Rey: I -- I thought maybe you'd heard a rumor or you had guessed at what happened to J.T., But... you were there. You were a witness to his murder. Okay. Okay. Walk me through it, from the beginning. The night J.T. Died.

Sharon: Well, victoria had just split with J.T., And i decided to throw a little party to try to cheer her up.

Rey: Go on.

Sharon: We were drinking, and victoria admitted that J.T. Had been abusing her, and that was why they split. And then... she got upset and she went upstairs. After a while, we heard some noise, and then we heard her screaming. We -- we went up there and we saw J.T. Attacking her.

Rey: How did he get in there?

Sharon: Through an upstairs window. Nikki saw J.T. Attacking her daughter, and she did what any mother would have done. She grabbed the nearest object and hit him. She was only trying to stop him. She didn't mean to kill him.

Rey: Why didn't you call the police?

Sharon: I did. The 911 call.

Rey: Yeah, but you hung up.

Sharon: I wasn't the only one involved, rey. Nikki was trying to protect victoria. We knew that, but we started to have doubts -- if the police would believe it, would they see this as self-defense, or not?

Rey: It wasn't self-defense! It was murder.

Mia: How long are you gonna put up with this princess treating you like the help?

Arturo: I think you've had enough to drink tonight.

Mia: Oh, because I'm speaking the truth? Hurts, doesn't it?

Rey: All I'm saying is that, technically, it wasn't self-defense, but that doesn't mean that the circumstances surrounding his death won't be taken into account.

Sharon: Believe me, we wrestled with that after we realized what happened. Was it self-defense? Should we call the police?

Rey: So you just -- you decided to take your chances?

Sharon: We decided that we didn't deserve to go to prison for killing a man who could have killed our friend. We fought over it, and then we've suffered for it every day since then.

Rey: You felt trapped.

Sharon: We all made a promise. We vowed we would never tell anyone.

Sharon: [ Whimpers ] We wrapped him in a rug, and then we drove him to chancellor park, and we buried him.

Rey: Where's his body now?

Sharon: We don't know. We went back, and it wasn't there.

Abby: Well, there's more to life than just work. What you need is a good night's sleep, just time to cool off, and then maybe listen to what he has to say. The whole story.

Sharon: Of course it did. I'm not gonna lie to you again.

Rey: You covered it up. You buried his body, you destroyed evidence, you lied to the police.

Sharon: No one meant for any of this to happen. Nikki was just trying to protect victoria, and then one thing led to another and... then things got out of control. We panicked. You have to believe me.

Rey: I wish it was that easy.

Sharon: None of this was my choosing. I'm not a criminal, rey.

Rey: You just aided in the commission of several crimes. A couple days ago, you handed me a tape that made it seem like victor had killed J.T. What do you call that? Because I call it a setup.

Sharon: No. I told you all along that I believed that victor was innocent.

Rey: Did you ever stop to think what would happen when the truth came out? What the consequences would be for anyone involved, including yourself?

Sharon: I never thought victor would be convicted.

Rey: Oh, no, no, no. You hoped he wouldn'T. That tape was as good as any confession, and you knew that. It was the piece of evidence we needed, and you handed it to me. You'd be okay with an innocent man going to prison?

Sharon: No, of course not. Things just spiraled out of control. Lying to you, lying to myself.

Rey: On the daily!

Sharon: Okay. Well, now you know everything. So I have to ask -- what happens next?

Tessa: Are we gonna get arrested for breaking and entering?

Mariah: Sharon gave me a key.

Tessa: Yeah, but still...

Mariah: It's not like we're inviting 100 of our closest friends for a rave. Okay.

Lola: Well, I took your advice. I went to go see kyle at the cabin, to tell him that breaking up was a mistake, that... I wanted to work things out.

Mariah: What was summer doing there?

Lola: She was kissing him.

Mariah: I don't believe it.

Lola: Yeah, I didn't, either.

Mariah: No, no, no. Kyle loves you. He would never invite summer up to the cabin.

Tessa: Mm-hmm, not kyle 2.0.

Mariah: What I do believe is summer finding out that you're not gonna be there and throwing herself at kyle. No, that's -- that's a summer move. That she would do.

Tessa: Mm.

Lola: You really think so?

Tessa: Yeah, I'd put money on it.

Mariah: Just a couple of hours ago, you were willing to fight for kyle.

Lola: I did.

Tessa: Yeah, but now it looks like summer is the one fighting for him, and you are throwing in the towel.

[ Scoffs ] Guarantee you she is loving that.

Mariah: Okay, where is kyle now?

Lola: I don't know, he tracked me down at the club and tried to explain everything.

Lola: [ Scoffs ]

Tessa: Love is harder than it looks. There are bumps in the road, other people get in the way. You have to slay a few dragons on the way, and some of them are his.

Mariah: And some are hers. You know, but there are gonna be obstacles. But overpowering those obstacles, that's what makes the good times even sweeter.

Tessa: He loves you. You changed him. He was the kind of person who would go through life without needing anything or anyone, but he's not that person anymore. Because you love him, and he would do anything for you.

Mariah: Is there any chance you're willing to see his side of the story?

Lola: Guys... you are the best friends a girl could have.

Nick: You know, then it was like the jukebox was reading my mind, the music changed...

Phyllis: Yeah. It was a slow song that was so pretty. What was it?

Nick: I just remember you holding you in my arms. So close. I never wanted to let you go.

[ Doorbell rings ]

Nick: Wonder who that could be at this hour.

Victoria: Let's just say, for the sake of argument, that something were to happen to me tomorrow, and I couldn't be there for the kids.

Billy: Then I would take care of them. In a heartbeat, you know i would. What's going on here?

Victoria: Billy, just humor me. Please. You would be there for them?

Billy: Yes. Absolutely.

Victoria: Every single day?

Billy: Yes. I'll tell them how much their mother loves them, and that if she could be here with them right now, she would, but, for right now, it's me and them. And I would make sure that they made you proud by doing well in school and treating each other with love. Eating the vegetables.

Victoria: And you would let them know that wherever I am, no matter where I am, my heart is with them?

Billy: You need to just tell me what's going on because this doesn't sound like a hypothetical anymore, okay? Are you -- are you going somewhere?

Victoria: I thought that maybe I would have more time.

Billy: Time for what?

[ Doorbell rings ]

Victoria: To say goodbye.
