Episode # 10740 ~ Adam & Chelsea plan a fresh start away from Genoa City; Victor throws a wrench in his deal with Jack; Summer presses Phyllis for answers about Marco.

Provided By Suzanne

Adam: Just tell me where to sign, and we can make the purchase of this home official.

Chelsea: What?

Adam: Chelsea, hey. This is Margot. She's a real-estate agent.

Chelsea: Bonjour.

Margot: Bonjour.

Chelsea: Gabe, we never agreed to buy a home.

Adam: Uh, well, that is -- that's true. But, um, I wanted to surprise you, so made an offer.

Chelsea: So, um -- so, it's, like, a done deal?

Margot: [French accent] Not quite. The current owner wants to meet with Mr. Bingham before she approves the sale.

Adam: Uh, great. So, I'll -- I'll be in touch with you, and we can go ahead and set that up, okay?

Margot: Bon.

Adam: All right, great. Thank you for coming by.

[Door closes]

Adam: You're upset. I understand. Okay. I should've told you that jack called and wanted me to move back to Genoa city.

Chelsea: Yes, I am very upset. So what were you thinking buying us a house?

Summer: I still cannot believe that Harding killed Austin and Courtney. And I keep wondering why he suddenly snapped and killed three people.

Phyllis: That is probably something we'll never know about. So, what you gonna have? I'm thinking the French toast with the strawberry and bananas. That sounds yummy to me.

Summer: And what did Marco Annicelli have to do with all of this?

Phyllis: Baby, we don't know exactly.

Summer: But there's got to be more to this. I'm sure of it.

Jack: Let's do this.

Victor: Nicholas is not here yet.

Billy: Well, I'm gonna be out of here in about 10 seconds.

Victoria: I'll fill him in.

Victor: Jack and I called you here to... officially dissolve Newman-Abbott.

Jack: The plan is that Newman enterprises and Jabot will once again be separate entities. Each family will walk away with everything they had prior to the merger.

Victor: Well, not quite everything.

Sharon: Hi, dr. Riggs. It's Sharon Newman. Yeah, I was just calling to ask you a question. You never said how soon I could start trying to get pregnant again. Oh. That long? No, no, I understand.

Sharon: Okay. Thank you, dr. Riggs.

Dylan: Is everything okay with the baby?

Sharon: Yeah, I was just -- I was just calling the doctor, because I was just feeling tired, and she said it was fine. There's nothing to worry about.

Dylan: Good. Good. Because I don't know what I would do if anything happened to you or our baby.

Noah: Seeing my mom leave Sage's baby shower upset like that... and then find her crying in the park... I'm just worried about her, you know?

Marisa: Well, could be the pregnancy. Hormones.

Noah: Yeah.

Marisa: You don't think so?

Noah: It's just, a couple years ago, she freaked out at the idea of anybody else having a kid with my dad.

Marisa: You think that's gonna happen again?

Nick: Well, seems like we're all covered, so I got to go.

Sage: Oh, you have to go pick up faith?

Nick: Uh, no. Actually, a family meeting and attendance is mandatory.

Sage: Wow. Your family is very, um...

Nick: Overbearing? Demanding?

Sage: I was gonna say attractive.

Nick: Mm. Well, you did get a healthy dose of them yesterday.

Sage: That was very sweet of Nikki and Victoria to throw me a baby shower.

Nick: But...?

Sage: But what?

Nick: Well, I'm just waiting till the end of the story when you say, "but..."

Sage: Well, if they went all out for a little party for a baby, I can't imagine the huge deal they're gonna make out of our wedding.

Nick: What if we don't give them a chance?

Sage: What do you mean?

Nick: Maybe we should rethink things.

Sage: If you're gonna suggest something crazy like exchanging our vows while skydiving --

Nick: No, because that would be so awesome.

Sage: [Laughing]

Nick: You know, instead of the big Newman blowout, why don't we just keep it simple? You... let's go with me, and... my kids.

Sage: Are you just saying that because you think that's what I want?

Nick: Would that be so terrible?

Sage: It'd be sweet.

Nick: So...

Sage: So, small is perfect.

Nick: You know what would be even more perfect?

Sage: No, I cannot imagine.

Nick: Let's do it tonight.

Sage: Get out of here.

Nick: I -- no! I'm not going anywhere. Look, we live together, we're having a baby. Why not?

Sage: I can't think of a reason why not.

Nick: So, you in?

Sage: I'm in.

Noah: Hello, lovebirds. What's going on?

Nick: Sage and I are getting married.

Noah: Yeah, I'm pretty sure we all know that.

Nick: Well, did you know we're gonna be doing it tonight at sunset at the...

Sage: Chancellor park? Oh. No. Not chancellor park. Somewhere with less unfortunate history for you.

Nick: No. No, we are not gonna let superstition dictate our choices.

Sage: We're not?

Nick: No, we're not. So chancellor park it is.

Noah: Okay. Wow! This is exciting.

Nick: And we're gonna keep it super-small -- just you, summer, and faith.

Noah: Have you told the rest of the family?

Nick: No, but I have a meeting with them now, and I'll fill them in when I see them.

Noah: All right, good luck. Um... well, I guess Marisa and I, we can start with the arrangements at chancellor park, in the meantime.

Nick: Thanks, bud. Appreciate it.

Noah: Yeah. Uh, listen, I should probably tell mom, though. You know, I don't want faith to spring the news on her after the fact.

Nick: You do that, and then just tell her I'll pick up faith later.

Sage: And I'm gonna walk out with you because I have a lot to do before sunset.

Nick: Let's go.

Marisa: What's -- what's wrong?

Noah: Uh, I'm just a little worried how my mom's gonna take the news.

Summer: That's surprising.

Phyllis: What?

Summer: Says dad and Sage are getting married tonight.

Phyllis: You're right. I wasn't expecting that. How do you feel about it?

Summer: I'm happy as long as dad's happy. What about you? How do you feel about it?

Phyllis: Well, you know, I'm sure she's the one. How long has nick known her? For 10 minutes? So how could it not work?

Summer: Mom.

Phyllis: You're right. You know what? I hope it does work. Your father deserves to be happy. He does. And you know what? If he's certain about marrying Sage, then you know what? I'm sure he's right to not wait. If you have a chance at happiness, you should grab it, because you never know what life is gonna throw at you.

Adam: We were talking about buying a home here in Paris. We were talking about moving here. All right? You finally forgave me. I was getting everything that I wanted. And then, in the middle of that, jack called, okay? And I didn't tell you because... I didn't want to lose the moment.

Chelsea: That doesn't justify lying to me or going behind my back to buy a house.

Adam: Words weren't working, okay? So I needed to show you that I was serious about moving here and moving on with my life. I love you, and I love Connor. And as much as I would love to sit here and promise you that I was never gonna mess things up again, I probably am. But here's what I can promise. I'm gonna be a wonderful husband to you, okay? I'm gonna be a wonderful father to Connor. You know I can do that. And we can have the family we always wanted, Chelsea. It is right here. I just need you to tell me that you want it as badly as I do.

Chelsea: You better call that real-estate agent, 'cause we're gonna have to convince the owner of that house she should give it to us if we're gonna have it.

Adam: That she should give it to us, yes. You hear that, baby boy? Huh? Connor, you hear that? We're gonna start a new life here in Paris. What do you think of that, huh? What an opportunity.

Chelsea: Can you learn French?

Adam: Could do whatever you want, can't you.

Jack: What are you trying to pull here? We have an agreement.

Victor: We have an agreement for the Abbotts and the Newmans to go their separate way. Abby is a Newman. So, hopefully, she'll stay and work for me.

Ashley: Excuse me, but she is also an Abbott.

Abby: And I'm standing right here. I can hear everything that you're saying.

Ashley: I'm sorry, honey.

Abby: Look, I knew this was gonna be an issue, but I didn't think I'd have to make a decision quite this soon.

Victoria: It's obvious which company is best for you.

Billy: Yes, it is. Everyone knows you belong to Jabot.

Kyle: Right. So it's settled.

Ashley: Well, hold on a second. I mean, this is Abby's decision.

Victor: So, darling... who do you want to work for?

Nick: What'd I miss?

Jack: Your father's usual last-minute power play.

Abby: Dad wants me to stay here and work for him instead of going back to Jabot.

Victor: And Abby was about to tell us what she has decided.

Ashley: Just take your time, honey.

Billy: She doesn't need time. The choice is easy.

Abby: No, it's actually very difficult. But... I've made up my mind. I am gonna stay here at Newman. I hope you all understand.

Billy: What? That you've chosen a title over your family? Sure.

Abby: The Newmans are my family, too, and dad has given me a great opportunity. I am able to do things here at Newman that I was never able to do at Jabot. Not that I didn't love working with you all, because I did, and I love you guys so much.

Kyle: We love you, too, abs. No hard feelings.

Billy: Speak for yourself.

Abby: Uncle jack?

Jack: I hate losing you. But I really do want what's best for you.

Abby: Thank you.

Abby: Will you still love me?

Ashley: Of course. Don't forget you're an Abbott, too, okay?

Abby: I will never forget that.

Ashley: Great. I guess we're done here.

Victor: One more thing. The Chelsea fashion line.

Jack: What about it?

Victor: I want it to continue under the Newman umbrella.

Billy: You got to be kidding me. No way. It's called Chelsea by Jabot for a reason.

Jack: We've already sunk millions of dollars into Chelsea's new lines. No, we're not about to give it up right now.

Victor: You may have discovered her, but Victoria has been running the division for months. I think it's best I she continue to do so.

Billy: You think it's best.

Victoria: Newman has the resources to rebrand and grow Chelsea's company in a way that Jabot never could.

Billy: He has really got you spouting the party line, doesn't he?

Nick: Let's just wait and see what Chelsea wants. If she's forced to work at either company against her will, it could provide a hostile, unproductive environment.

Victor: I want Chelsea's fashion line to continue under the Newman umbrella. Simple as that.

Adam: Have a seat, please.

Simone: [French accent] I should thank you for indulging me.

Adam: Oh, no, it's fine. It's not unusual for the seller to want to meet the buyers, right? Make sure we're legit. I understand.

Simone: My reason for wanting to meet you is more personal. The house I am selling is very special to me, and I want to make sure whoever moves in loves and appreciates it the way my husband and I did.

Adam: That's very sweet. I understand that, and I'm sure we will. We're not just looking for a house. We're looking for a home. The past couple years have been pretty rough on us. Moving to Paris is sort of our way of...starting fresh, you know, leaving all the pain and the sadness behind.

Chelsea: Mm-hmm. Your house is exactly what we've been looking for.

Adam: Yeah.

Chelsea: I felt like I could feel the love and hear all the laughter that filled it for so many years, and I could really picture Connor playing in the nursery or kicking a soccer ball around the garden or the three of us watching the boats go down the seine.

Adam: Yeah, maybe someday, the four of us.

Simone: My husband and I raised our children there. He passed away recently.

Adam: Very sorry to hear that.

Simone: Oh, don't be. You are right. We shared many happy years together in our home. My heart is full of memories of our time there. Birthdays, holidays... even the ordinary days were special.

Chelsea: You make the house sound almost magical.

Simone: Oh, it is. And I know you'll be as happy and blessed there as my husband and I were.

Adam: So -- so are you saying the house is ours?

Simone: If you want it, yes. Gabriel, Chelsea, it is yours.

Chelsea: We want it.

Adam: We absolutely want it. This is great, thank you. You hear that, buddy? We got it! This is gonna be great.

Summer: Sage, hi. I just got a text from my dad. He said you guys are getting married tonight?

Sage: I know. Crazy, huh?

Summer: Yeah, a little.

Sage: Oh, I really, really hope you can make it.

Summer: Yeah, I wouldn't miss it. You must be so excited.

[Both laugh]

Sage: I am. I'm excited. And nervous.

Phyllis: Well, wedding jitters are normal.

Sage: Well, it's -- it's not jitters. I'm just a little worried that we're not inviting nick's family to the ceremony, especially his parents.

Phyllis: Well, they don't get a vote on how you and nick live your lives, no matter what they tell you.

Summer: You know, grandma and grandpa just want dad to be happy, so I'm sure they'll be fine with your plans. And jack's family understood when you guys decided to elope to St. Barths, and you don't have any regrets, right?

Phyllis: This is your wedding, and as long as you and nick are happy, that's all that matters.

Sage: You're right. I'm not gonna let anything ruin this night.

Noah: Hey, Mom.

Sharon: Oh, hey. Hey, two ice coffees?

Noah: Oh, no, we're not actually here for coffee.

Sharon: Okay. Is something wrong?

Noah: No, I just came to tell you something.

Sharon: Okay. What is it?

Noah: Um, dad and Sage are getting married.

Sharon: Okay. Old news, but good news, I guess.

Noah: Tonight.

Sharon: Oh. Oh. Uh, what, did you come here to invite me or...?

Noah: No.

Sharon: Then -- then why are you telling me this?

Dylan: Sharon...

Sharon: No, I want to know why Noah felt the need to come here and tell me in person that nick's getting married tonight.

Noah: I just -- I didn't want you to be caught off guard is all.

Sharon: Because you thought that I was gonna freak out.

Noah: No.

Sharon: That's a lie, Noah. That's exactly why you're here. You could've texted me, but you thought that my head was gonna explode, and, what -- I was gonna do something to try to stop the wedding?

Dylan: I don't really think that's what Noah was saying.

Sharon: No, that's exactly what he was thinking, though. It's what you're thinking, right?

Noah: Mom, I was just worried about you. That's all.

Sharon: Noah, I told you I'm fine. Okay? I've moved on from your father. I'm marrying Dylan now. I'm taking my meds. I feel good! Stop waiting for me to do something crazy. I'm not crazy!

Jack: What is it? What Victor wants, Victor gets? Not this time. Chelsea stays where she belongs -- at Jabot. End of meeting.

Victor: You and I agreed that Newman-Abbott would go their separate ways. Chelsea is a Newman.

Billy: In name only.

Victor: Connor is my blood. Newman enterprises is his legacy. I want Chelsea's company to be part of that legacy.

Billy: I'm closer to Connor than any of the Newmans. In fact, he's come to think of me as a father.

Victor: He will always be Adam's son.

Billy: And neither of you deserve to have him in your lives.

Victoria: Okay. Maybe we should table this for now.

Ashley: I think that's an excellent idea. Shall we?

Jack: You spin this any way you want. You and I both know, if Adam were here, the last thing he would want is for you to be part of his son's life.

Adam: Done.

Simone: Oh, wonderful.

Margot: Felicitation.

Adam: Thank you.

Margot: You have purchased a beautiful house.

Adam: No, we've purchased a beautiful home.

Victor: I don't give a damn what the Abbotts think. I did what I had to for my family.

Abby: And don't forget I'm a member of both families.

Victor: Sweetheart, you're a Newman. And tonight, we're going to celebrate the relaunch of Newman enterprises with all my children.

Nick: Well, you're gonna have to celebrate without me. I have plans.

Victor: You have plans? Well, put them on hold.

Nick: I can't. They're important.

Victor: How important are they?

Nick: Well, it's my wedding.

Victoria: Your what?

Nick: Yeah, uh, Sage and I went ahead and decided to just get married tonight.

Victor: Whoa.

Abby: And you're just now telling us? We need time to get ready.

Nick: No, you don't.

Abby: Yes, I do. I need to make some calls. Who's your florist?

Nick: Sage and I decided to do this very small, so it's just gonna be us and my kids.

Abby: Oh.

Victoria: You, um... you didn't want to have a Newman extravaganza?

Nick: That is exactly right, but you know I love you both so much.

Victoria: Did you tell mom?

Nick: No. Was kind of hoping you'd do that for me.

Victoria: You're such a coward.

Victor: Your mom and I wish you the best, son.

Nick: Thank you, dad. Well, I got to go. There's a lot of stuff I have to do for the ceremony, so...

Victoria: All right, well, congratulations, and my gift to you is telling mom that she's not invited.

Nick: You don't even have to wrap that.

Abby: Well, you can expect something shiny and expensive from me, probably still wrapped from the last time you almost got married.

Nick: Oh, that is funny.

Victoria: All right, go. Enjoy your wedding that we're not invited to.

Nick: I will. It means a lot. I know you guys support me. Thanks.

Victoria: Bye.

Dylan: Here you go.

Noah: I didn't mean to upset my mom.

Dylan: No, no, she'll be fine. Really. She's just -- she's tired of people expecting her to implode every time she faces a stressful situation.

Noah: It's just that... my dad moving on with his life has triggered some of the worst breakdowns my mom has ever had.

Dylan: I understand. But that was the past, and I really think she's moved on.

Noah: Then why did she freak out when I mentioned dad and Sage getting married?

Dylan: Noah, she hasn't been feeling well, and this pregnancy has been pretty rough on her, so maybe her overreaction had something to do with that.

Noah: Yeah. Yeah, I-I hope that's all it is.

Dylan: Whatever's going on with her, I'm gonna keep my eye on her.

Sharon: Guess I cleared the room, huh?

Marisa: Noah's just worried about you.

Sharon: I'm sure he told you about my disorder.

Marisa: He did.

Sharon: I hope it doesn't scare you off, because... I know how much he really cares about you.

Marisa: Oh, I'm the last person to judge. People have been doing that to me my whole life. If I were to focus on one thing about you, it would be the fact that you raised Noah. You brought him into this world and made him the amazing gentleman he is.

Noah: You okay?

Sharon: I-I haven't been feeling well lately, and the news about the wedding, it just caught me off guard.

Noah: Okay. You sure you're okay with it?

Sharon: Yeah, it's fine.

Noah: All right. Well, we got to go. I told dad that we'd help with the arrangements, so...

Sharon: Well, give them my best.

Noah: I will. Okay, bye.

Sharon: Bye. Bye. Well, back to work.

Dylan: Not yet.

Adam: When I was fighting my way back to you and Connor, this is the moment I thought of -- this exact moment right here. So, why don't we toast to --

Chelsea: Perseverance?

Adam: I was gonna say to you, actually. You're what got me through.

[Glasses clink]

Chelsea: Mmm.

Adam: This is so nice. There are not words that could describe how I feel right now.

Chelsea: So then stop talking.

Adam: That's a good idea.

Sharon: How do you do it?

Dylan: Do what?

Sharon: How do you know exactly what to do to make me feel better?

Dylan: It's easy. I love you. W-what's wrong?

Sharon: I think you're right. I'm just tired.

Dylan: Okay. Dylan, I'm sorry.

Dylan: No, there's no reason to apologize. I'm fine. Come here.

Marisa: The florist said he could deliver flowers for the service. He just needs someone here to help set up. Noah?

Noah: Uh, yeah. I'm sorry. The flowers, right. Delivered.

Marisa: Your mother's gonna be okay.

Noah: I know. I just can't help but worry about her, you know?

Marisa: Well, she's a strong woman, and she has Dylan.

Noah: He has been good for her.

Marisa: Then trust him. And trust your mother. You know, I think she was right. I think you ran over there to tell her because you were expecting her to freak out.

Noah: But she didn't.

Marisa: No. But if you keep doing that, she's always gonna doubt herself, so stop worrying about her. Besides, you should be focused on your father for tonight.

Noah: You're right, you're right. It's a big night for him. Okay. Uh, let's see. You got the flowers, I got the permit to use the park, I arranged for some lighting, downloaded some wedding music, so... where do you think... they should stand?

Marisa: Ooh. Um... I think nick should stand... here.

Noah: Right here?

Marisa: Yeah.

Nick: Okay. So Sage would be -- let's see. Right here.

Marisa: It's gonna be really romantic. The lighting, the music... and the flowers, the moon shining down on them. Can you picture it?

Noah: Sure. Got the most beautiful view in the park right here.

Sage: Is it too much? We want to keep it simple. Maybe it's too boring? Should I have gone for a strapless one?

Summer: No, Sage -- Sage, it's perfect. My dad is -- he's gonna love it.

Kyle: Love what?

Summer: Hey! You got my message.

Kyle: Yeah, you said you had news. And I hope it's good news. After the meeting I just came from, I could really use it.

Summer: What did my grandpa do this time?

Kyle: Oh, the usual -- lying, backstabbing, trying to cheat my family out of what's rightfully theirs. But your dad was cool. He tried to keep the peace.

Nick: Tried and failed.

Sage: Sounds like your family meeting didn't go so well.

Nick: Whatever. Dad's dad. I don't care. I have a wedding to prepare for.

Kyle: Wait. What?

Summer: Yeah, that's the news I was gonna tell you about. My dad and Sage are getting married tonight.

Kyle: Guys, congratulations.

Nick: Thanks. I see you got a dress.

Summer: Yes, and matching shoes.

Nick: Matching shoes? Are we going that fancy?

[Both laugh]

Nick: Well, Noah's got everything taken care of at the park.

Summer: So you're all good to go?

Nick: Except for one thing -- someone to perform the ceremony. I can't find anyone to do it on such short notice.

Kyle: Uh...I can.

Summer: What?

Kyle: Yeah, um... this may sound weird, but I'm actually an ordained minister, so...

Nick: For real?

Kyle: Yeah. No, for real. When I was living in new York, two of my friends asked me to marry them, and, yeah, I just went online and got ordained, so...

Summer: Well, I guess there's still some things I don't know about you.

Kyle: That's right. I am very mysterious. Oh, and before you ask, yes, I am authorized to perform marriages in Wisconsin.

Nick: Well, reverend Abbott, you are hired.

Kyle: All right.

Sage: Everything's falling into place.

Nick: Yeah, it's almost like the universe is trying to tell us something.

Sage: Like, um... something as crazy as waking up in the morning and saying, "let's get married today."

Nick: No, but this is exactly how we are supposed to be getting married.

Phyllis: You have Jabot back, free and clear?

Jack: Minus Abby and possibly Chelsea, though I'm not willing to give up on her just yet.

Phyllis: Maybe you should.

Victor: And just let the mustache win?

Phyllis: Look, honey, you got your father's company back. You're going to work tomorrow with people you love, who share the same passion you do to keep the Jabot legacy alive. Look, I know I have been saying Victor needs to pay for what he did, but maybe it's time to let it go.

Jack: Well, maybe it's time to let go of a lot of things right now.

Phyllis: What does that mean?

Jack: These last few months have been some of the darkest of my life. Everything I've been through, everything I had to do to get back here... they changed me. I'm -- I'm worn out, physically and emotionally. I don't want to fight anymore. I'm not sure I want to run a company anymore.

Phyllis: What are you saying?

Jack: Maybe it's time for me to back away from Jabot for a while.

Abby: "It's professional suicide." That's what Billy said to me as we were leaving.

Ashley: He's just worried about you, honey.

Abby: Well, do you think I made the wrong choice?

Ashley: It doesn't matter what I think, does it?

Abby: Okay, tell me the truth. Just how mad are you?

Ashley: I'm not mad at all. I love you. I do. But I want you to be happy.

Abby: And you don't think I will be working for dad.

Ashley: I think you would've been treated a lot better at Jabot.

Abby: Dad loves me.

Ashley: Yeah, he loves all his children. That doesn't stop him from pitting one against the other. Didn't he already pit you against Victoria?

Abby: Well, um, the competition made us both better at our jobs.

Ashley: And what about personally? I'm just asking you, please, please be careful.

Abby: I will. You know, I hate to drink and run, but I have to go pack. I'm moving back into my house.

Ashley: Oh, really? Tell me if you're ever lonely. I'm starting to feel like a third wheel back at the old homestead.

Abby: Well, you might feel that way, too, at my place. Um... Ben's moving in with me.

Victoria: So why are you so calm?

Victor: What's the reason to be upset?

Victor: Well, I can think of a number of reasons, actually.

Victor: This looks all very good, you know. Sales are up in every division.

Victoria: What about nick's wedding? Disappointed that you weren't invited?

Victor: I guess he wanted to keep things small.

Victoria: And are you okay with him marrying Sage?

Victor: I'm all right with it, you know. He loves her, and she's carrying my grandchild.

Victoria: That is very Zen of you, dad.

Victor: Well, what else am I supposed to do?

Victoria: Don't fight Nicholas, but do fight he Abbotts for Chelsea's designs.

Victor: Yeah.

Victoria: Mm-hmm. Well, you know they're gonna come at you with everything that they have.

Victor: I expect them to.

Chelsea: I never want to go back to Genoa city, ever.

Adam: Well, then we don't have to. We don't have to.

[Cell phone rings]

Chelsea: Ugh.

Adam: What? No. Don't answer that.

Chelsea: We can't completely shut ourselves out from the rest of the world. Oh, it's an international call. It could be my mom. Hello?

Billy: Hey, Chelsea, it's Billy.

Chelsea: Billy? Uh, what's going on?

Billy: I'm sorry to interrupt your little, uh...Paris party, but there's some things going on here you need to know about.

Chelsea: Uh, like what?

Billy: Well, the merger's been undone, for one.

Chelsea: So, Newman enterprises and Jabot are two separate companies again?

Billy: Yeah, and that's the good news.

Chelsea: What's the bad news?

Billy: Victor is trying to claim your fashion line as part of the deal.

Chelsea: What? He can't do that.

Billy: Yeah, I know. That's what jack and I told him. Look, you need to get back here. Tell him that yourself.

Phyllis: When you say "step back," do you mean, like, not run Jabot?

Jack: I was thinking of handing the reins over to Ashley for a while.

Phyllis: Honey, that company is more important to you than anything.

Jack: Not anything. We were robbed of months together. I've been taking things for granted lately, and I -- I don't want to do that anymore. I want to focus on what's important.

Phyllis: You do not have to give up your job for me.

Jack: You don't want your husband's undivided attention?

Phyllis: I want you happy. And if Jabot isn't a part of your life, I know you're not gonna be happy.

Jack: I want to do this for us.

Phyllis: Okay, listen. How about...sharing the responsibilities? Make Ashley co-CEO., And everybody will be happy.

Jack: Including you?

Phyllis: Especially me.

Jack: Okay. I'll try it your way, but I want you to know one thing -- from this point on, you are my priority.

Chelsea: How can this be happening now -- now, when we were just about to start our life together in Paris? What am I gonna do?

Adam: Chelsea, you know what you have to do.

Chelsea: No. No, I -- I honestly don't.

Adam: You built that company with your bare hands from the ground up. You put your talent and your creativity into every single stitch. Chelsea by Jabot -- that's not just your label. Sweetheart, that is you. And you're gonna hand that over to Victor?

Victor: Now we just have to wait for chelsea to return.

Victoria: Well, I wouldn't be so sure that she will. I heard that she and gabriel are planning to start a new life in paris.

Victor: You mark my word, okay? Gabriel bingham can't stand the idea that I'd win at anything, so he will convince chelsea to come back.

Victoria: With connor.

Victor: That's right. And when that happens, I'll have her company and my grandson. Cheers.

Nick: All right, dress and shoes -- check. Park, music, flowers -- check. We got it all. Got a minister.

Sage: Check, check, check.

Nick: Unless there's anything else you need to make this wedding even more perfect.

Sage: Well, there is one more thing.

Nick: Name it.

Sage: I'd really like to have a photographer take our pictures so we can remember this night.

Nick: Done. Noah -- great photographer. He's the best, actually. But if you don't mind, I would like the honor of taking the first shot of us on our wedding day.

Dylan: Hi, little one. You know how long I've waited to be a dad?

Sharon: You're gonna be a wonderful father, dylan.

Dylan: What's going on? Where's the baby? What happened to the baby, sharon? Tell me -- what happened?!

Sharon: [ Gasps ]

Dylan: Hey. It's okay. It was just a bad dream.

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Victor: Want me to get a lawyer for devon and have my people look for hilary?

Neil: I don't think that's a good idea.

Nikki: Well, you want hilary to be found, don't you?

Kyle: We are gathered here today to witness the marriage of nicholas newman and Sage warner.
