Episode #11446 ~ Victor prepares for a showdown with J.T.; Jill returns home.

Devon: I don't have time to get into this right now because nate and I have to take off.

Nate: Sounds important, man. Take all the time you need.

Lily: No, it is important. I mean, tell me what kind of reservations you're having about the server farm deal, because the way I see it, dad knocked it out of the park on this one.

Devon: Yeah, I agree that the deal with a great coup for hamilton-winters.

Nate: Then what's the problem?

Devon: The problem is how the deal went down. Because it can be perceived that we swooped in and made this happen with insider information.

Nate: How so?

Devon: Well, the company was planning on ending things with newman enterprises, who used to be our pr client.

Lily: Until dad brokered the deal and ticked off victor.

Nate: Sticky.

Devon: It could be.

Lily: Well, from what dad told me, digi-real was planning on severing ties with newman no matter what because of all the recent scandal over there. So all dad did was take advantage of a great business opportunity.

Devon: Yeah, but it's still shady. Because when neil offered to replace newman enterprises as their client, the digi-real people were all over it, but would they have abandoned newman as quickly if they didn't already have a place to land?

Nate: So this is all about loyalty for you.

Devon: Yeah. It is.

Lily: Well, I think your loyalty is misplaced. If the roles were reversed, victor would jump at the chance to steal something from hamilton-winters. This is business. It's not an ethical dilemma.

Hilary: You are such a hypocrite.

Mariah: And we're off.

Devon: Hilary.

Hilary: No, you are always preaching about taking the moral high ground, and now devon is trying to do the right thing, and you're against him. Well, I agree with him 100%.

Nate: For what it's worth, i agree with lily.

Hilary: Well, you have no say in the matter.

Lily: Neither do you.

Nate: Wait.

Hilary: Where the hell do you get off telling me what I can and cannot say?

Lily: Your input is not warranted or in any way relevant.

Hilary: [ Scoffs ] Well, unlike your cousin, I actually work here.

Lily: Unlike him, you're not family. I'm on the board, you're not, and you're not even devon's wife.

Jill: Hello, nikki.

Nikki: Hello, jill. I was going to call you about that monstrosity that you had installed in the park without my permission.

Jill: Oh, now, see, why doesn't it surprise me that you have no appreciation for fine art? Do you know how much I paid for that sculpture?

Nikki: Jill, just because something is expensive doesn't mean it's art.

Jill: Yeah, and just because you married a wealthy man doesn't mean you have taste.

Jack: Can we agree to disagree?

Jill: [ Chuckles ]

Nikki: Yeah, I think I can do that. As long as it never happens again.

Jill: Well, now, I'm not making any promises.

Nikki: What are you doing in town anyway?

Jill: I'm here to deal with this one's son digging up phillip's grave.

Nikki: Kyle dug up...

Jack: It's a long story.

Jill: Yes, and no amount of spin is gonna make it any less offensive. But, please, feel free to try.

Jack: My mother claims to have had an affair with phillip chancellor and that he is my biological father.

Nikki: Really? Well, if that's true, that must give jack some rights to chancellor industries.

Jill: You are as clueless about business as you are about art.

Nikki: Maybe so, but I knew katherine very well, and she adored jack. She certainly would have willed the company to him, had she any idea that he were phillip's son.

Jill: No. Even if the dna were a match, which I doubt, katherine bequeathed chancellor to victor, and victor sold it to me. So, you see, jack and kyle would be owed nothing.

Jack: Well, we're just getting away ahead of ourselves. Nothing has been proved. I am still a man without a country, or a last name.

[ Cellphone chimes ]

Nikki: Oh, my god!

Jack: Are you all right?

Nikki: I have to go.

Jill: Wow. Hope it's something I said.

Lily: You know, now that you're pregnant...

Hilary: What does that have to do with anything?

Lily: ...You should really be thinking about what's best for hamilton-winters and the next generation, and that includes charlie, mattie, moses, and way down the line, sam.

Hilary: Uh, you forgot about my baby, who will just as much a factor, and I want us to have an ethical reputation.

Lily: [ Laughs ] Says the woman who built her show around tabloid sleaze.

Hilary: "The hilary hour" has changed, if you haven't noticed, and we are a bigger, better show now.

Lily: Oh, bigger, yes. Better? Yeah, no.

Hilary: [ Chuckles ] You're just annoyed because devon doesn't agree with you and i agree with him. Well, you are just gonna have to suck it up because if devon has reservations, so do I.

Devon: Okay, let's drop the debate for now.

Hilary: No, she's just --

Lily: She insists on having an opinion about this...

Devon: Guys, it was a great discussion. It gave me a lot to think about.

Hilary: [ Scoffs ]

[ Cellphone chimes ]

Hilary: Is that neil?

Devon: No, it's from security on the rooftop saying that equipment was stolen from gc buzz.

Hilary: What? How much?

Mariah: When did this happen?

Devon: It must have just happened.

Hilary: Okay, well, I better get up there.

Devon: No, you should stay here, keep a low profile. Um, would you guys mind checking it out?

Tessa: Yeah, sure.

Devon: Thanks, just report on whatever's missing.

Tessa: Okay.

Mariah: Wait, can tessa go alone? I was really hoping to watch the second act of "the hilary and lily show." No? Okay. Never mind. Bye.

Devon: Thanks.

Nikki: What was your father thinking, to go who-knows-where to take on J.T. Without any backup?

Victoria: I know. I tried my best to convince him otherwise, but you know stubborn he can be.

Nikki: [ Sighs ] Better than anyone.

Victoria: Mom, he's not 100%.

Nikki: I know that. I have noticed things -- I mean, just little things. His coordination, his memory. I know he does not want to admit it, but he has not fully recovered from the last fight he had with J.T.

Victoria: So he's in no shape to...

Nikki: To get in the middle of a physical altercation? Absolutely not. If J.T. Doesn't kill victor, his body could just give out on him.

Tessa: So how do we determine what's missing?

Mariah: We find the security guard, I guess. Do you know his name, the one that called devon?

Tessa: Uh, no, I don't know, but I'll text him.

Mariah: Okay, while you're doing that, I'm gonna do a spot check.

[ Sighs ]

Tessa: Can you -- can you tell what's missing?

Mariah: No, I can'T. This is nuts. I mean, we have a technical support guy who should be doing this, not us. And if you reach devon, can you please tell him that?

Tessa: Yeah. Oh, wait, hey! There's a security guard right there.

Mariah: Okay, let's see if he knows anybody that reported a robbery.

Kyle: Did I hear you guys mention a robbery?

Tessa: Uh, yeah, we're trying to talk to security.

Kyle: Well, before you go and confuse that guy, I should tell you there is no robbery.

Tessa: But devon --

Kyle: He's in on my plan.

Mariah: What plan is that, exactly?

Kyle: Trust me.

Mariah: Is there another option?

Kyle: Walk this way, please.

Kyle: Reserved for you.

Tessa: Okay, I don't get it. So you and devon made a plan for us to watch a movie under the stars?

Kyle: A horror movie classic, "it came from beneath the sea." I've seen it. It's good. And an excellent example of sci-fi horror genre. It's pretty scary, too. You might need a hand to hold during the scary parts...

Mariah: Kyle, what are you doing?

Kyle: I've already arranged for wine and popcorn.

Mariah: Okay, I --

Kyle: Enjoy.

Mariah: [ Scoffs ]

Tessa: Well, uh, looks like we've been set up.

Mariah: Yeah. In more ways than one.

Jill: Would you mind telling me what just happened?

Jack: I just gave you some tea. Uh, this is when you say "thank you."

Jill: No, no, no. I'm talking about why did mrs. Martinez have to let you in? Did you lose your key?

Jack: I don't live here anymore.

Jill: So if I hadn't left my car here and wanted tea...

Jack: I wouldn't have had to make that particular admission.

Jill: [ Sighs ] Why'd you move out, jack?

Jack: When I found out I was no longer john abbott's son, I... I couldn't make sense of living in the abbott family house.

Victoria: There's no need for you to come down and wait in my office with us, but, abby, if you hear anything from him... I'll do the same. Yes, I'll let you know if I have any news about dad and J.T.

[ Sighs ]

Nick: Hey, mom. What's up?

Nikki: Hi, sweetheart. You're on speakerphone. I'm here with your sister.

Victoria: Hi, nick.

Nick: What's going on?

Nikki: We are very worried about your father.

Victoria: Dad told me that he got a text message from J.T. to meet him tonight.

Nikki: And he's insisting on going alone.

Nick: Of course he did.

Nikki: Did you hear anything about it? Did he happen to mention where this meeting is taking place?

Nick: Well, dad and I aren't exactly close these days.

Victoria: We knew it was a

long shot.

Nikki: What about paul? Maybe paul mentioned something to you about J.T. Being seen in town...

Nick: No, nothing. Have you called the police?

Nikki: No. We haven'T. But your sister and I agree, we have no choice now.

Victoria: Dad made me promise

I wouldn't get the gcpd

involved.

Nikki: And even though we don't exactly trust paul these days, I... I think it's better to risk his involvement than... well, if J.T. Attacks your father, either one of them could end up dead.

Nick: All right, look, why

don't you just let me call

paul?

Victoria: You'd do that?

Nick: Yeah, you know. That way, you can keep your promise, and if this turns out to be nothing, you know, dad's already mad at me.

Nikki: [ Sighs ] Thank you, nicholas.

Nick: Yeah. I'll call you if I hear anything.

Victoria: It's urgent, nick.

The last time I saw J.T... there's just not telling what he might do.

Tessa:

Well, now that we know we've been brought here under false pretenses, I'll understand if you want to go.

Mariah: Um, I don't know.

Tessa: I mean, the weather's nice, and an outdoor movie sounds fun. Especially a classic sci-fi.

Mariah: Yeah, there's wine and popcorn.

Tessa: Is that a yes?

Mariah: That means I'll stay if you will.

Tessa: I will.

Mariah: Okay.

Kyle: Hi.

Jack: Hi.

Kyle: I'm kind of surprised you're both still here. Is that a good thing?

Jack: It is a tentative thing. The, uh, situation has de-escalated.

Jill: Somewhat. Somewhat.

Jack: We had a little apology drink at the club, and I brought jill back to pick up her car.

Jill: Just before I leave, i want to tell you something. You are one extremely lucky boy to have such a persuasive father. Kyle, I've decided to let you off the hook for your grave invasion.

Kyle: I can't thank you enough.

Jill: [ Chuckles ] Thank him.

Kyle: I'll do that.

Jack: Shall we?

Jill: We shall.

[ Doorbell rings ]

Jack: Hi, can I help you?

Delivery for kyle abbott.

Kyle: Yeah, that's me.

I'll need to see some id, please.

Kyle: Yeah, of course.

I know it seems like overkill.

Kyle: It's okay.

The lab's really particular about dna results.

Jill: What the hell?!

Victoria: Here you go. Maybe this will help settle your nerves.

Nikki: Oh, thank you, sweetheart. I'm surprised we haven't heard anything from the police.

Victoria: Okay, let's just give it a few minutes, and then we'll check in with nick. I wonder how paul is taking the news that dad is meeting with J.T. In person.

Nikki: Oh, I'm sure he alerted the entire force to be on the lookout. The thing is, this meeting could be anywhere. Hi, it's me. I'm with victoria, and we are both sick with worry about this meeting with J.T. Please call me. [ Sighs ]

Victoria: What if dad didn't take his cellphone with him?

Nikki: Well, we have to pray that he did. And maybe the police can track him and find out his location. Please, god, don't let it be too late.

Victor: I've been waiting for this moment. Time to end this.

Mariah: Wow, it feels like there's a neon sign over our heads that's telling the world that we're more than friends.

Ashley: What?

Sharon: We just sit here and wait. Meanwhile, J.T. Could be telling victor everything about that night.

Victor: You're a coward, hiding in shadows. Now the tables have turned.
