Episode # 11278 ~ A night to remember for the Newman family ends in disaster.

Provided By Suzanne

Abby: Today is your lucky day.

Ashley: Really? Did I win something?

Abby: [ Laughs ] Dad is throwing me a party tonight to celebrate designdate's raging success.

Ashley: Sweetie!

Abby: Yeah, and not only that, he's been very secretive, lots of closed-door meetings. I think he might be giving me a new title and a bigger role in the company.

[ Chuckles ]

Ashley: I'm so proud of you. Congratulations. You've worked so hard.

Abby: Oh, thank you.

Victor: Well, this is coming along well.

Victoria: Where are the flowers?

Victor: They'll be here shortly, I'm sure. Neil!

Neil: Well, just what I like to see. You're both here early. Good to see you.

Victoria: Yes. We're all yours.

Neil: Okay, good. Now, here it is. Our mission is to revise the brash & sassy narrative by announcing the merger with newman enterprises, obviously. Now, the brand is coming back to the fold. The whole idea -- coming home. Now, the added surprise is you, your appointment to C.O.O. And we have this wonderful chance to hit this news cycle for you, victoria, 'cause you're the face of the future. And at the same time, we're reinforcing the message that you're back. You're back working with your father, the big man on campus, the iconic victor newman. Yeah, father and daughter, the dream team sitting atop the almighty, ever-successful newman enterprises. Home run all day. What do you think?

Victor: Let's do it.

Cane: Hey.

Lily: Hey.

Cane: You okay?

Lily: Yeah, I, uh...

[ Sighs ] I had a dream that the twins were being born and... I was dying. It felt so real.

Cane: Yeah, it was all too real back then, wasn't it?

Lily: There was no miracle for juliet last night.

Cane: I still can't believe it.

Lily: Any word on the baby?

Cane: No, there's, uh, too many complications, and they just -- they don't know.

[ Door opens ]

Tessa: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you.

Crystal: No worries.

Tessa: I just, uh, came to check on you before I perform at this party.

Crystal: The newman thing?

Tessa: Yeah.

Crystal: Some life you've got now.

Tessa: You'll have one, too. Soon you won't have to hide from these people anymore. Zack will pay for what he did to you and all those other girls.

Crystal: People have said that before.

Scott: They're calling it a party, but it's really just a huge P.R. Op for newman.

Sharon: In honor of abby?

Scott: And designdate, newman's latest success story.

Sharon: Which is a front for a sex ring. Some success.

Scott: Zack's played this perfectly. Played abby perfectly. This is the culmination of all his efforts.

[ Sighs ] His chance to legitimize himself.

Sharon: It'd be a shame to ruin zack's big night.

Additional sponsorship provided by...

Lily: Poor, little boy. No mother, now fighting for his life. I feel sick about it.

Cane: All we can do now is pray.

Lily: I feel so guilty.

Cane: Why?

Lily: Because I was always so jealous of juliet. She could do something that i couldn't, you know. She could...carry your child. Whenever I would see her, it just felt like this slap in the face. I used to think sometimes that life would be better if she was just out of our lives for good.

Cane: I know you didn't want this. But what you're feeling is natural. It's human.

[ Cellphone rings ]

Lily: It's mattie. Hey, sweetie. What's going on?

Mattie: Hi, um, are you guys still at the hospital? What's going on? How's juliet and the baby?

Lily: Um, there's been some complications, but I'll -- I'll tell you about it later.

Mattie: Okay, um, well, the reason I'm calling, I was kind of hoping that I could be ungrounded just for tonight. There's this event that I really want to go to, and I won't be late, and there are gonna be a lot of adults there.

Lily: Um... yeah. Sure, fine. Just this once. And I'll check in with you later, okay?

Mattie: Okay. Sure. Thanks, mom. Sounds good. And tell dad I say hi.

Lily: All right. Will do.

Abby: Did I hear that uncle jack fired dina?

Ashley: Yeah, it wasn't fair to keep her on in that position. We were just asking too much of her because she's not able to operate a business on that level anymore.

Abby: She's not able?

Ashley: No. It's hard to hear it, but unfortunately, it's true. You know, the very first task that she took on here, her math was off by a mile. It was so bad that jack and i wondered then if we made a mistake by bringing her on board. But then the next day, she came up with a corrected version, so we gave her another chance. But since then, we've kind of realized that it was probably graham that redid her work for her.

Abby: That's not good.

Ashley: No, it's not. I'm very happy, though, that you and your grandmother have created this fantastic rapport. Maybe you can convince her that we're not trying to punish her. We don't really have a choice in this, you know. It's the only rational decision we could make.

Abby: You know, it's -- it's the weirdest thing. She and I were talking at crimson lights, and I left the table for a second. I turned back around, and she was stuffing sugar packets into her purse. I've heard of people being tightwads even when they're loaded, but dina?

Ashley: Do you think it's possible that it's been harder for her to adapt to moving in with jack and me than we thought? Maybe she's so proud, she doesn't want to ask mrs. Martinez where the sugar's kept?

Abby: Well, if that's the case, you need to give her a full tour asap.

Zack: Abby is over the moon. You must be so proud knowing that you can move her up in the company so that she can take over the reins someday. And putting her in the spotlight in front of all this business world, I-I can't tell you how much that means to her.

Victor: This isn't just about designdate, you know.

Zack: Oh, absolutely. Today is abby's day.

Victor: Mm-hmm. This is about the company and about the entire family.

Zack: Absolutely. I'm just here to cheer abby on, not toot my own horn.

Victor: Abby saw something in you and your idea, and she followed through on it. And she proved you right.

Zack: Well, that's very flattering.

Victor: Nothing to do with flattery. Numbers don't lie.

Victoria: Oh, I'm so glad you could make it.

Nikki: Oh, well, you, too. I know you and abby have had your moments, but it's very sweet of you to come out and support your sister for all of her success tonight.

Victoria: It's what family does for one another.

Nikki: Well, it looks beautiful. I'm sure abby is thrilled that victor went to so much trouble to celebrate her success.

Victoria: Well, it's an important night for all of us.

Neil: There she is, the lady of the evening. You look great. So stylish as always.

Nikki: Oh, my goodness. Thank you so much. I didn't know I was gonna see you tonight.

Neil: Well, my company just acquired power communications, you know. We're handling the newman account.

Nikki: Really?

Neil: Mm-hmm.

Nikki: The P.R. Company?

Neil: Wow. You've heard of them?

Nikki: Well, yes. Of course. They've handled the last several arts council galas for us.

Neil: Nice. And we're gonna continue to honor that, and we will donate our services.

Nikki: Well, thank you.

Neil: Okay, so, let me ask you a big favor.

Nikki: Sure.

Neil: We need a united front tonight, okay, for this project from the entire family. It's company branding. You're the matriarch, and I'm hoping that you will continue to play that role tonight. You know what I mean?

Nikki: I don't know. Do you mean you want victor and me to pretend that we have reconciled?

Victor: You have done it before.

Nikki: Well, that was then, and that was for the sake of the family.

Neil: Okay, well, listen, i hope I don't have to beg you for this. I mean, this is just for the cameras, couple of pictures and a few sound bites, and then you're gonna be done.

Victor: It's just a facade, you know, that we have so carefully cultivated to fool the rest of the world, and if you can't do that on this occasion for the family, then you shouldn't be here.

Nikki: Okay, fine. You win. You just tell me where you want me to stand and what you want me to say.

Sharon: Where's tessa?

Crystal: Uh, she just left to go sing for all the suits.

Scott: Zack's gonna be there. He is one of those suits.

Crystal: Uh, I don't understand.

Scott: Designdate is funded by newman enterprises.

Crystal: [ Scoffs ] Of course it is. 'Cause all people care about is money. They don't care how it gets made or who gets hurt. They just look the other way and rake in the cash.

Sharon: The people who invested in his company have no idea it's a front for organized prostitution.

Scott: Yeah, zack's careful. He plays it safe. He's been able to fool a lot of people, but here's the interesting part. I think we've been able to find a way to rattle him, get him to admit what he's involved in.

Crystal: How?

Scott: Well, if you were to show up at the party and confront him...

Crystal: Me?

Scott: ...And sharon got it on video, it'd be all the proof we need. And listen, I'll be right with you by your side the whole time. I mean, nothing bad will happen to you, I promise.

Sharon: Crystal, you don't have to do this. It's entirely your choice.

Scott: But it may be the best chance we have to nail the bastard.

Crystal: Sounds like a swanky occasion. I'm gonna need a killer outfit.

[ Doorbell rings ]

Reed: Hi.

Mattie: Hi. You look...

Reed: Beautiful.

Mattie: Thanks. Uh, come on in.

[ Chuckles ] So...this party.

Reed: Yeah, um, it's a business thing. I'm really not sure what to expect, but my grandfather and my mom wanted me there.

Mattie: Oh, okay. Well, either way, whatever. I just -- I-I really missed you.

Reed: I missed you, too.

Dina: Why are you going through my things?

Ashley: Your assistant boxed them up, and I was just gonna bring them home for you.

Dina: [ Scoffs ] Ashley, are you so eager to get me out of jabot that you don't want me to set foot in the building?

Ashley: Mother, I was honestly just trying to help you. Look, why don't I give you a ride home, and then we can get ready for abby's party together? I want to make sure I get there in plenty of time.

Dina: Oh, I see. Well, if that's directed at me, I can assure you I won't be the one to make us late.

Noah: Hey, grandpa.

Victor: Hey. How are you? Happy to see you.

Abby: [ Chuckles ]

Zack: Hey, gorgeous.

Abby: Hey, yourself.

Zack: You look incredible.

Abby: Oh, well, i feel incredible.

Zack: You have worked so hard for this, babe. Might not be my place to say it, but I'm proud of you.

Abby: Well, it is absolutely your place to say it, because none of this would be happening without you.

Zack: We make a great team.

Neil: So sorry. I see you're involved with conversation, but, uh, you ready for your close-up?

Abby: Yes, absolutely.

Neil: Good. Can you excuse us for a minute?

Zack: Of course.

Neil: Thank you. Appreciate that. Come on.

Abby: Hey, dad.

Victor: Darling, you look beautiful.

Abby: Mwah. Thank you.

Victor: Sweetheart.

Abby: Victoria, I'm so happy that you could be here to help me celebrate.

Victoria: Thank you. It's gonna be a memorable event.

Neil: Yes, it will be, for all of us. And, listen, while I have you all here, and before it gets too crazy, I need to get some family photos, if you wouldn't mind.

Victor: Oh, yeah.

Neil: Okay?

Abby: Yeah, certainly.

Neil: Cool. Come with me.

Abby: Okay.

Neil: All right.

Victor: There's reed! You're just in time for some family pictures. How are you?

Reed: I'm doing well.

Victor: How nice to see you.

Mattie: Hi. Nice to see you, too.

Reed: Um, is that all right?

Mattie: Oh, yeah. Uh, go ahead. I'm gonna go grab a soda.

Mattie: Hey, uh, victor, can I borrow you?

Victor: Yeah.

Neil: Thanks.

Victoria: Hi, honey.

Reed: Hi, mom.

Victoria: How are you feeling?

Reed: I'm fine, honestly.

Victoria: Okay. You look so handsome in your suit.

Reed: Thank you.

Victoria: You know, I'm surprised that lily let mattie come with you.

Reed: I know. I mean, after everything that happened, I thought we'd never be able to see each other again, but here I am. I have an evening with her.

Victoria: [ Chuckles ]

Neil: Victoria, reed, can i get you in the shot? Come on.

Victoria: Of course.

Neil: Okay. Looking handsome. I like that.

Reed: Thank you, sir.

Neil: Yes, yes, yes. All right, why don't we have, um, noah and reed, I want you to stand to the left of your grandfather.

Reed: You got it.

Neil: Like that. Let me see you. Okay. Nice. And, victoria, I want you to stand next to your sister. Stand next to abby.

Victoria: Okay.

Neil: In the power position.

Victoria: All right.

Neil: Both of you in the power position, yeah. Um, what's missing? Nikki, I want you to move in -- you need to move in closer to victor.

Nikki: Oh, no, I'm fine right here, thanks.

Neil: Well, no, I-I -- we need to tighten this family shot. If you wouldn't mind. Please, can you move next to victor?

Nikki: [ Clears throat ]

Neil: And, victor, would you mind holding nikki's hand?

Nikki: I thought we weren't gonna do this.

Victor: We're going to do this right now, for the family, okay?

Neil: Okay. This is beautiful. The newman family. Okay, listen, I'm gonna leave you in the capable hands of mark, all right? Thank you.

Victor: Thank you, neil.

Neil: Thank you. Appreciate it.

Victor: Yep.

Neil: Do your thing.

[ Camera shutter clicking ] Hey.

Mattie: Hi.

Neil: This is the last place I expected to see you.

Mattie: If you're wondering what I'm doing here with reed, i asked my mom, and she gave me permission. You can even call her. She's still at the hospital with my dad making sure that juliet and the baby are okay.

Lily: Were you able to get ahold of juliet's father again?

Cane: Yep. I talked to him. He barely reacted.

Lily: What?

Cane: I told him his daughter died. He said, "thank you for the call." He didn't even ask about the child.

Lily: Seriously?

Cane: Yeah. I, um...I told him that the baby survived and was, uh, premature and has all these medical complications, and he cut me off, and he said the same thing as last night. Doesn't want to know about the baby. Doesn't want to know about juliet. I said to him, I said, "this is your grandson."

Lily: What did he say to that?

Cane: He didn't want to know. Didn't care. He didn't even ask about juliet's funeral arrangements. And it just -- it just hit me. It hit me that this -- this is my son, and I'm all he has now in this world.

Lily: What's all that?

Cane: It's insurance paperwork.

Lily: What is it?

Cane: It's the birth certificate. Name is blank.

Lily: Well, did you and juliet ever discuss a name?

Cane: No, once or twice, but nothing really stuck.

Lily: Well, I don't know. What about... what about the name sam?

Cane: Sam? Why?

Lily: As a tribute to your sister, samantha.

Cane: You know, I never would have thought of that. It's a wonderful idea. Especially since it's yours.

Lily: You know, this baby is innocent in all of this, and coming into this world with no mother, I think it's even more important that he has a strong connection to you.

Cane: You okay?

Lily: I just had this... this feeling that... juliet's watching over him, that you two aren't alone.

Neil: So good to see you.

Ashley: Hi!

Dina: Neil, hello, dear.

Neil: Hi. Haven't seen you since you won your award.

Dina: Oh, that was an evening we won't soon forget.

[ Chuckles ]

Neil: Yes. Lot of drama that night, huh?

Ashley: Yeah, it sure was.

Neil: Which doesn't diminish your accomplishments in the slightest. Your award was an excellent addition to your already glittering career.

Ashley: [ Chuckles ] You've had quite a year. New company and, uh, new clothes.

Neil: Yeah, you like these, huh? Well, my son said I was in a sartorial rut.

Ashley: Oh, really?

Neil: Yeah.

Ashley: Our kids can be so helpful that way, can't they?

Neil: Yes.

Ashley: I never saw anything wrong with the way you were dressing, just so you know.

Neil: Well, you know as well as I do, I've been in the corporate world for a long, long time. My son and I, we're in a creative field, and, you know, we're operating at a higher level, so I thought I should just, uh, project a different image.

Ashley: Well, you know what? I think you're hitting a home run.

Neil: Yeah.

Ashley: You look good.

Neil: Thank you. You know what? I think that maybe we should have a drink later. I'd like to make a toast --

Ashley: Yeah?

Neil: Yeah -- to my favorite innovator.

Ashley: Why? Because the original celebration went so far off the rails?

Neil: That, and I think we're long overdue for a catch-up.

Ashley: I'd like that.

Neil: Me, too. Good seeing you.

Ashley: Okay. You're looking good, neil.

Neil: [ Laughs ] All right. Looking good. Mark, can you get some singles of these beautiful young ladies? Can I -- abby, can you... victoria?

Abby: Of course. [ Chuckles ]

Neil: Oh, it's gonna be beautiful. I don't need to do anything.

Abby: Am I good? Okay.

Neil: Yeah, you're fine.

[ Camera shutter clicking ]

Victoria: [ Sighs ]

Noah: I was psyched about the expansion plans. But after the fire, dad said he's done.

Victor: What do you mean, done?

Noah: He doesn't want to build. He just walked away.

Victor: He left you holding the bag?

Noah: Money-wise, no. But, I mean, damn, come on, I've been pouring my heart into this for months, and then suddenly that's it. No more underground, here or anywhere. And it was my dream to expand the place, make it a chain, and now I don't even have a job.

Victor: I understand your frustration. Why don't you look at this as an opportunity?

Noah: Opportunity how?

Victor: You know, this party tonight here is for the future, future of our family, future of the business. Might be a good time for you to jump back on board.

Noah: Back at newman?

Victor: Yeah.

Noah: Listen, no disrespect, grandpa, but I-I tried the corporate life. It's just not for me.

Victor: But I'm not suggesting that you sit in an office. Got to tell you a little secret. The lady who runs this top of the tower is moving back to her hometown. She's opening a restaurant in montreal.

Noah: You want me to manage the top of the tower?

Victor: Why not? Put all of your energy and your passion into running this place, from the kitchen to the front door to the whole thing. Huh? You could do worse.

Noah: Wow, it's -- it's an amazing offer, really.

Victor: Yeah.

Noah: I appreciate it. Just...I'm sorry. I have to say no. The entertainment's here.

Victor: I see. All right. I understand.

Noah: [ Chuckles ]

Victor: We'll talk later.

Noah: Okay.

Abby: Thank you. You know, victoria, I-I do believe that things are gonna turn around for you soon.

Victoria: Um, thank you. I appreciate that.

Abby: She's all yours.

Neil: Thanks. Okay. Step on in.

Zack: Finally.

Abby: Ohh. Did you miss me?

Zack: You know I did.

Abby: [ Chuckles ]

[ Gasps ] Ah, my hero. Hmm. How did you know I was gonna be parched?

Zack: Because being a star is thirsty work.

Abby: You always know the right thing to say to me. And, yes, it is, and I totally am. My dad is finally giving me the recognition I deserve.

Zack: This is just the beginning for you, abby, and for us.

Victor: Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention, please? I will now explain to you why we have gathered here tonight.

"The young and the restless" will continue.

Lily: I know it's no crimson lights, but I got you a coffee and muffin.

Cane: Thank you for doing this.

Lily: Well, you've barely eaten anything. I'm sure you'll be hungry eventually.

Cane: Uh, I actually meant for, uh, for staying here, 'cause you didn't have to do it.

Lily: There was an emergency, and I did what I could to help. But I think I should head home now.

Cane: Yeah, no, I-i understand.

Lily: I think you're a wonderful father. And that boy is lucky to have you.

Victor: Now, many of you know that we newmans have a reputation of bouncing back from adversity. We never give up. We never quit. A perfect example of that is my daughter, abby. Little while ago, she came to me with an idea for an incubator project. She wanted to design one of those dating apps. Lo and behold, unbeknownst to me, she pursued that idea and actually drove it to fruition. I look at the numbers, and i said, "you can't be serious." I was stunned, meaning that in the future, that design app would be part of newman enterprises as a very profitable part. I mention abby as an example of the new generation of newmans who will contribute to my company. They will drive the company to the future, and it starts right here, right now tonight. Effective immediately, I've assigned my daughter victoria as the chief operating officer of newman enterprises. She will be the new C.O.O., My right hand, my second-in-command. Now, whilst exercising her duty as the C.O.O., She will also manage to look over her business, the business of brash & sassy cosmetics. So, the reason you're all here is because I would like you to help me welcome back my beautiful daughter victoria to the family fold of newman enterprises.

[ Applause ]

Victoria: Thank you very much. Thank you, dad, for your vote of confidence. And I am gonna do my best to live up the impossibly high standards I know you'll set for me. This is an incredible opportunity, and I intend to make the most of it, so thank you.

[ Applause ]

Scott: You okay?

Abby: Did you know about this?

Scott: No. No, no, no. But that's your father. He loves to keep everyone guessing.

Abby: He -- he lied. He -- he lied about this party. He lied about my future. He lied about everything.

Scott: For the record, i think you deserve better.

Zack: What the hell just happened?

Abby: I got screwed. That's what just happened. Um, I-I need to go before i completely lose it. Um...

Zack: No, abby, please. Just stay.

Scott: For once, I actually agree with your boyfriend. Look, I'm gonna go get some clarification. Excuse me.

Abby: I'm sorry. I-I don't want to hang around here and watch victoria basking in her glory, gloating, okay?

Zack: Hey, hey, hey, hey. About what? Hmm? I didn't hear victor talking about some great triumph of hers at brash & sassy, because there was none. He bailed her out, gave her a title so she can save face. You're the one that's been delivering results, and you'll continue to do so. Don't give her the satisfaction of seeing you slink off. Put on your game face and go congratulate her, okay?

Scott: I'd like you to clarify that I'll, uh, still be reporting directly to you?

Victor: Ultimately, yes.

Victoria: I'll be meeting with the senior staff next week. We have a lot to discuss. Hmm.

Victor: Excuse me.

Victoria: In the meantime, I'm gonna need a full report from you on my desk detailing your job description and a list of things that you're currently working on.

Victor: Ladies and gentlemen, I would like you to welcome the lady who will entertain us tonight, miss tessa porter.

[ Applause ]

Tessa: I think you want to kiss me, too

it's a sensitive issue

but I got to tell you

I want a piece of you

Victoria: So how does it feel when you imagine yourself running a place like this?

Tessa: I feel you inside me

Noah: I admit it. It's a great opportunity.

Tessa: You're excited, too

Victoria: How does it feel?

Tessa: You push the right buttons

Noah: Okay. Okay, it's a -- it's a rush.

Victoria: Well, that's the definition of the right job. You know, people go their entire lives without feeling that way, and your grandpa is giving it to you. He's giving you the perfect job. You know dad wants us all to work together as a family again. This could be a really exciting, new era for all of us. Don't you want to be a part of that? You'll be coming from a place of strength. You can ask for things that you normally couldn't have asked for before.

Noah: It's tempting. I...

Victoria: [ Sighs ] Noah, come on. Please, do it for me. I want to see our family reunited, too. I really do. And look, I'll be in a position where I'll make sure that it doesn't go back to how it used to be when dad had the final say on everything.

Noah: Do you really think it'll be different this time?

Victoria: I wouldn't be here if I didn'T.

Noah: Okay. Okay. I'm in.

Victoria: So you'll take over managing this place?

Noah: I mean, you kind of just made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

Victoria: Okay, that's fabulous. I'm so happy to hear that. Good. Okay. So go back to the party and enjoy yourself, and we'll talk about it tomorrow.

Noah: Okay. I was hoping you'd say that. I'm gonna go watch tessa.

Victoria: Yes, go. Call me tomorrow.

Noah: I will.

Tessa: I like to be your sickness

I want a piece of you

Abby: Well, um, no one saw that one coming, least of all me.

Victoria: Abby --

Abby: No, um, victoria, i just, um, I wanted to say welcome back. I hope that we can work together for a common good. I know we've had our issues in the past, but now we have our own divisions to run.

Victoria: Well, you're handling this very graciously, very mature. But I am C.O.O. I hope you understand you're gonna be reporting to me. You have to run everything past me.

Abby: I can't believe this is happening. Dad led me to believe that I was next in line.

Victoria: Oh, he said that, did he?

Abby: Well, not in so many words, but the implication was clear. And you, you just sail back in here after you almost go bankrupt, when you need rescuing. Tonight was supposed to be my celebration.

Victoria: Oh, abby, please suck it up. Everyone knows you're not ready to take over the company.

Abby: Yeah, says the woman who ran your tiny, little makeup "empire" right into the ground in less than a year.

Victor: My dear abby. I know this came as a surprise to you. But I want you to know that your role at newman enterprises will continue to be much appreciated. Your contributions will be valued, okay?

Abby: A surprise? That's what this is?

Victor: Yes.

Abby: No, a surprise is someone popping out of a huge cake. A surprise is a car for my birthday. This -- this just isn't fair.

Victor: She'll get over it.

Victoria: Or not. And that will be fine, too.

Tessa: This feels like A...

Zack: Abby? Let's get out of here. You've been through enough tonight. Okay?

Scott: You look a little rattled there, zack, almost like you've seen a ghost. Unlike poor natalia, crystal is very much alive.

Abby: What's this about?

Sharon: Zack has been using designdate as a front for a sex-trafficking ring.

Abby: What? Sharon, no -- no, that -- that can't be.

Crystal: I worked for him. I was one of his girls. They start off by saying that they're gonna take care of you, but then they start --

Zack: Careful what you say, whoever you are. These people got you in a situation that could end up badly.

Scott: Why you making threats when you got nothing to hide?

Abby: What's going on, zack? Tell me the truth.

Zack: Abby, I swear, I have no idea what they're talking about. Excuse us? Listen, I've had about enough of your garbage, okay? I've gone along, said nothing, done nothing, but this time, there are gonna be consequences. So back off.

Scott: No, no, no.

Crystal: You got me hooked on drugs! You kept me a prisoner, just like all those other girls! Admit it!

Zack: Or what? Who the hell are you?

Abby: Why are you doing this?

Zack: I was wondering the same thing. I think he can't stand to see you happy and successful. Obviously he's jealous.

Abby: Well?

Zack: Yeah. I thought so.

Crystal: Everybody, listen. Please listen to me. This thing you're celebrating, designdate, the dating part is just a front. It's flooded with girls who are owned, operated, and trafficked by him! There! Zack stinnett! I would know what I'm talking about. I was one of them, forced into prostitution and intimidated by threats of violence every day! And it's all being paid for by newman enterprises.

[ Camera shutter clicking ]

Neil: No. No, no, no. No pictures, please. Stop!

Tessa: It's okay.

Victoria: Mom!

Nikki: Somebody help me! Oh, my god!

Zack: Come on.

Nikki: Ah!

Zack: [ Slamming button ]

Scott: Abby? Abby! Abby!

Paul: Sure, she did.
