Episode # 10827 ~ Family & friends gather for Abby & Stitch's wedding.

Provided By Suzanne

Victoria: You look incredible.

Nikki: Just beautiful.

Summer: Your hair looks amazing.

Chelsea: And your makeup is perfection.

Traci: You are the picture of a glowing bride.

Abby: Thanks, guys. [Chuckles] I-I can't believe it's finally here. New Year's Eve. My wedding day.

Stitch: You have the rings, right?

Dylan: Yeah, I got the rings, for the third time. I have -- I got the rings.

Stitch: Okay, okay, I-I guess I have a few jitters.

Dylan: Well, it goes with the territory. Anything else on your mind?

Stitch: What do you mean?

Dylan: Well, look, this is a big day, okay? I'm your best friend. And with all the conversations that we've had about, you know, Ashley and everything that's going on, I just want to make sure that you're not having any second thoughts right now.

Neil: Hey, I got your text. Why you still here? You should be getting ready for Abby's wedding.

Dr. Neville: She's doing me a favor. I had to draw blood to keep our data on Hilary up to date.

Hilary: I know you're not thrilled about it, Neil, but I'm going to continue to be involved in Dr. Neville's research. But my dress is in the office. I'll go get it.

Dr. Neville: Oh. Look at the time. I don't want to be late, either.

Neil: It's a family wedding. Last time I checked, you're not family.

Dr. Neville: No, I was asked to escort someone.

Neil: Who's that?

Dr. Neville: Mother of the bride.

Neil: Ashley invited you? Now, why the hell would she do that?

Victor: All right, I think that's enough business for one day. Shall we go upstairs and join Abby's guests?

Adam: Uh, you know what? You two go ahead without me. I'll meet you up there.

Noah: Right now? Now? What's the pressing issue?

Adam: Just got something to take care of. Don't worry about it. It's fine. All right, see you guys later.

Victor: All right, Adam.

Noah: Wait. He is definitely up to something. You know what it is?

Victor: I have no idea.

Marisa: You always were so handsome in a tuxedo.

Luca: Thank you. You need to get dressed, too, Marisa. Look in the closet. I bought you something to wear.

Marisa: Are we going out on the town on new year's eve?

Luca: We are going to Abby Newman's wedding.

Marisa: We can't. We weren't invited.

Luca: We will be.

Faith: Happy New Year, Mommy!

Sharon: Hi, sweetheart! Happy New Year, too! Look at you. You look gorgeous.

Faith: Thanks.

Kevin: Seems to be a lot of that going around tonight.

Faith: You and Mariah look pretty, too.

Mariah: Well, thank you, squirt. What about you? What's it like living in a skyscraper? How's your room at sage's?

Faith: Pretty good. And you can see all the lights out the window from way up high.

Kevin: Sweet.

Mariah: [Chuckles]

Faith: But there's just one problem.

Billy: [Sighs] It's iced tea.

Phyllis: From long island?

Billy: Genoa City.

Phyllis: Good. Booze don't solve a thing.

Billy: [Chuckles] Thank you, Phyllis, for that very original insight.

Phyllis: And neither does blowing a ton of money on that damn horse.

Billy: That was for a good cause. God, if he had only started his stretch run just a little earlier.

Phyllis: Oh, I see. I see. You're upset the way that the horse ran the race. Well, maybe you could ask for a do-over, you know? Maybe everybody would get on board with that.

Billy: Okay, Phyllis, thank you. I get it. I screwed up. I don't need the reminder.

[Cell phone rings]

Billy: [Sighs] Speaking of reminders that I don't need... yeah, Gil. Yeah, yeah, I got your messages. Because I know what you're calling for, and I'm working on it, okay? Well, it doesn't help that you're calling every half hour. I'll get you your money, okay? What?

Phyllis: You bet money that you don't have?

Billy: I have it. I just, you know, don't have it with me.

Phyllis: Okay, okay, so why is this guy Gil bothering you?

Billy: Well, he's not exactly known for his patience.

Phyllis: What are you gonna do?

Jack: What are you gonna do about what?

Dylan: All right.

Stitch: Yeah.

Ashley: Wow. It's starting already, huh?

Dylan: [Chuckles] Okay, uh, Ashley, forgive me. Uh, this is probably -- well, definitely -- gonna be inappropriate to say to the mother of the bride, but... you look...wow.

Ashley: Oh.

Stitch: Yeah.

Ashley: Please don't ever apologize for making a nice compliment. Thank you.

Stitch: Yeah, I'm a little surprised to see you here. I figured you'd be at the club with Abby.

Ashley: Yeah, I just wanted to check in and make sure everything's ready, you know?

Dylan: Yeah, everything's great. You did a great job planning.

Ashley: Thank you.

Stitch: In case I haven't told you this lately, thank you. You know, I really appreciate, you know, you putting so much time and energy into making this wedding a reality.

Ashley: You don't have to thank me. It means a lot to me to be able to do this for my daughter. And for you. I'm gonna go check with the caterer. Okay. See you.

Stitch: See? Everything's fine.

Dylan: All right. Hey, I'm just -- you know, I'm glad for everybody.

Stitch: Hey. I have no doubts, Mac. None. Abby is the right woman for me. The only woman. The only thing missing tonight is my son max. I really wish he could have been here.

Dylan: [Sighs]

Summer: Yeah, Kyle really wanted to be here, but he's just feeling so sick. Whatever he caught just really flattened him out.

Nikki: Oh, well, there is a bad flu bug going around. Whatever it is, it's best that he stay home and get over it.

Summer: Yeah.

Traci: Hey, you're checking your phone a bunch.

Victoria: Yeah, I noticed that, too. Something going on?

Abby: I was hoping that Jenna would change her mind about bringing max to the wedding. I got her on the phone once, but she hung up on me.

Chelsea: Did you try calling her back?

Abby: Yeah, for all the good it did me. I left a message pleading with her, but she never got back to me. They're not coming, which really bums me out, because it would have been a wonderful surprise for Ben.

Traci: Oh, Abby, it was such a wonderful thought. I'm really sorry that she's being uncooperative.

Chelsea: Don't let it get you down, okay?

Abby: I won't. No way am I gonna let Ben's ex-wife ruin my night. [Chuckles]

Dr. Neville: I don't see why you're so surprised that Ashley would invite me. We're partners. We spend every waking hour together.

Hilary: Well, it sounds like you two are getting close.

Dr. Neville: Unlike some people, miss Abbott appreciates my work, along with my company. I'll see you both at the top of the tower.

Hilary: Neil, he's harmless.

Neil: Like hell he is.

Hilary: Okay, I'm going to go finish getting ready, and then we'll be on our way. That is, if you don't mind giving me a lift.

Neil: No, of course not.

Hilary: You're really uncomfortable being around me, aren't you? If you don't want to be seen with me, I mean, I know that you were avoiding me over Christmas.

Neil: No, that's not true. I'm really not avoiding you.

Hilary: No?

Neil: No. Lily needed me.

Hilary: Okay, I'll just be a minute.

Lily: Thank you for bringing me.

Devon: Of course. Sorry that, uh, cane's not feeling well.

Lily: Yeah. Me, too.

Devon: I'm sure you'd rather have had your husband for a date tonight.

Lily: Well, you know, some things can't be helped.

Devon: Yeah. How was Christmas?

Lily: It was good. I think it was definitely a step forward. I can't speak for cane, though.

Devon: I'm sure that spending the holidays with you and the kids under the same roof meant a lot to him, too.

Lily: Yeah. You don't know how much I want to believe that.

Devon: Then believe it. Make it true.

Lily: [Chuckles] Look at my brother, the self-help guru.

Devon: Oh, boy. Well, it's much easier to hand out advice than deal with my own problems.

Lily: Yeah, I heard that you spent the holidays with Hilary.

Devon: As friends.

Lily: And how was that?

Devon: It was surprisingly good, you know? Who knows? Maybe things will be better in the new year for both of us. Thanks.

Lily: Thank you. Maybe.

Devon: Cheers.

Lily: Cheers.

Sharon: Oh, good.

Kevin: Whoa. Look at all those cherries. You must be special.

Sharon: Wow. What do you say to the waiter, sweetie?

Faith: Thank you.

Sharon: Okay, so you want to tell me why it is you don't like living at sage's?

Faith: Sully's not there. I miss him. I thought he'd be here tonight.

Sharon: Well, he's at home with Amy, the babysitter, so that the adults can go out and celebrate. It's new year's.

Faith: I'm just sad I don't get to see him as much.

Sage: Well, you know, Faith, tomorrow's a holiday. I can drive you up to the ranch. You can spend the day with sully if you'd like.

Faith: Yay!

Sharon: [Chuckles]

Nick: Sounds like it's settled.

Kevin: Oh. Michael and Lauren are here. Excuse me. Hi. Happy 2016.

Lauren: Hi! Yeah, almost, right?

Michael: Well, this year certainly went by fast, thank God.

Lauren: Yes. You know, I'm looking forward to toasting Abby and stitch and ringing in the new year.

Michael: Hmm. Remind me again what happens at midnight.

Lauren: What do you think?

Michael: Kiss me.

Lauren: [Chuckles]

Kevin: Remind me not to be here at midnight so I don't have to see that again.

Lauren: [Laughs] Relax. I won't even be here. I have an event at Fenmore's. I'm just here to say hello.

Michael: And look fabulous doing it.

Lauren: Aww, thanks.

Michael: [Chuckles]

Lauren: Hmm.

Michael: I think 2016 is going to be a good year.

Lauren: It's gonna be amazing.

Kevin: Yeah, I have to admit, I have some high hopes for the upcoming year.

Billy: I've got a potential business prospect.

Jack: Fantastic. Tell me all about it.

Billy: It's still in the very early stages, so...

Phyllis: Well, that's jack's specialty.

Jack: Yeah, you want to knock around a few ideas, I'm happy to do it.

Billy: You know, I'm gonna wait until it's a little more concrete. And besides, we don't need to be talking business, do we? It's Abby's wedding day. So you know what? I'm gonna see you guys there.

Jack: Okay. You want to tell me what's really going on with him?

Phyllis: Billy told the truth. He is looking into something with potential, but he's not ready to bring you in on it.

Jack: Obviously he told you about it.

Phyllis: Not much more than you heard. And I think it's a good idea that he's taking things slowly and carefully, because he knows he cannot afford to mess up again.

Jack: You can say that again. You know what? After all these years of him being so reckless, I suppose I should be glad that he's being cautious for once.

Phyllis: Yes. That's the way you should look at it.

Jack: Um, ash just walked in. Will you excuse me for a sec?

Phyllis: Sure. Yes. [Chuckles] [Sighs]

Jack: Ash? Hi.

Ashley: Happy New Year.

Jack: Yeah, Happy New Year. Um, I was hoping I'd catch up with you before the ceremony, see how you were holding up under the stress of the wedding and everything.

Ashley: Everything?

Jack: Well, yeah. I mean, you made a lot of big decisions lately. You've been up to a lot. Quitting Jabot, diving into this partnership with this Neville character, getting ready for the wedding.

Ashley: Why do you sound worried?

Jack: It's unlike you, don't you think?

Ashley: I almost died in that fire, Jack. I decided I had to make some changes and quickly. And that's what I've done. Today is about Abby and her happiness, so please excuse me, but I have a bride to attend to. Oh, and, um... don't worry about me. I've got everything under control. Hey!

Abby: Hi!

Chelsea: Hello!

Traci: Glad you're here.

Dr. Neville: Ah. Here he is. The man of the hour.

Stitch: How are you? Come on over here.

Dr. Neville: This is, uh, over here is good, too.

Stitch: Yeah.

Dr. Neville: Is it too soon to offer you my felicitations?

Stitch: I got to tell you, I was pretty surprised that Ashley invited you to be her date.

Dr. Neville: Yeah, I get a lot of that. So many people seem incredulous, but, um, here I am. [Chuckles] Not to worry. I think you'll find I'm an asset to any party.

Stitch: Oh, yeah. You're -- you're an asset, all right. [Chuckles]

Dr. Neville: Am I supposed to read something less than convivial between the lines there, Doctor?

Stitch: Oh, I'm just -- I'm just keeping an eye out for Ashley, you know. She gave up everything at Jabot to work on your project. You drag her down in the muck with you, you're gonna have to answer to a lot of people. Not just me.

Dr. Neville: It's admirable the way you look out for your former colleague and future mother-in-law.

Stitch: Ashley's a good person and a good friend.

Dr. Neville: Ah.

Stitch: She put a lot of trust in you. So she better not wind up disappointed. Consider yourself warned.

Dr. Neville: [Chuckles] I have so many things to consider. But I'll definitely add that to the list.

Dylan: Well, I'm, uh, I'm glad you and sage were able to work things out.

Nick: Yeah, me, too. For a while there...

Dylan: Uh, for a while, everybody was worried about both of you.

Nick: Yeah, I think we're learning how to be together and support each other through the dark moments instead of running away or, in my case, pushing too hard. Either way, it's fear talking. And once we realized that, it was better off for everyone.

Dylan: I'm sure it was.

Sage: [Laughs]

Nick: Looks like everyone's finally in a good place again.

Noah: You sure you don't know what Adam's up to?

Victor: I have no clue, Noah. I think he may be picking up Chelsea.

Noah: Why not just say that? Why be so secretive?

Victor: Noah, don't you worry about Adam, okay? I want you to concentrate on the task at hand, and that is to get the Santoris out of Newman. And you will be a very important part of that, okay? See you upstairs?

Noah: Yeah.

Victor: All right.

Marisa: Even with an invitation, I can't imagine we'd be welcome at the wedding.

Luca: Especially by Noah?

Marisa: By any of the Newmans.

Luca: There's one who likes us. Adam. In fact, we're working on a project together.

Marisa: What kind of project?

Luca: It'll be a good thing for all of us. Put an end to the mistrust between our families.

Marisa: What this plan is, I don't trust Adam. He's a master of deceit. You need to be very careful around him.

Luca: I don't believe everything that comes out of his mouth. But we have something in common. Adam hates his father just as I hate mine.

Marisa: You're getting in the middle of Adam and Victor's relationship? That's a very dangerous idea, Luca.

Luca: It's sweet of you to look out for me. But I won't be making any moves until the waters are well-tested. And what better place to test them than a family wedding?

Chelsea: Are you here for me?

Adam: No, actually, I came to ask -- ask the bride a favor.

Ashley: What kind of a favor?

Abby: It must be a big one for you to show up here now.

Adam: Yeah. You all look beautiful, by the way. Um, I actually, uh, wanted to ask you to invite Luca Santori and Marisa to the wedding, put them on the guest list if you could.

Abby: You can't be serious. Dad's head would literally explode.

Summer: Yeah, and Noah's.

Traci: Santori? Who are they?

Victoria: No one you'd want to meet, trust me.

Adam: Even if Victor explodes at first, he'll get over it, okay? He's not gonna let something like this ruin your wedding. As far as Noah's concerned, he's come a long way when dealing with those two, hasn't he?

Summer: Not far enough.

Ashley: I don't think this is a good idea.

Summer: No, it's a very bad idea.

Chelsea: Uh, ladies, maybe we should just give Adam a chance to explain.

Adam: Thank you.

Victoria: Yes, Adam. Tell us what's behind this brilliant suggestion of yours.

Adam: Listen, I'm not trying to cause any trouble, okay? In fact, quite the opposite. I just think it's time to move forward.

Abby: What does that mean?

Adam: Well, it means there's always some kind of battle going on, right? The Newmans and the Abbotts, the Newmans and the Santoris. I feel like Luca's ready to start a war, and I think if we extend this sort of good faith to him, you know, it could put an end to it.

Nikki: You know, I have to say, I think Adam makes a lot of sense.

Adam: Thank you.

Nikki: And if you should decide to go ahead with it, honey, I will do my best to make sure that Victor stays civil.

Abby: Well, something about this night is making me feel very hopeful about the future, so yes, they can come, as long as they don't cause any trouble.

Adam: No, they will not cause any trouble. I'll vouch for them, okay? I'll keep them on a short leash. Thank you.

Abby: You're welcome.

Adam: [Inhales deeply] Well, carry on.

Chelsea: [Chuckles]

Adam: All right. Bye. See you.

Traci: That was very gracious, Abby.

Abby: Well, you know, that's me. The gracious bride. But now that Adam's left, I should finish getting ready.

Ashley: Wait. One more thing we have to deal with. And it can't wait.

Kevin: Hey.

Billy: Hey.

Kevin: You have the money? I can call Natalie and let her know.

Billy: Actually, uh...

Kevin: Damn it, Billy. Why did I trust you? I already told her I had the funding.

Billy: Look, Kevin, I just need a little more time. That's all.

Kevin: If that money is not in Natalie's bank account in the next 24 hours, she's gonna start shopping this idea around to someone else.

Billy: Kevin, I swear on all that is holy, I will have the funds by tomorrow, okay?

Kevin: The whole $2 million?

Billy: That was our agreement.

Kevin: You'd better, or I'm gonna find someone else to step in and you can kiss this opportunity goodbye.

Billy: [Sighs]

Victor: Thank you.

Neil: Wine spritzer for you and a club soda for me.

Hilary: Thank you. I need to pace myself.

Lily: Hi.

Neil: Hey. Look at you. You look beautiful.

Lily: Aww. Thank you.

Devon: She's not the only one.

Lily: I didn't know you two were coming together.

Hilary: No, um, we didn't. Uh, I'm here solo. Neil just gave me a ride from Jabot.

Neil: Yeah, I figured the whole family's invited, so...

Devon: It was nice of you to help out.

Hilary: Uh, hey, you! You in the tux, come here.

Lily: Yeah, come say hi.

Stitch: Well, how can I refuse an offer like that?

Neil: Hey, congratulations, man. You're marrying a hell of a girl.

Stitch: Thanks. Don't I know it.

Devon: And if you ever forget...

Lily: Abby will definitely remind you.

Devon: That's right.

Stitch: [Chuckles] Well, hey, thank you guys so much for coming out tonight. It means a lot to have so many friends here.

Lily: Of course.

Neil: Cheers.

Stitch: Cheers.

[Glasses clink]

Lily: Congratulations.

Abby: Something we need to deal with now?

Ashley: Yes. Something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.

Abby: That's right. Do we have to do that?

Traci: Yes, we do. It's a tradition.

Chelsea: And I covered the new -- Abby's wedding gown.

Abby: I cannot wait for you guys to see it. It's absolutely gorgeous.

Victoria: Something borrowed.

Abby: [Chuckles] Oh, my gosh.

Traci: They're beautiful.

Ashley: Gorgeous.

Abby: They're beautiful. Oh.

Victoria: Great. I'm glad you like them. Just remember, they're borrowed.

[Laughter]

Abby: Yeah, you are never getting these back.

[Laughter]

Traci: Um, my turn. My turn. Let's see. Here we go.

Abby: Oh.

Ashley: Wow. That's beautiful.

Abby: Oh, my gosh. Aunt Traci.

Traci: Sapphires. Blue.

Abby: [Sighs]

Summer: Can I see? Oh, wow.

Chelsea: Gorgeous.

Abby: I recognize this bracelet. It was Colleen's.

Traci: Yes. [Voice breaking] I know she would want you to have it, and she would be so, so happy for you today. [Sniffles] [Chuckles tearfully] Sorry, sweetie.

Abby: Thank you. I will treasure it forever.

Traci: I know you will. Thank you.

Ashley: Okay. Now it's my turn.

Abby: [Sighs]

Ashley: Something old and very special.

Abby: A handkerchief. [Chuckles] That will come in handy.

[Laughter]

Ashley: Well, it's, um, it has a hand-embroidered "a" on it. And, um... my father gave this to me when I was a little girl.

Nikki: Oh! It was John's.

Ashley: Yeah. Daddy's. [Chuckles] And, uh, you know, he said he had an "a" on it for "Abbott." But for me also as "Ashley." And now for you as "Abby."

Abby: Thank you.

Ashley: And I just wanted you to have this little reminder on this very, very special day, a reminder of the family that you come from and who loves you now and forever.

Abby: I will never forget.

Ashley: I love you, honey.

Billy: Hey, um, can I borrow you?

Jack: Uh, sure. Excuse me a second.

Billy: Thanks.

Jack: So, what's up?

Billy: It's about that business idea.

Jack: I thought you weren't ready to talk about that yet.

Billy: Well, I've reconsidered. The clock is ticking, and, Jack, this is -- this is a fantastic opportunity. I just need a little startup capital.

Jack: Oh, wait. You've come to me for money?

Billy: A loan, yeah. Just to get this nailed down before somebody takes it out from under me.

Jack: How much money are we talking about?

Billy: Uh... $2.2 million.

Nikki: Days like this make you realize how quickly time passes. Before you know it, Abby's gonna be giving that handkerchief to her daughter.

Ashley: Yeah, I would love to see that. This is extraordinary, isn't it?

Nikki: What?

Ashley: Well, when you found out that Abby was Victor's, you really didn't handle it all that well.

Nikki: Well, I don't think you would have, either, Ashley.

Ashley: I didn't mean it that way, of course. I guess I'm just saying it's pretty wonderful that you and I can be here together and celebrate her wedding.

Nikki: Proof that anything is possible.

Ashley: Yeah. I guess so. Uh, gang, I think I'm gonna head out.

Nikki: I am going to go with her.

Traci: Um, could we make it three? I think the girls could use a few minutes alone.

Ashley: Sure. I'll meet you at the valet.

Nikki: I'll see you all at the ceremony.

Traci: You guys have fun.

Ashley: Bye.

Chelsea: Bye.

Ashley: I'm so proud of you. Watching you grow up from a sweet, little girl into this extraordinary young woman that you've become. I'm so proud of you, Abby. Now you're starting a new chapter in your life. Ben loves you so much. He's gonna be there for you, to love you, support you, and take care of you, no matter what life brings.

Abby: Thank you. Thank you so much. I love you.

Ashley: I love you, honey.

Victor: So, how do you feel? A little nervous?

Stitch: No way. I'm just ready to get the wedding started. [Chuckles]

Victor: That's how a groom should feel, stitch.

Stitch: Sir, I love Abby with all my heart, and I promise to give her the life she deserves.

Victor: That's what a father likes to hear.

Nick: So, while you have a minute, I'd like to talk to you about work.

Noah: Right. Hey, I'm sorry to leave you empty-handed at the bar. Sorry about that.

Nick: Noah, I don't care about that. I'm more concerned about you working at Newman. You sure that's a good idea with Luca and Marisa there? I mean, I'm trying to come up with a scenario where this doesn't end up in a disaster for you, and I can't.

Noah: I'll be fine.

Nick: Yeah?

Noah: Yeah.

Nick: You're gonna work there with the woman you're in love with and her husband?

Noah: If I didn't think I could handle it, I wouldn't be there.

Sage: Are you sure?

Noah: Yes. I'm sure. Wouldn't you know it? Mr. And Mrs. Santori just walked in.

Nick: They're here at Abby's wedding?

Noah: Excuse me a minute.

Adam: Just make mine on the rocks, please. Thank you very much.

Noah: Luca, Marisa, I didn't realize that you were gonna be here.

Marisa: We wouldn't miss it.

Luca: Abby's an important executive at Newman. We're delighted to have the chance to wish her well.

Victor: What are you doing here? This is a family gathering. I want you to get out of here.

Victor: Kindly get out.

Adam: It's just, you know, let's everybody slow down. It's okay. I invited them.

Victor: Adam, this is my daughter's wedding. You had no right to invite these people behind my back.

Adam: I didn't do anything behind your back. I asked Abby directly. I explained to her this would be a show of good faith to invite them, and she agreed, quite frankly.

Victor: I doubt that seriously.

Nikki: Victor, that's true. I was there. I think we should abide by Abby's wishes.

Noah: I agree, yeah.

Adam: You agree. There we go. Then everyone's good.

Victor: I doubt that seriously, son.

Adam: Luca, why don't you come with me to the bar? We're gonna see what's taking those drinks so long.

Nikki: Look, he's just trying to make peace. We don't want to ruin Abby's evening.

Victor: And we won't, I assure you, all right?

Luca: I'm amazed Victor would speak to you that harshly.

Adam: Really? What are you talking about? That's -- that's who that guy is. He does that all the time. It's a constant battle with him, you know? Quite frankly, I'm sick of it.

Luca: Yeah, my father judges me, undermines me, humiliates me, although usually in private.

Adam: Well, lucky you. Regardless, we got to take them down. You understand that, right? We got to do it before they know what hit them. Take our proper places at the head of our families.

Luca: Can't come soon enough for me.

Marisa: I didn't want to come, Noah. I didn't feel it was right. I did my best to try to talk Luca out of it.

Noah: I know it wasn't your idea. It's fine. Look, I'm not trying to cause problems here, especially at work. But I'm not gonna stop telling you that I love you. And I think that someday you're gonna see exactly who Luca Santori really is. And when that happens, I'm gonna be here waiting.

Chelsea: Okay, enough celebrating. We're already behind schedule. It's time to get you in your dress!

Victoria: Hear, hear.

Chelsea: [Laughs]

Abby: Okay, first of all, I just want to say how much I appreciate you all being here and helping me get ready. I'm gonna always remember it whenever I think about my wedding day. Now, before I put on my beautiful dress, group hug.

[Laughter]

Nick: Welcome to the family, stitch.

Stitch: Thanks. I appreciate that, Nick.

Nick: You know, the Newman family can be a lot to handle, but just remember you're with the woman you love. You hang on to that, there's nothing you can't handle.

Michael: I'll second that!

Lauren: [Laughs] Ashley. Oh, my goodness. Everything is exquisite. So beautiful.

Ashley: Thank you.

Lauren: And I'm so sorry, but I need to go.

Ashley: Oh, no!

Lauren: Yeah.

Ashley: That's too bad. Well, thank you for coming as long as you did.

Lauren: Absolutely. And Happy New Year.

Ashley: Oh, thank you. You, too. Well, hello. You made it.

Dr. Neville: Yeah, I certainly did. I did, indeed. May I say you look absolutely beautiful.

Ashley: Thank you. You clean up rather well yourself. And thank you for agreeing to be my escort tonight.

Dr. Neville: Are you kidding? I wouldn't miss it for the world. So, are you ready for the momentous occasion? After all, your only child is getting married.

Ashley: Yeah, I'm ready, I guess. I just, um, don't want any surprises, you know.

Billy: After paragon, you froze my accounts, and I wouldn't be coming to you except I don't have that kind of cash available.

Jack: Well, I am not in a position right now to unfreeze those accounts, nor am I in a position to loan you money. Jabot's in pretty perilous shape right now. You know that.

Billy: I know, I know. Jack, this idea could fix all of that, and you won't regret it. I just -- I need the money by tomorrow.

Jack: By tomorrow?

Billy: Yeah, yeah. That's what I promised.

Jack: You promised something you don't have?

Billy: Well, I had a plan to finance the whole thing, but it fell through, so...

Jack: Let me guess. It was a bet.

Billy: Jack, it was -- God, it was supposed to be a surefire thing.

Jack: Billy, what are you thinking?

Billy: It was the quickest way I could come up with the cash without, you know, coming to you on my knees!

Jack: Let me ask you something. How much of this $2.2 million is to pay your gambling debts? I thought you were gonna turn your life around.

Billy: I am! That's what this is all about. Jack, I just -- look, I just need a little seed money. That's all.

Jack: No, Billy. I can't give you that kind of money without more information about this project.

Billy: Well, I can't divulge anything.

Jack: Why the hell not?

Billy: Because I don't want the idea stolen out from under me.

Jack: And you think I'm gonna do that?

Billy: No, no, that's not what I'm saying. I'm just -- Jack... I want something for myself, okay? I want to prove myself. Can't you just have a little faith in me? When this idea hits, it will help me fix everything at Jabot and with Victoria.

Jack: No. The answer is no. Not without a prospectus, not without a business plan or a written proposal, something, anything. I need something more.

Billy: Thanks, Jack. Thanks for giving me an honest chance. I can't deal with you. Can't deal with any of you.

Jack: Wait, where are you going now?

Phyllis: Billy, wait.

Dylan: Uh, everybody, excuse me! It's time! Please take your places.

Gil: Going somewhere, Billy?

Billy: Gil, what -- what the hell are you doing here?

Gil: Can't duck my calls forever, Abbott. You owe me, and it's time to pay.

Phyllis: I wish you'd gone after Billy.

Jack: And miss my niece's wedding? No way.

Neil: Why don't you sit next to Adam? I'm gonna sit right here.

Lily: Okay.

Neil: Okay?

Stitch: [Sighs]

Officiant: Dearly beloved, we are gathered here together in the sight of God to join this man and this woman in holy matrimony. Abby and Ben are surrounded by their friends and family to publicly declare their love for one another.

Jack: Ash!

Traci: [Gasps]

Jack: Ash?

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Stitch: Ash, it's Ben. Can you hear me?

Ashley: Ben?

Victoria: He did mention that he had some irons in the fire.

Jack: Those irons are probably horses that didn't win.

Gil: No, excuse me.

Billy: Hey, hey!

Gil: We're doing this now!
