Episode #11448 ~ Victor puts Jack on notice; Rey digs for dirt; Mariah takes a risk.

Previously on "the young and the restless"...

Tessa: [ Screams ]

Sharon: Tessa, what's happening? Tessa?! It sounded like you were being attacked.

Tessa: I was.

Nick: It was me who hacked newman enterprises.

Jack: Hacking, as you know, still leaves digital fingerprints.

Nick: I'll just hire a cybersecurity expert and wipe all the data.

Kyle: My family owns that building, and the company.

Lola: Don't feel bad.

Kyle: Excuse me?

Lola: That the only job you could get was from someone with your last name.

Jack: It could be another matt miller. I mean, that's a very common name.

Abby: He said the man in the photo with dina was his father, and my dad's father, albert miller.

Billy: I thought I had more shares in that account. Well, I need the money, so... yes, it's an emergency. I tried to tell you that yesterday before our call mysteriously got cut off. Look. There's got to be something that you can do, okay? Why? Why can't you handle it today? I understand new york is closed. Just keep working on it, all right?

[ Sighs ]

Phyllis: What's that about?

Billy: Budget issues.

Phyllis: Really?

Billy: Yes, really. Why, you don't believe me?

Phyllis: Well, I couldn't help but notice you getting off the phone so quickly when i walked in, and you hid whatever was on your screen.

Billy: Is there something you want to see me about, specifically?

Phyllis: It is 6:00, and since we live together, I thought it'd be a good idea to discuss our plans for this evening, but clearly you're in a rotten mood.

Billy: Well, there's a lot going on right now, okay? We're gearing up for the launch, and just because the little hand is on the 6 and the big hand is on the 12 doesn't mean I can waltz out of here.

Phyllis: Okay, well, um, this budget issue -- does it have anything to with jabot, or -- wild guess -- is it really about your gambling?

Summer: Hey.

Kyle: Hey.

Summer: Got a minute?

Kyle: [ Sighs ] What do you need?

Summer: Um, I just e-mailed you my report on millennial fashion trends, and I was just hoping that you could look it over, give me your thoughts. You can just e-mail me back so we don't have to spend any time together.

Kyle: I never said I wanted that.

Summer: Well, you made it pretty clear that you want me out of your life, and I'm trying to do what I can to make that possible while still doing my job.

Kyle: Why do you have to make everything so complicated? I haven't been ghosting you. We still have to work together.

[ Sighs ] Only you could be such a drama queen about something as dry as trend analysis.

Summer: And only you could be so rude and condescending when i am trying my best to fix our friendship, which I happen to think is worth saving, and, evidently, you don't, which doesn't mean that you have to insult me, kyle.

Kyle: Summer, wait!

Mariah: Hey! I'm home!

Tessa: [ Gasps ] Uh, welcome back! How was, uh, the big trip? How'd the remote go in madison?

Mariah: Why did you react that way when I hugged you?

Tessa: Uh, I was, uh, startled.

Mariah: No, you -- you gasped and winced like you were in pain.

Tessa: Oh, I smacked into the corner of the counter earlier and I got a little bruise. It's nothing.

Mariah: Show me.

Tessa: What?

Mariah: Well, if that's really all that it is, then show me.

Tessa: Okay, you're being ridiculous.

[ Gasps ]

[ Exhales sharply ]

[ Inhales sharply ]

Mariah: Are you really gonna blame this on the counter?

Tessa: Look, I -- I just didn't want you freaking out.

Mariah: Too late. I am already imagining all of the terrible ways you could have gotten those. Tessa, what happened while I was gone, and why are you lying to me about it?

Billy: These syndicates are incredibly sophisticated. They hire professional oddmakers, statisticians. The players are not risk-adverse, so the payouts are huge.

Phyllis: Meaning the price to buy in is equally huge.

Billy: You don't have to worry about that, okay? I can afford it.

Phyllis: Look. You lost that bet with our horse, okay?

Billy: Ah.

Phyllis: You've been talking about playing more poker, and now this. Sports betting. On top of everything else, do you think that this is wise?

Rey: Right this way. Thank you for coming, mr. Newman.

Victor: Mm-hmm. So, why don't you tell me why you called me?

Rey: J.T. Hellstrom.

Victor: Mm.

Rey: When's the last time you saw him?

Victor: The last time I saw that bastard was in the hospital room after I'd just come out of a coma. Victoria was there, as well. I was unable to speak. Had I been able to speak, I would have called the cops and told them that he was responsible for my condition.

Rey: That must have been terrible, being able to hear and see, but not able to communicate.

Victor: You have no idea.

Rey: You're right, I don't have any idea, but I am determined to find the bastard.

Victor: Mm.

Rey: And make him pay for what he did to you.

Victor: Mm.

Rey: I have one problem, though. It seems like he just disappeared without a trace the last night he was seen at your daughter'S. How does a man just vanish like that?

Victor: Are you asking my opinion, or are you making an accusation?

Jack: Fine, I'll get city hall on the horn, find out what's holding up the inspection.

Nick: Great. Before you go, do you want to tell me what's been bugging you?

Jack: Why would you say that?

Nick: Ah, you've been out of it all day.

Jack: I'm sorry, I've just maybe been a bit preoccupied.

Nick: Search for your dad? After we talked about it yesterday, it kind of seems like it's been weighing on you.

Jack: Nick, I lay awake last night wondering if I should just drop the whole damn thing. I have wanted answers so badly, and yet, more than one person has told me "be careful what you wish for. You may not like the answers that you find."

Nick: Makes sense. Once you know for sure.

Jack: Yeah, once you know for sure, there's no turning back.

Rey: You know J.T. Hellstrom as well as anyone. Why wouldn't I want to pick your brain?

Victor: J.T. Hellstrom worked in security, and, as such, he knows how to evade surveillance tapes, okay? And he certainly knows how to get off the grid.

Rey: That's a good point.

Victor: He eluded my investigators for months.

Rey: You must have been pretty pissed when you found out it was your own son who hacked into the newman servers, as opposed to J.T., Who you were originally led to believe. That means the trail is still cold.

Victor: Do you like to listen to yourself theorize, or are you asking me a question?

Rey: I'm just trying to get a handle on all the dynamics here. Thinking out loud helps me think. Your son and you had a very public feud, yet you still came here when he was arrested to make sure he was all right.

Victor: Nicholas is my son, and, as such, we have a very strong bond, no matter the differences. That bond cannot easily be broken.

Rey: That's nice to hear. I'm not sure a lot of fathers feel that way.

Victor: Mm.

Rey: A lot of men would leave their own families for far less.

Victor: Well, those men should not be called fathers, nor men.

Mariah: Oh, my god. Tessa, this happened here?

Tessa: Yeah. Yeah. It was super slow, and I was by myself, and the guy just jumped me.

Mariah: He? Who's he? Who did this to you?

Tessa: The people demanding money, threatening me?

Mariah: He said that to you?

Tessa: No, he didn't say a word, but I know exactly who it was and exactly what it was about. Okay? Message received. And, no, before you ask, I did not call the police. For obvious reasons. But I did see a doctor, and I'm really okay.

Mariah: Tessa, these guys are dangerous, and they are getting impatient. What if they decide to get rid of you?

Tessa: No, see, all they want is their money, and once I get it to them, this will all be over.

Mariah: Okay, fine. Well, I have a decent amount in my savings account, and --

Tessa: No. No. Mariah, I told you, we're not using your money.

Mariah: Then what can I do to help?

Tessa: Help me find a job with better pay, more hours.

Mariah: Fine. I will tell you if I hear anything.

Tessa: Okay. So, I want to make as much money as quickly as possible, so i should go back to my shift. All right, I'll see you later. Okay?

Billy: I told you that you don't have to worry about it, all right? I got a finite amount of money put aside for gambling every single month, and when that's gone, it's done. I'm very disciplined.

Phyllis: I need you to mean that.

Billy: I do mean it. It's under control. Unlike things around here.

Phyllis: What re you talking about?

Billy: [ Groans ] Well, you know, it's just, uh, with the launch coming up, things are spread a little bit thin -- marketing, legal, all that kind of stuff -- so it'd be great if fenmore's could recognize that.

Phyllis: How, exactly?

Billy: By not making any unusual demands, at least not until after the launch. And I'd appreciate it if you could talk to lauren, just, you know, get her to calm down a little bit. I don't want her to freak out over this.

Phyllis: Well, that'll be a feat, since I'm about 10 seconds away from doing that myself.

Billy: You're fine. Come on, it's -- it's fine.

Phyllis: I told you that i support you, okay? In your decision to forge ahead with these boutiques, but I am concerned about the way you are putting everything on the line.

Billy: Phyllis...

Phyllis: You are cutting into people's budgets, okay? You're alienating them personally. And you are pouring the majority of your resources into this one project. What if it doesn't pay off?

Billy: It will.

Phyllis: I need you to not lose sight of the possible consequences.

[ Cellphone chimes ]

Billy: That's my cue, I got to call somebody on the west coast, okay? Thank you for your concern, but it's gonna be fine. You'll see. We're gonna come out way ahead of where we were before. Way ahead.

Phyllis: For your sake, I sincerely hope so.

Summer: [ Sighs ]

Phyllis: It's not gonna make it get here any faster.

Summer: Gee, thanks for the tip.

Phyllis: I'm glad I ran into you. First thing tomorrow morning, i need your help to do a review of fenmore's projects. I need to see if we can trim or postpone anything. We need to put a temporary reserve on our resources.

Summer: That sounds like a blast.

Phyllis: I know that, um, you and I are not in the best place right now. But we have to still get along while we're at the office. We still have to work together.

Summer: [ Scoffs ] That's what he said, too, but i don't know how I'm supposed to.

[ Voice breaking ]

Phyllis: Who are you talking about?

Summer: Kyle. We had this massive falling out, and now he hates me, just like everybody else does.

Phyllis: No one hates you.

Summer: Don't lie.

Phyllis: I'm not. No, come on, I will take you for a drink, and you'll tell me what happened with kyle, and we can see if we can fix this.

Summer: You don't have to do that.

Phyllis: No matter what's gone down between the two of us, I'm still your mother. And if I can help, I will. Now, come on, get in here.

Lola: Next in line! You again.

Kyle: You remember me. I'm flattered.

Lola: I never forget a difficult customer.

Kyle: Promise I'll never be that guy again. I'm planning to become a regular. Your food's so fantastic, I even dream about it.

Lola: Is that right? Then, tell me, were you dreaming about having the shredded beef sandwich again, or maybe trying today's special? Pollo tropicale with yellow rice, beans, and friend plantains? 'Cause I need you to place an order before this line gets backed up.

Kyle: Chicken it is. I like the way you get right to the point. You're all about the business.

Lola: How else should it be? This is my place of business, just like that big building over there is yours.

Kyle: I'm trying to pay you a compliment. You're not making it easy.

Lola: [ Chuckles ] And you blame me?

Kyle: No, I realized I gave you a lot of attitude the other day, acted like an entitled snob. I had no right. I don't have excuses, but I am sorry about it.

Lola: Sounds like you actually mean that. Now, step aside. When your food's ready, I'll let you know. Next in line!

Nick: What's up?

Victor: I haven't seen you since the arrest. How are you doing?

Nick: I'm fine. Just doing damage control.

Victor: Mm, yeah, the media did quite a hatchet job on your new company.

Nick: Yeah. It did. Figured you were behind that. Turned me into the cops and then leaked the story.

Victor: I could see why you would think that, but I wouldn't want to do that.

Nick: Good to know. So, what is this, a well-being check?

Victor: I had a meeting with that new cop in town. What's his name, uh, rey -- rey...?

Nick: Rosales.

Victor: Oh, yeah, rosales. Yeah.

Nick: Yeah, whose idea was that?

Victor: Well, he asked me to come to the police station, you know? He wanted to find out what i knew about J.T. Hellstrom's disappearance. And how all the people involved intersected.

Nick: You didn't buy it?

Victor: No. He was on a phishing expedition. He wanted to know about our relationship.

Nick: Yeah, he made a point of asking me about you, as well.

Victor: Mm-hmm.

Nick: I think he's either intrigued by us or confused. I don't know, there's a lot of layers to get through.

Victor: That's putting it mildly, isn't it?

Nick: But as complex as our relationship is, I know it's better than what you had with your dad.

Victor: What brought up that man?

Nick: I was talking to jack yesterday about his search for his biological father, and he mentioned that sons like to compare themselves against their father, and he brought up you and albert.

Victor: Mm. Hope you told him that albert miller is not worth the breath he spent talking about him.

Nick: I wasn't that kind. Hopefully I gave jack some food for thought.

Victor: Good.

Jack: Billy!

Billy: Hey.

Jack: You got a minute for a drink, or are you here for a meeting?

Billy: Uh, no, I'm just grabbing some takeout and heading back to the office, but I'll join you for a drink.

Jack: So, don't take this the wrong way. You look a little beat.

Billy: [ Sighs ] Good eye.

Jack: So we're both having a rough day. What's going on with you?

Billy: Debating an opportunity that wouldn't make sense to anyone else, but, in my gut, feels like the right thing to do.

Jack: So, have you thought this thing through, or is this another one of your notorious impulses? On a scale of slam-dunk to "this could blow up in my face," where exactly does this opportunity fall?

Nick: You want me to hire tessa?

Mariah: She needs to make more money.

Nick: You know, I could use some help on a short-term project we're working on right now. It's pretty menial stuff, though, making deliveries to a tech company that's doing some work for us, some filing is definitely piling up. Would she be willing to work nights, even late sometimes?

Mariah: I think that she would be thrilled. When can she start, tomorrow?

Nick: How about tonight?

Mariah: That is even better. I'm gonna text her right away. Thank you so much.

Nick: Sure.

Lola: 102 and 103! Enjoy.

Thank you.

Kyle: Thanks. By the way, it's kyle. Since I'll be here a lot, you might as well know my name.

Lola: Yeah. Lola. There's another customer.

Kyle: [ Chuckles ] Sorry. I'll get out of your way. Till next time, lola.

Rey: After hearing all about your truck, I had to come see it myself.

Lola: You're just in time. I was about to close.

Rey: I'm proud of you, sis. Starting your own business, that takes guts.

Lola: That means a lot.

Rey: How'd you get the truck? It must have been expensive.

Lola: It was a hunk of junk when I bought it, which is why it was a bargain. Arturo helped me remodel it.

Rey: Is it up to code?

Lola: Yes.

Rey: And you have all the necessary permits?

Lola: Of course.

Rey: Well, I hope you're parking in safe neighborhoods and only working during daytime hours. You're all alone. You have all this cash on you --

Lola: This is why I moved in with arturo. He gives me credit that I know what I'm doing. You've always treated me like an incompetent child.

Rey: No, no, no. I was only strict because I was trying to protect you.

Lola: I was a social outcast because of your stupid rules. I've spent the last couple of years going to midnight movies and dance clubs and dating guys, doing all of the things you wouldn't let me do, and -- surprise! -- Nothing bad has happened. Now I need to close up.

Rey: Are you dating someone? Because, if you are, I would like to meet him.

Lola: Oh, my god. It's like talking into a catcher's mitt. You don't even try to listen! I'm an adult now. You need to back off.

Rey: Lola. Lola!

Billy: Thank you.

Billy: You're being a bit cagey with the details.

Billy: I don't mean to be. This opportunity might be exactly what I'm looking for.

Jack: And no one, including yourself, can get hurt?

Billy: No.

Jack: If that's the case, i say go for it. What the hell do you care what anyone else thinks?

Billy: I think that's my answer, jack.

Jack: Good.

Billy: What about you, why are you having such a rotten day?

Jack: As you know, I've been searching for my biological father, and I am at a crossroads. I don't know whether to dig deeper or just give it all up.

Billy: I understand you wanting to know your history, jack, I do, but I'm just not sure about the payoff. I mean, say you find you share dna with some stranger who's not alive anymore, or potentially didn't even know that you existed, some lowlife guy? Or flipside of that, it's a great guy, but as good as john abbott? Not possible. So, yeah, there's upside here, but I see a whole lot of potential downside.

Jack: You make a lot of sense.

Billy: Then I think you know what you need to do.

"The young and the restless"

will continue.

Tessa: So, what do you want me to do first?

Nick: Organize all these papers into files, label them, and then put them into the filing cabinet in the back.

Tessa: No problem.

Nick: If you run across a document you don't understand or you don't know what do with, just leave it on my desk. In addition, you're gonna be running a variety of hardware back and forth to a computer security firm we're doing some work with. Here's the address.

Tessa: What's wrong with your computers?

Nick: Tessa, just do the work. You don't need to know the details other than we need to remove these files from our servers.

Tessa: Okay.

Nick: Now, my cellphone number is on there, as well. If you come across a problem or anything comes up, you call me.

Tessa: I will. Good night, and, again, uh, nick, I -- I can't thank you enough. Seriously. You're saving my life.

Nick: You're gonna do great. Good luck.

Tessa: Thanks.

[ Giggles, squeals ]

[ Humming ]

Gloria: [ Sighs ]

Billy: Gloria.

Gloria: Ah! Hello. I finished everything on your list, and now I'm going home and pouring myself a big glass of wine.

Billy: I need you to take care of one thing before you take off. I'm sorry to do this.

Gloria: [ Sighs ]

Billy: This is a confidential wire transfer from the jabot account.

Gloria: To?

Billy: The transaction needs to clear by 11:00 tonight. This is the amount, and this right here is the routing number.

Gloria: Okay. And that is quite a chunk of change. Who's this going to? The fifth race at belmont?

Billy: Not remotely funny.

Gloria: It really wasn't meant to be, billy.

Billy: It's to pay off a business loan with one of our banks. The deadline crept up on me. Thank you. Have a good night.

Gloria: Okay.

[ Exhales sharply ]

Summer: I don't know, i thought that kyle and I were friends who could taunt and tease and play around, but... I don't know, it meant something different to him than it did to me.

Phyllis: He still has feelings for you.

Summer: Yeah, but how was i supposed to know that? And now he barely wants anything to do with me.

Phyllis: I'm very sorry. I know how painful this is for you. And all I can say is you have got to give it some time, you know, and you can't stop reaching out to him. Gently. And, you know, this isn't about what you want. This is about what kyle's feeling and the damage to the relationship, I mean, so just go easy. Capisce?

Summer: Right. Got it. Thanks for the drink. I should probably get going, though.

Phyllis: Hang on, hang on, hang on. I thought you were willing to take my advice.

Summer: Yeah, I was. Until I remembered who I was talking to, the woman that puts herself first always when it comes to men, who really doesn't care how she treats them.

Phyllis: I'm sorry, I'm trying to build a bridge here. That's something a lot of mothers wouldn't do to daughters who went after their boyfriends.

Summer: Oh, well, do you want a medal for that, or...?

Phyllis: Uh, I think a little cooperation would be nice. I still don't really understand why you could do what you did to me.

Summer: Mom, I --

Phyllis: No, you know what, let's talk about it. Let's talk about it because I'd like to know why.

Summer: Fine. In the beginning, it was just because I was attracted to billy. I wanted him. So I treated it like a game to see if I could make it happen.

Phyllis: [ Laughs ] Okay. Okay, that's great. So then what? What, you just keep throwing yourself at a man that I'm in love with? Why would you want to try to break us up?

Summer: Well, I didn't realize it then. Maybe I just couldn't admit it to myself, but... I just wanted to hurt you.

Jack: [ Exhales sharply ]

[ Doorbell rings ]

Victor: So, I understand that you're prying into my family business.

Jack: I'm interested in my family tree, not yours.

Victor: Cut the crap, will you? Apparently, there was a picture on gc buzz that made you think that you saw your father in it. Got news for you -- that was a picture of albert miller, my father. Now, what makes you think that you're the son of that man, based on an old photo?

Jack: A photo that was taken at the genoa city country club, where my mother claims she met the man who fathered me. All of the other candidates in that picture have been eliminated.

Victor: Oh, I see, so you're basing your ludicrous theory on nothing.

Jack: It seems like quite a coincidence to me that dina's and albert's paths crossed just when she got pregnant with me.

Victor: That's delusional thinking.

Jack: Is it? You know, one thing is clear to me. The reason you're here, the reason you're working so hard to disabuse me of this idea is that you're having a little trouble not believing it yourself.

Tessa: Hello? Anybody there?

[ Footsteps approaching ]

Tessa: I'm armed! Stay away!

Mariah: Hi.

Tessa: [ Sighs ] Woman, you scared the crap out of me! I thought you were an intruder. I was ready to attack.

Mariah: What were you gonna do, staple me to death?

Tessa: Well, I had to improvise.

Mariah: Well, I'm sorry that I spooked you.

Tessa: No, it's -- I'm, uh, just a little on edge.

Mariah: Yeah, I figured you would be anxious, working here alone, so I decided to come keep you company, and I brought supper.

Tessa: You are so sweet. It seems like I just take, take, take, and you just keep giving.

Mariah: That is not true. You give me so much.

Tessa: I do?

Mariah: Yes. You make me happy, you make me laugh, and you make me feel loved. Which means more to me than anything.

Rey: Lola! Almost didn't recognize you. I'm not used to seeing you outside your truck.

Lola: How was your dinner?

Kyle: Highlight of my day.

Lola: You gonna dream about my food again tonight?

Kyle: That depends.

Lola: On what?

Kyle: Whether you let me buy you a cup of coffee.

Lola: Coffee, no. Double espresso, however...

Kyle: A woman who knows what she wants.

Lola: [ Chuckles ]

Kyle: I like that. So, should I get it to go, or will you join me?

Lola: Depends.

Kyle: On?

Lola: Are you gonna ask me out, or what?

Phyllis: I still don't understand why you wanted to punish me. Have I ever done anything to you to justify you betraying me like that?

Summer: Not directly. But you lie and cheat and manipulate --

Phyllis: Oh, we have been over this before, summer.

Summer: It doesn't mean that it just went away. You know, every time that you do some terrible thing, it seems like you always have an explanation for it. I guess I just kind of got used to it. And you're my mom, so automatically every time I was on your side, even if I had to twist my brain in a pretzel to make it happen. And then, you know, I finally put some distance between us, and I started seeing things in a new light. And what you did to jack by sneaking around with billy is --

Phyllis: Okay, I agree with you.

Summer: Oh, yeah, I mean, I would sure hope so. And... I know that my grandpa did things that really screwed with your head. And your marriage. And you went through hell, and I felt so badly for both of you. But jack still loved you more than anything, and he was willing to do anything to make it work, and that still wasn't enough for you.

Phyllis: Our marriage was in shambles. We were both just broken people. I didn't know how to fix it.

Summer: Then you should have had the decency to walk away instead of sleeping with his brother. And now you say that billy is your one-and-only, but you cheated on him, too, and you think it's okay because you guys were "on a break?" And then you made up with him right afterwards? Mom, you need to wake up because it is not okay. You constantly trash people's hearts, and you are always hurting everyone around you. I don't --

Phyllis: I seriously had no idea that you had all this pent-up anger and resentment towards me. Do you still love me?

Summer: You're my mom. Yes, I still love you. But I don't think that our relationship is ever gonna be the same again.

Kyle: I was working up to asking you out. I wanted to savor the anticipation.

Lola: Well, you don't want to wait too long, do you?

Kyle: Would you like to go on a date with me?

Lola: Let me get back to you.

Kyle: Is that a yes?

Lola: What do you think?

Kyle: Give your number. I'll type it into my contacts.

Lola: I'll think about where I want to go, text you a couple ideas. Am I being too pushy?

Kyle: No way. I'd much rather take you to some place you want to be. Guarantees our evening will start out right.

Lola: Thanks again for the espresso. I'll look forward to our date.

Gloria: Hey! Wire transfer went through.

Billy: Wonderful. Thank you, thank you very, very much. Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Gloria: Oh, I intend to, and hopefully next time, something this important, you won't wait till the last minute.

Billy: You don't have to worry about that. There's not gonna be a next time.

Gloria: Okay. Good night, boss.

Billy: Night!

Phyllis: You were right before. Things will never be the same between us. But I don't want them to be. I -- honey, I want them to be better. I really do. I really want us to find a way to forgive each other and move on.

Summer: You really think that that's possible?

Phyllis: I do. I do. It's gonna take some time because I think the two of us have some serious baggage. But the way we begin to forgive each other, it starts with honesty and understanding. And I think this is the most real conversation we've had since you've been back, and I appreciate that. I know it's been difficult, but I feel like this is a step forward. I think this is a good step, and I'm really grateful for that. Thank you.

Victor: [ Chuckles ] You must despise the idea that you and i are related as much as I do.

Jack: As you're so fond of saying, "you got that right."

Victor: Mm-hmm. So then why are you pursuing this, hmm? You trying to claim a stake in my company? I built that company from the ground up. Albert miller had nothing to do with it. And the last thing I will ever do is allow you to claim another stake in newman enterprises.

Jack: I am merely looking for the truth. This is where the truth led me.

Victor: Really? You wouldn't know the truth if it bit you in the ass.

Jack: You know what, I was just gonna drop this, forget all about it. Now I have reconsidered. Judging from your reaction, I guess I'm on the right path.

Victor: Albert miller is burning in hell, and I will ask the devil to turn up the flames. You do not take one step closer to my legacy, to my family.

Jack: Just try and stop me.
