Episode # 10808 ~ Nick & Sage struggle to keep it together, while Abby & Stitch plan for their future.

Provided By Suzanne

Billy: So, you think if you stare at me long enough, you'll catch a glimpse of those horns growing out of my head?

Victoria: I'm trying to shame you into being honest with me.

Billy: Vicki, how many times do I have to tell you? I'm not planning anything. And I'm not making some big move against your father, either. It's really not my style. Look, would you just trust me and please stop watching me?

Victoria: Sure. As soon as you give me a reason to believe you.

Billy: [Sighs]

Ashley: Abby? What are you doing here?

Abby: Oh, I'm just reading this marketing report. Did you realize that back in 1987 --

Ashley: Honey, I thought you had a meeting with Ben and the wedding planner that I hired.

Abby: Oh, my gosh. Yes. I was supposed to be there 15 minutes ago. I better text Ben.

Ashley: I hope you're telling him that you're on your way.

Abby: Well, yeah. After I finalize this marketing campaign. I mean, I wanted to finish it.

Ashley: This can wait.

Abby: But mom, I wanted to --

Ashley: Honey, this is more important -- your wedding. Are you kidding me? Besides, Nona, that wedding planner -- she does not reschedule.

Abby: Okay. Yes. Um...you're right. What am I thinking? It's only the most important day of my life.

Ashley: Yeah.

Abby: Okay, okay. I am going.

Ashley: Great.

Abby: Love you.

Ashley: I love you.

Abby: Mwah!

Ashley: You have fun, and go big and chic or go home!

Abby: Okay.

Ashley: Bye!

Billy: You have nothing to worry about, okay?

Ashley: Something wrong? Something I should know about?

Billy: [Sighs]

Victor: I'm gonna end her life if you don't end Paragon right now.

Ian: You wouldn't dare.

Victor: I mean it!

Phyllis: Victor, stop it. Stop it.

Victor: You do something about Paragon or I'll kill her right now.

Phyllis: [Gasping]

Ian: You want to kill her? Go ahead.

Nona: So, these pictures I sent you and Abby are starting the process of our planning, Dr. Rayburn.

Stitch: Oh, call me stitch.

Nona: What do you think of this venue?

Stitch: Uh...wow. Bora Bora. Wow. I'm -- I'm sure that'll blow Abby away when she gets here. [Chuckles]

Nona: Or we could do Whitehaven island.

Stitch: That's Australia, right? Yeah, that'd be really nice.

Nona: Shall we book it?

Stitch: Without Abby? Oh, no. No way. You know, I-I'm sorry. I-I don't know why she's late, actually.

Nona: Well, when she gets here, you can tell her what you selected.

Stitch: What I've selected?

Nona: Aruba, Jamaica, the Seychelles.

Stitch: Okay, you know, I -- [Chuckles] I can't decide for the both of us. You know, Abby's so into this whole wedding thing. You know, I'm sure she'll be here any minute.

Nona: Doctor --

Stitch: Stitch.

Nona: If we're gonna pull off this new year's eve extravaganza your fiancée wants, we can't wait a minute.

Stitch: Okay, well, I'm sure a couple minutes can't hurt.

Nona: Theses venues could be booked up within the hour.

Stitch: That fast?

Nona: So, you'll make a decision?

Stitch: What? Who? Me? No, no, no, no, no, no.

Nona: You are the -- the groom, after all.

Stitch: [Sighs]

Nona: There -- a plethora of places. Winter wedding, new life, new year -- which of these speak to your heart?

Stitch: I...don't know.

Nona: Stitch, you didn't become a physician by being ambivalent. You're strong, decisive.

Stitch: Uh, that's kind of true.

Nona: Pick one! Now!

Stitch: Okay. How about that right there?

Nona: Excellent. Done and done.

Sage: Say that you blame me for having faith practically run out of here with Mariah.

Nick: I don't blame you. Now, can we get back to work?

Sage: I know you're mad at me, Nick.

Nick: I'm not mad at you.

Sage: I thought you wanted to be honest with each other.

Nick: Okay, honestly, yeah, you should have given faith a little time before you approached her again.

Sage: So, you mean that I should have done what you told me to do, but since I didn't, it was a disaster.

Nick: Faith was upset. That's it. She'll get over it. It's not a big deal. Now, can we please just drop this?

Sage: Okay, then when do you want to talk about it? When we're at home and she might overhear us? If you are mad at me, then tell me why.

Nick: I'm just saying that you should have handled the situation a little differently, especially with a kid.

Sage: [Chuckles] Yeah. But how would I know that? I obviously have no idea what it means to be a parent because my baby died, and I will never know what it feels like to raise a child of my own.

Adam: You do realize that Christmas is, like, a couple weeks away, right?

Chelsea: Don't be a scrooge. I want to savor every last moment.

Adam: Really? Okay. Well, then let's do it the proper way. You know, we'll have the "ho, ho, ho" Santas all around. We'll have the eggnog. We'll do the -- the fruit pie or the fruitcake -- whatever they do.

Chelsea: Uh, I don't know. Maybe something a little less cheesy.

Adam: Okay. Well, who's the scrooge now, Mrs. Claus?

Chelsea: [Laughs]

Adam: Besides, what's cheesy about wanting to spend the holidays with your family, especially if you're me. I thought I was gonna be in the clinker.

Chelsea: All right. Well, when you put it that way...

Adam: Uh-oh. What have I just done?

Chelsea: There is something I want to do right now.

Adam: Really? Something you want to -- what do you suppose your mom has cooking, huh?

Chelsea: Well, if you want to find out, I suggest you grab your coats.

Adam: But, baby, it's cold outside.

Chelsea: [Chuckles]

Adam: See what I did?

Chelsea: That was good.

Adam: It's good, right?

Chelsea: That was good. Well, I'll keep you warm.

Adam: Okay.

Chelsea: Hurry up. This is gonna be fun. Come on.

Adam: You ready? You ready? Let's go!

Chelsea: Come get your coats on.

Adam: It better be good.

Chelsea: It will be. [Chuckles]

Abby: Nona! Hello. Hi. Hi. I'm so sorry. Um, thank you for all of the pictures that you sent us. It looks great. Uh, where are you guys?

Nona: Unfortunately, I'm out the door.

Abby: Already? Um, I-I just got here.

Nona: Sweetie, if I stay any longer, I'll grow roots. I'm not the kind of girl to stay in one place too long.

Abby: All right. Well, even a couple more minutes.

Nona: I have another client, and your doctor --

Stitch: Stitch.

Nona: He gave me plenty to go on. Talk soon.

Abby: Bye. Plenty to go on, huh?

Stitch: Okay, look... you left me defenseless. That -- that woman is a big bridal force of nature. Okay, next thing you know, I was talking rose petals, sunsets, and lace patterns.

Abby: Lace patterns? [Laughs]

Stitch: [Chuckles] It's not funny, okay? You owe me. What happened?

Abby: Work. I'm sorry. I-I lost track of time.

Stitch: Okay, well, I'm gonna show you everything that I picked out, and if you don't like it, tough.

Abby: You're kidding, right?

Stitch: Yeah, I'm kidding. [Laughs] Okay, you have full veto power.

Abby: I knew I loved you. Mwah! And I am sure I'm gonna love everything that you picked out.

Stitch: Yeah, I wouldn't be so sure about that, but I'll show you what we got.

Nick: I didn't mean it like that. Sage, you're usually amazing with faith. But there is nothing usual about what we're all going through right now.

Sage: No, there isn't anything usual about it.

Nick: We're gonna make it through this.

Sage: I feel horrible about what happened, Nick.

Nick: Hey, it's gonna be okay.

Sage: But I don't appreciate being criticized about my lack of maternal instincts, okay?

Nick: I never said anything like that to you.

Sage: Well, that's -- that's exactly how I feel.

Nick: That's what you're reading into it. Look, I don't want you to feel like I'm attacking you or that I'm picking a fight with you.

Sage: I don't either, okay? But that's what we're doing.

Nick: Sage --

Sage: And I don't want to fight with you, Nick, okay? So, I'm just gonna step outside for a second and get some air.

Nick: Sage, please, don't...

Billy: Everything is fine.

Ashley: Then why did you tell Victoria there's nothing to worry about? I mean, nobody ever says that when things are actually fine.

Victoria: I'd love to hear you explain that, too.

Billy: Look, all I'm saying is that this nightmare with Paragon and Ian ward is gonna be over soon. Okay? And -- and by the way, have either of you heard anything from jack or Kevin about that hacker in Geneva?

Ashley: No, not yet. Where did that lead come from, again?

Billy: I was working with Newman enterprises' cyber-security team. The trail led to Switzerland, okay?

Victoria: But...?

Billy: Enough with the 20 questions, all right? I've got a meeting to go to.

Ashley: I'm gonna have 20 more questions when you get back, Billy.

Billy: Well, that'll be fun. Look, would you guys just relax? We all want the same thing here.

Ashley: I don't believe that for a second. I don't think you do, either.

Phyllis: Just stop it! Please!

Ian: My dear, he will stop himself.

Phyllis: Help me, please. Somebody help me! Ian. [Choking]

Ian: All right, Victor! Stop!

Phyllis: [Coughing]

Ian: I'll take you to the server. Are you all right?

Phyllis: [Breathing shakily]

Ian: How could you be so perverse as to threaten the life of this extraordinary woman?

Victor: Let's get out of here now.

Ian: Yes.

Adam: It's a perfect day, huh?

Chelsea: Yeah.

Adam: Except, of course, when you joined that caroler group.

Chelsea: You didn't see that coming, did you?

Adam: No, I heard it. Heard it for sure.

Chelsea: [Laughs] It's "joy to the world." I had to sing it.

Adam: It was at the top of your lungs, sweetheart.

Chelsea: Well, I couldn't help it. I'm feeling in the holiday spirit. What do you want me to say? [Chuckles]

Adam: [Laughs] You're spinning around.

Chelsea: There's snow on the ground and it's a beautiful day. I get to spend Christmas with you.

Adam: I got my wife and I got my son.

Sage: Adam? You're supposed to be...

Adam: In prison. Yeah.

Chelsea: Wait. You didn't -- you didn't hear?

Sage: No. What?

Adam: My appeal was today.

Sage: You got let go?

Adam: Well, you know, I -- uh, no -- no prison time. I got five years' probation.

Sage: Oh, that's fantastic!

Adam: Yeah, yeah.

Sage: I'm so happy for you and your family. Now you can stay a family.

Adam: Yeah. Yeah, we're thrilled about it. All right?

Sage: Yeah.

Adam: Yeah?

Sage: Yeah. I'm good. I'M...just working, keeping busy. Uh, I was just shopping for a Christmas wreath for the door at the underground.

Chelsea: I am gonna take him to get some hot chocolate for us, so, Sage, will you, uh, keep Adam company till we get back? I'll see you later.

Adam: Okay.

Sage: She's so sweet, Chelsea.

Adam: Yeah.

Sage: Totally transparent, but very sweet. You don't have to stay here with me. I-I'm really -- I'm fine.

Adam: You're fine? Who's transparent now, huh? You want to tell me what's really going on? What are you doing here alone?

Abby: Hey. Uh, we couldn't help but notice that Sage left kind of quickly.

Nick: Yeah. Things are pretty difficult between us right now.

Abby: Of course, they are. I mean, you guys just suffered a terrible loss. But it's not awful all the time, is it?

Nick: Not all the time. I mean...we just started therapy.

Abby: Is that helping?

Nick: Sometimes I feel like, uh, we're connecting, but most of the time, it's just like this giant wall between us.

Abby: I'm so sorry, Nick.

Nick: Eh, it's rough. I think it's harder for Sage.

Stitch: If you don't mind my asking, why'd she leave?

Nick: Faith came in talking about her new baby brother, Sharon and Dylan's son.

Stitch: Which reminded Sage of little Christian.

Nick: Yeah. It didn't go well.

Stitch: It's got to be painful hearing about Sully.

Nick: You know, I'm trying so hard to be happy for them. Yeah, I haven't even told Sage about the christening, which is tomorrow, because I'm afraid of how Sage is gonna react.

Abby: Well, I guess you just have to take it day by day or minute by minute.

Nick: Yeah. I guess I should be glad Dad told me to take some time off from Newman, huh? [Chuckles]

Abby: What does that mean?

Nick. Yeah. Dad basically pushed me right out of the family business.

Abby: What?

Nick: You didn't know?

Abby: No, I had no idea. But why would he do that? You're a huge asset, Nick.

Nick: Not for what Dad has planned.

Abby: [Sighs]

[Lock disengages, door opens]

Ian: There.

[Door closes]

Ian: Yeah.

Victor: So, this is the room from which sprang all the destruction?

Ian: This is it.

Victor: Turn it off.

Ian: I can't. I-I promised that I'd bring you here, and I did that. I can't do anything else.

Victor: I said turn it off!

Ian: I can't do anything about the virus, all right? I can't.

Ashley: Victoria, do you remember when I told you before that I was afraid that Billy might be behind this latest Paragon attack?

Victoria: I thought he might be up to something.

Ashley: And now?

Victoria: I don't want to believe it, Ashley. I don't want to think that Billy would purposefully try to destroy my father's life's work.

Ashley: Have you heard something?

Victoria: Just bits and pieces. Enough to think that maybe he's looking to take my father's company down.

Ashley: If he's using that virus, he could be taking down Jabot, too.

Victoria: Yeah. I know that's a possibility.

Ashley: But how is it possible? 'Cause Billy's no IT genius. How could he be doing this?

Victoria: There are signs that he has a partner. I walked in on a conversation between Billy and Phyllis.

Ashley: Phyllis?

Victoria: It sounded like they were plotting something. They offered me a feasible explanation.

Ashley: But you didn't buy it.

Victoria: They also had their heads together at Katherine's birthday party. At first, I didn't think that it meant anything, but now I'm beginning to wonder why these two suddenly have so much to say to each other.

Ashley: Billy and Phyllis working together? I mean, I never would have thought of that in a million years

Victoria: Well, the Phyllis thing is just a hunch. I mean, Ian Ward is still out there. Maybe I'm wrong about Billy. Maybe this Geneva lead will solve all our problems and Kevin and Jack will put an end to Paragon while they're there.

Ashley: [Sighs] I hope so, because I really want to be wrong about my brother.

Victoria: So do I.

Ashley: But my gut is telling me that he wants to hurt Victor, and he doesn't care who else he hurts in the process. What? Is there something else?

Victoria: Today at the courthouse, Billy was furious at my father. I confronted him about it, but he assured me that my fears were unfounded, just like he did with you now.

Ashley: Okay, you know what? We're not getting anywhere by asking Billy questions. There has to be another way to get to the truth.

Victoria: There is a way, Ashley.

Sage: And that's when Nick told me that I basically handled the entire situation wrong.

Adam: You already knew that, though, right?

Sage: Uh, yeah. I just lost it. Again. And that's the frustrating thing, Adam, is you can't see it coming. This grief -- it -- sometimes I'm fine, and the next minute, I'm yelling at a perfectly innocent girl who did nothing wrong.

Adam: What do you suppose set you off?

Sage: [Sighs] She wanted to spend time with Sharon and Dylan and the baby, and I made her sound like she was deserting Nick, deserting us, because Sharon and Dylan have this perfect, healthy newborn child, and I don't. [Sighs] And I'm sick of crying. I'm done crying, Adam. Nick's mad at me, and I don't blame him. I'm mad at myself.

Adam: Sit down with me. Here.

Sage: No.

Adam: Come on. Come on.

Sage: [Sighs]

Adam: I don't think you can blame yourself for what you said. You know what happens. Sometimes we're human, right? You get so upset you say things you don't mean. Everyone knows that. Nick knows that. He'll understand.

Sage: He said he did.

Adam: Yeah?

Sage: But I told him he had every right to defend his daughter. You know, that's what parents do. But...what the hell am I supposed to do now?

Adam: What the hell are you supposed to do about what?

Sage: This hole in my life -- Christian -- it's impossibly huge. And I can't think about anything else.

Adam: You know, I will say this. As much as it pains me to defend my brother -- he's so perfect --

Sage: [Laughs]

Adam: Um...you should talk to him. I know him. If you talk to him, he'll listen.

Sage: Yeah. He says that we have to share how we feel with each other.

Adam: Well, I think he's right.

Sage: [Sighs] Not after what happened today. [Chuckles, sniffles] Oh, I shared today.

Adam: Yeah?

Sage: I-I showed him all my emotions, and it made everything worse. [Sighs] I just don't know what to do.

Adam: Yeah. I imagine that would make things worse, but you know what? That's how these things work, right? Things get worse before they get better. That's what's gonna happen if you two are gonna work this out.

Sage: Well, that's just it, Adam. I'm so afraid that if I really show Nick the dark feelings that I have inside of me, we're not gonna survive.

Nick: Nothing is more important than Sage and Faith right now, so I guess I shouldn't be too concerned about what Dad did.

Abby: Dad actually said he didn't want you at Newman?

Nick: Well, he didn't lay it out like that, but it's obvious what he meant.

Stitch: I'm confused. Uh... sorry. This is a family thing.

Abby: No. You're almost family. Dive right in.

Stitch: Okay, it's just Victor's always pushing his kids to be a part of the company. Why wouldn't he want you around?

Nick: Dad's planning to rebuild the empire with a vengeance. It's gonna get ugly.

Stitch: Okay. And why is that a problem?

Abby: Nick doesn't do ugly. He has a thing called a conscience that gets in the way.

Nick: Let's just say there are people better equipped for this kind of corporate warfare.

Abby: And why do you think it's headed in that direction?

Nick: Just a hunch. I'll get you something to eat.

Abby: Wait. No. You know what? You already put it in my head, so just go ahead and tell me. I need to know. It's gonna get ugly because...?

Nick: Dad thinks Billy had something to do with Paragon coming back after the fire.

Abby: Billy? [Laughs] That's... you're being serious.

Nick: Hey, it sounded off to me, too. But Dad is convinced Billy is out to get him. There's a war brewing.

Abby: No. I don't want both of my families battling each other again. I thought we had finally moved past that.

Nick: I wish we had. But you need to be prepared, Abby. Dad is gearing up for a dirty fight.

Abby: And he needs Adam.

Nick: He has never been burdened with a conscience.

Abby: Which is why he wanted Adam's sentence reduced and he pushed me to testify on Adam's behalf. Oh, my gosh.

Stitch: And it worked.

Nick: Adam's out?

Abby: Yes. Just probation and community service.

Nick: [Sighs] I forgot the appeal was this morning. So, that means Dad can put his plan into motion. He is gonna crush anyone who stands in his way.

Victor: You stop this charade and shut Paragon down now.

Ian: I-I can't.

Victor: Bull, you can't.

Phyllis: Tell him what he wants to know. He's crazy.

Ian: On that, we agree. I can't do anything about the virus, Victor. I told you that back at the motel. I've been telling you that all along.

Victor: You created the damn thing. Shut it down.

Ian: It has a mind of its own! Can't you grasp that?! Or maybe else has found a way to wrangle its power.

Phyllis: Ian, I know that you like to play mind games with Victor, but you need to stop messing around. My life is at risk. So is yours.

Victor: She's absolutely right. Do you understand that? Your life is at risk. You shut the damn thing down!

Ian: Okay, Victor. All right. All right. Let go. I swear to you on my well-traveled soul I'm being honest with you. I can't turn the damn thing off. I can't do it!

Victoria: And you're heading up the Newman cyber team? Good. Uh, what can you tell me about the lead you discovered in Geneva? The one about the computer virus -- Paragon. [Sighs] Thank you.

Ashley: What did you find out?

Victoria: You lied to me.

Adam: It's miserable, isn't it?

Sage: Yeah.

Adam: Just...walking around, pretending everything's okay, hiding your feelings. Just pretending that you didn't go through the most horrible thing imaginable. You're doing that, and all the while, you just want to scream at the top of your lungs, right?

Sage: Curl into a ball, break something.

Adam: I mean, the luxury of just being able to...just feel what you're feeling, you know?

Sage: You really do understand. Is it because of what you went through with Chelsea and the baby and the miscarriage? What could be worse?

Adam: What could be worse? Going through it twice would be worse.

Chelsea: Like Nick.

Adam: Like Nick. Yeah. You know, um... it's -- it's sort of well-documented what I think of my brother. It's not a lot.

Sage: [Chuckles]

Adam: Um... he's a good guy, Sage. He's a good guy. I know that. And what you two have is worth fighting for. I know that, too.

Sage: I know that. I just don't know how to do it.

Adam: Chelsea and I did it. Let that be your proof. We did it. We found our way back together. You two can do the same.

Sage: I wish I could believe that.

Adam: Believe it. Sage, believe it. And just remember you're not the only one going through this. Christian's father...is suffering right alongside you. Come here.

Nick: You got to distance yourself from this, Abby. Do not get sucked into this latest round of Newman versus jabot. You cannot win.

Abby: You make it sound simple when it's anything but.

Nick: You have the perfect distraction standing right behind you.

Stitch: Present. [Chuckles]

Abby: [Chuckles]

Nick: Focus on your life, you know, your wedding, and I'm not talking about the invitations or the floral arrangement or the first song for your dance.

Abby: But I love all that stuff.

Nick: I know you do. But I'm talking about diving into the bigger picture. That's your life together, your future with him. 'Cause, really, that's the only thing that matters.

Stitch: That's excellent advice. You gonna take it?

Abby: I'll try.

Stitch: Good. Because if things are gonna get as bad as Nick is saying, I don't want you getting caught in the crossfire.

Billy: All right. What did I just walk into?

Victoria: You lied to me, and you lied to your sister and to jack.

Billy: Okay. About what?

Ashley: Don't play dumb. It's really unbecoming.

Billy: It's also easier said than done for some people. What -- what are we talking about?

Victoria: I fact-checked your story. The cyber team didn't give you some sort of a lead. You sent jack to Geneva for no reason. Paragon is not being run by some hacker in Switzerland, Billy.

Billy: They're mistaken.

Victoria: You're behind this.

Billy: Vicki, are you kidding me? How would I --

Victoria: Don't lie to me again!

Billy: [Sighs]

Victoria: You didn't cover your tracks, and you got caught.

Billy: So, you're operating on a feeling here, right? No actual proof? It doesn't make sense. Why would I send jack on some wild-goose chase?

Ashley: There's only one possible explanation, Billy. You wanted more time to do even more damage with Paragon.

Billy: [Sighs]

Ashley: Oh, God. What's going on?

Victor: You can't stop the virus in the computer? Well, why don't we... stop the damn computer?

Phyllis: Wait -- it doesn't work that way.

Victor: That's the only thing that works! The virus is in this damn room somewhere. I'll destroy it! I'll destroy the whole room!

[Electricity crackles]

Abby: But I can't avoid being sucked into this mess if I keep working at Newman, and according to Nick, I need to get married and quit my job and have kids and be a stay-at-home mom.

Stitch: Okay, is that -- is that what you think he said?

Abby: Is that what you want, Ben? Do you want me to quit?

Stitch: Look, it's your decision. But if you stay, dodge the craziness.

Abby: And how do I manage that?

Stitch: Tell both sides of your family you're there to work, not to fight or stab people you care about in the back. [Chuckles]

Abby: You know me so well, and you know that I'm not ready to walk away from my career.

Stitch: All right. Well, since we're talking about this...what are your long-term plans?

Abby: About work?

Stitch: About us. You said you want to have kids. When we start our family, will you want to keep working?

Chelsea: Here, buddy. You've been quiet.

Adam: Really?

Chelsea: That conversation with Sage must have really gotten to you.

Adam: Yeah. It's tough, you know? I mean, it's tough for her.

Chelsea: Yeah, and -- and Nick.

Adam: Yeah. I-I didn't know what to say to her, you know? I tried to help. It's just -- it's just a bunch of words. I'm not sure I helped much.

Chelsea: And you feel that way because you feel guilty?

Adam: Why would I feel guilty?

Chelsea: No, I mean, I felt guilty, too. There we were, one big happy family -- you, me, and Connor -- happy, celebrating the holidays. And then there's Sage.

Adam: Yeah.

Chelsea: Babe?

Adam: You know, I was talking to her. I think just everything sort of came back to the surface, you know -- how I felt -- how we felt after the miscarriage.

Chelsea: Yeah. The truth is, though, it's even worse for Nick and Sage. I mean, their son is born, and they're looking forward to their first Christmas together, and then suddenly, he's just -- he's just taken from them. I-I can't even imagine.

Nick: Sage Warner, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?

Sage: Nick, I wasn't... expecting this.

Nick: You said the two of us have been looking for a place where we belong. Well, what if -- what if where we belong is right here, with each other?

Nick: Hey.

Sage: Hey.

Nick: I didn't know if you were gonna come back.

Sage: Well, I told you I was just going out for some air.

Nick: Sage, I'm so sorry about what happened earlier. I did not mean to upset you. It's just I'm very protective of faith. She has had to deal with more stuff than any kid should have to in her short life. I mean, her parents got divorced, her mom's emotional struggles, now the death of a sibling.

Sage: Nick, I know. I'm the one who should be apologizing to you.

Ashley: Oh, my God. What the hell have you done, Billy?

Victoria: Why are you doing this?

Billy: It wasn't me. I have no idea what's going on.

Ashley: The phone's dead. Internet's out. Do you realize that you are making jabot vulnerable? You could be causing irreparable damage.

Billy: Come on.

Ashley: Just keep it to yourself, okay? I got to find somebody to fix this.

Billy: Look, I'm gonna go help her.

Victoria: No. You're not going anywhere.

Phyllis: Oh!

Ian: [Breathing heavily]

Victor: You've seen what I can do. Want me to do something to you?

Ian: There's -- there's no reason for violence.

Victor: There's never been a better reason for violence. You have caused so much destruction! You will not go unpunished!

Ian: Oh, you're crazy!

Phyllis: Ian, these are federal agents. Thank you for coming so quickly.

Victor: Arrest him. Get him out of here.

Ian: [Chuckles]

Abby: I plan to work as long as possible. Why wouldn't I?

Stitch: Uh, no, no --

Abby: When you and Victoria thought that you were gonna have a child together, did you expect for her to just walk away from her job?

Stitch: Well, no, but --

Abby: And I take my job just as seriously as she does.

Stitch: Okay, I think you're taking this the wrong way.

Abby: But you just said --

Stitch: I was just asking. That's all. Okay? I just -- I wasn't sure of your thoughts because we haven't discussed this before. That's it.

Abby: Oh. [Chuckles] Well, you know what? Um, why are we even talking about this right now? We have more important things to discuss, like the boutonniere and the place settings that you picked out for our beautiful wedding.

Stitch: By the way, what is a boutonniere?

Abby: [Laughs] Come here. What did you do?

Sage: I messed up with faith, I felt awful about it, and I took it out on you. And I'm so sorry, Nick. I'm gonna try to be more sensitive to what faith is going through, okay?

Nick: Thanks for the apology and understanding.

Sage: Not only do I understand, I agree. The child will always come first.

Billy: Look, whatever the hell is going on, I'm not responsible, okay?

Victoria: This time.

Billy: See? There you go. Everything's okay.

Victoria: Things are so far from okay.

Billy: Victoria, I want you to let this go.

Victoria: How many times have you looked me in the eye and told me that you're not plotting anything and that you're not behind the return of Paragon? How could you do this?!

Billy: Because of Victor, okay? I just wanted a little bit of justice for my daughter. But your father -- he couldn't care less about that. He pushes Adam to jump bail, then he pulls some judge's strings so he doesn't have to serve a prison sentence. And that is the kind of heartless, selfish man that your father is. But I want you to know something, Victoria. He's not untouchable. And I had to do something.

Victoria: Yeah. Well, you did something. You ruined any chance we ever had of being a family again.

Billy: Don't say that.

Victoria: We're done.

Billy: Don't you say that. Victoria!

Victor: They'll be no way of escaping prison this time, Ian ward.

Phyllis: You'll understand if I don't write.

Ian: You think this is the end of this story? Think again.

Victor: Get him out of here.

Phyllis: Looks like our plan worked.

Victor: You played your part very well. I hope I didn't hurt you.

Phyllis: Not this time.

Victor: What do you mean not this time? Are you accusing me of something or what?

Phyllis: I am accusing you of you being you.

Victor: Mm.

Phyllis: I know all too well the lengths you will go to remove any obstacle in your way.

Victor: And don't you ever forget it.

Phyllis: Yeah.

Victor: Christian was your child, wasn't he?

Adam: Well, do you have any proof to back that up? No, no, no. Forgot who I was talking to. You're Victor Newman. You don't deal with silly little things like proof.

Victor: I don't need any proof other than having seen your face at Christian's memorial.

[Cell phone rings]

Adam: Hello, Dad.

Victor: I've brought down Ian ward and Paragon.

Adam: You sure about that?

Victor: Now the question is will you hold up your end of the bargain. You and I together will bring down jabot, right?

[Clicks]

Chelsea: I'm guessing Victor didn't call to wish us a happy holiday.

Adam: One day. I've been home one damn day.

Chelsea: What is it? What happened?

Adam: You were right all along. He's gonna make me pay for my freedom.

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Sage: I saw the invitation. Sharon's baby's being christened.

Luca: The 30 days are up. You failed to keep your end of the bargain.

Ashley: I'm not always right, but this time, I am. Because Victoria's never gonna forgive Billy just like jack's never gonna forgive you.
