The Bold & The Beautiful Update Monday 4/22/19

Ridge asks Thomas if he has spoken with Hope about the designs. Thomas says that she is on board. Thomas set a meeting with the team. He wants to inspire them to be there for Hope and get her through this.

Hope walks into the cabin. She looks around and sees a meal set up. Liam walks in with a bottle of wine and says surprise. He says that this is just a bit of romance. He kisses her. Hope smiles and looks at him.

Brooke is impressed with Thomas for thinking about her needs. Ridge doesn’t think that his interest in her line is about Hope altogether. Brooke does think that Thomas and Hope make a good match as friends.

Thomas tells Emma, Tiffany, and Cyrus that they are having a meeting. Cyrus admits he was happy to be brought on but it has been slow. Thomas plans to change all that. Sally hears them talking from outside. Thomas doesn’t want them to get discouraged. This line is ready for a comeback. Sally walks in.

Liam wonders how soon she wants to eat. Hope thinks they could eat now. Hope thinks there is nothing that he isn’t already aware of. They can eat now if he wants. Liam knows they will grieve Beth the rest of their lives but it doesn’t have to define them. Liam begs Hope. This is important. Hope smiles.

Thomas asks Sally to join them. He has sketches. Sally wonders if Hope has seen them. Thomas confirms that she is excited. Sally guesses that she is coming back full-time. Thomas thinks they can give Hope a reason to wake up and be excited. Thomas tells Cyrus to get those to the work room. Sally thought that they needed Hope’s approval. Thomas thinks the time to strike is now.

Brooke wonders if Ridge is alright. Ridge is worried about Thomas. Brooke thinks he is excited about Hope’s line. Ridge is worried about that. Sally thinks that he just boosted moral a bit. Thomas thinks that getting back into HFTF will be nice. Sally thinks that Thomas is a good friend and she is lucky to have him in her life. He wants to talk with her about something. He knows they have history. Sally got over it. Thomas asks what she knows about Home and her marriage to Liam.

Liam hopes that Hope realizes that he just wants to spend time with her and share a meal. Hope is not ready to have sex. She just cannot risk it. It isn’t just not wanting to get pregnant again. She just feels guilty. Liam needs her to stop acting like she is being kept from her daughter’s. Hope thinks that Steffy took this trip because of Phoebe. She wanted to do what she thought was best. He asks when the last time he held his daughter was. Hope thinks that. He should be with his family.

Brooke wonders what happened with Caroline and Thomas. She wonders if it was another woman. She asks if it was Sally. Ridge can bet it wasn’t Sally.

Liam doesn’t think there is a need for him to be in Paris. Hope is an adult. She can take care of. Herself. Kelly and Phoebe need their dad. He needs to be the father that they never had.

Sally knows the same amount about the marriage as he does. Sally imagines it is difficult to lose a child. Thomas wants to know her take. Sally knows Hope took off her ring and told Liam to go back to Steffy. Sally thinks that Hope is not ready to get her marriage back. Sally is under. The impression they have not been together lately. Thomas admits that him and Hope used to be together. He has been spending time with her and Douglas lately. Douglas adores her. It started to make sense to him. Sally asks if he is falling for her. Thomas has always loved Hope. It doesn’t take away from anything. He is realizing that he is in love with her. She is the one woman that he never truly got over.

Brooke asks if he knows who he is interested in. Ridge thinks they should stay out of this. Brooke agrees. She wishes Stephanie could have done the same once upon a time.

Hope thinks this is all a constant reminder of her failure. She wonders what would have happened if she had stayed away. Liam wants her to think about this. He wonders how they move forward. He asks how she helps him forgive herself. Liam doesn’t think the right answer is her pushing her away. Hope wants to move on. She wants things to be the way they were. Her body is still in mourning and she isn’t sure she will ever be able to get over what happened. Liam thinks she should be able to let him in. Liam thinks that she has been throught his trauma that could rip them a part but he will not let them lose each other. He will never pressure her into doing something she doesn’t want to do. He needs his wife though and thinks she needs him too. Hope does.

Thomas knew that Liam wasn’t right for her. Douglas is so lucky to have Hope. He cannot ignore that. Douglas is a child without a mother and Hope is a mother without a child. Thomas thinks that Hope needs a child. He is talking about Liam. Years of trying to make it work with the wrong person. She needs to get out of this pain. Thomas is going to break up Hope and Liam and Hope will be with him.
