Sonny calls Will to tell him he just got back from court and he thinks the judge is considering dismissing the case. Sonny questions what happened to Leo's car. Will responds by asking what happened to the body as well as Kate appears behind him and asks what body.

Chad and Abigail talk until Abigail gets a text from Gabi. Abigail says she'll catch up with her later. Chad asks if she still feels guilty. Abigail says it's not easy to deal with being the reason she went to prison. Chad asks if that's why she was tossing and turning all night. Chad says he's still concerned and worried about her. Chad suggests she go back to bed to get more sleep but Abigail says she has things to do. Abigail guesses Chad has a full day as CEO of Titan. Chad asks if she's trying to get rid of him. Abigail says she would never. Chad admits he does have a packed day. Chad offers her coffee but she declines and kisses him goodbye as he exits.

Stefan sits in the DiMera Mansion, thinking back to his last conversation with "Gabby". Ted then walks in and introduces himself. Ted says he knows Stefan is blackmailing Kate and he's here to stop it.

Gabi comes over to see Abigail. Abigail worries about Chad seeing her. Gabi says they are still friends. Gabi mentions Abigail telling her she made a decision about the baby and then hanging up because Chad walked in. Gabi asks if she's ready to do this as they don't have a lot of time but they need to switch paternity results to pass off the baby as Chad's. Abigail responds that she's not having this baby.

At the hospital, Abe comes out of Lani's room where Eli comes over and asks how she is. Abe tells him that Valerie is giving her final exam before she is released. Eli asks if Lani is up for going to the cemetery. Abe notes that she is still fragile but he's glad Eli is there.

Valerie tells Lani that she is healing nicely from surgery so there is no reason she won't be released today. Lani asks how she buries her son.

Chad goes to the Kiriakis Mansion and asks Sonny if it's true that Leo didn't show up for court today which he confirms. Chad asks what that means for the case. Sonny isn't sure and tells him that Justin is in conference with the judge so they are hoping for a dismissal. Sonny thanks him for checking on him. Chad is glad the nightmare is almost over. Chad mentions that he promised Gabi he would talk to Arianna to try and convince her to take it easy on Gabi. Sonny informs him that he missed her as Arianna is away at camp. Chad feels bad since it wasn't Gabi's fault she was away. Sonny says he's been talking to Arianna a lot but not getting through. Chad talks about it hitting Gabi hard. Sonny gets a call from Justin.

Gabi thinks back to opening Abigail's test results and seeing that Chad really is the father. Gabi thought Abigail wasn't going to end the pregnancy. Abigail doesn't want to but she has to because she's not going to have Stefan's baby. Gabi thinks they have a solution. Abigail says it's lies or the truth and she's not going to lie to her husband or force him to live with the truth. Gabi calls it a big decision and asks if she's thought about this because there's no going back. Abigail informs her that she has made an appointment to get an abortion today. Gabi questions how she can even think about an abortion when she's capable of having a child and just getting rid of it. Gabi calls her selfish. Abigail argues that she's thinking about her marriage, family, and her son. Gabi argues that she's not thinking about the child she's going to sacrifice. Gabi complains that she might not be able to have children for the rest of her life and now Abigail is willing to give her gift away. Abigail is sorry this hurts her but she's doing this for Chad as she's not going to do that to him. Abigail has hurt Chad enough so it's done today. Gabi questions Abigail hurting a defenseless child. Abigail responds that it's not Gabi's choice but hers.

Stefan questions Ted stopping him from doing anything. Ted brings up the DiMera board not standing for him threatening Kate. Stefan argues that the board cares about the company's bottom line so if Kate is a threat to DiMera, they will back anything he does. Ted tells Stefan this ends now. Stefan asks if he's going to sue him or call the police. Ted says whatever it takes. Stefan brings up Leo's lawsuit exposing Kate and Ted so he can say anything he wants then they'll both end up in prison.

Kate questions what Will was talking about a body on the phone. Will claims it's for a story he's researching for the Spectator. Kate says she's always been able to read him and she's reading that he's not being honest with her so she asks what's really going on.

Valerie hugs Lani and encourages that she has so much life ahead of her and she will be a mom again. Valerie apologizes if that's not helpful. Valerie tells her that she, Abe, and Eli will be right by her side.

Abe thanks Eli for making the arrangements. Valerie comes out and tells them that Lani is ready. Abe asks for a moment alone with Lani before they go so he heads inside as Eli hugs Valerie. Abe tells Lani how much he loves her and how proud he is of her. Lani questions why he's proud. Abe says there are many reasons but right now it's because she's so committed to being a mother even though she hadn't planned for it. Abe says now she knows she has so much love to give a child. Lani cries that she doesn't know what to do with all the love for her baby as Abe hugs her.

Ted doesn't see how Stefan could send he or Kate to prison. Stefan brings up the pictures of Leo, Ted, and Kate in her hotel room. Stefan brings up Leo not showing up to court and questions where he is. Stefan asks why Ted is here irritating him instead of looking for Leo unless he knows where he is. Ted responds that he has no idea. Stefan warns that people might think Ted and Kate made Leo disappear. Ted tells Stefan that this ends now as he needs to stop torturing Kate. Stefan mocks Ted's involvement with his client unless Kate is more than a client.

Will tells Kate that it's just work pressure. Kate thinks he's upset about something that isn't work and she hopes he knows that he can tell her anything. Will has a flasback of Kate telling him in the past that she hoped he knew he could tell her anything. Will tells Kate about it and remembers it being when Kate was encouraging him to come out of the closet when he wasn't ready. Kate is happy for Will and asks if he had any other memories. Will tells her that he's had a few others about Sonny.

Sonny finishes his call with Justin and tells Chad that the judge dismissed the case. Chad hugs him and says that's great for him and Titan. Sonny hopes Chad knows there was never any merit to this case and that Leo was a liar. Chad says everyone knew that and Leo took advantage of him. Chad is just glad it's over but questions why Sonny is not more excited.

Gabi warns Abigail that there is no going back. Abigail says they both have strong beliefs but she believes in telling the people you love the truth. Abigail states that Chad comes first just like he has always done for her so she's not going to lie to him for the rest of his life. Abigail argues that she can't ask Chad to raise the child of a man he hates. Gabi questions if she knows how lucky she is to be able to have a child like it's no big deal. Abigail is sorry that this is painful for her. Abigail says their friendship is important to her and talks about Gabi sticking by her and forgiving her. Abigail declares she has made a decision so she needs to get to the clinic now. Gabi stops her and says she's not letting her do this.

Valerie, Eli, and Abe join Lani in her hospital room. Lani tells Eli about Valerie bringing his baby blanket for their son David's burial as they all exit together.

Will tells Kate that he remembered telling Sonny that he loved him and him saying the same. Kate calls that a pretty big deal and asks about those feelings. Will says he only felt them as a memory. Kate asks if he told Paul. Will confirms that he was honest about remembering loving Sonny in the past but now Paul is the man he loves so everything is cool. Kate asks if he's sure. Will says that he is and that he talked to Sonny about it too so it doesn't change anything as he still loves Paul. Kate says that would be good as long as he's clear.

Sonny tells Chad that he is excited since they can now move on. Chad guesses he's disappointed to not be publicly exonerated. Sonny agrees, thinking now everyone will always wonder. Chad says not the people that know him and now Titan will be clear to take off. Chad declares he can finally go hard with expansions and acqusitions. Sonny questions him, warning that expanding is risky against what he's worked on. Chad talks about cutting costs. Sonny worries about depleting the cash. Chad wants to maximize profits. Sonny asks if it's the same shipping company that DiMera is negotiating with. Chad says with Titan's financials, DiMera won't stand a chance. Sonny says the timing isn't great but Chad feels the timing couldn't be better. Sonny feels that Chad is weaponizing Titan to take down Stefan.

Ted tells Stefan that his relationship with Kate is none of his business. Stefan mocks him and says Kate obviously means something to him. Ted says that's beside the point. Stefan responds that the only point that matters to him is Kate murdering his mother in cold blood. Stefan tells Ted that Kate will pay and she will pay by keeping Chad close while giving him inside information to destroy him. Stefan advises Ted to advise Kate to do as he says because if she doesn't, he will bring down Kate, Ted, and anyone else who gets in his way. Ted tells him this isn't over but Stefan says it is and tells him to get out of his sight.

Gabi tells Abigail that an abortion is not the answer. Gabi argues that the baby will be hers and not Stefan's. Gabi begs her to cancel the appointment and take time to think about it. Abigail argues that she can't with how far along she is. Gabi points out that she's pregnant and Chad wants a baby so she will change the results and nobody will know. Abigail refuses and says she's made up her mind as she storms out. Gabi declares maybe she can't change her mind, but she knows someone who will.

Kate asks Will more about his memories just coming back. Will admits that he took a second dose of the serum. Kate questions how he managed that. Will thinks it would be better if she didn't know that. Kate assures that she won't judge since she loves him and creative thinking isn't bad as long as he doesn't get hurt. Kate goes back to the original question asking what he said about a body. Will insists he's just working on a story so he can't comment on it right now. Will then decides he has to go and rushes off.

Chad tells Sonny that he wants to take Stefan down but he does care about Titan as he has a vision. Sonny questions buying a shipping company they don't need. Chad calls it expansion while Sonny calls it going to war with DiMera. Chad thinks Titan needs to make bold moves to let people know they are back on top. Sonny insists they don't need the shipping company as they are financially stable. Chad respects what he's saying but reminds him he's not in charge anymore. Sonny responds that maybe he should be.

Gabi goes to the DiMera Mansion and tells Stefan that she just came so he can sign Gabi Chic papers. Stefan hoped she came to reconsider his offer to find her a specialist. Gabi says they are strictly business and she will document every transaction they make. Gabi then hands Stefan the envelope with Abigail's pregnancy test instead of the Gabi Chic papers. She tells him those are the wrong papers and tries to stop him while Stefan questions what this is and reads it. Stefan reads that Abigail is pregnant.

Abigail goes to the hospital and tells a nurse that she has an appointment for a procedure.

Valerie, Abe, Eli, and Lani lay flowers at the Horton Memorial plaque in the town square for baby David. Abe hugs Lani as she cries and invites her to come back to his place but Lani wants some time alone which Abe understands. Eli offers to take Lani home which she accepts. Valerie tells them to take care as Eli and Lani walk away.

Will returns home to his room where he finds an envelope at the door.

Ted goes to Kate's room and tells her that with Leo not showing, the case has been dismissed. Kate calls that great but questions why Ted is not happier. Ted informs her of his run in with Stefan. Kate didn't think he knew Stefan. Ted explains that he went to introduce himself at the mansion to tell Stefan to back off and stop blackmailing her. Kate notes that she didn't ask him to. Ted says after seeing what he was putting her through, he had to do something. Kate thanks him with a kiss and says it's been a long time since a man took her side in a fight. Ted feels he failed miserably. Kate says Stefan is a beast that doesn't like to lose. Ted and Kate kiss.

Gabi tells Stefan to give her the papers back. Stefan yells at her to stop and reads that he is the father. Stefan questions Gabi and argues that he and "Gabby" were in love. Stefan states that the baby belongs to "Gabby". Gabi tells him it's all Abigail and informs him that she is having an abortion. Stefan demands she tell him where Abigail is or else he will destroy Gabi Chic. Stefan points out that Gabi has nothing else since Arianna isn't speaking to her and she can't have any more children. Gabi then agrees to tell him where Abigail is.

The nurse goes to get Abigail's paper work.

Eli brings Lani home and asks if he can get her anything. Lani feels he's already done too much. Lani tells him that David's funeral was really beautiful. Lani thanks him for bringing her home. Eli gets emotional about the baby and tells Lani that he's sorry. Lani tells him not to be sorry as he has been there for her so she wants to be there for him as they hug.

Will opens the envelope and it's a letter that says "I Know What You and Sonny Did"

Sonny tells Chad that the case has been dismissed so technically he can be reinstated as CEO. Chad questions if he's sure that's the best thing for public perception since the case was dismissed but he wasn't publicly exonerated. Chad adds that one could assume Sonny made Leo disappear to get the case dismissed which isn't a good look and Victor wouldn't appreciate it. Sonny declares that the public can think whatever they want as his priority has always been what's best for Titan while Chad's agenda could dismantle the gains he made. Chad responds that there is only one way to settle it.

Kate encourages Ted that he may think he failed with Stefan but now he knows she's not alone. Ted worries that Stefan will still come at her. Kate responds that they'll be ready and thanks him as they kiss onto the bed.

Gabi goes to Doug's Place and has a drink, talking to herself about playing Stefan like she did. Gabi declares that she's going to bring Stefan down and Abigail too.

Stefan shows up at the clinic looking for Abigail and then finds her.
