Days of Our Lives Update Wednesday 3/4/20

Kristen enters a waiting room at the hospital and says that Gabi is right that she is no saint. Kristen sees an "In loving memory of" photo of Haley Chen on the wall and says she's so sorry and that she would change things if she could. Kristen states that when Haley told her that her baby was dead, she lost her mind and she's so sorry. Kristen sits down and cries.

Dr. Raynor argues with Xander that she has patients who need her and she's part of the team working to save Mackenzie's life. She mentions them both knowing that she isn't his or Sarah and Eric's. Xander reminds her that she was paid a great deal of money to keep that information to herself. She says she took that money against her better judgment but she intended on abiding by the terms of the deal but now she ran in to Brady and Kristen, who thanked her for giving them a few moments with their daughter and called her a hero when she's the reason they believe their child is dead. Xander calls it a little late to grow a conscience. Dr. Raynor doesn't think she can live with this secret. Nicole comes back and asks if she's interrupting something, asking if it feels a little tense in here. Nicole asks Xander what's going on.

Victor and Maggie eat together at Julie's Place but Maggie says she should be behind bars. Victor feels there's no reason for that. Maggie tells him that she didn't want bail because she wants to pay for what she did but Victor made that decision for her. Victor argues that she doesn't need a prison sentence because she will punish herself more than any prison sentence ever could. Maggie says she has a conscience unlike him. Maggie can't stand that her drinking killed Adrienne and that Will spent all that time behind bars because Victor decided he should take the fall for something she did. Victor responds that Will is free now and home with Sonny.

Sonny sits with Will at the Kiriakis Mansion and says at least he didn't get shot. Will jokes that Sonny has terrible taste in men. Will wonders why they haven't heard from Ciara yet and what if she doesn't make it. Rafe storms in demanding to know where Evan/Christian is since he has David.

Ben complains that he can't move. Marlena encourages him to kepe breathing. Marlena watches Ben as security alarms start to go off. Ciara then bursts in with the gun held on Christian and cops following her with their guns raised while Ciara yells for them to stop the execution. The Warden questions what she's doing here and how she got in. Ciara says she will tell him everything if he stops the execution. Ciara shouts that Ben did not klil Jordan, Christian Maddox did and he's the real murderer.

Xander tells Nicole that everything is fine and he was just telling Dr. Raynor that Mackenzie's procedure better work. Nicole calls him a jerk for threatening a woman and assures that the doctor will do everything she can to save the baby. Dr. Raynor walks away while Nicole remarks that it was stupid even for Xander to harass a doctor right before she save Mackenzie's life. Xander tells Nicole to mind her own business for once and storms off.

Will and Sonny tell Rafe that Christian had a gun until Will tackled him and then Ciara got the gun and dragged Christian out at gunpoint to try and stop Ben's execution.

The Warden orders Ciara to put the gun down. Ciara says she will when he stops the execution. He argues that she's only making it worse. Ciara asks how it could be any worse than killing Ben. He threatens to have the guard shoot her. Ciara tells him to go ahead when she's bringing him the real killer while he's killing an innocent man. Marlena argues that it will go viral. The Warden calls for the alarms to be shut off while Ciara orders Christian to tell him that it was him who killed Jordan, not Ben.

Maggie tells Victor that it's not his call and threatens to fire his lawyer so she can plead guilty in court. Victor says that won't happen. Maggie asks if he has any idea what driving drunk and killing someone feels like. Maggie says he wouldn't act like this if he did. Maggie feels that Victor doesn't feel it's a big deal and he just wants her to forget what she has done so he can resume his life as normal. Maggie cries about driving drunk and killing someone. Victor argues that she had a traumatic experience when Summer informed her that she was dying so she had a relapse but she's not a murderer. Victor says that accidents happen. Maggie feels he's just making excuses for her but she doesn't want to hear it because there wouldn't have been an accident without the vodka. Victor understands that she feels guilty. Maggie says she can't defend killing someone .Victor argues that she doesn't have to throw away the rest of her life. Maggie repeats that it's not his call. Maggie states that she didn't just kill Adrienne, but she could've killed Sarah and Mickie too. Victor thinks back to plotting with Xander about swapping the babies and never letting Maggie find out that she was responsible for the death of her granddaughter. Victor tells Maggie to stop beating herself up and think about all the wonderful things she has done. Maggie points out that she didn't just kill anyone, but a friend who was a mother and wife. Victor tells Maggie how loved she is. Maggie cries that she can't listen to any more. Victor brings up how much Sarah needs her. Maggie points out that Mackenzie is going to be okay and thanks God that she didn't hurt or her Sarah on that horrible night...

Dr. Raynor finds Kristen in the waiting room and asks what she's doing in here. Kristen says she wanted to see how Mackenzie Horton was doing because she means the world to her since she was born the same night as her baby girl. Kristen wants to watch her grow up and live a long happy life with her parents. Kristen says she thinks about what could've been and apologizes for all that information. She goes to leave but Dr. Raynor stops her and says there is something she should know about Mackenzie..

Rafe questions where David is if Ciara has "Evan". Will says that he didn't have him, but said he was safe. Sonny adds that he was doing all of this to get his son back so he won't hurt him. Rafe argues that he's crazy and they have no idea where the hell David is. Will suggests David could be somewhere on the estate so they decide to start searching.

Ciara demands Christian tell the truth now and forces him to look at Ben suffering. Ciara says that Ben is about to die for something Christian did. Ciara warns that she will make sure David grows up knowing that his dad was a murderous coward. Christian then breaks down and admits his real name is Christian Maddox and that he met Jordan a couple years ago in California. Christian says they were together for awhile and it ended badly but she never told him that she was pregnant so he only found out later that he had a son and he came to Salem to find him. Christian cries that he thought Jordan would lead him to him but she didn't then he caught her breaking in to the DiMera Gatehouse. Ciara notes that is where Ben found Jordan's body and tells Christian to go on. Christian flashes back to that night where he confronted Jordan in the gatehouse.

Victor thanks Maggie for sitting with him because having her with him is very important to him. Victor brings up that he and Adrienne didn't get along but they did have some things in common like putting family first. Victor argues that Adrienne wouldn't want Maggie taken away from Sarah and Mackenzie, she'd want her to forgive herself. Victor says that Maggie is needed by her children, grandchildren, and husband, adding that he would be lost without her. Xander arrives so Maggie asks if there is any word on the baby .Xander says that they haven't started the procedure yet but Sarah and Eric are with her now. Xander adds that he thinks Sarah would love if Maggie was there with her. Victor agrees. Xander says he's picking up food so he will see her there. Victor sends his best as Maggie then exits. Xander sits with Victor so he asks why he wanted Maggie out of here. Xander tells Victor that they need to talk because they have another problem.

Kristen asks what Dr. Raynor wanted to tell her but Nicole enters and apologizes as she was just going to wait here for Eric. Kristen says it's okay and that Dr. Raynor was just about to tell her something about Mackenzie. Dr. Raynor claims that she was just going to encourage her to be optimistic. Kristen suggests telling her parents that. Kristen then hurries out of the room. Dr. Raynor goes to leave too but Nicole stops her to ask something about Xander.

Rafe, Will, and Sonny are unable to find David. Sonny promises that Christian wouldn't hurt David. Rafe notes that none of David's friend's parents have seen him either. Rafe decides he's going to the prison to find out what that psycho did with his son.

Ciara asks what Christian did after he found Jordan. Christian's flashback continues as he demanded his son from Jordan but she said she had decided he wasn't his father, arguing that Rafe was a better father than he could ever be. Jordan told him he would never get near her son as long as she was alive so he then strangled her. Christian swears that he never meant to kill her but it just happened. Ciara asks if they heard what he just said and cries for the execution to be stopped. Marlena asks if the Warden really wants to be responsible for killing an innocent man.

Xander informs Victor that Dr. Raynor is back. Victor argues that she is supposed to be in the Dominican Republic as they had a deal and she took the money. Xander tells him that she said she talked to Brady and Kristen and felt bad about what they are going through. Victor complains about Kristen moping around. Xander reminds him that Kristen really does think her baby died. Victor says he would hate to think she pushed Haley down the stairs for nothing. Xander says he did this for Maggie but it's not fun or funny. Victor is sorry he offended his sensibilities. Xander asks what they do now. Victor tells him that they have to get rid of Dr. Raynor.

Dr. Raynor asks Nicole what about Xander. Nicole says she knows him better than most and he's an animal so if he's giving her a hard time, she'd be happy to deal with him for her. Dr. Raynor claims that Xander wasn't giving her a hard time and was just very worried about the baby. Nicole questions what the secret that they were talking about is. Nicole calls Xander a blackmailer who uses secrets to hurt people. Dr. Raynor says she was just explaining that she can't discuss Mickie's prognosis with him because he's not related to her. Nicole points out that she said secret. Dr. Raynor says that Xander just wanted her to keep it secret from her parents that he was talking to her about it but she wasn't comfortable with that. Dr. Raynor then exits. Nicole says she doesn't buy it.

Marlena argues that the Warden has the power to stop this since Christian confessed and Ben is innocent. Ciara points out that the gun is Christian's and he was threatening to kill them earlier. The Warden argues that it doesn't prove Ben's innocence. Ciara calls it reasonable doubt. Marlena says it doesn't prove Ben's innocence but it's enough information to reopen the investigation and stop the execution. The Warden gives in and announces he is putting Ben's execution on hold until they can get this sorted out. The doctor informs Ben that his crazy girlfriend may have just saved his life. Ciara hands over the gun to the guard so Christian tries to run but Rafe arrives with his gun on Christian, demanding to know where David is.

Will doesn't like that they haven't heard anything. Sonny guesses no news is good news. Will asks if Sonny is okay after finding out someone he cared about was a murderer. Sonny says first it was Leo and now Evan/Christian. Sonny calls Christian an actual villain for killing Jordan and he was going to let Ben die so he could get away with it. Will understands how he was with David made Sonny trust him. Sonny admits he didn't even really know him and he left Arianna around him. Will assures it's not his fault. Sonny worries about not knowing where David is. Will insists that Rafe will find him no matter what.

Rafe demands to know where David is. Christian responds that he has nothing to say to him. Ciara informs Rafe that Christian just confessed to killing Jordan and everyone here heard it. Rafe orders the cops to take Christian to the police station. Rafe tells Ciara that she could've been killed. Ciara points out that she wasn't and she stopped them from killing Ben. Rafe tells her that he's proud of her as he then exits.

Nicole goes back to the waiting room where Kristen is finishing a call. Kristen informs Nicole that there's a problem with a vendor in Vegas but Nicole says it's taken care of. Nicole asks Kristen about Dr. Raynor. Kristen says she was her baby's doctor.

Victor orders Xander to get rid of Dr. Raynor right away. Xander suggests paying her more money to make her leave but Victor points out that didn't work the first time so this one doesn't stay paid off. Victor says they need something more like closure. Xander refuses to kill anyone and worries that if she ends up dead, there could be an investigation. Victor points out that if she doesn't end up dead, she could turn them in. Victor calls her a loose end and he hates loose ends.

Ciara tells Ben they did it and he's going to be okay now. Ben then passes out from the first injections. The doctor checks on him while Ciara cries.

Nicole questions Dr. Raynor being Kristen's doctor. Kristen says that she delivered Rachel and was with her when she died.

Xander takes Dr. Raynor in to a hospital room. She questions what he wants. Xander wants her word that their secret will stay dead and buried.

Rafe brings Christian into the interrogation room and handcuffs him to the chair. Rafe says now that he's confessed to killing Jordan, he's not getting out for a long time so he needs to tell him where David is. Christian repeats that he has nothing to say to him, arguing that David is his son not Rafe's. Rafe says he might not be his biological son but he knows that he's scared of the dark, thunder and lightning, and that he can't sleep without his blanket. Rafe tells Christian to tell him where David is if he cares about him so he can make sure he's safe. Christian assures that he's just fine. Rafe doesn't trust him. Christian responds that when it comes to David, he doesn't have a choice and all he knows is that David is in very good hands...

Ciara cries for the doctor to do something. He says that Ben's heart is stopping and the only way to reverse it is to flush his system with a counter fluid. Ciara tells him to do it but the doctor says it's too late, his heart has stopped. Marlena orders him to do it and the Warden tells him to do as she says. The doctor then injects into Ben's heart to try and revive him while Ciara cries that he can't die on her.

Maggie returns to Victor at Julie's Place and informs him that the procedure is done and the doctor thinks Mickie will pull through. Victor says he told her it would all work out. Maggie says that while sitting and waiting with Sarah, she realized that Victor did everything he did out of love and has always done everything he could to take care of. Victor says that he always will.

Kristen questions why Nicole is so interested in Dr. Raynor. Nicole says she seemed jumpy and on edge. Kristen guesses it's because she's here and she doesn't blame her for Rachel's death but running into her must have been painful for her. Kristen starts to cry and exits the room.

Dr. Raynor tells Xander that she can't keep that secret and nothing he can do or say can make her change her mind. Xander offers her more money and warns her to think about who she is dealing with because whatever Nicole told her about him is nothing compared to Victor.

Rafe questions Christian saying that David's in good hands. Christian says he has nothing more to say. Rafe declares he will find David without him but right now he's going to get Christian booked for murder one.

Sonny finishes a call with Justin's office and tells Will that Ben's execution is on hold. Will says that Ciara must have got there in time.

Ciara rushes to Ben's side as the doctor says they have a heartbeat so he's going to administer the counter agent. Ciara cries for Ben to wake up and come back to her. Ciara asks why he's not waking up. The doctor says to give it a minute. Ciara cries for Ben to come back to her. Ben then wakes up. Ciara thanks God that he came back. Ben tells Ciara that she saved him as she hugs him.
