Jennifer goes to see Eric at the Pub before he closes up. Jennifer tells him that she went out of town for a great quote for a story in tomorrow's paper but her phone died without her charger so she couldn't call anybody. Eric lets her use his charger and then they kiss.

At the hospital, Kayla asks Steve about running into Abigail. Steve says she was on the phone and sounded upset, saying something about not wanting to lose the man she loves. Steve tells her that she claimed to have had an argument with Chad about him not believing her and then she said that Chad should stop blaming Stefan for everything because what Chad did was much worse. Steve says they know now that Chad nearly beat Stefan half to death. Steve worries that if he knew Abigail was in trouble, he could've done something and shouldn't have let her get away. Kayla assures him that there was no way of knowing so he shouldn't blame himself.

Ciara apologizes to Tripp for going off on him for voting for Claire, getting so angry, and trying to make him jealous with Wyatt. Ciara notes that after all of that, he's still here for her. Tripp says that won't change no matter what she decides to do with this contest. Ciara hopes he means that because there is no way that she's letting Claire get away with this when she was so self-righteous about what Rafe did to Hope, saying the truth had to come out no matter who got hurt. Ciara declares now that the truth is about Claire, why should it be any different.

Wyatt goes to the loft. Claire questions what he's doing here when nobody is supposed to see them together. Wyatt tells her that he's looking for Ciara but Claire says she isn't there. Wyatt mentions he lost his cell phone so he hoped Ciara had it. Claire then begins to panic as she receives another text from Wyatt's phone from Ciara, saying she knows what she did and calling her a cheating bitch. Claire informs him that Ciara does have his phone and it's really bad because she knows exactly what they did.

Ciara knows how much Tripp hates she and Claire fighting all the time but she hopes he's okay with the text she sent. Tripp is not okay with any of it and hates this whole contest because it's caused problems between them. Tripp adds that he doesn't care who is the new face of Bella Magazine because once this comes out, Ciara will be the winner and that might make her not be her anymore.

Outside Doug's Place, Miguel is on the phone, explaining that he had Julie deliver the drinks to Chloe and Lucas. Miguel assures that it remained anonymous. Miguel says he will go get a coffee and come back, so by then Lucas should begin feeling the drugs he put in his club soda.

Chloe proposes a toast to new beginnings so they toast and take their drinks. Chloe, Lucas, Eve, and Brady then all take a selfie together. Brady mentions having a lot to make up for so he and Eve have somewhere to be. Chloe tells Brady that the bill is on the house. Brady knows it was hard for her to turn down her music offer but he's glad she is sticking around. Chloe declares that she's a Salem girl and always will be.

Brady takes Eve outside and says he has a serious question to ask. Brady asks her where she would rather go, Tahiti or Paris because his jet is fueled up and ready to go. Brady says she will have her own suite where ever they go. Eve calls it crazy since they just launched their campaign. Brady insists they will be fine for a couple of days. Eve asks about Tate. Brady says Maggie already has it taken care of. Brady calls it fate because they were meant to be together. Brady guesses she will need a little more convincing so he pulls out his ring. Brady tells her to just look at it as he's not going to force it on her since it's too soon. Brady says he won't back off and will keep the ring on him at all times, hoping that she will ask him to put it back on her finger. Eve then kisses Brady and decides on going to Paris.

Claire complains that this cannot be happening. Wyatt asks what happened. Claire explains that Ciara used his phone to text her and she can't believe she fell for it. Wyatt tells her to calm down since his phone is password protected. Claire tells him that he will have to change it. Wyatt admits it was his birthday. Claire calls him a moron for thinking Ciara wouldn't figure that out. Claire shows him the text and says Ciara knows everything so now they are screwed.

Ciara tells Tripp that she can't just let this go or Claire will keep doing things like this to her. Tripp reminds her that she entered the contest, thinking she wasn't as confident as Claire but he thinks Claire is the insecure one. Tripp encourages that Claire is just constantly trying to get attention or approval. Tripp thinks Claire is in a really bad place right now which is the only reason he voted for her as he thought Ciara had it all wrapped up. Ciara agrees to think about what he said later but right now she's going to have it out with Claire because she can't just cheat her way to happiness. Ciara asks if Tripp will go with her. Brady and Eve then walk up. Eve tells Ciara that she's sorry she didn't win but they would love to have her model for them. Ciara responds that she didn't lose. Ciara reveals that Claire cheated to get more votes than her. Eve says that can't be true. Brady says it must be a misunderstanding but Tripp says that Ciara is right. Eve questions how. Ciara informs them that she got texts admitting she did it and she didn't do it alone as she had help. Ciara says that she's going back to the apartment but Claire is not getting away with this. Ciara and Tripp walk away. Eve questions how Claire would do that and what Ciara meant by she didn't work alone. Eve asks if Brady helped Claire staged her comeback victory.

Kayla insists to Steve that it's not his fault. Steve says there was definitely something off about Abigail with the way she talked about Chad and ran off. Kayla says they need to alert police about this and make an official statement since there is an APB out on her so they have no choice.

Jennifer goes over her notes with Eric. Eric checks her phone but it's not charged yet. Jennifer notes that as much as they need their phones, it was kind of nice to be unreachable so they can focus on now without distractions. Eric decides to make himself unavailable too and shuts off his phone because he likes what is happening right here and now. Jennifer agrees and they kiss.

Chloe tells Lucas that Eve and Brady looked really happy. Chloe is amazed since Eve was so hurt. Lucas acknowledges that Brady seems crazy about her. Chloe knows Brady has a lot of making up to do. Lucas starts feeling hot all of a sudden. Chloe asks if he's coming down with something. Chloe goes to get him a glass of water.

Claire tells Wyatt that there has to be some way she can convince Ciara that she wasn't talking about the contest. Wyatt questions her telling Ciara that he was in on it. Claire reminds him that she thought she was texting him and asks how she can get out of this. Wyatt responds that neither of them can get out of it and he only agreed to do it for another chance with Ciara but that's all over now. Claire tells him that he's just as bad as Tripp. Claire decides she can't be here when Ciara gets home. Claire opens the door to leave just as Ciara and Tripp arrive.

Jennifer tells Eric that she's been proud of herself lately for doing life on her own but when Eric came back into her life, she realized that she really loves being in love. Jennifer states that her life is so much better because Eric is in it. Eric feels the same and thinks they will get it right this time.

Ciara questions Claire doing anything to get what she wants. Ciara is sick of Claire being all about herself and not caring if she has to lie or cheat. Claire calls it unfair. Ciara brings up Claire stealing her letter to Theo and being unable to handle her winning the contest. Ciara questions Claire getting Wyatt to help her fix the results. Wyatt tries to explain but Ciara questions why he helped Claire beat her. Wyatt thought he could get her back by her losing by one vote to cause problems between her and Tripp. Tripp questions how that's working out for her. Wyatt admits it was all Claire's idea.

Brady questions Eve believing he helped Claire win the contest. Eve brings up that being why he took the bet. Brady tries to explain but Eve doesn't want to hear it. Brady insists it's not what happened. Eve questions believing him now. Eve can't believe she gave him a second chance. Eve is glad she found out in time that Brady is never to be trusted.

Claire gets why Ciara is mad. Tripp tells her that she has no defense. Claire argues that she didn't lie. Claire states that Theo didn't help her get the votes. Tripp points out that she didn't mention Wyatt helping her and even tried to make Ciara lose by one vote because she knew he voted for her. Tripp argues that Claire played him like everyone else and she wanted Ciara to be mad at him. Claire complains that Ciara only entered the contest to get back at her. Ciara tells Claire that it was a contest and she won fair and square but Claire stole that from her. Claire asks what she's going to do to her. Ciara reveals she already told Brady and Eve everything except who her helper was.

Brady swears to Eve that he did not lift a finger to help Claire win the contest. Eve calls him a liar. Eve reminds him that she asked Brady if he rigged the contest then he turned it around on her and asked her. Brady brings up how angry Ciara was and that she would've said it was him if it was. Brady insists he was no part of it. Brady tells Eve that he only suggested she use her social media followers. Eve argues that Brady planted the seeds for her. Brady repeats that he didn't do it. Brady asks her to believe him.

Chloe returns to Lucas and blames Julie turning off the air condition for Lucas getting hot. Lucas tells her that he feels much better. Chloe worried that something might have been wrong with him.

Brady tells Eve that she's blowing this out of proportion. Eve argues that she is seeing things clearly. Eve says she will never make the mistake of trusting him again. Brady stops her and admits he thought about cheating for a second but he didn't because he loves her and knew she would hate it. Brady repeats that he didn't do it and starts to get dizzy so Eve questions what is wrong with him.

Ciara says she didn't want to explain to Brady and Eve what Claire did or how she did it but she'll have time for that tomorrow and she never wants to see Wyatt ever again. Wyatt points out that he only helped Claire for another chance with Ciara. Tripp questions him thinking that would work. Wyatt says they had a really good time today. Ciara says that was before she knew what he did and he knew it would hurt her so he's only sorry he got caught. Tripp tells Wyatt to just get out. Wyatt asks for his phone back so Ciara gives it to him and tells him to get a stronger password. Wyatt then exits. Claire argues that they can't throw her out since her name is on the lease. Claire suggests she will step down as the new face of Bella. Ciara questions Claire stepping down before she gets fired so it will look like she only got it because she didn't want it. Ciara says it won't be that easy.

Miguel is on the phone in the town square and says he's on his way back to the club as Lucas should be feeling the effects of the drug now. Miguel says with any luck, Chloe will realize she gave up her big break and hangs up.

Eve realizes Brady is drunk and guesses he lied about being sober. Brady insists he was drinking club sodas only with Lucas. Miguel sees them, realizing that Brady drank the club soda drugged for Lucas, and walks away. Eve calls Brady a lying cheating drunk.

Claire tells Ciara and Tripp that she deserves every bad thing they said about her and she doesn't know what got into her. Claire says she convinced herself that she deserved to win because it's all she has. Claire cries that Theo and her parents are on the other side of the world and admits she got jealous seeing Ciara and Tripp get closer but it's no excuse. Tripp points out that nobody has it all. Claire guesses they both hate her now and she doesn't blame them. Claire swears to never do anything like this again then rushes off into her room.

Lucas and Chloe dance together at Doug's Place. Chloe jokes that he never used to be the type to dance in an empty restaurant. Lucas talks about how lucky he is to have her back in his life. Chloe asks why he never reached out to her while they were apart. Lucas thought she would reject him. Chloe wishes he would have called because she thought a lot about him too. Lucas is determined not to blow it this time. Lucas knows she gave up a lot to stay in Salem so he appreciates that. Chloe says raising Parker in the town she grew up in and running a business is what she chose and she would never regret it. Chloe thought she had given up on love but now she thinks maybe she was wrong. Lucas wants his life's mission to be to prove her wrong as they kiss.

Brady tries to tell Eve that he's not drunk. Eve says he must have poured something into his drink. Eve tells him that she won't be the one to put him in bed as she wants nothing to do with him ever again.

Eric tells Jennifer they can go back to his place. Jennifer says that sounds like a perfect way to end a day where everything went wrong. Jennifer then hears her phone go off and goes to check it. She sees messages from Hope then gets a call from Kayla, who says she's been trying to reach her and she's sorry to tell her but there is an APB out on Abigail. Jennifer questions what she has done.

Ciara tells Tripp that she was a complete jerk to him for going off on him. Tripp tells her that now she is the new face of Bella. Ciara admits she wanted to make him jealous with Wyatt but she doesn't want to play games like that anymore. Ciara jokes that she was acting like Claire. Ciara asks if Tripp forgives her. Tripp says he already has and wants to go back to how they were. Tripp then kisses Ciara.

Lucas and Chloe kiss. Lucas suggests they go back to his place or her place. Chloe says she has to get home to Parker. Chloe likes how they are taking their time. Chloe knows he shouldn't get into a serious relationship until a year after a relapse which Lucas laughs at. Chloe says she and Eve talked about relationships moving too quickly these days. Lucas questions if he has to court her and decides he can do that. Lucas guesses he'll go home alone to write down the romantic things they will do one day. Chloe says she'll see him tomorrow as Lucas exits the club. Chloe locks the door behind him, then Miguel appears inside. Chloe asks what he's doing here. Miguel says he's sorry as he hoped they could do this the easy way.

Brady insists to Eve that he's not drunk but he feels strange. Brady asks why he would get drunk when he hates that. Eve tells Brady that he is a sad excuse for a man and he can drink himself to death for all she cares. Eve walks away as Brady then collapses.
