The Bold & The Beautiful Update Tuesday 1/29/19

Steffy tells Taylor that Amelia should be coming up the hill by now. Taylor will be staying with Kelly. Steffy thought she would come along. Taylor thinks that this is her day. Steffy thinks she could be bringing home Kelly’s new sister if everything goes right.

Hope tells Liam that she is canceling a doctor’s appointment with her OBGYN. She decides to keep it. Hope wonders what Liam was saying about adoption. Liam explains that Steffy is still serious about wanting a sister for Kelly. Hope thinks they tried. Liam says that Steffy thinks she tried one.

Reese loses at online poker again and wonders when he would learn. Flo tells Reese that the baby will be ready to go soon. Reese tells her not to hand over the baby until they money has cleared. Flo wants to know how much money he is getting from her. Reese tells Flo not to be crass in front of Steffy. She is not buying a baby and they are not selling one. Flo asks how much he is making from not selling her then.

Steffy hopes that Flo doesn’t change her mind. Taylor knows that Flo didn’t want to bond with the baby. She already knew that this was someone else’s child.

Hope wonders where the baby is. Liam says she is in LA right now. Hope guesses that Steffy did want a half-sister. Hope wants to believe that they would have been able to live together with Steffy in their lives. Liam says the baby is on her way.

Flo has some questions about the papers. Reese says she doesn’t have to worry about the papers. Liam says that her date of birth is just a few days before the actual birth. Reese thinks that on the unlikely event that anyone asks questions they won’t know the truth. Flo wonders what happens if Steffy finds out.

Steffy wants to tell Liam what is going on. She wanted him to know. Taylor thinks that Hope will get passed this in time.

Liam knows that Steffy knows that this is hard for them. Steffy is mourning Beth too. Steffy met with people for adoption even before Beth passed away. This child came to them very quickly and had to say yes or no right away. Liam is not sure how she got to the yes. Liam thinks that if Steffy had asked him and he sad no then she wouldn’t have done it. Hope sees that he didn’t. Liam asks if she would have wanted him to.

Steffy shows Carter information for the birth mother. Carter just needs documents saying this is all completed. Carter just doesn’t have the birth certificate. Taylor is handling the financial side of things. Taylor wishes Steffy good luck. She says goodbye to them.

Reese thinks that Flo is looking shaky. Flo is feeing that way too. Flo wonders how much trouble they are in. Reese thinks they are threatening his daughter. The other fifty thousand dollars is for Flo. Flo thinks that makes her involved. Reese thinks that has already sailed. He wishes her good luck. She will do great. No one will challenge this. Everyone gets what they want in this. Flo gets a nest egg for the future and Steffy gets a baby. Flo wonders what the real mother gets. Reese guesses a lifetime to forget the worst night of his life. He knows she will have healthy children one day.

Liam says that Taylor has contacts in that world. The baby is a newborn and is only a few months old. Hope assumes that Steffy fell in love with the child right away. Liam thinks the child is perfect. Hope wonders if she can see the photo. Liam actually met her in person. Hope didn’t realize. Liam has been debating when and how to tell her. Hope has been closed off lately. Liam thinks she had every right to be. Hope is listening now. Liam is not sure he knows how to talk about this. Hope wants to hear. Liam just wasn’t prepared for how this would feel to hold a new born so soon. Liam thinks that she is so tiny and trusting and beautiful. It was like there was a life to her. He thought of Beth. He cannot be bitter. Hope doesn’t think they are monsters. Hope asks if Steffy is happy. Hope asks if it works if she has a name. Liam says Phoebe. Hope thinks it is perfect. She is really happy for Steffy. What happened to her sister was awful. It feels like she is giving Steffy a second beginning with replacing death with life. This is a way to provide a new life. Liam loves Hope so much.

Steffy and Carter show up at Flo’s house. Carter wonders if he lawyer should be involved. He looks at paperwork. He sees all the important things. Carter suggests she look at everything before she signs. Carter states the father has no rights. They just need her signature. Steffy sees that Flo is upset. She keeps forgetting that it is a happy day for her and a sad day for her. Steffy is already in love with her. She thinks if she needs time or she changes her mind she respects her choice. Flo says no. She is ready. At least she thinks she is.
