The Bold & The Beautiful Update Thursday 7/18/19

Thomas thinks that he should trim Douglas' hair a little more. He wants him looking his best for today.

Hope gets ready in Brooke's bedroom. She looks at a picture of Douglas and hugs it.

Liam helps Steffy with her zipper. Liam asks if Amelia is getting the girls wedding. Steffy is very aware of how he feels about this wedding today. Amelia tells them that the girls are in the car. Liam wants to get today over with.

Ridge walks into Thomas' bedroom. Thomas is happy, nervous, and excited for Hope to be his wife. Ridge thinks that Douglas is the happiest. Thomas wishes that Taylor could be here. Ridge thinks that working for a human rights campaign in Africa is a good excuse not to be here. Thomas feels like he could use more support today. Thomas wishes that he had more support from Brooke. He needs to talk with Brooke. Brooke needs to stop this.

Brooke walks into her bedroom. She asks why Hope isn't getting ready. Hope is. She is distracted thinking about things. Brooke thinks if she is having second thoughts she will take care of everything. She asks if she wants to call off the wedding.

Pam congratulates Thomas. She has a feeling that Stephanie is looking down on him right now with a big smile on her face. Quinn thinks it looks like a fair outside. Steffy walks in with Amelia, the girls, and Liam. Thomas thinks so much of what they are doing is for the girls. Amelia suggests that Thomas come with them for the girls. Steffy wonders where Hope is. Ridge says the bedroom. Steffy guesses she will go help. She wants them to pla nice. Donna and Katie show up. Quinn is shocked they came. Katie guesses their love for Hope means more than their reservations. Liam likes what Thomas did for the kids.

Steffy walks into Brooke's bedroom. Hope wants to create a loving family. Brooke thinksshe can change her mind and she hopes she does. They will continue this conversation before the ceremony. Steffy is obviously going to defend Thomas. However, she knows how Hope feels about Liam. Steffy wants to make sure that Hope is only marrying Thomas if she can support both of them. If she isn't interested in Thomas then maybe she needs to call off the wedding.

Brooke walks downstairs. Quinn guesses that they have a real wedding now that Carter is here. Donna asks how the bride is. Brooke says that they are upstairs. Ridge tells Brooke this is supposed to be a happy day. Ridge reminds Brooke that Thomas and Hope are getting married. Carter asks Liam if everything is ok. Liam is not. He asks who uses their son to manipulate a grieving woman. Pam asks Donna why she is primping at a family function. Katie wonders if Flo is coming. Quinn is sure that she is coming. Eric tells them all to calm down.

Hope thought that the future seemed limitless for her until it wasn't. This isn't just about Thomas. This is about Douglas who lost his mom. He wants a family again. Steffy is so happy for her. She wants to get her ready. Steffy thinks that Douglas hit the jackpot getting a mom like her. Hope thinks being able to be a mom to Douglas brings tears to her eyes. She wants to be a mother to Douglas.

Carter wonders where Hope is. Katie suggests that Brooke go and check on Hope. Quinn knows that Thomas is getting impatient. Ridge wants Thomas to not worry about anything. Steffy walks downstairs. She tells Brooke that Hope wants to see her. Steffy and Ridge walk outside. Liam thinks that Hope was tricked into getting married. Liam thinks that things might not work out the way he wants.

Brooke walks back in. She sees that she is still not dressed. Hope is getting there. Brooke remembers when she was marrying Liam and was bursting with joy. She doesn't see any of that today. She is not in love with the groom though. She is allowed to call things off. Hope knows that Douglas needs her. Brooke thinks that she is distant with Thomas. She never touches or kisses him. She might care about him. Carring for someone is different than loving someone. Hope doesn't think this is about Thomas or her. She needs to be a mother to Douglas. Brooke understands but her life will be fine. She will be making the biggest mistake of her life. She cannot marry Thomas.
