responds that she just told Xander what he needed to hear.

Ciara and Ben lay in bed together eating Chinese food. Ben's fortune cookie says he will be blessed with a loyal and loving friend. Ben says his loyal and loving friend saved his life. Ciara says she was being selfish because she can't imagine her life without him in it. Ciara's fortune says she will find her forever love between the sheets. Ben says there's only one way to find out as they kiss in bed.
