Justin and Brady talk at the hospital about Victor losing everything to Deimos. Theresa appears and watches them. Justin and Brady can't figure out how Deimos blackmailed Victor. Theresa interrupts to question if she heard them right. Justin says it's no wonder Victor had a heart attack. Theresa asks what happened. Brady says he doesn't know but he's going to find out.

Deimos calls Kate and says he needs to see her as he has a proposal to make. Kate invites him to join her in the town square so he says he will be there shortly and hangs up. Philip joins Kate and comments that she can be so stupid.

Nicole visits Maggie in the hospital and asks if she has started physical therapy yet. Maggie says no. Nicole offers to go with her. Maggie responds that she's never going to be back on her feet as the surgery didn't work and she's probably never going to walk again. Theresa enters and asks her not to say that as it can't be true.

JJ joins Chad at the Pub and says he just got some good news that Ben is going straight to a maximum security prison. JJ assures him that Ben is gone so Abigail doesn't have to look over her shoulder anymore and can start to heal. JJ declares that it's over. JJ thinks Abigail will need some professional help. Chad agrees and informs him that Marlena is at the house now talking to her.

Marlena sits with Abigail and brings up Abigail seeing a doctor about PTSD before Ben came back. Abigail talks about always seeing Ben in her mind. Marlena isn't surprised that she had PTSD after all she had been through. Abigail just wanted it to be over. Abigail explains how Chad stopped her from killing Ben by telling her that Thomas would grow up without a mother. Abigail reveals to Marlena how she had Ben tied up and lit him on fire as she wanted to see him burn to death. Abigail comments that Ben has all of them tricked if they think they can stop him. Abigail says putting him somewhere won't stop him but she had him tricked. Abigail goes over what she did to him again. Marlena asks why she didn't just call the police. Abigail argues that she couldn't trust anyone as no one else saw what was really going on. Abigail declares that Ben won't stop until he kills her so he has to die.

Maggie explains that Fynn ran some tests and she can't feel her legs. Nicole reminds her that it could take time. Maggie feels Fynn doesn't believe that. Theresa is sorry. Nicole argues that she just needs time and encourages everyone having a positive attitude. Nicole says everyone will continue trying to help her at the hospital. Theresa brings up advances in medical research. Maggie brings up worrying about Victor. Theresa says that he's getting stronger every day but Maggie is scared of what this news will do to him.

Kate tells Philip that he isn't in any position to call anyone stupid since returning to Salem. Philip says he heard her flirting on the phone with the man who destroyed Victor. Kate points out that Philip stabbed Victor in the back himself. Philip brings up how Deimos is responsible for what happened to Maggie. Kate argues that they don't know that. Philip asks if Deimos shared how he got his hands on Victor's estate. Kate says there isn't much talking when they are in bed. Philip argues that Victor is down but not out and he will deal with them when he's back. Kate says she can take care of herself. Philip encourages her to do the right and smart thing by helping him get everything back from Deimos.

Marlena tells Abigail that she won't always feel this way. Abigail argues that she will until Ben is dead. Chad comes home, thinking they would be done by now. Marlena tells him that they were just finishing up. Thomas wakes up crying. Abigail gets up to check on him. Chad tries to tell her he's taken care of but Abigail insists that he needs his mother so she exits the room. Marlena talks with Chad, admitting she's afraid the experience may have been too much for Abigail to handle. Marlena says she could have a psychotic break and could be a danger to herself and Thomas. Chad asks what to do. Marlena says they can try therapy and if that doesn't work, there is a clinic that specializes in PTSD. Chad questions if she's talking about putting his wife away as she listens in from outside the room. Marlena says everything in the house will remind her of Ben including herself and Chad. Marlena argues that Abigail needs to feel safe. Chad says she will as he just found out that Ben has been locked up. Marlena says that's great but doesn't believe that will change how she feels. Chad decides maybe she's right. Marlena exits to call the clinic. Abigail comes back in to Chad and tells her that Thomas already went back to sleep before she got there. Chad asks her to sit down to talk. Abigail asks if they can wait since talking to Marlena took a lot out of her. Abigail says they will talk later but she wants to take a nap. Chad asks if he can get her anything. Abigail mentions ordering a prescription if he can get it for her. Chad asks if she's sure she doesn't mind being alone. Abigail insists that she's fine unless he doesn't trust her to be alone. Chad says he does and will be right back. They kiss goodbye as Chad exits. Abigail then grabs her phone and makes a call saying she needs to see someone right away.

Kate tells Philip that Victor put him up to this and accuses him of letting Victor play him. Kate says he has a lot of nerve by threatening her. Philip says he's trying to get through to her. Philip thinks Deimos plans to bring Victor's entire family down and that Kate will be collateral damage. Kate mocks his concern and knows Philip just wants back in Victor's good graces. Philip says he's trying to right a few of his mistakes by helping his father and asking his mother for help. Philip declares that if she won't help him, he's not sure he has a mother anymore.

Maggie sends Theresa to get coffee. Nicole thinks Maggie just needed a break from her. Maggie admits Theresa isn't a soothing presence like Nicole is which she appreciates. Nicole wishes Daniel was here to see them. Maggie talks about feeling pressure from Theresa and Victor. Maggie cries that she's scared that it will be too much to go through again. Maggie brings up what a miracle it was to walk back then. Nicole continues to encourage her. Maggie asks Nicole to check in on Victor so she can tell her how he is.

Victor remains in his hospital bed. He says to himself that 30 years ago, Deimos took what was his and he paid him back then too. Victor again thinks back to his argument with Helena where she fell and busted her head on a rock, killing her.

Deimos stands in the Kiriakis Mansion, looking at his photo of Helena and then thinks back to the same past time where Victor accused him of murdering Helena. Deimos goes to exit as Justin arrives at the door.

Abigail meets JJ outside the town square and admits to him that she tried to kill Ben. JJ knew Chad wasn't telling him the whole story but tells her that she doesn't need to worry as no one needs to know. Abigail says she told Marlena and she thinks she's crazy and that she needs to be put away. JJ insists that they just want to see her get well. Abigail asks if he means that she's mentally ill. Abigail states that she's crazy just like their grandma was. JJ goes over what she's been through and thinks the best thing for her is to get away from this place. Abigail argues that it would be a lot easier if she just disappeared. JJ says that isn't what he means. Abigail talks about not knowing what's real. JJ wants to take her home but Abigail complains of feeling dizzy from the pills she took. Abigail says she needs to stay here for a second and asks JJ to get her a water so he walks away. Abigail then runs away in the opposite direction.

Kate mocks Philip threatening to not see her as his mother anymore. Kate talks about all the women Philip has been with and how she doesn't want to clean up his messes anymore. Kate says all of her children have disowned her at one point or another and they all came back. Philip thinks Deimos is going to hurt her just like he did to Victor and Maggie. Philip argues that deep down, she knows he's right.

Deimos tells Justin that it's not a good time. Justin says it won't take long. Justin tells him to give everything back to Victor or he will press charges for blackmail and he will back in prison. Deimos says everything was legal and binding. Deimos adds that Victor won't be pressing charges and tells him to get off his property before he calls the police. Justin exits.

Chad visits Jennifer and tells her about the institution idea. Jennifer understands Abigail needs help but argues against putting her away when she needs her family. Jennifer cries that she can't think about this. Chad argues about not letting what happened to her grandmother happen to her.

Abigail returns home to grab her bags and takes Thomas as she then sneaks out the back door.

Philip tells Kate that she has put herself right between Victor and Deimos. Philip points out that Victor has him, Brady, and Justin behind him so Deimos is going down and he doesn't want Kate hurt. Kate thinks Philip just wants to get back at Deimos. Philip says he does for what Deimos did to Victor and Maggie. Kate argues that Deimos may not have done anything to Victor and Maggie. Kate says it's not their concern as Deimos arrives. Philip says he was just leaving but Deimos asks him not to as he has an announcement to make that he will want to hear.

Justin and Brady sit together at the Pub. Brady asks if Justin tipped his hand by threatening to press charges. Justin says he learned that Deimos isn't worried about a legal challenge. Brady mentions Fynn being worried after Victor's heart attack. Brady thinks Victor is hiding something since he isn't screaming for revenge immediately. Brady thinks he's up to something. Justin figures Victor wants Deimos to have a false sense of security. They compare it to Troy and suggest Victor is building himself a Trojan horse.

Nicole visits Victor in the hospital.

Chad tells Jennifer that putting Abigail away is a last resort as he knows she needs her family. Jennifer warns that he better be careful how he tells her this because ending up like her grandmother is her darkest fear. Jennifer adds that sending Abigail away to an institution could be what pushes her over the edge.

Ciara goes to the Kiriakis Mansion to babysit but then calls Chad to inform him that Abigail and Thomas are not there. Ciara says there is no sign of them and Thomas's carrier is gone. Chad says he will check it out and hangs up. Jennifer asks if something is wrong. Chad tells her it's fine but Jennifer notes that he's scared and decides she's going with him as they rush out.

Theresa returns to Maggie to play cards with her. Theresa suggests Maggie and Victor move in with her and Brady but Maggie tells her how Victor doesn't like to be a house guest. Theresa realizes that Maggie doesn't know. Maggie questions what exactly she isn't supposed to know.

Brady tells Justin that he's glad Victor wants to fight back but he's concerned he might not be a match for Deimos at this point. Brady questions Deimos getting away with this. Justin points out that Victor did tell them to stand down. Brady doesn't like the idea of Deimos getting away with it. Justin doesn't like Deimos acting like the head of the family. Brady doesn't like Deimos at all. They agree that Deimos needs his ass kicked and they shake hands.

Nicole tells Victor that she researched Helena and he was right that Deimos seems obsessed with her and him. Victor asks what Nicole is willing to do to pay Deimos back for what he's done.

Philip isn't sure what Deimos could announce that would affect him. Deimos offers Kate a job. Kate points out that she already has a job. Deimos proposes buying Basic Black and folding it in to Titan. Kate tells him that Basic Black isn't for sale. Deimos tries to convince her so that she can run Titan with him.

Chad searches the DiMera Mansion while Jennifer tries to call Abigail. JJ comes in with confirmation that Ben is locked up. Jennifer wonders why she would run. Chad realizes Abigail was getting rid of him and JJ realizes the same. JJ mentions that Abigail told him that she heard Chad and Marlena talking about the clinic. Chad says she must have come back to get Thomas and wonders where they would have gone.

Abigail brings Thomas to a hotel room. Abigail sets Thomas down and says that nobody will find her, nobody will lock her up, and nobody will take him from her.
