The Bold & The Beautiful Update Friday 8/9/19

Steffy asks if she really adopted Beth. Liam says yes. Steffy thinks that is Phoebe. Hope knows it is hard to take in but it is true.

Brooke thinks that Hope was in mourning and Thomas knew about this. Ridge will deal with him but they need to talk with Steffy. She is about to have a lot of pain coming her way and she doesn’t deserve it.

Eric explains that Sally went beyond what he asked her to do with this design. Which is exactly what she has done and he thinks it is fantastic. Eric thinks she really has been throwing herself into her work lately. Eric thinks she is a valuable asset to this company. Sally thanks him. She should go through break ups more often. Eric is sorry that her and Wyatt didn’t make it. Eric thinks that there are worse things than work. Sally did spend a lot of her paycheck at the bar the first few days but she thinks she is over it. Eric thinks that she has the right amount of flair. Sally should have him write her online dating profile. Eric thinks that some guy will observe her amazing qualities. Sally wishes it was Wyatt.

Brooke knows this will be difficult for Steffy. Flo wishes she could go back in time. Ridge thinks that this is all wrong. They were messing with people’s lives. Ridge knows this is what Brooke wants and he is trying to be happy for them but this isn’t fair to Steffy.

Beth keeps saying dada. Liam can do whatever genetic tests need to be done. The people involved have already admitted what happened. Steffy is shocked that Reese needed money. Hope guesses that he decided to sell a baby to make fast cash. Liam thinks that man took someone else’s child and put it in their arms and told them it was Beth. Steffy knows that he brought her to her and lied to her. Liam knows and they grieved her. She was thriving because she was here the whole time with her and Kelly. She was safe and loved and cared for.

Someone knocks on the design office doors. It is Wyatt he asks if she has a minute. Wyatt heard that she would be in here. Sally wonders what is going on. Wyatt explains that something happened. Sally wonders if it was something good or bad. Wyatt guesses a lot of good and bad.

Ridge will make them all pay for this. They are going to see their children. Shauna wonders if they are really going to keep their ID’s. Ridge plans to give them to the police.

Hope has Beth. She is back. Hope is never going to let her go again. Liam thinks it explains the near instant connection they both had to her. Hope thinks it is because she knew. She called her mama at the wedding. Hope loves her so much. She cannot wait to take her home. Steffy says she is not taking her home. That is Phoebe. She is the little girl she has been raising. She brought her into her family so that Kelly could have a little sister. She is not taking her daughter from the only home she has ever known.

Sally asks Wyatt what is wrong. Wyatt thinks it is a long story. People are just not what they seem sometimes. Sally asks if he means Flo. Sally wonders what she did.

Steffy doesn’t think that they can take Phoebe away from her. Her life is here with her sister and mom. She is her mommy. They need to figure this out. They need to do this reasonably. Hope explains that her daughter was taken from her. Steffy needs her to stay here. Hope is grateful for her but Beth needs to stay with her. Steffy thought that they were going to fight for their family. Hope thinks what is wrong is her being away from her family for months. Hope thinks her name is Beth. She needs to be with her. Hope is not trying to erase her. She would never do that ever. She can be as involved as she wants. She can help with the transition. Steffy is her mom. Hope points out that she is not the babysitter and she is not a surrogate. Steffy loves her and Kelly loves her. Liam reminds they are still sisters. Hope tells her again that her name is Beth. Steffy knows she is going through hell. She has to understand what she is asking of her. Hope is not asking. Steffy thought they were a family and now he is just walking away. Steffy begs him to say something and tell Hope she is wrong. He needs to tell her not to take her baby. Liam explains that Hope and him are Beth’s parents. They thought she was gone but this is amazing. Liam doesn’t want to do this to her. They can work something out. They can find a solution. Hope thinks so but it is time for her to be Beth again. Ridge and Brooke storm in. Ridge hugs Steffy. Brooke is happy that Hope has her daughter home. Steffy will not let her take her daughter home.

Sally wonders if Flo did something. Wyatt needs to say he is sorry. Sally asks why. Wyatt guesses the way they ended things. Sally thinks he had nothing to say sorry about. Wyatt was upset because she was keeping secrets. Sally knows it was a mistake. Wyatt doesn’t think that her mistake was really that bad. Wyatt knows a lot of crazy stuff is happening right now and he knows he is wrong. He is sorry. Sally is confused. She wonders what happened to the high school sweethearts reuniting. Sally asks if this is him crawling back to her. Wyatt just wanted her to know that he couldn’t think of anything more important than seeing her.

Liam is sure that they have questions. Brooke was just with Flo, Shauna, and Zoe. Brooke is happy that the truth came out. She is happy for Hope to have her little girl back and her family with Liam. Steffy is not letting them take home Phoebe. Steffy cannot let them take home the baby she adopted. She doesn’t know she was stolen. Brooke thinks that as Liam’s daughter she will see this house again. Brooke thinks that the baby was stolen. She cannot rip her away from the only family she knows. Brooke asks what she is suggesting. Steffy realizes that this is Beth. Hope gave birth to her. Her mind is starting to catch up with her. She just needs to listen to her. She can be a mother but she can keep her here. Ridge thinks that this has been a blow for all of them. Ridge thinks the baby is thriving here. Hope thinks that it is time for Beth to go home. None of them expected this but she has been given a second chance with her child. She is not going to walk out of here without her. She should have been with her since the day she has been born. She is grateful for the care she has been given. She will not let her daughter go. She is taking her daughter. She will not dare try to stop her.
