Jack: Gloria, do me a favor. Call all available department heads. Tell them I want to meet in the conference room. A.S.A.P. I want to discuss the transition. Thanks.[ Cellphone chimes ]
Victor: Thank you for that.
Michael: Glad I could help. So, how's everything unfolding in the, um, designdate debacle?
Victor: What a debacle. My people are trying to distance me from it as far as they can, you know?
Michael: Putting business aside for the moment... are you gonna talk to her or continue to pretend that she's not here?
Victor: Talk to who?
Michael: Christine.
Christine: Michael.
Victor: My goodness, you look so official.
Christine: These are federal agents.
Victor: Really? I could tell by their suits.
Christine: We need you to come with us. There are some questions we'd like to ask you.
Phyllis: Woman needs a skim latte, stat.
Billy: [ Chuckles ] In all my years, I've never seen the jabot jet run out of caffeine. You two deserve medals.
Chelsea: Yeah, good job.
Billy: Come on. Hey? I mean, oh, what an amazing weekend. I usually have fun, but the four of us together, I mean, my goodness.
Phyllis: It felt good letting go like that, throw caution to the wind.
Billy: You said it, baby.
Phyllis: Oh!
Billy: What do you think? Thanksgiving tradition or what?
Chelsea: May take me a full year to recover anyway, so that'll be fine.
Nick: I mean, I haven't gotten that wild or, uh, crazy since, uh...
Phyllis: I think it's back to the harsh light of reality.
Paul: Okay, and when you're done with that, bring up the evidence from the fire at the underground. Thanks.

Michael: Christine, is this absolutely necessary?
Christine: I'm just doing my job.
Michael: Accosting my client in public? This is unbelievable. Look, victor, I will meet you at the station. I just have to make a few phone calls, push a few things back, all right?
Victor: Well, now, wonder how the press knew about this little ambush of yours.
[ Camera shutter clicks ] I will be more than happy to talk to the authorities to clear my name, the good name of newman enterprises, get rid of all these aspersions and suspicions and false allegations.
[ Camera shutter clicks ]
Chelsea: Okay, great. Um, thanks again for everything.
Nick: Everything okay with the kids?
Chelsea: Yeah, they're great. They had a really calm, fun, low-key weekend. Unlike us.
Nick: Yeah. Listen, um... you know, for the record, doing something so out there and spontaneous, um...
Chelsea: Wasn't like you?
Nick: Well, you know, I'm a grown-up. I'm an adult with responsibilities. I have kids. I've got a family who relies on me. Do I sound old? I sound old, right?
Chelsea: No, you're not old. You're just -- you're just acting like an adult.
Nick: Billy abbott has no concept of.
Chelsea: Excuse me. Phyllis was not exactly the voice of moderation. Thank you very much.
Nick: Well, it's not like billy needs any encouragement. I mean, he was out of control, right?
Chelsea: Mm-hmm.
Nick: Throwing his money around, one expense after another, V.I.P. Everything 24/7. It was just --
Chelsea: Outrageous?
Nick: It was reckless and irresponsible. I'm sounding more old and boring by the minute.
Chelsea: [ Chuckling ] You're not. No, you are neither one of those things. If anything, I-I love how -- how practical you are and grounded.
Nick: Eh.
Chelsea: You know what? Um... this totally stinks, but I have to get to work.
[ Chuckles ] So...
Nick: Yeah, I should do the same.
Chelsea: Yeah. Oh. Shoot. I'm sorry. Hey.
Nick: [ Sighs ] It's okay. It's okay. It's fine. It's more than fine. This blow-out weekend was good, you know? But, uh, now I need to get serious, take the next step.
Chelsea: Do you think you're gonna stay in the bar business?
Nick: I don't know. I just know after this weekend in new orleans, whatever I do next has got to be bigger and better, and I don't know what that is. I've been so focused on the underground. I don't know. I am gonna swing by the police station, though, and see if paul's made any progress on the investigation.
Chelsea: Okay. Um, well, I mean, I don't have to be at work right this second. I can go with you.
Nick: It's all right. Um, I'm just gonna swing by there. And we'll catch up later?
Chelsea: Okay.
Nick: Yeah.
Chelsea: Feel better.
[ Sighs ] Ow.
Billy: No, no, no, no, no.
Phyllis: We have gone up and down three times already.
Billy: I'm not ready to let you go yet. Ooh!
Phyllis: Come on! It's a work day at my workplace. But this naughty, crazy side of you, me likey.
Billy: That's good. You're gonna have to get used to me.
Phyllis: Oh! Where are those pesky staples?
Billy: Hey, jack.
Jack: Hi there. I understand you made use of the company jet this weekend. Little surprise to see your name on the passenger list.
Phyllis: Your brother walked in with the brilliant idea of taking off to new orleans.
Jack: Is that so?
Billy: Yeah, I just figured that we could use a change of scenery. No harm done, I hope.
Jack: I gather then you two have kissed and made up.
Billy: Oh, there was definitely kissing involved.
Phyllis: Spent the whole week--
Jack: I don't need any of the details, thank you. When you're done looking for staples, check your work e-mail. There's some changes you need to know about. What the hell?
Christine: We can do this in paul's office.
Victor: I'm not gonna do this without my attorney present, all right?
Christine: Sounds like a man who has something to hide.
Victor: And you sound like a woman who doesn't give a damn about the trivialities of due process or the truth.
Christine: We'll continue this when michael arrives.
Victor: You bet. I'm so looking forward to it.
[ Sighs ]
Nick: What are you doing here?
Victor: Entertaining christine williams while she's trying to make sense out of this disaster called designdate.
Nick: She's just doing her job. That's the way it works in the real world.
Victor: Really? As far as I'm concerned, she's on a fishing expedition, trying to find something on me. Tomorrow I'm gonna be back behind my desk running my business. Unless, of course, it has burned down mysteriously.
Paul: Oh, nick, I just left you a voicemail about the fire investigation.
Nick: Perfect. That's why I'm here -- for an update.
Victor: What's the problem?
Phyllis: "As of today, ashley abbott will be taking over as interim C.E.O. Of jabot cosmetics." Where is this coming from? Jack? You're taking a leave of absence? Since when?
Jack: Since now. I need some time away from the office. Ashley will be stepping in as C.E.O. In the meantime.
Phyllis: I got the generic e-mail, but what brought this on?
Jack: Dina's stroke, this whole thing with graham made me realize my mother needs me right now.
Phyllis: You realize you're gonna go crazy being around her all day. You could barely tolerate working with her.
Jack: I'm doing this, phyllis. I don't need you editorializing about it. What i do need from you is that you get along with ashley while I'm not here.
Phyllis: Okay. Just tell her not to get too comfortable in that chair of yours. You will be back in no time. But I give this whole "mommy and me" thing like two weeks tops. I will see you later.
Billy: Yeah.
Jack: Thank you for keeping the family secret about dina's alzheimer'S.
Billy: Yeah, of course. Look, jack, as far as your mom's concerned, I'm not gonna stick my nose where it doesn't belong. But I will say that I think it's better you come public with her condition. Sooner or later, people are gonna start speculating and start gossiping.
Jack: I can't even consider that right now. And neither should you.
Billy: Yeah.
Jack: Good.
Billy: I'll see you later.
Nikki: Oh, hey, billy.
Billy: Hey, nikki. He's all yours.
Nikki: Well, well. I got your text. I'm ready to hear what you have to say. Better be good.
Victor: Son, I have experience with these kind of investigations, all right? Insurance companies are usually very thorough. Can be very frustrating. But there's no way I'm absolutely certain that they'll find you guilty of arson, all right?
Nick: What exactly is your point?
Victor: The point is that you need to get used to the fact that they will throw all kinds of allegations at you, and they will try to stick you with the responsibility for the fire. Isn't that right, paul?
Paul: Yes. Thank you for that, victor. Shall we? You know, he may have his own agenda, but your father's not wrong.
Nick: Yeah, I know. The insurance company already called me, and they think I'm responsible for this fire, so they're not paying a dime. I need you to get to the truth, paul.
Paul: Yeah, well, you know, nick, forensics is kind of a tricky science, especially when it comes to proving arson. Now, besides physical evidence, my people also factor in motive. And from what your dad said, it sounds like you may have one.
Nick: [ Sighs ] Was I mad at him that night? Yes, of course. He is putting me in a corner. He's setting it up so that he can take the underground from me. I built that place, all right? It's mine. I even threw out some stupid comment to chelsea. I said I would rather torch the place than let him take it from me.
Paul: Did you?
Nick: Well, what do you think, paul?
Jack: I am sorry for the way I treated you. My behavior was unacceptable and totally unwarranted.
Nikki: All I wanted was a calm, rational discussion.
Jack: I know. Look, what happened with my mother, I...
Nikki: Yes. The way she lashed out at me with that knife. Mind you, my injuries were not that bad, but I didn't expect you to dismiss them entirely.
Jack: That was never my intention. I...
Nikki: Well, that's the way they came across. And then I got mad, and I said things about your mother that i shouldn't have, and I owe you an apology, too.
Jack: No, no, no, you don't owe me anything. You -- what you said about my mother was maybe just a little too close to home. I should have told you that night. I-I was having such trouble accepting it myself, and I feel very protective of her. I don't want this to be public knowledge.
Nikki: Well, jack, whatever it is, you know you can tell me. What is it?
Jack: My mother has alzheimer'S.
Nick: The underground was closed for halloween, so I went there, I sat at the bar, I had a drink, and then I was just, you know, doing some thinking.
Paul: And?
Nick: And then I left. Nothing seemed out of place. I never went to the office, so i didn't know the kids were hiding there.
Paul: So, no theories on how the fire might have started?
Nick: Yeah, I don't know. Maybe they knocked over an oil lamp or something. I really don't know. But whatever it is, it happened after I left.
Paul: The second time?
Nick: Second time? What are you talking about?
Paul: I just reviewed the report. Reed claimed that they heard you come in, so all the kids went to hide in the office. Then they came back out again to see if you had left, and he heard you come in the back door.
Nick: That wasn't me. I went home. Chelsea can confirm that.
Paul: Well, then who did reed hear come in?
Nick: I don't know. But if you figure that out, you might find out who started this fire.
Nikki: Thank you so much for sharing this with me. As hard as it is to talk about it, at least I understand your reaction now. Oh, I'm sorry to say this, but you look awful. You ought to take the day off.
Jack: I'm taking the week off, and next week, and the week after.
Nikki: Oh. Leave of absence?
Jack: Temporary, of course.
Nikki: Well, you just take as long as you need. Certainly you have to get good home care for dina. And it is vital that you interview those nurses yourself.
Jack: And leave her at home with some stranger? We just barely got her away from that bloodsucker graham.
Nikki: No, I'm talking about qualified professionals who are trained --
Jack: No, I will look after -- I will look after her. And I will work on this relationship while her condition makes that possible.
Nikki: Well, those are lovely intentions.
Jack: No, it's more than an intention. It is an action plan that I am 100% committed to.
Nikki: I know you, jack abbott. I hear what you're not saying. That if you take care of her well enough that you'll be able to manage it, that if you give your mother the best quality of care, you're gonna be able to beat it, but it's not going to work. I knew somebody who lived through this, and it...it's completely unmanageable. There is no logic. There's nothing to it. Everything is just agonizing for the patient, for the family. Physically and emotionally, it can be just as devastating as the disease.
Jack: You've known me a long time. How often have you heard me set everything aside to do what's meaningful, what's good? I want to do the right thing here, and you're trying to scare me away from it.
Nikki: No, jack, not when you feel so strongly about it.
Jack: I can't abandon her. What? "She abandoned you"? Is that what you're thinking? I am not going to punish a sick woman for ancient mistakes.
Nikki: You don't understand, jack. I am mainly concerned about you. You say the word, and I will be there to help you with anything.
Jack: I can't do that to you, nikki.
Nikki: I'm offering!
Jack: You're not hearing me. I think it's time we step away, step away from each other.
Nikki: Don't I get a vote about that?
Jack: [ Voice breaking ] I should probably be giving you one. I'm sorry. I-I have to do this for me.
Nikki: For you. And your mother. Because she has been consistent about the fact that she hates seeing us together.
Jack: She is not determining who I spend time with. This is my choice. Nikki.
Nikki: No, jack, don'T. Don'T. We've had enough ugly goodbyes in our life. And you have to do this. And I admire you for it. I-I respect you for it. But I'm not gonna say that I'm not gonna miss this...
[Voice breaking] Or you.
will continue.
Paul: Okay, arson suspects. Who pops in your mind first? Off the record.
Nick: My dad. Seriously. I confronted him about it at the scene. There were some pretty strong denials.
Paul: Right, that's a bit on the nose, even for your father, but I'm not ruling anything out yet. Oh, good. Finally. Okay, this is everything that forensics recovered from the fire. As you can see, not much survived.
Nick: Can I look through this?
Paul: It's all bagged and tagged, but sure. A fresh set of eyes never hurt.
[ Plastic rustling ] Oh, yeah, our mystery man. Any idea who that is?
Victor: His name is brent davis.
Nick: You know him?
Victor: That is dina mergeron's ex-lover.
Michael: Ah, nick, paul. Victor, you ready?
Victor: That's who that is. Well, hello, christine. How do you do? Where are your two federal supervisors?
Christine: My colleagues partnered with me on the sex trafficking ring since it was first discovered operating in wisconsin. They have agreed to let me do the questioning.
Victor: So they were merely two muscle-bound props.
Michael: Volunteer nothing. Simply answer her questions. Understand?
Christine: I trust your client understands that even though this isn't a formal deposition, nor is he under oath, his answers should be truthful.
Michael: He understands. Don't you?
Victor: Please.
Christine: Let's start with zack stinnett. Please define your relationship with him.
Victor: He, uh, met my daughter and had an idea for a designdate app, and she found it interesting.
Christine: An app you signed off on.
Victor: I supported her, yes.
Christine: You didn't have him vetted?
Victor: I had him vetted, yes.
Christine: So then you knew he ran unlicensed massage parlors in chicago.
Victor: Well, obviously i didn't have him vetted enough, did I?
Christine: I guess your people missed that.
Michael: Is that a question?
Christine: Do all newman employees receive dinner invitations to your home?
Victor: He's not a newman employee. He was my youngest daughter's date.
Christine: Let's talk about the business model, specifically how arrangements were made with the prostitutes and how various sexual acts were paid for.
Victor: How the hell do i know? Maybe you can enlighten me.
Christine: Well, the dating app field is very crowded. How did you surmise it showed such a profit?
Victor: 'Cause they told me big money.
Christine: How much money did it make for your company?
Victor: How the hell do i know? It's a pittance. Ask my accountant.
Christine: Victor, your hands-on approach to business has been well-established, so i find it hard to believe that you were ignorant of the earnings from designdate or that you didn't know exactly how that dating app became such a cash cow!
Michael: Christine, with respect, if you insist on being this argumentative, why should we cooperate?
Victor: You're beginning to cast aspersions. I'm a legitimate businessman. You damn well know it.
Christine: A legitimate businessman who had his corporate rival kidnapped and who turned a drug lord on his wife, so I don't think it's that much of a jump that you would partner with a sex trafficker, despite your efforts to shift the blame onto your own daughter.
Victor: That a question?
Jack: Hey, I've got some news. I'm gonna take some time off of work so that you and I can spend more time together.
Dina: Oh, jack, that's a horrible idea. You know how much I irritate you.
Jack: No, that's not true.
Dina: And you irritate me in the same measure. I don't need a babysitter, thanks very much.
Jack: Nobody said anything about babysitting. I just want to spend more time with my mother. Who knows? Maybe we'll discover we actually like each other.
Dina: [ Chuckles ] You were always such an idealistic boy. So... so... I don't want you hovering over me. Please. Why don't you spend time with that lovely wife of yours, uh, patty?
Jack: Mother, patty and i have been divorced for years.
Dina: Oh. Well, uh, I just want a little peace and quiet and have a nice cup of herbal tea.
Jack: Great. Let me help you get that.
Dina: I don't need your help. I can make my own tea, for god's sake!
[ Doorbell rings ] Hey, nick, come on in.
Nick: Yeah, sorry to just drop by.
Jack: No problem. Everything all right?
Nick: Uh, just trying to piece together what happened at the underground that night. I don't really have a lot to go on.
Jack: And you think somehow i might be of help? I-I don't get it.
Nick: Well... do you have any idea how this picture could have wound up in my bar that night?
Nick: This photo was part of the evidence gcpd collected that night after the fire. My dad id'd this guy as, like, your mom's former lover?
Jack: Brent davis.
Nick: So then it's true?
Jack: Yeah, they had a thing. Decades ago, before my mother went to paris.
Nick: Makes it even weirder. I mean, who would even know about this guy, let alone be carrying around a picture of him?
Jack: Nick, I have never even seen this photo.
Nick: Not you. I just need to talk to dina.
Jack: No, no, no, no. This is not a good time. She's not in a good way right now.
Nick: Well, it'll only take a few minutes.
Jack: It's not a good time.
Nick: Well, how about we give it a shot, then, all right? I'm in some trouble here. My insurance company's denying my claim. They're accusing me of arson. I know damn well I didn't start that fire.
Jack: And what? You think a stroke recovery patient, what, broke into your club when it was closed, torched the place, and then tiptoed back to her bed here?
Nick: I'm just looking for answers, all right? And this picture is too bizarre to ignore. Don't you think there's a chance that this picture is your mom's? If that's the case, maybe she was in the bar.
Jack: She could have lost that picture. Could have dropped it somewhere.
Nick: Well, then how about if I just ask her, all right? This is all I've got.
Jack: I'm sorry about that. I have other issues. So does my mother.
Nick: Yeah, I kind of assumed that considering she stuck a knife in my mom.
Jack: Okay, I'm not gonna do this.
Nick: If dina is behaving in this way, don't you think there's a chance she started that fire?
Jack: I'm not gonna argue with you.
Nick: I would really like some answers from you.
Jack: You got my answer. My answer is no.
Nick: Well, then how about if I just wait for ashley? Maybe she'll be more reasonable.
Jack: You're not waiting, nick. You're leaving.
Nick: Jack.
Jack: Go. Now. Please.
Nick: I'm not dropping this. Talking to you makes me think there's more going on here.
Jack: [ Sighs ]
Phyllis: Ooh, after a weekend like that and a ride home? I am the luckiest career gal in this whole big city.
Billy: Well, you deserve it, 'cause I'm the luckiest ex-bachelor in this whole city.
Phyllis: Oh, that's a sweet one, too. So, how were things in the leisure class today?
Billy: Leisurely classy.
Phyllis: Yeah? Any prospects on work? Any starts to those prospects?
Billy: Well, I did go to the top of the tower for lunch.
Phyllis: [ Chuckles ] Okay.
Billy: Mm-hmm. Um, after I finished eating, i snuck up onto the roof, and i stood on the edge, and I let the wind blow in my face, and i looked down at all the worker ants scurrying around in desperation, and I-I had a sudden realization that the last thing in the world I want to do is go home and pick out a three-piece custom suit and go to another soul-sucking corporate gig.
Phyllis: Okay.
Billy: Especially not after last weekend.
Phyllis: [ Laughs ] At least one of us is tasting the sweet freedom seven days a week.
Billy: Aww. You didn't have any fun today?
Phyllis: Oh, well, jack -- he bolted home early and leaving me to field questions from shook-up fenmore employees all day, like I can interpret what's going on in his mind.
Billy: That sounds terrible.
Phyllis: Yeah, I pretended to listen to their paranoid crackpot theories, but all i could think about was you and the weekend we had and how lucky we are with our life outside of here.
Billy: Hmm. We did let it get a little predictable, maybe.
Phyllis: Yeah, yeah.
Billy: Maybe just a little bit boring. But we fixed it. We're good now, right?
Phyllis: Yes, we're so good, because that's who we are, okay? Living life on the edge, it's way more appealing.
Billy: Well, I promise you on all my no-limit credit cards that I will keep it spontaneous and exciting and maybe possibly just a little bit dangerous.
Phyllis: Okay, that's good.
Billy: That sound okay?
Phyllis: That sounds really good. That sounds really hot, actually. Yeah.
Billy: Ooh.
Phyllis: [ Laughs ]
Billy: Careful.
Phyllis: Okay. Ooh.
Christine: Zack stinnett has been laundering sex ring profits through small businesses, llcs. Did you set one up to funnel earnings from designdate?
Victor: Mnh-mnh.
Christine: Did you have a meeting with a young russian woman named natalia?
Victor: No.
Christine: Did you ever use funds from either your personal account or newman enterprises to pay for sex with one or more of zack's prostitutes?
Victor: Your questions are beginning to annoy me.
Christine: So you're claiming no money was exchanged? As C.E.O., You are exempt from paying for services that designdate provided?
Michael: Your question, counselor?
Christine: [ Scoffs ] Did you ever have sex with any woman that worked for zack stinnett?
Victor: You just can't get over the fact that a judge commuted my prison sentence. Right? That's the crux of your anger, isn't it? That's why you're on this witch hunt.
Christine: Your company has been allegedly fronting a brutal operation that exploits young women, hook them on drugs, force them into sexual slavery, and murders them if they're out of line. At what point are you gonna start taking this seriously?
Michael: Perhaps when you show us proof that my client was directly involved or had knowledge of stinnett's crimes.
Christine: This is one conversation in an ongoing investigation.
Michael: It's starting to sound like harassment.
Victor: You and I have known each other for a long time. This is incredible what you're doing, your insinuations. But you're incapable of being objective regarding anything newman, aren't you? That suspicion was shared by one of your colleagues at a higher pay grade than you. On a recent hunting trip, he told me he would not allow you to continue your vendetta.
Christine: So you shoot a few ducks, subvert a little justice? It sounds like a party. I know all about your getaway with the old boys club, victor. I, too, have friends in high places, and they are asking me to pursue this to the fullest extent relentlessly, with every possible resource. And I have assured them of my total cooperation.
Chelsea: Don't get me wrong. I'm thrilled any clue survived that fire. And I think you're really on to something, but I also think you need to realize that there's a difference between finding an old photo in ashes and dina mergeron, arsonist.
Nick: I didn't even go over there to accuse her of anything, all right? I just...
[ Sighs ] I wanted to see if I could make sense of it, to see if it would lead to anything, but jack was so defensive and shifty. He practically threw this whole other theory at me. I just...
[ Sighs ] I don't know. Maybe I am just drawing straws and not exactly working on all cylinders after our trip to new orleans.
Chelsea: Me neither. Oh, my god. Today, all I could draw was, like, tassels and, like, sequins and sketches of, like, bows. It was very strange.
Nick: Yeah. This trip really messed with our heads.
Chelsea: Mm-hmm. I'm so tired. I feel like I could just close my eyes and just fall asleep just right here, right now.
Nick: Me, too.
Phyllis: Hey, billy! It's that cute and crazy couple we ran into in new orleans!
Billy: Bartender, a round of bourbons for my bourbon street friends here, please.
Phyllis: It's a sign running into you guys here.
Nick: What? That genoa city has a lot fewer hangouts than the big easy?
Phyllis: That our party didn't end when we got off the jet. It just took a little disco nap!
Billy: That's right. We're gonna revive it right now, right, sir? Perfect. There you go.
Chelsea: Oh.
Billy: One for you, one for you. My lady. Okay, look alive, because we are cheers-ing, aren't we, honey?
Phyllis: Mm-hmm. To our partners in crime.
Billy: And our partners in...
[ Laughs ]
Nick: The thing that happened in new orleans...
Billy: Hmm.
Nick: ...Will never be spoken of again.
All: Cheers.
Jack: I've been wondering something.
Dina: Mm-hmm?
Jack: Do you, uh, remember going out on halloween night?
Dina: Well, I'm a bit old for trick or treating, but back in the day, oh, boy.
Jack: I mean, do you recall leaving the house at all that night? Maybe finding your way to the underground?
Dina: You know I detest subways. Did they really install one in genoa city?
Jack: No, the underground was a -- it's a bar downtown. Nick newman owns it. Live music there. They -- they had a fire halloween night. Any of this sound familiar?
Dina: No, no, not at all.
Jack: If it did, it wouldn't bother me, I mean, you decide where you go for nightlife. But it was weird. Halloween night...
Dina: Yeah?
Jack: ...An album was missing here from the stereo. Strange thing is, a little bit later, I saw it on the turntable. "The moon and back." You know, the one you love, the one I got you? Did you maybe take that with you somewhere, you know, reminisce about old times?
Dina: I-I-I don't think so, but I-I really don't know for sure. I'd remember that, wouldn't I, hmm?
Jack: You don't remember anything about the fire?
[ "Moon and back" plays ]
I love you to the moon and back
Jack: Mother, did you maybe keep an old photo of brent davis back when you knew him?
I love you just the way you are
Dina: Sad memories. That's the only thing that photo was worth for -- sad memories, memories that...
[Voice breaking] That caused so much pain for ashley, terrible pain that I wanted to end.
Jack: I understand. I do.
My little shooting star
I want to give you a pocket...
Dina: Oh, my god.
Jack: What?
Dina: I... I was there that night. Wasn't I? Oh, do you really think I could have caused that fire?
[ Sobbing ] Oh, my god, jack, what is happening to me?
[ Sobs ]
Wherever you are
Victor: All right, this has taken enough of my time.
Michael: [ Sighs ] Mr. Newman has been very patient. He has answered all your questions.
Christine: That's a matter of opinion.
Michael: If you require any further information, we'll do our best to make ourselves available. But as of now, we're done. If you'll excuse us, paul. Victor?
Paul: Not so fast.
Victor: What's this?
Paul: The weapon that killed zack stinnett, found at the scene. It belongs to a newman.
Next on "the young and the restless"...
Jordan: I'll have something for you to remember me by.
Hilary: What does that mean?
Jordan: Stay tuned.
Victor: So you think this is the stand the company should take?
Victoria: Of course.
Victor: I don't think abby will see it that way.
Tessa: Didn't want to interrupt you and chief williams.
Nikki: He and I are done. You and I are just getting started.
