Episode # 10770 ~ Nikki shares shocking news with Jill; Dylan confronts Colin; someone sets a trap for Neil.

Provided By Suzanne

Nick: It's messing with the supply chain now.

Victor: Look at this. All incoming shipments have been stopped. And our plant in Cleveland has come to a standstill.

Nick: How are they gonna get their raw materials?

Victor: The vendors will have to reinstate their orders manually. Can you imagine the cost to the plant of this size when it goes off-line?

Nick: It's insane. Every company we do business with is worried this virus may have migrated. Each time we stop a crisis, dad, a new one pops up. At this rate, we're gonna lose everything.

Victor: [Sighs deeply]

[Cell phone chimes]

Victor: Oh. Ah. I think I may have just found a way out.

Victoria: Billy. Promise me you won't go after Adam again. You have way too much to lose.

Billy: Yeah. So you've reminded me.

Victoria: Now, I'm gonna keep reminding you of that until you listen to me. You're not listening to me. You have children -- Johnny and Katherine. Do you remember them? Getting yourself thrown in prison is not worth some momentary satisfaction. And Delia would not want this.

Billy: Yeah, well, Delia's not here, is she? And she can't fight for herself, so I'm gonna fight for her.

Victoria: Not like this.

Billy: Do you think that Adam's just gonna turn himself in? No. No, he's -- he's gonna go strike a deal with Victor. He's gonna shut down the paragon thing in exchange for some help from your old man.

Victoria: Billy.

Billy: Honestly, Vick, do you believe that Adam Newman is gonna get the punishment that he deserves?

Sage: It was just a game to you, wasn't it? Sneaking back into their lives, hiding out in plain sight. I warned you. I said that it would be a disaster. Divorcing you couldn't save me. It was already too late. What do you think I did? I sat there in that house. I sat there, and I nursed you back to health. And I took care of Constance. And I grieved the Gabriel that I would never have in my life. And then I had an opportunity at a real life, a real family, and what do you do?!

Adam: All right.

Sage: What do you do? Look at me.

Adam: Calm down.

Sage: You take it away from me, because every single thing that you do --

Adam: Calm down.

Sage: Oh!

Adam: What's the matter?

Sage: Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, no. It's too soon.

Adam: No, no. Hold on.

Sage: Oh, the baby.

Adam: You're gonna be all right. Sage, you're gonna be all right.

Sage: Ow, aah.

Adam: Hey, hey, look. It's probably just false labor. No, no. It's false labor, all right? This is what happens. Breathe through it. Breathe through it.

Sage: My water broke.

Adam: Okay. All right. Okay. Your water broke. Uh, we're gonna -- we're gonna make a phone call here. We're gonna call for help, okay? Everything is gonna be fine.

Sage: [Exclaims, moaning] [Breathing shakily] What's wrong?

Adam: Paragon. The virus. I can't make a call. My phone doesn't work.

Sage: Aah! No! No, no, no, no!

Adam: Okay. We're gonna work this out, okay? Okay?

Jill: Hong Kong is a magnificent city. But it doesn't have you in it, my love. [Chuckles]

Colin: Well, now that the office is up and running...

Jill: Mm-hmm.

Colin: ...I mean, you won't need to be making that trip again, right?

Jill: Not for a very long time, baby. Anyway, food. Food. What a ridiculous time to be eating, huh?

Colin: They don't feed you on planes anymore?

Jill: Yeah, but my stomach clock thinks it's breakfast time. [Chuckles] And since Esther isn't at the house anymore, there's not a crumb of food there.

Colin: Sorry about that. I mean, I have been eating out quite a bit lately.

Jill: Ah, you've been living the high bachelor life again, huh?

Colin: A bologna sandwich dripping in mayonnaise over the sink is not my style, babe.

Jill: [Laughs]

Nikki: Jill.

Jill: Hello, Nikki.

Nikki: I was wondering -- have you seen Billy?

Jill: Well, no. I just got back from Hong Kong. This is my first stop.

Nikki: Oh, well, you might want to run into him as soon as you can. He's gonna need as much support as he can get.

Jill: Why? What's happened?

Nikki: Well, [Sighs] There's no easy way to tell you this. Adam is alive, and he's been living here in town for nearly a year.

Neil: Were you able to get some sleep?

Gwen: Yeah.

Neil: You know, Gwen, I thought I saw a little change earlier.

Gwen: Really?

Neil: Probably just wishful thinking, that's all.

Gwen: Don't lose hope. She will wake up, and she'll tell everyone you're not responsible. And then we can all move on with our lives.

Neil: In the meantime, we're gonna need more supplies.

Marc: Sorry to interrupt, Mr. Hamilton, but this envelope was left for you at the front desk.

Devon: Thanks, marc.

Lily: What is it?

Devon: It's a ransom note.

Cane: "I have Hilary. Don't go to the police. Will be in touch."

Lily: You must have seen whoever dropped this off.

Marc: I was busy with a guest.

Cane: You didn't see anything out of the corner of your eye? You saw nothing?

Devon: What the hell do I pay you for?

Lily: Devon, stop.

Devon: No. It's your job to know what happens in the lobby. If someone had dropped a bomb off instead of an envelope, would you have noticed then?

Marc: I'm sorry. I was handling the needs of a V.I.P. Guest.

Lily: No, Marc. It's not your fault, but we need to know who left this. It's extremely important.

Cane: If you remember anything, just call one of us, all right?

Marc: Yes, sir.

Cane: Okay. I'm gonna have somebody pull the surveillance footage, all right?

Devon: Hilary's kidnapper was in this building, and no one saw him.

Neil: I thought about taking her to memorial hospital, you know, but I can't risk causing her any more harm, Gwen.

Gwen: Then it's like you said. We need more supplies.

Neil: That's risky. That's straight-up dangerous. I mean, honestly, every day, I am fighting this urge to turn myself in. [Sighs]

Gwen: Neil, you've come this far. You can't give up now. Please, baby, I can't lose you.

Neil: You know, Gwen, I-I am so sorry for dragging you into this.

Gwen: No regrets. Okay, we're gonna get through this together. I'll pick up some more of Hilary's meds at the hospital supply room.

Neil: Wait, you're gonna get caught doing that, don't you think?

Gwen: I know Emma keeps her badge in her locker room. And we meet up for coffee all the time there, so even if some of the staff see me, no one will think anything of it. It's just I.V. Nutrition, Neil. It's not heavy-duty narcotics that they watch like hawks.

Neil: Yeah, but Gwen, this is really risky.

Gwen: For me, it's worth it.

Paul: So, we put electronic trackers on the I.V. Nutrition boxes. They're about the size of a quarter. So, if one leaves the hospital, the transmitter will send out a signal.

Stitch: What's the range?

Paul: About 50-mile radius.

Stitch: Well, whoever's holding Hilary, it'll lead you right to their door.

Paul: Right.

Dylan: Only if our theory is correct and Hilary is in the area.

Paul: Well, there are a lot of "what ifs," but if she is in the area, this could be the fastest way to find her. So, I'm gonna swing by the department and make sure that my computer is locked on to the tracker.

[Cell phone rings]

Dylan: Sorry. Excuse me. Hello? Yeah, uh, yeah. Okay. I'll see you then. Uh, you go ahead. I'll meet you at the station. Devon wants me to swing by the athletic club first.

Victor: Thank you.

[Door closes]

Victor: You know who I am?

The dude in the painting.

Victor: That's right. I'm the dude you've been stealing from. Now, I know that you introduced the paragon virus into my computer system. And I want you to tell me how to stop it.

Oh, that's what this is about. I thought it was another thing. Never mind. Uh, the deal with paragon is that it can't be stopped.

Victor: Wrong answer.

Nick: I know my brother's behind this and he's been helping you.

Brother? What brother? I don't know who you are, bro, so I 100% don't know your brother.

Victor: Don't be a smartass with me, all right? You're gonna cooperate and answer my questions starting right now.

[Sighs]

Sage: [Moans] The baby's coming.

Adam: Okay.

Sage: [Screams]

Adam: Sage. Hey. Sage. Put your arms around me. Come on. Put your arms around me. We're gonna get you to my car. Come on.

Sage: Okay. Okay.

Adam: We're gonna get you to the hospital. Come on. On three. Ready? One, two, three, come on.

Sage: Okay.

Adam: Here we go. Here we go.

Sage: [Exclaims] Okay. No, no, no. Not gonna make it to the hospital.

Adam: Okay, okay. Stay calm. Just try to stay calm. Listen. I know that you're panicking right now, but your contractions just started. That means we got plenty of time, okay?

Sage: It's happening right now!

Adam: Don't panic. Just try to stay calm, all right?

Sage: [Crying] I'm scared. I'm scared.

Adam: Hey, I know you're scared. Listen to me. Listen to me. I've done this before, okay? I delivered Johnny. I've done this before.

Sage: Please, please don't leave me. Please don't leave me.

Adam: Sage, I'm not going anywhere.

Sage: Please don't let my baby die.

Adam: Look at me. Your baby's not gonna die. I'm not going anywhere, okay?

Sage: [Screaming]

Adam: It's you and me. We got this. Okay.

Adam: Sage, hey. Remember your breathing? Remember your breathing? You remember, right?

Sage: I can't.

Adam: You can. You can try.

Sage: I can't.

Adam: You can. You can. Now try. Breathe.

Sage: No. I don't want to.

Adam: Come on. There you go.

Sage: I feel like I need to push. When do I push? When -- [Screams]

Adam: Okay, the baby's crowning now. Now is when you push. Look at me, Sage. Now is when you push. Push.

Sage: Adam, no. No, no, no.

Adam: Come on. Yes.

Sage: No.

Adam: Sage, you can. You can. Here we go. Push. There we go. All right. Push. Push.

Sage: [Screams]

Adam: Okay. Okay. Oh, my gosh. You did it. Sage, you did it. It's a boy. You got a baby boy. You did it.

Sage: It's a boy. He isn't crying. Why isn't he crying? What's wrong? Adam?

Adam: Listen, uh, we need some help, okay? Would you call -- call, uh -- call for an ambulance. Go. Go! Please, help!

Dylan: If this ransom note is legitimate --

Devon: What do you mean "if?" Of course it is. We expected this. We've been waiting for this.

Lily: And now we can decide the best way to respond to it.

Dylan: Right. The police are prepared, and if Hilary is in town and needs medical support, we're in a great position to capitalize on it.

Cane: Because of those trackers you mentioned.

Dylan: Yeah, yeah, exactly. Theoretically, if anybody leaves the hospital with any kind of long-term-care supplies, it's gonna lead us right to the kidnapper. But my guess is whoever's behind this isn't working alone.

Devon: This is all just speculation.

Dylan: Yeah, it's pretty obvious that whoever has Hilary knows a lot about you guys, especially you, Devon.

Cane: Yeah, but so does anybody that watches television or surfs the web.

Dylan: Yeah, right, but not -- not in the beginning, not in the virgin islands, because the kidnapper was in the right place at the right time, took Hilary to begin their plot --

Cane: Plot? Did I hear the word "plot?" You guys aren't gonna start a conspiracy without me, now, are you?

Jill: Oh, Paul.

Paul: Jill, what is it?

Jill: We need your help finding Billy.

Paul: What, is -- is Billy missing?

Jill: Yes, he is, and when you find out why --

Nikki: Listen, Paul. Adam is alive, and Billy has gone after him.

Paul: Adam Newman?! That's impossible.

Nikki: It seems impossible, I know, but it's true. He survived the accident, and ever since then, he has been posing as Gabriel Bingham. Chelsea just outed him to Billy.

Paul: Okay, sl-slow down. When did this happen?

Nikki: Tonight. Believe me. All hell is breaking loose.

Jill: Look, I want Adam to pay for what he did to Delia as much as anybody else, but not at Billy's expense, and he can't be rational about this. You know that.

Paul: O-okay, Jill. I need you to calm down. We need to think about how we're gonna --

Jill: Well, we better think fast. Anything could happen at any time.

Paul: I understand --

Jill: Oh, Billy! Oh, Billy, honey. Thank God. Please, please tell me that you didn't do anything to Adam.

Billy: No, no. Victoria convinced me it'd be the wrong way to go.

Jill: [Sighs]

Paul: Well, that's good to hear.

Jill: That is good to hear. Thank you so much, darling.

Billy: I'm putting my faith in the legal system to make sure that my daughter gets justice. Don't let her down, Paul. Not again.

Stitch: Call pediatrics to care for a premature newborn. Alert the NICU.

Sage: How is my baby?

Emma: He's beautiful. He's on his way to the nursery.

Adam: The guys in the ambulance said she lost a lot of blood.

Emma: Yeah. 600 cc.

Stitch: Placental abruption. Probably hemorrhaging internally. I want a CBC and a fibrinogen level. 10 I.U. Oxytocin. Type and cross match for two units of blood.

Emma: Yes, doctor.

Stitch: Take her to O.R. 1. We need to get her into surgery stat. Let's go.

Nick: Ian Ward's back in prison. Pretty soon, my brother's gonna be joining him. That's right -- max security, living in a six-by-eight cell. You want to join him?

I really don't think so. No.

Nick: Then you need to stop paragon...

[Cell phone rings]

Nick: ...And this threat to our company right now. Nick Newman. What? When? Okay. I'm on my way.

Victor: What's the problem?

Nick: Sage and the baby. They're at the hospital.

Victor: Yeah, I'll take care of things here.

Nick: Okay. Thanks.

Victor: Not now. So, right now, it's just you and the dude in the picture. Just the two of us. Unlike my son, who believes that people like you can be reasoned with, I'm under no such illusion. I usually get what I want.

I can't give you what you want.

Victor: Oh, really? That's the wrong answer.

The virus can't be stopped. It was designed that way. It's how Gabe wanted it to work. When I met with him, his orders to me were very explicit.

Victor: In other words, he set in motion a process that can't be stopped. Is that it?

Yes.

Victor: Did he tell you that he set out to ruin my company?

Colin: Check out the faces. Come on, guys. It was a joke.

Devon: You think this is funny?

Cane: Dad, stay out of it. It doesn't concern you, okay?

Colin: Oh, what have I stepped into here?

Dylan: Uh, you can drop the innocent act, Colin. We all know your involvement in the video and setting up the hooker and...

Colin: And that's the plot you're referring to?

Devon: Someone has Hilary, and they're holding her for ransom.

Colin: Oh. You think it's me.

Lily: Well, you have been hovering around here for the past half-hour, thinking no one noticed you.

Dylan: Yeah, usually somebody with nothing to hide would come down and join their son and their daughter-in-law instead of lurking and eavesdropping.

Cane: Well, I, uh -- I was waiting for a call. But I'm here now. And I'm concerned. I mean, Devon is, after all, family.

Devon: Do you blackmail all of your family or just the ones that you care about?

Dylan: Or just the billionaires?

Colin: Let's not overreact.

Dylan: You don't seem too concerned.

Colin: Look, I said before it was a joke. I mean, one in poor taste, but a joke.

Cane: Dad, I swear to God, if I find out you're involved in this or you know anything about what's going on in any --

Neil: Know anything about what? What -- what are you talking about? What's going on?

Colin: Neil, they seem to think that I'm involved in Hilary's disappearance. Why don't you tell them just how ludicrous that is?

Gwen: Hey.

Emma: Sis, what are you doing here?

Gwen: I was looking for you. I, um -- I knew you got off soon, so I-I was -- do you want to grab a bite to eat?

Emma: Oh, I wish I could, but things are crazy here.

Gwen: What's happening?

Emma: I'll fill you in later. Right now, I have to prep for surgery.

Gwen: Okay. [Sighs]

Paul: He's going by the name of Gabriel Bingham, but it's really Adam Newman.

Brewer: The guy who killed the little girl? I thought he was...

Paul: Yeah. Dead? We all did. He's wanted for questioning. Get the word out along with that photograph.

Victor: Paul. [Sighs] It is Adam who is behind the cyber attacks on Newman enterprises. I would like you to make his arrest a priority.

Billy: Get in line.

Victor: It's an ongoing sabotage.

Billy: We're talking about Delia. So you lost a few bucks. Nobody gives a damn.

Victor: Listen, Billy boy, we were all terribly affected by Delia's death. You got it? My company employs thousands of people who are in the process of losing their livelihood. That means they can't feed their children. You wouldn't know what that is about, would you? You were born with a silver spoon in your mouth. The arrest of my son is a priority.

Nick: Stitch.

Stitch: Nick, hey. I'm glad you're here. Your wife's being prepped for surgery.

Nick: How is she? Where's -- where's the baby?

Stitch: The baby's in the NICU. So far, so good. Sage -- she lost a lot of blood, so we're dealing with that.

Nick: How could this happen? After you treated her for the infection, you said everything was gonna be okay.

Stitch: The Giardia didn't cause early labor.

Nick: So, what, then?

Stitch: It's called an abruption. The placenta pulls away from the wall of the uterus. It's typically caused by trauma of some kind.

Nick: Could stress be a factor?

Stitch: Not usually, but it never helps. Thankfully, she wasn't by herself when she delivered the baby in the park.

Nick: This happened outside?

Stitch: At chancellor park. Plenty of people were around. Someone was able to call an ambulance. The baby wasn't breathing at first.

Nick: Oh, God.

Stitch: Luckily, the person who helped deliver your child had a course in infant CPR. If not for that, we could be having a much different conversation.

Nick: Who was it? Who delivered the baby?

Adam: I did.

Billy: Let's get real, Victor. You don't give a damn about your employees, and you're willing to give Adam a pass for running down a child because it was my kid.

Victor: I am doing no such thing, all right?

Jill: Just ignore this man, honey.

Victor: I'm the one who brought you back into Delia's life when she was ill.

Billy: And who was it that had me locked up in Myanmar to begin with? It was you. And when you brought me back, you still believed that she'd be better off without me.

Victor: You bet she would have been better off without you. You're just proving the point.

Nikki: Victor, please.

Victor: Listen to me. We were all terribly affected by Delia's death. You're not interested in honoring her memory. You just want revenge.

Victoria: You're here for the exact same reason we are. We want Adam thrown in jail.

Victor: You bet I want Adam thrown in jail, all right? He needs to be stopped right now.

Paul: Okay, this is all counterproductive. No one is going to escape the law. And I need a warrant before I can make an arrest.

Victor: Let me call the judge to make that happen.

Billy: There you go, throwing your weight around.

Victoria: Dad, please don't do that. You're just gonna compromise the case.

Nikki: Look, can we all just take a deep breath, please?

Jill: Paul, why do we need a warrant? Adam has confessed.

Paul: Jill, there is a protocol to how we do things here.

Nikki: I don't even know why we're arguing. We all want the same thing.

Victoria: Mom is right. This is accomplishing nothing.

Victor: We need to establish priorities, all right?

Jill: Yeah, we need to establish your priorities. Isn't that what you meant to say?

Victor: You bet, Jill. You bet that's what I meant to say, all right? Adam needs to be stopped from going after my company now because it affects too many lives.

Nick: You? You were with Sage? What did you do, threaten her? Attack her for letting your secret come out? She gave you a new identity. She protected you for over a year, and this is how you repay her? By sending her into premature labor?

Adam: Oh, that's a neat little sequence of events, Nick. Very convenient -- blame the evil brother. You know, you keep telling the whole world that little story. You and I both know what happened. You found out the secret she was keeping from you, right? You got pissed off. You laid into her without any thought about the baby she was carrying or any damage you might do. This is on you, brother. Not me. You.

Neil: I guess I shouldn't be surprised that this is what it comes down to for some people.

Colin: How can you say that, Neil?

Neil: Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you have a history with situations like this?

Colin: You're insinuating I'm the kidnapper?

Neil: Is that what I was doing?

Colin: Hey, I have --

Neil: Is that your guilty conscience talking?

Colin: But I had no reason whatsoever to want to see Devon go through this.

Neil: Yeah, but I did. At first. But now I regret it.

Devon: It's water under the bridge.

Lily: Well, now there's a ransom, so it's been about the money all along.

Dylan: That's the working theory, but go with me on this. Maybe the kidnappers didn't intend for Hilary to take that fall on her honeymoon. But she did. And there was an opportunity, because they know who she is, they know who she's connected to, so they ran down on the beach and they picked up their winning lottery ticket. They brought Hilary back to Genoa city to keep their bargaining chip alive.

Devon: What they don't know is that the cops have a plan --

Colin: Look, we keep getting back to this plan. Now, what is it? A dim, dark secret?

Dylan: It's on a need-to-know basis.

Colin: I think I need to know.

Cane: All right. Let's just hang on for a second. Let's be, uh, you know, devil's advocates. What if the ransom note is a fake, and it's some crackpot who's trying to mess with Devon so he can cash in?

Colin: Now I'm a crackpot. How the hell did I get into this?

Devon: You're always looking for a way to my bank account, Colin.

Colin: Or the ransom note is simply a smokescreen to cover what's really going on.

Dylan: Or we can just keep guessing. Just let's go to the cops.

Lily: Yeah. Good idea.

Devon: No. Not gonna go to the cops. You read the note. That's why I called you, Dylan.

Dylan: Okay, Devon. I got to keep Paul in the loop. I should.

Devon: Dylan, we're not gonna go to the cops. I'm gonna risk it.

Neil: You heard the man. You know, Devon doesn't want his wife in any more danger than she already is. I can't say that I blame him, honestly. Excuse me.

Colin: I want to talk to you.

Lily: So, what do we do now?

Neil: Hey.

Gwen: Hey. I got everything -- Hilary's food, I.V. Supplies.

Neil: Did anyone see you?

Gwen: I ran into Emma. She scared me half to death, but I didn't let her see the I.D. Badge.

Neil: Huh. Don't you have something to say to me?

Gwen: No, I was very careful. You don't have to worry. Everything's fine. Neil, why are you looking at me like that?

Neil: Ransom note. You know anything about that? Did you send that ransom note? That's why you agreed to help me. You wanted to get some quick cash, right? Get rich quick. Is that it?

Gwen: Ransom note?

Neil: Yes. Ransom.

Gwen: I don't know anything about a ransom note. I can't believe you would even think -- after all that I've done for you?

Neil: You were ready to turn me in, and then, all of a sudden, you jump ship to my side.

Gwen: You know why. And now I'm an accessory to crime. I just stole medical supplies from a hospital for you.

Neil: Yeah. For me. "It's worth it." That's what you said before you tore out of here. "It's worth it."

Gwen: Because I love you.

Neil: [Laughs] Oh, Gwen, yeah, that's what you claim.

Gwen: You sound like a crazy person right now. I can't even believe that you would accuse me of this.

Neil: Well, it wouldn't be the first time that you deceived someone, would it?

Gwen: Excuse me?

Neil: Yeah, you jump real quick into that phony relationship with Devon. You had us all fooled in the family, didn't you?

Gwen: I can't believe you would throw this in my face. Did you not mean anything that you said to me? Did getting cheated on screw you up that much?

[Cell phone ringing]

Gwen: It's Emma.

Neil: Pick it up.

[Ringing continues]

Neil: Gwen, answer the phone.

Gwen: Hey, sis. Are you out of surgery? No. Everything's cool. I-I know you were swamped. The police? Why? That's crazy. Okay, well, someone's at the door. Um, so I got to go. I'll talk to you later, okay?

Neil: What? What? What?! Come on!

Gwen: The stuff I stole from the supply room. They know it's missing.

Neil: That's fine. There's no way to tie us to that, right?

Gwen: Yes, there is. The police put trackers in the boxes.

Dylan: We all want Hilary back safe, but we all want whoever did this to go to jail for a long time.

Devon: Dylan, we're not involving the cops. That's final.

Dylan: Okay. Okay. I want to help you. I want to work with you on this. Play it however you want.

Devon: Thank you.

Cane: Hey, you! Stop!

Devon: What was that about?

Lily: Cane saw someone leaving another envelope at the desk.

Devon: The guy in the hoodie?

Lily: Yeah, but no one saw his face.

Devon: "I'm ready to arrange a drop."

Nick: You know, you haven't changed a bit. You go around blaming everyone else when you're the one leaving this trail of destruction. Why didn't you just disappear when you had the chance?

Adam: Yeah, because your life would have been so much easier without me in it, right? Come on, man. This has nothing to do with me. If it hadn't been this, it would have been something else. Sage would have eventually disappointed you, right? Because you make it impossible, Nick, to live up to your lofty goals.

Nick: You made it your mission to destroy this family. If anything happens to her or that baby --

Adam: What? What?

Stitch: Okay, okay. Easy. Don't make threats. If it hadn't been for Adam, that child wouldn't have made it this far. Come on. Go down to NICU. See your kid. Appreciate the gift you've been given.

Adam: Your son, Nick. It's a boy. Congratulations.

Nick: [Sighs] It's a boy. [Sighs]

Cane: The kid got away.

Lily: It was a kid?

Cane: Yeah, I think so.

Lily: Did you see his face?

Cane: No, the hood was covering it. What does the -- what did the note say?

Devon: It's instructions from the kidnapper.

Dylan: They want $1 million dropped in the park tomorrow night. And then we'll be told where Hilary is.

Cane: [Sighs]

Gwen: Oh, my God. The hospital knew what was taken before. I've led the police right to us.

Neil: Ah.

[Telephone ringing]

Brewer: Hello. Chief Williams' office.

Dylan: Brewer, hey. It's -- it's Dylan. I need to talk to Paul.

Brewer: He's not in, Mac. Something I can do for you?

Dylan: Yeah. I just -- I-I need a status update on the trackers. I want to see if anybody took the bait.

Brewer: No activity. Little box says "signal offline."

Billy: Just being around your old man takes so much work. I-I can't do it anymore, Vick. [Sighs]

Victoria: Well...would it help to think about what you two have in common? You both want Adam arrested.

Billy: I preferred him dead.

Victoria: I wish you wouldn't talk like that.

Billy: Why's that? 'Cause it's true?

Victoria: I know you want to see Adam punished. And I know you're worried that that's never gonna happen. Do you know what I'm worried about?

Billy: What?

Victoria: I'm worried about you. Things were so bleak after Dee Dee died. You were in such a dark place. I was afraid that grief and anger were gonna just eat you alive, Billy, and I just don't want that to happen again.

Billy: [Sighs] Let's go home.

Nikki: Yes. Well, how much longer will it be? I understand. All right. Well, thank you for your time.

Victor: This about Sage?

Nikki: Yeah. She's still in surgery. There's no word yet.

Victor: Oh. What about the baby?

Nikki: He's in neonatal ICU.

Victor: He?

Nikki: Yep. We have another grandson.

Victor: Oh, my goodness. A little boy. I'll be damned.

Nikki: [Laughs]

Victor: Wow.

Nikki: Congratulations, Grandpa.

Victor: That's nice. Yeah.

Nick: Hey. What's up, little man? It's your dad. Welcome to the world, son. Didn't expect to see you this soon. But I'm sure glad to see you. You're so little. But you keep fighting, okay? That's what Newmans do. We fight. And you're gonna pull through this. So is your mom.

Stitch: Take her to recovery. I'll be right in.

Adam: How did we do, doc? Is she, uh -- is she gonna be all right? How did the surgery go? The baby, uh -- the baby gonna be all right?

Paul: Adam. Adam Newman, you're under arrest.
