Brittany: Is there anything you said in particular to sharon that would have tended to make her feel even more at ease sharing her deepest secrets with you?

Rey: Yes. I told sharon that I loved her. We can't be together anymore.

You are sentenced to 3 years in prison. 10 years in prison. Nicole newman, you are sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Nick: Oh, my god.

You're being transported to lakewood correctional facilities where you'll begin serving your sentences. Welcome to the rest of your lives, ladies.

Rey: What do you want?

Nick: Can we come in?

Billy: I take it your wife's not here. Which I'm not surprised by, given the truth that came out in your testimony about just how thorough you were investigating sharon.

Rey: Yeah, well, I have somewhere I need to be. What do you want?

Nick: Three women are heading to prison. Three women with lives and families and jobs. Three women who didn't do anything wrong except protect themselves and each other. And you are the cop who arrested them. Don't you think that's on you?

Rey: The jury made their call. I was doing my job.

Nick: And what was that? Lying to a vulnerable woman? Telling her that you love her so you can squeeze some confession into your case?

Rey: I never lied to sharon.

Billy: Oh, so you're happy with the way this turned out?

Nick: Good. This is your chance to make things right.

Abby: Did you sleep at all?

Arturo: [ Sighs ] This is what we prayed for. Lola's getting her transplant. I wasn't sure if we'd even get to this point. Now it's here, but, you know, things happen.

Abby: Arturo...

Arturo: No, no matter how good the doctors are, okay, bad things happen, okay? Things that we don't know about.

[ Sighs ] I just feel like I have to protect her, abby. I need to be there. It's our job, rey's and mine, but I have no idea how to do that when all I can do is just sit and pray.

Abby: Then do that. You look out for your sister, and I will look out for you.

Nate: You ready for this?

Lola: Mm, I should be asking you.

Nate: [ Chuckles ] How, uh -- how do you feel?

Lola: Like I won the lottery. I'm going to be okay because someone is going to give me a part of themselves, and I can't even say "thank you."

Nate: Well, sometimes, it's just the way it is.

Lola: Where's kyle?

Summer: Kyle?

Kyle: Hey! You're up.

Summer: Yeah. I thought I'd wake up next to my husband, today of all days. Where are you going?

Kyle: I was gonna go to the hospital, make sure everything is set. And I wanted you to sleep. You need your rest.

Summer: Okay, but it's our first morning as a married couple, and I was hoping that it would be as romantic as last night was.

Summer: This "commitment," and the "promise" -- when you phrase it like that, it just sounds like such a jabot contract.

Kyle: [ Sighs ]

Summer: Kyle, we said vows to each other in front of our friends and our family. We had a real wedding. It was so perfect. And when we made love, it felt right. That was real. Now I know more than ever that this is where we belong. Together.

Rey: I can't do this anymore.

Mia: Do what?

Rey: I can't keep trying to -- to live this lie! I'm done. You're right, mia. I'm in love with sharon.

Mia: [ Sighs ]

Arturo: Mia, if this isn't about lola, I don't want to hear it.

Arturo: I don't have time for it, okay? I need to get to the hospital.

Mia: Just come, arturo. You have to. You'll regret it if you don'T.

Abby: Is everything okay?

Arturo: Yeah, I, um -- I just need to handle something before I go to memorial. Can you meet me there?

Abby: Of course. Yeah. Go.

Arturo: Okay.

Billy: There was a set-up.

Nick: It was always a set-up.

Billy: Someone tried to frame victor for J.T.'S disappearance.

Nick: The fire at our family stables, the gun that was placed there, the bloody shirt.

Billy: You and your crew didn't think too much about it, so when things kept happening...

Rey: What -- what things?

Nick: There was someone at my parents' place at the ranch.

Rey: What does that even mean?

Nick: It was a stalker. Some guy who was hiding in the walls. I don't know how long he was there, but he was there. Also, with some surveillance set-up -- just listening, waiting to make his move. Well, we got our hands on his equipment.

Rey: Yeah, and you didn't report any of this to the pd?

Nick: Why would we? Christine was hell-bent on busting a newman for this, and you, being the loyal soldier, you just fell right in line.

Rey: All right.

Nick: You never once looked outside the family for someone else to arrest.

Rey: Okay. Let's get back to this guy hiding in the walls. How do you know it was a guy?

Billy: Because he made friends with my young daughter. She couldn't see his face, but she could hear his voice. She told me that he sang to her, and she recited some of the words of the song that he sang. I recognize them. You know how? Because J.T. Wrote the song.

Rey: [ Sighs ]

Billy: He used to sing it to his son when he was a little kid.

Rey: Okay. You seriously think that J.T. Is alive, hiding out in victor newman's property?

Nick: He was. The trouble is, he's not anymore, or we wouldn't need you.

Billy: And, rey, you screwed up. On the case and on the stand.

Nick: Sharon trusted you. We knew better.

Rey: And you let these women go to trial without reporting any of this to the pd?

Nick: And you would have believed us, rey? You've arrested damn near my whole family with nothing, not a single fact.

Billy: Victoria's testimony was supposed to be the silver bullet. When she told everybody just what kind of man J.T. Really was, it should have been enough to get them all acquitted. That's what we were counting on, anyway.

Nick: The shirt...

Rey: With J.T.'S blood on it.

Nick: Yeah. Well, he wasn't wearing that one the night he was at victoria's house. But it was there. Who put it there? And it got J.T.'S blood on it? Somebody was framing my dad, and who was that? My mom? My sister? Sharon?

Rey: I'd put phyllis higher on that list, but then nikki confessed and phyllis got immunity.

Nick: Phyllis would love to see my dad in prison for the rest of his life, but there is no way that was her in the walls of my parents' house. There's only person who is capable of doing something like that.

Billy: J.T. Knows every square inch of that ranch, and he's a security specialist. He knows what to avoid, how to be invisible.

Nick: You have no body, no corpse, no J.T.

Rey: Okay, if any of this is true...

Billy: No, it's all true, rey. Every single word of it is true.

Rey: Phyllis said on the stand that J.T. Was dead!

Billy: Well, you know, they weren't exactly thinking straight when he broke into her house and tried to kill victoria.

Nick: Yes, they injured him. Maybe he was even close to death, but, in their panic, obviously they didn't check him closely enough.

Rey: So -- so J.T. Has been alive this whole time watching this whole thing play out?

Nick: J.T. Tried to kill my dad twice. He's been abusing my sister. You know that if he stepped foot in genoa city, he would be arrested in a heartbeat.

Billy: But, this way, he's dead. So he's free to terrorize our families, and you helped him out the entire way.

Nick: You found a watch and some dna, and you just assumed there was a murder. So you quit lookin', rey. And now J.T. Thinks he's won. Look, I want to believe that you are a good cop and you're not just looking for another conviction.

Rey: I'm not.

Nick: You told sharon that you loved her and that it wasn't a lie. Then you must know she doesn't deserve to go to prison for a crime that never happened! Well, neither does my mother or my sister. So I'm asking you, please... help us make this right.

Rey: All right.

Rey: It's in the works.

Nick: Good. Thanks.

Rey: I'm not doing it for you.

Billy: Oh, we know that.

Nick: You care about sharon. I've always known.

Rey: I didn't expect for the sentences to come down like that.

Nick: Christine knew what she wanted, and she got it.

Rey: When this whole thing went down, why didn't they come to the cops? I know, I know. They don't trust us. I heard it all throughout the trial. But I also heard the truth up there, that this was an accident. There was no intent to kill.

Nick: They didn't kill him. J.T. Didn't die. He's out there.

Rey: If you're right...

Nick: We're right.

Rey: Then we have to find him.

[ Door closes ]

Locked and loaded. Let's go!

[ Engine starts ]

Arturo: Mia, this better be really important. Lola's about to go into surgery.

Mia: Rey and I broke up.

Arturo: Okay.

Mia: You don't care?

Arturo: Everyone heard what he said about sharon on the stand, so let him suffer for a week or two, and...

Mia: He left me. He left me. I was willing to give him another chance because I know that some words... or even a night... can't undo a marriage. Not if the love is real.

Arturo: Mia, what did you expect? I mean, you and all your drama. Calling out my name in bed -- what were you thinking?

Mia: The same thing you've been thinking about ever since that night.

Arturo: I need to get to memorial.

Mia: No, you want to pretend that it's all my drama, all my fault. You're the one that came back that night.

Arturo: Stop it.

Mia: You came back because you couldn't stay away. You acted all noble and strong leaving, but it didn't last.

Arturo: You let me in.

Mia: You knew I would. You're my weakness! My first. How am I supposed to say no to you?

Arturo: Yeah, it was one night, okay? That's it. It was a mistake.

Mia: And we agreed we'd forget. And I did. Or at least I thought I did. And then -- I was with rey, and I called your name. And he was hurt and angry... I tried to tell him it was nothing, but he just had to run. Run to sharon's house and announce that he was in love with her. You know she's been waiting for that since the moment he moved to town. Rey said nothing happened in that motel, but I've seen the way she looks at him and the way he looks at her. I know that look. And so do you.

Arturo: Rey wouldn't want me to be here. So if you want to work things out with him, give him some time, some space. It's not like sharon's an option anymore.

Mia: No. Now it's worse. Now she's his princess in a tower, a martyr. I gave him space once. He came to this town without me, and he met sharon.

Arturo: Okay, well, you'll figure it out, okay? Because that's -- that's what you do. But, right now, I need to get to the hospital, okay? I got to be with my family.

Mia: Such a good sibling. Except for that time you went into your brother's apartment and slept with his wife.

Arturo: What do you want from me, hmm?

Mia: Convince rey to take me back... or I tell abby we had sex.

Sharon: How much farther?

Not long.

Nikki: Your father will never let this go, you know that. He's making sure that we can bunk together, so that we can be there for each other. He will do anything he possibly can to make sure we are safe, darling. Listen, we will get through this, I promise you. There is a message in this for us, a meaning for us. All we have to do is just --

Sharon: [ Gasps ]

Nikki: Darling, darling, darling, you're fine. Everything is gonna be okay. Everything is okay.

Phyllis: Thank you. Yesterday. We were able to put aside our differences for our daughter's sake. It was very adult of us. And I can see that has exhausted all of your good will.

Nick: Yeah, I've kind of got a lot going on today.

Phyllis: I know. Vicki, nikki, and sharon, they're leaving today. I know.

Nick: Yes. They're in a transport van getting hauled off to prison right now. So katie, johnny, faith, christian, and everyone they love is getting left behind.

Phyllis: I never wanted this.

Nick: You don't even realize it, do you? I'm talking about them. And you're talking about you. It's just the way your mind works. You are incapable of thinking about anyone but yourself. But I don't want to do this. I don't want to talk about them or this case with you because i don't want to hear what you have to say on the subject.

Phyllis: Okay. You were right, um, we need to focus on our daughter's marriage.

Nick: I'm not sure it's gonna last much longer than her first one. Summer has no idea how to make a relationship work. Right now, she's just all adrenaline, she's good, thinking she's getting exactly what she wants. But then the day in and day out's gonna kick him. The land mines...

Phyllis: When you're not looking, when it's the last thing you want, you blow everything sky high.

Nick: I told you, I don't want to talk about it.

Phyllis: And you're right, we shouldn't talk about it. But I want you to know I didn't want to hurt those women. I thought I was tough enough to be the one to save them. I made myself the keeper. Truly, nick, I did not want to hurt them.

Nick: Yeah, you find someone you care about, and you're willing to fight like hell for them. The way you do with summer and daniel, even me.

Phyllis: Yes. Yes, that is right. That is true.

Nick: But my mother and my sister and sharon, you don't give a damn about them. You made that deal with christine for you, not them. You took the stand for you, not them. So do not try and fake it with me, phyllis. I know you.

[ Cellphone chimes ] Excuse me.

Nate: How are you feeling?

Kyle: She's only sort of cutting off the blood flow to my arm.

Nate: [ Chuckles ] Come on in, you two.

Nate: Okay, so... I know this is scary, okay? But I want to let you know that I'll be here right by your side the entire time, okay? And this guy will --

Summer: Yeah, that's my husband.

Nate: It's quite a honeymoon you two have planned.

Kyle: Gonna wait on her hand and foot.

Nate: Okay, listen, this is how it'll happen. The first thing, you'll change in your hospital gown, and then the anesthesiologist, he'll come in, a quick chat --

Summer: Can we not do this?

Kyle: Do what? The surgery?

Summer: No, the talk. I mean, I signed all my release forms and all of that, and i went online, which was a huge mistake, and... I just don't think that I want to talk about it that much. I'm not a planner. I just rush in, and I'd kind of like to do that now, too, if that's okay.

Nate: Whatever you need. Okay? That's the way we'll handle this. This is sort of my thing, liver transplants, okay?

Kyle: [ Chuckles ]

Summer: Yeah.

Kyle: That what you put on your dating profiles? "Livers are my thing."

Nate: I don't want to brag. Actually, I do. But, yes, you'll -- you'll do great, okay? All right.

Kyle: Do you want me to call nick and phyllis? Tell them what's happening? You know they'd come running.

Summer: No. No, I'm fine. This is what I want. You're the only one that I need, kyle.

Arturo: Hey. Rey called. He's got some work, but he's gonna be here.

Lola: Busy fighting crime and saving the world?

Arturo: [ Chuckles ]

Lola: I'm glad he could fit me in.

Arturo: [ Chuckles ] He loves you. Me...

[ Sighs ] I just put up with you. Barely. Sometimes. I mean, come on, you know -- you know that I almost lost abby because of you? Mm-hmm. Yeah. You left your laundry on the sofa, and she found your bra under the pillow. She didn't need to see that. No one needs to see that.

Lola: But... she puts up with you anyway.

Arturo: God knows why.

Lola: Hey. Kyle knows that the surgery is today, right? Is he here yet?

Lola: No, he -- he was here. When I woke up, he went to go get the doctor, and then...

Arturo: Yeah, then we got the good news, and we all swarmed you.

Lola: He knows that you don't like him.

Arturo: [ Chuckles ]

Lola: But... don't keep him away. Promise?

Arturo: Hey, why don't you give me your order, hmm?

Lola: What?

Arturo: Your order. Your food order. You know, like, when you can actually eat real food, like, not this delicious iv drip. I don't know, maybe some fries, uh, ice cream, something fancy, gourmet -- anything! I don't know...

Lola: [ Chuckles ] You don't have to be scared for me, you know.

Arturo: [ Sighs ] I'm not scared. I'm not. Hey, look, I'm just worried, all right? It's a brother thing.

Lola: Someone out there is saving my life. Maybe it's a woman, too, sitting with her brother... just like us. And, um, maybe he's not scared, either. But someone is going to be a part of me. And it's so weird, but kind of magical, too. I just wish I could thank them.

Arturo: We're gonna figure it out, okay? But, right now, I need you to rest because you have a long day ahead.

Lola: Remember the moulin? When you took me to the concert. Who was it?

Arturo: It was those girls with the hair thing.

Lola: And mom wouldn't let me go, but you took me anyways. You snuck me out.

Arturo: Mm-hmm.

Lola: You, me...

Arturo: And 500 screaming little girls. Yeah. You fell asleep with the biggest smile on your face on the way home. You know, that's proof right there that I'd do anything for you.

Lola: I wish you could find out who the donor is.

Arturo: I'm sorry.

Mia: Coffee to go, please.

Phyllis: Hello, mia.

Mia: Phyllis. I'm sorry I wasn't available to do summer's hair and makeup yesterday, but I'm sure she was stunning.

Phyllis: Oh, it's okay. It was last-minute.

Mia: Mm.

Phyllis: Might have been a little awkward, given that she married kyle.

Mia: Well, love is complicated and confusing, but we all need to embrace it when we can, and I would have been happy to have been there. But, you know, life gets in the way.

Phyllis: Yes, I do know that.

Mia: Well, thank you for thinking of me.

Phyllis: Absolutely. You're very talented. You're tough. Getting kind of tired of people who are not willing to fight, reach out for what they want.

Mia: You don't ask, you don't get.

Phyllis: That's exactly right.

Mia: Mm-hmm.

Phyllis: It takes guts, you know? You can't be shy about it, got to move forward. You can't wait for permission. You don't strike me as someone who would wait for anything.

Mia: I don'T. And that means a lot coming from someone with your level of success. You're living the dream.

Phyllis: That I am.

Mia: And now your daughter is, too. It must be a relief to see her settled and happy.

Phyllis: Well, we can only hope. I am very, very sorry to hear about your sister-in-law. It's awful what happened to her.

Mia: Lola is a good person. Kind. Honestly, kind in a way I don't understand all the time. But not a pushover. She's strong. She'll pull through it. I know it.

Phyllis: I'm gonna keep a good thought for her, okay?

Mia: Thank you.

Abby: Hi.

Mia: Hello.

Abby: I'm on my way to the hospital. I'm meeting arturo there with some coffee. He barely slept. Are you going to meet rey?

Mia: Rey and his family need some space right now. It's something you might want to consider.

Abby: I think I know what my fiancé needs. Thank you.

Nikki: Are we there?

Sharon: No, this can't be it. We're -- we're in the middle of nowhere.

Nikki: What's happening?

Victoria: Where are we?

Sharon: I don't know -- what?

Get out.

Nikki: Uh, no, I -- I don't think we will. You stay right here, darling.

Sharon: Wait, is this some kind of a trick? You want us to get out? For what?

Get. Out.

Victoria: No, no, no. This is wrong. No, this is wrong. Can anyone hear us? Anyone?

Nick: It's okay. You're safe. I promise.

Nikki: Oh, my god.

Summer: This is really happening.

Kyle: It's a good thing.

Summer: [ Sighs ] When I come out --

if I could out of surgery...

Kyle: Whoa, don't think like that. I mean it. Nate would never let you go ahead with this if it weren't safe.

Summer: If I make it out, what if --

Kyle: You'll be fine.

Summer: What if you're not here?

Kyle: What? No. Why?

Summer: Because once lola gets what she needs, you're just gonna leave me all alone.

Kyle: No. No, no, no. I told you, it's --

Summer: Yeah, that you'll honor your obligation, just like it's paying taxes or going to jury duty.

Kyle: It's not like that. I promise you.

Summer: [ Voice breaking ] All the time that we wasted being apart, kyle... it was always you. I just didn't see it. And then you... you finally met someone, and now I'm just an obligation. You pay your fine, and... you're on your way. Grandpa would be so annoyed. How could I make a deal and not get it in writing?

Kyle: Hey, hey. You'll come back, and I'll be right here.

Abby: Thank you. I don't think you understand what this is doing to arturo. I wake up, and he's staring at the ceiling. I ask him what's wrong, and he just shakes his head, but... I'm sure it's lola.

Mia: I have known the rosales family since lola wore braces. I know how they think, how they feel, what they need.

Abby: But you're not going to the hospital to support the family you consider yourself a part of? That's your decision.

Mia: [ Sighs ] I know arturo loves you very much. But families are special. It's not easy to be a part of one. And it doesn't start the second a ring is on a finger. It takes days and nights and sad times, and the good stuff, too. I love rey, and I never want to do anything to hurt him or his family again. So if I give you some advice, it is from the bottom of my heat. I want things to work out with you and arturo. I want good, happy lives for all of us.

Rey: Hey. There's no chance that your brother could come up here? Or kyle?

Billy: No. No, nobody's coming up here. We have all the time we need. Speaking of time, we're on the clock, so we should get this thing moving. Tell me again that the guys you have on this are not gonna back out, right?

Rey: No, no, no. They're doc officers with bad baggage. Them doing this for me is a lot better than me ratting them out.

Billy: You're on the line now, man.

Rey: Yeah, well, I'm prepared to deal with the fallout.

Nikki: Nicholas, but what -- what's going on?

Victoria: I don't understand. Billy, what are you doing here?

Sharon: What about the other guard, the driver? Rey? You --

Billy: Rey is the mastermind here. It was his idea.

Rey: What you ladies went through, years of prison isn't gonna answer. I have to fix what I did. Do what's right.

Nikki: What does that mean? Fix it how? What are we doing here?

Rey: I have to go. Nick and billy will fill you in on everything.

Nate: Doing well, okay? We're almost there.

Summer: I'm good. So this is it.

Kyle: Everything will go exactly the way it's supposed to. And you'll wake up and come back.

Summer: And you'll be here?

Kyle: Waiting for you.

Summer: I love you.

Kyle: I love you, too.

Rey: Hey, runt.

Lola: Hi.

Rey: How's she doing?

Abby: I'll just, um...

Lola: You took a break from fighting crime. How will the city survive?

Rey: I hired about a dozen guys to cover for me.

Lola: [ Chuckles ]

Arturo: What a hero.

Lola: Look at you two. Making nice for me. And all it took was some organ failure.

Arturo: You know that if we could, we'd be in there with you.

Lola: I think I got to do this one on my own.

Abby: Why aren't you home with your new bride?

Billy: We went and saw rey earlier.

Nick: Turns out, he's not a complete tool. He arranged the driver and the guard.

Nikki: So you're saying that both of them knew what was gonna happen when we got in the van?

Sharon: They were in on it the whole time?

Billy: Rey had dirt on them, and he threatened them if they didn't cooperate.

Victoria: But how are they gonna explain this to the warden and to christine?

Nick: Simple. There was an accident, and you three escaped.

Nikki: Oh, my god. We're escaped convicts.

Sharon: Fugitives.

Victoria: But the kids -- I mean, that's gonna be on the news, they're gonna --

Billy: No, believe me, I am going to make sure that the kids don't know anything about this, okay? This is just the way that it had to be.

Nick: It lets us do what we need to do.

Victoria: And what is that?

Nick: Set a trap for J.T.

Nate: Her surgery didn't go as well as lola'S.

Devon: I literally just saw my sister ana come into this room, and I'm guessing that you're the person she's been giving money to.

Nikki: We will all be home soon.

Victoria: Nick said the same thing.
