Ciara says she will work around the clock to find David's father. Ben thanks her for always believing in him. Ciara offers him a ride in to town but Ben feels that's too risky so he needs to go. Ben promises to be careful and says all he will think about is getting back to her. They kiss goodbye. Ciara then unlocks the door and says she will see him soon. They go to leave when Rafe shows up at the door and catches them. Rafe says he was hoping Ben wasn't a complete idiot but this is the end of the road, game over.

Sonny goes to the interrogation room to see Gabi. Gabi talks about wanting DiMera's best attorney, pointing out how Stefano never served time. Sonny responds that Stefano never tried to kill someone in front of a crowd of people. Gabi tells him not to do this to her right now. Sonny thought she wanted to see him. Gabi calls this a nightmare. Sonny tells her that Justin doesn't think there's a way that she will avoid prison time so he's here to ask who gets to explain this to Arianna. Sonny talks about having to tell Arianna that Gabi tried to kill Julie multiple times. Sonny adds that Arianna adores Julie and asks if Gabi forgets her daughter exists. Gabi tells him not to do this. Sonny shouts that she's about to go to prison again and this time, they don't know for how many years.

Maggie goes to visit Will at the prison, saying it's good to see him but she was surprised to get his call. Will thanks her for coming. Maggie asks why he wanted to see her. Will thinks back to talking to Ciara about if the truth should come out about the accident that caused Adrienne's death. Maggie asks what it is.

Eric is at the Basic Black office, on the phone with Marlena. He says he's glad she and John are safe but notes that there is still no word on a bone marrow match so they will have to keep praying. Eric hangs up as Nicole enters the office and informs him that the entire office staff offered to get tested so there is going to be a match. Eric points out that Mickie doesn't have a sibling which is her best shot since he and Sarah are not a match so the odds are against them.

Victor says he already said why he wanted to have Tate tested, so Brady should be thanking him. Xander argues that Victor just came back from the hospital so he shouldn't be stressing him out like this. Brady calls that a convenient excuse and says if he had the strength to contact Theresa, he can tell him why he wanted to keep it a secret. Victor calls it unbelievable that Kristen is still getting in his head, accusing Kristen of having Brady believe there is a conspiracy going on here when there isn't. Brady tells him not to insult her because they are together. Brady states that Tate is his son so if he wants him tested or anything, he will arrange it. Xander says that's understood so he can go now. Brady tells Xander to get out of his face. Xander tells him to make him. Kristen suggests they just go. Brady argues that he came here for answers and can't believe that he thought Victor might be reasonable. Sarah walks in and yells at them to shut up because she has something to say. Sarah announces that she has the most incredible news as she just got a call from the hospital lab that there is a bone marrow match for her daughter. Victor asks who it is.

Ciara knows Rafe wants justice for Jordan but argues that Ben didn't do this. Rafe tells her it's not her call. Ciara exclaims that it's the truth. Rafe tells her that if she has proof, she can bring it to the police station and give it to his lawyer. Ciara admits she doesn't have proof but she thinks she knows. Ben tells her that Rafe is right that it's over. Ciara says if Rafe ever cared about her at all, he will not do this. Ciara argues that Ben's execution date is next Friday so it will be on Rafe's head that an innocent man was killed. Rafe argues that he was already tried by a judge and jury so he has to do his job.

Will tells Maggie that he's sorry to hear that Mickie's chemo didn't work and if she hasn't found anyone, he would like to get tested to see if he's a match. Maggie tells him they haven't found a donor and she wishes it could've been her. Maggie thanks Will for asking. Will says they are family. Maggie responds that she owes him an apology because she should've come to see him long before now but it hurts her to see him here, because the worst night of his life was her's too.

Nicole knows Eric's faith is being tested right now. She gives him a drawing that Holly made for him this morning of them together. Nicole says they are a family and fought so hard to be together so nothing will tear us apart now.

Sarah explains that she doesn't know who the match is but the hospital just said they have a match. Sarah calls it a miracle and goes to call Eric. Kristen notes that it's not her or Brady so it has to be someone who just got tested. Brady guesses it was Theresa or Tate.

Sonny tells Gabi about having to take Arianna to prison to visit her mom and her dad. Gabi cries that he's being horrible. Sonny shouts that he gets to and wishes he could smack her in the face because she has a beautiful daughter that she cares nothing about. Gabi says that's not true. Sonny argues that if Arianna didn't have an earache, she would've been there to watch her try to kill Julie. Gabi blames Lani for pushing her in to a corner and attacking her. Sonny says Lani was just telling people the horrible things she did. Gabi insists that Lani had to pay for killing Stefan. Sonny doesn't know why he bothers talking to her. Gabi tells him not to tell her that she doesn't think about her daughter because she loves her and now she's going to lose her. Gabi cries that it's not fair.

Will asks Maggie what she's talking about and what happened that night. Maggie informs him that her daughter went into labor and needed her but she was drunk. Will asks if she wants to talk about it. Maggie says there's no excuses. Will asks her what happened. Maggie explains that out of the blue, her daughter Summer showed up with a bottle of vodka and the news that she was dying of liver disease which she blamed on her. Maggie admits she thought Summer was right and the guilt was overwhelming. Will tells her he's sorry. Maggie wishes she never took the first drink but the next morning, she didn't remember anything about that night at all. Maggie says she was supposed to take Sarah to the hospital but she let both of her daughters down and it was terrible. Maggie adds that the one good thing that happened is that she didn't get behind the wheel. Will then asks if she's sure.

Eric got Nicole flowers for Valentine's Day and they kiss until Eric's phone rings with a call from Sarah, who informs him that there is a match. Eric says he'll be right there and hangs up, telling Nicole that it's a miracle.

Xander says Sarah will be back in a minute so they can talk about it later. Brady tells him it's none of his business. Brady tells Victor that giving bone marrow is not like giving blood, this is a big deal and Tate is his son so anything done to him goes through him. Xander asks if Brady can leave now since Sarah just found out her kid might not die so they don't have to talk about this now. Brady decides he's tired of talking to brick walls. Kristen warns Victor that he overplayed his hand once again as she and Brady then exit. Xander tells Victor that the match has to be Tate. Xander worries about Brady and Kristen already being suspicious and asks how to explain this so they don't tip them off that Mackenzie is actually their child as Sarah comes back into the room.

Brady and Kristen go to the Basic Black office where Nicole tells them they just got the best news but they already know. Kristen notes they were there when Sarah got the call. Nicole points out that they don't seem very happy. Brady says he loves Mickie and wants her to get well but the match may be Tate since Victor had Tate tested behind his back and then immediately, there's a match. Nicole thought that was a long shot. Kristen asks how Victor knew to get Tate tested while Brady wonders why he insisted Theresa keep it a secret from him. Nicole says it doesn't make any sense since the odds are astronomical. Brady declares that Victor doesn't do anything without knowing the odds.

Sarah tells Xander that she's going to meet Eric at the hospital. Victor asks if she told Maggie the good news. Sarah responds that she can't because they make you surrender your phone before going to the prison visiting room and she went to see Will. Xander questions why. Sarah says that Will called and asked her to come so she guesses he was lonely. Sarah tells Xander that she's going to get Mickie, kisses him, and exits. Xander turns to Victor to question why Will called Maggie, guessing that Ciara must have told him the truth. Xander decides he has to get over there but Victor says no and tells him to go to the hospital with Sarah so she doesn't know anything is up. Victor adds that he'll have Henderson drive him and tells Xander to call him if he finds out that Tate is the match so he can come up with a cover story. Xander worries that it's all starting to unravel. Victor declares that they can't let that happen as Maggie can never know the truth. Xander then exits.

Maggie asks why Will would ask her if she's sure she didn't drive. Will points out that she said she doesn't remember anything about that night so he asks how she knows she didn't try to drive. Maggie admits she doesn't know for sure since she just woke up the next morning in her bed and just assumed. Will doesn't want to upset her but he does remember everything about that night. Maggie knows he's paid a terrible price and how much he has lost. Maggie hopes and prays that Will gets a second chance.

Ciara argues that Rafe looked the other way when Hope shot Stefano which he calls a really big mistake. Ben understands Rafe has no choice but to take him in. Ciara asks Rafe to think about David since Ben is the only family he has left and asks if Rafe wants to be responsible for having him killed. Rafe asks if Ben was thinking about David when he killed his mother. Ciara screams that Ben didn't do it. Rafe orders Ben to step away. Ciara cries for him to stop but Rafe begins to arrest Ben until Ciara grabs a bat and knocks out Rafe from behind. Ciara then orders Ben to run.

Xander and Sarah bring Mickie to the hospital. Xander asks what happens next. Sarah says they have to contact the match and see if they are healthy and willing to donate then they will administer an intense chemotherapy to destroy Mickie's immune system. Sarah worries that so many things could still go wrong. Xander encourages her to focus on that there's a match so she has a better chance than yesterday as he hugs her. Eric then arrives at the hospital.

Kristen thought Brady got her flowers but Nicole clarifies that Eric got them for her. Kristen is surprised that Nicole and Eric are back together then informs her that she and Brady are too. Nicole remarks that she hopes Brady's life insurance policy is up to date. Brady tells her to cut it out. Brady gets a call and steps out to answer it. Kristen tells Nicole that she's waiting for the apology she owes her.

Will tells Maggie that there is one thing he doesn't remember about that night. Will says he was driving, looked down at his phone, but he doesn't remember drifting into the other lane. Will says he just heard a car honk. Victor then enters the room and tells Will long time no see. Maggie questions what Victor is doing here.

Gabi tells Sonny that he doesn't need to remind her about Arianna because he couldn't make her feel worse than she already does. District attorney James Giddens enters. Gabi tells him that she can't talk to him without her lawyer so he tells her that they will put her in a holding cell and try and schedule something in a week or two. Gabi argues that she can't wait that long. He informs her that he and her lawyer are very busy and worked out a plea deal but if she needs her lawyer before he explains it to her then that's her prerogative. Gabi asks what the deal is. He reveals the deal is 10 years in prison, no time out for good behavior and no chance of parole. He tells her to take it or leave it.

Ben checks on Rafe and says at least Ciara didn't kill him. Ciara tells Ben that he has to get out of here. Ben worries that she's going to be in a lot of trouble. Ciara shouts that they don't want her, they want him so he needs to get out before Rafe wakes up because she can't lose him. Ben tells Ciara that this is not goodbye. Ciara assures that she will see him as soon as she proves he's innocent and she loves him. They kiss and then Ben runs off. Ciara checks on Rafe and tells him she's so sorry as he wakes up. Ciara is thankful he's okay but Rafe questions what she has done. Ciara says she had to. Rafe argues that she helped a wanted killer get away and now she's assaulted the police commissioner. Rafe orders her to tell him where Ben is or he's bringing her in. Ciara tells him to go ahead and bring her in because her mom won't let him threaten her. Rafe says he has to tell her something about her mom.

Gabi argues that in ten years, her daughter will be almost grown by the time she gets out. James argues that she should've thought about that before admitting in front of 30 wedding guests, that she tried to kill Julie Williams and then gave it another try. He tells her to imagine how much he would love to take this to trial. He says it was a wedding where people had phones in their hand to record vows but got attempted murder as evidence. He warns that if this goes to trial, he will ask for a life sentence so ten years is a gift. He adds that it's a limited time offer and the clock is ticking as he exits the room. Gabi cries asking what she has done.

Victor brings up that Will called his wife and questions what he wanted to see Maggie about. Maggie asks what Victor is doing here and tells Victor that Will wanted to be tested to be a match for Mickie. Victor reveals that won't be necessary as they found a donor so Sarah took the baby to the hospital and was looking for her to go with her. Maggie tells Will that she will be back soon. Will tells her to tell Sarah how happy he is for her as Maggie then exits. Victor then questions why Will really wanted to see his wife.

Sarah tells Eric that this is the most wonderful news and all their prayers worked. Eric says it looks that way. Mickie wakes up crying so Eric offers to take care of her but Sarah says she needs a new diaper and takes the baby. Eric comments to Xander that he hears he and Sarah are together. Xander imagines he has a problem with that. Eric says he can't tell Sarah how to live her life but it doesn't help him forget the things that Xander has done to women. Eric warns that if he ever hurts Sarah or his daughter, he'll have to answer to him.

Nicole questions what Kristen wants an apology for. Kristen says it's for making Brady go along with the lie that they were together just to torment her. Nicole brings up Kristen pushing nurses downstairs, taking pot shots at brides, and put on a mask to pretend to be her just to get Brady back in bed and staged her daughter's death. Nicole questions her being the one who hurt Kristen's feelings and doesn't see her as fragile. Kristen argues that she saved Nicole's life. Nicole says she did everything she could to steal it back. Kristen adds that Haley didn't just give her bad news, she told her that her baby girl was dead after she held her once and then never got to see her again. Kristen tells Nicole that she hates her but she hopes she never has to go through that much pain. Brady comes back in and says that the call was from Theresa, who heard from the registry.

Rafe brings Ciara to the police station where she questions why no one told her that her mom was in prison thinking she was someone else. Rafe argues that they tried but she was too busy harboring a fugitive. District Attorney James comes over and asks what's this about harboring a fugitive.

Gabi cries that ten years might as well be ten lifetimes to not hold Arianna for that long. Gabi says she'll be in college by the time she gets out. Gabi calls it torture and says she can't do it again. Sonny tells her that she has to think about the case against her so if it was him, he would take the deal.

Maggie goes to the hospital. Sarah and Eric take Mickie to see the oncololgist while Maggie joins Xander. Xander asks Maggie how Will is. Maggie says he's fine but thinks back to Will talking to her about if she got behind the wheel that night. Xander asks if she's alright.

Will informs Victor that Ciara told him that he didn't kill Adrienne and that Maggie was driving drunk which caused the accident and that Victor and Xander covered up for Maggie by framing Will. Victor argues that Will confessed and admitted to killing Adrienne so they believed him, claiming they were just trying to cover up a drunk driving charge for Maggie. Will argues that the way he protected Maggie cost him a year of his life and his marriage. Victor asks if he's going to tell Maggie his version of the crime to get back at him and if he's thought at all about what that would do to Maggie that she might have killed her own, but he stops. Will questions killed her own what.

Gabi cries that it's easy for Sonny to tell her to take the deal when he won't have to live a decade in a living Hell so she tells him to shut up. Sonny reminds her that the district attorney said she doesn't have much time to make the decision. Gabi declares that she doesn't need time because she knows what she's going to do.

DA James Giddens introduces himself to Ciara and warns that if she doesn't tell them where Ben Weston is, he will have to charge her and prosecute her to the full extent of the law. Ben arrives and says there's no need as he's not a fugitive anymore.

Victor tells Will that Adrienne was like a daughter to Maggie and she thought of her as family. Victor says he will pull whatever strings he has to in order to get Will out sooner and he'll see that Arianna never wants for anything. Victor pleads with Will not to tell Maggie what he knows. Victor says that God saw fit to take that memory from her that night so he prays that she never remembers.

Xander asks Maggie if she's alright and tells her to talk to him but she remains distracted.

Brady reveals that Theresa is not a match so Nicole asks what about Tate.

Eric and Sarah get the results to find out who the match is. Sarah opens the envelope and tells Eric that he's never going to believe this.
