The Bold & The Beautiful Update Friday 12/27/19

Steffy tells Sally that this piece is very work grain like. She wants to combine both fabrics. Sally will get more options. Steffy thinks she is doing a good job. Sally just wishes she could tone down her instincts. Sally gets that classy beats in your face every time. Steffy asks if she has heard anything about Hope’s designs. Sally does feel bad that Hope has to work with Thomas but is also impressed with her.

Brooke hates that Hope is working with Thomas. Brooke doesn’t think that they will be able to detect Thomas’ real dark side.

Thomas asks Hope what is not working for her. He asks her to show him. Hope says that the neck line is a little bit low. She wants to raise it to the left side. She takes the pencil from her hand. She tells him that this is why she didn’t want to work with him again. Hope thinks if this is a reason for him touch her then they can call it quits now.

Sally admits she is eager to go up against Thomas. She is sure that Liam is not happy about them going up against each other though.

Brooke knows that Ridge cannot face the fact that Thomas is not a good person. Even if it means giving up their marriage. Liam thinks that Thomas goes through all their lives like a damn wrecking ball. Liam thinks that it is bad enough that they share company. He doesn’t trust Thomas for one second

Thomas wanted to create a mutual connection. Thomas thinks that this is how his father and grandfather taught him. It wasn’t a come on. Hope needs him to swear that he was not hoping for more between them.

Sally thinks that even nice guys snap. He must be over Thomas. Steffy thinks it is poor Hope but Beth is Liam’s daughter as well. No one seems to acknowledge that. Steffy looks in Liam’s eyes and she sees half her life. She knows that he will protect Hope in ways they cannot imagine. Brooke is not exactly overly optimistic about this. Brooke thinks that Thomas is going to make them see that he is changed. Brooke feels that Thomas is a master at being manipulative. Liam thinks that Zoe is deeply ashamed and he thinks that is key because she is the most motivated to prove that Thomas is bad.

Hope really wants to believe him. Thomas is never going to deny he has feelings for her but he is moving on with Zoe and he wants to see where this takes him. He is not obsessing over her any longer. Thomas asks Zoe to wait outside for him as they talk. Thomas made some plans with Zoe for the evening. He wanted them to be special. He was hoping that she would take Douglas for the night. He realizes that this is short notice but this wasn’t exactly planned. It was a bit spontaneous. Hope is always happy to watch Douglas. Hope explains that they do have an in progress board game going on so they might get to finish it. Thomas would hate that he somehow made her second guess her decision to work with him. Hope tells him to go and have a good night. He doesn’t have to worry about Douglas. Thomas thanks her.

Liam thinks that Thomas wants them to believe that his fixation to Hope was only temporary but he doesn’t believe it. Liam wants to believe that people can change. He needs to be able to put him to the test. Brooke thinks if that is what he needs to see Thomas clearly then he needs to get his answer quickly because they both know how Thomas does things. Liam thinks they are on the same page with this.

Steffy asks Hope if she has a minute. She wonders how everything is going. Hope thinks it is going pretty well. Her brother’s sketches are working out pretty well. Steffy thought that Thomas would be sketching away. Hope says he went out with Zoe.

Zoe asks if they are going to hang out here. Thomas thought they would get a little privacy. He kisses her.

Hope explains that Zoe and Thomas are on a date. Steffy heard they were interested in one another. Hope was skeptical at first. Hope thinks that watching them together makes her think that there is a mutual attraction. It doesn’t bother her. She had her issues with Zoe but she does support a relationship because she thinks he is taking a big step towards Zoe because he did ask her to watch Douglas for the entire night tonight. Thomas is in a committed relationship then that might mean that he is moving on.

Zoe thinks she needs a minute to take all of this in. It wasn’t that long ago that she thought her entire life was off track. She lost everything that meant anything to her. She is having date night in a gorgeous mansion. She never dreamed of having something like this. Thomas screwed up big time. Thomas thinks that they kind did the opposite. Thomas explains that there is her as well. All of these are positive changes. Zoe explains she never predicted the two of them. Thomas thought she was beautiful and fascinating. There is some kind of a mystery about her that he wanted to figure out. She is such a knockout. Zoe never really felt that he noticed her before. Thomas knows she was with Xander and it was no kind of mystery. He was otherwise engaged. Zoe knows that he was in love with Hope and that was all he could talk about. She needs to know if this is really about her or if this is a distraction against Hope.

Hope wants Zoe and Thomas to work out. She wondered who would have thought that so much would ride on two people getting together. She could finally stop worrying about all of this if it works out.
