Episode #12050 ~ Mariah prepares for her new journey. Bill Spencer visits Genoa City.

Provided By Suzanne

Abby: Chance and I got married at thanksgiving, and we didn't even make it to valentine's day.

Nina: Well, that's not true. You're still very much married and very much in love.

Abby: He left without actually saying goodbye.

Nina: Oh, abby.

Abby: Look, I know they needed him for a case and he's not the type to say no.

Nina: You read his letter.

Abby: And it was beautiful. And he loves me.

[ Exhales sharply ] But I need him here. And I know that may sound selfish, but why can't I be a little selfish?

Nina: No, it's not selfish at all. It's just not possible. But you know what is possible, is to move forward, like he asked. He wants you to have everything you deserve, and that includes having a family that you want.

Abby: Right. You are right. Baby's first christmas. That's happening in 2021, so we better keep on our schedule. Now...it is time to choose the other half of our baby's dna.

Mariah: Hi.

Devon: Hey. Looks like someone's having a good day.

Mariah: I have got some big news, and I am finally permitted to share it.

Devon: Well, what is the news?

Mariah: Guess who is gonna a baby.

Devon: Ahh. There's a lot of people who could have babies. I don't know.

Mariah: Okay, I will give you three choices. Abby, chance...

Devon: Mm-hmm.

Mariah: ...Or moi.

Devon: Is this a trick question?

[ Both laugh ]

Mariah: The answer is... all of the above.

Devon: What?

Mariah: Abby and chance want to start their family right now, and I'm gonna carry their child.

Lauren: So, we can structure the advertising to funnel jabot's customers to fenmore's and then vice-a versa, and it's a win-win situation. Kyle? Are you with me on this?

[ Chuckles ]

[ Knock on door ] Dollar bill spencer. As I live and breathe.

Bill: Lauren. As you live and breathe, indeed. Now, if memory serves -- and I'm sure it does -- when I last had the pleasure of being in your company, you were, um --

Lauren: Have you met our co-ceo of jabot, kyle abbott?

Bill: Co-ceo. My, my. Nice to meet you, kyle.

Kyle: Likewise.

Lauren: Now, I knew that you had a meeting with summer later, but I wasn't expecting you here, now.

Bill: Well, you know me, lauren -- always full of surprises. Isn't it comforting to know that some things never change? So, I thought I'd drop in on the big boss lady and get the lay of the land around here. Not overstepping, am I?

Lauren: Welcome to genoa city.

Faith: Can I go to my room now?

Sharon: No, you may not.

Faith: Look, I already know what you're gonna say -- "faith messed up again."

Nick: Sharon, just let me handle this, please.

Faith: Seriously, just let me go upstairs until you guys calm down.

Nick: You're not going anywhere. You're gonna sit there and deal with the fact that you were just kicked out of your school.

Kyle: This is such a crock. Even if tara does have a kid, there's no way it's mine. She and I were --

Sally: Careful? Yeah. Famous last words.

Jack: Kyle, have you seen lauren? Son? Oh, um...sorry. What were you saying?

Jack: I was asking if you'd seen lauren.

Kyle: She took bill spencer on a tour of the offices. They should be back pretty soon.

Jack: Okay. Never mind that. Now I'm more interested in what you were thinking when I walked in. Is something wrong?

Sally: They really do have the best coffee, don't they? I'm really glad you introduced me to it.

Summer: You can drop the act.

Sally: I have no clue what you're talking about. I really do like this coffee.

Summer: Kyle told me about your threat to expose his old affair in new york.

Sally: Oh. Is that all he told you?

Summer: [ Exhales sharply ] Repair your enamel with pronamel repair.

Faith: I was not kicked out of school.

Nick: That is not what your principal just told us.

Faith: I was suspended, not expelled.

Nick: Are you kidding?

Sharon: Faith, now is not a good time to get smart with us. We both know why you were suspended.

Faith: No, you don't know the whole story.

Nick: Explain how a bottle of vodka ended up in your locker.

Faith: I didn't put it there.

Nick: Well, then how'd it get there? It didn't just magically place itself there.

Faith: I was set up, dad.

Sharon: I find that extremely hard to believe.

Faith: Well, it's the truth.

Nick: Okay. Who set you up, faith?

Faith: I don't know. But whoever reported me to the vice principal is the one who planted the bottle. They wanted to get me in trouble, and I just got suspended, even though I didn't do anything wrong. But of course no one at school will believe me because why would they when even your own parents think the worst of you?

Summer: Yes, kyle told me everything, including the name of the woman that he had an affair with -- tara locke -- if that's what you're implying.

Sally: Yeah, she's married to the lockeness monster. Catchy name, isn't it? Unless he's destroying your life, I guess.

Summer: Alright, well, now that we've established that i know, is there anything else?

Sally: No. I'm just surprised that kyle shared so much.

Summer: We don't have secrets.

Sally: Yeah. Honesty really is the basis of any good relationship.

Summer: Mm. Not that you would really know anything about that since you did fake a fatal illness and then you kidnapped your rival, and even then, the guy kicked you to the curb.

Sally: Ouch.

Summer: You know, I am really happy that you attempted to put the screws to kyle because it just kind of shows how low you're willing to go to gain an advantage, sally.

Sally: Yeah, well, you're the one that forced the issue.

Summer: Okay, I'm sorry. In what world?

Sally: Come on. Did you really think I was gonna sit back and let you dangle an ax over my head forever? That hardly seems fair.

Summer: You know what? Fine. Fine. You want a war? Go for it because I am armed and I am ready, sally.

Sally: No, I do not want this to turn into a battle. I was imagining something more like a peaceful coexistence.

Summer: Oh, please.

Sally: I'm serious. I'm a survivor, a pragmatist, and I believe we have that in common.

Summer: Well, I really doubt that I have anything in common with you, but, sure, go ahead if you must.

Sally: Okay. Yes. Yes, I gather ammunition, but only to use as a deterrent in case I'm attacked.

Summer: Or if you really, really want something... like my job.

Sally: Okay. I will make a concession to you right now. I will accept that jcv is completely off the table for me. It's all yours.

Summer: Wow. Gosh, how generous of you to -- to not take what was never offered to you in the first place.

Sally: You and I both know that I'm not a pushover. If I really wanted it that badly, I would work day and night to make it happen, and i would make your life miserable in the process, so consider it a gift from me to you.

Summer: Well, the only gift that you could give me would be to disappear.

Sally: You know, an all-out war means mutual destruction, and neither of us wants that. So here's the deal, okay? From here on out, you don't have to worry about me, and I don't have to worry about you. And then we can both move on with our lives. And who knows? Seriously, maybe one day we might wind up friends.

[ Footsteps departing ]

Summer: [ Breathes deeply ]

Kyle: It's fine, dad, really. There's nothing to worry about.

Jack: Everything alright with you and summer?

Kyle: Things are great, never better.

Jack: I think I know you pretty well. That look I just saw on your face tells me something's going on.

Kyle: It's this jabot/fenmore's cross-promotion lauren and I have been working on. We have different ideas about the visuals.

Jack: Then it's just work you were thinking about?

Kyle: What else is there?

[ Chuckles ] Thanks for checking in. I appreciate it.

Jack: Yeah. Uh, we'll talk later.

Kyle: You bet.

[ Sighs ] Shampoos that care for your

Mariah: First abby finds out that she can't carry a child, and then chance finds out that there are problems on his end. I just felt so awful... especially since they wanted this so badly.

Devon: Yeah.

Mariah: So when they asked me to be their surrogate, I said yes. And even with chance gone, it's a good time to get started.

Devon: Well, how long is chance out of town for?

Mariah: Abby doesn't know. But it can't be that long, or he wouldn't have gone. In any case, we're gonna move forward because abby wants some excellent baby news for when he gets back.

Devon: And you're on board? You're 100%?

Mariah: I really thought this through, and this is something that I want to do for them.

Devon: Well, it's extremely generous of you.

Mariah: My job only lasts nine months, and then abby and chance take over and they do all the hard work raising the kid.

Devon: Right. And then you get to be the cool aunt?

Mariah: The coolest.

Devon: Right. Well, I expect nothing less from you, but, I mean, that -- that nine months is -- you know, pregnancy is no vacation.

Mariah: Yeah, there are gonna be some difficult moments. I am not looking forward to the morning sickness.

Devon: [ Chuckles ]

Mariah: But it's gonna be worth it. And in the end, abby and chance will get their baby.

Nina: So, this is fun. Okay. It's interesting.

Abby: [ Sighs ] I mean, I just didn't realize that there would be so many options. I mean, there are hundreds of men on this list.

Nina: And this is the cryo-bank that your doctor recommended?

Abbbby: I just wish he had put a star next to some of them. That way, it would narrow down the search a little bit.

Nina: His picks to click?

Abby: It's like this guy -- he has a military background, but he has dark brown eyes.

Nina: Oh, yeah, yeah, I saw that one.

Abby: And this one, this one -- he is tall, but he is in a band.

Nina: Nothing wrong with some musical ability.

Abby: Well, that probably means that he's gonna be out at bars all night. I -- does that sound like...

Nina: [ Laughs ] No, it's okay. It's only normal that you'd want your donor to be like chance.

Abby: He'd think I'm being ridiculous.

Nina: No, he would not. He would think you're being a loving mother who wants to see him in her child. But you know this child's gonna be like chance because chance is gonna be there every day for love and support and really stupid bad dad jokes and...

Abby: [ Laughs ]

Nina: I mean, pick the most annoying thing about chance, and your kid is bound to have that habit.

Abby: [ Chuckles ] So you're saying I could pick a donor based off their favorite movie.

Nina: Uh, it depends on the movie. I mean, chance isn't gonna worry about eye color, but I think he's gonna get particular about movie selections.

[ Both laugh ]

Abby: Let's see. Oh. It's "police academy 4."

Nina: Oh. Yeah. No, no. But you know what? Number 12050 -- check it out. His favorite movie is "groundhog day."

Abby: [ Gasps ] Chance loves that movie.

Nina: I know!

Abby: [ Laughs ]

[ Keys clacking ]

Sharon: We didn't randomly just stop trusting you for no good reason.

Nick: You've lied to us more than once.

Sharon: And you have been drinking after you swore up and down that that would never happen again.

Faith: This time I'm telling the truth.

Nick: What, that some "mean girls" set you up?

Faith: They've been making my life miserable. They go after me every day online and at school. And they send me horrible texts.

Sharon: Well, you mentioned some kids giving you trouble a few months ago, but I thought that had stopped.

Faith: Yeah, well, it hasn'T. They won't leave me alone. It's been going on this entire time. I didn't want to worry you.

Sharon: Okay, give me your phone. I want to read those texts.

Faith: I erased them all.

Sharon: Well, isn't that convenient.

Faith: Because they hurt my feelings, mom. That's why I got rid of them.

Nick: Not a smart move, faith.

Faith: I never thought things would go this far.

Sharon: Why didn't you come to us sooner? I can't believe you've been holding this in for so long.

Nick: We could have helped you at any time.

Faith: How? By marching into the school and making me look like a baby who can't handle it? Jordan had my back. She was my only friend until mom decided I couldn't hang out with her anymore.

Sharon: I didn't think that she was a good influence on you. I still don'T.

Faith: Well, she listened to me. And that's more than I can say for anyone around here. You know, that's why I hung out with her so much. She's the only person who doesn't hate me! Oh, god.

Kyle: [ Sighs ] Hey. I-it's kyle abbott. Been a while. I hear you have a son. Uh, anyway, please give me a call back, tara. It's important.

Summer: Um, why are you calling your ex? My nunormal: Fewer asthma attacks.

Summer: Um, when you said that things ended with tara years ago, I just assumed that you meant you hadn't been in contact since you left new york.

Kyle: We haven'T. I wasn't even sure if her phone number still worked.

Summer: Okay, I'm not accusing you of anything. I'm just curious as to why you decided to call her now. I-I mean, are you trying to warn her that that the truth might come out?

Kyle: Well, I figured I owed her that much.

Summer: Well, you can stop worrying because as long as theo keeps his mouth shut, your affair should stay secret.

Kyle: What about sally?

Summer: Well, I just talked to her, and she wants to call a truce. She keeps her secrets, we keep ours, as long as everyone just stays out of each other's way.

Kyle: Do you trust her?

Summer: No, of course i don't, but it's a smart play on her part, so I'm gonna go along with it until she gives me a reason not to.

Kyle: Is that all she said?

Summer: Oh, no.

[ Laughs ] No, and you are gonna love this one. Um, sally suggested that maybe someday we might all wind up being friends, which I think is just ridiculous.

Kyle: You know, that's not the worst idea I've heard.

Summer: Uh, I'm sorry?

Kyle: Did you forget about "keep your enemies close"?

Summer: No, I did not, but i don't really think I can keep up that ruse now that I know what sally's done.

Kyle: Maybe we should give it a shot. That way, we'll keep the lines of communication open. The more information we get from our friend sally, the better.

Sharon: I'm still trying to understand why these girls would do this to you.

Faith: Because I'm an easy target.

Sharon: What does that mean?

Faith: How do you not get it, mom?

[ Sighs ] This all started with that stupid article about adam and what he did to me when I was a baby. They've been after me ever since. He basically ruined my life.

Nick: Well, I want the names of these young ladies who are harassing you.

Faith: Why?

Nick: 'Cause the school needs to get involved in this. They need to investigate it, at the very least punish them for bullying you.

Faith: I can't do that.

Sharon: Why not?

Faith: Because then I'll be a snitch on top of all the other reasons they have for hating me.

Nick: Well, this bullying is gonna stop.

Faith: I can take care of it myself.

Nick: Well, clearly not since you were just suspended from your school.

Sharon: Faith, we want to help you, but we can't if we don't know the whole story. I mean, we want to know everything. You can trust us. You don't have to be scared of telling us the truth.

Faith: [ Sighs ] I can't win. No matter what I do, nothing i say is right.

Nick: [ Sighs ]

Nina: Here are my best guesses for chance's top three contenders. It's the packers fan, it's the firefighter, and it's the guy who plays trombone.

Abby: I don't know.

Nina: I know. I've got my own investment in this, and maybe that's not fair and I should back off. I don't know.

Abby: No. No, please don't, nina. I need your help. I want this. Chance and I both want this, but this is a life-changing decision, I mean, not only for us, but for our child. And I just -- I wish I could just clone chance, but since that's not an option, I feel like maybe I should go in the other direction and just close my eyes and throw a dart and whoever it lands on, that's who we choose. I-I don't know. This is just way harder than i expected. And without chance being here to talk to --

Nina: Alright, well, I think maybe we should just stop.

Abby: I can't just quit.

Nina: No, I mean just for a little break.

Abby: I don't know if that's gonna make a difference. I'll be thinking about it no matter what we're doing.

Nina: I think I have a solution for that.

Bill: Well, this is a nice setup you have here, lauren, very impressive.

Lauren: Thank you. Works for us.

Jack: I hope I'm not interrupting. I just wanted to stop by and say a quick hello.

Bill: Jack rabbit! Ah! Dag nabbit. Jack abbott. Forgive me. That was immature. But, you see, I'm a constant work in progress, and the damn sarcasm dies a slow death. Good to see you, jack. It's been a long time. You know, I didn't realize until, well, today that jabot and fenmore's shared the same office space.

Jack: We acquired a stake in fenmore's a few years ago. It's proven to be a great partnership.

Bill: Huh. Hey, how are those amazing sisters of yours?

Jack: I wasn't aware you knew ashley and traci.

Bill: Intimately. Oh, relax, jack. I'm just messing with you.

[ Chuckles ] Ashley and I -- we have friends in common from when she lived in L.A., And, I mean, who in the publishing world doesn't know best-selling author traci abbott?

Jack: Yes, we're very proud of her.

Bill: You have to tell traci, when she's ready to work with a real publisher and the king of all media, she's got to look me up.

Jack: I think traci's very happy with her publisher in new york, and she's very busy launching this online fiction venture for chanccomm. But I'll be sure to give her your best wishes.

Lauren: And in case you didn't notice, jack is a very protective older brother.

Bill: As he should be. When it comes to family, i appreciate that kind of loyalty. Ugh, there's that cute guy from 12c.

Sally: I have some things to run by lauren, but it can wait.

Lauren: Sally.

Bill: What? Oh! That? We have a history.

Jack: Oh? What happened?

Bill: Whoa. Look at the time. I am late for my meeting with, uh -- with summer. So good to see both of you. Well, you a little more than him.

[ Chuckles ]

Jack: What the hell was that?

Lauren: Sally told me that there was bad blood between her and bill, but I think I only got one half of the story.

Devon: I remember what lily went through before mac volunteered to be her surrogate.

Mariah: Did that situation work out well for everybody?

Devon: Yeah. Yeah, it did. I mean, I got an amazing niece and nephew out of it, so...

Mariah: That's exactly how it's gonna turn out for me, abby, and chance.

Devon: I like that positive attitude.

[ Both laugh ]

Mariah: I just feel really, really good about...being the kind of friend that I never thought I could be to anybody.

Devon: What are you talking about? You've always been an amazing friend to the people in your life.

Mariah: Thank you.

Devon: It's true. So, how's tessa handling all this?

Mariah: She's my biggest cheerleader.

Devon: Yeah?

Mariah: Yeah. Oh, do you want to see something cute?

Devon: I do, yes.

Mariah: Alright, I'm sending it to you.

Devon: Sending it? Alright.

[ Cellphone pings ] Oh, my gosh.

[ Both laugh ] Did she make this?

Mariah: Yeah.

Devon: This is -- this is very, very cute. It's not a surprise to me that she's so supportive.

Mariah: Oh, no, that -- that is literally just the beginning.

Devon: Yeah?

Mariah: She's got me eating and drinking all of these medically approved teas and herbs and vitamins that are supposed to be womb-friendly.

Devon: [ Chuckles ] So, what are the next steps then?

Mariah: Abby's gonna choose a donor. Until then, I just have to try my best to take care of myself while I wait for them to choose biological mr. Right.

Nick: You know, if faith has been bullied this whole time, it would explain a lot about this out-of-character behavior with the lying and the drinking.

Sharon: Well, we can't blame everything on the bullying. Faith is responsible for the bad decisions that she's made, though I'm pretty sure jordan led her down a path.

Nick: What's the story with that? I didn't know you told her she had to stay away from faith.

Sharon: I was just trying to protect our daughter. And I have hard time believing that faith would get her hands on a bottle of vodka without any friendly guidance.

Nick: [ Sighs ] I just hate it that faith feels like there's no one on her side. And it all goes back to that stupid exposé about adam. It is infuriating.

Sharon: Okay, maybe that is where it all got started. I mean, if that's true, then I'm not doing faith any favors having adam back in my life. But do you know what I really feel guilty about? If faith had never come back home from boarding school to be with me during my cancer treatments, then none of this would ever have happened.

Nick: Do not blame yourself, okay? This is those bullies' fault.

Sharon: I know you want to believe that that vodka bottle was planted, but I'm not so sure.

Nick: You think she's lying?

Sharon: Well, we know that faith's been drinking, and we know that her alcohol of choice is vodka. There was no other contraband found in her locker, just vodka.

Nick: I don't think it'd be very difficult for those girls to figure out what kind of alcohol faith has been drinking.

Sharon: I do agree with you that the school needs to deal with those girls who've been bullying faith, but in the meantime, our daughter's spinning out of control, and we've got to do something before this gets any worse.

[ Door opens ] Dull skin?

Nick: Uh, I'll go check on faith.

Rey: What's going on?

Sharon: Faith was suspended from school.

Rey: What?

Sharon: Yeah, they found a bottle of vodka in her locker. She says that it was planted there by some girls that are bullying her, but I don't know.

Rey: [ Sighs ] I'm so sorry. How is she?

Sharon: She's angry, scared, mad at her parents, especially me.

Rey: Yeah, well, you'll both get through that.

Sharon: Yeah, that's what i keep telling myself. Will we get through it, too?

Rey: Look, we don't have to talk about what's going on with us now.

Sharon: I think we do. I mean, I -- I don't like the way we left things.

Rey: Sharon --

Sharon: I can feel that you're drifting away from me. And I know the reason why, and i want to try to fix it. And I think that you feel it, too, or you wouldn't be coming home in the middle of the afternoon. It's because things are that bad, aren't they?

Devon: Yeah, I mean, it's just -- it's such a big decision, choosing who the biological father's gonna be of your child, especially with chance not being around for it.

Mariah: They don't come much bigger.

Devon: I remember like yesterday hilary, when she was considering an anonymous donor, just looking at all these online profiles and seeing what people have to offer. I'm not even a big fan of online dating, but this is -- it's another level.

Mariah: But mark my words. She will choose the perfect guy. Abby is very, very picky.

Devon: Yeah.

Mariah: You should see how long it takes her to order at a restaurant.

Devon: I've seen her. I've been with her. She'll ask what everything comes with.

Mariah: Mm-hmm. "And, uh, can I substitute anything else?"

Devon: Right? [ Chuckles ]

Mariah: It'll work out.

Devon: I'm certain that you bring them a lot of comfort, knowing they can count on you. I mean, you're making their dreams come true, so...

Mariah: And some mystery guy out there will be doing the same.

Devon: Yeah.

Abby: [ Chuckling ] Aww.

Nina: Oh, yeah.

[ Chuckles ] I thought you'd like that one.

Abby: Completely amazing.

Nina: [ Chuckles ]

Abby: I love it. I mean, and all the pictures of the cribs and the rattles and the onesies -- they were all just so adorable, but picturing chance wearing a baby sling...

[ Both laugh ]

Nina: Toting around my grandchild.

Abby: Men and babies are already irresistible, but that man and our baby -- mmm. Thank you.

Nina: For what?

Abby: For getting me through this.

Nina: I don't know. Maybe you're getting me through it.

Abby: You miss him. And you're scared, too.

Nina: War was scary. This? You know, I can handle this.

Abby: I mean, my baby doesn't even exist yet, and I can't imagine there being a day where I don't know where he or she is.

Nina: Yeah, you can't think that way, seriously. Fear will almost stop your heart at times if you're not careful.

Abby: And you've dealt with it so many times.

Nina: Most of ronan's life. Way too much of chance'S. But, you know, ah... it's worth it. It is. Every moment of fear is balanced by love and the honor of knowing your child and his habits and his quirks and the funny things he says and... you know chance sang to himself? When he was a kid, he did. Just whatever he was hearing on the radio, and he'd get, like, half the words right. Oh, god, it was so cute. I would hear him from the other room when he thought I wasn't listening. I would just melt into a puddle.

Abby: I want that.

Nina: You're gonna have that. But you know what? In order to have that, you're gonna have to select a donor.

Abby: Okay. Let's see. Onto donor 12051. Let's see what you have to offer.

Nina: Okay, and...

[ Keys clacking ]

Summer: So, yeah, that's where we are.

Bill: I like it.

Summer: I know that the layouts still need a little bit of tweaking and stuff.

Bill: No, no, no, no, look, if the rest of the work is anything like I've seen so far, I have no worries. I like your style, summer.

Summer: Oh. Thank you. You too. I am really looking forward to working with you, bill.

Bill: [ Chuckles ] Wow. I continue to run behind. I have got to get going.

Summer: That's okay. I totally know the feeling.

Bill: We will be in touch. Keep up the great work.

Summer: Thank you.

Sally: [ Clears throat ]

Bill: Oh, god. See, I knew it. I just knew it. I had this feeling -- something along the lines of, um, puking -- that I was gonna run into you again.

Sally: Yeah, well, you're in my town now, so don't blame me.

Bill: The world is my town.

Sally: What were you and summer talking about?

Bill: Why do you ask? Little jumpy, sally, hmm? Well, don't worry. We were just having a little chat about business, that's all.

Sally: Well, that sounds like a mistake.

Bill: Well, that's funny because I could have said the same thing to lauren about having you on her payroll, but i kindly restrained myself.

Sally: Mm. Am I supposed to thank you for that?

Bill: Yes. No? Well, that's okay. As long as you stay the hell out of L.A. And my family's life, it's all good. Can I get a high five? Wow. No thank-you, no high five. You know how sensitive I am, and that hurts my feelings. But I'll get over it, and I'll be on my merry way. Good luck with this fresh start or whatever the hell it really is.

Sally: [ Sighs ] Gain flings,

[ Door closes ]

Devon: [ Sighs ]

Abby: Ooh, here's a good one. Donor 12086.

Nina: [ Laughs ] Yep.

Abby: What's so funny?

Nina: Uh....

Abby: [ Gasps ] You picked him, too!

Nina: I did. I also like -- where is it? -- Yeah, 12093.

Abby: [ Gasps ] Yes! He's also on my list. Ooh! Well, I think -- I think we're making progress.

Sally: Look, I know we are not friends...yet. But I'm gonna give you some friendly advice anyway. Do not get involved with bill spencer.

Summer: Is this another one of your schemes, sally? Are you really trying to scare me out of working with a company that could do great things for jcv?

Sally: He is the most ruthless man I have ever met. To get what he wants, he will burn your world to the ground.

[ Cellphone pings ]

Kyle: [ Sighs ]

Sharon: I want to make things right with us. Let's talk things out.

Rey: Not now. Yes, I did come here to talk, but clearly this isn't the time. Nick's here. Faith's upset.

Sharon: Well, rey --

Rey: We'll talk later.

Sharon: Rey!

[ Door closes ]

Nick: Please tell me adam hasn't ruined your marriage, too.

Coming up on

"the young and the restless"...

Summer: Who's the kid?

Victor: I told billy boy that he would have to pay for the exposé he did on adam. When I promise someone something, I keep that promise.

Faith: Oh, my god.

Sharon: What is it?

Faith: You kissed him? That monster! What is wrong with you!?
