Episode # 10864 ~ Victor teaches Noah a lesson; Dylan urges Marisa to come clean; Kevin & Mariah question Natalie's loyalty.

Provided By Suzanne

Adam: You sacrificed your own grandson to prove how ruthless you can be. Congratulations.

Victor: Do I need to remind you that that Luca Santori guy was able to blackmail you more than once -- in fact, twice -- by threatening you to expose Noah's bad behavior? Well, I eliminated that, all right? And that peacock and his family will follow.

Adam: Well, I wouldn't get too cocky if I were you. Luca's on to you and Marco Annicelli, so that threat is still alive.

Victor: Not for long, okay?

Adam: Okay. What's the plan?

Victor: I want you to step back.

Adam: You want me to step back, whether I want to or not.

Victor: I don't want you involved in what is about to come down.

Adam: Mm. Grind your own flesh and blood, that way you don't break a sweat. I-I am dying to know what you have in store for Luca.

[Door opens]

Nikki: Oh, Victor. The most terrible thing has happened. Noah has been arrested, and he's in the hospital.

Adam: No, he knows. Um, Victor's the one that put him there.

Nikki: What?!

Adam: Yeah.

Victoria: I think it's time for you to own up to what you did to Billy.

Sharon: He just got out of surgery.

Noah: It's okay, mom. Vicki's right. I hit Billy. It was an accident. He -- he was behind the wheel of my car. I didn't even know that I hit him until later. I'm relieved that it's out. I-I want to see him. I want to apologize to him.

Victoria: I know he'd appreciate that.

Nick: Okay. You good? I think you should go. He needs his rest.

Victoria: I know you regret what you did. I also know you're not the kind of man that runs from mistakes, so I think you need to tell the police.

Sharon: Absolutely not.

Dylan: That's clearly you in the security footage, disposing of a set of tires the day after Billy's accident. How do you explain that? Unless you want to stick to the story that Noah's innocent. But you know what? That's gonna lead to all kinds of complications.

Marisa: Noah is innocent. I got rid of those tires because I was driving his car that night. I hit Billy. Re

Natalie: Why are you doing that?

Summer: Not doing anything.

Natalie: You're breathing. I can hear it. Stop.

Summer: I'm reading.

Natalie: You're playing sugar rush, and you suck at it. Can you go do it somewhere else?

Summer: Me leaving the room solves your problems? I thought you were close.

Natalie: And now I'm not. Damn it.

Summer: Natalie, you're a genius. I'm sure it'll come to you.

Natalie: If Victor doesn't take my head off first. But no pressure or anything.

[Doorbell rings]

Natalie: [Sighs]

Kevin: Do you ever pick up your phone?

Summer: Sorry. What's up?

Kevin: It's Noah. The cops arrested him on some island, dragged him back to the states. He's at the hospital now.

Summer: Oh, my God. What happened?

Kevin: He's the one who hit Billy.

Summer: Uh, no. He didn't. That's impossible.

Kevin: It's true. You should talk to him about it, though. He's at memorial.

Summer: Is he okay?

Kevin: As far as I know, but, again, you should talk to him. Are you okay to drive by yourself?

Summer: Yeah, no. I-I'm fine. Oh, my gosh. Okay. Thank you, Kevin.

Kevin: Yeah. Of course. Drive safe. Bye.

Summer: Okay.

Kevin: Natalie. Have you been avoiding me?

Billy: Look, I got the feeling that you have something you want to tell me.

Chelsea: No. I-I think you -- you must have misinterpreted --

Billy: No, I don't think that I did. Look, hearing that Noah got arrested for the hit and run kind of shook a couple things loose in my head, and I can now see his face in the side-view mirror right before he backed up over me. As you can imagine, that kind of came as a shock. But it didn't come as a shock to you.

Chelsea: What do you mean?

Billy: You already knew it was Noah, didn't you?

Chelsea: You're right. I knew that Noah was the person that hit you. But I went to tell you that day, remember? At your house. And you just seemed, you know, so at peace with not knowing. So, I couldn't bring myself to tell you.

Chelsea: I didn't want to mess things up between you and Victoria.

Billy: Yeah, so, that's the reason for your visit?

Chelsea: You even said yourself you owed the driver a debt of gratitude. I mean, that scare brought you back to Victoria. It brought back the important things in your life.

Billy: I did say that, didn't I?

Chelsea: I mean, Billy, you have your family back. You're engaged. It's amazing. I mean, does knowing that Noah was the person that was behind that wheel really even matter anymore? I mean, you're still grateful, right?

Billy: Grateful? To a Newman who almost killed me?

Chelsea: So, what? No more gratitude? I mean, you didn't get justice from Victor's son, so now you're gonna take it from his grandson?

Sharon: How can you tell Noah to turn himself in? The police don't have any evidence, and even Billy doesn't want to see Noah in prison.

Victoria: He committed a crime.

Sharon: He's your nephew. If Billy can find it in his heart to spare Noah, then why can't you?

Noah: Mom, mom, it's all right. It's fine. It's what has to happen.

Sharon: Noah. Please. There's really no reason to come forward. Nick, tell him.

Nick: I think going to the police is the right thing to do.

Sharon: How can you say that?

Nick: Because it's who our son is. He's a good man. He's brave, strong, and honest. What I don't get is why you would lie and why you would try and flee the country. Help me understand that.

Noah: I wanted to come forward as soon as I found out what I'd done.

Victoria: What stopped you?

Sharon: Victor.

Nick: Dad said Marisa was behind the cover-up and Adam was the one who sent you on the run.

Noah: Have you heard from her? Is she all right?

Sharon: I saw her earlier.

Noah: What do you mean you saw her? Is -- is she -- she's here in Genoa City?

Sharon: She was right outside your door, but she took off.

Noah: She's okay, then?

Sharon: I think that one knows how to take care of herself. Let's talk about you and Victor and why you left the country without saying goodbye.

Noah: There was a lot going on at work, and Adam bought me a-a plane ticket and --

Nick: Yeah, that sounds just like my brother. Hit and run and don't stop running until you get caught.

Noah: As soon as I realized that I hit Billy, I came straight here to tell you everything. Grandpa saw me.

Nick: And he stopped you.

Noah: He said that it would just make everything worse, especially for you. And you were already going through so much.

Victoria: He's right. I was a wreck. We all thought that Billy was gonna die. [Sighs] If I knew that you had been responsible, I don't think I could have handled it, and he knew that.

Sharon: Victoria, will you get your head out of the sand for once and stop defending Victor?

Noah: I'm not gonna lie, all right? Grandpa was upset. He was -- he was very concerned about Vicki.

Sharon: Well, I hate to break it to you, Noah, but your grandfather, the one who loves his family so much, is the reason why you're here.

Noah: What does that mean?

Nick: It means your grandpa told you to cover up your mistake and then he sold you out to the police as soon as you did exactly what he told you to do.

Sharon: Are you still good with giving up your life when your own grandfather set you up?

Natalie: I haven't been avoiding you. I've been banging my head against the brick wall that is known as pass key.

Kevin: So, what's going on?

Natalie: It's like every time I turn around, this thing's got a bug in it.

Kevin: No, not with the program. I'm a lot more curious about who you're double-crossing Victor with.

Natalie: [Chuckles] Why would you think I'm double-crossing Victor?

Kevin: Because it's kind of how you role.

Natalie: In case you haven't noticed, he's got me watchdogged.

Kevin: Yeah, by princess buttercup.

Natalie: And my new best friend, Victoria.

Kevin: Funny you should bring her up. She actually asked me to consult on the project for Newman. Perfect way for you to cut Mariah and me back in, right? That's the plan -- to cut us back in? Because you cut us out once, you said you owe me, and you want to prove that I can trust you. You are gonna make that happen, right?

Natalie: I said I would.

Kevin: Good. So, just you, me, and the mouse. What's the plan?

Natalie: There isn't one.

Kevin: Say that again, this time in words that I want to hear.

Natalie: There was a plan. I swear. Kind of. Not really. Now there isn't. I'm really sorry, Kevin. If I had a choice, we would --

Kevin: But which you don't, because you're working another angle.

Natalie: It's a fluid situation. Victor's ticked off. I don't have a lot of room to maneuver here, Kevin.

[Doorbell rings]

Natalie: [Sighs] And then there's this guy.

Luca: It's always good to see you, too, Natalie. Summer around?

Natalie: I'll tell you stopped by.

Luca: Uh... why don't you, uh, update me on your progress and how you and pass key are gonna make me even richer.

Dylan: You have the right to an attorney. If you can't afford an attorney, one will be provided for you.

Sharon: What's going on?

Dylan: She confessed to Billy's hit and run.

Nick: Listen, uh, before you take her downtown and book her, Noah wants to talk to you, Dylan.

Marisa: W-wait. No, no, no, no! No!

Nikki: So, you're responsible for Noah being in the hospital?

Victor: Adam is putting his own not-particularly-amusing spin on things.

Adam: "Spin on things?" So, you didn't pick up the phone, call Paul Williams, and rat him out?

Nikki: Wait. You turned Noah in to the police?

Adam: You see, what you call spin, the rest of your family looks at and sees you turning your back on your own family.

Victor: You know there's more to it than that.

Adam: And now you get to explain it to Nikki. Have fun.

Nikki: Okay. Start talking.

Victor: There are a lot of things you don't know.

Nikki: Apparently.

Victor: Our grandson left the country. And he wasn't planning on coming back.

Nikki: What?! Why? I can't believe this.

Victor: And he didn't leave by himself. He left with that Marisa woman. And that's not the kind of future I want for my grandson.

Nikki: Oh. But prison is?

Victor: It was not an easy decision.

Nikki: Yes, it was, Victor. I may not know the facts about this, but I know you and I know your ego. And you have just gone too far this time. I can't take it anymore!

Victor: You don't know the facts about this.

Nikki: No, I don't! I don't want to know! I know what you did!

Natalie: There weren't any errors at compile time and linked time, but the stack was off, so the variables had bad values. But I've fixed that.

Luca: So, we're close to beta testing?

Natalie: Mm, now the bug is manifesting as a memory corruption error, so I'm trying to reverse-engineer the library.

Luca: Sounds like an easy fix.

Natalie: If it was easy, it'd be done.

Luca: Okay, so, then get to it. What's the time frame?

Natalie: The sooner you leave, the sooner I can get back to work.

Luca: [Sighs] I don't think I have to tell you what's riding on this.

Natalie: It keeps me warm at night.

Luca: Have summer give me a call.

Natalie: Ugh, that guy gives me the creeps. Maybe it's just his cologne.

Kevin: Well, you just played him. You don't fix a memory corruption error by reverse-engineering the library. That doesn't make any sense.

Natalie: But it sounded good, didn't it? Look, I was just trying to get him off my back.

Kevin: Because you're double-playing him, too.

Natalie: Because I'm stuck. Okay? The last thing I need is Victor and that Santori idiot on my case.

Kevin: Okay. If you're as stuck as you say you are, prove it.

Billy: I got no intention of going after Noah. He's a good kid. He made a mistake.

Chelsea: Oh. Oh, so, you'll let it go?

Billy: I'm not gonna give him a Christmas card, all right?

Chelsea: Yeah.

Billy: Look, Chelsea, I'm -- I'm trying to follow through with what I've been saying. I got Victoria back. I got my kids back. I'm working with my brother and I'm working with Phyllis, okay? My life is good right now. I'm actually trying to convince myself that it's mine.

Chelsea: [Chuckles] Well, get used to it, 'cause I'm thinking it's here to stay.

Billy: Well, I'm gonna do everything I can to make sure that that's true, but... but there is one thing that's kind of confusing to me. Victor narcing on his own grandson? I would have thought that he would have gave him a whole division for mauling me down, and instead, he turns him over to the police. Yeah. That's what I thought. There's more to this, isn't there?

Chelsea: [Sighs] Luca found out that Noah's the one that hit you. And he was using the information to blackmail Victor.

Dylan: [Sighs]

Marisa: What did Noah say?

Dylan: Full confession. But you're not going anywhere. There's probably gonna be accessory charges.

Sharon: Well, of course there will be. Why don't you just arrest us all?

Nikki: There must be something you can do.

Sharon: We already had that talk.

Dylan: Look, I-I'm just doing my job.

Sharon: Can I see him, please?

Marisa: I want to see him, too.

Dylan: Summer, go ahead. You stay put.

Marisa: I haven't seen Noah since the island. Please, just a few minutes.

Dylan: I'm sorry. You're gonna have to hold on.

Sharon: Noah is really worried about Marisa. She was willing to give up everything for him.

Nikki: It certainly can't do any harm to let them be together just a few minutes.

Dylan: Really? Marisa already committed a crime. She helped Noah flee --

Victor: That woman shouldn't even be near my grandson.

Nick: What are you doing here?

Victor: What do you mean, what am I doing here? I'm here to see my grandson.

Nick: That's not happening.

Victoria: He has the right to see him, Nick.

Sharon: Victoria, Nick just said --

Victoria: Yeah, I heard him, Sharon. Thank you.

Victor: Excuse me. Why is this even a debate?

Nikki: Noah just got out of surgery. Just leave him be. You've done enough already, don't you think?

Dylan: Victor, maybe you should leave.

Victor: I don't need to talk to you about this.

Dylan: Victor, maybe -- maybe you should leave.

Victor: No. I'm not going anywhere.

Sharon: Okay. I'll just call security.

Dylan: It's not necessary to call security.

Victoria: Always the one to overreact.

Sharon: Really? And having my -- my son arrested was not an overreaction?

Summer: Hey.

Nick: You lied to us.

Victor: You don't even know what you're talking about.

Summer: Hey, you guys. Uh, what's going on? Noah's asking about all the shouting.

Sharon: Tell him not to worry. Victor was just leaving.

Summer: Well, actually, Noah wanted to see him.

Nick: Don't try anything.

Victor: You stop treating him like a child. He's a grown man. And he will take his punishment as a grown man.

Adam: Can you believe this? Huh? Noah arrested at the hospital? I never thought my father would take it this far.

Chelsea: Really? That's what Victor does. He always takes it too far. No one is safe, Adam, even a sweet kid like Noah.

Adam: I can't help but think I started this whole thing. Chelsea: [Sighs] Well, I may have added fuel to the fire. Um... Billy asked me what I knew, and I just went with the truth.

Adam: You saw Billy?

Chelsea: He remembers seeing Noah behind the wheel.

Adam: Great. Oh, no. This is great. Now Billy gets a second shot at another Newman.

Chelsea: No. No. Billy -- he won't press charges. I told you -- he's in too good of a place now.

Adam: Well, now that Victor has involved the police, the truth is gonna come out. There are going to be charges. It's not gonna matter what Billy wants.

Chelsea: Well, it matters to me.

Victor: So, how do you feel? You came through the surgery all right?

Noah: What's one more knife sticking out of me? You know, I was ready to turn myself in after the accident. But you insisted that we cover it up. And then you turn around and you sic the police on me?

Victor: Let me ask you something. Did you not think I was gonna find out about you and Luca conspiring against me? You conspired against me, your own grandfather.

Noah: You hurt people that I love. You know that? What you did to my mother -- Mariah pretending to be Cassie -- you nearly broke her. You broke our family. And then your old pal, Marco Annicelli -- now summer's husband is dead because he came into town. Courtney, my fiancée, is also dead because he came into town, because of you. You watched us grieve. You tore us apart. You were fine with it. And then what you did to Marisa. You kidnapped the woman that I love. You were ready to feed her to the Santoris. You play God. You don't give a damn about any of us.

Victor: You're very angry. And you don't have enough information, but, um... I surmise that you still want to take your grandpa down.

Noah: I don't want to live my life for revenge, grandpa. There are more important things in life.

Victor: All right. Well, I'm glad you learned the lesson not to turn against a member of your family. But I'm afraid it's too little, too late.

Sharon: How can Victor betray his grandson and then walk in here as if he actually cares about him?

Summer: There must be more to the story. Grandpa wouldn't turn him over for no reason.

Nick: You think Noah's involved in something else we don't know about?

Sharon: If Victor sacrificed my son for his damn company --

Victoria: Oh, what? You're gonna push him down the stairs? That's your M.O., Isn't it, Sharon?

Nick: That's out of line.

Victoria: I'm so sorry. Maybe I shouldn't have gone there. I'm sorry that Noah's in the hospital and facing charges. But he admitted to his guilt, so maybe you should stop bashing dad and focus on the fact that your son may not be as perfect as you think he is. And maybe, just maybe, dad isn't the bad guy here.

Dylan: [Sighs]

Sharon: I'm sorry I attacked you earlier. Your instincts were right.

Dylan: Look, I just hate that I upset you. It's -- it's not what I want.

Sharon: Well, maybe now that Noah's confessed and Billy isn't interested in pressing charges, you could make things right.

Dylan: Uh... by "make things right," you mean turn my back and let Noah walk out of here? Is -- is that what you're asking me to do?

Noah: So, this is my lesson, huh? Prison.

Victor: [Sighs] There's no lesson more important to learn than loyalty to your family.

Noah: I didn't go through with it.

Victor: You don't conspire with Luca against your own grandfather. You don't do that without consequences.

Noah: What about fighting back, huh? Outsmarting the guy? But we didn't do that. No. You caved. So Luca wins.

Victor: If you had turned your back on this Marisa woman, she would have left this town along with that peacock husband of hers a long time ago. All right? This wouldn't be an issue. You know, I hate the situation you're in right now. I really do, Noah. But it's that Marisa woman kissing that Luca husband of hers on the stroke of midnight that pissed you off. And you ran down to the garage, got in the car, and you ran over Billy Abbott. Is that how it happened?

Noah: That's great. Yeah. Let's just blame Marisa. Let's make it her fault. But you know what? She's been there for me through this entire thing. She was willing to sacrifice everything for me.

Victor: Have I not told you before, many times, not to trust a woman like that?

Noah: She didn't sell me out to save her own ass. You did that! You know what? You've done your worst. But it didn't change a damn thing. I love Marisa, and I'm going to spend the rest of my life with her.

Victor: Okay, well, your present situation, I think, will put a crimp in that scenario, don't you think? I hate this for you now. Makes my heart bleed. But you need to learn a lesson more important than any other. Don't ever take me on. You were ready to conspire against me and my company -- you're my grandson -- because of a woman.

Victor: Shall we go?

Nikki: Our grandson needs me.

Sharon: You're done some vile things in your time, but you tried to destroy your grandson, who's only ever loved you.

Nick: Sharon, don't bother.

Summer: Grandpa, are you okay?

Victor: Yes, sweetheart. I'm fine. And Noah will be fine, too, okay?

Sharon: You can see that this is just some vendetta that Victor's playing out against my son. Please. Don't fall for this.

Dylan: Look, I get your concern.

Sharon: Do you? Because Noah is a victim. He is not the criminal. I wish you would realize that. Don't let Victor win.

Dylan: I understand the situation, but Noah made some choices, and they weren't -- they weren't very good.

Nick: These are extenuating circumstances. Even the guy he hit isn't planning on pressing charges. Why can't you just let it go?

Dylan: Because it's not up to me. I'm not the D.A. My orders are to execute the warrant and, you know, bring Noah to the station.

Sharon: Oh, my God. Your new job is more important to you than our family.

Dylan: Come -- [Sighs]

Victoria: Hi.

Billy: Hi. [Sighs] I have a pretty good feeling I know where you have been.

Victoria: Okay. I couldn't help it. I had to talk to Noah. I wanted to try to convince him to do the right thing. But the good news is he already wanted to do that.

Billy: See? Like I said, the guy's a mensch.

Victoria: Billy, I wish you could have seen him. He was so apologetic. He really wants to make things up to you.

Billy: Do you feel better?

Victoria: I did this for you, you know?

Billy: You did?

Victoria: Yeah.

Billy: Mm-hmm.

Victoria: Okay, for myself a little bit, too. And, yes, I feel better. Not great. I thought that if I got the truth out, it would clear the air. But Nick and Sharon are so defensive. I feel like I just made things worse.

Billy: Well, Noah's a good guy. Unfortunately, even good guys get slimed when they're a little too close to your old man.

Victoria: Can we not dump on my dad? Noah broke the law. Dad did what he thought he had to do.

Billy: Really? So, dear old dad was just upholding the law? Is that it? Did he happen to mention the blackmail factor tied to my near-death?

Natalie: So, I thought it was an off-by-one error, and I tried a work-around on the iterative loop, but...

[Computer beeps]

Natalie: Crash. Again. Even when I jimmy the recursive function, the program goes straight to stack overflow.

Kevin: You try a choke packet?

Natalie: Of course.

Kevin: Buffers, line utilizations, queue lengths... that should have worked.

Natalie: See? It's a total Heisenberg. Every time I try and study it, it either disappears or alters its characteristics.

Kevin: And it crashes all over again.

Natalie: See what I'm up against?

Kevin: It's almost like someone purposely engineered a bug and sicced it on your program. The only person I know who's smart enough to do that is you. Natalie, are you sabotaging your own program?

Luca: Victor.

[Door slams]

Luca: I have an -- I have an update on our feisty young computer genius.

Victor: Because of you, I had my grandson arrested. Because of you, I had to turn against my family.

Adam: Why are you so upset? It's done. It's gonna play out. There's nothing we can do.

Chelsea: What happened to Delia broke Billy into pieces. But he came back stronger, ready to forgive. And now he's actually willing to forgive Noah. I mean, it's -- it's like it's frustrating sometimes. It's like Billy has learned, yet you haven't.

Adam: What are you talking about? Of course I have.

Chelsea: Really?

Adam: Yeah.

Chelsea: I mean, you -- you still tried to cover up the whole crime, Adam.

Adam: What are you talking about? That was Victor that tried to cover it up. I had no idea that anything had even happened until after he left town. I was the one stuck there trying to pick up all the pieces and fix things.

Chelsea: I know. By sending Noah out of the country.

Adam: Yes, by sending him out of the country. I was trying to get him out of harm's way.

Chelsea: Yeah. Can I just ask you something? Did you ever stop to think what would have happened if this whole thing backfired, if Victor pinned this on you? Did you ever stop to consider how bad this could have ended for you or for us?

Dylan: It's good news. Noah's on his way to a full recovery. And I'm gonna bring Marisa in soon. Okay.

Marisa: Dylan, please. Please, let me just see Noah first. For a few minutes.

Nikki: Hey, why are you treating your nephew like a common criminal?

Dylan: I know that Noah's a good kid, but I-I got to follow procedure.

Nikki: Honey, they're young. They're in love. They're facing God knows what. I mean, would it be so wrong to let them have a few minutes together?

Dylan: Okay. Come on.

Marisa: Thank you. Thank you.

Dylan: Two minutes.

Nikki: That wasn't so hard, was it?

Dylan: I hope you know that locking up Noah is -- is the last thing that I want to do.

Nikki: I do know that. But I need you to know that I'm not going to sit by and watch my grandson go to jail.

Natalie: You think I'm trying to sink pass key? That makes zero sense. Why would I do that?

Kevin: I don't know. You tell me. Why would you do that?

Natalie: I think maybe I've lost my touch. I used to code in the dark with a buzz. Now I've got all these corporate zombies breathing down my neck with their schedules and their rules and their deadlines. [Sighs]

Kevin: So, you're really not faking this?

Natalie: I am not faking this. What?

Kevin: Now I'm even more suspicious.

Natalie: Why? I just looked you in the eye and told you this isn't a scam.

Kevin: Exactly. You never look me in the eye.

Natalie: [Sighs]

[Door closes]

Natalie: How's your brother?

Summer: Well, he's headed to jail, but, uh, he's okay. He's alive.

Kevin: Noah doesn't deserve that.

Summer: No, he kind of does. He did something awful and he tried to cover it up. The person that doesn't deserve what he's getting right now is my grandfather, actually.

Kevin: What?

Summer: The rest of the family's just ganging up on him. He tried to do the right thing, and no one sees it that way. They were just being so awful to him. I just -- I felt so bad.

Natalie: You felt bad for Victor Newman?

Summer: Yeah, I know it sounds a little ridiculous, but you don't know him the way that I do. He can be really sensitive, and you didn't see him walking away from the family the way that he did. He just looked really... helpless.

Victor: No one comes between me and my family. Got that?

Luca: All right. Look, I saved you from a threat, okay? Take it out on Noah, not me.

Victor: You're using my grandson to get to pass key.

Luca: And you should be glad I did, okay? This girl Natalie? She's playing you, and I think I can prove it.

Victor: Do you think these pitiful pieces of information are gonna save your ass?

Luca: Victor...

Victor: You're playing with the wrong guy.

Luca: Look...

[Clatters]

Luca: Look, Victor. Victor. I'm trying to help you, okay? Where's the gratitude?

Victor: ¡Cállate, hombre! (Shut up, man!)

Luca: Victor, listen --

Victor: That's where my gratitude is.

Adam: I would never do anything to jeopardize what we have together. You got to know that, babe. I came back from the dead for you. I ran into a burning building for you and Connor. You -- you two are my entire life. You're all I care about. Everything I do, all the work that I put in -- that's to preserve what we have and to preserve what we're gonna have in the future. You got to know that, babe.

Chelsea: I do. I guess just all this stuff with Noah brought a lot of things back -- you know, everything that happened with Delia, everything that happened when I thought you were gone forever.

Adam: I'm not gone, though. I'm not gone. I'm right here. All right?

Chelsea: I know. [Sighs] I guess we're the lucky ones, right?

Adam: Yeah.

Chelsea: I mean, Noah and his family -- what they're going through -- a lot of lives are gonna be different after today. [Sighs]

Victoria: It's terrible that blackmail had anything to do with this.

Billy: Yeah.

Victoria: But Luca's the one that used this accident to play an advantage, not my father.

Billy: So, he was just giving Santori ammunition...

Victoria: So, here we are -- back to blaming my father again, who, by the way, felt awful about what happened to Noah. If you could have seen him at the hospital --

Billy: Crying crocodile tears, no doubt.

Victoria: Oh, come on, damn it. He loves Noah. Maybe covering for him wasn't the best choice, but he was trying to protect him.

Billy: Oh, see, there is it. The big "p" word that you -- you all people use so often.

Victoria: "You people?" Really?

Billy: Except, this time, Victoria, your dad wasn't protecting his grandson. He was protecting his company, once again proving that Newman enterprises is the most important thing to him. It's a classic Newman decision.

Victoria: Oh, really? Really? Well, this Newman asked Noah to clear his conscience, and he did.

Billy: Well, gold star for Noah. Except it's a lot easier to try and do the right thing when you know you're not gonna pay for your crime, right? Because if you got the Newman name, you get out of jail free every single time.

Sharon: I can't believe this is happening. How can Dylan be so ready to throw Noah in jail?

Nick: He's just doing his job.

Sharon: By railroading our son into a cell? What happened to the man that I fell in love with, the compassionate man? He would have never put Noah in jail for an accident.

Nick: Look, we're gonna get this straightened out, all right? Even Billy doesn't want to press charges. Noah's a great kid, and everybody knows that. He made a mistake, and he feels terrible about it. We're gonna figure something out.

Sharon: Yeah, what if we can't, Nick? Noah can't go to jail. He can't.

Nick: Come here.

Noah: I'm so sorry I dragged you into this.

Marisa: No. I'm the one who told you to stay quiet about Billy. And here we are.

Noah: Because of Luca and Victor. Why did you come back? You should have stayed away.

Marisa: I love you. And you're here. Where else would I be?

Noah: I can't believe you tried to turn yourself in for me. What were you thinking?

Marisa: [Sighs] You took me in when I had nowhere to go. You stood up for me. You believed in me when I didn't deserve it. You loved me after everything I have done. Of course, I had to.

Noah: You could have just said, "Thank you."

Marisa: [Chuckles] Oh. [Sighs] God, I can't believe we were just making love on a beach a few days ago. And now...

Noah: Now nothing. Now we get through this. Because we have each other. Okay?

Marisa: [Sighs] Okay.

Dylan: This is out of your hands. The best thing you can do to help Noah is just get him a good attorney.

Nikki: As Victor is fond of saying, sometimes you just have to do things yourself.

Dylan: Okay, I don't like the sound of that.

Nikki: Hey, you might want to check on your prisoners. I think they're planning an escape.

Dylan: Come on. I mean it. Just leave it to the authorities.

Nikki: Hi. I know I'm probably the last person you ever expected to hear from, but I need to see you. And it's not a request.

Luca: Really? A gun? Look, Victor, put that away. There's no need for theatrics, okay?

Victor: You have a simple choice. You can leave town on two feet or in a box. Which is it?

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Victor: I had a meeting with Luca last night.

Adam: What did you do to him?

Victor: Things got a little out of hand.

Natalie: Your shower!

Summer: Yeah, I faked it. Shh!

Ashley: First you fire your father, now you're edging me out, too?

Jack: Victor found some guy in a Peruvian prison who had my face, my body, my voice!
