Episode #11323 ~ Cane and Lily reflect on their past; Hilary has baby fever; Dina makes a confession.

Provided By Suzanne

Previously on "the young and the restless"...

Tessa: Devon's coming back tonight, and he's hoping for a song.

Mariah: I'm sure you will come up with something worth listening to.

Sharon: You actually got a journal?

Mariah: I did, and I've managed to fill up a decent chunk of it.

Cane: I want you. Do you still want me?

Jack: He knows he's about to lose everything.

Ashley: Unless....

Jack: Exactly.

Dina: Get away from me! Stop it! Stop it!

Graham: [ Grunts ]

Dina: [ Gasps ]

Ashley: [ Gasps ]

Jack: Mom?

Ashley: Check the bathroom, jack.

Jack: Mom! No sign of dina. Is he --

Ashley: I can't find a pulse.

Jack: What the devil happened here?

Ashley: We need to keep him alive so we can find out.

Jack: Yes, my name is jack abbott. I am at the genoa city athletic club on the seventh floor in room 703. There is man down, no pulse. He has a needle sticking out of his arm.

Esther: [ Sighs ] What are you doing here?

Hilary: Hello, esther. I just came to grab a few minutes with cane.

Esther: Well, if you have to know, cane's in paris.

Hilary: Oh. On business?

Esther: Well, I really don't see what concern that is of yours.

Hilary: Cane is my friend.

Esther: You don't have friends.

Hilary: [ Sighs ] Well, since sam was born, cane and I, we've become quite close.

Esther: And yet, you didn't even know he was out of the country.

[ Sam cooing, gurgling ]

Esther: Oh! Oh, gosh. That's sam. I got to go get him, so you just see yourself out, okay?

Lily: Being here, together like this, it feels so familiar.

Cane: It's like we're starting all over again.

Lily: Because we are.

Cane: I want to apologize. I didn't bring you a gift. I -- I didn't know I was supposed to.

Lily: [ Chuckles ] It's okay. I didn't get you one, either, so...

[ Chuckles ] But, you know what, I'll, uh... I'll settle for a kiss. You know about your idea of taking me to all our favorite places...?

Cane: Mm-hmm.

Lily: I was thinking...

Cane: Tomorrow?

Lily: Yes. You read my mind. Because right now, I am starved.

Cane: Me, too.

Lily: Should we order room service, or go somewhere?

Cane: Hmm. I'm thinking we should stay in. Because we've always managed to turn any little place we fancy into our own little special slice of paris. Even if we couldn't actually be here.

Lily: Welcome to paris. To the georges V.

Cane: It's amazing. And then you said...

Lily: Tu me touches au coeur.

Cane: You know, it just does it to me every time you say that.

Lily: Do you remember what it means?

Cane: Wait, no, let me figure it out. Coeur, as in sacre coeur. That's a church, right?

Lily: Mm-hmm.

Cane: And that means "sacred heart." You said something about your heart.

Lily: That you touch it, deeply. J'ai envie de toi.

Cane: Whatever you said goes for me, too.

Lily: I said that I want you.

Cane: Of course I remember. I remember everything.

Mariah: Hey, have you seen my journal? I was sure that I left it in my bag, but it's gone.

Sharon: No. I haven't seen it. But if I do, I'll be sure to set it aside for you, someplace safe.

Mariah: Okay, uh, I'm just starting to get a little freaked out because I wrote a lot of... personal stuff in there that i wouldn't want anyone to read.

Sharon: I get it. Some things are meant for us and us alone.

Tessa: [ Vocalizes ] Okay, um...

gave my heart and all I had to you

gave you love, now everything is blue

now we can't be friends

so what do I do? Yeah. That's really good.

Devon: Hey.

Tessa: Uh, hi!

Devon: How is it going in here?

Tessa: Okay. I'm making progress.

Devon: I'd love to hear what you have so far.

Tessa: Uh, you know, uh, I'd like to hold off until it's finished. You know, just so I can give you the full effect.

Devon: You don't like being creative on demand? Just the wave magic wand, and -- poof! -- "Here's a hit song, devon."

Tessa: I don't mind having you light a fire under me. I'm just working on the bridge. I'm -- I'm looking for a killer hook that will just reach out and grab you.

Devon: Well, hey, songwriting is very difficult, you know? Even people who have been at it for decades still struggle sometimes.

Tessa: Well, I wouldn't say I'm struggling. The lyrics have already come to me. From the heart, you could say.

Jack: His name is graham bloodworth. He's been in and out of town the last few months.

How well do you know him?

Jack: We're not close.

Any idea what's on the syringe?

Jack: We came here hoping to find someone else.

Ashley: It could be an aldehyde. It's used when you make perfume. I'm a cosmetics chemist. There's a strong possibility that he stole it from my lab.

You think it was a suicide attempt?

Jack: We believe he may have intended to harm the person we came here to find.

Ashley: We have to find out what happened. Is he gonna be okay?

Sorry, I can't say yet. I need to take him to the E.R.

Ashley: Jack. Where's dina?

Jack: Some part of me wants to think she turned the tables on that rat.

Ashley: How likely do you think that was?

Jack: Not very.

Ashley: What happens if this was part of graham's master plan, and we just played right into his hand?

Tessa: I'm happy with the melody, but the chorus, I mean, it's just always the hardest part for me. I mean, you need to find the right hook to make people want to sing along. Make that have to sing along.

Devon: Yeah.

Tessa: You know, like, uh...

Devon: Yeah, like an earworm.

Tessa: Right. Yeah.

Devon: Well, I know that every artist has their own process.

Tessa: Mm-hmm, and that's mine. I mean, lyrics first, and then melody. I mean, that's just how I've always done it. I rarely do it the other way around.

Devon: That's fine.

Tessa: Yeah.

Devon: That's totally fine. And I don't mean to make you feel defensive, if I have.

Tessa: Why, do I seem like i have a problem?

Devon: No, I -- I think you just are feeling the pressure I put on you to write a hit song in a short amount of time, and, you know, as much as I don't want you to have to feel that pressure, it is the nature of the industry because there's only so much funding that we have to spend on recording and marketing.

Tessa: Yeah, I'm aware of that.

Devon: And in an ideal world, we'd have artists in three phases simultaneously, where you would be working on a new hit song, you'd have one just now hitting the stream, and another one slowly fading out.

Tessa: Yeah, yeah. Like an assembly line. Got it.

Devon: Well, yeah, I hate to have to refer to it like that, but it is called the music business.

Tessa: Yeah, I mean, for a reason, you know? It is a business. All about profit. I mean, without money coming in, music's just a hobby.

Devon: Yeah. And I know that you want it to be your livelihood. I want that for you, too. That's why I gave you this shot, because I think that you're very, very talented.

Tessa: Thank you.

Devon: Um... but I do want to be honest with you, I have been hearing pitches from other songwriters, some of which are very --

Tessa: Devon, thank you for being straight with me, but...

Devon: Hang on. Let me finish first. Yes, there is some competition, but I want to give you the best chance to succeed. And, you know, I've -- I've produced a decent amount of songs in my time, and I'd like to think that I can hear when something has possibilities, so how about you play me what you have so far, and then I can give you some constructive advice?

Tessa: I appreciate that, but I'm just really in the zone with songwriting, so I would just like to finish.

Devon: Okay. Well, if it gets to be too much, just tell me, and I'll move on and take the pressure off you.

Tessa: You'll have a song by today. I give you my word.

Esther: My little guy. Did you have a good nap? Oh, I bet you did. Yes, you did. Ugh. I thought you left.

Hilary: Well, I figured since I'm here, I would say hi to sam. Hello, my precious.

Esther: I don't think that cane wants him having a lot of visitors while he's away.

Hilary: And by "a lot of visitors," you mean me?

Esther: Well, I don't know, you might have a hidden camera. Is sam gonna end up on that awful show of yours like poor victoria did that time?

Hilary: Esther, are you feeling okay? You're not normally this cranky.

Esther: Sure, I am. With certain people.

Hilary: Oh, come on. I know you have eyes. I've been cane's biggest supporter through all of this. When cane found out that sam was coming home for new year's, i was the one he called.

Esther: And lily has been just as supportive. She donated blood for sam's surgery, and how many women in her place would do that?

Hilary: I don't know, esther. It's a baby. Most of them.

Esther: Well, cane and lily are getting back together. At least that's what I hope they're doing in paris.

Hilary: Is that why he went?

Esther: Yeah, and then soon, lily will be taking care of this sweet little baby with her husband.

Hilary: Nothing would make me happier.

Esther: [ Sneezes ]

Hilary: Esther, are you sick? Put the baby down, okay? He can't be around your germs. He has a developing immune system.

Esther: I made an appointment with my herbalist. I just can't afford to get sick. Not with taking care of a newborn. There you go.

Hilary: Well, when is this appointment?

Esther: In half an hour. The nanny's parents came into town, so I told her I would handle things here. I thought I would just bundle him up and take him with me.

Hilary: No, no. That doesn't make any sense. Just leave him with me. I'll watch him.

Esther: But don't you have to work? It could be quite a while.

Hilary: That show's in the can. I happen to be all free.

Esther: What do you know about taking care of a newborn?

Hilary: Oh, please. I've spent so much time helping cane, I'm practically a pro.

Esther: That's what worries me.

Hilary: If you think you have something to be concerned about, you don'T. I have no designs on cane, and lily knows that. In fact, I'm the one that told her that she needs to be upfront with her feelings.

Esther: Darn. I -- I just have enough time to make you a list.

Hilary: Go. No. I don't need it. Esther, listen to me. Don't worry, okay? I got this.

Cane: Madame.

Lily: Mm, merci beaucoup.

Cane: You know, I'm thinking we should order some wine to celebrate.

Lily: Champagne?

Cane: Well, of course. We're in paris.

Lily: And we should get some strawberries and whipped cream.

Cane: I love the way you think, mrs. Ashby.

Cane: Welcome.

Lily: [ Gasps ] What are you doing here?

Cane: Well, you told me this is the place where you got your answers, and this is where your mother loved. So I thought this would be the ideal spot. Will you marry me? You know, I understand now, in a deeper way, what keeps us together.

Lily: Mm, habit?

Cane: No. It's you. Because you are the love of my life. Come here, baby, I'm carrying you across the threshold.

Lily: What? No. We're not even married yet.

Cane: And that is why I am gonna use the "new house" carry and not the "we are married" carry.

Lily: Uh, I think this is the "you're crazy" carry.

Cane: Are you ready? You ready? You ready?

Lily: Yes. Okay. Oh, my god. Whoo!

[ Squealing ] Stop! Stop! Put me down! Put me down! I'm getting dizzy. Please, stop. Don'T. [ Giggles ]

Cane: No, I'm keeping you.

Lily: No, I'm keeping you.

Cane: Yeah?

Lily: Yeah.

Cane: Yeah?

Lily: So many beautiful memories, so much love. How could it have gone so wrong?

Phyllis: Is this...?

Hilary: Sam ashby, the most perfect man. He won't lie or cheat or talk smack about you. As long as you give him his bottle on time.

Phyllis: [ Giggles ] How'd you get roped into babysitting?

Hilary: Oh, sweetie, are you... oh, I think he's a little too hot. There you go.

Phyllis: Look at you. Oh, he's fine. He's fine. I'm very impressed. I wouldn't have thought you'd know one end of a baby from the other.

Hilary: Gee, thanks.

Phyllis: I'm -- I'm just... oh, I don't know, I'm not criticizing, I'm just stating a fact, you know? I mean, having kids isn't for everyone. I can't imagine going through it again myself. But look at you, little guy. You are awfully, awfully, sweet. Look at those beautiful eyes, just taking it all in.

Hilary: What was it like?

Jack: [ Exhales sharply ] We have to find mother before the police do.

Ashley: I wish we'd just told them everything. When we talk to them, they're gonna figure it out soon enough.

Jack: Yeah, assuming graham lives. Come on.

Phyllis: Having a baby changed everything. Suddenly, you're responsible for this little person that you brought into the world, this helpless, trusting human. I mean, nothing can prepare you for it. And you just -- you share this incredible bond, you love them so fiercely. It's like you never knew what love was until the moment you hold them in your arms for the first time. It just -- it feels sacred. And you learn other things, too, like how a shower can become a reward. And how you get a little more demented the more sleep you lose.

[ Both laugh ]

Hilary: You're exaggerating.

Phyllis: Life with a newborn? I am not gonna lie to you, it is tough. But I am so grateful that I had the experience.

[ Door opens ]

Paul: If those are the ballistic reports, kaminsky, just leave them on the desk.

Dina: I'm not kaminsky.

Paul: Dina. This is a surprise. Is someone with you?

Dina: Not at the moment, officer.

Paul: Are you all right? Why are you here?

Dina: I'm here to turn myself in. For the murder of brent davis.

[ Cellphone rings ]

Devon: Hey, what's up?

Tessa: It's about the song.

Devon: Listen, tessa, if it's not coming along as fast as you'd hoped, it's --

Tessa: No, I'm done. I'm ready for you to hear it.

Devon: Oh! Wow. Okay, hey, um, you know what, e-mail me a demo of it, and then I'll take a listen and give you my feedback.

Tessa: Well, I'd rather play it for you in person, if that works.

Devon: Uh --

[ Exhales sharply ] Yeah. All right. I will, uh -- I'll push back my next meeting. I'll head over right now.

Tessa: I'll be waiting.

Devon: All right. You looking for something?

Mariah: Uh, yeah. Hi.

Devon: Hi. Can I help you find it? What are you looking for?

Mariah: Um, you know what, it's nothing. It's nothing. I'm sure I'll find it. How's the music going? I know that, uh, the last time we talked, you were trying to shake things up.

Devon: Yeah, I was just about to head out and listen to a new demo. Would you like to join me? Because I'd love to get your opinion on it.

Mariah: Me?

Devon: Yes.

Mariah: Um, you know what, why not? I have the day off, so, uh... who's the artist?

Devon: You might have heard of her. Her name's tessa. She just finished a song.

Mariah: Oh! Wow.

Devon: Yeah.

Mariah: Um, you know what, now that I just remembered, i promised sharon that I would help do inventory, and, uh, so I -- I got to do that. Oops.

Devon: Okay. It's a pity. Well, next time?

Mariah: Yeah. Definitely.

Devon: Okay.

Mariah: Um, you know what, tell tessa that I hope it's a huge hit. For you, too.

Devon: Thanks.

Cane: How about, um, some dessert? Would you like to share something? Maybe a creme brulée or...?

Lily: I ruined everything.

Cane: Hey. Hey. Don't say that.

Lily: No, we were having such a good time. I had to open my big mouth and spoil it. I'm sorry.

Cane: You don't have to be sorry for anything, all right? You don't have to apologize. But as -- as beautiful and perfect that all of this is, you know we have a different reality waiting for us when we get back to genoa city.

Lily: I don't want to just go home and hope that things will be different. I've done that before. I'm sorry.

Cane: Hey. Hey. What are you sorry for? What are you sorry for?

Lily: I can't have children.

Cane: You. You are the only thing that matters to me. And all I care about is that you're gonna be okay.

Lily: [ Scoffs ] How can I be?

Cane: Because I saw your doctor out in the hallway, and I believe -- I truly believe that the eggs are a sign that not only are you gonna beat this cancer, but one day you're gonna have those kids that you want.

Lily: Eggs...?

Cane: Yeah, the oncologist knew how much it would mean to you if you could harvest some eggs, and it just turns out during the surgery you were ovulating. So they managed to remove and freeze two eggs. I thought the doctor told your dad, and your dad told you.

Lily: [ Sighs ] I thought I was dreaming.

Cane: Sweetheart. That wasn't a dream. It's true. The eggs have been removed, and they're frozen and they're stored. And they're waiting for you now. They're waiting for you when the time is right.

Lily: So then there's still a chance? I wasn't just talking about us having a baby. I meant a chance for us, too. Because I wasn't sure then, and I need to be now. I don't know if we can survive something like this again.

Jack: Wait, how long has dina been here?

Ashley: Is she all right?

Paul: She's with an officer getting some tea.

Jack: How did she get here? Has she spoken to you?

Paul: She came in to confess to murder. Not that I took any of her claims seriously because brent davis has been dead for years. But then I heard that you found graham bloodworth in his hotel room with a syringe sticking out of his arm.

Ashley: We thought that he was gonna do harm to our mother. When we got --

Jack: I want to get my mother and take her home.

Paul: I still have questions.

Jack: As you know, she's not a terribly reliable witness.

Ashley: And you can't possibly hold her responsible for what happened to graham.

Jack: Not that she did anything at all.

Paul: It's not your mother that I'm interested in. It's you. Hot pockets.

Ashley: My fingerprints?

Paul: We have them on file. We ran them against the prints we found on the syringe.

Ashley: You can't possibly think that I'm responsible for this. It was my lab that was broken into. Chemicals were stolen.

Jack: Graham was planning on cashing in on dina. Michael headed him off at the pass. He was in the process of having their marriage annulled, any powers of attorney declared null and void, and having graham disinherited. The only way that snake would get my mother's money is if dina died before the court date.

Ashley: If anybody had incentive...

Jack: Like several hundred million, in fact.

Paul: Okay. I'm still not getting the --

Ashley: You need more? Okay, the last time I saw graham, he made a big deal out of being diabetic, but it was the first I'd ever heard of it.

Jack: We never saw one sign of him being a diabetic.

Ashley: Jack. He asked me to hand him a syringe so he could inject himself with insulin! It didn't dawn on me at the time, but obviously that's how he got my fingerprints, paul.

Paul: Okay, I am hearing a lot of theories and conjecture. But your fingerprints matched the ones found on the syringe, and you have admitted time and time again that you have plenty of motive wanting to stop graham and get him out of the picture.

[ Cellphone rings ]

Jack: Hello? Jack abbott. When? Uh, thank you for calling me. We have to get to the hospital. All of us. Including dina.

Devon: Hey, hey.

Tessa: That was quick.

Devon: Well, I'm very excited to hear what you've come up with. Is there anything you want to tell me about the song first? Any kind of setup, or...?

Tessa: I'll let it speak for itself.

Sharon: You know, it's so rare that you get a day off work. There must be other things you'd rather be doing.

Mariah: Not really.

Sharon: Do you want to talk? Okay, well, if you change your mind...

Mariah: I know.

Phyllis: The fact that I had summer was a bona fide miracle.

Hilary: Really?

Phyllis: Yeah. When jack and I were married -- the first time -- I had an ectopic pregnancy.

Hilary: [ Sighs ]

Phyllis: When I came out of surgery, they told me that i would never be able to have children again.

Hilary: [ Sighs ] You must have devastated.

Phyllis: Well, I refused to accept it. I've never been very good at taking no for an answer.

Hilary: Something that you and I have in common.

Phyllis: I took the fertility drugs, but they made me so sick, I had to stop. When I finally gave up, along came summer.

Hilary: Wow.

Phyllis: They told me that i could never carry a baby to term, and somehow I did. And she was happy and healthy and, for that, I am grateful every day.

Hilary: Sounds like you went through a lot to get to that outcome.

Phyllis: Yep. It was a struggle.

Hilary: But it was worth it. Right?

[ Cellphone rings ] Ugh, I know exactly who this is. Just give me a second.

Phyllis: Sure.

Hilary: [ Sighs ] Hi, esther. Are you feeling bet-- no, I -- I'm at crimson lights. I just -- I just came to grab a coffee. I didn't think it was that big of a deal. Okay. Okay. I'm coming home now. Gosh!

Phyllis: The wrath of esther?

Hilary: [ Scoffs ] That woman, I swear...

Phyllis: Well, this was very nice.

Hilary: It was. We have to do it again very soon.

Phyllis: On purpose next time, okay?

Oh! What a lovely baby you have.

Cane: If you had to do it over again...

Lily: "It?"

Cane: Yeah. Our marriage. Our life together. What would you do different? I get it now, this is gonna be great. This is "laugh at the aussie" while I fall on my butt, while you, the dancer, is gonna be doing triple lutzes.

Lily: Oh, please. Listen. I'm -- I'm not that good, okay? I'm better than you, but I'm not that good. But I will teach you.

Cane: Wait, wait, wait, wait. Is that code for, like, you're gonna point at me and laugh at me then run away? What?

Lily: I won't leave your side, okay? Now, come on, big guy. Easy.

Cane: Ready? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

Lily: Whoa! Geez! [ Laughs ]

Cane: Who invented this? That's what I want to know.

Lily: Listen, you just got to push off, and glide, okay? Just push off. Just glide. I'd like to spend more days like that -- no phones, no computers.

Cane: I'm with you.

Lily: So, then charlie drops his cookie...

Cane: Mm-hmm.

Lily: ...And humphrey eats it, and then of course he starts crying, so mattie comes over and she pats him on the back and she goes, "it's okay, cha-wee."

[ Both chuckle ]

Cane: I love those babies.

Lily: I know, right? They're so cute, I can't even take it.

Cane: Yeah, they take after their mommy.

Lily: After their daddy. I am gonna throw these away.

Cane: Wanna go for a walk?

Lily: [ Laughs ]

Cane: Oh, whoa, whoa. No, you are gonna get it.

Lily: No, no! Stop! Stop it! Stop hitting hard! [ Laughs ]

Cane: How did you know i needed this?

Lily: Well, I knew that you were stressed out about your mom, and this would help take your mind off of it.

Cane: You're a good person, you know that? You're a caring person. You care for the babies, you care for me, you care for our family. And I think god every day that you could find it in your heart to trust me again.

Lily: I'm sorry it took me as long as it did.

Cane: It's okay. But you know what, there are a few lessons I learned. Like never to take any time with you for granted. So... come here. Sit down.

[ Clears throat ]

Lily: What are you doing?

Cane: Lily winters-ashby, will you marry me again? But I did. I took you for granted. And because of that, I almost lost you for good.

Lily: What are you doing here?

Cane: What, you mean besides looking at my wife in another man's bed?

Lily: I hated what I did. I hated how much I hurt you.

Cane: Look, I want to talk to you.

Lily: No, it's fine. I know that you're not ready to come home, so...

Cane: All right, listen.

Lily: Cane, it's fine. I -- I get that you don't still completely trust me.

Cane: Happy belated anniversary, sweetheart.

Lily: And still, you were able to forgive me.

Cane: You're not a selfish, uncaring person. You know, it's not like you woke up one day and said you're gonna have an affair. You know, it's like we just... let things get away from us.

Lily: Why? If we love each other so much.

Cane: Because we let other things become more important. We try to get ahead and settle scores and prove things... right now, I don't even know what I was trying to prove. It's ridiculous when I look at the life that I have.

Lily: We have everything we need. Except for the twins, of course.

Cane: Yes, we do. So I think they will be here soon, so we should enjoy this down time until they get here.

Lily: [ Sighs ] Come here! Wait! Cane! We can't sit here. I mean, look at all this stuff we have to put away. We have to get this place ready for our kids.

Cane: Did you just say "our kids?"

Lily: Yes.

Cane: Do you know that they are the two most beautiful words I've ever heard you say, hmm?

Lily: You're a wonderful father. And that's saying a lot given the role model you have.

Cane: Yeah. But it's not just the twins now, is it?

Lily: Sam.

Cane: You have been wonderful with him. But we haven't talked about what any of this means long-term. So if you can be honest with me, and be honest with yourself, if you need to take some time because you're not sure, that's okay. But can you accept sam to be part of our family?

Lily: He's innocent in all of this, and he deserves all of our love. Hi, I'm mike ditka.

Tessa: Saw myself through your eyes

oh, the world's a better place

can't believe I had these thoughts when I saw your face

not sure if I got it right

I feel so out of place

now I look to find that you are gone without a trace

gave my heart and all I had to you

gave you love, now everything is blue

now we can't be friends

so what do I do?

How could, how could a lie

how could a lie feel so true

how could, how could a lie

how could a lie feel so true

how could, how could a lie

how could a lie feel so true

how could you?

Hilary: I know what I have to do.

Phyllis: Avoid esther? Sneak through the back door?

Hilary: A baby.

Phyllis: What?

Hilary: I've decided. I'm gonna have a baby of my own.

Cane: I don't want to fall back into that mindset and lose sight of what's important.

Lily: Life is complicated. You know, things are gonna happen, we're gonna make mistakes, we're gonna hurt each other.

Cane: I swear to you... I swear to you...

Lily: Listen, it's just part of the deal. When you make a vow to someone, to be together for better or for worse. We have to be honest with each other. It's the only way to make it through when things get messy. And embrace the fact that we're not perfect.

Cane: I am with you, heart and soul. Even with all of our imperfections.

Lily: I know that. I do. I'm with you, too. Whatever comes.

Cane: Whatever comes.

Paul: Doctor, paul williams, chief of police. Mr. Abbott got a phone call about a patient, graham bloodworth.

I'm dr. Alvi, chief of medicine.

Paul: How do things look?

We did all we could to save mr. Bloodworth, but I'm afraid he's unable to be revived. The hospital needs authorization to remove him from life support. Who is the next of kin?

Dina: I am. I'm his wife. You have my permission to remove him from life support.
