Episode # 10726 ~ Adam pulls out all the stops to win back Chelsea, while sparks fly between Billy & Victoria.

Provided By Suzanne

Victor: Sweetheart, I just wanted to make sure that you survived the blackout.

Victoria: I'm good.

Victor: And the children?

Victoria: All good. And everything is running very smoothly here at the office.

Victor: I hear a "but."

Victoria: Gabriel. He seems to have vanished.

Victor: Well, how long have you not heard from him?

Victoria: Hours. I just found out that he didn't attend the Salazar meeting.

Victor: And no one has told you where he might be?

Victoria: Not his assistant, not the project heads, no one. Dad, why did you even ask him back into the company after what he pulled?

Victor: Sweetheart, that's a different story, all right? I have my reasons. Um, let me know as soon as you hear from him.

Victoria: Yes, of course. But personally, I hope that Gabriel stays gone. I'll talk to you later.

Billy: So Bingham's off the grid?

Victoria: Yeah. You don't have any idea where he is, do you?

Billy: Yeah, I do. A damn good idea. And if I'm right, I'm gonna hunt him down and drag him back here by his fingernails.

Chelsea: Just think. When you wake up, you're going to be here in Paree with zee croissants and the authentic French fries and French toast and... [Sighs] Yeah. You're not buying this whole "everything is wonderful" act, are you? Me neither. But don't you worry. Everything is gonna be just fine.

[Telephone rings]

Bonjour.

Adam: Hello, Chelsea.

Chelsea: How did you find me?

Adam: How did I find you? I was highly motivated.

Chelsea: I don't want to talk to you.

Adam: I know you're angry, okay? But I couldn't stand the thought of you and Connor just disappearing from my life.

Chelsea: That's not your choice.

Adam: Just give me a chance, okay? I can prove it to you.

Marisa: We can talk later. After more of this, about you, me, world peace.

Noah: No, wait, wait. I'm -- okay, wait. Look, I'm serious, Marisa. I want to get to know you.

Marisa: Now?

Noah: [Sighs] While we eat, okay? Please. Please. Sit down. Come on. Just, um... tell me about your life before Genoa city.

Marisa: I already have.

Noah: [Chuckles] I know. Uh, just tell me something -- something else, something you haven't told me before.

Marisa: Why does this feel like an interrogation? Do you suddenly not trust me anymore?

Jack: Nothing like that ever happened with Marisa and me.

Phyllis: You sure about that?

Jack: I swear to you. I never had those feelings for Marisa.

Phyllis: All right. Then I really have to ask you, why won't you do this?

Jack: Because it's not fair to her.

Phyllis: So your loyalty to this stranger trumps your own family's safety?

Jack: Marisa isn't responsible for putting my family at risk. Marco is.

Phyllis: Jack, don't you want to see this man punished?

Jack: More than you can possibly imagine.

Phyllis: Okay, then just pose as Marco and ask her some questions.

Jack: I wouldn't know how to pose as Marco! I've never met the man!

Phyllis: I have.

Jack: I don't want to pretend to be Marco, not even for a moment. Look, the police are on this. The police --

Phyllis: The police don't have Marco's face. You do. So use it to get Marisa to help us find him.

Jack: This is a bad idea!

Phyllis: Why?!

Jack: Because I'm uncomfortable with the prospect of learning about Marco from you.

Phyllis: Just... it just makes sense, Jack. I lived with him for months.

Jack: You lived with him while he was pretending to be me.

Phyllis: There were differences, if that's what you mean.

Jack: Apparently not enough that you'd notice it wasn't me. I'm -- I'm sorry. I didn't -- I didn't mean it that way.

Phyllis: Don't you think that this hurts me, too? I blame myself. I blame myself that it never occurred to me you weren't yourself.

Jack: Why would it occur to you?

Phyllis: Because I can see things clearly right now. I can see them 'cause I'm looking back. And there were differences, Jack. There were major differences.

Jack: Like what?

Phyllis: Marco pushed the envelope. He was bolder, more forceful.

Jack: So I'm not bold and forceful?

Phyllis: No, that's not what I'm saying. Not in a -- not an "in your face" kind of way or scary way, no.

Jack: I hate that he made it into this house. I hate that he got anywhere near you.

Phyllis: Okay, so let's do something about it. Let's find out why Marco risked coming back to this house, what he really has to gain. The only way we're gonna get a clue about that is through Marisa.

Jack: Okay, okay. Okay. Let's do it. Let's see what bold and forceful Marco can accomplish.

Noah: I just want something serious here. I want an honest relationship. Is that too much to ask for?

Marisa: You don't think I'm being honest with you? I thought you were the one person who trusted me.

Noah: I do trust you.

Marisa: Then what happened between the time you went downstairs and now? [Sighs] Your family. You spoke to someone from your family or to one of your friends. Why can't they stop interfering? They pressure you to turn against me.

Noah: I make up my own mind about people. I always have.

Marisa: Summer must have said something to you.

Noah: My friends and family, they are not interfering. They've lost people that they love, you see? Someone killed Austin and Courtney, and they still haven't gotten any justice for that. Do you understand?

Marisa: You lost someone you loved. Courtney.

Noah: Yeah. We were supposed to have forever.

Marisa: You want to hear something I've never told you about me? I understand that kind of loss, Noah. And I swear to you, I had nothing to do with Courtney or anything else like that.

Noah: I believe you.

Marisa: And if Marco did this, if he took Austin and Courtney away from you, you have my word -- I will help you find him, and I will give you the justice that you deserve.

Chelsea: Why do you say things like that? Adam, you can't prove to me how I feel.

Adam: Listen to me for a second. I've spent my entire life denying things that you forced me to see through fresh eyes. That's all I'm trying to do here, okay?

Chelsea: Well, I hope you're successful with that, Adam, but I am sitting out this round. I don't want anything to do with you. I love your daddy. So much. I really do.

[Telephone rings]

Adam: Why are you in Paris?

Chelsea: I like Paris.

Adam: We were gonna move there together.

Chelsea: I remember.

Adam: Why are you staying at a hotel that's on the same street that we were gonna move to? And please, don't tell me you're enjoying the same view that you and I were gonna share for the rest of our lives. Is that what's happening right now?

Chelsea: Choosing this hotel had nothing to do with you.

Adam: Okay, I want to come see you, you and Connor.

Chelsea: No.

Adam: Chelsea.

Chelsea: No! Adam, no! Don't you dare get on an airplane. I needed to get away, okay? You have to let me have that. You owe me that. Adam?

Adam: Fine.

Chelsea: Okay. Good. Don't call here again. That was way too easy. I just needed a break from Gabriel. Thanks for checking on me, Billy, but, um, don't worry. Connor and I are fine.

Billy: Does that sound fine to you? Chelsea leaving town without a word to anyone all to get away from Gabe?

Victoria: Uh, well, you know, there was some tension in Chelsea's voice.

Billy: Look, I am not going to let Bingham continue to harass her. He just ran Chelsea and Connor out of town, not to mention all the other havoc he's been wreaking. The guy just claimed to be my brother.

Victoria: With jack's help, apparently.

Billy: Yeah, exactly! And how weird is that? Of course, I guess it's about as insane as your dad allowing Gabe to continue to collect a Newman-Abbott paycheck.

Victoria: My dad has his reasons.

Billy: Vick -- [Sighs] None of this makes any sense to me. Gabriel has got to have something on Victor.

Victoria: Oh, now that's a big leap.

Billy: Yeah? Then why else would your dad allow him to step foot in this place after the attempted murder frame-up?

Victoria: I don't know. But is that what you're after?

Billy: Is what what I'm after?

Victoria: You want Gabriel's ammunition so you can use it against my father?

Billy: Vick, I want answers. The truth. There is something about Gabriel. It's -- it's off, okay? It's twisted. I want the guy out of our lives.

Victoria: Billy --

Billy: Don't try and talk me down. I'm sick of being Mr. Nice guy, and I'm gonna do whatever it takes to break Bingham, whatever it takes!

Victoria: Billy, stop! Just stop it!

Billy: If you are about to start defending Gabe --

Victoria: No, I'm not defending him. I'm worried about you.

Billy: You're worried about me?

Victoria: Yes, I'm worried about you because every time anyone even mentions his name, you flip out. It's like how it was before with Adam. You have that same look. It's the same thing.

Billy: It's not like that.

Victoria: And you went after Adam with that gun.

Billy: Vick --

Victoria: Don't tell me that it's different, Billy, because I was there, and I remember. I remember. And you're scaring me right now.

Billy: Hey, hey, look, I'm... I'm sorry. I'm not trying to scare you, and I apologize. I don't -- I don't want you worrying about this, okay? I'm...I'm cool, all right?

Victoria: You're cool? You don't hate Gabriel?

Billy: Oh, I hate him and the fact that he probably followed Chelsea and Connor out of town.

Victoria: It makes you want to kill him.

Billy: I didn't say that.

Victoria: No, but you thought it. I know you did.

Billy: Look, Victoria --

Victoria: Which is exactly why you should not go looking for Gabriel, Billy, because you might do something crazy.

Billy: Yeah. I might. [Scoffs] I just -- I'm so fixated on the guy. I go to work, and it makes me think about him. I go home, and there's nothing to do but think. And I guess drinking and gambling are out.

Victoria: [Scoffs] Well, that's reassuring.

Billy: [Scoffs] [Sighs] Help me out here, Victoria. You got any non-self-destructive ideas I can use to amuse myself?

Chelsea: I hate to say this about your daddy, Connor, but he is very stubborn and he's very pushy. And knowing Adam, he's probably boarding a plane to Paris right now as we speak.

[Knock on door]

Chelsea: You know who that is? That is the concierge with our bill. We'll pay our bill and we will just get out of here. Yeah, as soon as we possibly... can.

Noah: I don't believe that you had anything to do with those murders.

Marisa: You're sure about that? Because, Noah --

Noah: If I wasn't sure, I would not be here right now.

Marisa: Good.

[Cell phone vibrates]

Marisa: Hmm. Your phone is vibrating. Make it stop.

Noah: [Chuckles] Okay, I'll get on that. [Sighs] Damn it. I'm -- [Groans]

Marisa: What is it?

Noah: It's a reminder. I promised my dad I'd meet him at the club before they closed.

Marisa: Now?

Noah: I'm sorry. I got to go. I'm sorry.

Marisa: Hurry. Come back. Quick.

Noah: I will.

[Door opens]

Noah Newman?

Noah: Yeah. What's up? You part of the detail that's supposed to protect us or...?

You need to come down to the station right now.

Phyllis: If Marisa compliments you, don't act all dismissive and self-deprecatingly Jack about it.

Jack: What do you suggest I do instead?

Phyllis: Swagger, like you know you look good. And absolute--

Jack: Okay, I think I've heard enough. I got it from here.

Phyllis: Absolutely no kissing her, even in Marco mode.

Jack: Not a hard promise to keep given who I'm coming back to.

Phyllis: Good luck. Hey. Swagger. [Chuckles]

Victor: Thank you.

Phyllis: Where's Nikki?

Victor: Well, now. Why would that be of interest to you?

Phyllis: Doesn't matter. I wouldn't want your wife to hear the things I'm about to say to you.

Victor: Well, I certainly wouldn't want anyone to hear what I have to say to you.

Marisa: Twice in one night, Jack. What's going on?

Jack: What's going on? For starters, I'm not Abbott. And you better not be disappointed by that news.

Harding: Have a seat, Newman.

Noah: I'd just like to know why the hell you brought me down here.

Harding: I'll tell you when you have a seat.

Noah: [Sighs]

Harding: [Sighs] So... how's your new girlfriend?

Noah: We both already told you everything we know.

Harding: Has she done anything suspicious? Anything that, you know, made you think twice, maybe raised a red flag?

Noah: No. And no. Can I go now?

Harding: No. So, this is a sketch of Marco Annicelli based on Marisa's description.

Noah: Yeah, I know. And?

Harding: We found the guy.

Noah: You found -- where? Man, this is him.

Harding: Oh, that's him. Problem is, that's not Marco. And that guy is in a whole bunch of little, bitty pieces.

Noah: What are you talking about?

Harding: He's the captain of a ship that blew up off the coast of south America, a ship that Marisa boarded two months ago.

Marisa: Marco. I didn't expect you so --

Jack: You didn't think I would abandon you, did you?

Marisa: Walking away isn't your style.

Jack: And I have plenty of style. Nice to see you're doing so well.

Marisa: You look good. Very good.

Jack: You happy to see me?

Marisa: I am. I'm relieved. I thought you had drowned.

Jack: Oh, we can discuss all that later. I need you to get me up to speed. I need to know what's going on. I need to be a step ahead. So, tell me about Abbott. He's already --

Marisa: Take one more step and I will gut you.

Phyllis: Where do you get off being angry at me?

Victor: You intimated some things to my wife.

Phyllis: That was me being discreet. I could have flat-out told Nikki how you have sunk to a whole, new level of depravity.

Victor: Now, what do you think I've done?

Phyllis: You kidnapped Jack and you replaced him with another man is what you've done.

Victor: I did not do that, no.

Phyllis: Bull.

Victor: Jack Abbott told me himself that Kelly Andrews was responsible for keeping him prisoner.

Phyllis: And who hired her? You have a history of using others to do your dirty work. They take the fall, and you get away with every crime imaginable.

Victor: Oh.

Phyllis: I can understand you going after Jack. Your mutual hatred has been legendary. But what you let that man do to me, allowing him in my bed to violate me over and over again. What did you do? Did you save me from that coma just to use me? I'd like to know.

Victor: I did not do that.

Phyllis: How could you expect me to believe anything you have to say? You made me a part of a plan to take Jack down in the most humiliating, degrading way possible. How would your precious family feel if they found out about what you've done?

Billy: You know what this reminds me of, buddy? How I used to do this with my dad.

Victoria: Here you go.

Billy: Thanks.

Victoria: You know, I'm always showing him pictures of john.

Billy: Really? You have?

Victoria: Yeah. Katherine and Johnny and I are always sitting on the couch looking at slideshows of family photographs.

Billy: You know, your grandpa Abbott was a great man.

Victoria: He was a great man. Your daddy's great, too.

Billy: Well, I'm still trying to measure up. But I have no doubt that you will someday. Your dad still got some lessons left to learn, like, um, what really counts in life and, um, what's not worth fighting for... and what is.

Adam: How's Connor?

Chelsea: It's been a long day for him. He can barely keep his eyes open.

Adam: At least I got to see him.

Chelsea: You're not welcome here.

Adam: And you keep mentioning that.

Chelsea: You know, I should have known that you were already here. I should have known that you wouldn't have been considerate enough to let me give you the okay first before you just show up at my door. Well, now you've -- you know, you've seen your son, so you can go.

Adam: I can go? Come on, Chelsea, give me a break. I flew all this way. Let me just enjoy you for a few minutes, okay? Maybe -- maybe have breakfast with my son. Is that too much to ask?

Chelsea: The son that you kidnapped?

Adam: How is that any different than you taking this spontaneous trip to Paris?

Chelsea: This is a vacation!

Adam: A vacation? You didn't tell me about it! You didn't tell anybody! You just hopped on a plane and -- and you went all the way across the Atlantic ocean. You didn't even look back.

Chelsea: Oh, please! The difference is I was always coming home, and you knew that. I have to pack. You can't --

Adam: Listen to me. I'm not going anywhere, okay? And I really don't think you should, either.

Chelsea: If you think that I am staying in this room with you --

Adam: Chelsea, this is the answer to all of our problems. Don't you see that?

Chelsea: What are you talking about?

Adam: What am I talking about? We forget Genoa City. Just forget about it. We stay here, okay? We have the life that we always dreamed of.

Victor: I am not responsible for what happened to you, Phyllis.

Phyllis: Like hell.

Victor: You believe what you want, but you keep it to yourself, all right?

Phyllis: Are you instructing me?

Victor: Didn't Jack tell you to keep your ridiculous accusations to yourself?

Phyllis: I have been duly briefed on your unholy alliance with Jack.

Victor: Oh, yeah? What did he say?

Phyllis: That we're keeping this all very quiet so Jack doesn't get punished for doing what he had to do to escape your ridiculous plan. You can deny all you want, Victor. You can rationalize every crime that you've been involved with, but we all know you have put this in motion by hiring Marco.

Victor: I did not do that, no.

Phyllis: You and I both know Marco Annicelli would never have come to this town.

Victor: You're mistaken. You know, in business, certain allowances can be made and certain steps can be taken.

Phyllis: So you took all of those allowances and you made all of those steps but to hell with me, right?

Victor: Let me ask you something. What would you do to save the lives of your children?

Phyllis: Anything.

Victor: That's right. And so will I.

Harding: This proves your girlfriend lied.

Noah: It doesn't. It could be just coincidence that the sketch matched the guy from the boat. You know, maybe it's too general. Looks like every other bald guy I know. I don't know. Maybe Marco is a relative of the ship's captain.

Harding: So, Marisa boards a boat days before it blows up with this captain on it, and then she says that Marco drowned somewhere in Wisconsin. None of this seems fishy to you? You're sleeping with her, aren't you?

Noah: Not part of your investigation, okay?

Harding: What I'm saying is, maybe you can get some information out of her, some detail that will help us catch Marco.

Noah: Marisa's already told you everything she knows.

Harding: You're willing to bet your life on that?

Noah: If Marco comes after me, don't worry about me, okay?

Harding: It's not just about you! It's about Kevin, too, and Mariah and your sister and your aunt!

Noah: You think that I don't care about them, like I haven't been watching out for them?!

Harding: Then why won't you help me stop him?

Noah: [Sighs]

Harding: You and me, we need to honor Courtney's memory and put her killer away.

Noah: I want that. More than anything.

Harding: Then make it happen. Find out what Marisa knows.

Jack: Put the knife down. There's nothing to be afraid of.

Marisa: The hell there isn't. You were gonna kill me that night our car went into the lake!

Jack: Take it easy. Take it easy.

Marisa: Where have you been, Marco? What are your plans?

Jack: I'm Jack. It's -- it's me. I'm telling you the truth.

Marisa: Oh, that's a first. What have you done to the real Jack? Have you killed him?

Jack: I stood in this room earlier and I told you to look in my eyes. Look in my eyes. Do it again.

Marisa: You were eavesdropping on Jack and me, lurking in my hallway?!

Jack: No, no, it's me! It really is!

Marisa: Stop lying. You deserve to pay for torturing these good people, and the only way for me to live and to keep these people safe is for you to die.

Chelsea: Live in Paris? With you? You're kidding. You're kidding.

Adam: No, I'm actually -- I'm dead serious. Think about it. We made all those plans before, right? Remember? We were gonna move here. I was gonna start my own investment firm. You were gonna take inspiration from this gorgeous city, design your clothes here in the fashion capital. Let's just do that. It was our original plan, okay? Leave all that ugliness behind. Forget Genoa city. Let's just -- let's just stay here, Chelsea.

Chelsea: How can you have this whole idealistic vision of the future after everything you've done? It's crazy. No, no, I refuse to uproot my entire life for a future with you when I can't even trust you.

Billy: This was good. Quality time with Johnny and tucking Katie in -- it, uh, mellowed me right out.

Victoria: That's good. You're not angry anymore?

Billy: Oh, my anger at Bingham is ever present, but, you know, it's in its proper perspective now. Instead of grudges and payback, I've got an afternoon with Johnny in my head. You know, spending time with the kids, it reminds me of what really counts in life, so thanks.

Victoria: No, no, no. All of the credit goes to our two little angels. They have no idea the power that they possess.

Billy: I am not going to diminish Johnny and Katie's abilities, but... their mom's got some pretty impressive powers of her own.

Victoria: Ha! [Chuckles] No. Not so much.

Billy: Vick, are you kidding me? Then where do you think they get it from? They're smart and they're sensitive and they're thoughtful. They're just like you. You, uh, you always know what I need, even before I do.

Victoria: It's always been like that for us. You know what I need, too.

Billy: Yeah.

Adam: You have a lot of reasons to give up on me.

Chelsea: Yeah, reasons you have given me.

Adam: That's totally true and that's fair. I'm asking you to give me another chance.

Chelsea: Please go, Adam.

Adam: Listen to me. Chelsea, we leave all those secrets behind, okay? You can call me Adam here without looking over your shoulder wondering who the hell heard.

Chelsea: The past would still be there.

Adam: That's not true. Not if we start over here. Look, we leave all that behind, okay? Everything that you hated about me, we leave it behind. Everything I hated about myself, it's gone.

Chelsea: Don't you realize? I have heard all of this before.

Adam: Yeah, I know. And I've told you all this before, and I'm telling you right now this is different.

Chelsea: It's not different!

Adam: It is different.

Chelsea: It's never different! It can't be because the thing that stopped us from being able to make it work before will inevitably stop us from being able to make it work now, and that thing is your father. So all of these rosy, grand promises are great, but it doesn't matter, Adam. Because there will always be something that's more important than me and more important than Connor, and that thing is revenge on Victor.

Jack: W-wait, wait. When we were being held on the ship, only one hand was shackled -- my right. I still have the scar.

Marisa: You're trying to trick me so you can grab my knife.

Jack: No, no, no. Did you tell Marco how we met on the ship?

Marisa: Where else would they hold you prisoner? Stop playing with me, Marco.

Jack: The first time I saw you, you walked into the hold with your shoes in one hand and a drink in the other, and you kissed me right away.

Marisa: Jack? It's really you.

Jack: Yes. Put -- put the knife -- and thank you for not stabbing me. I didn't want to spend another night in the hospital.

Marisa: Why did you do this? Were you testing me?

Jack: Not exactly.

Marisa: [Sighs] You scared me to death.

Jack: Okay, look, I wouldn't ordinarily do this to you. It's just we had to know that you weren't working with Marco.

Marisa: We?

Jack: Phyllis and me. Phyllis is frightened to death. Marco showed up at our house.

Marisa: Did he hurt her?

Jack: No, no. She knew it was him, and she knocked him out.

Marisa: [Sighs] Good for her.

Jack: He still got away.

Marisa: I can understand your wife having doubts about me, but you, Jack? After everything I've done for you? I have put my life on the line more than once to save you.

Jack: I know that, and I'm asking even more of you. Marco is still out there.

Marisa: I wish I knew where he was. But I don't.

Jack: So there is no way of tracking him down to find out where he's gonna strike next.

Victor: I am so sorry for what you suffered at Marco's hands.

Phyllis: I want to believe you, Victor. I really do. But Jack told me what the real motivation was behind this vicious plan -- business.

Victor: Oh. Is that so?

Phyllis: You thought he was out to destroy your company with some mysterious threat called the paragon project.

Victor: What do you know about that?

Phyllis: That it's your excuse for everything, and you're completely wrong. Jack isn't behind this.

Victor: If that is what you want to believe, then...

Phyllis: That is the truth. Somebody else was trying to bring you down, so you can stop spinning your wheels and going after Jack and find out who is behind this. Or don't. Because, personally, I'd love to see you go down and go down hard.

Victoria: [Sighs]

[Both laugh]

Victoria: Where did that come from?

Billy: I don't know, but, uh, it got me to forget all about that guy. Um, binger, biggie. What -- what's his name?

Victoria: [Laughs] Seriously, though, Billy.

Billy: Hmm?

Victoria: What does this mean?

Billy: [Sighs]

Marisa: [Exhales] What took so long? I missed you. Noah?

Noah: What the hell is this, huh? You never described Marco, did you? Did you? Damn it, don't lie to me. You tell me the truth. Are you protecting the man that killed my fiancée? Hmm? Are you?

Marisa: I honestly thought this was the best... I have never done anything to hurt you, and I never would. And if you don't believe that, then we truly have nothing.

[Door closes]

Victor: Now that you've had your say...

Phyllis: No, I am not gonna let you brush this all aside. I'm gonna see to it you get what's coming to you.

Victor: Really? How are you gonna do that?

Phyllis: Oh, there's gonna be a day I no longer have to keep my husband's secret, and that is why I love karma. Her timing is always perfect.

Jack: What's going on here?

Phyllis: More of the same.

Jack: What did you say to Phyllis?

Victor: You made a huge mistake by telling her everything.

Jack: Marco showed up tonight. Knowing that there were two of me allowed her to get the jump on him before she got hurt. It may have saved her life.

Victor: You may have saved her skin once. But by spilling the beans, you have put her into even greater jeopardy.

Billy: Um... I don't know what it means.

Victoria: Wow, that's really romantic.

Billy: But I know how much it meant to be with you again and to feel this close.

Victoria: Yeah, it felt like more than just sex with your ex.

[Both laugh]

Billy: Yeah, a lot more. But, um... I don't know, maybe a little less than, uh...

Victoria: Getting back together.

Billy: Right. We're not, um, miraculously back together.

Victoria: It wouldn't be that much of a miracle. I mean, I feel like we've been inching towards it for weeks.

Billy: More like months. And, um, it feels right, doesn't it?

Victoria: Yeah. On some levels, it does. [Sighs] So...

Billy: So...

Victoria: So, where do we go from here?

Billy: More of the same. Just take it easy.

Victoria: Ease? [Chuckles] Ease is good.

Billy: Good.

Victoria: Mm-hmm.

Billy: Yeah. Well, um...

Victoria: [Chuckles] Maybe you could ease your way into spending the night.

Billy: Easy does it.

Adam: My vendetta against my father, it has -- it's been my downfall in the past. I'll admit that.

Chelsea: And what's to keep that from happening again?

Adam: We're here, Chelsea. We're -- we're already here. We're so far away from that. I'm ready to put down some permanent roots here with you. I'll burn my passport if I have to.

Chelsea: [Chuckles] Stop.

Adam: Come here. Come here. Please. Come here. Listen to me. We can have everything that we ever dreamed of. All those plans that we made, we can have happily ever after.

Chelsea: Happily ever after doesn't exist.

Adam: It does exist, and you know it -- right here with you and me. I hate to put all this on you. I do. But you can save us, Chelsea. You just got to give me another chance.

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Billy: I don't control people in the name of protecting them.

Victor: I said get out!

Mariah: Sharon and Nick are putting the crib together, and trust me, they could use some help.

Others before him - and both failed. ..That includes Knievel himself. Thanks for watching! Good night!
