Maggie joins Victor in the living room of the Kiriakis Mansion, pointing out that he's not drinking and he's smiling. Victor tells her that he's reading Sonny's annulment papers again. Maggie suggests having them framed. They agree not to talk about Leo. Victor remarks that Leo put a curse on this whole family but now that curse is lifted..

Gabi and Sonny are with Will in his hospital room where Will explains to Gabi how Leo put a curse on him. Sonny looks up methods to remove the hex while Will feels Sonny is refusing to take this seriously. Sonny believes it's ridiculous but Will points out that he still ended up in the hospital. Sonny notes that he wasn't poisoned so Gabi questions why he's still in the hospital. Sonny says they are just waiting on his test results. Gabi says they won't find anything if it's a curse. Sonny argues that there's no such thing as a curse and that Will is fine. Sonny wonders what is taking the lab so long and goes to find out. Will comments that the curse seems to be working.

In her room at the DiMera Mansion, Chloe finishes a call with Julie, telling her she will not sign off on that. Stefan comes in to bring her breakfast. Chloe complains about Julie trying to turn Doug's Place into a retirement home and how she gets on her nerves. Chloe brings up the drug cartel being after her and not sleeping well. Stefan informs her that he does have an update.

Brady meets Eric outside and questions where he's been. Eric guesses he's anxious to blackmail him. Brady argues that he's just giving him a choice; help him get Chloe out of Stefan's house or he has to tell Rex about Eric and Sarah. Eric mocks the choice as being blackmailed or not so he chooses not to be. Brady asks if he doesn't care then if he tells Rex that he's been making out with his fiancee. Eric tells him to go ahead as it won't have quite the impact since Rex already knows.

At Eric and Rex's apartment, Sarah thinks back to when she kissed Eric. Sarah hopes she did the right thing as Rex comes out and asks if she means putting the ring on her finger.

Will tells Gabi about how he passed out after a killer headache. Will admits it was scary as he had never fainted before. Will says it wasn't lack of eating or being tired. Will talks about researching on the internet and finding out fainting could be a result of heart problems or brain problems. Gabi encourages him as Will talks about what else it could be. Gabi says he will be fine because he needs to be for everybody that loves him and he won't let them down.

Stefan informs Chloe that Ben got a tip from a man who claims he can identify the men who shot at the house. Chloe apologizes for having an attitude as she's just frustrated. Stefan gets that she's going through a lot and assures that he'll take care of it. Stefan adds that when he does, maybe he'll finally get to take her out on a date as he then exits her room.

Rex asks Sarah if she needs more time to think about this. Sarah assures she said yes and she meant it because she wants to marry him. Sarah adds that she was just wondering if she should've told him about the whole Eric thing. Rex says he's in no position to get upset over a kiss. Rex adds that he wouldn't want it to happen but it did so he's trying to look at the bright side that she's able to get over him and move on. Sarah thanks him for understanding as he kisses her. Rex suggests they talk about anything else. They joke about being an old married couple as they kiss and he picks her up.

Brady doesn't believe Eric but he tells him he can call Rex. Brady mocks Eric being so saintly that he had to confess. Eric reveals that he didn't, Sarah told him after he told her what Brady was up to. Brady asks what happened since he's sure Rex wasn't thrilled. Eric clarifies that Sarah took full responsibility so he's sure it confirmed to Rex that he's not after Sarah. Brady argues that doesn't mean he doesn't love her. Brady wants Eric to admit that he's once again in love with his brother's woman. Eric thinks back to praying to God where he said he'd never come between his brother and a woman if Marlena lived. Eric tells Brady that Sarah is just his friend and now that Rex knows, Brady has nothing on him so they are done here. Brady admits he didn't go about it the right way but he needs his help. Brady argues that Chloe and the kids aren't safe in Stefan's house. Eric states that Nicole wanted Chloe to raise Holly. Brady says Nicole wouldn't know that Chloe moved in with a DiMera. Eric calls it Chloe's call. Brady warns that if something happens to Holly, it's on Eric.

Rex and Sarah lay on the couch together after having sex and they joke together. Rex knows how close he came to losing her because of everything he did to her and he would've deserved it. Sarah asks to stop talking about the past and just concentrate on the future. Sarah asks when he wants to get married. Rex wants to as soon as possible. Sarah says they should probably tell their families first and mentions telling Maggie before work. Rex feels Maggie hates him or at least the idea of Sarah being with him. Sarah says Maggie can't say a word since she's with Victor Kiriakis.

Maggie tells Victor that she wants to congratulate Sonny in person. Victor explains that Sonny is in the hospital after Will fainted. Maggie asks why he didn't tell her. Victor says Sonny didn't want anyone alarmed but Maggie worries that Will was kept overnight at the hospital. Victor is sure it's nothing.

Will talks to Gabi about Sonny pretending not to buy the curse but he can tell he's freaking out. Gabi guesses he's afraid of losing Will again. Will wants to track down Leo and beat the crap out of him when he gets out. Sonny returns and says the lab is still working on it. Kate and Roman then enter the room. Kate says no one told her about Will being in the hospital while Roman adds they just came to cheer him up. Will claims it's nothing serious. Kate questions why Sonny didn't call her. Gabi says it's not his fault. Kate says she's concerned about Will. Sonny decides to leave Will alone with his family so he exits with Gabi. Roman asks Will if he's okay.

Eric questions Brady not thinking he cares about Holly's safety when he went to Greece to save her and Nicole's lives. Eric argues that Brady's only concern for Holly is because he hates that Chloe is living with Stefan. Brady brings up what Stefan did to Abigail and Gabi. Eric says this is more than worrying about Chloe's safety and they both know that. Brady insists that he and Chloe are just friends like Eric and Sarah are. Eric says if Brady is so concerned about Chloe's safety, he should rethink his tactics because giving her an ultimatum and lying to her is only repeating what he did to Nicole and now she's dead.

Sarah goes to the Kiriakis Mansion and announces to Maggie and Victor that she is engaged. Victor remarks about her sleeping with Xander. Sarah says she's moving out and Maggie should too. Maggie warns Victor not to say another word and guesses that Sarah accepted Rex's proposal. Victor brings up Rex cheating on Sarah twice and asks what kind of glutton for punishment she is.

Will encourages Kate and Roman to be patient as the lab is just backed up. Rex enters with the test results so they ask what it says. Rex confirms he was not poisoned. Roman mentions poison going around lately. Rex adds that almost everything came back normal which Kate questions. Rex informs Will that he has a slightly elevated white blood cell count which could be caused by stress, infection, or even allergies so they will need to run more tests. Will asks if that's really necessary. Kate declares if there's something wrong, they want to find out what it is immediately.

Gabi and Sonny sit together in the hospital. Gabi asks what Kate's problem is. Sonny asks if she expected to be treated like family after everything she's done. Gabi argues that Kate has done much worse and blames her for Sonny being stuck married to Leo. Sonny says that's over and he doesn't think he could've dealt with Leo one more day. Sonny hated being stuck with no way out. Gabi gets that since she's stuck like that with Stefan and him thinking that she likes him. Sonny questions where that is coming from. Gabi talks about Stefan loving to push her buttons. Sonny says it's obviously working since her buttons seemed pushed to him. Gabi then reveals to Sonny that she kissed Stefan so he asks how stupid she is.

Chloe joins Stefan in the living room and asks how things went with Gabi after she left. Stefan says he let Gabi have it for telling Brady that kissed Chloe. Chloe doesn't get why Gabi is sticking her nose in their business anyways. Stefan suggests she's jealous of Chloe or thinks he wants her. Chloe asks if he's saying every woman who looks at him, wants him. Stefan then reveals to Chloe that Gabi kissed him, claiming it would give him a taste of what he would never have as she thinks he wants her. Chloe asks if maybe she's not wrong.

Sonny asks if Gabi really wanted to kiss Stefan or if she did it to stir him up and shut him down. Gabi stops him, reminding him that Stefan framed her, sent her to prison, and almost ruined her life forever so she questions how she could ever be attracted to someone like that. Sonny responds that her romantic inclinations have always been a mystery to him. Gabi assures that she has never hated a man the way she hates Stefan DiMera.

Stefan tells Chloe that he's never hated anyone as much as he hates Gabi Hernandez, bringing up how she let him believe Charlotte was his daughter just to take her away so he can't stand the sight of Gabi. Chloe points out that he sure does talk about her a lot. Chloe asks if he felt nothing when Gabi kissed him. Stefan suggests only disgust but Chloe is unsure. Chloe decides to take the kids to school and leave him alone with his thoughts of the despised yet alluring Gabi.

Will asks Roman and Kate for some privacy. Rex assures he won't let anything happen to him and they wil find out what's wrong but he does require rest so they have to go. Rex then announces to Roman and Kate that Sarah said yes, so he is engaged. Roman congratulates him while Kate tells him not to screw it up again. Rex assures it's different this time with no secrets or lies. Roman and Kate then exit.

After Victor leaves, Maggie apologizes to Sarah for Victor's behavior but admits he may have a point. Maggie asks if she's sure about marrying Rex. Sarah tells her that Rex said he would never hurt her again so she believes him. Maggie thinks he wants to keep that promise but she's not sure if he can. Maggie brings up her feelings for Eric. Sarah reminds her that Eric said he doesn't feel the same about her. Maggie asks if Sarah said yes to Rex because she can't be with Eric. Sarah tells her that Rex knows about Eric and that she kissed him but she got over it which Maggie questions. Sarah knew Maggie would refuse to be happy for her. Maggie feels she's getting married for all the wrong reasons.

Chloe comes back into the living room to tell Stefan that Holly has a fever and she's mad because she was looking forward to the picnic at school. Stefan suggests having a picnic here and work can wait. Stefan takes Holly to the kitchen to find out what to eat.

Brady finds it sickening and outrageous that Eric continues to blame him for Nicole's death considering all Eric had to do was stay away from his girl. Eric doesn't want to relive the past but to keep Brady from going down the same path again. Brady mocks Eric doing everything right in his life and asks if he's forgot about Daniel. Brady then apologizes for bringing that up. Eric doesn't know what's happened to Brady but warns that if he even thinks about manipulating Chloe away from Stefan, he'll have to think of his own way because he's not going to help him. Eric then walks away so Brady decides it's on to plan B.

Sonny warns Gabi that Stefan is dangerous so she should not be playing with fire. Sonny brings up what Stefan did to Abigail. Gabi asks what about what she did to Abigail. Sonny understands she was traumatized from everything that happened to her. Gabi gets a text and says she has to go. Gabi asks Sonny to keep her updated on Will. Sonny assures he will be fine and they will go home to start their happily ever after together. Gabi hopes so as she hugs him and then exits the hospital. Rex comes out of Will's hospital room so Sonny asks if he has great news for him.

Maggie believes that Sarah said yes to Rex because she feels guilty about Eric. Sarah says that's not true. Maggie feels it's her way of putting Eric behind her. Sarah repeats that she realized she was infatuated with Eric but she loves Rex. Sarah thinks she was mainly interested in Eric to get back at Rex which she's not proud of. Maggie brings up Rex's track record not being great. Sarah argues that she's not perfect but they've learned from their mistakes so they are getting married and they are going to be happy. Sarah asks Maggie to just fake being happy for her. Maggie wants her to be right that Rex has changed and that she's really happy with him as she hugs her.

Sonny returns to Will's room and says he just wanted him released so he could come home. Will says that Rex said it could be due to stress so with Leo gone, he feels the stress will lower dramatically. Will is sorry this kept them from celebrating his new found freedom. Will jokingly asks Sonny if he has any plans now that he's single. Sonny jokes about having two failed marriages and no job prospects. They talk about being a match as they then kiss.

Roman and Eric sit together at the Pub. Roman talks to Eric about how they are running more tests on Will but it seems like there is nothing to worry about as he just wants to get home. Roman mentions Rex told them the news that Sarah accepted his proposal. Eric is surprised but says that's great and he's a lucky guy so he's happy for him. Roman asks what about Eric.

Kate joins Victor in the town square to tell him that she has a business proposition for him. Kate has decided to get back in the game so she wants him to know that she would consider coming back to Titan. Victor mocks that no one has made her an offer. Kate calls that a major oversight since she's a valuable asset who helped make Titan what it is today. Kate says she started at Bella Magazine and worked her way to the top so it would be like coming home. Victor doesn't trust her, bringing up how many times she tried to kill him. Kate says they had ups and downs. Victor declares that Kate will come back to Titan over his dead body which Kate says sounds good to her.

Rex comes back to check on Will and informs him that he will have to take off the lucky pendant that Sonny gave him to ward off the curse because he's having an MRI and there's no metal allowed. Sonny decides to keep it for him. Will takes it off and the chain breaks, so he hopes that's not an evil omen. Sonny says he'll get a new chain but Will says it's fine. Sonny kisses him as Rex then takes Will out of the room to get his MRI.

Gabi meets Brady outside and tells him that she doesn't have any news on Stefan and she's not going to have any because now Stefan suspects that she told Brady about Leo spying on him so he's watching her like a hawk. Brady informs her that there's something else he hoped she could help him with. Brady brings up Gabi telling him that Stefan is making moves on Chloe so he wants Gabi to put a stop to that.

Stefan and Chloe have a picnic with Holly in the living room. Stefan toasts to them as Chloe smiles.

Roman knows Sarah is a good friend of Eric's so he's worried that Rex might hurt her again but he thinks Rex has learned his lesson and he loves her very much. Eric agrees and says there is nothing more to say. Roman has to go and invites Eric to come by later to watch the Cubs game. After Roman walks away, Eric comments that he'd have nothing else to do. Eric gets up to leave as Sarah then enters the Pub.
