Episode # 11226 ~ Billy and Victoria retaliate against Cane; Sharon's attempt to help Crystal backfires; Hilary questions Jordan about his feelings for Lily.
Provided By Suzanne
Billy: You're not very good at this, jesse. You're careless, okay? You talk too much. You shouldn't be talking about your personal business in public.
Jesse: Dude, I don't know what you're talking about.
Billy: You don't know what I'm talking about? After our conversation here, I went down to "gc buzz," and I got ahold of the raw footage, you know, the stuff that you cut.
Jesse: What? No --
Billy: You cut the footage to make me look bad, didn't you? And then I come here and I see you and cane, thick as thieves. Guess what, man? You're on my territory now. And the D.A. And the police chief, they're really good friends of mine.
Jesse: Hey, look, I -- I just came here to see if i could score a job on hilary's show. I got nothing else to say to you.
Billy: You better start talking, jesse, or I'm gonna start making phone calls. It's up to you.
Lily: Yeah, there's $25,000 missing from our school savings account. So there's some sort of mistake or there's been identity theft. What transfer? Uh, when?
Cane: Hey.
Lily: What have you done?
Abby: Wow.
[ Chuckles ]
Zack: I have been wanting to do that ever since we first went out to test the dating app.
Abby: Do what?
Zack: The kiss.
Abby: [ Laughs ]
Zack: You forgot already? And here I've been, wondering this whole time what it would be like, and...
Abby: And...?
Zack: And my technique obviously needs some work, but after that, I could see it becoming habit for me.
Abby: Don't get used to it.
Zack: You're kidding.
Abby: [ Giggles ]
Zack: I hope.
Abby: Oh! Mom! Hey!
Ashley: Hi.
Sharon: I kept trying to find out where she was so I could get her some help, but she couldn't bring herself to trust me.
Scott: Hey, listen, she called the crisis line a second time. That has to count for something.
Sharon: She's desperate to get out of this situation and away from the monsters who are exploiting her.
Scott: Yeah.
Sharon: Paul was there with me. He said that I handled it well, but obviously...
Scott: No, what he told you was the absolute truth. You just need to maintain your objectivity. It's hard to do when you're trying to help people like this, but it's vital.
Sharon: Yeah, paul was right about something else. I need to let the police handle this.
Scott: Yeah.
Sharon: But crystal's voice, it haunts me. I -- I just can't get it out of my mind.
Nick: It's okay. I'm not gonna hurt you. Okay? I can take you to my club. It's right next door. I'll help you. You have my word. It's okay.

Chelsea: Everything's restocked. Let the games begin.
Nick: Uh, you are never gonna believe what just happened.
Chelsea: What? What's going on?
Nick: I just found this girl out back, hiding behind the dumpster, scared out of her mind.
Chelsea: Is she still out there?
Nick: I brought her into the office. I don't know what her story is, but clearly she is hiding from someone. She's not saying much. She's really scared.
Chelsea: So, what are you gonna do?
Nick: Uh, well, I was thinking maybe she would be more comfortable, you know, talking to a woman. Would you mind...?
Chelsea: Oh, yeah, no. Of course.
Nick: Thanks.
Chelsea: Of course.
Chelsea: Hey.
Who are you?
Chelsea: I'm a friend of nick'S. He's the man who brought you here. He's a really great person, and he cares. He thought maybe it would be easier for you to talk to me. I'm chelsea. What about you? What's your name?
Connie.
Chelsea: Okay. I have a feeling it's not really connie, though. I know you're scared. I want you to know that I'm on your side, and I'm here to help you. I just -- I just want to know who I'm helping.
Crystal.
Chelsea: Crystal. Okay. Okay, crystal, are you hurt? Do you need any medical attention or anything? What happened? What are you afraid of? You seem very scared. Um, do you -- do you have family, maybe somebody that we can call?
No.
Chelsea: It's okay! Don't worry! It's okay. Nobody is gonna make you do anything you don't want to do.
Hilary: Jordan, why are you acting this way?
Jordan: Seriously? You have to ask? Lily is going through hell right now. Her kids have had their world turned upside-down. She's the one that's trying to hold it together, the lone bread-winner.
Hilary: You're acting like cane has been out of work for a year. You see the way they live. It's not like they're hurting for money.
Jordan: The tv spot that she auditioned for was a big deal for her, and you knew that. Yet you -- you just couldn't let her have it. You just had to go behind her back and put it on tape and then snake her whole commercial from her.
Hilary: Excuse me?
Her commercial?
Lily: I went online to pay the kids' tuition, which is due now, and the money that we put aside in their savings account wasn't there. So I call the bank, and apparently, some large transfer's been made by you. What's going on?
Cane: Okay, um... after my job offer at jabot fell through, I realized I needed to try and make some money so i could take the pressure off you and this -- this short-term investment opportunity came up, and I had to act on it immediately, and it's -- it's not gonna make us a lot of money, but it's gonna be worthwhile. Okay?
Billy: Knock, knock. We have a visitor in the building. Remember our favorite cameraman, jesse?
Victoria: What's he doing here? I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I've had a long day. Hi, jesse. What brings you to genoa city?
Billy: He had a meeting with our favorite ex-employee, cane.
Victoria: About what?
Billy: About the behind-the-scenes footage that he shot while I was talking to the hockey players. All of the footage. I decided to give, uh, jesse here an option. He can either tell us about the deal he made with cane, or he can tell the police.
Jesse: Look, man, you were the one talking trash with the players. I taped it, gave you what I had. End of story.
Billy: It's not the end of the story, jesse, because the end of story didn't make it into the final cut.
Jesse: I haven't broken any laws.
Billy: No? You sure? What about that wad of money that's gonna be found in your bank account? That's gonna raise some uncomfortable questions if you decide to go to the police. On the other hand, I'm sure victoria here would be willing to pay for the information. Isn't that right, vick?
Victoria: Absolutely.
Zack: Here you go.
Abby: Thank you.
Ashley: Thank you so much.
Zack: Of course. To health and success.
Ashley: Cheers.
Abby: Cheers.
Ashley: So, zack, we never got a chance to really get to know each other when we met at the benefit.
Zack: Yeah, a pity. That was, uh, technically our third date, wasn't it?
Abby: Yes. I just wish it hadn't been so drama-filled.
Ashley: Those newmans. They really like to shake things up.
[ Laughter ]
Zack: I thought abby's step-mother played beautifully, and they raised a ton of money for M.S. Research. So, aside from the little punch-out in the parking garage, I think it was a pretty good night. Can't wait for the next one.
Abby: Yeah.
[ Cellphone rings ] Oh! Um, I am so sorry. I have to take this. It's super-important. Um, excuse me.
Ashley: So, tell me about yourself.
Charlie: Let me guess -- the chump went running to you after he and I talked?
Mattie: You need to stop acting like such a jerk, charlie. Don't take it out on reed because you're mad about everything that's going on at home. Look, I want to hear reed play at open mic tonight, but I don't want it to be a thing with mom and dad.
Charlie: So, what does that mean, you're gonna lie?
Mattie: They're dealing with enough right now, wouldn't you say? I don't want to add to that. It's not like I'm sneaking around the way you have. Plus, mom knows reed and I are friends.
Charlie: You've just got so much going for you. I don't think this guy's worth it. I -- I don't know why you're doing this, but I know why he is. I know what guys are like.
Mattie: But you don't know him. Charlie, please, I never ask you for anything.
Charlie: Okay.
Mattie: Thank you.
Reed: Hey, nick!
Nick: Oh! Hey, bud. A little early, aren't you?
Reed: Yeah. I wanted to lock in a slot.
Nick: Okay. Got anybody special coming?
Reed: [ Sighs ] I think. You know...
Nick: Done. Consider yourself a headliner.
Reed: Right on, man. Thanks.
Nick: Sure. Sure. Hey, uh, how's your mom? She took that fall at the benefit concert. She swears she's okay, but i wanted to get your take on it.
Reed: She went to a doctor and got all checked out, and everything's good, so it doesn't look like she's gonna be suing aunt abby anytime soon. 'Cause she threw the drink in her face. I was just kidding.
Nick: No, no, no. I got it. Um, if I were you, I wouldn't be joking around about lawsuits in front of your mom right now.
Billy: So what's it gonna be, jesse? I mean, come on. We almost had a deal, and then you changed your mind. Did you and cane finally agree on a price?
Victoria: Billy, stop. That's enough. Whatever financial arrangement that cane made with jesse, that's their business. But for the right information, or maybe the right piece of footage, I'd be willing to pay double.
Billy: Whoa. Victoria. Okay, I mean, hey, you're the boss. But just so you know, I know that you're lying, okay? So if you want to take the chance, put your ass on the line because of some misguided loyalty to cane...
Jesse: You kidding me? No way.
Victoria: Good, because the tv spot that we never got to use cost my company a small fortune.
Billy: Do you know who this is, jesse? This is victoria newman. Victor newman's daughter. Now, that might not mean a lot to you in the city of angels, but around here, it means a whole hell of a lot, and we have enough connections to make sure that you never work again. Do you understand me?
Jesse: You can't put this on me. Look, I had no idea that footage was gonna air on tv. And neither did cane. That wasn't the plan.
Billy: What was the plan?
Jesse: [ Scoffs ] Cane paid me to edit the footage, to end it with you talking about gambling with the players and to cut the part where you said you were joking.
Victoria: Why?
Jesse: To make billy look bad to the hockey league. I mean, the rest -- that was just crappy luck.
Billy: I assume that you have proof of that.
Jesse: Mm-hmm. Yeah, I got the memory card with all the footage.
Billy: Let's see it.
Victoria: I said I would double cane's investment. A deal's a deal. How much?
Jesse: Uh... that's $50,000. Here you go.
Billy: Is this the only copy?
Jesse: It's the original. I swear.
Billy: Thank you very much, jesse. Now you can get out of here, you blackmailing scumbag.
Jesse: No, but the money. I mean, you --
Billy: We lied, all right?
Victoria: You got a cash payout from cane for $25,000. Now you get to walk out of here and go home. I suggest you do that before i change my mind.
Jesse: [ Scoffs ] What are you gonna do now that you know?
Victoria: Why don't you stick around and find out?
Billy: [ Exhales sharply ] Damn. We're good.
Chelsea: So far, all I've learned is that her name is crystal. I asked if she had any family, anybody that she wanted us to call, and it just made her more upset.
Nick: I can't stop thinking about my own daughters, you know? If they were a terrible situation like that, alone and scared...
Chelsea: And hungry. Luckily, we can take care of that. Don't worry. Once she realizes she can trust us, she'll -- she'll open up more. It's gonna be okay.
Nick: Yeah.
Reed: Hey, nick. Nothing's coming out of the mic.
Nick: Uh, noah probably forgot to just patch it in after he used it for the benefit. Just talk to jake. He'll hook you up.
Reed: All right. Cool. Um, also, one more thing, could I reserve a table in case my friend does show up?
Nick: Mm. Yeah, you can. Anyone I know?
Reed: Hey.
Sharon: Hey, reed. Are you performing tonight?
Reed: Yeah, I sure am.
Sharon: Great.
Reed: I'm gonna be right back.
Scott: Hey. Break a leg. Have fun.
Sharon: Hi, nick.
Nick: 'Sup?
Scott: How's it going, champ? Any upcoming bouts?
Sharon: Scott.
Nick: Hm, so clearly you saw the segment on "the hilary hour" about the benefit.
Scott: Kind of hard to avoid, particularly the clip of victor poppin' you one in the jaw. It's been posted all over the web.
Nick: [ Laughs ] Yeah, just part of my dad's plan to make me look as bad as possible, but I'm assuming you already knew that since you're his new protégé.
Scott: You know, all I did is work my butt off to make the concert and fundraiser a success for your mother, the medical school, and your family. You looking bad, that was all on you, my friend.
Billy: Is cane really that threatened that he would go this far?
Victoria: This stunt nearly drove brash & sassy! Into a ditch. As it is, we'll be recovering from this for who knows how long.
Billy: And for what reason? I mean, honestly, just to take me down? To wreck everything that I've worked so hard for with the hockey tie-in? Doesn't it seem a little bit petty? But it all makes sense now, doesn't it? I mean... he was fighting so hard to get me fired when everything exploded. He wanted me out of here so bad just so he could feel like the big man.
Victoria: Well, instead, he ruined lily's big break, got juliet fired, and caused a sexual harassment suit.
Billy: Yeah, and look at the mess he's got himself in now.
Victoria: Well, you know what they say about karma.
Billy: Yeah. I do.
Victoria: You know, cane shelled out a lot of cash to keep this secret with jesse, but it got exposed anyway. So I guess it proves that old adage that two people can keep a secret, as long as one of them's dead.
Billy: This is unbelievable. I have to say, victoria, I'm impressed -- the way you got jesse to admit the amount of money that he got out of cane...
Victoria: Well, I'd like to sue his sorry backside for what he's cost this company.
Billy: Can't get blood out of turnip, can you? Besides, lily's the one that's supporting the family right now. So, realistically, it would be her and the kids that would pay the most.
Victoria: Are you suggesting that I let him get away with this?
Billy: Hell, no.
Cane: I know you're worried about money, even though you're trying not to show it, okay? But I can't just sit back and let this all fall on you, baby, because you're already dealing with enough.
Lily: Cane...
Cane: I know I've put this family through hell, and now I'm fighting to be the man that you fell in love with and the father that the kids can look up to and trust, right? But more than that, frankly, I'm trying to do this for myself, so I can prove that I can still provide for the family financially.
Lily: Listen, I understand that. I do.
Cane: Okay.
Lily: But of all the times to make a decision without me? There was $30,000 in that account, $25,000 of which is due tonight. Walnut grove won't take a 20% down payment.
Cane: Well, I can write the check out the brokerage account.
Lily: I don't want to touch that money.
Cane: All I'm doing, then, is moving money from one investment opportunity to another.
Lily: Then why wouldn't you do that in the first place?
Cane: [ Sighs ] Because when the investment opportunity came up, I didn't have the funds 'cause I wasn't liquid, okay? Listen, all I've got to do is just make some trades. I can transfer the money into the tuition account, all right, sweetheart? We have the money for this. Baby, we have the money for this. We're okay.
Lily: Fine. I guess it's good that you found a way to get income because i found out today I didn't get that commercial.
Cane: I'm sorry. Look, I know it's more than just the money. Because you want to take your career to the next level, but, baby, look at me. It's gonna happen. It's gonna happen. It's gonna happen for you. I promise you.
Lily: Hi.
Cane: Hey.
Mattie: Hey! Uh, would it be okay if I went out tonight?
Cane: Uh...
Lily: What -- what are your plans?
Mattie: Oh, you know, hang out with friends, maybe see a movie at the mall.
Cane: Sure. Go have fun. You've earned it.
Mattie: Thank you! Don't worry, I'll be home by curfew.
Hilary: Lily's commercial? Yeah, I'm -- I'm sure that it would have been lily's commercial if she had the talent to book it, but she didn't, did she? I did. The client and the agency -- they chose me over every other woman who auditioned, including lily.
Jordan: Listen, she had an agent that kept her in the running, you didn'T.
Hilary: So what? That's how the industry works now, jordan. You can submit yourself! Actors do it all the time. Lily -- she had you shoot and direct her audition. I didn't make a big deal about that. And I didn't snivel when barry chose not to represent me. People have doors closed in their faces all the time. People blow smoke, they talk big, they make promises that they never deliver on. That's why you have to believe in yourself. I made this happen for me. On my own, with my own talent and determination. I thought you'd be happy about that. Instead of congratulating me, here you are, accusing me of stealing lily's commercial, as if it was ever hers to begin. Why, huh? Why? I would like to know! Why?
Jordan: I don't know.
Hilary: [ Scoffs ] I think you do know. I think you know why you made this personal. Maybe you care about lily more than you're saying.
Jordan: Maybe I do.
"The young and the restless"
will continue.
Zack: So, that's basically what's gonna set this platform apart from the rest.
Ashley: It sounds amazing.
Zack: Hopefully it will be. We're still finalizing the rollout plan and the seo strategy.
Ashley: It's not easy. Ravi -- he's my tech guy -- he and I had our fair share of problems with the initial launch of jabotgo.
Zack: It comes with the territory.
Ashley: You know what, unfortunately it does. So, what are you gonna do about scam artists and those people that create fake profiles?
Zack: We have a zero-tolerance policy. We have an unique algorithm and also live human moderators. Our whole philosophy is simple. Keep it safe, honest, and enjoyable -- exactly like a real relationship should be.
Ashley: Ideally. I got to tell you something. I was skeptical, but I'm -- I'm impressed. It really sounds like you're bringing something fresh and really thought-out to the category. Good for you. I can't wait to see the finished product. Will you let me know when it launches?
Zack: Happy to.
Ashley: Warning -- I'm not afraid to say what's on my mind.
Zack: You and your daughter both. Now I see where she gets it. Although, I doubt abby will ever have any use for this app. I was so knocked out by her when we first met. The whole tech start-up incubator project, how she's managing it, her ideas... the more I talked to her, the more impressed I was, the more I wanted to get to know her, spend time with her. Should I even be telling you all of this?
Ashley: [ Laughs ] Well...
Abby: Ugh. I am so sorry. Sorry for abandoning you.
Zack: It's no problem. Actually, I need to get going. I have a couple tests I need to run on the system. This has been a fun break.
Abby: Yeah, it was.
Zack: I'm so glad I got the opportunity to meet you.
Ashley: Yeah, me, too. It was enjoyable. I'd wish you luck, but I don't think you're gonna need it.
Zack: Thanks. And you will be the first to know if it goes well or not.
Abby: [ Laughs ]
Ashley: Bye.
Abby: Bye. Mmm.
Ashley: I like him.
Abby: Zack? Yeah. Yep, he is great.
Ashley: And he's clearly interested in you. So why are you holding back?
Abby: Why would you say that I'm holding back?
Ashley: Honey, I know you so well. Come on, what's the problem?
Abby: It's me. You know, the whole idea of online dating -- swipe this way, swipe that way -- everything so easily goes in the trash. It seems cold and impersonal.
Ashley: I'm not talking about the app. By the way, zack said he didn't think you'd ever have to use the app, which I thought was really sweet of him. So, what about you? How do you feel about him?
Abby: I like him. And that's the problem. The whole idea of opening up to someone again... I mea, I put myself out there with stitch, with his son... and, well, I lost everything. I lost my marriage, I lost my baby, I lost everything that mattered. So that feeling of opening up again, I -- I can't trust it. It's too dangerous.
Sharon: Whoa, you guys. Just relax, okay? Relax.
Scott: Hey, I'm gonna grab us some drinks. What can I get for you?
Sharon: The usual's fine.
Scott: All right.
Sharon: I realize that you're upset, but why are you taking it out on scott?
Nick: [ Sighs ] Look, he just -- he gets to me, all right? This "crusading" journalist thing he's got going on, there's more to it than that.
Sharon: Like what?
Nick: I don't know, but the way he positioned himself with my dad is no accident.
Sharon: Well, victor saved his life. Scott's just trying to repay the favor.
Nick: Well, I think he's an opportunist. You may not want to hear it, but I'm just keeping it real with you.
Sharon: Nicholas...
Nick: Just promise me you'll be careful, okay?
Sharon: I appreciate it that you have my best interest at heart, but I don't actually believe this is about scott.
Nick: Really? Well, then, what do you think it's about?
Sharon: Your father. And the way that he's cut you out of his life recently. Now scott is working so closely by his side. Whether or not you want to admit it, I think that's got to get to you on some level. But it's not scott's fault, so just would you lay off, please? For me?
Chelsea: Hey.
Nick: Hey. How'd it go?
Sharon: Hi, chelsea.
Chelsea: Oh, my god. She was starved.
Nick: We found this girl out back behind the dumpsters -- scared, alone. I mean, definitely homeless, probably a runaway.
Chelsea: Yeah. I brought her so food, but i couldn't get any information out of her except that her name's crystal.
Sharon: Crystal? Is she still here?
Chelsea: Yeah, she's in the office.
Scott: That's the name of the girl that sharon's been talking to on the crisis line.
Sharon: Crystal?
That lady told you my name?
Sharon: No. You. You told me your name. When we spoke on the phone. When you called the crisis center both times, I'm the one who picked up. I'm sharon. You remember? I'm so glad I found you.
I recognize your voice. They won't stop looking for me.
Sharon: Okay. Crystal, you're safe here. You can trust these people. I know them extremely well. But if I'm gonna help you, you have to help me understand -- who is it that you're so afraid of?
I left home. I was living on the streets when I met this woman who said that she could give me a place to live. But then...
Sharon: You can tell me. I won't judge.
The men started coming. Lots of them. And I said I wouldn'T... I fought. But she said I didn't have a choice.
[ Voice breaking ] And I didn'T. So, finally, I ran.
[ Crying ] And now I don't know where to go.
Sharon: I'll protect you. I'm gonna take care of you.
Nick: She's so scared.
Chelsea: She's gonna be okay. She will.
Scott: So?
Sharon: It's her!
Scott: Oh, my god. I told chelsea and nick about how you, uh, talked to her on the hotline and how she ended the calls so abruptly.
Nick: I cannot believe i found her.
Sharon: Seems like god is looking out for her.
[ Electric guitar plays ]
Reed: Hey!
Mattie: Hi!
Reed: I -- I didn't know if you were gonna be able to make it tonight.
Mattie: Yeah, I, uh, told my parents I was going to the mall. With everything that's going on with them...
Reed: I get it.
Mattie: Charlie's gonna cover for me.
Reed: Wait, what? Does he know you came to see me?
Mattie: He can act like a jerk, but he's still my brother. We look out for each other.
Reed: [ Sighs ] Wow. That's -- that's cool of him.
Mattie: Yeah.
Robin: Hi, reed!
Reed: Hi.
Chrissy: Are you playing tonight?
Reed: I sure am.
Robin: When are you going on?
Nick: All right! Let's get this thing started.
[ Cheers and applause ] First to the stage is one of our local favorites. Please give a hand for reed hellstrom.
[ Cheers and applause ]
Reed: Hey. I got you a table. Come on.
Reed: All right!
Chrissy: We love you, reed!
Robin: Whoo-hoo!
[ Electric guitar plays ]
Jordan: Hilary, you know i care for lily, more than ever now that her whole world is falling apart.
Hilary: Yeah, well, maybe if you hang around the fringes long enough, keep playing the concerned friend, you know, maybe it'll work out for the two of you.
Jordan: I'm not playing at anything. I am a concerned friend.
Hilary: Who's just secretly hoping that her marriage will fail, right?
Jordan: Wrong. That's not how I operate. I didn't do anything to undermine them.
Hilary: Well, you don't have to, do you? Because cane -- he's doing a fine job all on his own. You know, and while we're being candid, let's get one thing straight. I got that commercial on my own with all of my hard work and initiative, okay? I didn't sabotage lily or take anything away from her.
Jordan: But that's not out of the realm of possibility that you would have. I heard how you made mariah face-plant on live tv.
Hilary: Well, you know what, you're right. You heard right. I did. I have that in me. And, see, you knew that going in, and that didn't seem to bother you. I'm sorry, jordan, but I'm no damsel in distress.
Jordan: Yeah. That's for damn sure.
Hilary: So if you want a girl that you can rescue, who's gonna faint in your arms, I'm not the right woman for you.
Jordan: Well put.
Hilary: Because, see, there's a lot of other things that i would love to do in these arms.
Cane: You know, when mattie walked in and she saw us not fighting, it -- it really hit home how this situation is affecting the kids.
Lily: Yeah. It had a big impact on her.
Cane: That's why seeing us working through these difficult times, it's important for a girl her age because it shows that when you're in a relationship and you have hard times that you just keep going and you work through it for yourself and for each other.
Lily: You know, when I found out that I didn't get that commercial, I really wanted to cry.
Cane: No...
Lily: Because I've just been feeling so... alone and like everything is on me, and it's just -- it's really nice to not feel that way anymore.
Cane: That's 'cause you're not alone. We have each other, baby.
[ Doorbell rings ] What do you want?
Victoria: Good. You're home. You need to hear this, too.
Ashley: I had no idea you were struggling with this.
Abby: You know, I was busy with work, I was trying to prove myself at newman, my start-up incubator project... and then this guy comes along who's sweet and smart and... he's a really good kisser.
[ Laughs ]
Ashley: [ Laughs ] Well, he also created a really good app, so you two could put it to good use and become serial daters.
Abby: [ Laughs ]
Ashley: Honey, only you know when you're ready to put your heart out there again. I will say one thing, though -- you know that fourth date?
Abby: Yeah.
Ashley: Because zack said technically the benefit was your third date? Well, why does it have to be anything more than that? I mean, it's just a date. Go out and have some fun. Spend some time with a very stable, intelligent, extremely easy on the eyes guy who happened to put a smile back on my beautiful daughter's face.
Abby: [ Sighs, chuckles ]
Ashley: Hey.
[ Cellphone chimes ]
Abby: Thank you, mom.
Ashley: I think you've got your answer.
Abby: [ Laughs ]
[ Cheers and applause ]
Reed: Hey!
Mattie: Wow. Good job.
Reed: Thanks. [ Chuckles ]
Chrissy: Reed, you were awesome.
Robin: I felt like you were singing just to me.
Chrissy: Can we take a selfie with you?
Reed: Um...
Nick: All right! How good was reed? Good job, man! Don't worry, we're gonna get him back up here to do another song. We're gonna take a little break, though, right now, and when we come back, we'll have some poetry set to music, so, uh, get ready!
Sharon: Paul, as soon as you get this, get over to nick's club. He found crystal in the alley behind the underground. She's scared to death. Please hurry.
Chelsea: Hey. I had such a hard time getting through to her. Did crystal talk to you?
Sharon: She finally managed to relax a little once she felt safe. And I do have some idea what that poor girl has been through and what she ran away from.
Scott: You know, I think we should talk to her some more, let her know what her options are.
Chelsea: Yeah, or just that she has options.
Sharon: Okay, but you need to follow my lead on this.
Scott: Okay.
Chelsea: Yeah. Of course.
Sharon: Crystal?
Nick: She might be asleep. She seemed pretty worn-out.
Sharon: Oh, my god. She's back out there. What'll they do to her if they catch her?
Nick: Who will do what to her? What's this girl mixed up in?
Lily: What's this about?
Cane: All right, listen, we're dealing with enough right now, okay?
Victoria: Okay, look, i don't mean to add to your troubles, but I wouldn't be doing you any favors by keeping this from you.
Lily: Okay. Please, just say it. Please.
Cane: All right, sweetheart, we don't need to listen to this.
Billy: I saw you, cane. At the coffeehouse with jesse. We had an interesting talk.
Victoria: Yeah, the three of us, actually.
Lily: Oh, god. What now?
Billy: Cane screwed us over. All of us. Including you, lily.
Next on "the young and the restless"...
Sharon: You got to help me find her, paul. Tonight.
Charlie: You two know each other?
Reed: It's the woman that sued my mom.
Mattie: And the one that dad got pregnant.
Lily: I want you to leave this house tonight.
Cane: You don't mean that.
Lily: Pack your bags and get out!
