Chad wakes Abigail up in bed with Thomas. Chad notes that she was tossing and turning all night so he asks if she had bad dreams. Abigail remembers seeing Chad's tablet with a picture of he and Gabi then says it was something like that. They joke about romantic comedies as Chad talks about Sleepless in Seattle. Chad thought they watched it recently but Abigail says she hasn't. Abigail loves to still learn new things about Chad.

Eduardo joins Dario at the club. They talk about a new operation to make money. Dario mentions that Myron doubled his fee. Dario informs Eduardo that after losing the Orwell, they lost a lot of their money. Eduardo has an idea to generate a lot of cash and goes to make a phone call.

Deimos calls Brady, leaving a message that he knows he took off with Nicole and he has people all over the world looking for her. Deimos warns that if Brady gets in his way, he won't think twice even if he's family. Sonny interrupts and suggests Deimos gives up on Nicole since she doesn't want to be with him and her running away was probably the first clue. Sonny then sees the bruises on Deimos' face and jokes that he'd like to buy whoever did it a drink. Deimos wants to have a talk about Sonny's lack of loyalty.

Rafe and Hope are on the docks trying to listen in on the bugging device in the Kiriakis Mansion. Rafe says he heard Sonny come in but they lost connection. Hope wonders what could be causing it. Rafe thinks bugging the mansion was a bad idea but Hope argues that what they hear could save someone's life. Rafe responds that he's trying to save her life. Rafe repeats that they shouldn't be doing this but Hope feels she can't stop listening now. Rafe points out that Hope planted the device illegally so they couldn't even use anything. Rafe reminds her that Raines wanted her to stay at the desk. Hope insists that she can't do that because she's a cop. They talk about wanting to catch Deimos. Rafe asks what if Raines finds out. Hope argues that it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. Hope complains about losing connection and says they need to stop Deimos.

Sonny wants to take a picture of Deimos with his bruises. Deimos questions him thinking this is some kind of joke. Deimos reminds him that they are in a war and he needs to pick sides. Sonny refuses to let him run the family in to the ground. Deimos calls him naive. Deimos argues that if not for Victor, Sonny would be gone by now. Sonny asks who had Deimos beat up. Deimos says it could be any of his enemies but the threats that cut the deepest are from the traitors in his own family like Sonny and Brady. Sonny calls him paranoid but Deimos disagrees. Deimos says his enemies have taken businesses and money from him. Deimos promises there will be consequences for all of them. Sonny asks what kind of consequences. Deimos declares that he will take out his enemies one at a time and will start with Sonny.

Kate goes to the DiMera Mansion to ask Chad about the antiquities business. Chad says he and Abigail are about to take Thomas to the zoo but he has a few minutes. Chad looks over the work and asks if the profits are accurate. Kate calls it impressive. Abigail comes in and asks if she's interrupting. Chad calls her over to look. Kate thinks Abigail won't be interested but Abigail wants to know everything about Chad's business. Kate explains how this business they got from Deimos has become one of their most profitable. Chad wants to get the antiques back to the original buyers but Kate thinks he should rethink that. Chad asks Kate about a fight on the docks. Kate says it's all taken care of but Abigail questions it. Kate tells Abigail this is a dangerous business and people get hurt. Abigail feels that is something Deimos would say and she thought they were better than that.

Rafe and Hope walk out of the town square. Hope worries that they could lose this case to Eli and the FBI. Rafe doesn't think that'd be the worst thing. Hope questions Rafe shying away from a dangerous case. Rafe brings up almost losing her. Hope feels there is always a risk. Rafe thinks Hope is going looking for trouble and worries that she'll be out of a job if Raines finds out. Hope wants to be prepared to fight against Deimos. Rafe is not prepared to lose her. Rafe tells her there are other ways to get information aside from the illegal bug in the house.

Sonny asks Deimos what he's going to do. Deimos says it's obvious that he can't trust him anywhere near Titan business but Victor won't let him go so he will reassign him. Deimos informs Sonny that he's the new head of Basic Black. Sonny argues that he doesn't know anything about the fashion industry and isn't qualified to work there. Deimos mocks him. Sonny asks if he's trying to insult him by putting his gay nephew in charge of the fashion business. Sonny gets a text from Rafe, asking him to come to the station. Deimos tells Sonny that he has an hour to get his things out of Titan's offices while he will be waiting to see what he comes up for Basic Black's summer collection. Deimos exits and Sonny texts Rafe back that he will be right there.

Kate tells Chad it was a mistake to leave Abigail in the room since she doesn't understand the nature of their business. Chad asks for a moment alone with Abigail. Kate tells Chad to look at the numbers and ask if they are doing anything wrong as she exits. Abigail questions Chad making DiMera legit. Chad calls it a process and says they can't fight Deimos unless they are strong. Chad says he wants to be clean but until Deimos is out of the picture, he will do whatever to keep his family safe as he hugs her. Abigail tells him that she has to run errands before they go to the zoo so she will meet him there. Abigail exits as Kate comes back in. Kate questions Chad if they are now running every business decision by Abigail. Chad says Abigail is part of the company. Kate thinks Gabi would totally understand. Chad tells her that Gabi isn't his wife, Abigail is and she needs to respect that. Kate argues that she has been respectful but she sees Chad like a son and will say something if she thinks he's doing something wrong. Abigail comes back in and tells Kate to shut the hell up and stay out of their lives.

Eduardo returns to the club and tells Dario the call went very good so he feels their cash problems will be a thing of the past. Dario wants to know more but Eduardo wants to handle this on his own. Dario questions if he doesn't trust him but Eduardo says he does. Dario asks if what he's doing is safe. Eduardo tells him he's always taking risks and they need this so he got it. Eduardo tells him not to worry as it will be a brand new day for the Hernandez family. Eduardo then exits the club.

Sonny joins Rafe and Hope at the police station. Rafe asks if there's any chance Deimos followed him. Sonny tells him that Paul gave him tips on how to avoid being followed. Hope adds that they don't want Deimos to know Sonny is working with them. Sonny points out that Deimos already thinks he's disloyal. Rafe asks if he's threatened him. Sonny says he has but only put him on the bench at Titan. Sonny feels Victor is the only reason Deimos hasn't tried to kill him yet. Hope asks if he has any idea what Deimos could be planning. Sonny says all he knows is that Deimos is paranoid after losing Nicole and two big money making deals. Rafe guesses Deimos needs cash. Hope feels he will be taking some chances. Sonny says he will continue sniffing around. Rafe advises him not to do anything dangerous but Sonny says it's too late for that and he just wants to get him. Sonny exits. Hope tells Rafe that to find out what Deimos is planning, they need to hear it themselves. Rafe questions Hope putting her job on the line for this as she exits the room.

Abigail asks Kate how many times she has to hear her badmouth her in her own house. Kate claims she has only been respectful to her. Abigail says she has been to her face but the second she turns around, she tells Chad to leave her for Gabi. Kate says she is just expressing her feelings. Abigail swears that if she hears her badmouthing her to Chad again, Kate will be out of her house. Abigail says Kate is a guest in her house because Chad chose to be gracious. Kate asks if Chad is alright with Abigail talking to her like this. Abigail stops her and says it's between them. Abigail warns that Kate will learn what it's like to be on her bad side. Abigail tells Chad that she will see him later and goes to get Thomas. Chad looks on approvingly so Kate asks if he has something to say. Chad states that Abigail said everything.

Kate finds Eduardo in the town square and asks where Chloe is. Eduardo tells her that he treated her to a spa day that she deserves. Eduardo talks about Chloe having a good heart. Kate tells him that she knows he's trying to bother her. Eduardo asks if he is. Kate says that he is because she and Chloe have bad history. Eduardo states that he likes Chloe but admits his main objective in life is to win Kate. Kate says that's not working. Eduardo brings up Kate flirting with a guy in the club right in front of the security camera so that he would see it. Kate claims not to know what he's talking about but Eduardo says it shows that she still cares. Kate calls this ridiculous. Eduardo says this game they are playing is ridiculous when all she has to do is say the word and they can stop. Eduardo tells her they could start tonight and it would be better than they imagined but Kate walks away. Kate stops and looks back as Eduardo walks on.

Abigail walks out of the town square with Thomas and runs in to Gabi. Abigail tells her they were going to the zoo. They agree that avoiding each other isn't working. Gabi says they are adults so it shouldn't be weird when they see each other. Abigail asks Gabi if her and Eli are a thing. Gabi says their date went well. Abigail comments that it seemed like she was having a good time. Gabi says they will see where it goes. Abigail says he seems like a great guy and could be a keeper. Gabi points out it's only been a date so it's not like she asked him to meet on the Empire State Building. Abigail asks her what made her say that so Gabi brings up seeing Sleepless in Seattle not long ago and how she loves that movie.

Deimos talks on the phone, saying they are moving forward with the plan. Rafe and Hope listen in from the docks through the bugging device. Deimos says he's ready to make a deal. Hope feels this could be it. Rafe says they don't know if it's illegal. Deimos states that Sonny is out of the picture so they are good to go. Hope asks Rafe if it sounds like a legal business transaction to him.

Abigail sits outside with Thomas and looks through her purse insisting that she brought wipes with her. Abigail then starts talking to herself about how she knows she brought the wipes just like she knew she didn't watch Sleepless in Seattle with Chad as he watched it with Gabi. Dario interrupts and says he knows he's supposed to be staying away from her but she sounded kind of upset. Abigail says Thomas just spilled his yogurt and she can't find the wipes. Dario asks if she's sure that's it. Abigail says it's stupid and nothing which Dario doubts. Abigail knows Chad to live his life while she was gone and that he spent time with Gabi but there's something about having it in her face all the time. Abigail tells Dario about Chad talking about a romantic movie and realizing he saw it with Gabi. Abigail is reminded that they have so much in common and decides she shouldn't even be talking about this. Dario admits he made things very complicated by telling her he loved her and he's sorry. Dario knows he made her feel uncomfortable and asks if they can reset to being friends. Dario gets that she doesn't feel the way that he does and that sucks but he can handle it. Dario would rather have her as a friend than not in his life at all. Abigail can't pretend that she doesn't know what he said. Dario thinks they can get past it since they were friends first. Dario suggests starting slow with business and brings up the funds from the fundraiser. Abigail mentions needing to get wipes and then meet Chad at the zoo. Dario decides he will walk with her and talk strictly business. Abigail says they can handle that as they walk off together.

Sonny goes to the DiMera Mansion and tells Chad that he had to do this face to face. Sonny shows Chad the photo he took of Deimos with bruises on his face and asks if he had anything to do with it.

Gabi meets with Kate in the town square and thanks her for meeting as she had no idea how complicated starting an image consulting business would be. Gabi doesn't know how Kate even had the time to help her with everything going on at DiMera. Kate says she always has spare time for people she cares about and she wants to see Gabi successful in business and love. Gabi wants to just focus on business today then they see Dario and Abigail walking through with Thomas. Abigail asks Dario how much money they will be donating to the school. Dario says everything will go to the school and the club doesn't need to keep any of it. Abigail calls him a very generous person. Kate tells Gabi to tell her that is as interesting as it looks.

Dario and Abigail walk back out of the town square. Abigail jokes that she will make sure the school knows just how generous he is. Dario thanks her for not running away from him today. Abigail admits it was less awkward than she thought it would be. Dario asks if they are friends then. Abigail calls it a step in the right direction. Dario tells her to have fun at the zoo and he will see her around as he walks away.

Kate tells Gabi that Dario and Abigail certainly seemed to be enjoying each other's company. Kate points out how Gabi was looking at them. Gabi says she was just surprised because she thought Abigail was avoiding him. Kate asks why she would avoid him. Gabi informs Kate that Dario told Abigail he loves her which shocks Kate, who calls it more intriguing every moment. Gabi states that in a perfect world, Dario and Abigail would fall in love while Chad is free to be with her. Kate tells Gabi that they can work on making her world a little more perfect. Gabi brings up Kate's world not being perfect since she's not with Eduardo. Kate says they aren't talking about her. Gabi doesn't want to talk about her either since Chad is with Abigail so she just has to accept that and move on. Kate suggests she stop feeling sorry for herself and make some changes because she can help her if she wants Chad back.

Chad jokes that Deimos has never looked better. Sonny warns that Deimos is going to retaliate. Chad feels Deimos needed to learn there would be consequences. Sonny thinks he got the message. Sonny points out that Deimos has a lot of enemies including in his own home. Sonny talks about Deimos being a cancer to his family since he got out of prison so it's time he gets rid of him once and for all. Chad asks what he can do to help.

Gabi asks why Kate is so anxious to help her get Chad away from Abigail. Kate thinks Gabi and Chad are perfect for each other and wants to see them happy. Gabi guesses Abigail doesn't like her around the house much. Kate asks if Gabi wants her help or not. Gabi appreciates her wanting to help but knows how she operates. Gabi feels that if Kate is meddling in other people's lives then she's trying to avoid what's going on in her own. Kate responds that her life as fine but Gabi disagrees because she knows Eduardo loves her and he doesn't go after something that isn't worth it. Gabi thanks Kate for helping her and says she will talk to her very soon. Kate tells her that the offer still stands and not to give up as she and Chad belong together. Gabi tells her not to give up either as she walks away. Kate gets up and turns around to see Eduardo coming back through. Eduardo doesn't want her to rip him again but Kate asks if they can talk. Eduardo would love to but says he's babysitting Arianna today. Kate tells him it's fine then but Eduardo asks to meet later at the club so he can buy her a drink. Kate agrees. Eduardo asks what she might want to talk about. Kate says earlier he said they could start dancing if he said the word so maybe she will. Kate then walks away.

Abigail remains outside with Thomas and talks about going to have a family day with Chad. Abigail declares they are family and nobody is going to come between them. Abigail then walks off with Thomas to go to the zoo.

Sonny tells Chad that Deimos is losing control and lashing out. Sonny knows he's dangerous so he's willing to go as far as he needs to in order to get rid of him. Chad says he is too and will do anything to protect Abigail and Thomas from Deimos. Sonny says it could get ugly. Chad feels it already is. Sonny tells Chad to go all the way and when Deimos is out of the picture, they can sit down to end the war between families. Chad agrees but no peace until Deimos is out of the picture. They toast their drinks to the deal.

Rafe comes back to Hope on the docks with food. They continue listening in on Deimos. Deimos answers a call and says he knows how difficult this is. Deimos asks if the robbery went well and says finally something went right. Deimos says he will see them at the 6th street alley in an hour. Hope tells Rafe they've got him.
