Episode # 10796 ~ Victory extends Adam a lifeline; Neil gambles with his life; Nick & Chelsea bond.

Provided By Suzanne

Adam: Me? I'm Christian's father? That's crazy.

Victor: It's the truth.

Adam: All right, look, Sage and I were married in name only, okay? I can guarantee you there was absolutely no sex going on in that marriage. None.

Victor: But Nicholas told me that there were questions about the baby's paternity when Sage first got pregnant.

Adam: Did Nick also mention to you that there was a paternity test to prove that he was the father?

Victor: We both know you had good reason to fudge the results of the paternity test.

Adam: What would those reasons be?

Victor: You were trying to hide your true identity. Had it become known that your DNA was in that baby's blood, your newly created world would have come crashing down.

Chelsea: Nick?

Nick: [Sobbing] He's gone. My son's gone.

Chelsea: Oh, my God. It's okay. It's okay.

Nick: [Sniffles]

Chelsea: It's okay.

Nick: [Sobs]

Gwen: What do you mean, I have to finish what you started?

Dr. Neville: Well, it's imperative that Mrs. Hamilton completes the course of treatment I started her on. Ergo, she's got to ingest these in some manner.

Gwen: And you think I can get her to do that?

Dr. Neville: Well, I'm not saying it's going to be easy. I'm saying it's imperative. You are familiar with the word imperative, as in absolutely necessary or required?

Gwen: [Sighs] Look, you might be a medical genius, but when it comes to dealing with people, you don't know Jack.

Dr. Neville: Well, apparently neither do you.

Gwen: Well, I know it'd be a huge risk to walk up to Hilary's doorstep with the cure to her amnesia. I might as well wear a sign that says "Neil and I were holding you hostage the entire time."

Dr. Neville: All right, miss Randall, point taken. Well played. By all means, you tell me, in light of all the clement factors in our current situation, how do you propose we deal with it?

Gwen: We wait. We wait till she gets her memory back --

Dr. Neville: No.

Gwen: ...And she can say that Neil had nothing to do with the accident.

Dr. Neville: No! Listen to me, miss Randall, you don't understand. That is not an option because it's not going to happen, not if she doesn't take these pills. Gwendolyn, the fact is, if Hilary doesn't complete the course of treatment, then not getting her memory back isn't the worst thing that could happen to her.

Gwen: What does that mean?

Dr. Neville: There might be... side effects. Life-threatening side effects.

Devon: Thank you, Dr. Cutler. I really appreciate the information.

Dylan: Hey.

Devon: Hey. Any luck?

Dylan: HR wouldn't give me any information on their employees. I'm gonna have to just talk to some of the staff by myself. How about you?

Devon: This was the guy that Victor brought out here to get Phyllis out of her coma, Dr. Cutler.

Dylan: That guy from Sweden?

Devon: Switzerland. And, uh, he said it wasn't him. He has no plans to ever return to Genoa City. And he doesn't know anyone in the US who's doing experimental work on coma patients.

Dylan: There's got to be somebody.

Devon: He also said that this is a highly specialized field in its beginning stages, and it took him years to perfect a cocktail of drugs that are effective with minimal side effects.

Dylan: Okay, so if it was a doctor treating Hilary, then...

Devon: Then they were using her like a damn guinea pig, Dylan, and when I find this guy, I --

Dylan: Just take -- just take it easy.

Devon: How are you gonna tell me to take it easy? He messed with my wife's mind. She's not even the same woman that I married.

Dylan: That's not true.

Devon: If it was, she would remember loving me. She'd remember how much I love her.

Dylan: Devon, you got her back.

Devon: Dylan, we found Hilary, but she is still lost to me.

Hilary: You were there. I remember. You were standing right in front of me.

Neil: Where -- where'd you see me?

Hilary: At my wedding to Devon. You said that you forgave us and that we were lucky to have each other and that you wished us a lifetime of happiness.

Neil: Yeah, I-I did say those things. I did. Why are you so upset?

Hilary: Because it doesn't make any sense. Why would you come to our wedding and say all of these kind things after we hurt you so badly? I just -- I don't think that you got over our betrayal.

Neil: Well, Hilary, I don't know if you ever completely get over something like that.

Hilary: Then why did you say all those things?

Adam: It's quite a tale you're spinning, you know? We got concealed identities over here. We got falsified DNA records over there. We got brother versus brother. Can't wait to hear what's next in your little, uh, little world of fairytale fantasy.

Victor: Mm-hmm. It ain't fiction. It ain't a fantasy. When she was pregnant, you were Gabriel Bingham, and you did not want to destroy your newly found life. You didn't want to divulge that false identity, did you?

Adam: Sage overreacted.

Victor: Especially if she never slept with you.

Adam: You're good. You're good. [Clears throat] The truth -- [Clears throat] It was one time, okay?

Victor: Uh-huh.

Adam: Chelsea and I weren't together. In fact, I told Chelsea about it. She knows the whole story.

Victor: Don't give me that bull. You weren't concerned about Chelsea being upset that you had stepped out of your relationship with her. You didn't give a damn about that. You were concerned about something else. You were concerned about the fact that the lab technician looking at the test results would sort of look at it and say, "whoa! The DNA samples of the potential fathers are awfully similar." And then you bribed him, didn't you?

Adam: Bribed -- okay. Now we got bribery.

Victor: Told him to keep his mouth shut.

Adam: Yeah, look, I'm gonna need a pen to write all this down. I am -- I'm losing track.

Victor: You weren't going to let anything ruin your life that you had built for yourself.

Adam: Well, if that were the case, I would have taken Chelsea and Connor and I would have left town.

Victor: No, you wouldn't have, because you had a bigger priority. That was to destroy your father.

Adam: I see. It all leads back to you, doesn't it?

Nick: I'm okay. I'm okay. Thanks. [Sighs] I'm sorry.

Chelsea: No. No, no, it's -- you just lost your son. There's no right way to deal with that. You can scream or cry or throw things, whatever you need. No one is judging you, okay? Everybody understands and everyone supports you.

Nick: [Sighs] Not everyone.

Gwen: You never said anything about Hilary's life being at risk.

Dr. Neville: It wasn't as long as she was under my care. It's not my fault she decided to vacate in the middle of treatment.

Gwen: What the hell did you give her?

Dr. Neville: [Sighs] That's the thing -- it was a very, very specific but complex combination of medications that have to be administered over a certain period of time. Don't you see? She never completed the protocol.

Gwen: And she could die if she doesn't get the rest of the medication?

Dr. Neville: No, that's where it gets tricky. I'm not exactly 100% on all the consequent ramifications.

Gwen: Why didn't you bring her back from the hospital when you had the chance so that you could bring her back to the boathouse and we could finish the treatment?

Dr. Neville: It's easier said than done. May I remind you she wasn't exactly inclined to cooperation at the moment. I couldn't just manhandle my way out of memorial. I couldn't risk being recognized.

Gwen: Yeah, all those conduct violations that you were fired for are starting to make sense.

Dr. Neville: That is hardly fair. You and Mr. Winters knew exactly what you were signing on for when you asked for my help. And, by the way, I did exactly what I promised you I would do. I restored Hilary to consciousness.

Gwen: Yeah, well, that doesn't mean much if she dies.

Dr. Neville: Which she's not going to do if she takes these pills, which is why I'm begging you to make sure she does.

Devon: There's got to be a way to override the effects of these drugs that have messed with Hilary's memory.

Dylan: I know. I thought your wedding album might jog her memory.

Devon: So did I. I have to do more, though. I have -- I have to, uh, I need to do things that we used to do together, you know. I can prepare her favorite meal that we used to have at the club, get her favorite bottle of wine, her favorite music, just something.

Dylan: Devon, slow down. I know how hard this is for you. Imagine what Hilary's going through. She goes to sleep married to one guy, wakes up married to another, and she's lost months of her life.

Devon: Right, and I'm trying to fill those gaps in for her.

Dylan: Yes, I know. With everything I'm going through with Sharon, you don't think I'd heal her like that? Yes, I would. But sometimes you got to step back and give the person you love time to heal.

Devon: And what if they don't?

Dylan: [Sighs]

Hilary: Neil, what is going on? I'm starting to remember things, but nothing makes any sense.

Neil: No, it may not make any sense, but what happened between you and me and Devon, it's all -- it's all complicated.

Hilary: And painful. I can see how much this hurts you, but I just -- I need to know what happened.

Neil: Okay. Here it is. When I first found out about your affair with my son, I was consumed with anger and thoughts of revenge. I couldn't stop thinking about ways that I could hurt you both, and I'm not proud of the way I behaved.

Hilary: What Devon and I did to you, it was terrible. You had every right to be furious. That's why I don't understand.

Neil: That's why I said the kind, generous words at your wedding.

Hilary: And you forgave us?

Neil: Hell no. That -- that was all a lie. I didn't mean a single word I said. Man, you know something? I hated you for marrying my son. I hated you both. I wanted you to suffer! I didn't want you to be happy! And that is why I was on the island for your honeymoon.

Hilary: You followed us to the virgin islands?

Neil: I was there when you fell.

Hilary: You were there when I fell off the cliff?

Neil: Yes, I was.

Hilary: Then why didn't you say anything before now?

Neil: Because I was hoping that you would remember all on your own. You see, your memory has been coming back in bits and pieces, and somehow I didn't -- I didn't want you to jump to bad conclusions here.

Hilary: Okay, so you just -- you thought that it was better if I heard the whole story from you? Is that --

Neil: Do you understand that I-I can help you make sense of things here?

Hilary: Well, Paul told me that I was arguing with someone before I fell. Was that you?

Neil: Yes, it was me. You see, I came to the island because I wanted to show you this video. That's why I was there.

Hilary: A video? What video?

Neil: This. This video right here.

Hilary: Okay, Devon with a woman?

Neil: No, it was a prostitute. It was the night of his bachelor party.

Hilary: So he cheated on me and you wanted me to know. I'm not surprised. I mean, he cheated with me, so... I guess I expected he would cheat on me.

Neil: No, he didn't. He didn't cheat on you.

Hilary: But you just --

Neil: Devon wasn't unfaithful. No, I-I set the whole thing up. I did. I made sure it all happened. I made it look like that, because you know what? I-I wanted to hurt you for what you did to me.

Hilary: Oh, my God. How far were you willing to go? Huh, Neil? Did you -- did you push me off the cliff?

Neil: I did not --

Hilary: Did you try to kill me?!

Neil: I didn't. I-I saved you. I saved your life!

Nick: We just keep drifting further and further apart.

Chelsea: Well, you know, maybe once you're home, things will get better.

Nick: She's determined to shut me out.

Chelsea: Well, it seems like Sage is making an effort. I mean, she came to the memorial service. It's one step at a time, Nick. That's the only way to get through something like this.

Nick: I think I really screwed up. I thought that Sage needed me to be really strong through this. You know, so I tried. But I think I made it worse and Sage thinks I don't care.

Chelsea: No, she -- she doesn't think that.

Nick: [Voice breaking] She accused me of wanting my son to be dead so...so I didn't have to stay in this marriage that I didn't want to be in, in the first place.

Chelsea: People say things when they're upset, things they don't mean.

Nick: If she needs to lash out, that's fine, but she is closing herself off from everyone, especially me.

Sage: [Sighs]

Adam: Are we done with, you know, make-believe time?

Victor: This is not make-believe. Christian was your son.

Adam: Okay, well, do you have any proof to back that up? No, no, no. Forgot who I was talking to. You're Victor Newman. You don't deal with silly, little things like proof.

Victor: I don't need any proof other than having seen your face at Christian's memorial.

Adam: My face?

Victor: That's right.

Adam: You know, contrary to popular opinion, I actually do have a heart beating in my chest. I felt bad for Sage and Nick, okay? That's what you saw.

Victor: It was more than just feeling sympathy for the people who lost that child. It seemed all very personal to you.

Adam: [Sighs] Okay, so, you know, what's it gonna be? You gonna tell Chelsea what you think you know?

Victor: No. I'm not gonna hurt Chelsea any more than she has already been hurt. Nor am I gonna hurt Nicholas. He has suffered enough, trust me.

Adam: But me, on the other hand, I haven't? Haven't suffered enough? Come on. Look, we've been here before, right? What do you want me to do? What do you want from me?

Dylan: Hi.

Emma: Hi. Can I help you?

Dylan: I hope so. I'm Dylan McAvoy. You're Emma Randall, aren't you?

Emma: Yes.

Dylan: Well, it's, uh, nice to meet you. Emma, I'm trying to figure out, uh, who's responsible for what happened to Hilary Hamilton. And I understand you're the person who found her.

Emma: Yeah, I-I already told the police everything I know.

Dylan: Right. No, I know. I read your statement. I would really appreciate any -- just any time that you could give me.

Emma: Are you a cop?

Dylan: No, Hilary's husband, Devon, asked me to look into her kidnapping, and can I just ask you a few questions?

Emma: I really should get back to work.

Dylan: Devon's desperate to find out what happened to his wife. Any little detail you could give me might help.

Hilary: You expect me to believe that you tried to save me?

Neil: Yeah, I do.

Hilary: Okay, I think I should talk to Paul.

Neil: Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Hilary: Don't touch me!

Neil: Let me explain, okay? I-I-I'd never hurt you.

Hilary: You were there when I fell off a cliff!

Neil: I was there, yes, but I was there to show you a video, which I did. We argued. And then you -- you ran off down the hiking trail. Little while later, I heard a scream. I ran after you. I looked over the edge, and what did I see? I saw you laying down there on the rocks. So I went down there. You were unconscious. I picked you up, and I took you to a doctor, who stabilized you. And then I flew you home to Genoa City.

Hilary: And you didn't tell anyone -- not Devon, not the police.

Neil: What do you expect me to do? I couldn't let anyone know that I was in virgin Gorda. They would automatically assume that -- that it was me who hurt you. But I didn't! I swear I didn't! I thought when you woke up that you would tell everyone what really happened there.

Hilary: So you decided to keep me hidden until then?

Neil: I did. In the boathouse, in the property that I bought for you.

Hilary: My dream house?!

Neil: Yes.

Hilary: What is --

Neil: Because it was out of the way. It was quiet. I knew that no one would find you there. And you know what I did? I sat there day after day after day. I prayed for you. I begged you to wake up.

Hilary: To save yourself, not because you gave a damn about me!

Neil: No! No! That's not true!

Hilary: Oh, you said that you came to the virgin islands to punish me!

Neil: No, I did, but I didn't push you off that cliff.

Hilary: [Scoffs]

Neil: Do you understand that I wanted to destroy your marriage? I had so much hatred in my heart for you. But then when I saw you lying unconscious in that boathouse, I started having a change of heart. Yeah, I prayed for you every day. Not for me, but for you, for Devon. I didn't --

Hilary: Okay, you just -- you need to stop it, okay? Stop it. I can't hear any more of this.

Neil: No, I -- you need to know the truth. You need to remember what happened.

Hilary: You need to go!

Neil: Don't!

Hilary: You need to go now!

Neil: Yeah, okay, I'll go.

Nick: With Sage, I think it's more than just grief.

Chelsea: What do you mean?

Nick: She never had a family to lean on. Now she has one, but she doesn't know how to do it.

Chelsea: Listen, I know what it's like to grow up feeling like you can't count on anybody. I mean, I had my mother, but she certainly wasn't reliable. So I had to learn to rely on myself. So I built up this arsenal of defense mechanisms to keep me from getting hurt. Problem was, you know, it creates walls, and you just end up shutting everybody out, and that's what I did. Until I met Adam. And then I let my guard down, and I was actually vulnerable for the first time ever, and that's a really scary thing.

Nick: But you did it.

Chelsea: When you find the right person, you don't have a choice. And I truly, truly think that Sage is the right person for you.

Nick: But if she doesn't believe that --

Chelsea: She does. She just needs time.

Nick: I hope you're right.

Chelsea: Take her home, Nick, and then you can -- you can start healing together. I'm really sorry.

Nick: Thank you. Thank you. [Sighs]

Sage: Faith.

Faith: Oh. Sage.

Sage: I-I thought you were staying with your grandma and grandpa tonight.

Faith: I am. Amy picked me up at Hayden's. She's waiting outside for me. I forgot miss patsy.

Sage: Oh.

Faith: But you're here now, so I can stay.

Sage: Faith...

Faith: Where's daddy? Is he upstairs with Christian? I can't wait to meet my new baby brother.

Adam: Well, please, you know, don't keep us in suspense here. What unpleasant task do you have me performing in order for you to keep my secret?

Victor: I want you to help me rebuild Newman Enterprises.

Adam: What? You want me to help you rebuild your empire?

Victor: Because you're my son.

Adam: Your son that you could do without, right? Probably more so now than ever after deceiving Nick the way I did.

Victor: What you did to Nicholas was unconscionable, and what you did to your own son was unconscionable.

Adam: And yet you still want to work with me.

Victor: Mm-hmm.

Adam: Why? Why would you want to do that? I'm sure your three other children are champing at the bit to help you rebuild Newman Enterprises to its former glory.

Victor: But with them, I won't do it the way I want to do it.

Adam: Well, I mean, they're naive and they're a little soft, but, you know, they're used to your slash-and-burn tactics by now, wouldn't you say?

Victor: Don't ever underestimate them. They're not soft. But they have certain loyalties.

Adam: Oh, I see. See, now I see where your head's at. You're planning on screwing over the Abbotts on your way back to the top.

Victor: [Chuckles] You're getting the drift.

Adam: Mm-hmm. Well, you can count me out. You can do that on your own. I'm not gonna do that to Jack.

Victor: Do you honestly think you have a choice?

Sage: Thanks, Amy.

Faith: So, can I see Christian now?

Sage: Uh... Christian's not here, honey.

Faith: Oh. Then can I go to the hospital

Sage: No, I'm afraid you can't.

Faith: But my cold's gone. And I promise I'll wash my hands really, really, really well so I don't get any germs on him.

Sage: I know you'd never do anything to hurt your baby brother.

Faith: Then why can't I see him?

Sage: You know that Christian was born very early. Remember?

Faith: Yeah. He was a preemie like Noah.

Sage: Yes. And he had a lot of trouble breathing on his own.

Faith: Daddy already told me about all the wires and tubes. I promise I won't freak out when I see Christian.

Sage: Honey, things have changed since you last talked to your dad.

Faith: I want to see my baby brother, tell him I love him, I'm gonna look out for him, because that's what big sisters are supposed to do.

Sage: Come here. Come here, baby. I know you'd be the best big sister you could ever be to Christian. [Sighs] I have something that I have to tell you, okay?

Faith: About Christian?

Sage: Yes.

Faith: What is it?

Sage: Um...

Nick: You're home.

Sage: Yeah.

Faith: Daddy, Sage was just gonna tell me something about Christian.

Emma: I went to her room, and there she was, unconscious. Her arm was bleeding. It looked like an I.V. Had been ripped out. That's when I got Dr. Rayburn.

Dylan: And that's when he told you to call the police.

Emma: Yeah.

Dylan: Did you notice anybody outside her room before or maybe after you found Hilary?

Emma: No. I mean, nobody unusual.

Dylan: Hmm. You know, Hilary's tox screens show that she had a lot of drugs in her system.

Emma: They think she OD'd?

Dylan: No, she had a very specific and unusual cocktail of prescription medication. Dr. Shelby just thinks it's some kind of radical treatment to wake her up from a coma. Do you know a doctor who might be involved with something like that?

Gwen: You told her everything?

Neil: No, I didn't tell her everything. I didn't tell her about you or Dr. Neville.

Gwen: Why would you tell her anything?

Neil: Why? Because she started remembering things. I figured if I told her part of the truth, she'd stop digging for the rest.

Gwen: Well, how did she react? I mean, you're here, so that says something.

Neil: Well, of cour-- she didn't call the police, did she?

Gwen: Well, that doesn't mean she still won't.

Neil: She was very angry, okay? I tried to explain why I kept her hidden, that I didn't tell anybody what happened, but, you know, she wouldn't hear it.

Gwen: She could be talking to the police right now. Neil, it's not gonna take them a long time to figure out I was involved.

Neil: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. We better hope that what I said triggers her memory and that she remembers everything that happened on Virgin Gorda and realizes that I never tried to hurt her.

Gwen: It's not gonna happen.

Neil: How do you know? Why are you saying that?

Gwen: She's not gonna remember anything unless she takes these.

Devon: Hilary. Hey, what's going on?

Hilary: Get out of my way, Devon.

Devon: Wait, wait, wait, wait. Why are you so upset?

Hilary: Get away from me!

Devon: Hilary! Not until you tell me what's going on.

Hilary: [Sighs]

Emma: I-I don't want to get anybody in trouble.

Dylan: Look, I just -- I just want to talk to whoever treated Hilary, okay? Maybe they were trying to help. Maybe -- maybe things just got out of hand. Please, Emma, I need to find this person.

Emma: [Sighs] There was a doctor who worked here. He was off-the-charts brilliant, super passionate about his work, and he got into it a few times with his superiors about some out-there treatments he wanted to use on his patients.

Dylan: Coma patients?

Emma: Last month, he asked me if I would be interested in helping him with some experimental work that he was doing.

Dylan: Did you?

Emma: No. He got fired before he could get started on it.

Dylan: Just tell me his name.

Emma: [Sighs] Dr. Neville. Simon Neville.

Neil: I can't believe this. All this time, Hilary's life has been hanging in the balance, and that son of a bitch didn't say a word!

Gwen: We have to get Hilary to take these pills. He said if she doesn't, she'll never have anything more than a few disjointed memories.

Neil: Okay, you know what? I'm gonna go hurt that guy.

Gwen: Neil, we need to focus. If she doesn't get her memory back, you'll never be cleared.

Neil: I don't give a damn about that!

Gwen: Well, you should.

Neil: All I care about is Hilary, okay? Give me the pills. Give them to me! Hilary could die. And I'm gonna go find her.

Devon: Hilary, talk to me. Please.

Hilary: I can't, okay? I have to -- I have to go.

Devon: Listen, whatever has got you so upset, we can figure this out together.

Hilary: I can't trust you, okay?! I can't trust anyone!

Devon: I know you don't remember, but I love you. I would do anything for you, but you have to tell me what's going on right now.

Hilary: No.

Devon: Please, Hilary, let me help you.

Hilary: You can't. Now get away from me!

Adam: So that's how this whole thing is gonna go down, huh? Just, you know, straight-up blackmail.

Victor: A simple quid pro quo.

Adam: I scratch your back, you don't ruin my life.

Victor: You got it.

Adam: You gonna ask me to sign in blood?

Victor: Do as I ask and I will make certain that the judge rules in your favor. All I want is your unwavering loyalty.

Adam: That's all?

Victor: That's all. We got a deal?

Chelsea: Am I interrupting?

Nick: You know, if I could put you in a magic bubble and keep all the bad stuff away from you forever, I would.

Faith: You mean like spiders and thunder?

Nick: Yeah. And other things.

Faith: Like what?

Nick: Well, you're not gonna... you're not gonna get to see Christian.

Faith: Oh, no. Did he get worse?

Nick: He got a lot worse, and, uh... you know, he fought so hard. But he didn't make it.

Faith: [Voice breaking] Daddy.

Nick: Christian went up to see Cassie and Delia in heaven.

Faith: No. No. He can't be dead. He was just born.

Nick: I know. I know. It's not fair.

Faith: You said he was gonna be okay. He was gonna come home and we'd be a family.

Nick: Sage and I, we wanted that so bad.

Faith: Then say we're gonna go to the hospital and get my baby brother and bring him home.

Nick: I can't. I can't say that.

Faith: Say it.

Nick: I can't. I wish more than anything I could, but I just can't.

Faith: I don't want it to be true.

Nick: I know. I know. Neither do I. Neither do I. But just because Christian's gone, it doesn't mean that we'll ever forget him. Because we won't. We're gonna keep him in our hearts forever, okay?

Faith: [Sobs]

Faith: I'm sorry, Sage.

Sage: Thank you, sweetie. I love you.

Faith: [Sniffles]

Nick: Hey. Do you want to talk about your brother some more or, uh... you know, I can -- I can tuck you in.

Faith: I was gonna draw a picture for Christian when he came home from the hospital. Would it be okay if I still drew it for him?

Sage: Yeah.

Nick: That'd be nice.

Faith: My markers and paper are upstairs.

Sage: [Sighs]

Faith: Do you think he'd like ponies?

Nick: Yeah, I bet he'd like them a lot.

Sage: Thank you for doing that. I know it was very hard for you. I know this whole thing's been very hard for you. For me, too. I just... I couldn't tell her. [Inhales deeply]

Victor: Chelsea, come in. You're not interrupting at all.

Chelsea: Sorry I took so long. I, uh, I bumped into Nick.

Adam: How's he doing?

Chelsea: Not well, you know. What you would imagine for someone who just lost a child. I-I tried to comfort him, but I don't think I helped much.

Adam: You never get over losing a child.

Victor: Is Nicholas still around?

Chelsea: He said he was gonna try to bring Sage home, so they're probably home by now.

Victor: I'd better get going. Um, you think about what I said, okay?

[Door closes]

Chelsea: What was that about?

Adam: About my appeal.

Chelsea: Does Victor think he'll be able to get your sentence reduced?

Adam: There's not a doubt in my mind.

Neil: You looking for Hilary?

Dylan: Yeah. Yeah, do you know -- do you know where she is?

Neil: We were hoping she was here ourselves.

Dylan: No, she's not here. I knocked. There's no answer.

Neil: So, what's up? You got a new lead or anything?

Dylan: I think I might have a lead. But I need to speak to Hilary.

Gwen: What'd you find out?

Dylan: It's pretty crazy. There was a doctor who was recently fired from memorial for working on experimental drug therapies for coma patients.

Gwen: That's pretty out there.

Dylan: Right?

Gwen: Are you sure your source is credible?

Dylan: Well, you tell me. It was your sister.

Gwen: Emma?

Dylan: Emma. Yeah. She knew the guy. I got to try and find Hilary, so if you guys see her, can you just have her call me? I got to see if the name Dr. Neville means anything to her.

Neil: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, man, we -- we will call you.

Dylan: I appreciate that.

Neil: Ha. Okay. Hey, we -- we need to find Hilary before Dylan does.

Neil: If I could turn the clock back, you know I would. I hope when I'm gone and you recover that you and Devon, you can have a beautiful future together. I'm gonna wish you and my son a life of happiness together.

Hilary: Devon. What are you -- what are you doing here?

Devon: I think the real question is, what are you doing here?

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Nikki: Oh, Jack.

Jack: What is it, Nik? What's he up to this time?

Michael: I've got bad news. And you damn well better take it more seriously than your father.

Christine: Just so thrilled you're on the Newman appeal. I couldn't ask for a more qualified judge to hear the case.
