Abby: How you would like a free trip with yours truly to leave all of our crap behind in the dust?

Cane: Every time the phone rings, my stomach clenches because I think it's my attorney calling and he's telling me the divorce is back on.

Lily: I haven't been able to move on, either.

Ashley: What is this?

Graham: Dina's medical power of attorney, and she assigned it to me. What part of "we're leaving" do you not understand?

Dina: Oh, my god, jack!

Ashley: And don't come back!

Victoria: Maybe you can work things out with mac.

J.T.: Things may be a little worse than I led you to believe.

Scott: No, I'm not about to give up my dream position.

Abby: This job, it's the only thing that means anything to me right now. We just have to put aside our baggage and our chemistry and find a way to work together.

Victoria: You're early. Are you coming?

[ Door opens ]

J.T.: [ Exhales sharply ]

Cane: Hey.

J.T.: Hey. How's sam?

Cane: He's good. Last time I checked, he's sleeping.

J.T.: You know what, i couldn't help but notice that really attractive nanny who was taking care of him earlier.

Cane: Yeah? I didn't notice that. I just see her impeccable credentials.

J.T.: [ Chuckles ] Says the man who's in love with his wife.

Cane: Yeah.

J.T.: Hey, thanks again for letting me stay here while i figure things out, and for the job at chancellor.

Cane: Hey, you're the one doing me the favor 'cause having you here balances out me being saddled with billy.

J.T.: [ Laughs ] All right, I'm gonna shower and change.

Cane: All right, mate.

[ Knocking at door ]

Jeffrey todd hellstrom?

J.T.: Yeah.

J.T.: What's, uh... hey!

Cane: What is it?

J.T.: Nothing, just -- a messenger dropped off some paperwork for me. Nothing important.

Abby: When I sold victoria on this idea for this new campaign, broadening brash & sassy's reach in europe, I never expected this. Trade shows, bridal fairs all leading into... okay, where are you?

Lily: Um, sorry. No, yeah, the shade of --

Abby: Okay. No, no, no. Don't even try to pretend like you were musing over lipstick and concealer. Glazed eyes, sappy smile. Your mind's on a man.

Lily: [ Chuckles ]

[ Sighs ] Cane and I kissed yesterday.

Jack: And that's when I threw him out of my house!

Michael: Were there any witnesses? Oh, huh, and I'm just hearing about it now.

Traci: Michael, what are you doing?

Michael: I'm checking to see if a warrant has been issued for jack's arrest.

Ashley: Graham was trespassing. He was trying to take our mother.

Michael: Was dina going with him willingly?

Jack: Yes, but --

Michael: Then by assaulting him, you become the criminal.

Traci: He is going after our mother's money. It would be obvious to anybody who saw --

Michael: According to the laws of this state, graham still holds medical power of attorney over your mother, and according to an attorney in paris, he is still the primary beneficiary of her will.

Ashley: We intended to take care of that.

Jack: We had planned for her to change her will, but she had a stroke and was kidnapped.

Traci: And then we got the alzheimer's diagnosis. Michael, we've just been focusing on keeping our mother safe.

Ashley: There has to be some way we can stop him.

Michael: Hmm. Well, I can find a way to negate that power of attorney, but you have to convince dina to change the will.

Traci: Even if she's already been diagnosed? I mean --

Michael: Precisely.

[ Doorbell rings ] We have to take advantage of her moments of lucidity.

Jack: It's graham.

Michael: Open the door.

Graham: I have a court order.

Michael: Yeah. Apparently.

Graham: You are hereby directed to release dina mergeron into my care.

Abby: So romantic! So, you walk away, turn back for one last look, and then you leap into each other's arms for a kiss to end all kisses.

Lily: Well, I didn't say that it was --

Abby: Okay, on a scale from 1 to 10...

Lily: [ Sighs ] 642.

Abby: [ Sighs ] So the divorce is off.

Lily: No, I mean, not necessarily.

Abby: Liplock to the contrary. I mean, how can you still be thinking about dumping the guy when --

Lily: Because, I mean, one kiss doesn't repair a marriage. We still have a lot of baggage we have to wade through. And I don't know if we're in a place to do that yet.

Abby: But that's just geometry. Take that liplock from vertical to horizontal, and...

Lily: You know it's more complicated than that.

Abby: Maybe. I just wish we could bottle up and market that look that you have going on right now. You are glowing.

Lily: Mm, thank you. And you look happier, too.

Abby: Because I'm escaping. To paris. Which reminds me, we have so much to discuss with victoria. If we don't leave right now, we are going to be late.

Lily: Right.

Abby: I'm really happy that we'll be doing this together.

J.T.: Damn it.

Cane: Don't tell me you're displeased with the service here at hotel chancellor.

J.T.: Yeah. I could have used a few more towels.

Cane: Oh, yeah? Well, that's my fault 'cause i keep telling esther that one guy doesn't need 40 bath sheets. So, you know, if you talk to her, though, she'll hook you up.

J.T.: [ Chuckles ] I'll do that.

Cane: Yeah, and if you're nice, she'll even put a mint on your pillow. Seriously. All right. So, what's bugging you?

J.T.: Oh, nothing. Reed. His court date for the dui is coming up, and victoria and i are meeting later to get on the same page.

Cane: Is he doing that teenage thing where he pretends he doesn't get your phone calls or your texts?

J.T.: Yeah, something like that.

Cane: Okay, is victoria giving you grief?

J.T.: No. Not yet.

Cane: Well, I mean, it's hard to parent kids when you're separated, you know, but hopefully for me that won't be happening for much longer.

J.T.: Yeah? What's changed?

Cane: Uh, nothing yet. But, uh, yesterday, lily and I, we took a big step forward.

J.T.: Well, maybe there's hope for us all, huh?

Traci: Michael, what does it say?

Michael: The judge gives graham the right to remove dina from this house.

Ashley: You can't do this.

Traci: She's not well.

Jack: I don't care whose name is on this thing. I am not releasing my mother to you.

Michael: Jack, jack, jack, jack, listen. You have to, or you'll risk arrest, okay?

Ashley: It's outrageous.

Jack: What, you're on his side?

Michael: No, I'm keeping my client out of jail. Legally, you have no --

Jack: To hell with the law!

Graham: If that's the way you feel, I'm sure we can continue this discussion down at the station.

Jack: Not gonna happen, graham.

Graham: He's well within his rights to detain you.

Michael: All right, all right, let me handle this.

Ashley: You are not taking our mother or my brother out of here.

Traci: Okay, please, everyone, just calm down. Please. These are familiar surroundings for her. She's -- she's happy here. She's comfortable here. If you move her, it will traumatize her. Please. For her sake, will you reconsider?

Graham: I see no reason to do that.

Traci: [ Sighs ] Then you leave me no choice.

Victoria: Do you know why you're here?

Scott: To discuss upcoming projects for hashtag?

Victoria: Exactly.

Scott: I've jotted down a few stories.

Victoria: I'd like you to do a feature on teens and alcohol with an emphasis on drunk driving.

Scott: Any particular reason?

Victoria: Because it's a real and relevant issue, and more people need to be aware of the dangers.

Scott: You're right. The number of deaths --

Victoria: Let me know when you have something. I'd like to review it before we publish.

Scott: All right. Just letting you know that I'm gonna be working from home for the foreseeable future.

Victoria: That's unacceptable.

Scott: You're telling me that an international conglomerate with multiple interests in telecommunications can't handle a few e-mails?

Victoria: There's nothing that newman enterprises can't handle. We have dozens of employees who work from home.

Scott: Then why can't I --

Victoria: For now, you won't be one of them.

Scott: Look, I -- I work as a writer for a living. My colleague is a computer. There's no difference in me e-mailing my work to you and victor from down the hall or across town.

Victoria: There is to me. Case in point, did you receive the e-mail that I sent you and abby about the project that i assigned you?

Scott: I did.

Victoria: You didn't reply.

Scott: There's something i should tell you.

Victoria: If this is about the fight that sharon and abby had at the athletic club, presumably over you, I know.

Scott: Right, well, since you've heard, you can understand how working with abby would be difficult...

Victoria: If you're trying to fish around to find out if abby spilled everything about your relationship...

Scott: We don't have a relationship.

Victoria: You can call it whatever you want. Abby didn't confide anything in me, and I didn't ask.

Scott: So insisting that i work here and team up with abby...

Victoria: It's not punishment, it's business. My father told me how successful your past joint projects have been, so despite whatever is going on with you and abby personally...

Scott: Well, what if -- I mean, abby's going to paris.

Victoria: As you pointed out, it's a simple matter of working together long-distance. However, if abby is working here from the office or overseas, i expect you to find a way to be able to do your job from here.

Scott: Or not do it at all.

Victoria: That's entirely up to you.

Scott: Hey.

Abby: Um, remember, we have that meeting today before I, um, leave for paris.

Scott: I'll be there. Lily.

Graham: [ Scoffs ] How long does it take to pack a bag? Surely, this officer must have more pressing --

Jack: Then he should go do it because there's no way --

Michael: Jack, jack, jack. I advise you to remain silent.

Graham: Listen to your lawyer. And while you're at it, why don't you go upstairs and move your sister and mother along?

Jack: Cop or no cop --

Ashley: Jack. Don't do it!

Traci: All right, all right! Everybody stop! Stop! Thank you for coming.

Paul: You're welcome. Wait for me outside.

Ashley: Traci, smart move.

Traci: Graham wasn't backing down, so I called for backup.

Jack: If you're not aware, paul is not only a family friend, he's also the chief of police. I'm sure he can sort this out to everyone's benefit.

Cane: I just wanted to tell you I'm happy that we talked last night. Actually, I'm happy about a lot of things that happened last night. So, uh, you know, you can call me, or, uh, you know, better yet, you could stop by because I'll be here. I'm working from home, and, uh, I'd love to see you. Bye.

[ Exhales sharply ]

Victoria: Uh, the eiffel tower and the louvre, those are no-brainers.

Victoria: Yeah. It also helps there will be five times as many male models available.

Abby: Yep, booking this trip right before men's fashion week is genius.

Victoria: All those gorgeous europe male models all vying to pose with lily. I'm seething with jealousy right now. I wish I could go.

Abby: You should come. We'd have a good time.

Victoria: It's virtually impossible to have a bad time in paris, but you guys will have to go without me. I have other projects that I'm working on right now. Lily, you know your input is always welcome if there's anything that you want to add or change.

Lily: Uh, no. It all sounds terrific.

Abby: Have you changed your mind about going?

Ashley: There has to be something we can do to get rid of him.

Paul: Not when he has a court order.

Jack: She's ill, paul. We can't let graham --

Paul: Jack, it is not up to you, and it is not up to me. My job is to ensure the judge's orders are enforced.

Graham: Can we go now?

Traci: All right, how about this? What if mother refuses?

Ashley: Traci, you saw how she was with him.

Traci: That was yesterday. You know how unreasonable and unpredictable she's being. What about if today she refuses?

Dina: Graham! You're here! Oh, darling, are you finally gonna take me away from this terrible place?

Graham: I promised you, didn't I?

Dina: I saw a policeman outside. They may cause trouble for you again.

Graham: No, that officer came with me because of what happened last time I tried to take you away. They're not gonna stop me this time, though.

Jack: Mother, could we just talk --

Dina: You stand back. I will not have my children being rude to my friends. Shall we go, hmm?

Graham: You need your bag.

Dina: Oh. Of course. Oh, you always know how to take such good care of me.

[ Giggles ]

Victoria: I think it makes sense that you would want to use this time to sort out your personal life.

Lily: It was just one kiss.

Abby: But it could be the first step in you getting back together with cane. And that's important.

Lily: Yeah, and so is the money that newman's already put into this shoot. And, besides, it's just one week so whatever's happening or not happ-- what?

Victoria: Uh, well, it will be at least a week, lily.

Abby: But with the couture shows this month and then fashion week at the end of february, we were thinking...

Victoria: We were thinking -- are you prepared to stay in europe a little bit longer?

Lily: Um... I have -- I have the kids. I...

Victoria: No, of course. Well, then, we'll just...

Lily: No, you know what? It's fine. I can do it. Mattie and charlie are independent. Cane will love having them around. It's fine. How long?

Victoria: We'll just have to see how it goes.

Abby: But if I can make the right contacts and set up a feasible base in paris, I mean, you could be going back and forth between continents for a while.

Lily: Oh. Okay.

Victoria: You're worried that all of this back-and-forth will kill the momentum that you're building with cane?

Lily: [ Sighs ] No, I mean, look, I can't base my career off of that, you know? I mean, last week, we were estranged, this week, we kissed. So, you know, if I'm gone for a couple of weeks or a couple of months and it falls apart, then I guess it wasn't meant to be anyway, right?

Abby: That's one way of looking at it, but...

Lily: You know what, I'm in. I'm doing paris. I'm in.

Abby: Well, I cannot wait to get on that plane, that is for sure. Victoria, is there anything else that you'd like to discuss?

Victoria: No, I just want you to pack your bags and post lots of amazing pictures on social media.

Abby: You got it. Bye!

Lily: Done.

Victoria: Bye-bye.

Lily: Thank you. Well, I guess I better break the news to cane.

J.T.: Hey, lily. Abby.

Lily: Hey.

Abby: I thought you'd left town.

J.T.: What, and leave all the beauties of genoa city behind? Not a chance.

Dina: I packed a lot of cruise wear for that south seas trip I was talking to you about so much. Do you remember the last time we went?

Graham: I don't quite...

Jack: You don't remember because you weren't there.

Ashley: You went there with daddy, mother.

Dina: Of course. And now it's time to make new memories.

Traci: Mother. I wonder -- maybe this trip could be postponed. We haven't had very much time together at all.

Ashley: Abby was gonna stop by later today to spend the afternoon with you --

Dina: Oh, stop coming on like this is our last time together because I'm going to come visit you often. I will. Will you miss me, son? Oh, my sweet boy. I promise you, I will send lots of postcards. Like always, hmm?

Jack: You remember that i love you. I always want what is best for you.

Dina: And I will have the best now. With graham.

Graham: Shall we?

Dina: Yes.

Paul: I wish it didn't have to be this way.

Jack: Don't think for one minute we are giving up! We will fight you with everything we have!

Lily: So, living in a house with a newborn isn't driving you insane?

J.T.: No, it actually feels like home. And as far as newborns go, sam's pretty good. You should get to know him.

Lily: [ Chuckles ]

J.T.: What?

Lily: No, I get it. You want cane and me back together. Very subtle. Very.

Abby: He'd like to think so.

Lily: Okay, am I missing something here? Are you mad at him? What'd you do? What'd you do?

J.T.: Nothing. I did nothing.

Abby: He hit on me. And, yes, he was ever-so-charming about it, but I knew what was going on.

J.T.: Well, I hate to be less-than-charming, but you're wrong, okay? I was just looking for an old friend to hang out with.

Abby: Then why didn't you tell me that you had separated from mac?

J.T.: Because I didn't want to get into it, you know? The questions, and it's just -- it's personal. I just want to put it all behind me in a platonic, respectful way, and I'm sorry if you took it the wrong way.

Abby: Well, I just wish that you had trusted me enough to be honest with me.

J.T.: I'll do that next time.

Lily: So... how long are you genoa city for?

J.T.: Indefinitely, actually. Cane hired me at chancellor.

Lily: On, congratulations. But, I mean, if you're planning on staying here...

J.T.: What happens to my marriage? I don't know.

Lily: Well, I hope you and mac can find your way back to each other.

J.T.: Like you and cane?

Charlie: Look. I brought this for sam.

Cane: Oh, my god. It's bear. I forgot all about him.

Charlie: That is a duck. You and mom should be ashamed of yourselves, letter a toddler walk around with that thing, calling it "bear."

Cane: Hey, hey. We were impressed with your creativity, and that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Charlie: All right. Well, at least change his name for sam, okay?

Cane: No, no, I'm not doing that. This is tradition, okay? But I am touched that you're giving your favorite toy to your little brother. Thank you.

Charlie: Well, mom was bugging me to clean my room. I figured I'd give bear a nice home before she hired a dump truck and did a clean sweep.

Cane: That's a good idea. So, uh, how's your mom doing?

Charlie: She's good.

Cane: Yeah?

Charlie: Yeah, she was all smiley and bubbly this morning.

Cane: Really?

Charlie: Yeah, she said it might have something to do with you.

Cane: That's good to hear, you know, because after all the pain I caused her, you know, it's nice to know that maybe i brought her some happiness.

Charlie: I knew she couldn't stay mad at you and you guys would call off the divorce. When you moving back home?

Cane: Charlie, listen --

Charlie: Dad... let's go introduce bear to sam.

Victoria: I hope that the judge terrifies reed so much that when he leaves that courtroom, he's so shaken that he never, ever considers getting behind the wheel of a car again after he's been drinking. Ever.

J.T.: Well, that's a little overboard, don't you think? I mean, we don't want the kid to feel like he's a total screw-up.

Victoria: He could have seriously hurt himself or someone else, for that matter.

J.T.: He knows that. And, believe me, getting dragged into court and having to beg for rides for a few months, it'll guarantee he won't forget the lesson. Look, he needs encouragement. He needs to know that the people he counts on aren't gonna stop loving him just because he screwed up.

Victoria: Are we still talking about reed, or are we shifting to you and mac?

J.T.: I plead the fifth.

Victoria: Okay, fine. Just please don't teach that trick to your son.

J.T.: If you say so.

Victoria: I'm serious. Right now. Please. I mean, whatever we decide, we have to be in agreement, for his sake.

J.T.: Okay.

Victoria: Okay, so, what is his punishment? Above and beyond what the court dishes out, how do we make sure that he never does this again? I mean, how do we make this point with him?

J.T.: [ Inhales sharply ] No ice cream for a year?

Victoria: No, I'm serious.

J.T.: We'll figure it out.

Victoria: But, look, we can't just make --

J.T.: Mm, I'm hungry, and i can't think on an empty stomach. So have lunch with him.

Victoria: And we're gonna come up with an agreement on his punishment?

J.T.: Yes, and I'm a working stiff now, so I can even pay for it.

Victoria: All right. Then I'll let you.

Abby: So graham just took her out of here? We have no idea where they are?

Ashley: Michael, we have to find a way to invalidate that court order before he takes her on a plane.

Jack: How soon can we get the courts to move on this?

Michael: As soon as I can get a judge on the phone. But I need cause. Is there any way we can prove that dina was not in her right mind when she signed over her medical power of attorney to graham?

Traci: No, no, no, no. It happened before dr. Burg's diagnosis.

Jack: But wait, didn't mom say --

Ashley: Yes, dina said that graham had her diagnosed a year before dr. Burg ran those tests.

Michael: Yeah, I can check it.

Ashley: We don't have that kind of time, though, michael.

Michael: We need to find some way to prove that graham is out to harm dina.

Ashley: What about all the things he said that night at the dinner? We were celebrating my award.

Michael: That's right.

Traci: Yes! Graham admitted to a whole room of people he had a vendetta against our mother.

Ashley: Yes, he went on a rant, blaming dina for stealing his stepfather.

Michael: Yeah, uh, brent -- brent davis.

Ashley: Exactly.

Michael: Yes.

Ashley: He was angry with dina because he felt that she lured away his stepfather and supposedly ruined their lives.

Jack: We all heard this, michael, including you.

Michael: Yes. It might help sway the judge, but saying that graham resented dina for past actions is not the same. It's entirely different than proving that graham is out to harm dina in the present.

Dina: Yummy, yummy.

Graham: I want you to put the difficulties you've been having with your children behind you and enjoy the fact that you'll be moving into a marvelous new home.

Dina: What about the cruise, dear?

Graham: We're gonna table that for now. It's better this way.

Dina: Oh, well, I was looking forward to traveling, you know, not plopping down in some bungalow in where... was it munich, or bali?

Graham: Stateside for now, but you'll be able to enjoy all the same activities you would aboard a ship, like karaoke or bingo, and enjoy some wonderful meals.

Dina: Where?

Graham: In a beautiful facility.

Dina: Facility?

Graham: It's right up there with a five-star hotel.

Dina: And you'll be living there with me?

Graham: I'll be there so often, it'll seem like we're roomies.

Dina: Uh, but you promised that we would be together, always. And what about little jackie? You said that he could come with us.

Graham: It won't be possible for jackie or me to live with you just let, but --

Dina: Oh, no.

Graham: We'll visit as often as we can.

Dina: Well, that's not the same.

Graham: It'll be wonderful, all right? You'll see. You'll have new experiences, you'll make some new friends.

Dina: I don't want new friends! Now, you promised that you would take care of me.

Graham: And that's what I'm doing. You'll have 24-hour care. It's the best thing for you.

Dina: You are not gonna lock me away in some facility!

Graham: Let's talk about this privately, shall we?

Dina: No! You're confusing me. Now, go! Go away! Let me go!

J.T.: Hey! Hey! What's the problem here?

Graham: Nothing. Mind your own business.

Victoria: Dina, do you need help?

Dina: Ow! Ow!

J.T.: Hey, leave her alone, man!

Graham: I'm not attacking her, all right? I'm trying to just --

Dina: He broke his promise. I want my little jackie. I want my jackie! My baby jackie...

[ Sighs ]

Charlie: Thanks for letting me feed him. That was really cool.

Cane: Oh, really? Well, if you want to be really cool, you can come by at 2:00 A.M. And continue that coolness when you feed him.

Charlie: [ Chuckles ] You know, when you and sam move back home, you'll probably never get a chance to feed the kid again. Mattie and mom will be fighting over him.

Cane: All right, listen, your mom and I, we haven't discussed sam yet, so I'm not sure, you know, where she stands on him being in her life.

Charlie: Dad, she gave him her blood. She hung out at the hospital when he was having surgery. She loves kids.

Cane: Okay, but, look, the thing is, sam is not hers, okay? And him being around is a constant reminder of how I hurt your mom. Do you understand that?

Charlie: Yeah. It's just -- you should have seen her this morning. She was so ready to get back with you.

Cane: [ Chuckles ] I wish I could believe that.

Charlie: Believe it.

Cane: Look, will you do me a favor and, you know, for everybody's well-being, don't pressure your mom with this, please?

Charlie: Okay. I won'T.

Cane: Okay. All right.

Charlie: And... I owe you an apology.

Cane: Okay, did you lose your phone or flunk your physics exam?

Charlie: I disrespected you when I found out you were having a baby with another woman.

Cane: Look, I understand how angry you were about that, okay? But the fact of the matter is, you have managed to forgive me, and you welcomed sam back into your life. I'm proud of you for that. Okay? And to see the man that you're becoming... I couldn't love you any more for that, mate.

Charlie: I love you, too, dad.

Scott: Thank you for doing this.

Lauren: And pass up an invitation from my son? Never.

Scott: How's your day going?

Lauren: It's busy. Like yours. So let's cut to it because something is clearly stressing you out. How can I help?

Scott: Give me $3 million.

Lauren: [ Chuckles ] Oh! You're serious.

Scott: I want to buy hashtag.

Lauren: Why?

Scott: It's off-brand for newman, and victoria's tried to fire me despite the success of the sex trafficking exposé. And now she's dictating what i should write and will probably tell me how to write it while looking over my shoulder and breathing down my neck.

Lauren: Mm-hmm, and if you go off on your own...

Scott: I could write what i want.

Lauren: And you lose the name recognition and the amount of money that newman pours into hashtag that pays for your salary, travel expenses, research, and your staff.

Scott: Look, you're missing the bigger picture.

Lauren: Let me guess -- you want to leave newman because you want abby in your life.

Michael: Okay, all I need to do is make a couple of phone calls.

Jack: You can use my study.

Michael: Right.

Traci: Michael. Do you think this is gonna work?

Michael: I'll explain the extenuating circumstances to the judge.

Ashley: That graham could possibly take her out of the country at any moment.

Michael: Yeah. And I will request an expedited court date.

Jack: Okay, this way.

Traci: [ Sighs ] I could use some tea. Anybody? Abby, honey?

Abby: No, thank you.

Traci: All right.

Abby: What if we can't get dina away from graham? Would it help if I called her?

Ashley: No. Graham would probably see it as you trying to interfere with his court order. He'd have you arrested.

Abby: Mm.

Ashley: [ Sighs ] Besides, I think you have other things you have to deal with, don't you?

Abby: What's that supposed to mean?

Ashley: A rumor I heard about your brawling with sharon at the gcac?

Abby: That.

Ashley: It's true?

Abby: Yeah.

Ashley: And you were fighting over...?

Abby: Me. Stealing her man. For my constipation,

Cane: I'm, uh, glad you decided to come by. It's good to see you.

Lily: Yeah. You, too.

Cane: Uh...

Ashley: Isn't that a little extreme? Is it difficult for you to work with him because of the feelings you have for him?

Abby: When scott and I were trapped in the storage locker... we slept together.

Lauren: I cannot believe that you slept with abby while you were in a relationship with sharon.

Scott: [ Scoffs ] It's not like we planned it.

J.T.: Look, I'm sorry to hear she's got alzheimer'S.

Graham: Dina tasked me with providing for her welfare when she could no longer take care of herself. It's in her best interest that we find her a safe place to live.

Victoria: Dina's much calmer now.

Victoria: I hope you know that I intend to call the abbotts about what happened here.

Graham: If you feel you must. I'm going to book us a suite here until we can nail down some further plans. How does that suit you?

Dina: Well, yes, I -- I do like being here. Let's do that, shall we?

Lauren: Honey, I hate to say this and run. You know, I would love to help you, but I don't have $3 million I can loan you right now, and I've got a meeting I've got to get to.

Scott: You know, I was kind of joking, kind of not when i asked. Truth is, I don't want to have to borrow money from my mom.

Lauren: Are you really so desperate that you don't want to cross paths with abby that you would actually considering leaving newman?

Scott: Yeah, it'd be a dumb move at this point.

Lauren: Mm-hmm.

Scott: Like you said, I'm making a name for myself there, and I need to use this job to position myself for whatever i want next.

Scott: Bye.

Jack: I'm just glad victoria and J.T. Were there to witness it.

Traci: Mother actually said graham is going to put her in a nursing home?

Jack: After he stood in this room and led her to believe that he was taking her on a cruise.

Ashley: We have to put a stop to that man once and for all.

Jack: Please tell me you have something.

Michael: Well, because of dina's age and circumstance, the judge has agreed to hear our case against graham right away.

Jack: Yes!

Ashley: Oh, thank god.

Abby: Today?

Michael: Day after tomorrow.

Jack: We have a lot of work to do between now and then.

Traci: Which is why I hope the two of you will put your jabot C.E.O. Arbitration on hold for now.

Jack: Agreed. Ash?

Ashley: Mother's our first priority.

Jack: Then for now, we call a truce.

Ashley: And we find a way to stop graham.

Victoria: You're a trained investigator. What's your take on graham?

J.T.: [ Sighs ] Well, the guy says all the right things, but for somebody who claims to care about dina mergeron, he doesn't treat her very well. Kind of creepy, if you ask me.

Victoria: Yeah. I had the same feeling. Yet you didn't hesitate to step in and help her. I guess you really are one of the good guys.

J.T.: [ Chuckles ] Tell that to mac. She just served me with divorce papers.

Cane: Wow, um, paris of all places, huh?

Lily: I know. I was also hoping that mattie and charlie could stay here while I'm gone.

Cane: Of course they can stay here. It's a big place, you know, but... I know I'm being selfish, and i just don't want you to leave.

Lily: Look, cane, if I had it my way, if I could have planned it scheduled it, I would stay in town. So that we could talk every day, argue, find our way back to each other again.

Cane: And kiss.

Lily: And kiss.

Cane: Look, I know that this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for you to do everything you love. I know that, okay?

Lily: Yeah, I have the chance to be more than I've been, and I don't want to lose it.
