Nick: Well, this is great and long overdue.

Phyllis: It was really fun to watch her apologize.

Nick: I'm just glad she did it.

Phyllis: [ Sighs ] I know i owe you thanks for this, so thank you.

Nick: Yeah, deeply, deeply indebted to me.

Phyllis: [ Laughs ]

Nick: I mean, are you so incredibly grateful that you are willing to come with me to the newman get-together at society tonight? Please? Come on.

Phyllis: What?

Nick: Come on. It'll be so much more bearable if you do.

Phyllis: Well, bearable for you. Why do you do this? Why do you ask me at the last minute so I can't figure out an excuse to say no?

Nick: So, you've picked up on that?

Phyllis: Of course I know you do that. Of course I know. And by the way, I have plans.

Nick: With whom?

Kyle: [ Sighs ]

Summer: Ooh, hey, my 3:00 got canceled. You know what that means.

Kyle: So, you can hang around here and keep me company while i wait for my call from hong kong?

Summer: Ohh, I wish I could, but I have plans with my mom, which I can now move up and hour.

Kyle: Mm, lucky you.

Summer: You know, I am lucky to have you in my life.

Kyle: Ooh.

Summer: Even if we can't lock the door right now and pretend that we're trapped here during an ice storm.

Kyle: We made the best out of a challenging situation.

Summer: We are very good that way.

Kyle: Mm. Good at a lot of things. And getting better.

Summer: Yes, we are.

Kyle: You sure you can't stay?

Sally: Kyle. I didn't mean to barge in. I didn't realize anyone was in here.

Kyle: I'm waiting on an overseas call. And you?

Sally: Just setting everything up for my new replacement as lauren's assistant...since I just got a promotion.

Kyle: I heard about that. Congrats.

Theo: Hey, let's show a little more enthusiasm for an up-and-comer like sally.

Kyle: Theo, what are you doing here?

Victor: Baby.

Nikki: Hey!

Victor: Where's victoria?

Nikki: Well, this is one of those very rare times where she left early.

Victor: Oh. I guess she's checking on the children before we all meet at society. That's a good sign, isn't it?

Nikki: I wouldn't be so sure about that. There's a lot of tension between her and nicholas.

Victor: Oh, well... I told them to fix it, you know.

Nikki: I know, but you never know with those two.

Victor: Well, we'll see.

Nikki: Let's just consider this a positive first step -- having the entire family all together. Ictor: Except it's not the entire family, is it?

Nikki: Now, victor, promise me you're not going to make this evening all about adam.

Victor: Sweetheart, adam is my son, and his fiancée just had a devastating stroke. Why am I the only one who's worried about that?

Nikki: Darling, you aren't! We're all very concerned. What happened to chelsea is terrible. And we know that you are doing everything you can to help them. But you can't pretend that this one crisis is going to erase all of the damage adam has done, and your other children are facing their own challenges.

Victor: I know. I know. I know. I know. Nicholas is worried about faith's drinking, and so am I.

Nikki: Then there's abby, her situation. She and chance are devastated. They so wanted to have children. Then there's victoria.

Victor: Victoria? There's nothing wrong with victoria. She's running this company beautifully. And she's a devoted mother.

Nikki: Victoria's lonely. And billy --

Victor: What do you mean? What about billy? Is he preying on her emotions again? Please tell me that's not so.

Billy: [ Sighs ] Lily's gonna be here any minute. You like her, right?

Johnny: Yeah, she's nice.

Billy: Yeah. Good. I'm glad you think so. I think so, too. We had fun at the office a few days ago, turning daddy's workplace into a putting green. That's my idea of a good time. And it makes me happy that you like her because, uh, truthfully, buddy, I like her, too. You know, lily and daddy are --

Billy: That's right. We are. Uh, lily and I, uh, discussed it, and we have something important to tell johnny.

Victoria: Well, you and I had talked about it, too, and i thought we were gonna give it some more time before we did that.

Phyllis: Here's my date right now.

Nick: Hey, supergirl.

Summer: Hey, mom and dad.

Phyllis: Sit down.

Summer: Okay. Um, is, uh -- is dad joining us?

Nick: Funny you should ask.

Summer: Really? Why?

Nick: Well, I'm guessing right now you may need some of my very sage wisdom or advice. And if so, I will cancel my plans and be there for you.

Summer: Ah. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Hold on. Um, let me guess. You are supposed to meet with grandpa and you are looking for an excuse to get out of it, huh?

Phyllis: Oh! Your daughter's psychic. My goodness. Yes, he's doing a newman thing.

Nick: Will you come with me?

Phyllis: Oh, no! Oh, no! She's my date. Have fun.

Summer: [ Laughs ] I'm sorry, dad. You're on your own with this one. I have been looking forward to this all day.

Phyllis: Ahh, me too, me too. Um, so, go. Spend time with your dad. Have a good time. Tell me all about it.

Nick: Heartless.

Phyllis: Oh.

Nick: Both of you.

Summer: I'm sorry. Have fun.

Phyllis: I love you.

Nick: I love you, too.

Phyllis: [ Chuckles ]

Summer: You know, I'm gonna take a rain check on that fatherly advice.

Phyllis: He's a really good son to victor. I hope victor realizes it. Anyway, I couldn't go to that. I didn't want to deal with the newman family drama.

Summer: No. Oh, my god. I don't blame you. I am so happy that my life has less drama in it now -- and kyle'S. Ugh.

Phyllis: That's great. How are things going between you two?

Summer: They're really good, actually. Yeah, I think we're both really happy with where things are right now. You know, we're not putting a lot of pressure on ourselves over the relationship. And, honestly, it's just a lot more fun that way. Things feel really solid. We're both kicking butt at work, and, yeah, I guess I'm just kind of going with the flow and just being in the moment.

Phyllis: That's great to hear. It's great to hear. Okay. Well, let's have some cocktails and you can tell me all about that girl from L.A., That -- that cindy girl.

Summer: Uh, it's actually sally, but, yes, okay.

Theo: I'm back in the states on a buying trip.

Kyle: You expect me to believe there isn't sufficient fashion in france to supply a chain of boutiques?

Theo: Turns out there's a real demand for american accessories in paris, so I've been meeting with jewelry designers.

Kyle: You almost sound like you're taking the opportunity my father handed you seriously.

Theo: You're damn right I am, out of gratitude for jack and as a tribute to dina. Yeah, as it turns out, I got a real knack for the retail biz.

Kyle: Ahh. So, what, you're back at jabot to brag about your success?

Theo: I think you're about to be very interested in what i have to say. Since while I was in new york, i ran into someone from our past. Well, more accurately, your past.

Kyle: Theo, whatever it is you're after, I'm not playing your games anymore.

Theo: But I think you're gonna want to hear this. The person I ran into... was tara locke.

Sally: Huh. Looks like you remember her. How cool is it that theo caught up with an old friend of yours?

Theo: She was a lot more than a friend. But even I didn't realize how serious things got with you and tara. About as serious as they can get considering the two of you have a child together. I embrace getting older.

Summer: Wow! So, you slept with a woman and then walked away when she got pregnant?

Kyle: No.

Sally: "No," you didn't sleep with her? Oh. You didn't realize she got pregnant.

Kyle: [ Chuckles ] Okay. I get it. This is something the two of you cooked up. What exactly are you hoping to get out of this?

Theo: Just sharing the happy news. You know, maybe I should have brought a cigar since you missed out on all that "new dad" stuff when your kid was born.

Kyle: Yeah, that doesn't make this story any more plausible. And even if it were true, which it's not, tara would have never confided in you.

Theo: True. We were never close. She just...tolerated me because of her strong feelings for you. So this really was just kismet.

Kyle: Mm-hmm. That's not the word I would use to describe this unholy alliance between you and sally.

Sally: I swear I had nothing to do with this.

Theo: I happened to see tara out of the blue while I was in new york. We air-kissed, chatted. She never mentioned you, in case you were wondering. Clearly she's over it. But then she introduced me to little harrison. Cute kid. Can you believe it's been three years since you and tara last saw each other? Three years plus nine months equals... well, he has your dimples. Now, what would daddy loch ness monster have to say about that, I wonder? Not to mention summer.

Nikki: No, billy is not pursuing victoria.

Victor: Then what? She's not pursuing that useless S.O.B. Has she learned nothing?

Nikki: Darling, I didn't say that victoria and billy were back together. She's wondering why things turned out the way they did. But, look, let's just let tonight be a simple coming together of the family, as much of the family as can be.

Victor: Sweetheart, it ain't the whole family without adam, okay? Anyway, be that as it may... why don't you get your stuff? We don't want to be late.

Nikki: Okay. I'll be right back.

Victor: [ Sighs ]

Billy: Go get your hot chocolate -- and just one, okay? No refills.

Victoria: I thought that we were on the same page about people bouncing in and out of the kids' lives, that you were gonna be more cautious and aware.

Billy: And 100% sure before I took that next step. And that's the thing, vick. After talking to you, I realized that I am sure about lily. And I want to be honest with the kids, and I think that's the best thing to do. And with katie being called away to her little playdate, i thought I'd take the opportunity to talk to johnny and tell him what's going on.

Victoria: It just seems so sudden.

Billy: Well, you helped me get clear about it, to look at the reasons why I wouldn't tell the kids, and it just felt like I got to be honest with them. And lily's not going anywhere. She's gonna occupy a special place in my world, and I want johnny to know that.

Victoria: Does it have to be now?

Billy: Why wait?

Lily: Hello, hello. Oh. Hi. I-I didn't know that you were joining us.

Victoria: I'm not. I'm just passing through on my way to a family event.

Billy: Well, enjoy.

Victoria: You too.

Billy: [ Sighs ]

Lily: Uh, should we still do this now, after his mom was here? It might be a little confusing for him.

Billy: Yeah. You're probably right. Repair your enamel with pronamel repair.

Phyllis: Okay, to girls' night!

Summer: Cheers.

Phyllis: Cheers! Okay. Mm, alright, so, tell me -- tell me about this sarah spectra situation.

Summer: Uh, well, it's sally. And, um, I took your advice.

Phyllis: You have finally taken my advice? Ooh. Really?

Summer: Yes. Okay, so, I told her that I had learned some information about her unsavory past in los angeles that could derail her career and her credibility, and, I mean, she seemed appropriately apologetic and, I guess, accepted the fact that she had to move on and back off.

Phyllis: Mm. Fabulous.

Summer: Yeah, although she didn't really have much of a choice.

Phyllis: So, you're at a stalemate.

Summer: Yeah, pretty much, but that doesn't mean that things can't change.

Phyllis: How would things change?

Summer: Well, mom, I am dealing with a cunning, manipulative person, and -- i don't know -- once she establishes herself and feels like she's in a stronger position, there's really no telling what she's gonna do.

Phyllis: Oh, my goodness. You are summer newman. You are my daughter. Don't do this. You have the position of power right now. I mean, be careful. Fine. You know, check behind your back. Good. But do not overreact. Your life is on a trajectory right now because of things that you've done to -- to make it that way. You're the happiest I've seen you in a long time. So don't let this wannabe sabrina spectra ruin things for you.

Summer: Sally. Yeah.

[ Glass thuds ]

[ Sighs ]

Sally: It is blowing me away, the thought of a little kyle running around new york. I really don't know what to say. Congratulations?

Theo: Yeah, maybe I should have brought cigars for all of us.

Kyle: This is such a crock. Even if tara does have a kid, there's no way it's mine. She and I were caref--

Sally: Careful? Yeah. Famous last words.

Theo: Hey, you were stupid over her.

Kyle: She was married.

Theo: Is married. And ashland is as ruthless as ever.

Kyle: Mm-hmm. He's the kid's father, not me. You're just trying to screw with me again, theo.

Theo: You were such a smug jackass before I left town. You don't even want to acknowledge that I exist, much less that I'm a part of your family. Meanwhile, you have a rug-rat grenade set to go off at any time. So, yeah, I'd say I got what i came for. You know you're not untouchable.

Kyle: Are you done?

Theo: As a matter of fact, yes, I am. I have a flight to catch back to paris. So I will leave your future happiness in sally's very capable hands.

Kyle: I hope you're not gullible enough to believe any of that.

[ Door slams ] All theo cares about is stirring up trouble.

Sally: Yeah. Well, not only that. He is very good at it. Look, I hope for your sake and for summer's that this is not true. But if it is, I don't want to blow up your life. So this is me saying that we can peacefully co-exist. Right?

Nikki: Well, I think we should just enjoy each other's company and not approach this evening with any kind of agenda.

Victor: Sweetheart, I'm aware that our children are having problems. That's why I asked everyone to come together.

Nikki: Think about why you invited them here. You could sense things were brewing. You had a son and daughter that were not happy, and you wanted everybody to come together and -- and talk and support each other and...

Victor: Yes.

Nikki: ...Not insist that we know better how they should conduct their lives, but just talk.

Nick: We made it!

Nikki: Well, there you are.

Victor: I'm so glad you showed up.

Nikki: Did you two drive over together?

Nick: No, we ran into each other at the valet.

Victor: Well, better 20 minutes later than not at all.

Victoria: I'm so sorry. I was dealing with the kids.

Nick: Yeah, and I was trying to convince phyllis to come with me.

Victor: Well, I'm very glad to hear that she declined.

Victoria: Seriously, nick?

Nick: Honestly, I didn't think you would mind. Things seemed to have gotten better between you two

Victoria: Oh, yeah, sure, if that's what you want to call it.

Nick: I'm serious. It means a lot to me that you apologize for your acquisition of her hotel.

Victor: You see? Didn't I tell you that they would work things out?

Nick: You're taking credit for that, huh?

Nikki: I think what your father is trying to say is that he's pleased that the two of you were able to settle your differences.

Victor: Let me make this clear. You're adults now. You have your own families, your own problems. But I'm still your father. And I shall continue to be. And I'm gonna act in the interest of my family... my whole family. Excuse me.

Nick: If this is gonna turn into a "poor adam" thing, I'm out.

Victoria: Honestly, the last thing I want to think about is that guy's issues.

Victor: Yes?

[ Chair scrapes, thuds ] I see. Let's discuss that later. Thank you.

Abby: I am so sorry I'm late, but I have some life-altering news I can't wait to share with you all.

[ Sighs ] Look at this human trying to get in shape.

Abby: So, we're gonna have a baby.

[ Laughs ] We've had a lot of obstacles to get to this point, though.

Nick: I'm so sorry, abby. I didn't know any of this was going on with you. I know having a baby's been a tough road for you.

Abby: Thank you. It was a hard dream to let go of, but dad was so wonderful. And he set us up with some specialists that were able to give us some definitive answers in record time, so that way chance and I knew how we wanted to move forward, the next steps that we wanted to take.

Victoria: And have you done that?

Abby: Chance and I have done a lot of talking, a lot of soul-searching, and we have decided that we want a surrogate to carry our baby.

Victor: Whoa.

Nick: I think that's great.

Victoria: I agree. It's the way to go.

Nikki: We're all pulling for you, honey.

Victor: Now, abby, um, did you work out the details?

Abby: Well, I had a fantasy of who the perfect surrogate would be, someone that chance and I already know and love and trust. And it turns out our first choice said yes -- mariah.

Victoria: Wow! Congratulations!

Victor: My goodness.

Nikki: It's a perfect solution.

Nick: It blows me away, but it makes sense.

Abby: She's already had her initial doctor's appointment, and as far as mariah goes, all systems are a go.

Victoria: Well, what about you and chance? I assume that you'll be the biological parents.

Abby: Well, that was the plan since my eggs are viable, but when chance went to go do his part, uh, we got some unwelcome news from the doctor.

Victor: Hmm.

Abby: Because of the shooting and the infection that he had after, chance isn't able to father a child at the moment. And we don't know when, if ever, he'll be able to.

Nikki: Oh, sweetheart. So many ups and downs for you two to go through.

Abby: But you know what? I'm fine. It's been a roller coaster, but we'll be okay.

Victoria: I know what that's like, blow after blow.

Nick: So, what happens next?

Abby: Chance and I had a heart-to-heart, and we decided that we do want to move forward, so we're gonna find a donor. But there was one final bump in the road. Um...chance has been called away by the feds on a mission, so he's out of town right now, acting as an agent one final time, but he'll be back soon. So we are not gonna postpone our plans. We are gonna move forward, and we are going to have this baby. Yes, there has been some heartbreaking times, but we're gonna have the child that we always dreamed of, a new grandchild and cousin for this family -- and for the chancellors and the abbotts, for all of our families.

Victor: Hmm.

Summer: You know, I love that I can talk to you like this, just be open and honest and say whatever.

Phyllis: You can say whatever all the time, baby. This

Summer: You know, you really did say the right thing earlier about sally. You knew exactly what I needed to hear. And dad is amazing, but he doesn't always get it, you know?

Phyllis: I mean, he gets it, but I get it for the both of us, so...

Kyle: Hey, um, sorry -- sorry to interrupt, um --

Phyllis: Hey, kyle. Join us.

Kyle: No. Uh, I mean, thanks, but, uh --

Summer: Uh, are -- are you okay? You seem upset.

Kyle: Uh, y-yeah, we can talk about this later.

Summer: Uh, no, it's -- it's okay. We can talk about it now.

Kyle: No, I-I probably shouldn't have come charging over here.

Summer: Okay, well, you -- you did, so... okay, wait, what happened with your, um -- your overseas call?

Kyle: Um...I-I moved it.

Summer: Okay, this is serious. Um, no, just talk to me now. What?

Kyle: Um... okay, it's about sally. And -- and I-I-I really -- I don't think this is the place.

Summer: Mom is up to speed on everything. It's fine.

Phyllis: Yeah, what happens at the grand phoenix stays at the grand phoenix.

Kyle: Yeah, I-I'd still really rather discuss this in private.

Summer: O-okay, yeah.

Phyllis: I'll give you privacy.

Kyle: [ Breathes deeply ]

Summer: Um, okay, you -- you seem really rattled. What did sally do now?

Kyle: Um... I-it's not about what she's done. It's about what she found out... about me.

Lily: Do you know how to play I spy?

Johnny: Yeah.

Lily: Yeah? Okay, good. So, I will start then. Um...okay, I spy with my little eye something that starts with the letter "C."

Billy: Cocoa.

Lily: No.

Billy: Mm. Coffee.

Lily: Nope.

Billy: Coffeehouse.

Lily: Ah, oh, he's close.

Johnny: "Crimson" on the cup!

Lily: Yeah, that's it! You got it. Good job.

Billy: Good job, buddy.

Lily: [ Laughs ]

Billy: Way to go.

Johnny: Are you daddy's new girlfriend?

Billy: Well, um...

[ Clears throat ] Yes. Lily and I are boyfriend and girlfriend. But that doesn't mean that daddy's not gonna spend time with just you or you and your sister because I love spending time with you. But it's like a bonus. We get to hang out with lily, too, and she's super fun, right? Doesn't that sound cool?

Lily: [ Chuckles ] And I promise that you'll still get plenty of time with your dad. I don't want you to ever feel like I'm coming between you guys, okay? I'll never take away from your special family time.

Johnny: So, does that mean you and mommy aren't getting back together again?

Oh, oh, oh, ozempic!

Lily: Uh, you know what? I'm actually, um, gonna get a refill. Would you like one?

Billy: No, I'm okay.

Lily: Yeah? Okay.

Billy: Thanks. Listen, buddy. Your mom and I are always gonna be there to be parents for you and your sister, okay? That's never gonna change. And, yes, I don't live with your mom anymore. But we are good. You know, we're happy for each other. And you're lucky because you have the best mom in the world. Believe me -- she loves you two. You know, when you become an adult, you have to make tough decisions sometimes. And you hope that those decisions are best for everyone, but you're never quite sure. But the good thing is, your mom and lily -- they get along really well, too, and we all agree that you and your sister will always come first no matter what. I'm always gonna watch out for you. And I'm gonna make you do your homework and pick up your clothes and put your dishes away. But when we do spend time together and it's my night with you, it's still waffles at dinnertime, okay? That's never gonna change. But you just cannot tell your mom. And the way I look at it, we get to hang out with lily, too. And she's super awesome fun. Does that sound good?

Lily: Hey, you know what? Before I forget, I found this really amazing puppy video online. This dog is playing the piano. Do you want to see it? Okay, I'll pull it up.

Victoria: I am just so happy for you.

Abby: Thank you. I'm happy for me, too.

Nikki: You're going to make a wonderful mother, abby.

Abby: Ah, that means the world to me, coming from you.

Victoria: Well, you really have been put through the wringer.

Nick: No kidding.

Abby: Yes, there has been some heartbreaking moments, and this is just the beginning of the journey.

Victoria: Well, I understand what that's like, getting that kind of news, obstacle after obstacle. It wears you down.

Abby: I just -- I want to thank you all for the love and the support, I mean, from the very beginning, when I was worried when I wasn't getting pregnant.

Victoria: Well, I'm glad you faced your fears and you went looking for answers instead of waiting for something to happen and being disappointed again and again.

Abby: That would have been unbearable.

Victoria: Well, you did the right thing, so good for you.

Nick: I mean, my mind is still blown that mariah agreed to be your surrogate.

Abby: Chance and I just feel so lucky. I mean, after a lot of careful consideration and discussion between mariah and tessa, they have both committed to making our dream a reality, and chance and I couldn't be more thrilled.

Nikki: Well, I have a very good feeling about this. Boy or girl, it's going to be an amazing baby.

Victor: Abby, you've gone through so many ups and downs, and you have overcome all the obstacles in your life. I'm proud of you. You're strong and resilient.

Abby: Dad, stop. You're gonna make me cry.

Nick: You're gonna be the best mom.

Victor: I think that calls for a drink. Cheers.

Nikki: To abby.

Nick: Abby!

Abby: [ Laughs ]

Sally: Theo, it's me. I'm sure you're probably on your flight already, but I just -- I had to call. I really can't thank you enough for this gift. I mean, kyle is freaking about having a kid, and he will do anything to make sure his precious summer doesn't find out about it. So, kudos to you for knocking him sideways. You really did get the better of him after all. And now I am protected from anything that summer and kyle might try to use against me.

[ Sighs ]

Kyle: Th-there's something i need to tell you, something I'd hoped I'd left in the past, something that happened when i was living in new york. And I should have told you a long time ago, but this could seriously mess things up for my family.

Summer: Okay. Well, you're -- you're kind of scaring me now, so --

Kyle: Look, I-I don't mean to, but I'd rather you hear it from me than sally... or, worse, read it in a tabloid if she decides to play dirty. This could seriously mess things up for me, summer. I could lose everything... including you. Unexpected situation?

Summer: Hey, whatever it is, you can tell me, kyle, okay?

Kyle: Uh, you know, we should go somewhere else to talk about this.

Summer: Kyle, no one is listening.

Kyle: Look, I can't risk it, summer. If anyone were to overhear, including your parents...

Summer: Okay, yeah. No, no. Let's go. Let's go. Hey, um, we're gonna take off.

Phyllis: Is everything okay?

Kyle: All good.

Summer: Yep. Uh, we'll talk soon, okay?

Phyllis: Okay.

Nick: Okay. I know you don't think everything's copacetic. What's going on?

Phyllis: I wish I knew.

Victor: Well, I think that went well.

Nikki: So do I. Abby's news, the whole incredible story really brought us all together.

Victor: Can you imagine if we had had to go through all that to have a child?

Nikki: Oh!

Victor: Huh?

Nikki: Well, there weren't as many options available back then, even if we had needed them, which we did not.

Victor: Yeah.

Nikki: I've never regretted having our children, not for a moment.

Victor: You know... having you in my life, having our children -- it's the biggest joy.

Nikki: For me, as well. You know what else brought me joy?

Victor: What?

Nikki: You not confronting victoria about billy.

Victor: Oh, well, wait a minute now. It was pretty hard not to do, you know. I mean, first you tell me about billy boy. You know how much I loathe that guy. And it's rekindled the relationship with the victoria, I mean, and then you ask me not to say anything about it.

Nikki: Well, you didn't because you love me. And that's just part of the magic that's kept us together all these years.

Victor: Let's just hope that our children find the same magic.

Victoria: [ Sighs ]

Billy: Johnny's already had his bath. Hannah's gonna handle the rest.

Billy: So, how did your newman gathering go? Sparkling conversation, as usual?

Victoria: I am actually more interested in your talk with johnny about you and lily dating.

Billy: Well, the funny thing is we decided not to tell him after you showed up. Lily thought it would be confusing for him, and I agreed.

Victoria: Well, that was a wise choice.

Billy: Yeah, and then -- i don't know, we were in the middle of a game -- johnny just straight up asked us if we were boyfriend and girlfriend, just like that.

Victoria: Really? How did you handle it?

Billy: I rolled with it, vick. I told him the truth. I told him that nothing important is ever gonna change and that we will always be parents to the both of them and that we are happy for each other.

Victoria: How did he take it?

Billy: Well, he seems like he's bumping up against it a little bit, but I think he'll be fine. All in all, I think it went well.
