Victor is in his hospital bed, texting Xander to let him know if he's talked to Ciara yet. Maggie comes over and questions who he is texting. Victor says it's none of her business but Maggie takes his phone and reminds him that the doctor said he should be resting. Maggie suggests Victor to tell her what he wants to text and she will type it in. Maggie sees his message and questions why he and Xander need to talk to Ciara so urgently.

Ciara sits at the Kiriakis Mansion, thinking back to Victor telling her that she can't say a word to anyone about what really happened to Adrienne. Xander walks in and tells Ciara that he needs to know if she's going to keep her mouth shut about what Victor told her. Ciara tells him to stay away from her. Xander asks if she swears to keep what they did a secret. Ciara questions how she can do that when Will is in prison for a crime he didn't commit.

Justin goes to the hospital with Kayla and they talk about their plans for tonight. Kayla says she has to go check on Victor. Sonny comes over and warns Kayla that Victor is on edge more than usual. Kayla decides to go see what's going on and heads to his room. Sonny tells Justin that he's glad Victor is okay but their visit was intense so he's going to go. Justin stops him and says they have to talk. Justin hates to do this but hands Sonny an envelope from Will's lawyer with his divorce papers inside.

Brady goes to the Basic Black office and tells Kristen that as he was driving up, he saw Gabi DiMera leaving. Kristen claims to know nothing about that. Brady asks her again. Kristen claims that Gabi just came by to see how she was getting along with Brady and Nicole. Kristen tells him that she told her that three's a crowd.

Nicole prepares to leave the apartment when she is surprised to see Eric return home.

Xander tells Ciara that she knows why she has to keep her mouth shut. Ciara tells him to back off. Xander refuses until she swears to not say anything to anyone. Ciara argues that she cares about Will and what they are doing is wrong. Xander orders her to drop it now or else lives will be destroyed and he and Victor won't let that happen. Xander is then surprised as Sarah returns home with baby Mickie.

Eric thought Nicole would be at work. Nicole says she was just going but asks what Eric is doing here and if Mickie is okay. Eric says she is tolerating the chemo so far. Eric explains that as long as they consult with the oncologist in Boston, she said they could come home for Mickie's final treatments at the hospital. Eric informs her that they have a meeting with Kayla to go over their options. Nicole guesses it must be better for them to be home with friends and family. Nicole asks if that means Eric is home for good. Eric says he hopes so. Nicole tells him that he's been so kind to let her and Holly stay at the apartment, but now that he's home, she assumes he would like them to move out.

Brady tells Kristen that he agrees that three's a crowd because of her. Brady tells Kristen that he loves Nicole but Kristen doesn't believe him.

Will has a nightmare about Adrienne visiting him in prison. Will thinks Dr. Rolf brought Adrienne back like he did for him. She tells him that he ended everything when everything was going so well until he destroyed it. Will then wakes up in his cell as he was just having a nightmare.

Sonny didn't think the divorce papers would happen this fast. Justin knows it's not easy and tells him to sign whenever he's ready then he will get them back to Will's lawyer for his signature. Sonny thinks he wants to handle this another way.

Maggie asks Victor what's going on. Victor tells her that it's Titan business. Maggie tells him to let Xander deal with it since he's the CEO while Victor is retired and in the hospital. Maggie says she's trying to keep him from having another stroke. Kayla walks in to ask what is going on. Maggie tells her that Victor refuses to disconnect from the office. Victor argues that he sent one text. Kayla notes that Sonny mentioned he was on edge. Kayla checks Victor's blood pressures and sees it is a little high so they will keep him until it's back to normal. Kayla says she will be back to check on him as she is going to set up a meeting with Sarah and Eric. Maggie is so glad they brought Mickie back for her next treatments as she can't wait to see them.

Sarah asks if everything is okay. Xander says it's fine and it's just wonderful to have her home. Ciara says she would love to hear about how Mickie is doing but she has to go. Xander says they haven't finished their conversation. Ciara is sure he would rather catch up with Sarah so she exits. Xander tells Sarah that he missed them so much and all that matters is that they are back. Xander calls Mickie beautiful just like her mom.

Eric tells Nicole that she doesn't have to move out as he still has a room at the Pub. Eric adds that he'll probably spend most of his time at the hospital and just came for a few of his things. Eric tells her to feel free to stay and keep her routine with Holly. Eric asks how Holly is. Nicole says she's great and learning in school. Nicole mentions having to get to work so Eric says he will see her around. Eric looks at the dollhouse he had got for Holly as Nicole then exits.

Sarah tells Xander that she and Eric have an appointment at the hospital soon to go over Mickie's treatment plan. Xander wishes he could be involved in all of this and be there to support her and the baby but he understands why that's not possible and why he has to stay away from them. Xander knows Eric doesn't want him around the baby and he promised to move out of the mansion now that she's back. Xander says he will miss them terribly but he has to do what's right. Sarah stops him and says she doesn't want him to leave. Sarah says she will talk to Eric and make him see that seeing Xander is good for the baby. Sarah tells him that she will tell Eric after their appointment. Sarah thanks Xander for everything and says they will see him soon as she then exits with Mickie.

Ciara goes to the hospital where Justin asks how she's holding up. Ciara says not so good as she didn't want to believe Ben could lose his last appeal but now he is on death row. Ciara asks if they have set a date yet. Justin says not yet and he's sorry he couldn't do more for Ben. Justin adds that the only thing that will save Ben is if Victor or Xander confess and they both still insist they had nothing to do with Jordan's death. Ciara informs Justin that they didn't.

Sonny goes to see Will at the prison.

Brady tells Kristen to accept that he and Nicole are back together. Kristen doesn't believe he will settle for Nicole when he could have her. Brady tells her that she's wrong. Kristen tries getting close to him. Brady brings up only going to bed with her because he thought she was Nicole. Kristen argues that deep down he knew it was her since she's the one he still wants and he'll never have that passion for anyone else. Nicole walks in so Brady goes over and begins kissing Nicole in front of Kristen. Kristen tries turning away in frustration. Brady then kisses Nicole onto the desk, causing Kristen to scream that it's enough and for Nicole to get her hands off of Brady. Nicole asks Kristen what she's going to do to her.

Kayla meets with Eric and Sarah with Mickie in her office. Kayla welcomes them home and says it's great to see them. Sarah says they were thrilled to come back to Salem. Kayla assures they will work close with the team in Boston. Kayla gets a call from the doctor in Boston and says they were just talking about going over the plan. Kayla says she will explain and get back to her. Sarah asks what's wrong while Eric hopes they don't have to go back to Boston for treatment. Kayla reveals there is not going to be a treatment because Mackenzie's numbers came in and the chemo is not working.

Maggie tells Victor that she's worried about baby Mickie since she's been through so much. Victor encourages that she will be fine and says she has to be after everything that has happened to this family.

Justin questions Ciara saying Victor and Xander had nothing to do with Jordan's death when she was so adamant about their guilt. Ciara explains that after she broke the news to Ben, she came back to confront Victor and Xander again and they convinced her that they didn't do it. Justin asks how and brings up Ciara hearing them admit they sent an innocent man to prison.

Sonny returns the divorce papers to Will. Will says he could've just signed them and given them back to Justin. Sonny felt they owed it to each other to sit down face to face and agree that ending their marriage is the right thing to do. Sonny asks Will one more time if this is really what he wants. Will sits down and admits this is not what he wants, but their marriage was over the day that he killed Sonny's mother so he has to let him go now. Sonny argues that he can't let go. Will shouts that he has to. Will tells him about his dream of Adrienne saying he ruined all their lives. Sonny argues that their lives aren't over but Will yells that Adrienne's is, she's not coming back, and he cannot undo that so nothing will ever fix this. Will tells Sonny there is only one thing left to do so he signs the divorce papers and turns them over to Sonny, telling him that it's his turn.

Justin asks Ciara about her listening in on Victor and Xander saying they sent an innocent man to prison. Ciara admits she was eavesdropping. Justin doesn't understand how they possibly explained that admission. Ciara claims she misunderstood because she wanted to save Ben so bad that she heard what she wanted to hear. Justin asks if she thinks Ben killed Jordan then. Ciara says of course not but she also knows that Victor and Xander didn't do it either. Maggie comes by so Justin asks how Victor is doing. Maggie says that Victor refuses to avoid stress and now his blood pressure is up so she's going to get him some green tea. Maggie returns Sonny's scarf to Justin. Justin mentions that Sonny just went to visit Will at the prison so it's possible that they are signing their divorce papers. Maggie asks if there's no hope for their marriage. Justin explains that Will thinks the damage done when he killed Adrienne is beyond repair.

Xander returns to Victor's room at the hospital where Victor asks if Ciara promised to keep their secret. Xander says he tried but Sarah came home and Ciara took off. Xander admits he's more concerned about baby Mackenzie, arguing that Eric doesn't know her at all so it kills him that Eric gets to be part of her life while he doesn't. Xander notes that maybe there is hope since Sarah will let him stay at the mansion. Victor repeats that Mackenzie has to be fine after everything the family has been through.

Eric questions the chemo not working. Sarah says they knew there were no guarantees but she seemed to be responding so well. Kayla says the numbers say otherwise. Eric asks what they do now. Kayla assures they are not giving up as there are other ways to treat this. Sarah guesses she needs a bone marrow transplant which Kayla confirms is her best hope at this point. Kayla explains that high risk cases like Mickie's don't respond to chemo as well. Eric questions a bone marrow transplant for an infant. Sarah says it's their only choice and their best hope at a match is a full sibling. Eric argues that she doesn't have that. Kayla says the next step is testing the parents. Eric wants to do it now so Kayla agrees to draw the blood herself and put a rush on it. Kayla goes to get what she needs. Sarah worries that the odds of one of them being a match are not good but they will hope and pray.

Nicole asks Kristen what she's going to do again. Kristen warns that she'll find out. Brady asks for a moment alone with Kristen before she does something she'll regret. Kristen remarks that she wouldn't regret doing anything to Kristen. Brady tells Nicole that he'll handle this. Nicole comments that she wouldn't be able to get anything done with Kristen in the room anyways so she exits. Brady tells Kristen that if she wants to work her, she's going to have to deal with the fact that he's in love with Nicole and that's not going to change. Kristen argues that Brady is just using Nicole to push her away and Nicole is using him because she lost Eric and can't stand to be alone. Kristen gets that she hurt him and she knows he's doing this to protect himself. Kristen argues that what he has with Nicole doesn't come close to their connection. Kristen shows Brady her bracelet and asks if he remembers it.

Maggie comments that a divorce is so final and so sad as her heart breaks for Will and Sonny. Justin says it's their decision so they have to respect it. Justin has to get to work and hugs Maggie. Justin encourages Ciara to hang in and says he's there if she needs him as he then exits the hospital. Maggie tells Ciara that she knows how hard it's all been on her with the news about Ben, Victor's health scare, and now Will and Sonny separating. Ciara is happy that Victor is going to be okay. Maggie tells her that Victor really wants to see her and it seems urgent as he claimed it's about Titan business but maybe she could put his mind at ease so he can relax by going to see him. Ciara responds that she would love to but she really can't as she has something else to do that can't wait. Ciara hugs Maggie and then exits the hospital.

Sonny tells Will that he can't do it. Will argues that he has to sign it and insists it will be so much easier. Sonny asks about Arianna. Will argues that she has him and Gabi. Sonny asks what he has to say or do. Will yells that nothing will change his mind so Sonny then signs the divorce papers. Will says he will get them back to his lawyer so Sonny doesn't have to do anything else but say goodbye. Will tells the guard they are done here and says goodbye to Sonny so Sonny then exits. Will throws the papers in frustration.

Kayla finishes drawing blood from Eric and Sarah, saying she'll put a rush on the lab. Sarah says it will be a couple hours at least. Kayla suggests they go home and get some rest then she will call as soon as she knows if they are a match. Sarah doesn't want to leave without her baby but she wants to see her mom since she's here with Victor. Kayla agrees to go get Maggie so she exits. Eric offers to take Mickie to his place so she can nap. Eric says he'll call when she wakes up. Sarah thanks him as Eric takes Mickie and exits.

Kristen reminds Brady that he got her the bracelet on the day their baby was born which she thought would be the best day of their lives but it turned out to be the worst. Kristen adds that they never talked about it so she thinks it's time they have that talk.

Eric takes Mickie to the Brady Pub. Nicole comes in behind him and comments on Mickie being so beautiful. Nicole asks Eric what's wrong. Eric informs her that they just left Kayla's office where they found out the chemo is not working. Nicole says she's so sorry. Eric says he's trying to hold it together for Sarah. Nicole says that Eric is always so strong for everyone but he doesn't have to be that way with her as she hugs him.

Maggie goes to Kayla's office to see Sarah. Maggie hugs her and says she's so sorry to hear about the baby. Sarah cries that she's so scared because she didn't go through everything just to lose her. Maggie encourages that she is here for her.

Justin meets Sonny outside and asks if he saw Will. Sonny confirms that he left the papers with him. Justin asks if he hadn't signed them yet. Sonny informs him that they did so their marriage is legally and officially over. Justin hugs him and tells him he's sorry.

Ciara goes to see Will at the prison. Will says he'll go let Ben know that she's there but Ciara says she actually came to see him.

Victor argues that Xander should've made Ciara promise to keep their secret. Xander argues that Victor shouldn't have said anything in the first place. Victor says he had no choice as he was about to lose her. Xander says now he might lose everything. Xander brings up the consequences for a lot of people if Ciara speaks. Xander prays that Ciara keeps quiet because if she doesn't, all hell will break loose..

Ciara informs Will that she just saw Justin at the hospital and asks about the divorce papers. Ciara tells him that he can't sign them. Will responds that it's too late because he already did. Ciara says he can't file them then. Will says he has to because he and Sonny are never going to get past the fact that he killed his mother. Ciara tells Will that he didn't which he questions. Ciara says she came to tell Will that he's innocent, he did not kill Adrienne.
